see in the upcoming bodyw warn camera videos Mark roher 52 has been accused of smashing a plate over a man's head after two children skipped him in line at a prime rib Carving Station on January 18th 2024 at boa Country Club according to a Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office police report instead of being the bigger man and allowing the children to go first Mark reportedly turned violent the victim was the dad of one of the children and reportedly ignored the man yelling at him and did not respond when Mark confronted him without provocation the large bald man who was Mark struck the Slimmer man on the head with a dinner plate from there on a melee began between a large number of the wedding guests a waiter at the venue told police that the plate broke when Mark allegedly struck the other man more dishes were reportedly shattered as other guests got involved in the chaos the victim said in the police report that he was trying to remove himself from the situation and turned away from Mark once he started getting agitated he then recalled being hit with a plate and shoved by by Mark before grabbing him by his collar a witness confirmed this story with police upon his arrest Mark refused we're in line um so what kind of started the whole my first my niece which is her brother is getting married so he's like that so she came in she said Ali M Uncle can of of course it's our culture we do it everybody Cuts people cut then two more girls came it's a thing and he goes hey you got to go to the back of the line and like they're little girls and some words were change which I don't remember but he pushed belly pushed me like that and almost went backwards and then grabbed me by the neck and he had a plate up in the air and I purposely didn't want to do it because it's my nephew's wedding right and I was like shocked how it went from Z to 100 so quickly and he had the plate and I purposely didn't want to defend myself even though I could have but other people grabbed him meanwhile I think his wife hit in the head with a plate um I felt the second plate I'm assuming was him that didn't move the plate as well but he attacked me several times but a lot and like I said I purposely didn't want to fight back to I think one time just to kind of like push him off of me and otherwise I never even fought back okay so when he grabbed you right after he pushed you did you like kind of fall or what he was I was dangling like when like when he pushed you like with his belly basically I'm like falling backward don't oh I'm sorry I don't know how to do it let me let me get my son you don't you don't have to demonstrate it but just kind of explain it to you he grabbed he had me in a choke hoold he had me in the choke hoold cuz he grabbed my tie I was like in a choke hole and he was grabbing me like this and he had the plate and I'm like this literally like my head's up in the ear like this and he's pushing me backwards like that he has full command of me pushing me backwards with the plate over my head which I thought he was going to kill me and then a bunch of people jumped in and started defending me okay um so when that happened right you said you felt the plate hit your head the wife definitely hit me in the head the head yes I know that for a fact and I think he hit me in the head with the plate as well okay and you might have to check the video It Happened a little too fast okay did you did you see any of that or is that I saw her hitting me head in the plate 100% yes cuz she was trying to hit me second time on the head of the plate also and then he had the plate and I I felt a second plate on my head so I'm assuming he was in the vicinity and he had a plate in his hand and only him and his wife were hitting everybody in the head with plates nobody else was doing that okay and then so when you got hit in the head where was it first where where did you get hit first in the head first over here and then on the back over here back okay and then can you show me one more time so just Point again to about this is the first one okay this one that hurts the most right here I do see and then this one over here hit me in the head back and then in the back somewhere over there somewhere in the back right there don't see anything on the back but I definitely see one one this one that's the one that's hurting okay um and then you don't want any medical attention or anything I don't want to pause the scene anymore I feeling I'm getting spat it's a bad thing okay so yeah I'll seek medical attention later if I do it later if you need to I just don't want to do got something wrong so right it started out you were in line your niece came over and wanted to get in line with you and it's like a family wedding setting and then two other girls came over daughters um they came over to get mine and stuff and then he said something about it cuz you got upset he yelled at the girls to get into the and you told them hey like you know knock it off it's it's a wedding whatever and then he took offense to that and kind of he shoved you with his stomach and then you were falling back into the that shocked me into the table kind of into the table and then he grabbed your your kind of like neck area and he had a plate over my head okay and he had a plate over your head and he was H in the head with the plate he wanted to hit you think like that point did you when did you see his wife hit you with the plate after that incident after after that after they somebody knocked him off of me okay and I think I don't know if he still had me in the chold OR knock but I saw her hit me in the head with the plate okay she literally I turned around and she was right there she hit me in the head with the plate did the plate break at all yeah in my head yes um and then did the [Music] um so which hand did she use to I think it was double-handed either double-handed or was like this okay it was really quick what um I mean if you can see the video I don't want to what did the what kind of like dress was the white Mar she had black hair I know that she had black hair do you know the color of her clothes at all I guess it was black black I saw a lot of black yeah okay cuz was so like quick okay um cuz I I didn't even see her my line of sight it was him that was like assaulting me she came in afterwards okay um but you know her to be his wife oh no I don't you don't no no no I'm sorry I don't know okay I'm I'm assuming she is you're assuming she's white okay um and okay so you guys arresting him arresting who this guy uh were you like dishing out food no I was getting ready to help my other coworker Charlie start carving okay so you're at The Carving Station yeah so I'm at The Carving Station and then there's a Slimmer guy who's wearing a gray coat he was about to get food but out of nowhere like on the corner a guy a fluffier guy baldheaded wearing a blue shirt came and he was holding the plate and he was like what was that ear and then the Slimmer guy said did you hear what he was saying at all or not really he just that's what he L he's like I don't was like was that you were saying earlier and then that's when the Slimmer guy was like what are you talking about I don't know what you're talking about that's when the simmer guy no all [ __ ] you were talking about let's do it now so then the other simmer guy turn his head cuz he was like try to ignore it and then the fluffy guy took the plate and smashed it on his head so you took the plate smacked it on his head did it break yeah it broke okay um do you know what and he used to smash on his head no probably his right but I you you weren't sure you saw him smash yeah I seen that part okay and then and then what happened once the pl was smashed that's when the Slimmer Guy start throwing his hands at him like yo like and just start punching him but once like once they start punching it's like the kids the Slimmer guy kids start jumping into the fight and then some lady on The Fluffy guy side start jumping in the fight this thing you know like people are slamming plates on each other's head oh so it's like multiple it was like 10 to 20 people gting up on everybody on everybody yeah okay um so did you see at any point like uh a female Smash or plate on someone's head yes she was wearing red red that's all I can remember okay she was wearing like this like I know what she was wearing if I seen her in the her I would know I put her out but she was wearing this like reddish and like gold to accessory she came and she smashed that plate hard on on the the Slimmer guy's head the Slimmer guy's head yeah okay um so she was wearing red was it like a dark red or like a it's like kind of more on the brighter side like you could it was like a dark bright it was like a bright red um and then so at any point did the um did the guy the Slimmer guy right was he like kind of leaned back at all and was the bigger guy kind of like holding him cuz he wasn't trying the Sim guy wasn't trying to fight at all he was no like he was starting to back up like he tried to ignore it like multiple times and even kept trying to like back up it was the fluffia guy who kept coming forward like yo we're going to do this now that's the fight the fight started because of the flu guy cuz he was so consistent and he was getting physical more and more even when they pulled them apart it came back to fight again so they pulled them apart at one point and then he came back charging back okay did did any contact happen then or yeah they started throwing B like throwing fist at each other each other again um but like you said before the whole main thing because of the fluffy guy yeah and he was wearing a blue shirt blue shirt like ball yeah fluffy ball okay and then the guy in the gray like they have like slick hair slick slick back hair was it black you wearing like a gray suit yeah gray suit gray suit slim and his chair was like gel back okay and all right so um is there anything I fa to ask you'd like to add to this sement no alcohol involved this is just pure angor there no this wedding we don't provide lior at this plate or something like that the female also wife of the suspect hit her with a knife or a plate then the guy allegedly said hey I'm going to go to my car and get my gun n Val guy the suspect guy yeah the 31 suspect big attorney guy so that's I was like does he have a gun in the car not we're going to 105 him not her or we're going to get consent cuz this he threw it out there that he's an attorney so I want to make sure we do everything by the book and if he allows us to look in there and make sure there's no gun in there and she's not arrested we can go turn it over but if not you may have to find a different way to get into the car to see if you had a gun oh because she would be taking the car home okay so inter she say I feel threatened that all those people standing there and they're going to go to first appearance he's going to get a court date and then I believe he should be let out but that's up to the what about the other guy so again I can't talk to you about any of that because you chose and look your right um so I did my investigation I spoke to everyone I needed to speak to I spoke to him and chose to not say anything so I have to go based off my investigation so um in regards to the vehicle you have the keys correct M you guys were in the car when we got here right no we were standing outside okay how'd the car get here whoa when he went to take the car and then they said pull over over there so he pulled over there and we got out the car okay okay so but you have the keys obviously okay um when he pulled over obviously he pulled over here correct and he parked it here and then you guys got out and spoke to us okay um so you have all his things no I don't have his phone and I don't have he wants to take his phone and his IDE with them okay okay um so we have that um so what do I do I just go to that address that you told me you just go home go home for the night and then they'll call you um or you can call them and see when he's going to get out but um why can't I why can't I get at tonight if I because so here's the thing right the process is he gets booked and then he has to go to first appearance first appearance there is no first appearance at 10:45 at night there first appearance in the morning s around 7 in the morning his first appearance he's going to get out after he spes to the judge and he gets a court date that's usually how it happens okay and then after that you can get whatever you need to get together you go to the court date and you handle it that's usually the process of these kind of things um so right okay so that's what's going to happen um you need me to write down the address for you okay M I'll write down the address and the phone number um and then you'll just have to it's like a you have to kind of navigate the phone number like it's one of the things you press the buttons to go to whatever Department you need to um but I'll write down 3 2 2 e Gun Club Road and then okay 3228 G Club Road
