on June 20th 20124 an off-duty Atlanta police officer working security at the red Martini Restaurant and Lounge located in Buckhead Georgia noticed a disturbance next door outside Moon's bar while trying to escort a woman away to calm things down another woman identified as no other than Douglas County Probate Judge Christina Peterson judge Peterson approached shouting at both the officer and a security guard things escalated when Peterson shoved the officer in the chest and repeatedly swiped at his hands interrupting efforts to resolve the situation peacefully in this video you'll see judge nightclub in Buckhead Georgia judge Peterson who served in the Douglas County Probate Court faced numerous accusations of violating the code of judicial conduct the state's judicial qualifications commission found a pattern of misconduct during her time in office after reviewing the case the hearing panel concluded that judge Peterson had indeed violated multiple rules serious enough to Warrant her removal the Supreme Court agreed with this assessment therefore the court ordered Peterson's immediate removal as a result she is barred from holding any judicial office in Georgia for the next 7
