So, you're going to have to deal with the report. >> I'm going to tell you right now. Who told you to come here? You don't pack up and go. Who told you to come here? >> I told myself. Or you're going to be under arrest. >> You cannot arrest me. You have not done anything. >> Yes. Disorderly conduct. Let's go. >> You came in here. >> Let's go. >> You came in here. >> Let's go. >> You came in here. You came in. >> Okay. Some people treat polite directions like personal insults. And this woman brought full Broadway energy to a library command. She acted like the study room was her private napping suite, not a shared public space. Officers asking her to leave was apparently a call to arms. She didn't just resist. She weaponized her voice, flapping her gums non-stop until ears bled. and then tell somebody that they doing disorderly conduct. I was in there quiet. Don't touch me. You going to get out of my face. That's what you going to do. Don't touch me. Do not touch me. and do not come into this bathroom. I'm not playing. Do not bring yourself in. >> She wouldn't leave the uh study room. >> What is that? Seriously, >> this man put his hands on me. He put his hands on me and I need >> All right, I'm going to go upstairs and clear out the rest of the library. >> I'll be right back. >> Okay, it's all on video. I need I need more and >> sir. It's time to leave. >> Yeah, the ones downstairs are open. >> Oh, okay. Thanks. >> Everybody gone? >> Except for >> her. All right, sir. We should be good. >> He had no reason until he can justify. What was your reason for putting your hands on you? What was your reason for threatening to detain you? What was your reason exactly? You don't have one. You're under arrest. You are under arrest. Put your hands behind your back. You're under arrest. Put your hands behind your back. You're under arrest. How am I under arrest? >> Because you're not listening to what I'm telling you to do. >> What am I under arrest for? >> Disorderly conduct. >> Persisting. You're not listening. >> How? It's I'm not even I don't even have to. >> You are under arrest. >> Mama, can I use the back here? >> Yes, ma'am. >> What is going on? >> We're leaving right now. >> Can you get my bag? >> Yes, please get her bag. I got her. >> No, you don't have me. You don't have me. I I would rather you Can you have Can you get me, please? >> You got your bag. >> Can you get me, please? >> Can you stop? >> No. >> You don't have no reason to do this. >> You're under arrest. Refusing to cooperate, she escalated to full persisting mode, flailing and retreating to the bathroom like some battle ready protagonist. Officers had to gently but firmly move her along, proving that actions have consequences, and she really earned hers. Some people live in constant turmoil, and she made it a public performance. >> What did I do? I was quiet and I was minding my business. I was quiet and I was minding my business. You're overexaggerating. That's what you're doing. But it's okay cuz it's going to be investigated. It's >> I hope so. >> It It is. I didn't do anything to you. You kept coming in that room bothering me for what? No. And I asked you. Who asked you to come in there? You said nobody asked you to come in there. You came in there on your own merit. So what was the reason? >> Because I got to clear out the library at the end of the night. >> But it's not 9:00 yet. >> It doesn't matter. The second floor gets cleared early. >> No, I was just there the other day and when they let me out, it was 8:55. Not happening. When when she came up there and told me to leave, it was 8:55. >> It was literally 8:55 when she told me to leave. >> What is the issue? >> That's because there was no officer there to clear out the room. >> No, it's because there is not closed. >> Just throw these told me. The lady told me that I did not have to leave the room until until basically now. >> You're doing what you want to do and you admitted that. I did not do anything. >> You were told by a police officer to leave the room. You got your light >> and I and I left. >> No, you didn't. No, you did not. >> Grab on me. >> Relax. >> All I need is somebody to view the video. You started grabbing on me. You wrong. >> It's my video. And yes, they will. >> It's a video from It's a video from the from the library. This is so wrong. >> It's my video. It's on my chest. >> You uh Sir, you need to understand that I was just assaulted by a whole male. You can't >> What are you talking about? Nobody assaulted you. >> Not you. I said I was just assaulted by a whole male. You have no You have no understanding of you grabbing on me and pulling on me and doing all that stuff that was completely unnecessary. Sorry. >> You wouldn't leave. >> I was on my way. >> So now that's why you got arrested. >> How would I leave and I was already on my way and I had my stuff on. You not making sense, man. I had my stuff on and I'm the one who called Lakewood police. >> No, I called the police. >> No, I called the police. I literally called the police and the lady spoke with me on the phone. I'm the one who called the police. >> All right, she's clear. >> All right, we're going to have a seat in the back of the car. >> I'm the one who called the police because I don't understand these situations. I didn't do anything. >> And and that's where they're coming. >> And where did you come from? Are you the I called the police. >> She kept to grab on me and stuff. Get in the car. I'll explain it to you. Okay. >> I told him and then he guess I was in there quiet and he talking about disorderly conduct. I didn't I wasn't doing anything. He came in there messing with me and I asked him who asked him to come in there. He said nobody asked me to come in there. I did it on my own. No, cuz I just was assaulted by a whole male. >> All right. >> All right. What happened? >> So clearing out the library. >> Okay. >> She was told told to leave the study room on the second floor. Okay. >> And she refused to. Said she didn't have to leave until 9:00. questioned her several times. >> She kept repeating, "It's not even 9:00 yet." Like a Cinderella obsessed with her curfew, suddenly treating time as more important than common sense. The officers stayed patient and controlled, but the drama queen energy was undeniable. By the time they bagged her stuff, chaos still had a front row seat, soaking up every last second. >> Leave and she refused. So then I finally had to put hands on her and we uh >> we struggled, >> got her out of the study room, >> told her to leave >> and she wouldn't leave. She went into the bathroom and called 911. >> Okay. >> So that's that's basically it. >> So just persisting or >> Yeah, persisting. And then uh she can bond out. >> So >> it's not even 9:00. The library is not even closed. How did I refuse? I swear to God. I'm so tired of this, man. I'm so tired of this. >> I am so tired of this, man. I'm going through enough, man. I'm so tired of this. I did not even do anything. It's not even 9:00. The library still technically is not even closed yet. What did I do? I did not do anything. God, I'm so tired of this. I did not do anything. Jeez, man. Oh. So, here's the deal. Listen to me. Listen to me. I'm going to explain it to you. So, the other officer told the other officer told me that he asked you to leave and you didn't leave. Didn't >> leave. Just I don't I don't want to hear an argument. I'm just explaining to you what I was told. Okay. >> The other officer asked you to leave. You didn't leave. You locked yourself in the bathroom. Do you have any more stuff in the library? >> What I told him was that my stuff was still in the room and I grabbed what I could. >> Is there still more stuff up there? >> I haven't. He I don't know. I went in the bathroom. >> There's a bag. >> There's a bag. Your headphones and all that stuff on my in my car. Is there any other bags or anything upstairs? >> That's the only bag that I have. But when he was pulling on me, my stuff was coming out of my bag. That's what I was telling him. >> We grabbed all that stuff. So, and as far as me leaving, if it's not even 9:00, what is the problem? I didn't refuse. I put all my stuff. I'm so tired of this, bro. like this is just wrong. And then you want to say disorderly conduct. He came in there bothering me. I didn't even speak. I barely even spoke to anybody while I was in the library. I was in the room by myself. >> How can I How can I do thisly conduct? And I was in there by myself all the way up until he came in there bothering me. He came in there messing with me. And then he tell me, >> stop stop over so we can confirm. >> You're under arrest for disorderly persisting. Okay. >> What? >> What's going to happen next? They go to the jail. >> What? >> Even strapped in the back of the cop car. Her drama didn't hit pause. Every nasty move screamed Tick- Tock School of Law graduate. Indignant, entitled, fully sure the universe owed her a compliance parade. She hadn't zipped it once, crying like a toddler denied candy. Who knew leaving a library could feel like negotiating world peace? >> You didn't leave. >> It's not 9:00. What? What was it? Why did I have to leave? I was on my way out of the door. >> He told you to leave. That's why you had to leave. >> Okay. When And I didn't have any clothes on. I did not have my jacket on or my shoes. When I started putting on my stuff, he came back in there and I was on my way out of the door and he started to grab on me. Like nothing is wrong with me not wanting to be grabbed on when I'm not being aggressive. I wasn't being threatening. I wasn't being violent towards nobody. >> Like what did I do? >> I'm the one who called y'all. I called y'all because I didn't know what to do. And he had he I've been assaulted by a man. My papers is in my bag. All of that stuff just happened. It literally just happened a couple of days ago. >> Yeah. He was forced to make you leave. That's why we're here now. And >> I want to know how did I refuse to leave if I didn't have my coat and stuff on. If I'm putting on my coat and stuff when I'm walking out of the door, what did I do? I get it. But if you listen to his verbal commands to exit the library and I I did not have my stuff on. It is winter outside. Do I not have time to put my coat and shoes on and put my stuff in my bag? I have my cords and everything. I had my phone charging. Did I not have time to put my stuff away before I left? That's what I was telling him when he got to grabbing on me. My stuff was still in the room. All I'm asking is somebody for somebody to understand that part. This is beyond me. I swear this is beyond me. Like I swear like I'm beginning to feel so unsafe in this city. This the second time that I got arrested in Lakewood for nothing. He came grabbing on me. The library wasn't even closed. How am I resisting to leave? Like this is so messed up. All her arguing, calling 911, and insisting she hadn't done anything came crashing down. The library doors closed behind her, but the story wasn't over. At the end of the day, she ended up at the police station, learning the hard way that persistence doesn't always pay. She was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. In the end, if you enjoyed the video, hit that like button and drop your thoughts in the comments. Let's see who stands out the most.
