[Music] Turn the car off. Stay in the car. Stay in the car. Stay in the car. Stay in the car. Stay in the car. What are you doing? Get down on the ground. Get down on the ground right now. Get down on the ground. >> Get down on the ground right now. 274. [Applause] >> Hey, um, do you want to check on a truck in the Champs parking lot? He backed into it when he was backing out of the parking lot at Champs. It's like in the lane that faces northbound at the very end like by Geneva Street and it should be out to the right faces north. >> It's a black pickup. >> Black pickup. >> All right, fud. We have a seat in the back of this car right here. >> Can I stay outside? >> I didn't I didn't check this side. >> I was hanging on to him. So, can I stay outside? >> Hang on. No, you got to go where we go. You don't >> get to choose where you're at. You got AC here. All right, we're good. >> Yeah, I got AC. All right, [Applause] >> we can leave the window down too. >> We'll just hang on to it. I'll wait for the car. >> I'm going to go run this quick. >> Hey, you know whose truck that is? >> Jake's. >> Rockeiler. >> Swear to God. >> Swear to God. >> Uh, this is yours. >> You're joking, right? Go get the computer, man. >> Oh my god. >> So, at least we won't have to deal with a drunk [ __ ] This is why I don't park in these many lots. 27. >> Damaged vehicle is going to be Wisconsin plate. Tom Victor 3782. Tom Victor 3782. You'll know the RO when you see it. Hey, which bar are you in? >> Yeah, you might want to come out to your truck, homeboy. Somebody just backed into it and tried to take off. Yeah, that's pretty good. There's not a lot. It's It's minor damage, bud. But you still might want to come take a look. All right, B. >> What? It's like the universe has a sick sense of humor. >> I'm trying to see if there's like a >> I It looked like it might have be all cosmetic. Yeah, I think I mean it'll buff it. Yeah, I'll let you do it. >> What's going on? >> Hey, buddy. >> Is there a lot of damage or no? >> No, you scuffed it. I don't >> If it's a scuff, I'm not going to care. >> Yeah, >> it's just going to create more of a work for you guys. >> Well, the guy tried to get >> Did he take off or what? Yeah, we got him. But yeah. >> Oh, you got him. >> Yeah, we took off. >> Anybody else in the car? >> No, it looks like it's just him. >> Okay. >> Um, >> so he backed into a car. >> Yeah, he backs into a car in the Champ parking lot. He pulls out. Um, at first he didn't have his lights on and then he drives um northbound on center west on Wisconsin. Goes right here, goes through the PNC drive-thru going the wrong way, then comes back out here. He like came to a stop at one point and then um took off again. He's like, "I didn't know you were trying to shot me." Like, "Dude, come on." Right. >> Um, and he just like throws it in park right here. And then uh like gets out of the car and is like doing this after I'm telling him like, "Dude, stay in the car." And he like gets out. All right. You feel like giving up for fleeing or failure to stop for emergency vehicle or >> Yeah, failure to stop for emergency vehicle. I want to say there's definitely enough for me. Um >> I mean if there's enough then >> I'm just wondering like should we impound it? Um and then he's just going to have to figure out when we can go back. >> Does that come back to him? >> No, it came back to somebody else. A female, I think. >> Yeah, we'll throw in our outdoor. >> I didn't I didn't I I was not trying to run, bro. I didn't know y'all was coming for me, bro. I would have stopped. I stopped instantly when right when I seen that he was coming from me, I stopped. >> Okay. >> I'm not trying to run, bro. That's the worst thing I can do, >> right? >> You know what I mean? Like, >> so like when you guys put me in handcuffs and [ __ ] I kind of felt bad. >> Whose car is this, my man? >> It's my I bought this car from a friend of mine, bro. >> Okay. So, what's your friend? >> Uh, it's uh Waldo. The Eddie Waldos. >> Okay. >> And they're out there in Harvard. So, like I can't >> How long have you had the car? >> I've had it for about 2 months now. Okay. >> Or a month or maybe so. >> Okay. >> Yeah. I bought it for about 15 15 to two 2500. >> All right. >> And then I've had it for now and they're trying to work on the title and [ __ ] like that. So, >> sure. >> That's all it is, man. I'm not trying to cause a problem, bro. >> All right, man. I'm going to let you explain to me your side of the story in a little bit. But you got to understand how suspicious that looks on my part when you're like >> Yeah. No, I didn't know. I didn't know. >> So, like I said, man, just wait for a little while. I'm going to let you give me your side of the story, okay? But for now, I just got to like take pictures of the car and everything. >> Do what you got to do, bro. It's your job, dude. That that that's the thing. A lot of people don't understand that. >> Police officers got to do what they got to do. Yeah. >> How's your evening going? is good. >> Now I got to do an IR. >> You got to do what you got to do. >> I pulled my taser in, you know, >> activated the new uh like the cuz they don't it doesn't do the spark test anymore cuz he was kept protesting digging in his pocket and uh >> all the new ones >> the one that just it doesn't do a spark test. It it like makes noises and flashes like a high pitch noise. >> Gotcha. So, they're definitely aware something's happening. >> Wow. Like, what are the odds of car? >> I was like I saw him whip around. I'm like, "Oh." And then I was like, "Call on Wisconsin." I'm like, "He's still going." And then I looked and he still is going. I'm like, "What the hell?" >> All right, Jay. It was not like >> So, since you're under arrest right now, I'm going to read you your rights. >> Uh, you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in court of law. Uh, you have the right to consult with a lawyer before questioning and to have a lawyer present with you during questioning. If you can't afford to hire a lawyer, one will be appointed to represent you at public expense before or during questioning if you so wish. >> If you decide to start answering questions now without a lawyer present, you have the right to stop the questioning and remain silent at any time you wish and the right to ask for and have a lawyer at any time you wish, including during the questioning. Do you understand each of the rights that I read to you? >> Mhm. >> Okay. So tell me again that you're saying that you didn't think that I was trying to pull you over, but dude, I turned my lights on when we were like way like as soon as you pulled out of the bar basically cuz I saw you back into the car like you know you hit that car, right? >> No, I didn't. I did cuz I didn't. >> But dude, it made a loud sound and I could hear it from like down the block where I was. I mean, I wasn't that far away, but I could still hear it. So like you definitely would have heard it. You got a little dent on your bumper there, too. I mean, it's not the end of the world. It's not the biggest crash ever, but like, dude, you definitely would have felt that in the car. You're telling me you didn't feel that? >> No. >> All right. Did you realize that you didn't have your lights on at first when you pulled out of the parking lot? >> No, I had my lights on. >> Well, you had them on like after you pulled out of the parking lot, but you didn't have them on for a couple of seconds. >> Yeah, cuz I I turned them on. >> All right. Um, how much did you have at the bar? Like to drink? >> Uh, not much. >> Not much. What's not much for you? Like a couple of drinks. Three. >> Just one beer. I had one or two beers. That was it. Was it one or was it two? >> It was one or two. >> All right. Was it actually one or two? Cuz everybody says one or two. >> Yeah. Yeah. You know, you have the half and then you're just like, "All right, I'm done." >> All right. So, you're telling me that you didn't know that I was trying to pull you over. So, you're telling me that you drove backwards through the PNC drive-thru? >> I did not drive backwards. >> You drove the wrong way through the PNC drive? >> No, I did not. I backed out of the the parking lot and then I drove out of there. >> All right. Well, we we'll talk a little bit later. We got an air conditioned room that you can sit in. Um, but I'm just letting you know right now the car is going to have to get towed. >> So, can I call can I call somebody? >> You'll have an opportunity to call somebody. Who's the car registered to right now? >> Uh, the the person that you found on the registration. So, you should probably call >> Do you know that person? >> Yeah. >> How are you related to that person? Are they friend? Are you friends, relatives? >> It's just I know them. >> You know them? >> Because I bought the car. >> All right. Is Larry's in >> 723. Can you call Larry's for inbound? >> Are you saying like at the party call them and have them come pick? >> You'll you'll have an opportunity to call him and you can just let him know that it's going to be at the Larry's Towing Impound lot in Lake Geneva. Um I'll let you call him in a little while. Um do you mind if I just like >> So I'll wait for the toe. We'll take it to our palm that way. Unless he has paper and everything, but I think we'll just take it to our outdoor. >> Okay. Got it. >> He should come in. Should I do a search first or just Okay. Yeah. And then I I can hear. >> Okay. Small glass jar containing suspected marijuana phone in the uh right behind the uh front driver's seat pocket or passenger seat pocket. >> Say what? Any any paperwork with his name on it? >> Uh he's got Are you talking about the vehicle registration? >> Oh, no. I'll check again for the glove box, but >> I'll Mhm. >> All right. Thanks. >> All right. >> I'm not going to do anything crazy, bro. I'm I'm I'm comprehending. >> Okay. >> And I'm I'm with everything, but the handcuffs is [ __ ] me up. >> All right. We're like two blocks away from our police department. So, we're going to go there now. I'll take the handcuffs off. Let you uh >> cool down a little bit. >> Yeah, we got air conditioning there, too. See, you're sweating pretty bad. >> We're going to get there. I get We're literally two blocks away. >> Perfect. Okay, we'll figure it out. >> You guys called the people for the car. right now. >> Call them and what did they say? >> Well, we got he'll explain to you. [Applause] >> He's going to come. >> He's going to come and pick up the car or he's going to get towed. >> He's going to have to get towed. But we'll let you know where he's going to be at. >> Oh, all right. >> Window. >> Just halfway. Can you just so I can get a little air, you know? >> Damn, dude. So So what's the charges then? I'm going to explain all that to you a little bit. >> All right. Your name's Jaylen, right? >> Do you go by Jaylen or Jay? >> Jay. >> All right. >> Look at you. You already know. >> I already know >> Jay. >> All right. We're going to go up in the air. Oop. Sorry. My bad. >> We're going to be going to that green door over there. Going to go upstairs in the air conditioning. As long as you can agree to be decent with me, man. We'll take the cuffs off. >> Dude, I'm good, bro. This is up, bro. I I was not expecting this, but you know, [ __ ] happens. I'm not trying to give you a hard time, bro. Which I appreciate. I'm trying to get through this, bro. I can call my lawyer, too, bro. Cuz I do I do have a lawyer. >> Okay. >> Thing is, you your office just took my my wallet. So, now >> I got your I got your wallet. We'll get that back to you. >> Can you show me that? >> It's in my car still, but it's in a secure garage. >> Yeah, cuz I got a I got a ticket on there on my way. go in there. Uh this room right here and then stand right here. Have a seat on the metal bench, please. Yes, sir. All right. So, first things first, let's uh confirm your current contact information. Um do you still Go ahead and open it. You ready? >> I'm not cooperating, bro. >> You got a warrant. So, >> I'm not cooperating unless unless I talk to my lawyer and my lawyer tells me like, "Hey, you have no other choice." But >> tell you what, you can you can you can talk to me. I'll keep it real with you. You know what I mean? >> You always been keep >> That's the only reason why I with you. This >> I don't want I don't want over here. I don't want my me in the ass if you get here alone with me. >> I hope not. >> Look at the way he holding me right now, bro. >> I'm not going to run. Bro, I've been cooperating this whole time. Come on, Coach Carter. >> You just said you're not cooperating. Now you're saying you're cooperating. >> I've been cooperating, but I'm not cooperating on the blood test because you haven't let me call my lawyer, bro. So I don't want things to >> if if I'm not out of hand >> if I'm not able to call my lawyer, they're not sticking. So they're not >> nah. If they do that [ __ ] against my will, then you know how. >> So that's what I'm trying to tell you. I'm >> telling you right now, >> they're not sticking the needle with me. >> All right. >> So y'all might as well call some more if y'all going to hold me down. >> That's what's going to have to happen. >> Yeah. Call him then. Bro, >> I don't I don't want it to go that way. >> Listen, bro. I'm not able to call my lawyer. >> Here's the thing. >> I'm I am not able to call my lawyer right now. >> I'm trying to call my lawyer and they're not letting me call my lawyer. >> They want me to submit to a blood test and I can't call my lawyer. >> That's your blood. That's That's your body. You >> made your point, dude. >> All right, cool. >> My point is why go that route when the end result cannot talk to my lawyer. Even if I did talk to my lawyer, at least he'll let me know like, "Hey, look, the end results is going to be the same." >> Yeah, >> I I understand you. I with you. You my dog, but I need my lawyer, bro. >> I feel you. I feel you. >> You work You work for them just like he worked for them. >> Yeah. >> So, it's just like >> I trust you, but I don't trust you, bro. >> But the end result is going to be the same. >> It's not It's not If I got my lawyer, a lawyer is not present. Yeah. >> My lawyer is not present. >> This is her jail >> clearance. >> Uh legal blood and jail clearance. >> Yeah. My lawyer is not present. >> You don't want to go, right? >> Um which room? Oh, like >> the nurse and then the two chairs back there. >> Yep. Sounds good. >> Address. Oh, you guys can head back. >> All right. Thanks. All right. B. We're going. We're going. Let's go. Walk. >> Look down. My lawyer. Look out my lawyer. You can call your lawyer when you get to jail. >> No, I can call my lawyer right now. My lawyer needs to be present right now. >> I'm not taking no. >> You have a warrant. >> I don't give a if you got a warrant or not, bro. My lawyer is not present, bro. >> You can call your lawyer when you call right now, bro. >> Uh, legal button, JC. >> 11. >> All right. Yeah. >> I call my lawyer right now, bro. >> All right. We're going into this room right here, J. >> No, bro. No. Let's not go this way. No, >> dude. You're this close to getting a resistant charge. Call your lawyer in like 15 minutes. Why can't I call a lawyer right now for your blood? >> Why can't I call >> Let's go into the >> for my blood drive, >> dude. Right now. Let's go. >> Bro, why can't I call my lawyer, bro? >> Dude, you're getting a resistance card now for sure. Sit. Sit on the bed. >> Because I want to call my lawyer. You give me a resistant card because I want to call my lawyer, bro. Think about it, bro. >> That's not why. >> Because you're nuclear, >> bro. You're not even letting me know that I can call my lawyer, bro. You're not even telling me like, "Hey, look, you can call your lawyer at this time." >> You don't want to do this. >> First name is J A Y O L I N. >> Bro, I don't want to take no test until I call my lawyer. >> You mind if I ask you some questions? >> No, because I want to call my lawyer. Can you call my lawyer? If you can call my lawyer and talk to him and tell him that I'm here right now, then I will answer any question you want to ask. >> I will go to the county. I will do everything responsible, but I need to know that my lawyer knows that I'm here. Bro, >> she's a nurse. >> If my lawyer don't know that I'm here, then I can't. >> Jay, she doesn't care. She doesn't care about any of the legal stuff. >> Yeah, but you do. And you know, so this is your job, bro. So, call my lawyer, bro. >> She doesn't care about the legal stuff. She's only >> You have my lawyer number, bro. Call my lawyer, bro. >> Stuff is there. If any >> Call my lawyer, bro, he's probably going to need to get held down. >> You have my number and everything. driving accident driving. >> Uh short short pursuit. Um he backed into another car. Um >> I did not parking lot short pursuit and then >> Okay. So no major car accident or anything. No major car. Very low speed. >> I just want my lawyer present, bro. >> Okay. >> I'm no blood presses. I don't want to do nothing. >> Dr. Silver, let me just explain. You're in the ER just for us to eyeball you. I We don't have anything with the legal part of this. Okay. The lawyer part is with the police, okay? We're just making sure you're okay because you were brought in by police. You had a minor car accident. We just want to make sure you're okay. That's that's what we do. Did you have any injury or anything right now? Okay. Do you have any medical problems I need to know about? No. Okay. Do you want Can we take your blood pressure or No. No. Okay. Well, write that down then. Okay. Okay. That's all I need to know. Okay. >> So, he's going to be a legal blood in jail clearance. >> He's probably going to need to get held down for the blood draw. >> You tend to have a way of uh getting through to people in a way that I sometimes can't. So maybe you uh Cody here can figure out a way to get this guy to just cooperate and see there's no way going to let you drop the blood. >> Okay. So >> yeah, I can I can >> All right. >> Okay. Look, if y'all take my blood pressure and just show them my blood pressure, what would you think? >> Just my blood pressure, bro. >> Is it high? >> You guys let them take your blood pressure? Yeah. >> It's freaking me out, bro. If I have a stroke right now, then what? >> At the emergency room. >> Say it again. >> No, no, no, no, no. Say it again. >> I said you're at the emergency room. >> I'm at the emergency room, so I'll be good without >> Well, we don't had a stroke. >> No, no, no, no. But if I have a stroke, I'll be good cuz I'm at the I'm at the emergency room. >> I mean, where where else is a better place to have a stroke, I guess? Would >> you let them take your blood pressure? >> I would let them take my blood pressure. And that's Hey, >> you think I was going to prison with this mother on a policy? >> I'm just at the dollar. I'm just at the doctor, bro. >> Just a policy thing. I've had a hundred people come through here and every single one of them's got to wear the same belt. >> That's crazy, bro. >> It's more comfortable than have being handcuffed behind your back, though. Right. >> It is. And I ain't going to lie to you, it most definitely is. >> There's people in here and they stayed in handcuffs behind their back the whole time. And I don't understand how they go through that. >> So, I appreciate that. But at the same time, bro, this [ __ ] is crazy, bro. >> So, we we we've been here for probably >> just doing your job, bro. >> We've been here for probably 6 minutes now, right? We could have we could be halfway done and you could be on the way to the jail to call your lawyer. >> Yeah, because all of that [ __ ] is relevant because I just want to call him right now >> because he always told me, bro, >> we are right across the street from >> He always told me, right? >> Yeah. >> Then let's go there, then. >> We will as soon as we get your blood. >> No, that just go there right now. You know, like he always told me if you in a situation, call me. >> Yeah. >> The police what they talking about what they all that call me. And that's what I'm trying to do. And y'all not let me. >> So when I let him know that y'all did not let me call him because >> because I've been arrested, >> but you're going to see a judge respectfully, right? You're going to see a judge >> and have a court date and you're going to be able to call your lawyer in like 15 minutes. >> Yeah. But like right now, this is just this is just this is just a bunch of [ __ ] that I don't know. This is not what I went to school for. I didn't go to school to be a Lord. I didn't I don't know why the y'all got me right here sitting in this room. I don't know why the y'all pull me over. I don't know why the y'all say that I'm fleeing and looting. I don't know none of this [ __ ] So, the best way to figure that out is to call my lawyer and talk to him and tell him. >> Your lawyer wasn't even here when it happened. He could tell you exactly what happened. >> Yeah. Jake, what you got to do is you got to trust that all of us here, all of us here know how to do our jobs. And you got to trust that no one here is going to violate your rights. No one here is going to >> But I'm black, bro. >> I'm black. This [ __ ] is >> I'm black, too. >> You're still black. >> You're got red hair, so don't even >> He probably seen them dreads and was like all his [Music] I tell you my man. >> It's not a black and white thing. Ramy and I definitely black and white thing. >> Hey, but my dude right here. >> I don't know. He's giving me different vibes. You seem pretty cool. >> He is cool. You mind if I talk to you for a couple minutes here? Just to kind of like >> just me and you. >> Just me and you real quick. >> I'm done with that. >> Do you have any allergies? Any medications? >> So, like just talk for a couple minutes. >> No. this year. Yeah. So, I work with the hostel. I'm not with police and my whole job is to make sure they have >> and I got to take a piss right now. Yeah. I really want to do this >> again. >> Yeah. I mean, you can do that for all. We're not trying to >> How about this? >> I don't want you guys to >> So, you can help with stuff like this. >> Did he change his mood at all? >> He's definitely calmed down. >> Um, I think it would probably be better if you guys were out of the room. >> Okay. >> He might I do need to like observe it. >> Yeah. Oh, no. I mean like just at the doorway. >> Okay. >> Like that. That should be perfectly fine. >> I thought you was like black and Mexican, bro. >> Most people think I'm Puerto Rican, but I'm just >> Dude, I thought you was black and Mexican. >> Really? Puerto Rican? >> I'm not Puerto Rican. I'm just black and Jewish. I'm like >> surprised. >> Jewish? >> Yeah. >> That's why you cop, bro. >> You love that [ __ ] huh? >> Yeah. It's a good job. >> Sometimes. >> Sometimes. We're going to get through this one way or another. >> We will, bro. >> We will. >> But the thing is, bro, I just feel like it's very up that y'all making me take a blood test. >> You know what's up? Is you're going to make us hold you down? >> No, I'm not going to make y'all, bro. I'm not going to make y'all do [ __ ] But the thing is, bro, >> it's weird. Don't do that. >> Where Where the is my lawyer, bro? >> I have no idea. I don't know who your lawyer is. >> Exactly. And y'all not let me call him, bro. >> You can call him right after this. No, she's she she look good as I let her do that [ __ ] from the free, bro. >> Let her take her, bro. >> Okay. Bro, >> we having a good time. >> That works. >> No, I'm lying, bro. Come on. >> You don't need to hold me, bro. You said we don't need to. >> We don't need to hold you. >> No, bro. Cuz y'all y'all ain't letting me call my lawyer, bro. >> You can We're not not letting you call your lawyer. You can call your lawyer. We should do this first. >> So, the thing is, >> yeah, >> y'all won't take my blood, right? >> We're taking your blood. Yeah. >> And then I'm going to call a lawyer. >> And then you And then you can call your lawyer. >> And then my lawyer is going to be like, I'm going to tell him how y'all abuse and use me in several ways because you about to grab me. >> Yeah. >> He's about to grab me and so is he. >> It doesn't It doesn't have to. But it doesn't have to be that way. But I don't want it to be that way because I'm telling you that let me call my lawyer and y'all don't let me call my lawyer. But instead, y'all choose to the violence. >> All right. The the time is now. We're doing the blood draw. Is it Are you going to be cooperative? >> Understand the time is now. But the time is now is >> Are you going to be cooperative or not? That's what we need to know. >> No, >> you're not. All right. And we got to hold you down. That's the only way. All right. Swing your other foot up on the bed. >> This one, >> bro. Just come on. Just come on. Just come on. Just come on. Just come on, bro. They don't know what they doing, bro. They don't know what they doing. My mom's a flotamist, bro. If I wanted to get out of this, I swear I'll be able to get out of this, bro. >> You might as well bag up, bro. I ain't going nowhere, bro. >> Don't do anything. >> Yeah, I know, bro. Cuz I'm not stupid, bro. That [ __ ] will my blood up. It'll hurt me more. >> Indeed, it will. >> Exactly. I'm not. I know. But the thing is, bro, I'm going to make sure. >> All right. >> Just get back, bro. I'm not going nowhere, bro. But the fact that you got that warm ass leg next to you, >> that's what I'm talking about, dude. >> Dude, I swear I'm not going nowhere, bro. >> I don't trust you, though. >> You got me feeling nervous and [ __ ] >> Yeah. Can you back up now? Cuz they didn't even take my blood pressure and you told me they were going to take my blood pressure first. >> You don't know. >> Yeah, that's that was one of the things that you could refuse blood pressure. >> Yeah, but I wanted the blood pressure before. I wanted the blood drawn. >> Well, you said no. She asked you a couple of times and then >> cap. >> Yeah. Once once you say no, they're just like, "Okay." And they write it in their charts and >> didn't even bleed. >> Exactly. >> Very nice. >> What happens when you drink a lot? >> You bleed a lot. >> Let's go. >> I appreciate that. Let's get the out of here, bro. >> Almost. >> Almost. >> Yeah. We're almost done. I had 3:38 for the time. >> What does that mean? >> The time that it got drawn. 3:30. >> I swear to God, bro, >> when I tell my lawyer, >> I just want to know your name. >> You'll have it, man. It's officer Dunaway. It's going to be on the report. >> Okay. >> All right. We're all set. Always a pleasure. weird. >> I know. >> I know. It's weird for me, too. >> I want to pull away from you.
