oh my God oh my God oh my God oh my God on 18th August 2021 officers responded to a distressing incident following a call about a car battery case the caller reported that a highly aggressive female driver had intentionally hit another girl with her vehicle resulting in a tragic crash the situation described by the caller was deeply alarming prompting immediate law enforcement intervention what happened what happened no my I got hit by a car oh did she hit you who hit her did you hit her or yeah that's why I'm still here okay all right where where the what hurts this whole leg I cannot move all right no problem the mags are coming for you okay you have your ID on you what what happened how' you get it I was following hopped out and I was like one vehicle is going to be vehicle versus pedest I didn't even [Music] know C can you get her [Applause] 14 and everything out here I'm going to get by did she hit you on accident [Applause] can my mom come right now yeah where are we we're at Parker and Southern we're on Parker and Southern at a subway par back to oh my God what happened you were walk you need to talk tell what's going on out of a car and she hit me hit you yes upon arriving at the scene the officers observed a shocking and harrowing sight one of the females involved in the incident was lying on the ground surrounded by a significant amount of blood the injured female appeared to be in critical condition and her physical state underscored the gravity of the situation the officers quickly assessed the scene and called for an ambulance to ensure the injured individual would receive urgent medical attention while awaiting the arrival of medical personnel the officers shifted their focus to the other female present who was identified as the suspect in this incident yes oh my God so she jumped out of the car she jumped out of the car jumped out of the car then she got hit by the car that's what she's saying oh my God Mom I'm so sorry oh my God talk to me this all right here hurts so bad I tried to move some but it hurts oh my God [Applause] why how old are you I'm 20 you I got it for [Applause] you you jumped out of another car I got your phone and this car hit you is that what Happ I'm hang now did you jump out of another vehicle yes you did because he told me to okay and I didn't know what to do I didn't want to get whose car were you in car that's off can I please have my phone I just feel weird not having it which car were you in this one over here listen we're going to pick you up okay it's going to hurt oh my God oh my God oh my God be revoked for this what's that is my license going to be revoked for what what an accidental no I need your license your in insurance can you run the [Music] tag what happened I was following my friend and um she got out the car and like I kept driving and I guess it sort of like and then like I felt like like where were you no like I I was like I kept driving where where were you okay so you pulled pulled in here yeah this way okay that way but then like I turned around you pulled in yeah dropped off no I was driving behind my friend and then she came out his car but I just kept driving to follow him and like where did she come from the car okay you you're going to have to the officers began questioning the suspect to understand the circumstances leading to the crash during the initial questioning the suspect confessed to following her boyfriend she explained that she was upset because her boyfriend was not responding to her and in the course of her Pursuit she observed the injured girl leaving her boyfriend's vehicle consumed by anger and jealousy the suspect admitted that she then struck the girl with her car so you was coming in this parking lot right here right Colette oh my God I'm so sorry it's fine okay do you need medic to check you out no I didn't not get hurt okay I did not get hurt you have your ID he has he has it so you was off of bear over there you was cut you was cutting this way right following a friend yeah okay and then what happened when she hopped out the car like near the dumpster right here and I just kept driving when she hopped out so she hopped out the car that was going into traffic or was already traveling traffic so I was following the car still okay she hopped out was the back seat or the passenger side the back seat the backseat passenger side or backseat driver side passenger so she jumped out the car and I kept driving you H and then I I felt like I hit her and I backed up I was like oh [ __ ] so I went to turn around cuz like going to like leave her there right do do you know like what part of your car you felt that hit her the FR and you didn't you didn't hit another car you just hit her there was no traffic that this might be I don't know no actually no I ran into a gate I'm sorry I ran into the gate today yeah yeah following like that so following your friend you ran into a gate following your friend you hit this pedestrian not into a gate like gate like ran into it but you know like the curbs there's like a gate and there's a curb I was on like I hit with the light okay so what what part of your car hit her do you think I know this side how fast pretty going you think when you hit her not too fast but I mean it's a heavy car yeah it's a heavy car probably has a broken leg from jumping out the car or what's that from jumping out the car or I don't know yeah I can't figure that part I can't see any yeah no damage nothing indicating from another vehle yeah she say she ends up hitting a gate earlier following a friend she seemed like she had a [Applause] left left eye so that that would have been like from the back bam maybe but then she would have sat she would have sat on here see something how fast do you think you were traveling not fast it was like in here so it was pretty slow and there was a car my friend's car in front of me so not really fast where where didd your friend go to um he kept driving he left you he left like yeah he left her like I guess he's dropping her off I don't know so she was traveling in the car with your friend [Applause] yeah I don't know so you you know her then no I don't know her person hello is this your friend right here so she jumped up the car I have no idea bro that's what I'm saying she she C she jumped out the car with her friend the the friend that she was where the friend that she was follow she claims right here and that's probably right there cuz she says that she was following her friend she jumped out that person jumped out that friend's car coming this way coming this way so and she hit him the friend who she's talking about took off and so she say she doesn't know him know her but you're following a friend she was in your friend's called you know that's like so there's something like gravel underneath this one which probably there's gravel and dirt underneath this one yeah probably to go with that fence but um she showed no regret for her actions and was uncooperative providing little additional information that could Aid the investigation the officers determined to handle the case thoroughly returned to the injured female to assess her condition further the medical team arrived promptly and the injured individual was carefully picked up up and placed into the ambulance she was transported to the hospital for immediate treatment to address her severe injuries he said this side but see Dage there's some damage underneath here and there's a there's a little piece in the in the road that might [Music] [Applause] be what's up hey what's up so she she said that um she was Trav she was following her friend The Pedestrian jumped out the friend's car she hit her didn't didn't know she heard her so she backed up friend took off so do you know her no but the friend who you was following he was in he was in the car s you see you see those tire tracks see those tire tracks and this gravel right [Music] here this that's a [Applause] taser she claims that um she hit a gate earlier that on that left side that's what caused that following that same friend but now I'm seeing this don't have to touch it do you know what this is might be a Tas and you you didn't hit this bush did you no uh you got cameras here some over there some over there there's nothing over there too want you anybody else running into you who was your who was your friend that you was um following it was a guy or a girl was a he's not he's not going to come back for you um he's going to um why why wouldn't he come back for you he's going to like upset like cuz like I don't know why do that and I understand like I mean that was his friend though right he knew the girl yeah is your is that is that like a boyfriend of yours hm the guy you was following that was a boyfriend yeah yeah okay but I don't know like I didn't know she was in the car he was just like oh like follow me like yeah she Dr jumps out is that who so who's the girl that he was with somebody somebody who he's dating now or or no cuz we were just hanging out today so you guys are hanging out earlier today yeah I don't think he did you see her in the car with her no that's the thing I didn't see her at [Applause] all did he um is that him on the phone can you call him cuz I mean if she jumped out his car he could probably witness that can you call him and ask him to come back cuz she um she saying that was a boyfriend was driving the the other car was driving the other car her boyfriend yep and this is her other boyfriend's car so she jumped out the boyfriend's car then claim that she didn't know that he she was in the car so the other car involved her she said her boyfriend she keep another girl another girl so the girl jumps out the back so almost almost seemed like she was like a that makes it sound more like aneg mm like more of a frustration like this is another boy this another boyfriend that she guier who owns who owns this car what's his name Dean where does uh does he live where does does he live how how old is Dean 50 50 are they going to check my car for something what do you mean so how how long do you think I'll be to team I don't I don't I don't know I I think he's just trying to figure out what what's going on make sure the young lady's okay and all that obviously we probably might have to call for a ride or something somebody to come get the car we're trying to give de opportunity to come get his car right I'm have to call for a ride when I get out you mean when you get what when I get out I mean when you leave right from right here yeah from here I mean if you if you leave from here you need to ride home right oh I can't take my car I don't know that's why we're trying to get in contact with Dean now he might have to come get his he might have to come get the car she resisted providing further details about her actions or the events leading up to the incident recognizing the suspect's uncooperative Behavior and the seriousness of the crime the officers decided to place her under arrest however when the officers attempted to arrest her she actively resisted she pleaded with the officers to release her and continued resisting their efforts to Det detain her her resistance and refusal to comply escalated the situation but the officers maintained control and ensured that the arrest was conducted properly hello I don't I don't know so the other officer said that I being detained detained just means you're you can't go anywhere cuz we're talking to you oh you're not you're not under arrest you're just being detained right now just standing here just standing here so that means you can't going anywh you're being detained but I'm not being arrested you don't have any cffs on you you're not arrested right now okay um yeah I mean who is this Dean no should I call Dean yeah let's let's get him on the phone I leave like I can't take my car let's get Dean on the phone so then that way you let let him know that you're involved in an accident and if if if he could respond out here to this area all right I'm going to text really fast or call really fast don't's to I just send in the location let me text him I I think she made contact with him he just needs to come get the car yeah he just needs to come get the car okay just wait fine it's all in drivable condition has some minor damage on the front end but um it was it was uh you know involved in an incident tonight so um we can't leave with her but if you come you can you can come pick it up go ahead put your hands for aggravated AG battery okay the front in of the back no HT like that if keep your hands together like this aggravated battery yes yeah uh the [Music] address that's up to you'll see The Judge first thing in the morning okay to take show that's you you're that's all the questions you're going to have to ask at jail okay do you have anything in your pockets I think so I uh she's here she's about to be detained and taken with us uh okay can I ask you this question it's not a DUI no not a DUI okay is she going to be arrested yes okay battery but but um that's that's your guys's place to talk about that stuff so I'll let no what I'm saying is this and just and I know you can only tell me so much should I be in a to attempt to bail her out yes okay uh is there any information you can tell me as to what I she'll uh she'll be able to call you from from inside you know his number right she'll be able to call you from inside and give you the bail amount she'll have to see a judge so it may not be until tomorrow um do you have arrest history what um I don't know um have you been arrested before yes for what yeah so sometimes they set the bond paste on the past history but it's not a whole bunch of stuff it'll probably be oh I [Music] can't it's probably going to be like 3:00 a.m. 3 or 4 a.m. what time is it now 12:30 so I won't be able to call anybody probably whenever they get you booked in she she can hear you pick up the car bring it here okay so it's nice and safe okay and then what I'm going to do is you just call me one you have to like this and then sort of like she she hears you she's just the the off as well but uh she'll call you from inside and then now you guys can work on bail then you know how long you're going to be to come over here how many how he he's got whatever how long it takes Uber to get here all right she she hears you um she's she's stepping away now though other stuff is already in there yeah do do you want him to have his stuff we have the key here um her stuff is her stuff fine in the car how many phone calls can I make well you're not going to another phone call until you get the county jail how many can I make I don't know they'll let you know you can make as many as you want um all of her stuff all of her properties in the car that's all fine to stay in there correct know yeah that's what I'm asking you is V comes back to you that's why we're contacting you the key so I should bring that no no no her key is going to stay with the car right now all other properties stay there correct the suspect was taken into custody and transported to the police station for further investigation at the police station the suspect remained uncooperative continuing to resist the officer's attempts to obtain additional information about the incident her lack of remorse and refusal to provide more details highlighted the challenges faced by law enforcement in dealing with such cases I don't know all right we we'll see you when you get here [Applause] then I don't know if it was aggravated but I have turned around to like help her that's not what I'm understanding like I okay I'm going to apologize and Advance I'm embarrassingly blind and what's her relationship uh just friends we very good friends and I've known her for quite a while but can I ask you that and I know there's only so much you can say is it bad um I don't know Define bad is she going to well I don't know what happened in all sincerity and you said assault does that mean like a fist fight or does that mean like because you said there was damage in the car does that mean she tried to hit another car did you want to see the car oh please please I mean you got some were you aware has this car been in an accident well well here's what's funny that you say that do you have a flashlight there Sergeant uh oh hold on I I got a flashlight on it oh you okay oh is this what you're talking about yeah okay now the other night we were actually out to dinner like Saturday night on Claus and Sunday we didn't know until like after the fact that somebody had hit us okay and that's a claim like literally in process I legit was going to go to the dealership tomorrow okay right so this didn't just happen this was like Saturday okay okay and so Progressive is my insurance company there's an open claim there Sergeant and I was going to take it to Mercedes uh tomorrow probably the one chobe um so that was like so that was from Saturday old news now now I that was my oh that was um the other thing I was going to ask is so is and I don't know what you're def is this the assault she hit she hit a car a person uh a building uh we we don't we don't know we don't know exactly what what what the vehicle hit I don't know exactly what the vehicle but but the charge was assault so I didn't know if that meant assault with a car yeah uh you hit somebody physically or what yeah I mean she'll give you she'll give you a call it does look like so this damages wasn't here it was the other damage this is this is brand new okay this is brand um and listen and and I know you have a job to do and I appreciate your service and everything was it something really messed up I don't even know the details like I I kind of stayed over here while the officers was talking to mind ask how how did you get called into it like was it it came out as an accident it was an accident that occurred we thought it um if I tell you something guy to Guy this is just guy to guy what go okay we're GNA go out to eat tonight and she said n I'm not feeling good I'm not I'll see you tomorrow then that's when you wish you guys had gone out to eat G out to eat you know what I mean it's like abely it's like something happens it takes two seconds in the aftermath takes forever like ah crap to Charlie fire Sergeant Ken um now she'll call me like collect if you know like from the the jail or whatever you don't need to speak to the LA do you yes she will does this suck okay 26 yeah I mean soon as she I mean soon as she gets booked in and everything she'll they'll get her settled and she'll um she'll start making whatever phone calls that she needs to make and I'm sure give you a call and give you give you some of the information on that yeah the thing that blows is these things happen in real life and it's like you wish they didn't okay subsequently the case was presented in court where the suspect faced the charge of aggravated battery the evidence gathered by the officers including her initial confession and the details surrounding the incident formed the foundation of the prosecution's case the court proceedings allowed for a comprehensive examination of the circumstances ensuring
