They just see cops or they don't see me here. They're just nosy. I just single, three kids trying to survive. >> On October 29th, 2024, officers responded to a call about unsafe living conditions at a home in Farmington, New Mexico. How are you? >> What's going on? We got a call to just come check up on you. Is your mom home? >> A call? >> Who called you? >> Just a concerned citizen. >> Hi. Is your mom home? >> She's not home. >> Okay. >> Like no one knows like >> I can call her. >> Okay. >> Do you have a phone number for her? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Yeah. Get us a call or for anything. >> Yep. And you're here cuz you're trying to keep my brother in here. >> No, no, no, no. We just came to do um just to check on you guys. See if >> someone was concerned. >> Well, we are we are doing okay. >> What's your dog's name? >> Well, we have >> Well, we have four of them. >> Total and we have two mamas, Farmer and Maple. They both have two babies. >> And then we have the daddy dog, which is pink. >> What kind of dogs are they? >> Well, I think >> that's my whole bag. >> Bag. >> Don't tear it. >> How was school today? >> We're good. You go to FHS? >> Yeah. Nice. >> I might have to ask my mom and she has like a spare work apron. >> Guess what? Mom's going to be barbecue dad versus sports mom versus soccer mom. So, you can dress up like a soccer player or it can be like a barbecue. >> Yeah. I Yeah. I like an apron. So I can be like the >> Yeah. >> Golly, I'm going to get this thing taken out. >> What day is trash day? Do you know? >> I think it's Tuesday. >> Tuesday. Okay. Today. >> Today is Tuesday. Today is Tuesday. >> Oh [ __ ] I got to take it out this morning. Uh >> oh. And I got to wait a week. Uh >> oh. >> I got to wait till Tuesday. I got to wait till next Tuesday. Damn it. >> Dang it. >> I know. >> Damn it. >> I always forget trash day, too. Okay. >> Yeah. >> I get all of us. Even my mom and she forgot as well. Yeah. Man, things going crazy. >> Do you know how long it'll be before your mom gets home? >> Well, normally she hangs out with a boyfriend in that deck. >> But I don't know how long it takes. Maybe like I don't know, man. Like I don't know, maybe like half an hour. Maybe like maybe like 45 55 minutes. Oh, okay. >> I mean, I mean, it's pretty far. >> Yeah, it's kind of far, huh? >> Hey, if you guys were ever hurt, what would you guys do? Is it funny if you guys got hurt? >> We would probably need to like find someone. >> Yeah, that's why mom left us. That's how mom uses her phone so we can probably get >> Okay. So, how would you guys call for help if you guys needed help? 5741. >> Do you guys help? No. >> Do you guys know how to call for us if you need us for help? >> 911. Yeah. >> 911. >> 911. Yes. Do you guys know your neighbors? >> Not really. Well, I do know the guy right I do know the guy right in front of us is Sean. >> Okay. >> Okay. Yep. >> And then that trailer right there. >> That's where bro that's where Yeah. Well, Black Her brothers hangs out. That trailer that is where freaking Julian hangs out at. >> Okay. >> Yeah. Yeah. And and her friend Maria, she just like she's just like right across. >> Oh, okay. Okay. Well, we'll get away for you all here, guys. Okay. So, just so you guys are aware. >> Yeah, I'm aware. >> We're not You guys aren't in trouble. We're just making sure you guys are okay. >> Yeah, we all right. >> So, if you guys needed to go somewhere, how would you guys find somebody to go somewhere with? >> Go somewhere. [Applause] really go anywhere. >> I mean, sometimes we went to get to market for like a drink. >> I mean, good. How are you? >> Not too bad. Working? >> Yeah. >> Okay. I'm going to have you keep your hands out of your pocket, sir. Thank you. >> I'm not being investigated, so why why you harvesting me? I'm not. I just asked you to keep your hands out of your pocket, sir. >> She's targeting me for some reason. I've already heard that she's been spreading all kinds of bad juju. I dare not do a thing to this person. What she or who whoever it was? >> She Well, she's kind of his sister. They grew up together when they were kids. >> Her her dad used to date his mom. >> Okay. >> And I [ __ ] thing to this person. I barely talked to him. He already told me that she was talking to him earlier, >> saying all seeing all kinds of things about >> and I was at work at the most. >> I mean, her and I don't get along, but I haven't done the same thing to her and I think she's she's making it personal is what she's doing. >> So, um, but I I I realized that I was not here, but I wasn't even 10 15 minutes before you call me. >> Where are we? >> Uh I'll do some side work for a friend who makes much money. >> I only get paid every two weeks. >> Okay. Okay. Cuz you're still at >> Yeah. But it's it's just right. So >> for a very long time and as far as living conditions as well. meaning >> puppies away and then dogs being disposed of. What? Whatever. I don't know. Okay. This is just what I'm getting as far as Okay. >> Why don't you Okay. >> I mean, I do have I do have four dogs. Okay. >> And I do have four puppies, but >> So, you can only have four dogs. Okay. You know that thing. >> So, I have to get rid of two dogs or can I just get rid of the puppies? That's all I'm waiting for as soon as they're old enough. >> But that's still a couple weeks, >> right? No. And they're still babies. >> And that that's something I'd have to talk to animals about. I don't know to be honest with you cuz we don't deal with you know animals and what have you. >> So do they. >> We've had them for a while. We've not really had any problems. >> Right. But you're neglecting me. Nobody over here even knows that he comes over. Nobody calls me. Nobody talks to me. No one says hi. But I leave my kids alone for more than 5 minutes. And I've got SWAT team up >> all over the damn neighborhood. I am not anybody in here. I am just a single mother with three kids trying to survive. >> Are you and and do you have >> I don't have any money for anything. They offer all that CI. They already talked to me about that multiple 200 times. And have you tried to seek any help or things? >> I know about the whole Medicaid transport and public appointments and they want me to do classes and all this other stuff. And >> have you have you accept that or is there any type of >> I gave them my number, but it's out of service right now. So the only way you could reach me is here at the house or maybe at work and so um you said your phone's out of service. >> It's a food staff phone. It's out of minutes. >> Okay. So whose phone is your daughter? >> It's my phone. It like you can still call but like I I don't have any data or anything like that. Sometimes she gets the call, sometimes she doesn't. Okay. cuz she called you perfectly fine. >> She's probably using That's why my phone says it's over minutes >> because it only gets five gigs and they said I've got like >> Okay. >> Yeah, it's over my limit. Okay. >> So, I mean, she's able to make phone calls, right? It's a lot of excuses that I'm getting. Okay. And not a lot of accountability at this point. >> Okay. Um, so game plan for today. >> I can never leave my house again. >> No. We're waiting for CYFD to show up. Okay. We're going to do a visit inside. Okay. And they're probably going to talk to you. They're probably going to detect the kiddos as far as that goes and do their investigation. Okay. Uh for right now, I do need to do a walk through for the house because they're going to call and update them as far as what I see. Um and then we'll go which direction they're actually. Will you stand by with this officer? 117. >> Well, you can have your minute right here. Okay. I'm just going to stand here with you. You can have your minute. And when you don't stay here, where do you stay? Do you stay with him at his house? Sometimes I'm not gone all the time like everybody's seen. >> Okay. >> People don't even know what's going on. They just see cops or they don't see me here. They're just being nosy. They have no idea what's going on with me right now. >> And this is all just bunch of added drama that's completely unnecessary. I didn't do anything to anybody. I have no parents, no family. I have nobody around here. It's just me. And if people are doing this to just to start trouble, then I don't know. So on their way, they should be here from the office here. I'd say probably 20 minutes, give or take. So we'll just wait for them and then we'll all just do the home visit so we can get that. Okay. >> 710. >> Okay. Yeah. >> Have a good night. >> All right. Let's get your information real quick. Your first name. >> Okay. And the oldest is Chris. >> Okay. Is that short for Christopher or the last? It looks like that's same last name. That's a gray color. >> Okay. And then the next one was >> Gabriel. [Applause] And then I know Kayn. How do you spell her name though? >> K A Y L Y N. >> Remember that cuz that's my name too. So that is [Music] >> quiet. I'm shut the door. It's chilly out. >> So, like I said, C do their visit as well as we do have to do a whole group questions to talk to about too. Um, so as far as you said, where where does everyone sleep? >> Most Well, they have their rooms, but mostly we sleep in here cuz we don't have the internet at the moment, so we watch movies. >> Yeah. But the only the only escape. Please, please. >> Okay. We can walk out back if we need to. >> Whoever wants to come talk to me first. >> No one's in trouble. You guys are in trouble. >> You just [Music] Is there anything in there? What is that? Okay, karma. >> It's okay. Don't go do anything. [Music] [Music] Yeah, there's no internet here. >> Oh, dang it. Yeah, I remember you telling me there's no internet here. >> Oh, you usually sleep in here and hang out. >> Yeah, I usually sleep here. >> Okay. Do you watch TV in here sometimes? >> If there's internet here, I could, but for right now, there's no internet. >> No. Okay, cool. >> Can I look back there? Is that a bathroom? What is that? >> Yeah, sorry, but that one's off limits. It's the bathroom, but you don't want to look in there. >> All right, I won't look in there. All right. Well, cool. Nice little hangout spot. I appreciate it. We'll come talk to you here in a minute. I know you don't want to talk to that lady. She usually >> Okay. >> Okay. All right. Well, thanks for talking to me, Chris. I like your TV. I'll see you. You want me to shut this? >> All right. I can do that for you. [Music] Okay. Um, so she does have a spare backpack. Okay. >> But the backpack that she had with her today is in my buddy's car. >> Okay. >> Would he be allowed to just bring it back to her? >> Is that the your friend that was here with you? >> Yeah, the one that brought me back. >> Okay. Um, and she needs that for school, right? >> Yeah. She has a spare backpack, but that one has all like has all her stuff in it right now. >> Would he be allowed just to bring it by? >> Where? Hold on here. He doesn't have to stay or have her have it drop it off at CFD if he doesn't it doesn't have to be necessarily at night in the morning. >> It's right there on Farmington >> Farmington. >> Right up past the library. >> Okay. >> Yeah. I know you guys where you guys give them I'll give you >> So it's the one just up the hill next to the horse ranch. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Just have him drop it off there for a few. >> Yeah, >> I can I can do that. >> Okay, that' be better. That way we can just >> We'll drop it off. >> Okay, you guys got your shoes. I know. I lost. >> You guys got your stuff? >> Oh, we're having So, we're just having to stay the night with you guys. >> Yep. You're going to stay the night over here. So, let's grab your bag and you can put it. Your brother's in the car already. Okay. >> Yep. And the thing is, will we be back home tomorrow? >> Um, just depends. >> Depends. That's possible. >> Yeah, >> possible. I came out myself. >> That's okay. >> Just that for the night. That's okay. >> It'll be okay, you guys. Give it a second. >> Okay. But I just hope we come back. The thing is, if we have to get tickets to the first home, we need to get brought back so I can take the suitcase and everything else with me. >> That's okay. I just hope we'll be able to actually come back home. >> Yeah. >> They're not taking us forever. >> They're actually making a school. >> Oh, yeah. You guys will go to school. >> So embarrassing. >> And let's say And let's say it's actually a spir. So, I hope you have an apron over at CFD cuz I do a barbecue dance. It's like on Wednesday there's like a drink we going in my school. Wednesday it's like barbecue dance versus soccer mom. There's like a soccer player or like a like a dad cooking like a barbecue. I don't do that. So, yeah. I need like an apron or something. >> Perfect. An apron. Okay. We'll see what we got. >> Yeah. Like I don't care if it's like a green apron, a blue apron, a black apron. >> Just an apron. >> Apron. >> Just Just like any apron. Just like any apron. just like the moon. >> Okay. >> I just hope I just hope we can get these dogs taken care of. >> Yeah. Yeah. We'll get >> Well, let's get you in the vehicle.
