she she's on drugs she was check her because she was hi sh on January 16th 2024 a police officer responded to a report of reckless driving where a female reported that another female driver had hit her car the officer arrived at the scene and conducted a traffic stop to address the situation you have any injuries my back is hurting my neck back my NE right here my head is burning I don't know I see what's going on up there but it's burning really bad you Mom too that's my car this is my girl oh you had nothing to do with that CRA no she just I live right down the street she called me she just left that was that she she's on drugs she was check her because she was hiding stuff she was hiding stuff she was throwing stuff underneath the car she was baby I'm going to jail rumaging through things she tried to drive away she threw the bottle out the car she's on drugs upon arriving at the scene the officer spoke with the victim's family the female victim was visibly distressed crying as she reported that the other driver had been throwing bottles from her vehicle and appeared extremely drunk you're saying this came from her from her car she threw it out the car um what's your first name m and what's your last name okay um you are the driver which vehicle I'm sorry oh this one this one okay and that's your your vehicle okay were you the only driver in there yeah okay you mind telling me what happened honestly I have no idea because I didn't see them and I had my lights like my glasses on so I see everything I had no idea this is honestly my first car accident okay so I have no okay I got you all right so um so you said that you did not see them in front of you no okay not even their lights or the hazards like none of the above and I've never been in the car foring period I'm sorry you never what been in a car wreck foring period okay okay sorry speak low so the crash investigation part of it has been finished um so now this opens up to a DUI investigation okay um so it is going to be investigation you're you're under investigation okay all right so I'm just going to read you the Miranda Rights prior to speaking to you and then we're going to go from there okay the victim's detailed account indicated a serious issue with the driver's behavior and level of intoxication when the officer approached the driver it was clear she was in an extremely intoxicated state so um would you be willing to participate in what's called roadside test uh you basically do a series of activities um I'll explain how they go I'm sorry no okay so I would explain how what you need to do and if you have any questions we can go through it um but it's basically a series of task I'll demonstrate it for you prior to you doing it okay mhm would you be willing to you are going to take a series of nine steps okay and you're going to count it out loud so it should like it should look like this one 2 3 4 and you're going to continue until 9 When You Reach 9 you're going to keep your left foot on the line and you're going to take a series of small steps turning okay and then you're going to count going the opposite way and you're going to count to nine also okay so you want me to do nine steps and then turn yep and you're going to turn and then count nine steps again okay do you have any questions before we start so nine steps and then turn yep nine steps this way you can turn either way as long as you keep a left foot on the line and then make a series of small turns while keeping the one left foot on the line okay and then you're going to walk that you're counting out loud 3 4 5 I can't to verify her level of intoxication the officer asked her to perform several sobriety tests these tests were intended to objectively measure her impairment showing significant impairment her poor performance in both tests confirmed that she was driving under the influence of alcohol okay perfect so now if I say right finger do you know your right finger do you know your right hand okay do you know your left hand okay there you go so you're going to touch the tip of your nose you're going to keep your eyes closed and you're going to go like this and and showing clear distress her emotional reactions indicated a strong desire to avoid the charges do you have the key I can't charge my key do you have any other jewelry on you or anything that's for a DUI this could have been a homicide because if something would have happened to them especially they had a little baby in the car if something would have happened to the baby I'm yep so if something would have happened to them or the baby you would have been getting charged with the problem was I didn't even see their car that's the worst part and I had my glasses I appreciate it I understand it but I promise you this is not the end of the world it's not you'll see it take it a Learning lesson these things happen unfortunately sometimes you have to take my friend go through this already I I had to support her all right so you should have known a little bit better right I mean yeah but like I understand so the let me cover you up so you're not okay don't worry no I don't want you to exp I'm nice don't worry I know but I don't want you to expose there's a whole bunch of weirdos out here so we don't need to have you exposed okay so listen this could have been a lot worse
