on September 3rd 2024 an officer arrived at the scene following a reported situation that required immediate attention all right M unfortunately you come with me do my favor just just back up just a little bit let us do our thing but I don't know why she claimed that that's hers um as far as the weed I mean there's probably felony amount there but in Florida there kind of more medium with weed and St attorney's office probably went prute on it so what I'm going to do is I'm going take the weed for instruction you're not going to be charg with that um but obviously the so put her in offic what's that for officer see one around for search I could secure in my car for now um just in the meantime won't search it just like I got you yeah I hear you you beener matter the officer began a conversation with the individuals present and soon identified marijuana possession as part of the issue they carefully explained that while the amount could be considered a felony the State of Florida often handles marijuana cases differently the state attorney's office may not pursue charges immediately instead the officer decided to confiscate the weed for Destruction without charging the person on the spot 7 Alpha 210 can I have Alpha 214 51 the beach unit for search careful for 14 10 you already checked in mhm I'm going pull my car over here real quick and just knock out I got you who's a registered owner yeah all who is he's he's on insurance say I assume you like we're married okay good enough the here let me get [Music] it h there's nothing no it's it's his call it's it's already done you know I'm just here for assist to make sure 32 it's already done so going forward here's what's going to happen he's going to take you to the correctional facility you go before a judge get a bail it's based on um your bail will be based on the charges today requesting contact your history ircle going they're going to be in you don't have any history or something yeah then then then you should be good all right all of this is in banel okay the court is uh the courthouse in vanel in the 1700 block of Moody Boulevard all right it's real simple this traffic light here see it says Sr 100 that's Moody Boulevard so you keep that going down about 5 or 6 miles will'll be on your left moving ahead the officer suggested holding off on searching the vehicle for now deciding to secure it in their patrol car temporarily cooperation was evident with everyone following instructions a call was then placed requesting additional units particularly a female officer to assist with specific proced uh you you you you you might I mean it's so today is Tuesday which because of yesterday's holiday it's like a Monday so everything on the weekend it's getting processed today yeah it's getting processed so it's you know so I honestly I I really can't tell you got no reason Circle I don't know how long it'll take just with the weekend and everything stacked up you know I ask question so if this were to happen on Saturday is it we have had to wait in a sou for Tuesday then just disconnected we made contact back his rapid was showing him moving back to his residence and not a public so this is like the county the jail and everything but um the police and the jail is 24/7 but the courts are Monday through Friday exception of the holiday business hours for you what's that um yeah you send me text text don't know yeah yeah it's up to you if you want to people the whole we're not going to tell anybody I'm not trying to that's a very personal decision you know and um go on a record tell I don't feel good I don't want to it'll go on a rest record whether you're convicted or not is something different which could be expunged uh should you choose to and that all is a very personal decision because um if you're if you're looking at let's just scoot over a little bit this way so if if you're looking at a certain job that you know um might ask have you ever been arrested or something you know depends on how thorough they do the background CH again don't confuse conviction with the rest conviction is courts arrest is police two separate things you can get expunge with the arrest but you know that's that's exp as well yeah I'm not too sure about Florida uh I'm I'm really not I know up north it's it's a lot tougher you know it's um it's it's not the end of the world I I I I know it's easy for me to say that being in my position but um for this first of all it's it's it's misdemeanor the officer explained that bail would depend on the charges Court history and other relevant factors the officer clarified that the delay meant processing might take longer making it uncertain how quickly the person would be released if this had happened on a Saturday the officer explained they would likely have to remain detained until Tuesday due to court closures over weekends and holidays the conversation turned to the difference between arrests and convictions the officer explained that an arrest becomes part of the record but doesn't equal a conviction um this is this is not something so I could tell you there'll be some sort of probation uh where you'd have to deal with probation officer here in this County but my suggestion is to say Hey listen can I do this over the phone because they can do that well I mean people from all over come to Florida they do something they get arrested and um you know like if you're in the state of Washington or Virginia you're not expected to check in every you you may have to come one time uh and that's just a routine your analysis and then there'll be some classes you got to take and some community service community service you can buy out you know usually it's it's uh usually for for every hour community service it's like 10 bucks or 12 bucks one depending on the situation you might can even take some online classes in lure community service at a much cheaper rate again it's not the end of the world they keep it's geared with in mind of people who are working and got a family and all that you know so that's assuming you're convicted okay if you're acquitted then you don't have to worry about any of that I know 312 Che so right now I don't know if you know we're waiting on a female officer 740 uh they're coming from the county I don't know how long it's going to take I don't know where she was originally she should be here momentarily that's that's the reason we're wai can you just hold hold tight for a second yeah just hold tight hold tight here I don't have a problem with it but until she's checked and everything you know and um Tango 927 te white col Honda you're you're not supposed to be this close the the the the Liberties once you're once you're under arrest the the Liberties of of such you know but uh the upside of that is y'all been cool I mean there was no use of force or nothing like that so you know what I mean so they and believe me that goes a long way more than you know 7:44 yeah who worries like I said we appreciate I mean it's it goes a long way more than you you know I'm sure it's not e no I mean in my career I've dealt with with uh I's just say a lot of unruly customers all right and um and that's again not here not here I was the cop I had another gig elsewhere convictions happen in court while police handle arrests an arrest record can often be expunged depending on circumstances especially for misdemeanors the officer reassured them that this situation wasn't the end of the world describing common outcomes like probation community service or taking classes and Delaware what's that y'all been through there I'm originally from New York and Jersey so okay what part of Jersey so like Elizabeth I know Elizabeth all right got you that's was it last year I really liked it yeah Philly is [Music] uh good restaurants you know good good party life and all that good party life yeah yeah oh yeah if if if that's your thing you know if if you know bars nightclub that type of stuff if that's your thing if it's if it is your thing FL of beach ain't it this is just Beach you know that's all for yeah it's it's it's and usually a lot of guys from New York don't like it down here cuz it's just too slow I mean the place closes down you know what I mean in New York City everything's open all night you get no matter where you are you got money you can get something to eat and it doesn't have to be a lot of money you can find little holes in walls you know I get it I felt like I felt the same way when I first got here you learn to appreciate the yeah no it's it's it's it's it's a slow pace it's uh but you know many people from Long Island and and you you are from are here yeah know you know I mean you also have the Yankees play out by CH like oh yeah yeah yeah spring the cactus yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah they come out the spring I haven't I haven't checked that out yet but one day a female officer soon arrived to search for any weapons or prohibited items during the search the individual mentioned their peer and after confirming no other issues the search was completed without trouble phones and other belongings were secured as they couldn't be taken to jail before leaving the officer allowed a brief moment for the individual to say goodbye to their loved one showing professionalism and understanding searing for any weapons any anything that's going to like stick me cke me make me cry like that no going to lose sleep at night what her piercings my piercings right as long as they stay put I think we're all right you don't have any other Pockets 12 this is your bra yes 749 right nothing in your shoes anything like that no no you don't have any underwear on you do okay I'm just using the back okay all right uh that car thank you we'll walk this I who wants to uh give her a kiss real quick is that a go ahead get your phone for you okay walk around this way I'll grab your phone is that it right here yeah um you your pH don't do you want do you want me to give it to him or you want it with you you can't have it in the jail I mean they're going to secure it okay that's fine then yeah you have it
