CAN YOU TELL HER STOP TOUCHING ME? Once the handcuffs clicked, Regina suddenly developed a very convenient case of [music] arrest induced asthma. It was hilarious how she had plenty of air to keep screaming, [music] but claimed she couldn't breathe the second she had to face consequences. She definitely needed a taser takedown to help her find some focus [music] and silence. >> I'll have this other officer grab my water. Okay, here we go. Where we going? We're going to walk over here. Okay. Thank you so much. What's your name? Regina McLaren. >> Regina. Okay. I need to be released on these handcuffs now. >> Okay. Well, right now until I know what's going on, I'm not released by email. >> Can she please remove from please? I want her away from me >> right now. We're going to face the car. >> Okay, that's fine. Okay. >> I don't have nothing. I don't have to search me. >> Okay. >> What's going on? >> You don't got nothing on you? Oh, I'm out of pockets. >> Okay. All right. I'm just going to pat you down. Okay. I see you're upset. >> Why are you patting me down if I didn't do nothing wrong? >> Regina, here's the deal. You're in handcuffs. I got to make sure you don't have any weapons on you. >> They all just told you guys I didn't touch her. >> I just got here. Okay. That's not fair. Here's the deal. It's all wrong. >> Here's the deal. Listen, other men. >> Listen, I can't look at the video until I have you calm down. Okay? >> We're going to sit in the squad car here. Okay? >> I'm not sitting in that squad car. I didn't I didn't get arrested. I didn't do anything wrong. >> You We're going to have you sit in the squad car and then we're going to investigate what happened. I'm not sitting in that swat car. I have plastic fo my mari out of breath. I try to need my haler. >> Tackled me without my haler. Okay. Sit on the curb. >> I will sit down or stand up, but I'm I'm not going to go anywhere. >> Sit down. You're going to sit down. >> I can't breathe. Sorry. >> I'm going to stand right here. I promise I won't go anywhere. I promise I won't. My mom, she's gone. But they got everything. Just go look at their record. >> No, they don't. My mom left. >> But they have everything on the camera. >> I'm going to go and figure out what's going on here. >> Um my my phone is on that. My phone's on my car. on top my car hook. Go get it, please. >> Okay, Regina, >> I'm not going. I promise you I'm not. >> Okay, just I don't want you to fall off the curb. Just >> I'm just saying she keeps on touching me and I have problems. Stop touching me, please. So, here's the deal. >> I'm already hot. I'm saying if you touch me, it's not making me >> Here's the deal. I just don't want you to fall. >> I'm not going to fall. But you said I don't want you guys to touch me. If you touch me, then have I'm not I'm hot. Sorry, I cannot. >> Okay, >> but I'm not going to go there. You stop. Just let me go, please. >> Here's the issue. By policy, you're detained. Okay, we can't breathe. >> That's fine. I'm not I don't understand. Can you just hang tight right here? >> Just at least this one a little bit. She got this is way too tight. >> Okay, just keep breathing for us. I can adjust that. >> Thank you so much. Can I tell you guys what happened? Long story. They even You guys can show them the camera. Please come show them the camera. >> She detained me. >> I'll come over and see it. >> No, no, just calm down cuz I'll tell my mom. >> Hold on. You got cuffs on you. I'm just going to read you your rights, okay? Because I don't want you to say anything that, you know, could possibly incriminate you. So, I just want to make sure we're doing this the right way. Okay. >> Okay. That's cool. >> And they got to read you your rights. Okay. >> I touched her, but I never touched her one time. She touches you guys. She put her hands on me first. >> Regina, right? It's Regina. >> It's what you going to say. I don't have no warrants. >> Okay, here's the deal. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can will be used against you in a court of law. If you decide to answer questions now without a lawyer present, you have the right to stop the question. You remain silent anytime you own and the right to ask for a lawyer anytime you wish, including during the question. Do you understand these rights? >> Yes, I do. She's going to get sued. >> Okay. >> Realize you understand these rights. You want to make a statement? >> I understand. Yes, I do. >> Regina waved her business owner status as if a tax ID gives someone a license to hit cops. She demanded to be released and threatened to sue everyone, [music] showing her true colors as a spoiled adult. It was embarrassing to watch her acting like a spoiled rotten toddler who never heard no before. >> So, what happened? >> They were trying to tow my truck. My confidence gave me permission to park my car there. He said it was okay. They still called the police. >> Who said he or who's he? >> Him. Zack. >> The guy in the blue shirt. >> And who is he? >> He's the apartment people. So, um, long story short, the lady came. She was trying to record my VIN number and license plate. All I ask her like, "Ma'am, >> can you tell me why that you want this information?" >> And who's who's her? Who's the lady? >> The other police officer. I don't know her name. She never even told me her name on the scene. >> Okay. >> She hopped on the scene, didn't tell me the name. Why she wanted my information? I said, "Ma'am, I do have the right to know. Why are you taking my >> Where was your car?" >> Right back there. >> It's that white one. >> Mhm. >> Okay. >> I said, "I do have the right to know. Why are you taking my information now?" She will not tell me. It's okay. You're not going to copy my information then you're not going to tell me why I do have the right to know. You know what I'm saying? She will not tell me she was as nine. So I'm like blocking right in front of us. So she couldn't take my license plate down. So she's pushing me. >> Okay. >> I'm lifting my hands. I'm not touching. I'm not touching. So then she decides to say stop resisting. Then she allowed that man to put his hands on me. I said, "You have no like he's like he's" Then she was like, "I'm here to help her. How are you here to help her? You're not a police officer." She allowed that man to slam me down, throw me on the ground with some more stuff. Okay. So, I want to press charges against >> So, this was all on video. >> All on video. They have all on video. I like to press charges on him and their company. >> So, so this tow company was here already. >> Yeah, they were already here. >> Okay. >> But then the manager said that you could park your car there cuz you were here to visit family. >> Yep. >> No, I live here. >> You live here? >> I live here. She allowed the man to touch me, too. >> I'm talking you I hear you. Okay. >> Are you injured at all? >> Yes. >> Where are you injured? >> My back. She put her knee in my back really bad. Then she also she kept on me. She kept on ending me. I'm going to go in a little bit soon. >> Do you need an ambulance right now? >> Not right now, but I'm going to go so I can make sure I get that reported so I can make sure I sue her. >> Okay. >> I know. She's messed with the wrong business owner. I'm a business owner. You don't do that to a wrong business owner now that I have. >> So, we're going to watch all the video, get everything figured out. Okay. >> No, I can call. No. No. Bring my phone over here, please. >> No, you're not going to be able to use a phone. You're not going to be able to use >> FaceTime. FaceTime daddy. >> And you can put the phone in my face. I can't. >> No. No. You can't. You're detained right now. >> Get this figured out. with this then you can call whoever you want. You're not talking. You're not talking to anybody right now. >> I can't talk to you. I have the right talk to anybody. >> We're going to put her in the SWAT in the squad. >> Yep. You're being detained right now. Okay. So, you can't talk to anybody. >> We're investigating so I can't have you calling people that have >> Can they walk this way? >> Sit right now. Okay. >> We're just going to have you sit in the car right now. >> They just trying to detain you. Hold on. >> You are detained. You're in handcuffs. >> They trying. You don't got >> I'm telling you what's happening. >> I'm telling you what's happening. I'm just saying you're not able to talk to anybody right now. >> Just put your feet in. We'll get the air going. Okay. I can't >> I can't talk to my daughter. >> Not right now. >> No, that he can talk to you. That's my dad. My dad has the right to talk to you. >> No, he doesn't. >> I will talk to you in a minute, sir. Okay. Thank you. Appreciate it. >> I'm not I didn't do anything wrong. Again, I'm not I'm not >> We're just We're just trying to do an investigation. >> How long? >> How long it takes to >> She spent all her time spinning a fairy tale about being slammed and [music] assaulted. She tried to talk to her daddy as if a parent's permission could override a set of handcuffs. It was pathetic to watch a grown woman behave like a toddler who got her favorite toy taken away at recess. >> All right, we're still trying to figure this out. It sounds like there was a dispute over there was a toe or something. Her vehicle was getting towed. An officer responded out and then a physical inter uh physical interaction happened between her and the officer. I'm still trying to sort it all out. Okay. >> Okay. Um, I'm keeping I want you guys to I'll let you talk to her once I can figure out what's going on and what's happening, but right now she just she's in handcuffs. She's detained. There was a physical fight. >> I understand. I understand. >> I just don't want anything to anything to blow up. >> So, that's what's happening. Okay. And then that's when I heard shouting coming from behind the vehicle. And um I I just kind of looked over over my shoulder like this because I was kind of turning this way. And I looked over my shoulder like that. And that's when I seen the cop's hand in the air like this. And then the lady you have in custody custody was kind of like this, >> you know. So they were like this, you know. >> Um >> do you know who had whose arm? uh the the police officer had okay the your your guys' detainy uh kind of like this and they were struggling a little bit and that's when I was like oh it's a fight you know so then I ran over approached the driver's side of the vehicle uh behind the vehicle and that's when uh your police officer had her kind of up against the car sandwiched and they were uh struggling visibly um you know and your police officer was kind of struggling to control her hands. Um, and uh, the lady you have in custody, she had her cell phone in one hand and a fist in the other. Um, and that's when she was like, "Help me. Help me. Uh, call the cops." Or, you know, I don't remember exactly what she said. And I just said to her, I was like, "I'm not here for you." You know, um, and then I just kind of left it all alone and I just kind of stood there and made sure that uh, your police officer was okay. Um and uh then she got her hand free and started kind of flailing around and that's I grabbed her hand and kind of stopped it from flailing because your police officer was kind of getting hit. Um so uh at that point I just kind of had her hand and then when your police officer regained control it's all on video. >> Uh when your police officer regained control I let go of you. Uh, and then at one point the struggle still ensuing, uh, the lady you have in custody got loose and that's when I just kind of come came up from the side of her and I just kind of grabbed her in a bear hug right around the waist. I didn't move. I didn't thrust to tip her over or anything like that. I just kind of held her in place, you know, kind of using my weight to stop her from running away cuz she was fully away from your police officer at that point. Um, at that point then your police officer regained control of her. Uh, took her to the ground, got her hands behind her back. Um, and uh, the lady you have in custody was y custody was yelling, "Uh, he's touching me. I'm not supposed to have a man touching me." Uh, and then when I grabbed her, she said, "He'sing me." >> Regina's day ended with a ride in the back of a squad car, which was far less comfortable than her improperly parked truck. [music] Her constant screaming and fake medical emergencies failed to impress anyone, especially the officers who had seen this act a thousand times before. She learned the hard way that freedom [music] of speech doesn't include hitting cops. The woman was charged with obstructing and battery on a law enforcement officer.
