Officers located the suspect vehicle as the driver attempted to elude law enforcement by driving down an alley. Officers quickly blocked the vehicle in the alley by driving down both ends. Go get your Police lost sight of the suspect until approximately 5:30 p.m. when they were investigating a possible break-in on a ranch outside the city limits. The suspect was identified as Roman Royal and was eventually transported [music] to the Scurry County Jail where he was booked for aggravated assault against a public servant, evading arrest, failure to identify abusive calls to 911, leaving the scene of an accident, and of course, the outstanding warrant. Court records indicate a jury sentenced him to 99 years for the aggravated assault against a public servant and 20 years for evading arrest. Thank you guys so much for watching until the end.
