On January 17th, 2025, a deputy from the Walworth County Sheriff's Department attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle that was registered to an individual with a suspended driver's license. The suspect vehicle accelerated and the deputy observed multiple items being tossed out the window. The vehicle then passed a semi in a no passing zone before pulling over shortly later. He was sentenced to 5 months in jail, 3 years of probation, and was ordered to pay $2,624 in fines. The male passenger, Kevin, was found guilty for possession of THC and was ordered to pay a $1,500 fine. The female passenger, Ashlin, was found guilty for second offense possession of cocaine. She spent 47 days in jail and was sentenced to 2 years of probation in order to pay $1,850 in fines.
