driver pull over now yeah she's not pulling over up up Friday January 3rd 2025 Finley Ohio police receive a call from a store reporting a recent theft they inform officers that a woman had left the store without paying for the items that she took officers are dispatched to the store to take statements from Witnesses and gather potential video footage to identify the thief and track her down at first it seems like a simple shoplifting case with no weapons involved and no one in immediate danger however the police could never have known how much further this would escalate I'm Tyler and this is your daily dose of crime hi hi we just had a lady walk out with two of our bog bags with products stucked into them um here's my video of her I was right here and then I was just trying to get a license plate with a co uh boots on I just saw you walk out of my store with two bog bags filled with stuff they were cuz they wer in she said that's not my stuff she goes that's not your stuff you I literally just saw you walk out someone finds that vehicle the items will be in the trunk upon arriving at the store one of the officers is greeted by the manager the officer receives initial statements in video showing the woman who stole the items the video not only shows her leaving the products behind but also captures her face and the license plate of her vehicle police then begin the process of identifying the suspect and launching a full search in the surrounding area to apprehender it didn't seem like it would be anything complicated for now the vacial female just walked out of the store with multiple bags of items still in the parking lot wearing a light gr coat silver Honda cord they're leaving out of the parking lot now trying to get a direction headquarters you said it was a silver Honda she said a cord we're working on RP now put me one in the area on Tiff Avenue was she by herself is you want to shoot over to F or whoever's behind me there and go that way yeah this is it I don't think she's going to stop headquarters we're westbound trying to catch up to driver stop your car you and the Honda stop your car no pull over and stop right now the woman identified as Angelica Deo is located on cr99 in Finley shortly after the search is initiated an officer in the patrol vehicle activates the siren and orders her to pull over but she ignores the command and speeds up reports would indicate that the thief had no intention of stopping forcing the police to initiate a Pursuit was this really just a simple theft and what was the suspect hiding that made her decide to [Music] flee where up now we're stuck in traffic she's uh responding to the PA think she's going to stop here at rinek contact know the direction of going north on 75 ask for assistance [Music] course I'll be with him I'll be calling the pursuit get us on Pursuit [Music] chel once heading north on I75 the suspect immediately accelerates overtaking a truck in front of her and quickly reaches estimated speeds of 115 mph the Finley Police Department contacts the Ohio State Patrol for assistance in the chase the thief is now getting away and they cannot catch up with her Deo shows no signs of slowing down weaving through traffic and putting everyone in danger of a potential crash what began as a minor theft quickly escalated into a serious crime Angelica had to be stopped before it was too late or something worse happened traffic move for we're going to be continuing Northbound under the overpass here good direction here now we're going to be uh westbound on 25 pit they just took a pit pit on head up hands up get off I got anybody in the back one in custody what I do what you do what I do tell me what I do stealing from [Music] Dicks y get a big reward huh B indifferent insulting them and only seems concerned about her vehicle wallet and her phone she shows no awareness of the gravity of the situation requesting her phone and wanting to contact her mother about her baby the suspect justifies her Escape by claiming that she only knows the laws of Toledo and was trying to get there a reprimand for Reckless Behavior is the only response to her plea Ain but a with a badge all of y'all good work good work officer good work dumb asses for a purse yall slow as did all that for a purse and they just my car up now I really ain't got to pay for my car hey hey I'm trying to get open the door and he keep touching my mother wallet like you about to touch my money why is y'all in my money the evidence is in the trunk they said she put it in the trunk okay some pictures let's take my phone off the hood please oh yeah we'll get there you're not getting it though so I mean I just want to call make sure my baby dad get my daughter that's it if you would have stopped in Finley and we would have wrote you a court Deb and you would have left and then you could have called your dad or your baby dad and your da I know how Finley works so I wanted to get to too Toledo and that what what's happened you got pburg and then I'm like perryburg so I was like let me get to Toledo it's terrible excuses all right but no you're not going to use your phone your mama [ __ ] your ugly kids te y lucky goddamn Bel child after inspecting the the stolen items and finding no further evidence in the vehicle officers are left feeling frustrated what was this all about was a petty theft really worth placing so many lives at risk keep an honor she's pissed off out cuz I yelled at her well which all her fault yeah you have her license I'm just I'll tell you right now perisburg Township OSP and Rossford Police Department I'm uh just going to take and take her back that's fine I hi Angelica yeah he come with me you're going to go for a ride do I get in trouble for hitting his car what do I get in trouble for hitting his car I don't know if he hit your car but no that's part of our proced no I said do I get in trouble cuz my car hit the car I got to go to Finley yeah we're going to go all the way back to Finley so right now you're under arrest for the theft at Dicks and for the pursuit for fleeing and alluding okay yeah I didn't know I didn't know I try to get back to to oh since we're not going to do a formal interview um I I just since we're not going to do that I'm not going to read your rights okay but I might ask you some basic questions about um your address and stuff like that um that's not part of a inter interrogation or a custodial interview it's just basic questions about residency and things like that and your identity okay Angelica Deo age 30 is arrested for petty theft with a $500 Bond and due to her attempts to flee and evade police she will face trial additionally authorities are seeking a charge of aggravated assault on a police officer and the estimated sentence could include years in prison probation or restitution depending on the circumstances and her prior Criminal history
