Hey guys, on July 11th, 2024, a wife goes to her husband's workplace to start a big fight because they're sad and they want to live apart. She hits him right in the chest and screams very loud at the police officers who come to help. >> I will say he is the most manipulative forever. He has done everything. >> You don't ever say anything about the video. You don't ever say >> Do you not Oh, okay. Then you would know that a female hangs on to a video. >> Watch. Resist arrest. >> Put your hands behind your back. Put your hands back. >> Are you kidding >> Put your hands up. >> Why did this lady get super angry and try to run away from police? She yelled about her lawyer and made a huge messy scene in the parking lot. Well, let's watch right now to find out how this crazy story ends. >> So, uh So, my wife uh came and she's had two two DUIs and she's uh relaxed and drinking again. >> 10-4. >> When she drinks, she gets aggressive. I believe she's been drinking now as she came to my workplace. Um I asked her to step outside cuz she's getting aggressive and when I stepped outside, she hit me. She continued to hit me, so I called you guys. >> Okay. All right. >> She's uh she got in her car and I believe she's been drinking. >> Okay. Do you have her license plate? >> Yeah, I do. Uh not on me. I have >> Okay. You're good. You're fine. You're fine. So, where was she hit you at? >> Uh around the back of the >> No, I'm saying like um like face? >> No, on the chest. >> On the chest? Are you mind if I >> Actually hit me right here. >> Mind if I see your uh >> Yeah, I can see it. It didn't really leave a mark. It wasn't >> how um how long have you you've been married to her? >> Seven years. >> Seven years? Okay. And she was drinking? >> She wasn't drinking here. I believe she has been drinking. >> Okay. Um >> I think you guys should give her a breathalyzer. >> What was the argument over? >> Um we're working on a trial separation and uh she just texted me at work about it. It's the arguments are really because she drinks. >> And you work here? >> I did. >> Okay. >> I was up there with two employees. >> Okay. Um yeah, cameras inside or it wasn't inside. It >> No, there's no cameras in the office. >> Okay, but it was on the side of the building where she hit you? >> in the back. >> 10-4. >> You scared me. >> All right, just stay right here for me. >> Thank you for your service. >> Okay, thank you. Excuse me, ma'am. >> Walking out. >> I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Give me just one second. Excuse me, ma'am. Ma'am, can I talk to you? >> No, I actually >> I need you to just hold tight just hold tight for me, okay? >> I have friends inside, so I'd rather you talk to them. >> But I I'm going to need to talk to you. >> No, it's fine, but I'd rather you talk to >> Poppa 3017 and Poppa Poppa 3014 and Poppa 3017. >> I have friends inside. >> Okay. Just stay right here for me. Can you step outside? >> Can you talk to them, please? >> I'm going to talk to you. Now, now just just stay right here for me, okay? >> No, no. He's already labeled as abusive. >> Okay. Step back. >> Oh, girl. She really showed up at his job ready to rumble. Let's suppose for a second driving to your husband's office just to throw hands over a text message. There's always that one person who thinks that they can do whatever they want without any rules. Well, she really thought naming random police numbers would save her from talking to the cops. Hilarious. >> Step back for me over here. >> Please stop doing this. >> I'm just trying to get y'all separated, okay? >> I have friends inside who can attest to everything that he is saying and tight. >> Okay. Well, listen, we'll get to that in due time, okay? >> No, please stop. I'm not >> Stop what? I'm here to help. >> No, you're not. Oh my god, because I have an attorney who says that you're not here to help. >> Why would I not be here to help? >> Can you please call Carol? >> I'm not going to call him right now. I need to you for a second. >> a him, it's a her. >> Sorry, then I won't. >> is Carol. Please call her. >> All right. >> This is ours. What? >> Do you have an ID? >> In my car, yes. >> Okay. All right. Explain to me what's happening here. Why Why are we here? >> That is my husband. >> Okay, husband. There you go. >> My husband, please please contact an attorney. >> I will contact her. >> No, I don't need to tell you what's happening. I'm not going to. You need to know that he is the most manipulative tool ever. He has called DCF. He has done everything. >> Okay. >> Please stop. Please, DCF is actually making a case against him. >> For what? >> Right now. >> For what? >> For abuse. >> For abuse on >> me. >> Okay. Why would DCF have an abuse or a case on you? >> Because he keeps calling DCF and he has no proof. >> So, why are you still with him then? >> Do you know anything about abuse? >> Mhm. >> Or no? Do you Do you not know anything about abuse? >> every [ __ ] >> Do you not Oh, okay. Then you would know that a female hangs on to abuse. >> A personal choice? >> It's treason. It is not personal choice. >> Well, we're going to find out when we when we find these security cameras, we're going to take a look at exactly what happened. >> I love that for you. >> I love that for you. >> Yeah. So, just hang tight. >> Oh my god. >> Answer his questions and we'll go from there. Okay? >> been answering his questions. He's being >> Fantastic. Keep doing that then. >> You don't need to be a smart >> You don't need to be dumb at >> No, I'm going to walk away because I'm not being held I'm not being held against my will. Please stop. I have my attorney, Carol. I will have her contact you. He is a problem. He has already been reported as a problem. He has actually been arrested for domestic violence. >> Now Carol to the rescue. She's really trying every single trick in the book to avoid answering simple questions. Girl, you mad. Walking away from police officers like they're just joking around is wild. And expecting the cops to drop everything to call her lawyer is pure comedy. >> on his part, not mine. I am so sorry that this is happening. >> No, ma'am. >> No, I'm actually going to walk away. >> You are temporarily detained at this time. No, you're not. What you're going to do is you're going to put your hands behind your back. Do not resist. >> No. >> back. >> Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? >> No, like that. >> What is happening? What? I'm not. I'm not. I AM NOT. WHAT ARE YOU DOING? I AM NOT. >> We told you what to do and you did not listen. >> WHAT ARE YOU DOING? I DID NOT. I NEVER ONCE NOT LISTENED. EVER. >> All right. This one's pregnant one wanted to feel tight. >> I never not listened. Ever. >> Stop. >> Face the wall. Face the wall. >> I never not listened. What are you doing? >> You pulled away from us and you tried to walk away after we told you YOU'RE NOT >> NO, I SAID MY ATTORNEY would step in. >> Yeah, he's going to after this. >> She. She. >> Okay. They. >> Please stop calling her a him. It's a she. >> All right. Put her in the car. Yep. >> 10-4. >> I have not done anything wrong. I have not done anything wrong. I have not done anything wrong. >> You want to pat her down? >> Yes. I'll do that if y'all want to grab her purse and stuff. >> Okay. Yes. Absolutely. >> I have not done anything wrong. I don't have anything in my hands. All right, I'm off to the car. Okay, I'm going to I'm going to pat you down so I can do a quick search of you. >> please search my leggings. I have nothing. >> All right, the reason I'm doing this is because I'm a female and you're a female. We don't want to have any issues with that. >> Oh my god, this is my ex-husband making me do this. >> Do you have anything on you? >> This would have went a lot different. >> No, this is my ex-husband making me do this. >> Listen, do you have anything on you? >> No, I have nothing. I would never >> Do you have anything illegal? >> illegal. Oh my god, no. >> Can you spread your feet? >> Never. I would never. >> Let's scratch your back. >> I would never. I would never. I love that you guys are on his side. >> Stop moving. Stop moving. >> Face the car. Oh my god, I'm facing the car. >> Put your hands behind your back. Face on the ground. >> I don't make the small talk. >> I I don't care. >> Put your feet. PUT YOUR FEET. >> I DON'T CARE. >> There's nothing to be afraid of. We're just doing our job. >> Funny, because didn't you just say this? >> She really thought she could just walk away from the police like nothing was happening. Finally, reality sets in as the cuffs come out. Arguing that you never disobeyed an officer while actively pulling away is peak comedy. But sure, blame the ex-husband for your own choices. >> I would never. I would never. >> Okay, okay. >> I would never. I would never. I would never. I have six kids. I would never. He's even had me taking care of his own six kids. I would never. I would never. I would never. I would never ever. Are you serious? I would never. I want to call my mom, please. Or my attorney, please. Can I please call my attorney? >> You get an opportunity. >> No, I know your little opportunity is. No. I didn't do anything wrong. I didn't do anything wrong. >> Okay. >> Hey, so we're we're talking or I was talking with one of the reps in there. She's supposed to be getting us access to the cameras so we find out exactly what happened. >> Okay, because he was telling me that >> in the alleyway or or in a in a back. That's what >> Oh, it happened in the back? >> Yeah, where she parked at. That's where she parked >> so that's where it actually happened is back there? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> He went He's an employee. He had to go back in, but he's coming right back out. I already got a sworn from him. >> So, what what happened >> Yeah, what exactly happened? >> So, she didn't tell us anything. >> She didn't say anything. >> All right, so >> She came here being loud to his at his place of work saying that she was going to embarrass him. so he actually stepped outside. She became loud and irate and she they walked back here and he said that she pushed him twice and punched him in the chest with an open hand. >> Not the I would never speech on repeat. Bringing up having six kids right after trying to run from the cops is definitely a choice. Why she really thought crying about it would magically make the handcuffs disappear. But now the officers are putting all the pieces together with your security cameras and her story is falling completely apart hilariously. >> She like palm strike him? >> Yeah. I mean, I didn't see >> She's also saying that she's got friends here that will testify everything that he did, but she won't elaborate on what he did other than being manipulative and whatever she wanted to call him. >> He was calling DCF on her and that DCF's working a case on her on her? >> Yeah, he said they're going through like some kind of separation. Uh, could it have been like for several years? Some kind of separation trial. >> That that they're going through. >> Okay. >> That's what I'm just >> Okay. >> It just didn't make sense about the DCF stuff. >> Yeah, usually they don't get involved >> how does she end up how does she end up in the car? >> Well, because we told her that she's going to hang tight and she goes, "No, I'm leaving." I said, "No, you're not. You're legally staying here." >> That's why I asked y'all to let me step outside because I had both of them, so >> Yeah, you're fine. She turned She turned >> in to walk away from >> Yeah, she walked back in. >> What? >> So, she said that she wasn't going to stay put. >> No, yeah. She She tried to walk off the stairs. That's when I told her, "No, you are temporarily now temporarily detained." Hauser went to go grab her, pulled her back, she snatched away and that's when we just said >> He also said something about her possibly drinking. He said he didn't see her drink. >> I can smell it on her. But we didn't we don't have any kind of real Do we have real witnesses? Do we have anything to say? >> Besides him, no. Uh, they were saying this is all hearsay. I mean, they heard that something that it was a domestic issue going on. Yeah, but they said it's not his fault. But I just know >> One of the employees is stating that there are cameras there for you. >> Okay. >> Well, they're also stating that they there's actually no cameras in the back facing like that parking lot where it happened. So >> That's true. >> If memory serves, there's at least one that points in that direction. I don't know if it's functional or if you have video footage of this, but >> Can you just look at the text messages? >> All right, give me just a second, okay? >> Can you please just look at the text messages? >> okay? I'm going to go and read you something, okay? >> No, can you please look at the text messages? >> Before we move any further, let me read you something, okay? >> Are you kidding me? I am in pain. My wrists hurt. He has told me all along he will help me in all of this. >> Okay. Okay, just give me just a second, okay? >> is involved. Can you please call DCF? Please call them. >> Uh now she's trying to make everyone look at her phone instead of dealing with the trouble she caused. Expecting the cops to stop everything and read private messages right in the middle of an arrest is wild. >> Can you please call DCF? >> Give me just a second. >> No, please call them. >> He said um he just said near where she parked and I'm guessing it's the gravel parking lot. >> Okay, we'll find out. >> Can you please call DCF? >> have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in court. >> don't know what I've done. >> the right to have an attorney with you prior to, during, or after any questioning. If you cannot afford an attorney or and desire one, the >> anything. What have >> will appoint one for you. >> I have not done anything. What have I done? >> You may stop the questioning. You may stop the questioning at any time by refusing to answer further or by requesting to consult with your attorney. Do you understand? >> what I did. >> Do you understand these rights that >> Please tell me what I did. >> Do you understand >> No, I don't understand them. >> Having these rights in mind Having these rights in mind >> Please tell me what I did. >> Do you wish to answer any questions or make statement? >> I am asking you what I did. >> Do you wish to >> I am asking you, yes. What did I do? >> So, you understand what I've explained to you. Yes or no? >> No. Because what did you do? Do you know that DCF has him under investigation? Do you know that? Do you know that? >> Can you listen to me? Before we move any further, can you listen to me, please? >> Do you know that he has him under investigation? I'M TRYING TO WORK WITH YOU, OKAY? >> He has a lot of money. You're not. >> Okay? >> You're not. >> So, you don't wish to any answer any questions? >> I am asking you, do you know what DCF has discovered? >> Before we move any further >> Do you know what DCF has discovered? Please answer me. >> Move your foot. >> Please, just answer me. >> Move your foot. >> Please. >> Before we move any further >> I just want to go home. >> Okay, and I'm trying to work with you. >> to be with him. I don't want to be with him. >> You're being uncooperative. >> I'm not. I don't want to be with him. >> Help me, help me, okay? >> Please, I don't want to be with him. >> Help me, help you, okay? I'm I'm going to read this one more time, and then we're going to we're going to talk. >> Oh my god, it just feels like >> Okay? >> Will you please listen to me for 5 >> I'm trying You're not listening to me. >> I know. I know. Can you listen to me for 5 5 seconds? >> Pretending not to understand simple words just because you don't like the situation is honestly exhausting. And refusing to cooperate while demanding that everyone drop everything to listen to your endless complaints makes zero sense. >> DCF has claimed him to be abusive. Okay? You are arresting me to me. They already claimed him to be the abuse of person. This is where the law and reality don't match up. Please know that if you go Carol Gold what oh she will tell you what what he's done. It's typical oh and he was actually arrested for 5 years for domestic violence. That's what he did and got it erased, okay? Please. I'm just ask Please go get Carol Go Please please Please >> Okay. All right, well he has some paperwork for you. >> So this is a victim's rights card for you that just has a little bit of literature on all your rights. Pretty self-explanatory. It talks about a phone number and stuff like that. It has a victim's advocate that you should call. >> Um it also has Officer Brighton has she taken the primary? >> Or is >> Uh I think Reuben is. >> Okay. >> Did she drive home or >> Say again? >> Did she drive away or >> No, she's still here. >> Okay. >> Um so yeah, it's got Officer Brighton's information on here as well as the case number for you. Um now >> Please go Carol Go >> We're going to get to that, but I need you to listen to me, okay? >> Okay. I know that >> Also, I'm going to read this again. Okay? You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in court. You have the right to have an attorney with you prior to, during, or after the questioning. >> for an attorney. >> Okay. >> I'm asking for Carol Please. >> Also, bringing up a secret attorney and shouting wild accusations about erased criminal history won't make the handcuffs vanish. Mentioning lawyer Carol every single minute is not going to change the fact that you threw punches at your husband's workplace. >> All right, so I have some questions for you, okay? All right, has your partner ever threatened to kill you or use a weapon against you or your children? >> Um, a weapon, no. >> Has she ever threatened to kill you? >> Well, about the other Yeah, multiple times. >> Multiple times? Can you elaborate on that? >> Um, well, she's a drinker, so when she gets to drinking, she normally makes lots of threats and and uh is very aggressive. She's physically violent when she drinks. I don't know if her threats to kill me are not serious. >> You don't believe she'll follow through with it? Has your partner ever strangled, choked you? If so, was your breathing restricted? >> Yes. >> Did both of them? >> Yes. >> Can you elaborate on that? >> Um, well, that the back when she was drinking heavily before the the latest DUI, cuz she checked into Lakeview and uh after the last DUI and she was in there for 8 weeks. And then after she got out, there was a period of her not drinking at all and she was doing better. Um, only in the last month has she started to drink again. She she has been aggressive in those times, but not to the point where she had been previously. >> Mhm. >> Um, before she got her second DUI, uh there would have been multiple times where she's, you know, tried to strike me or I mean, I'm bigger than her, so it's not like she can stop me, but usually she puts all her weight into me and uses her arms and her legs and um, she bites, she pulls hair, um, she does whatever she can to hurt me. Okay. So, I have had to call the police over the years. And lately, since she's been drinking and driving, um on two other occasions, she's been too drunk to drive and has gotten in the car and I've called the police, but uh you know, you you guys didn't catch her. So, >> Got you. >> it keeps on happening. >> I got you. All right, so does your partner have any access to firearms or weapons? >> No. >> Listening to him explain the full story about her drinking and violent habits is super heavy. You know, hearing that, how long he tried to cover for her and keep things together, just makes you realize how deeply exhausting living in that cycle really is. >> Has your partner ever attempted to or threatened to commit suicide? >> Yes, and I I did report that. We She had an open DCF investigation and I reported that to DCF. DCF said no. >> Yeah. Is it not ongoing anymore? >> She has She hasn't done that since I mean, she had done it in front of the kids and made a scene. Um I coach my uh 6-year-old soccer team and I was about to take her to soccer when she was making these threats. She was making them in front of the kids and uh then she wouldn't let me take her to soccer and it was the first practice and we had called her mom to intervene and then we had called DCF as well, but this making threats in front of the children. When DCF came to our house the first time, I wasn't the one that called it. It was her. Her ex-husband that called it cuz we had We shared two kids. And we reported DCF, but they said they couldn't really do anything about it. >> So, there there was not an investigating or an active ongoing investigation with DCF? >> There is again. I have >> There is again. Okay, so there's another one. >> There's an active one now. I reported reported her drinking and driving again with the kids in in car and anytime DCF comes out, she tells the story that it's a domestic thing and that they do that it has nothing to do with kids, which is not true because you know, honestly, I had covered up for for a long time hoping that she would get better. The DCF explained no, you can't do that. You're putting children in harm. You have to report them. So, I've been doing what I'm told. But, then DCF doesn't do anything with the information. >> Can I get a photo? >> Sir, there's a lot of factors that go into that kind of stuff and they There's a lot more check boxes that they have to do that we don't have to do. We can just do what we need to do, but there's a lot more that they have. So, I you got to bear with it, unfortunately. It's kind of just one of those things. >> Did you have >> I mean, it's probably not even read anymore. It still looks a little bit >> I'm going to take a full body. Let me see her hands. She As of right now, she's being transported to the >> She'll have a court appearance tomorrow morning. >> Okay. >> Obviously, you can't bond her out. There'd be a a no contact order. >> Yes. >> So, if she shows up to the house, she will be in violation of the no contact order, probably she if she makes bail. >> Okay. Did you guys do a breathalyzer on her? >> So, we're just we're trying to work through that right now with our senior officers and our supervisors to figure out what they want to do with that cuz we have no real witnesses other than cameras and we don't know if that can play a factor into that. >> She on probation? >> Uh I I don't know what it's called. She She has a trial in uh August. >> But, you don't know if she has any actual probation? >> She had a DUI. She Her license was restricted and then she regained her license. So, she doesn't have any restrictions now. >> Those poor kids having to grow up in the middle of constant shouting and drinking and police visits is heartbreaking. Watching adults act so reckless while little ones suffer the damage makes you realize how unfair life can be for innocent children caught in such a toxic home. >> [snorts] >> Why is he not in trouble? Sir, please answer me. Why is he not in trouble? >> You said why is he not in trouble? >> Yes. DCFS already marked him as belligerent. This is what he does. Why are you guys not talking to DCF? Why? >> Give me just 1 second, okay? >> Please talk to them. Please. Please talk to DCF so that you know what he does. This has been ongoing. Please. >> Copy that. 14 St. Johns. >> Copy that. 14. >> 10-51 at CJ with one semi-cooperative whiskey foxtrot. The female subject is being uncooperative. >> 10-4. >> Spending just one night behind bars didn't teach her a single thing because she came right back out ready to point fingers at everyone else, refusing to accept reality while demanding the officers investigate her husband instead of her own actions. It's just unbelievable. And from a legal standpoint, the moment she struck her husband in the chest during that angry confrontation, she crossed the line into a criminal offense. Legally speaking, unwanted physical contact during a domestic dispute is classified as battery. And on top of that, when the officers tell you that you're being temporarily detained and you try to pull away or walk off, now that immediately adds a charge for resisting an officer without violence. No amount of arguing, crying, or demanding phone calls can undo those physical actions. Once the body cam is recording every single second. The wife was placed under arrest and officially charged with battery and resisting arrest without violence. She was taken into custody and faced a fine of $323. As legal proceedings move forward, the court will determine the final outcome based on all the evidence collected at the scene. This messy and sad story teaches us a very big and important lesson about how vital it is to stay calm when our emotions get the best of us. From this video, we learn that when people let their anger take over and totally refuse to listen, small arguments turn into huge disasters in just a few seconds. Instead of talking nicely, trying to fix the problem, or just walking away to cool down, shouting at the police officers, screaming about lawyers, and trying to run away only makes everything much, much worse. We also learn that showing up at someone's workplace to start a loud, messy fight is never a smart idea because it only brings unneeded stress and public trouble to everyone involved. Furthermore, fighting or pulling away from the police officers who are just trying to do their job will never make them go away. It only guarantees that you'll end up in handcuffs and trapped in the back of a police car. Well, this case shows us clearly that bad choices, losing your temper, and refusing to cooperate always lead to heavy consequences and make a hard day infinitely harder for everybody. What do you think? Did she make the whole situation worse by refusing to cooperate with the police from the very beginning? Drop your opinion in the comments below.
