So, um I've been at the sheriff's office since 2008 when I started in the jail um and went to patrol shortly after that. Was able to transfer to the Division of Boating Safety where I was able to promote and uh take over the unit as a sergeant and it's been amazing. I was born and raised in Lake Havsu so my passion truly is um boating for sure. So, um, today we're out for Fourth of July weekend and we're looking for any kind of boating violations. Uh, specifically safety violations being kind of our top priority. Um, and we're we're here on the rescue boat today. So, we have divers and medics. So, long story short, if you're coming this way, you either come all the way past it, you turn and come into the right, or you make a right-hand turn. Once you're out there equal at, you have a clean spot instead of like these jet skiis that come right here. [Music] >> 203. >> So responding to a couple calls. one calls of a a large assault, like eight people fighting at the nautical cove, and also a male subject that's unconscious on the beach uh north of the nautical. So, trying to figure out if it's related or not, but it sounds like uh sounds like we got units out with both of them. We're going to go head out with our medic and see what we can do to help. Is this one of your guys? >> What happened? Two security guys. >> Some dude's uh boat was sinking out here for whatever reason. We came over because we thought we could offer some assistance. Got to boated out. We walked away. Got called back 30 seconds later saying there was a fight out here. We showed back up. There was no fight. There was a bunch of emotions. We were all kind of standing on this white fence over here and about four dudes just jumped out of the car, jumped over the fence and just started to [ __ ] swing. They cocked me in the mouth. >> They got my other guy over here a couple times. They were pissed cuz we were watching I guess. We have one patient our medics are evaluating now that was a pretty significant loss of consciousness from the fight and a second patient that's minor. It sounds like our victims over here is security that was involved with breaking up the altercation that you had over there. Just so you know. >> Uh responded to the nautical for uh reports of a large fight. Um come to find out, nautical security was on scene trying to help somebody with a boat. Um sounds like some argument ensued. Escalated pretty uh pretty significantly. Security tried to intervene. The suspects ended up fighting like three security guards. Jumped one back here.
