Please, stop. >> Please arrest me. >> Stop. >> Came out over dispatch as a female subject running into the gas station. Very emotional, crying, very distraught. She was so distraught she ran to the bathroom. She was hiding in the bathroom. Why? Why is somebody reacting that way? It was It was very apparent. She was emotionally distraught. >> How are you? >> Good. How you doing? >> Good. What's going on? >> Um, I'm okay. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> Well, what's going on? >> I just just like my boyfriend just took my phone and I freaked out and I wanted to get it back. >> Is there anything else going on that you want to talk to us about? >> Are you sure? Where's your boyfriend at now? >> I'm not sure. >> So, you don't want to give us any information in reference to it? >> Okay. You're not in any danger. Is there anything we can do for you at all? >> No. >> Put some marks on your neck. >> Honey, I've been in your situation. >> We need to talk to him about it. >> That's the only way we can help. She's crying. She's upset, but doesn't want to give a single statement. Doesn't want to tell us where she's coming, where she's going. Doesn't want to tell you what he's driving. You're the manager, correct? >> You guys have cameras we can review by any chance? >> Yeah. >> So, I think >> there was a there was a guy though. >> Oh yeah. He came in behind her and she stopped him and said, "No, you need to go back outside. >> You want to talk to us about?" So that's my girlfriend. I have dated her for a long time. We got into a fight and I I just panicked in the car and I like I didn't know how to deal with like a panic attack and I started like yelling at her, you know, getting mad and then I was just we got in the car and we were driving cuz we're doing cross country and I got so mad I hit my glass and I had my hand on her and I squeezed really hard and like she said pull over and I was going really fast and it wasn't safe. So right now man no no no. >> So based off of the statements that she made to us and everything like that right now. Okay. In the state of Arizona, this is zero tolerance. All right. For anything domestic violence. >> Okay. I didn't know that. Can I please? Please. >> No. Not at this point, dude. >> Please. Stop. >> Please. Please. >> They're arresting me. Stop. Don't make it harder on yourself. You're going to catch a resisting charge for you. >> I haven't made a single statement. There is nothing wrong. >> Okay, that's fine. We're going off based off of the statement that he provided. >> No, I want to go to the office with him. >> He doesn't go to the office. >> No, he's not going to jail. No, he didn't do anything. He didn't do anything. >> Let's go. You know, it's one of those things where we're going to be safe. Um we're going to be safer than sorry. You know, we're not we're not going to allow knowing that they were involved in a domestic incident. We're not going to allow them just continue. We're not going to allow them to continue down the road knowing, oh, you know, it was just a verbal incident. You know, when we have obvious, you know, statements saying that it was more than a verbal incident. You know, he grabbed her her leg, she had marks all over her neck. the way he was reacting with his speed and everything else is still more than just a verbal incident. You know, if we do let them drive down the road, then now what are we looking at? Are we looking at a situation where we're going to be looking at a Gabby Patito incident? You know, we have to be better and we have to try even if somebody doesn't want to be protected, if we know there's been a crime committed, we need to take that step and protect the ones that don't always want to be protected. Full extradition $25,000 warrant for a stolen vehicle 43 1078 code for Brunner driver's license info and checker for warrants and immediately we get a hit uh for a warrant uh down in Puma County across the state and just a plethora of charges. I think it is about 13 felony charges total. Uh conspiracy, trafficking, stolen property, stolen vehicle, illegally conducting an enterprise, and conspiracy. I was able to get a return for the car out of Oregon. You did get you do have it pulled up, it looks like. Perfect. Yeah, you're Oh, well, good. You already got it insured, so that's good. >> Yeah, that >> Yeah. Well, hey, most people won't do that, so that's good. I'm going to I just need to input the insurance information. Can you I don't want to hold your phone and drop it. Can you step out so I can just input the insurance information in my computer? No weapons in the vehicle, right? Okay. Awesome. Got your Starbucks. Good to go. >> It's windy. I remember you when I when I just searched your name. You can come on this side. >> When I searched your name, do you remember when I stopped you >> in Lakeside? I was the guy that stopped you. >> You're like a Charger or >> Was it a Challenger or something? Charger. >> Okay. Okay, >> cool. Let me see. Gotcha. Okay, one second. Okay, so you do have a warrant for arrest out of Tucson. Okay, so put your hands behind your back. Yep. For a stolen vehicle. Okay. >> It's a felony warrant. It shows for a stolen vehicle charge. Okay. Do you Did you get in any trouble in Tucson? >> Yeah, but they just >> I'm going to take that mace out of your pocket. Okay. >> Okay. Um, did you just not show up to court or what happened? >> It was dismissed. >> Come back to my car. They're going to confirm it, but it's showing it's an active arrest warrant at a Tucson. And it says for a stolen vehicle and then conducting a criminal enterprise. I don't I don't know. All it shows me is the charges on it. >> Can I call my boyfriend and let him know? >> Absolutely. Pretty good pop. 25K out of Puma County for a stolen vehicle. >> Is that what 1040 or No, first. What's that? >> Is this one 1040 or No, >> not not that I've seen so far. Nothing that But she's already like immediately like I want my boyfriend to come get it. So, we're going to we're going to tow it. >> Yeah. >> Inventory it. But >> Oh my god. Here we go. Right here. I asked her if there is any weapons in the vehicle. She said no. But the first thing we find during a vehicle inventory, it's a firearm. So, she said no. Fully loaded. Looks like it's a Springfield 45. So, she was asked, she said no. I'm gonna clear that out. We'll see if that's stolen or what's going on with that gun or if she's allowed to possess firearms. Brand new box of syringes. Okay. I'm just going to read your rights cuz you're under arrest. Okay. So, do you have the right to remain silent? Why? When I asked about weapons, why did you say no? Because I didn't even think about it. >> Are you not supposed to have firearms? >> No, I'm not. >> Are you a prohibited possessor? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Appreciate you not grabbing it or anything, but when are the aggravated assault charges from? >> Um, I ran over an ex-boyfriend. >> You ran over your ex-boyfriend >> for trying to hit me. >> For trying to hit you. When was that? >> Like eight years ago >> in Was it up here or >> in Navajo or Tucson? >> In. >> Oh, Apache County. So, eight years ago, you tried to run over your ex-boyfriend and then you got the aggravated assault charges. Okay. I I appreciate you being straight up. [Music] >> So, you do have registration. >> Okay. So, so the where the way Arizona law is written is it has to be registered and displayed. >> And it's displayed 2023. >> This boat hasn't been out for 2 years. >> All the all the more reason to bring your current stuff cuz it hasn't been out for 2 years. >> I hear it all. Where is your son? >> Right there. Right here. >> There are boats. >> How about the one you're driving? >> Absolutely, sir. >> And they're they're on the phone. >> I see this one. I want to see his now. It's two boats. Like this is Come on, man. >> Oh, we got pulled over for the same reason. >> Yeah. >> Here, I'll give you the thing. >> So, the way the laws written in Arizona, it's registered and displayed. >> I know. >> So, both are displayed wrong. >> What do you mean displayed wrong? They're wrong. >> It says 11:24. >> They all got lost. We're waiting for a new batch. >> Then the boat should be in a garage. That's it. I accept it. If I see this boat or this boat on the water the rest of the weekend, I'm riding them both. Hands down. >> Fair enough. >> Not have legal stickers. No. >> The way the law is written. Here's your phone. >> Thank you. >> The way the law is written is has to be registered and displayed. Whether it was in storage for 5 minutes or 5 years, it doesn't matter cuz they're not displayed. >> I just have it temporary. We They We don't have because we just pulled it out. So, I don't have anything yet. State of Arizona hasn't uh display or given us a sticker. Are they supposed to give us one at the DMV when they or fish it gave when they go there? >> This is the first run out in three years. Fish, >> they're going to mail it to you. >> You You're technically supposed to wait till you have it in the mail on the boat to take it on the water. >> Oh, I didn't care. >> So, that's what I'm saying. I'm going to give you a break. Normally, I'm I'm pretty good with it, but you guys got two boats. >> Well, we got four. >> Okay. Well, then all four should be registered. >> No, they are. They are. We just didn't know if we were pulling them out or that one has been >> All right. We're not going to go with splitting hairs. Just >> get them off the water. >> If we see them, >> if we see him, we're going to ride them. [Music] >> All right. So, we're looking for a female. It's got a felony warrant for probation violation. Last I heard, she was staying in a trailer in this RV park. So, we're going to go do a knock and talk. See if she's there. So, we can hook her up. Hello. I'm looking for a >> Yeah. >> What's that? Hey, deputy fence pause county shows a 1038 full extradition for probation violation. Bond amount $0. Copy. to work. >> Come on out. >> Who is it? >> Deputy Finch. Depos County. >> Why? >> You got a warrant. >> I don't have clothes on. >> Put some clothes on. >> I don't have any. >> Ain't no way. >> I don't have any clothes. >> You have clothes. Put your clothes on. >> I don't have any clothes. I swear to God. >> Well, you have a warrant. I'll come in and get you. So, >> wait. That's fine. I don't have no clothes on. I'm telling you, >> your friend here can't lend you a shirt. >> I don't I have a shirt on. I don't have no pants. >> If you're a business owner, listen up. It's one of those things, you know, I I've done it since I was a rookie. Um, I carry around candy. Hey guys, mind if I I have some candy. Can I give your kids some candy? I usually when I'm cruising around during my day and I see him out here, I I usually Yeah, I usually give them some candy. You guys want some candy? >> You guys want one or two? >> Two. >> Two. Good answer, dude. Here, I'll give her one and I'll give you something else. There's that. There's that. >> Thank you, Charlie. >> You're welcome. You guys have a good rest of your day. Okay. Which one loves candy? >> The little one. >> The little one. Oh, it's okay. It's okay. >> Yeah. Look it. I'll even give you two. How's that? >> You want one, too? >> Say thank you. >> That's so nice. >> Candy. >> Candy. That's right. You guys have a good night. Okay. The areas we go into, a lot of these kids, I mean, they a lot of times they don't have much. that could be the highlight of those kids day. Kids in this world deserve their innocence. It's not always about the crazy stuff, but it's also about the community and our relationship with the community and building that with these children. A lot of times they see the bad side. Law enforcement coming to their house, mommy and daddy fighting and probably going to end up taking their mommy and daddy or jail, possibly both. And a lot of times that makes them jagged to law enforcement. So being able to go out there, hand out a sucker, hand out a teddy bear, and be able to show them, you know, that's not everything we do, you know, when they're going through a rough time and they think about it and, hey, you know, that cop was was nice to me. That cop did help me out when I was a kid. You know, maybe he can help me out now instead of feeling like they have nobody and nowhere to turn, you know. So, it's just another side of who we are and what we do. something that always sticks to me in the back of my head. But it's our first prisoner of the day. >> Little puppy. She was running in rush hour traffic. So, we had some people walk up to us and say uh they're almost getting hit and stop in traffic. So, luckily this nice lady went and grabbed her. So, we'll put her in the back of the car till our animal control gets here. And she is a cutie though. So if anybody wants a dog and poor thing saving puppies at 7 a.m. Look at that butt. >> She loves people. >> Hey, good morning. It's not always about just making traffic stops and writing tickets or finding bad guys or whatever, but sometimes it's as simple as uh, you know, grabbing a puppy, you know, and hanging on to them. And you never know what you're going to find early in the morning. Yeah, absolutely. More of a dog guy. I should send it to my wife, but the last time I sent one to my wife, we got it. Said it's my new partner. big time softy, especially for puppies. But, you know, like I said out there, who doesn't love puppies? So, >> let's just check on him real quick. >> Hey, how are you? >> Are you good? >> I'm going to the hospital. >> You're going to the hospital? Well, you're going the wrong way. It's that way. >> Can you take me over there? >> No. No. What do you got in your pocket here? What do you got here? Move your hand. >> That's the whiskey. >> Move. Yeah. Oh, let go. Let go. You can't have this. >> Okay. >> What else you got? >> Nothing. >> You got no more. You got no more booze? >> No. Nothing. >> Okay. What are we going to do with this? >> Just give me a drink. >> Kind of violates the purpose, doesn't it? >> Yeah. >> Are you Are you okay? >> Yeah, I'm okay. >> All right. You're going to be uh you shouldn't be out here in this. I mean, this is not the main road here, but you need to stay down in this stay down in this area in here so you don't get hit by a car. All right. >> Okay. >> I'm going to hang on to this. Actually, what what we're going to do is I'm going to have you I'm going to have I'm going to have you pour it out. Okay. >> I'm going to have you pour it out. >> All of it. >> Yeah. >> This is a lot. >> I know. I know. But you can't have that. You can't have that. I know that hurts your feelings, doesn't it? >> It does. >> You can have the rest. Right on. [Music] >> Here, let's let's give me the cap. I'll take this for you, though. Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. We don't want to litter. >> But you okay? You're okay, though? >> Yeah. >> All right. >> I'm okay. >> Just stay out of the road. All right. >> Okay. >> All right. Have a good day. >> Yeah. Like I said earlier, this is this is not a dry reservation, but they do not allow um hard alcohol. That was obviously a bottle of vodka. Um you can drink down here. You can't drink in public like that. Um or have and he's basically what they call public intoxication. So he would be in violation of tribal code for public intoxication. Um he wasn't causing any heartache. So there's really no sense in taking in, you know, a hardline enforcement action on that. But he can't have that open container of alcohol here on the reservation. So the key thing here is is that came from somewhere else because they don't sell that here on the White Mountain Apache. So the bootlegging issue is very is is a big deal. So what they what a lot of people do is they c gather a bunch of money uh and they run up to Pinetop to the Circle K or any you know Walmart or wherever up there and they'll and they'll buy a whole bunch of booze and of alcohol that you can't get on the reservation here and then they'll they'll come down here and they'll sell it at extremely escalated prices and u it's against tribal law to to uh bootleg uh the liquor. So, it's a big problem. Um, it's a big problem. Uh, they just don't have, you know, the the the resources to to address to address that in the way that it needs to be addressed. So, um, I hated to do that for that guy there, but he was already, as you could tell, he was already pretty heavily intoxicated and and, uh, by the time he'd have finished off that bottle, um, he might have been in some sort of a medical problem there. So, um, kind of kind of hurts your feelings a little bit to make him pour it out. Uh, but it's illegal to have and bottom line, he doesn't really need anymore today. So, [Music]
