Punch snatchers are using high-powered e-bikes to evade police officers, utilizing the traffic and the heavy pedestrianized areas to get away from police and make their escape. That's why we have these Sur Rons. That's why we're changing the way that we pursue these criminals. In today's operation, we've got 10 police [music] Sur Rons out. They're agile enough to keep up with those offenders when they're coming up through alleyways, no entries, areas that police can't get to. We're giving the officers the ability to keep agile and speedy enough [music] to keep pressure on those offenders so that we can catch them and make sure that they can't get an easy escape. But this is just one operation. This year we've seized over 2,500 illegal e-bikes and scooters, taking them off the road and targeting this kind of criminality. >> E-bike is making off.
