What's your address here? You have a boat. >> Boat cover. >> Okay, gotcha. Yeah, we'll check that. Um, our detectives will probably follow up with you in case the suspect ran through your yard. We'll want to check your cameras. So, if you get any notifications on your phone within the last hour and a half, if you want to just check, >> he'll be able to grab his easily. >> Gotcha. >> Grab your phone. >> Oh, my phone. So, >> Oh, so >> we just saw you had cameras. So, >> Oh, >> if you got anything on any of them. >> Okay. What? >> Then after you leave, just stay in your house, lock your doors and windows. And >> I used to work at a police department. Oh, cool. Which one are you looking for? Uh Bayside. >> Okay. Yeah, it's just like a middle-aged white dude. Salt and pepper buzz cut wearing a black tank top, light colored shorts. >> He crashed about an hour ago. Just been trying to clear the neighborhood since then. So he quite likely out of the area. >> Yeah, he's fleeing from me. >> Oh, an imagination station. >> Yeah, he hit the dead end. He's went south on South Main and then ran out of road, crashed. Yeah. >> So the car's still there? >> Yep. Yeah, we're going to get all that stuff. So we don't anticipate there's any threat to the public, though. He's probably trying to get out of town. No. >> Yeah. Hey, do you want to check your uh phone app and see if you got any notifications or trips on your cameras in the last 90 minutes to two hours? Crash. >> Well, we didn't we didn't have um >> You didn't have them on? >> I didn't have them activated. >> They weren't active. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Gotcha. >> You're welcome. >> Sounds good. See if you ditched any [ __ ] Sig button is smoking a sig. Well, >> it out. >> Thank you. Yeah. I was like, is this really taking off? I saw the Burlington address on his return. I saw this guy on lake in between the bypass and north lap bumps like 800 block. I ran his place as he passed me top Burlington. So I turned around on him by then. He was already going 4550 south on >> North Lap and then hung right on to Lisbon. He >> was going 5565 down Lisbon North Lake then. >> What's that? >> Did you go to Lisbon and North Lake or you go to >> Yeah. And then he went southbound on North Lake and then we just took that all the way south. He was still going probably 40 or 50 down here. ran out of road >> and then it looked like he wanted to turn right >> and then you just lost control the sign and then >> How far were you behind him now? >> I was right on him. >> You're right. >> Yeah. >> So the owner might have caught him getting out of the car. >> Oh, I totally did. Yeah, I was I was right here. >> Okay. >> And then he ran in between that detached garage and the pine tree and I couldn't see him. I'm not going to chase what I can't see cuz I want to get my head blown off. So then I just went back to the car, cleared it. >> Got a pill bottle right in the uh shirt. >> Yeah. And we've already got a statement from the RORO saying that he was supposed to have the vehicle tonight as well. So, we'll check the clock, see where these plates we're going and take it from there. I'll search this puppy and we can get it towed to the PD. >> Yep. >> Hello there, Okano PD. Yeah. >> Hi. Sorry to bug you. Is um 28 Teresa here. >> Yeah. >> Could you bring her to the um over here to speak with her, please? >> Regarding her brother, >> JK 3736. I just hear you back. >> Good morning. Sort of buggies. So early. >> You're terres. >> Um Jason, your brother. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Does he stay here or anything? I'm sorry to again give you the >> That's okay. I wish I had any information for you, but I disowned my brother. >> When was that? I haven't talked to him. >> When I threw him out of here, he like took a hold of her right there in in the chair. >> I was out mowing >> and that had to have been >> he was possibly involved in an incident within the city of Okanawok and we understand that. >> Victor 118. >> Yeah, he was possibly involved in an incident within the city of Okconaw. So, I'm trying to see where his current whereabouts are. >> Well, I would tell you if he's here, you know, he's not here. >> Okay. >> Victor 19. >> And how close to here have you been? >> Oh, that's not good. >> Go ahead. Sorry. >> 331 trying to raise you. >> Hold on one second. >> Yeah. >> Um All right. So, >> if he's around here, I need to know cuz >> Yeah, we do need to know because we've I mean, yeah, I >> I see CW just about everywhere except that's fine. So you disowned him like how long ago? >> God, I don't know. >> It had been over a year. Over few years or >> No, not over few years. It was about It was It was one of the holidays cuz you had him had him over for Easter and then was it was it Mother's Day or May last year? Well, it was somewhere around there >> cuz right there I told him never to come when we were standing right in the driveway. We were screaming at him. He's a He's a big dude. >> Okay. and I was mowing and I was like I I didn't get too close to >> Why would he even be an Okconom though? It's like freaking me out. >> I'm not sure. So, he's some connection with Burlington. And believe me, I just got woken up at 2 a.m. to come on in. So, I'm as tired as you folks are. >> Ride in Milwaukee is the only day I drive in Milwaukee. >> Well, now Yeah, you're right. Um, so basically there was an incident that occurred with one of our road squads on third shift and we believe that he was driving a vehicle ultimately. >> Yeah, close to here, >> but more in downtown Okanawok area. >> Out here, >> we understand that he was he's your brother, so we wanted to see if he was possibly coming out to this residence or anything like that. >> Yeah, to be honest with you, >> how long ago was this? >> About an hour and a half ago. >> What the I got to drive to Milwaukee today. I I I work in Milwaukee one day a week. >> Yeah, >> he's my older brother. >> Again, we can't confirm right now that he was the one driving, but we have a strong suspicion that he was. >> Crazy when you know >> I'm calling in I'm going to just work from home today and call working I'll work >> again. No, I we just have a vehicle that we believe he was driving. He was operating from what we understand from our investigation already. >> And he's just took off on foot from where the vehicle ended up. >> What? >> Yeah. >> And if he kidding me right now, >> if he's around, he he knows exactly where we're at. I'm going to call him. We're >> I'm getting ready to retire again. >> Sure. >> It's like I'm just I can do that. >> All right. And then one last question. There's a car that's bumpy on my junker. He has the Beamer and that's his He's >> good kid. Yeah. So that's the the Mercedes is his and so he would have picked him up or anything. >> Hell no. My kids don't have anything >> cuz the engine's warm in the car. >> Oh, no. He gets off work at 1:30 in the morning. >> Okay. Gets off. >> He works at the industrial work. >> No, he works in >> Oh, we got to be so damn thorough. >> I know. That's cool. Yeah. No, he gets >> Where does he work at? So, all right. So you you haven't spoke to him since since the basically it's falling out unfortunately. Okay. >> All right. Um let me give my boss a quick call. Just brief them and then I don't think I have any other questions for you. Okay. >> Yeah. >> All right. >> Run the bathroom. >> Go ahead. I I'm Yeah. I'm sorry to um start your day unfortunately at 4:00 a.m. It's normally when I'm waking up to go to work. So all right. I'll be right with you folks. We're usually just about >> we get a statement from try to get a body camera statement saying it was there. >> Yeah, we can send our detectives down to Burlington later and then they can talk to Ro just to get a statement from her that dude had the car. >> Um I couldn't see anything in his hands. >> Okay. >> As he was running away, he was smoking a cigarette. But >> I didn't see his face, so I can't say >> for sure if it's probably him. But >> the nexus of the warrant, the P&P, the statement from her that he was the operator. >> Yeah. Um, so I mean, we've got him for like we had to search the car, but right now it's just flee suspected THC on the driver's floorboard and then >> I would just uh take pictures of >> Yeah, I'll get everything before I start ripping through it and help you out with that and then we'll get >> We got to write the crash cuz he biffed the poor sign. Yeah. >> There's a shirt in the vehicle with pills. Okay. >> If those are prescribed to him, then poor sign. I'll write him a muffler ticket, too. I'm going to write him for his uh defective top stop lamp, too. The delta 8 flower. Oh, he left his wallet. >> Oh, yeah. >> We got Mr. Shriber. >> Victor 331. >> There's a wallet inside the vehicle with Jason Shriber's DL in it. chore boy. Seriously, there's some chore boy and [ __ ] on the driver's floorboard as well. Yeah, it's not open. >> Yeah, it's not going. >> Try ripping thiser open. >> You sight him for no front plates. >> Well, he had it. It got knocked off when he hit the sign. >> He's going to get one for a muffler. >> Muffler. Defective top stop lamp. Unreasonably imprudent. >> Stop sign. >> Yeah, that door is not open. >> No. >> These are his pills, too. >> It's for erectile dysfunction. That just makes it great. >> Just put them in the drug evidence bag. >> Yep. >> Oh, they're shorts, not a shirt. >> Nope. That door is not opening. digital scale. >> Oh, yeah. >> Yeah. So, I'm sure he's got the I mean, obviously, if you're up here from Burlington, this late at night, probably dealing with this damn door open. Not a very smart dope dealer to be driving a car that's not registered to you, but full of [ __ ] with your name on it. Okay. So, as a convicted felon, carrying concealed knife is a mismeir. He's a prohibited person. So, obviously, this is not your run-of-the-mill pocket knife for like opening letters and cutting up candy bars and [ __ ] So, carrying a concealed knife. I just want to see if he's got a GM vehicle registered to him. There's a GM key in there next to all this [ __ ] Just build the case against this one of there's two phones. It was dead, but it's in a fair bag with it. So, >> later. >> Yep. I don't think there's I Oh, is that pretty? >> That's a window lock. >> Oh, look at you go. >> You are so good. >> That makes it easier. It locked. >> It was locked. Yeah. Oh, I'm a key fob era kid. So, circa 2000. Oh, yeah. Beer. Oh, like Cers. >> A warrant was later issued for Jason's arrest and he decided to turn himself in and admitted to throwing drugs out of the vehicle while fleeing. Jason was found guilty for vehicle operator fleeing or eluding an officer and possession of methamphetamine. He was sentenced to 3 and 1/2 years in prison and 4 years of probation.
