What kind of medical history do you have? >> I don't know that I know of. >> Look at your date of birth. >> Her drama kept escalating like a bad sequel and the poor cops were stuck in a midnight loop of her chaos. Props to them for handling this kind of mess on the regular because not all heroes wear capes. Some wear body cams and infinite patience. >> I don't want to lose my lost my car. That's cuz you're excited right now. Rest now. I got you jealous. Please let me know. >> I got gloves. >> Everyone was there trying to calm her down. But the woman had other much nastier plans. If overreacting were a person, it would be embarrassed just watching her because she didn't just cross the line. Okay? >> However, no one stands above the law. Despite all her loud, embarrassing theatrics, she still had to face the DUI test. Like, ma'am, if this was inevitable, why put on a full-blown midnight soap opera? All that drama just to end up in the same cuff she tried so hard to dodge. >> Do you understand? You have any questions? >> You want me to face the pen? >> I want you to look at the tip of my pen. File it with your eyes. Don't move your head. Okay. But this woman brought full-on drama. She claimed she'd been through it before and just wanted it over. Honestly, the more she talked, the sketchier it got. Like, girl, it's just a sobriety test. Follow the pen, not battle it like it's a lightsaber duel. >> You understand? >> You show your dus. >> It's just a traffic ticket. Okay. But >> he's going to use against my son. That's the only thing. I don't give a [ __ ] about that. >> I don't know anything about your son. Okay. I can tell you it's just a traffic ticket. Okay. So, do me a favor. Put your right foot in front of your left with your hands down your side. >> Alexandria. [Applause] >> Six. >> No, I don't want to refuse. Because people lied to me. >> Listen, I promise you, worst case, you come with us, the police headquarters, right? You're going to blow in a box for us. It's going to give us a number. We're going to release you with some tickets and we'll drive you home. You live in Barnagate. You said you could walk home. Do you live here in Barnagate? >> Is there somebody who can sign a piece of paper saying you're not going to let get in a car? >> I'm sure Ramon would do it. >> That's what I'm saying. All right. This is how we determine whether or not >> Do a favor. Don't leave. I just try to talk is a series of tests. We can't force you to do the test, but if you don't leave, we'll have to make our determination on as to as whether we think you're intoxicated or not based off of what we see so far. Okay? So, it's up to you. I'm going to have Officer Burke explain it again. And if you want to do it, you can. And if you don't, we'll go from there. Okay. >> Okay. >> Fair. >> Okay. That's all I can ask. Put your right foot in front of your left, heel to toe. Your hands down at your side. All right. Maintain that position as best as you can until I explain the directions. Okay? Until I tell you to until I tell you to go. When I say go, not until I say go. You're going to take nine heel to toe steps in a straight line right down here. Okay? Counting out loud for each step. After nine steps, you're going to pivot on your front foot. Take a small series of steps to turn around. Take an additional nine heel totoe steps, counting out loud for each step to get back in your starting position. It's going to look like this. Watch. I'm going to demonstrate. Okay. Uh, it's going to be tough right here. I only have a little room, but I'll do it. Ready? One, two, three. I took three steps. You'll take nine. Pivot on your front foot. Take a small series of steps to turn around. One, two, three. I took three. You're going to take nine. >> Just be honest. I'm intoxicated. Just take me, please. >> Okay. Listen. >> Please take me. Just >> I want to give you a free shake. A fair shake. Okay. The cops were genuinely trying to help, but she was already spiraling like it was the series finale of her life. Please just take me. >> Okay. >> I already lost my rice. >> Are you Are you saying you don't want to do the test? >> I do want to, but I'm not going to do my best at it. >> That's okay. I just want you to do your best. Okay. So, listen. For this test, I want you to look down at your feet as you're walking. Count out loud for each step. Keep your hands down to your side. And if you step off the line, just step right back on and keep going. Okay? Do you understand? >> How many steps? >> Nine. Do you have any questions? >> Okay, you can begin whenever you'd like. >> One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine. Back. Correct. >> Yes, ma'am. Just as I instructed. One, two. You're going to keep your foot parallel to the ground. You're going to stare at the elevated foot and begin to count 1 1,000 2 1 3 100. You're going to continue in that manner until you until I tell you to stop. >> How do you say it again? >> 1 1 2 100 3 100 and so on. It's going to look like this. 1 100,00 2 100 3 100 Contin hold my feet is always saying >> just one foot in the air. Yep. Just like this. Foot parallel to the ground. Okay. When I tell you to say when I tell you stop, put your foot back down. Okay. For this test, I want you to stare at your elevated foot. Count out loud. As I said, keep your hands down at your side. And if your foot touches the ground, just pick it right back up. Okay. It's important to keep both legs straight the entire time. Okay. Do you have any questions? Keep the timer for me. Oh, never mind. I got it. You said 2 4,000. Correct. >> Keep going until I tell you to stop. >> Okay. >> Is it in my left or right? >> Whatever one you're comfortable with. Put your hands on top of your head and put your right hand back towards me. This hand. Keep this other hand on top of the head. After all her whining and the half-hearted attempts at the sobriety test, officers decided to make things easier for everyone by putting her in cuffs. Honestly, finishing the DUI process with her was the last possible outcome. At that point, handcuffs weren't just protocol, they were mercy. >> Uh, no, I'm going to talk to him. Do you have anything in your pockets, ma'am? >> Okay. How am I going to be in? >> You're just going to go with us to headquarters. You're going to blow inside of a box. You're going to come up. >> Uh do you mind walking her back to my car and putting her in there? >> It's the first one uh behind the car over there. >> I got to use the bathroom. >> Yeah, we'll bring you to headquarters. I'm sorry. >> Where's your son at? >> Thank you. >> I'm trying to get him back now. This just going to be on our support. >> What did my car What car did I hurt? >> This one right here. >> Which one? That one right there. >> That one? >> Yes, ma'am. >> How? It doesn't look damaged. >> Yeah, on the wheel. It is. See, you probably clipped it and uh that's what flipped you. >> No, >> we're going to go right around the back. >> Use the bathroom. I'm peeing myself. >> Well, we're going to the headquarters right now. We're going to use a bathroom. I don't have a bathroom out here, obviously, but I'll bring it headquarters. You can use one. Okay. Okay. >> We're going right now. >> Yes, sir. Right. Right here. >> Thank you. >> You're welcome. >> You're welcome. Even in cuffs, her brain was operating like it belonged to someone else. The lies kept flowing, and so did the excuses. Just when cops thought they'd heard it all, she pulled the VIP card, begging for mercy, like the toilet held the key to her freedom. >> Yeah. You're under arrest right now for driving under the influence. My suspicion of that. You're going to go to headquarters. I'm going to read you some forms. you're going to have the opportunity to blow inside of a um an alcohol test machine and then you're going to be released. >> Well, driving under the influence is is uh considered a um is technically illegal. >> Yeah. For once the car is flipped. If you see her cell phone um if you can grab it and insurance info, please. 41. >> What's the name? Sorry. Yeah, for me stupid. [Music] [Music] Warning 46. >> 103 51592 is ending. Her mouth was still running in the backseat of the patrol car like she was auditioning for a role in Law and Disorder delusional Edition. Like, who keeps yapping when it's already game over? Most people tap out. But this woman, maybe she really thought she was the exception. Dispatch, I'm sorry I missed that weed. [Music] [Music] >> Alexander, what's your date of birth? >> Texas. I don't want to be here. >> I'm sure. Come on, you can come out. I'll help you. What's your date of birth, Alexandria? I don't know. I have no one out here. It's not fair to me. >> Come on and step out. Go ahead. I don't want you to fall. I got your room. What's your date of birth? >> I need you back. >> Sure. I'm going to take you right now. >> I need you back. >> Yep. I'm going to take you right now. [Music] You can stop right there. Why aren't you going to do a search on you here so I can bring you right to the bathroom? Okay. I know. >> I just got to check. Stay right here. I'm going to take your cuffs off so I can You can go to the bathroom. Okay. top. Sorry. >> All right. You want to go right here? >> This the second door on the left. Right here. >> Right here. >> Yes, ma'am. >> You going to be right here? >> I'm going to be right here. >> Okay. Thank you. You're welcome. >> So sorry. By the time the woman reached the police station, she launched into another round of tears, but the cops weren't buying it. The only urgent matter they acknowledged was her bladder. So before the paperwork, they let her make a pit stop because nobody wants a wet booking photo. >> My babies. I'm sorry, sorry, baby. I'm sorry. just want to feel that pain anymore. I'm sorry [Music] to save me. [Music] Why are you so >> Come on, Alexandria. I want my babies. >> I'm okay. I'm going to come out in a second, please. >> I just need to wash my hands. >> Okay. [Music] [Music] All right. Right down here. Go straight. It's okay. >> Keep going straight. See the door that officer just went in? You're going to go in that same door. Right in here. >> See the tile changes color right there on the floor. Just stand right in that box for me right there for one second. Yep. Just stay right there. >> Huh? >> How many kids do you have? >> I can't deal with it. Let me pick a different topic. All right. Go ahead. Right in. Yes, sir. >> Face that middle cell. Can I open it up for you? You're going to have a seat right in there for me. Okay. >> After realizing there was no turning back, she started bombarding the officer with questions like a toddler on a sugar rush. Repeating the same things over and over like it would magically change the outcome. Hats off to the officer who stayed calm like a kindergarten teacher on their 10th why of the day. >> You do me a favor and pop your shoes off and just kick them out to me. Good. Thank you. >> Thank you. Hey, Sergeant. All right. [Applause] [Music] Do you have my phone yet? >> I do not know yet. They are still flipping the car over. It's going to take a few minutes. >> Tolls or cops? >> I'm sorry. >> Is it a toll or a cops? >> Tolls? What do you mean? >> Is it tolls or cops that's pulling it over? a tow truck. Yeah, they're probably throwing it over. like what? How long am I going to be in here for? about a half hour, maybe 40 minutes, not more. >> And then they'll let me go. >> Mhm. >> So, what are you going to charge me for? So, at least I know. So, I know, you know, I can explain to the courts like, you know. >> Mhm. It's going to be a driving under the influence. >> So, DUI, >> that's going to go on record. How does that work? >> I never got a DUI. So, >> no problem. It's a traffic offense, so it goes on your traffic history >> unless I talk to the court about it. Correct. Yeah, unless you work something out in court, right? >> Have I been cooperating with y'all? >> Yeah, I'll put that in my report. Okay. >> Okay. Please. >> I think in Texas right now >> in Texas, I think a DUI is a criminal offense. It's not >> I don't know. Texas I drove. >> It's not in New Jersey. >> I did 101 and it was 65. So, I don't know, you know. >> Yeah, they >> they knew I wasn't drunk, you know. >> Oh, okay. >> They never did a test on me cuz they knew I wasn't drunk. Speculous spit. >> Do you have a middle initial? Is it Nicole? >> Correct. >> I just need my phone cuz it's the only thing that I have to contact, buddy. I don't know anybody from here. >> No, I understand. >> Just myself. >> I know Ramon and his family, so I can always reach out to Raone directly if I need to. >> What have they said about it? Meanwhile, the cops were kneedeep in paperwork and digging into her family history, trying to piece together the full picture. The goal to make everything crystal clear so they could take the right steps with the right charges according to the law. Every messy detail helped tighten the case, one fact at a time. >> Raone gently, not just his father, but just in general. >> What do you mean? >> What have they said in general? >> Nothing. I've been talking about you. I'm just saying I know. Oh, look. I have stuff over my head. My hat. Um, you know, if I I know where he lives, if I need to get a hold of him more. I think we have his cell phone. >> Do they want or no? >> I don't know. >> With Raone or with or with you? >> Just Raone cuz that's the only I'm in a relationship with him. I'm not a relationship with his family. >> Right. That makes sense. Barney at 4 and 6 10 53. >> Hey, uh, Summer, is you back there? >> Yeah. Can you have him the give me the first battery on the charger? >> Yeah, my my radio just died. [Music] Car. >> So, you're telling me after one hit my car flipped? >> Mhm. If you hit it just right, that'll happen. >> So, after one hit, it can make your car flip. >> Yeah. depending on how fast you're going. Do you want me to plug that one? >> Yeah. Can you? Thank you so much. >> Bing four and six. >> Sorry about that. Uh, whoever's on desk four is showing that they're in the report and I can't edit it. Can you have them back out? I have a question. Was he injured or no? Or is it morely me? >> No problem. Thank you. I'm sorry, ma'am. What was that? >> Was it mostly him? Me injury more than him? >> Yes. Yeah, he was fine. >> That's phone number. >> Thank you so much. Can you just rip that off for me or do you need >> I'll rewrite it for you. >> Okay. What was that? >> Yeah. He's going to come pick you up. >> He said that. >> Mhm. I'm sorry. I >> understand. I'm just scared. >> I'm not scared to go in jail cuz I've been through >> Alexander. Are you Hispanic? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. What's your telephone number? >> Um, I don't know. I got a a new number. So, I know I had a 2110 from San Antonio, but I got a new number, so I don't want to lie to you. Okay. I never drink like this. >> Moment by moment, the woman started to realize what was really coming for her. The more she panicked, the more that bold attitude she had right after the accident completely faded out. What started as loud defiance slowly crumbled into quiet regret because reality has a way of humbling even the loudest voices. Do >> I get a DUI? Uh, >> I didn't write it yet. What's your name again? >> Officer Burke. And >> when do you work? Just night shifts. >> Uh, yeah. >> How do you know he's going to come get me? >> He said he was. >> Oh, I love him so much. So, Alexander, >> is my car drivable? Can you just be honest? >> No, no, >> no. It's on It's clipped, right? So, even if I'm not saying it's total, I'm just saying it's not drivable right now cuz you cracked your windshield and everything, right? >> No, I'm asking you. Is it But is it drivable in general? Just regardless, >> I don't know if it's total or not, but you can't drive it right now cuz the windshield's cracked and everything. >> And what else is cracked? That's just it. >> I don't know. I didn't I didn't really look through your car that it was still on its roof, so I'm not sure. >> Sorry. >> No problem. Alexander, I'm gonna ask you a bunch of questions. Okay, sir. >> Are you sick? >> No. >> Are you under the care of a doctor? >> No. >> Are you taking medicine? >> No. >> Do you have diabetes? >> No. >> Are you taking insulin? >> What's that? >> Insulin for diabetes? >> No, not. >> Are you injured? >> No. Are your injuries affecting you in any way? >> No, sir. >> Can you just please find my phone, please? >> Yeah, they're trying right now. >> That's the only thing I got. >> I understand. I got to keep my poor sweat. I have to keep my son tomorrow. >> I understand. >> This is my son. >> I'm going to read something. >> I can't fight there. My son know >> I'm going to read something to you. Okay. >> This is important. You have the right to remain silent and refuse to answer any questions. Anything you say can and may be used against you in the court of law. You have the right to consult an attorney at any time. Have him or her present before or during questioning. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be provided if you so desire prior to any questioning. A decision to wave these rights is not final. You may withdraw your waiver whenever you wish, either before or during questioning. Do you understand your rights as I have explained them? >> Yes. >> Okay. With those rights in mind, I have a bunch of other questions. Are you willing to answer them? Okay. How what kind of alcoholic drinks have you had tonight? >> Four loco. >> Four loco. How many did you have? >> One and a half. >> Where did you drink those at? >> I drank one at the house when I was parked on their property >> at Ramon's house. >> The officer kept the investigation smooth and clear, unfazed by the woman's emotional meltdown. It's really hard to stay that composed when chaos is unfolding inches away. And that's what reminds us just how tough it is to be in a cop's shoes. Calm under pressure isn't just a skill. It's survival. >> That's it that I remember. >> Where did you have the other one? >> On the same property. >> Same property. Um, and how much uh time did you have between each drink? >> I don't remember. >> Do you know what time you had your first drink? >> I don't remember. Sorry. >> Do you know what time you had your last drink? What time is it? >> It is 11:02. >> I don't remember. Sorry. >> Okay. Um, do you know what did you last eat? >> About 7 something. >> Uh, seven. And what did you eat? >> I ate like um like a stew with beef and like potatoes. >> Beef stew. I can't do this. I [Music] All right, I got one. I got another one to read to you. Okay, this one's a little long. Okay, this one's a little long. You have been arrested for driving while intoxicated NJSA 394-50. >> You said, "How have I ever got arrested?" >> No, you I'm going to read something to you. Okay. >> You have been arrested for driving while intoxicated NJSA 394-50. The law requires you to to submit samples of your breath for content. A record of the taking of the breath samples, including the test results, will be made. Upon your request, a copy of that record will be made available to you. If you refuse to provide samples of your breath, you'll be issued a separate summon for the refusal. A court may find you guilty of both refusal and driving while intoxicated. If a court finds you guilty of the refusal, you'll be subject subject to various penalties, including license revocation of up to 20 years, a fine of up to $2,000, installation of an ignition interlock, and referral to an intoxicating driving resource center. These penalties may be in addition to penalties imposed by the court for any other offense of which you are found guilty. You have no legal right to have an attorney, physician, or anyone else present for the purpose of taking the breath samples. You have no legal right to refuse to give or delay giving samples of your breath. Any response from you that is ambiguous or conditional in any respect to my request that you provide breath samples will be treated as a refusal to submit the breath testing. Even if you agree to take the test, but then do not follow my instructions, do not properly perform the test, or do not provide sufficient breath samples, I will charge you with refusal to submit to breath testing. Standby. I repeat, the law requires you to submit samples of your breath for testing. Will you submit the samples of your breath? You have to say it out loud. >> Yes. >> Without missing a beat, the officer laid out the key details to the woman, ensuring that any lie she tried to spin would bounce right back in her face. And the woman, finally realizing the weight of it all, did show her first glimpse of something close to accountability, or at least the fear of real consequences. >> That means that right now, >> uh, yes, I'm going to do it in about 10 minutes. >> Well, um, right now >> I have good news for you. He just told me that he found your cell phone. >> Okay. So cute. I need that. >> Hey, do you do you know do you have insurance on your cell phone for your car? >> I was working to get insurance for my car. >> So you don't have insurance on the car? >> Yes, but I was working to get my insurance cuz I do Door Dash. So I have to work to get my insurance. >> Gotcha. But currently you do not have insurance. >> Currently. >> Okay. I was working, like I said, I was working to get my insurance. I have to work to get my insurance. >> Understood. This is too much for me. [Music] I have a question. >> Born, who is my uh toe company? Hold on one second. I'm sorry. >> Thank you. All right. What's your question? I'm sorry. >> I said, "So, who's helping me?" Getting me not getting me out, but who's helping me? >> Ramon's going to come pick you up. >> Do I look badly beat up? >> Do you What? I'm sorry. >> Can you be honest with me? You're a police officer. You should be honest, right? >> What's your question? >> Do I look badly beat up? >> You look like you have blood in your face. That's what I I keep telling you. >> What about him? Was he all right? >> He was totally fine. >> He was That's all I care about. >> He's okay. I just want my own. >> So, let me let me get this clear with you. See, you're honest as you say, right? You're not lying to me, right? Cuz people lie to me and I don't like that. Should I be honest with you, right? >> I'm being very honest. >> So, what do I try? DUI, >> driving while intoxicated, >> a reckless driving cuz that goes with the DUI. >> So, how much does that charging? >> I don't know. That's all t that all figures out in court. You'll get some type of ticket for the accident. I got to look at it. And if you don't have insurance on your car, you get a ticket for that as well. >> Yeah, I know. I went in Texas. I know. >> Yep. >> Well, Texas, they let me go. They gave me a warning. I know. >> Okay. Um, but you got into an accident, right? So, I can't do that in this case. Yeah, correct. You know, um, so that those will be your tickets. >> Have you talked to the people of the owner or No, >> of the other car. Yes. Mhm. >> What they say about it? >> I I didn't talk to one of the other officers did. >> What they say about it? >> I don't know. I didn't talk to him. I'm sorry. This is your fault. You had a choice to be so yours. [Applause] So, it's totally correct. >> I don't know. I'm not a ad a joster, so I'm not sure. >> The more the cop spoke, the more her fear of going to jail heightened, layered with a sprinkle of playing the victim card. But the law doesn't deal in tears or theatrics. It deals in facts. And in that moment, no amount of soba stories could rewrite the reality she drove herself into. >> Your car flipped over. Would it be total or would it still be drivingable? >> Man, you probably honestly You're from Texas. You probably know more about cars than I do. I'm going to be honest with you. I know nothing about cars. >> You're from New Jersey, right? >> Yeah. Life? >> Yeah. Whole life? >> Well, I don't know. I've never been in an accident like that. I used to speed, but I never been in an accident like that. >> I have. I I honestly I don't. Not even on a [ __ ] highway on >> you. Never been to Have you ever been in an accident? >> Like on a stop sign, but not like highway or anything like that. >> Yeah. Yeah, I understand. Nothing big. >> Like I'm trying to cooperate y'all. I'm trying to work with y'all. You know, I'm trying to go. >> You've been great so far. I really appreciate it. I really do. >> But doesn't doesn't make the excuse I'm going through doesn't make an excuse or anything cuz actions have consciousness. Correct. >> It's true. >> Correct. So, I'm not >> I appreciate it. >> You do what me you do with me, man. >> My first rodeo. You know what I mean? >> I really do appreciate it. >> You definitely don't know your telephone number, right? Your new one. >> Um, no. I don't license. >> Okay, it's fine. I'll get it when I when it gets >> Yeah, I got a new number. I had a 21 number 20 number, but I don't know what it is anymore. >> Gotcha. All right. uh deactivating for breath samples. All right. Go ahead. So, she needs a sign here and here. Pretty much one's my copy, one's your copy. Pretty much what you're saying is you're taking responsibility over her. You're going to make sure she doesn't drive for the next 12 hours. >> All right. That's your copy there. This copy is mine. Uh her car was impounded. She needs to come 12 hours in 12 hours to get her uh released to get her car released. So 12 hours from the arrest is about 11:00 a.m. tomorrow. Um she can come in tomorrow uh tomorrow and uh get a tow release from here. It'll tell her where her car is and she can go pick it up. >> Pick it up or does she have to pay for it to get out? >> She has to pay for it to get out. All right. Uh give me like 5 minutes and I'll have her out to you. All right, y'all ready? You ready? Let's go. >> There's your shoes. [Applause] You want to just carry him? >> Yeah. Okay. Okay. Am I okay with that? >> Hm. >> Am I okay with that? >> Yeah, sure. >> Straight out there. Take a right. >> Her alca test showed a back of 0.195%. More than double the legal limit of 0.08%. After officers wrapped up processing, Alexandra was released to her boyfriend Ramon, who signed the potential liability warning form on her behalf. It might have felt like a free pass, but let's be real. The countdown to accountability had officially begun, and it won't be pretty. >> Oh, sorry. >> Oh, here's your cell phone. >> Sorry. Okay. >> Here's your cell phones. >> Okay. >> Those are both in the car. >> Thank you. You're welcome. >> What about my ID? >> That was all I could find in the car. >> [ __ ] I need my ID. [ __ ] >> You can get it tomorrow though. Just come on out. >> I have to go to a place to get it. >> Yeah. Come out here. I'll explain it in front of my own so I don't have to explain twice. >> I don't have to say anything. >> Uh I You don't have to talk to your toe company about that. So, I explained it to Ramon already. Um but I'll explain it again to you. Come on out. Um, you have uh right here. Just want to close the door. You have um you have to wait 12 hours to get a tow release on your car. So, anything time after about 11:00 a.m. tomorrow, you can come into here and I'll give you the tow release that you need to go get your car. It'll have the address of where it is. You can go talk to them, get anything you need out of the car, >> just anything not pay for a car. >> You're going to have to pay whatever the tow company charges. I don't know what that is. These are your summones that I told you about. Okay? And uh your court dates on there. If you have any questions, just call next door and they'll tell you about your court dates and everything. Okay. >> Thank you. >> All right. Have a good night. >> Thank you. >> Hey, Ramon. She was checked out on scene with her nose and everything, but if she wants to go to the hospital, I mean, she might have to. If you guys need medical or ambulance, just let us know. But I think uh she refuses on scene. So, just But as she soers up, it might become, you know, more painful for her. All right. Have a good night. And that's how a night that started with bad decisions ended with a cold, hard reality check. For those thinking breaking the law is just a game, surprise. It can come with a broken nose, a bruised ego, and a mandatory sleepover behind bars. She was issued multiple citations, including operating under the influence, reckless and careless driving, operating an unregistered vehicle, and lacking liability insurance. Court records show that Alexandra's troubles didn't end there. She was later arrested for her second DWI in Barnagut Township on October 25th, 2024 and again for a third DWI in Bordontown Township on February 22nd, 2025.
