a private gain in Bristol Tennessee Police Officer Phil kirzanowski stopped a car because it had tinted windows Sam Lundberg daughter of Tennessee State Senator John Lundberg is driving the car you know how dark their window tint is oh officer McDaniel checked it last week I swear to you he pulled me over for it you can check it though but yeah yeah he pulled me ever last week for it but he checked it and said it was gone officer kirzowski asked Sam to call her Senator dad to save the police from the heartache of pressing charges you also well we all know your window tint's real dark and I don't believe that's that's um no no I didn't um just like I said one call from your dad would probably make all this go away Senator Lundberg called his friend police chief Blaine Wade to complain about the officers disrespect for the law the police chief then fired the officer but Senator Lundberg regretted his interference and tried to get officer kersnowski reinstated I regret frankly picking up the phone and calling the chief Senator Lumberg told us he didn't call the chief to try and get his daughter out of the ticket absolutely not anyway instead he said he was making light of the fact that not only his daughter received a ticket that day at the time I thought it was actually really kind of funny so did his wife for speeding since I have a personal relationship with the chief I called him and I was truly laughing and said hey chief I'm on the way back from Nashville I'm about an hour away if you're targeting my entire family I'll be there and they said we're not targeting your family Lundberg says those comments came with an invitation to visit the police department the next day review the body camera footage and measure the Senator's window tint he was at his desk and he said there literally he said there's the officer's badge on my desk my reaction is fired for what this just shows what a man with power can do to another man's career if he uses his public office for private gain this high-powered woman that got slammed for berating cops during a traffic stop is breaking your silence at last Karen Turner admitted that her emotions got the better
