incident when they arrived at the scene they found a highly intoxicated female sitting on a vehicle her intoxicated State impaired her ability to act responsibly after a short time she fled the scene adding to the severity of the situation 42 ma'am hello step out the vehicle so I can speak with you ma'am what what but just step out the vehicle so I can talk to you step out the vehicle what are you trying to do ma'am don't be careful be careful ma'am just turn off the vehicle just put the vehicle in park and turn it off put the vehicle in park and turn it off can you come out the other side what can you come out the other side you were just involved in a car accident up here at the light right outside the entrance you know what you guys are so wrong officers arrived at the female suspect's house in response to a hit-and-run incident upon their arrival they saw the suspect coming out of a vehicle at this point they initiated an investigation by questioning her about the incident however the woman was not Cooperative she refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing continuously arguing with the officers and asking them why they were investigating her she demanded explanations and made the situation tense by yelling loudly and screaming at the officers okay wait wait wait you can't I don't want you to hurt yourself can you step back into the vehicle no okay cuz my vehicle is not messed up stop okay so why did so why did you leave the accident and now I saw it what's the address here you know where you're at oh good God what are you doing I'm trying to get it out so let me help you the police officer dad did she hit your car she did I'll call you back she did it's okay but why I see the damages yeah sure was it minor yeah it was minor the victim who was wearing a black shirt provided a clearer account of the incident the witness explained that the female suspect had been highly intoxicated L and had been driving recklessly and after the crash instead of stopping the suspect fled the scene the victim's account helped the officers piece together the events leading up to the crash and the suspect's attempt to evade responsibility armed with this new information the officers returned to confront the real suspect I would sto at that light at 40c way for the turn the red light and she Reed me so it's this but the main concern was her condition yes and I mean I videoed it and the guy behind me he was videoing he stayed he said that he saw her driving recklessly for about a half a mile she was yelling in to go go go cuz the light was green and she was stepping on the gas gotta as she was kissing the bumper gotta and it pushed it a little bit and then she started backing up and we kept telling her and I mean right now I'm tense and you know my back feels a little now my adrenaline I had a little panic attack over there you know this lady wasted yeah and the heat doesn't help now she's got a dog I feel bad for theing dog sorry sorry sorry that's okay you weren't cursing at no no no no no I'm so sorry no no need to apologize so so just so here's the situation yeah um I know because she say she's having a medical episode and I couldn't you know like she's like my medication my medication I couldn't she said I have a video that say she can't see she can't see so so I can't really hold her from not going in her house she you know she made it to her house right by the miracle right exactly um excuse me for one second yes gra take a come back to so there's no damage here which right it's a scratch but I'm I'm surprised right me too but but you know what sometimes we have I don't know what your religion is we have Guardian Angels right absolutely right and James was sent that guy that was over there there was a guy that park behind her that has dash cam and he sent me the he gave me his info but he stayed there two FS after me otherwise I would have had a fullblown panic attack a medical episode okay all right so I'm having another depy come over so couple ways we can handle this okay um and and it's up to you what you want to do yeah if you want to do a crash report or you just want to she's in her house you know obviously something's going on with her um so it's up to you I got another deputy coming over um and it's it doesn't matter to to us you know it's up to you if we do a crash report I think I want something documented for myself absolutely AB because this is yeah yeah yeah yeah so so absolutely that's that's uh especially cuz I'm shaky I'm just nervous I'm no it's okay my yeah so if I cry that's why it's another accident anyways I pull up to the scene at the traffic light intersection here so had to make a U-turn cuz they were in the westbound Lane as I'm pulling up this young lady's waving at us and says hey that's the lady she's leaving and she pulls into this development so I was able to follow her and found her here so she she pars her vehicle first she Parks her vehicle she's trying to get out of the vehicle but she parked it really close to the staircase and she's like I I need to get out I said ma'am okay back up your vehicle a little bit she seems either under the influence of something or having some type of medical condition you know wasn't all there and I said ma'am I need to talk to you I need to to find out what happened and she's like if you look at my car I don't have any damage to my car she's walking around her car and I said well I need to talk to you and she I said wait here why don't you have a SE so we can figure this out so this young lady of course a few minutes later pulled up so this is vehicle one that's vehicle two um lady went in the house and you know I was trying to hold her as much as I could I was like man I can't really by this time the woman had hidden herself inside her house clearly trying to avoid further interaction with the officers the officers asked her multiple times to come out of the house but she initially refused after several requests she finally exited the house but her confrontational attitude continued when the officers attempted to arrest her she resisted by yelling and screaming even more she repeatedly told the officers that she was suffering from a migraine and that they were mistreating her you know she's parked in her driveway you know and she was you know like I need to get inside I need to get inside I don't feel good I don't feel good you know I'm having something medical and so she went outside but I you know this is registered under her it's her so I asked the young lady you know what do you want to do um said you know you have any iny she's like I'm a little shooken up you know my adrenaline and I was freaking out but she was recklessly driving um you know then no bumped her there's just a little small scratch of her back but I'm concerned about her um I was about to call for her but need to talk what are you huh hear what i7 down yeah I was holding her holding her I said Tina just sit down sit down and talk should have just detain but yeah the dog inside yeah he's freaking out come outside and talk to us open the open the door buddy two couches nobody sitting on the couch coming through come outside we need to speak with you what can you step outside so we can talk to you For What come outside we want to check on you we want to see if you're okay want to see if you're okay ma'am hey don't don't let my dog down get that dog back inside get in no no get her inside now now oh he's friendly now she'll run out to the road and get no we got her we got her she's not going officers to place her in custody eventually they managed to arrest her and place her inside the police vehicle however her resistance only worsened once she was inside the vehicle her behavior was disruptive and she continued to scream and argue making the situation even more chaotic given her State and her claims of a migraine the officers decided to involve medical assistance they called for a stretcher and once it arrived they placed her inside an ambulance to be transported to the the hospital for a medical checkup please okay let's walk over to my car you have better your car it's a what is 4 second way right the at the yeah I was stopped at that red light um and turn left cuz I was going to make you okay to get back on 9 on 95 and as I was stopped at the red light she rear ended me um when I got out of the car and I saw you know I went over to her and the first thing I said you know I'm okay are you okay and she yeah I'm okay and then as soon as she started speaking I knew something was wrong um and then as I was out of my car and I asked her I said you know do you have do you have insurance you know she was stepping on the gas as she was still attached to the car um and then briefly after the other man there was another gentleman he stop and he said that he had seen her driving recklessly he was oh okay um he has dash cam video and the other officer got his information cuz he gave it to me he stayed with me um I do have video on my cell phone where she was the light was turning green she didn't try to hit me with the car you know she didn't try to come at me or anything like that um but she was yelling go go go the light is green go oh you know um and then you know multiple times she acted like she was going to leave and we were like no you can't leave you have to stay put your car in park put your car in park and he was trying to calm her down and tell her to put the car in park um the other driver the other the other driver that had stopped yes and then she was backing up and it was about 2 minutes cuz I want to say the whole thing it felt like about 15 minutes I don't know I called back twice um because I did did feel that she was going to leave and about 2 minutes before he arrived she did leave she backed up and then went and she turned into here into the front entrance and she was stopped by that front entrance cuz I was on the phone with 911 at the time and I was like can you just stay with me until the officer gets here and as soon as he got here I said go get her and she was the she was I I want to she was at the front entrance yeah I said yeah that's the blue Mercedes SUV okay and then finally like once I got the other guy's information I just came in here cuz I wanted to know what I needed to do yeah cuz I know I'm okay we're all okay but this is an incident and I wanted it reported I wanted this you know something's going on with her whether it's um when you got here um to the house here yeah he was already here I was just watching did you see her outside yeah she was out of her car oh she already out of the car she was already out of the car yeah when she drove around you and was sitting at the front entrance yeah did anybody get in or out of the car I have no idea because I was still stopped at that red light I was still outside of my vehicle and the other guy James was getting me his his information cuz he has some dash cams okay so I came in here through the exit cuz I was like I got to find out where she is where they are and I was driving and I saw did you see when she came out of the house after I had gotten here I saw you guys trying to yes I did I saw you guys trying to knock on the door okay and she wasn't answering and then after that did you see her come outside I did see her come down the stairs yeah and did you see um us taking her into custody at all I did see because she was concerned about the dog and I saw you grab the dog okay and I did see um I saw the handcuffs on her at that moment I didn't know what was going on you know cuz where I was and everything but I did see where you know handcuffs were put on her the person that we were interacting with and the person that we put handcuffs on is that the same person that was driving when they yes absolutely okay she came out of the car she had one shoe on I did notice that and she was you know I want to say biger but I don't know if it's metop or not but something was clearly not right and I have food on me and I'm talking can you raise your right hand absolutely out of the heat get this no no step out can you step out first what step out please come on out come on out move your legs over here step out thank you at the hospital she was evaluated to ensure there were no medical concerns that would prevent her from being detained after the medical clearance was complete the officers took her to jail throughout this entire incident the officers also thanked the witness for her cooperation and for providing additional details about the suspect and her behavior during the incident feet on the ground okay now you're going to have a seat back in here okay and we're going to and we're going officers confirm the suspect's intoxicated State and her reckless driving which led to the hit and run ultimately the officers gathered all the necessary information and took appropriate action by arresting the suspect you got me in pain this is G giving me a massive migraine massive migraine it's a trailer park massive trailer park I don't know why you don't take this damn thing out of my arm
