crime transcends gender and age as individuals of all backgrounds including men women and children can be involved today we will discuss a shoplifting case where a young girl was caught stealing items from a store she and others involved were charged with Grand Theft for taking multiple items from the store on December 2nd 2023 the police received a report about a shoplifting incident at a store the caller indicated that three young girls were involved in the theft the officer was dispatched to investigate the situation gather information review security footage and determine the appropriate course of action I don't have a problem with it I really want I don't have a problem with it down I really want to you responding are you backing do it you responding are you backing back so basically these um three young ladies decide they want to walk through the store take merchandise not pay for it um so throughout the whole time the one in the gray um ate some pomegranate seeds and some pickles um didn't pay for them and she selected several pairs of underwear and a necklace and she gave it to the one in the camo and then the camo in turn concealed them on her person um the c one in the camo also had merchandise her own that she selected can sealed in her pockets and then miss doia in the black hoodie had a necklace and a pair of underwear she took the tags off of and put it in the pocket and um after that concealment they decided to walk out the store without when the officers arrived they searched the three young girls suspected of shoplifting following this the officer went to the CCTV footage room where the girls were seated a store employee provided details about the incident including information captured on the surveillance cameras and any other relevant observations related to the theft so um initially the two on or the one in the middle and the one in the camo stated they were 16 well then it turns out after we called parent because they were still 16 um I had mom go over their information mom said that she was actually 17 well that both of them were actually 17 but the one in the black hood is uh 16 so it's kind of where we're at so and none of them have ID what none of them have ID um explanation for why you did this yeah we we wrote down you wrote it down on the paper and I okay one in the camo is Mom's here cuz we we're going to release them yeah but when Mom said they were 17 so we have to proc where's your mom at she's on the way she on the way okay oh what's the tokens um so the one in the grade is looking at 1832 um one in the C looking at 1688 yeah and then one of the block 68 [Music] how's y's day going huh I said other than this how how's y''s day going a little uh a little little busy a lot better than [Music] yesterday what's your mom's uh phone number yeah what's her name what is it all right let's go down the line starting with you what's your first name Michaela sorry I don't know why I didn't know that spell it for me m a k a l a last name birth sir birthday you want to try that again I was born in so what you're saying that's 17 17 16 allegedly 16 I got Mom's [Music] in you said you got Mom first name her mom t a y l o r m last name the store employee confirmed confirmed that all three girls were involved in the shoplifting and that they had been caught in the act the officer collected detailed information from the employee and reviewed the CCTV footage clearly showing the girls participating in the theft yeah she can't really hear you there let's try this you just ride for merise you got a really soft voice the one in the camo m had um one in the camo had her pairs the one in the you do the same thing WR your first name your last time in birthday necklace and then the one in the gray well each got so I'm adopted so does it do my adopted name do you have a Lear permit you have nothing at all never had an ID of any kind I don't have a license just give me if you were in school and you were putting your first name your last name on a paper or something like that put that yeah put the name that you use so Nico cuz I don't use doia no more just put Nico you still want to first see these two I have to yeah yeah the 16-year-old just be a for and then she'll go to system y'all both have Learners permits or anything neither one of yall not on me I don't have one you have one no get a so y'all too the way it's going to work y going to be issued a summons a citation there's going to be a court date you're going to have to show it to the court date um you are going to go to jail you're going to get booked you're going to get process they're going to take a picture of of your U they're going to take a picture of you um and then after that you're going get released so once you get to the jail they should let let you make a phone call um I'd recommend getting a ride because as soon as they're done booking they relist okay so no B I'm the mom so no b no B what can I write her name her on I'm literally taking home and I'm going down there it's going to take it's going to take a minute put us all over social Med we don't oh okay you you're talking about SP County Crime aren't you on Facebook I don't want be all up they're gonna I'mma let you know um we we're not in control of that um they're more than likely going to post it CU they post every mug shot so we don't give yall their M shot be like hey post this um and y'all y'all will not be able to come back to this Walmart if cuz they the way their cameras are set up they'll get a picture of your face it's going to pop up S your criminal trespass they going to call us then you'll go to jail and then you'll have a warrant instead of a saltation so if she's already going to be there then if you want to you don't know how to spell that though I don't know how to spell m since it's my grandmother's name my mom's I'm wait it's because you're nervous how long ago did you call your mom I have no clue can I look to they live um I live in it'll take them a good 30 minutes I her okay [Music] I'm I know I know know you're nervous collected detailed accounts from each of the girls regarding their involvement in the theft including their actions and any motivations or reasons for the criminal act the girls provided a thorough account of the incident to the officer showing visible fear and emotional distress about the possibility of going to jail as this was their first criminal offense time sir yes got don't know we used to keep here is she going with you this one no her my mom's coming think I'm bad wa till you see her mom and dad I won't be here yeah yeah might going to take her with you is there an option for me to go with them uh not necessarily no you don't want to go with us me I don't know her mom's she might have anything y need them to sign or anything like that my mom probably will definitely considered a felony y just office so I do want you guys to understand that y'all are now B from Walmart um to come back here we will have to call them again and um they would we will be U filing Criminal Trespass charges so you're man from so as of right now because of y'all's ages we're only going to do this location but if say you guys go to another Walmart this happens again they pull you you know pull you up in the system to see your name that's an automatic [Music] charge is there you have to turn like come back come back unless they want to so this one just this one now normally they ban you from every Walmart and the Walmart properties like I said because of y'all's ages we're only doing this location but like I said if you go to another Walmart this happens again everything everything that taking place today is going to be documented in the Walmart system any Walmart or or any Walmart Sam's Club or any of its Affiliates has access to the same system we do so you might go in the Sam Club decide you want to do the same thing that can pull you up and now if they see that you guys already have a PRI that's an automatic pass charge plus whatever else charges they have so I want y'all understand y'all cannot come back to this one was she's the only one with the 27 the other two don't have oh so she's only actual the C got also if you get three shoplifting convictions it's a felony so y'all aren't good at it obviously so don't do it again swing your legs and watch your head later the three girls were presented in court facing charges of Grand Theft the court proceedings would determine their guilt and the appropriate legal consequences for their involvement in the shoplifting incident moving on to another troubling case young girls were again involved in shoplifting on January 10th 2024 the police received another call from the store reporting that two females were involved in shoplifting the officer responded apprehended both individuals and placed them in separate rooms for questioning and investigation I get a this door here thank I would have information ID but this is how much she this asked her what she was taking it for she said she wanted a confidence boost she wanted what a confidence boost all right did she give you a name yeah I have her ID and everything in there and um I got just TR to type this in really quickly to my system and then you guys can have this hope an item list but can you let us in here with hello hello so this is the ID she gave me and then she does also have like 626 F sorry you been arrested before no so the sheer amount that you took is a felony you could go to jail I know I was that well I didn't know it was that much I'm just asking have you gotten a ticket for shoplifting no anything nothing this the first time you st no no out at times just just from Target or like just small things though okay well I'm just asking there's a lot of factors that go into this okay was any of the stuff in the carart paid for no okay what did you do just up no she just tried to walk right out with it she went on the floor she put everything in her rable Bo apparel she tried covering the appar like the Cosmetics with the apparel items um she was like tucking in some like sexual Wellness stuff like behind the red bag to you know so we wouldn't be seen um and then she cut through one of these lanes over here and then walked by Starbucks and tried walking right out so I made contact with her right inside the vesal was able to bring her back they did they say not nothing yet still waiting if I didn't ask could you want to seeq on her too I mean 95 do it not do anything transport even if I um the officer moved them to separate interrogation rooms to ensure that each girl's statements were independent and to prevent any possible influence on each other this approach allowed for a more accurate and detailed investigation as the officer could focus on each girl's account of the shoplifting incident and Gather Comprehensive evidence screen it you think with no the store and selected these items right here uh put all these items inside that red bag and then when she once she got sub check out she never took these items back out the pay for and she also didn't scan these items but everything else in the car is paid for all the rest that is paid for yeah and the total ended up coming up to $100. 76 okay I I find out how to pay it huh I'll find out how to pay pleas take my baby will be taking from me nobody else I don't have anybody please I I know it was wrong and I'm sorry I really am 10 where your license said she has autis she I have nobody else Murphy's Gas Station Sam's Clubs as well as the park lot establishment all right so come back you will be arrested come trespass I'm go ahead sorry I really am I know have every day in and out and say they're sorry I so this fine don't hold anything against you my baby all right I'm going explain this to you like I do to everybody this is a uniform saltation for shoplifting okay he going to come with a court date and a time to go to court okay by signing this is not a mission of guilt it's just stating that I'm serving you with a uniform citation today I need you to sign right here on the SE statements made during the interrogation ensuring all procedural requirements were met for further legal action after completing the documentation for the girl in the white shirt the officer questioned the other female involved in the incident the officer gathered information about her role in the shoplifting and completed the necessary documentation didn't say that pleas no for her we have to find somebody come pick her up you told please please sweetie please I'm begging you I have no money for my baby please I will be at court January 11th I'm promise please do not take me to jail yeah call somebody come pick her up sorry I'm begging you I can you please with my please don't she's please sir please please I promise I will be there I don't want to lose my baby I'm taking you everything me please you don't have anybody to come pick her up no sorry I don't have any family my family's in Alabama my sister that's the only person I please pleas it's your call man it's your caller give me work baby hey um this lady that uh was shoplifting up here at Walmart um I'm writing her citation uh she has a little girl with her doesn't have anybody to come pick up the child what do I do in that situation shut up okay yeah I got get that I get people [Music] okay okay all righty I appreciate it um all right so I'm going to issue a citation today okay I'm going be honest with you if you had somebody come pick up that child you'd be going to jail thank you but since because of the circumstances I'm going to let you go with the sitation today okay um thank just you're going to be criminally trespassed from this location if you come back to this location come if you come back to any Walmart you'll be arrested okay I won't go you need to think about this kind of thing before you start taking stuff why even risk that right thank you later both females were presented in court facing charges of Grand Theft the court proceedings would address their involvement in the
