on February 12th 2023 an officer from the park Falls Police Department stopped a vehicle for having tint that was too dark on the Windows hello sir officer for Park Falls Police Department hey the reason for the Stop is actually the dark dark tint on your windows um yeah the left and right of the driver are actually supposed to be 50% these are supposed to be 35 um I am 10 certified it definitely looks lower than both both levels um have you had the 10 your car the entire time or since you bought it yeah since I bought it I bought it from my great uncle okay it's a Florida car okay I got you you have Wisconsin plates on it yeah okay so those those numbers come from Wisconsin State statutes and I can definitely test it right in front of you and tell you if it if it is accurate or not I'm telling you it definitely looks like it's definitely going to be lower than the lead would you want to test it I'm kind of I can definitely I can definitely test it you got a driver's license of yourself everyone on the roadway law enforcement you know it's it's just not a safe thing to have on your vehicle okay um so tell you what um I'm not going to make you rip it off right here or anything like that I'm just going to give you a warning for the tint okay um and I'm also going to just just let me check the statute I don't believe if you're under the age of 21 you can even transport alcohol in your vehicle really correct okay so let me just check on that really quick um and I'll be right up with you okay do you you want me to drive drop it back off at home I'm I'm going best ways you can take it to an auto body shop and they can actually do it but honestly take a blow dryer warm it up and it peels right off yep yeah it peels right off all right so your driver's explain that your information's up here your vehicle's information's there there's uh the location that I saw your vehicle uh I only put venting uh side windows meaning left and right of the driver I didn't put all of them but it it applies to all of them all right man um I'm not going to make you come in and show us that you took it off or anything but just be aware that you know it is on record you know if I happen to see your vehicle again like a month from now and I stop you you can a citation you know if the tint still on there all right so my information is right there and our PD's information is right there if you have further questions all right man so all right you are underage um under the age of 21 okay until you're 21 you can't even transport alcohol in a motor vehicle all right so I I am issuing you one Citation for underage transporting alcohol all right it can't be in the vehicle all right man so tell you what you have a court date it's March 28th 2023 at 9:00 a.m. it's a n non-mandatory appearance you don't have to go if you don't want to but if you wish to appear it's going to be at the price County Circuit Court there's no points estimated off your license but there is a deposit of 26550 so what I'm going to say is if you're not going to go to that court date pay that deposit uh before or on uh that court date not after otherwise they can suspend your license but honestly there's nothing wrong with going to the court date and going before the judge and say hey look yeah I'm 19 you know I just won this alcohol it was in my vehicle because you know I am transporting it whatever and I didn't know that I couldn't even transport it the judge may drop the citation I don't know man all right um so your information vehicle's information there's your
