29th of 2024 quickly turned into a harrowing encounter for a mother and her 2-year-old daughter after completing her shopping around 700 p.m. the mother returned to her vehicle and secured her child in the car seat to her shock she then noticed a man hiding under a pile of clothing inside of the car I'm Tyler and this is your daily dose of [Music] crime the Intruder later identified as 58-year-old Timothy cald from Jacksonville Arkansas attempted to grab the child and the mother immediately confronted him leading to a brief struggle during which she had successfully freed the daughter from his grasp Witnesses in the parking lot intervened preventing the man from escaping until law enforcement could arrive in the there watch out back out get out the way watch out where's he somebody I thought shot me some dude on a bike wearing a kind of like a I don't know like a bug uniform a bug uniform yeah you know like a face uh a mask okay okay I'm not seeing not see any blood are you hurting anywhere got a massive headache from the front or in the back okay yeah I mean like I said you got to scratch right there right there but I am not seeing anything else you got a wallet on so you don't know that man at all no I'm not I grew up here at Tennessee now I came down for a baby appointment with my mom we came here to get us use is that your mom out there yes okay and I put her in the truck I had her latched in and everything like I said I'm traveling Louisiana I have blankets and stuff in the back seat you can see him he was underneath the blanket and grabbed her and I want her to to get you are you okay it's okay the ambulance is on the way okay I you the guns right off the bat because if I could have got up there in the like front where the guns at in the console okay do you feel any pain here any no I whenever I squatted down like whenever it first happened everything you go over there and like it's not my first kid so you okay okay she's just more we're 1050 I'm checking on the female now tell what bad it's an older truck and we got to lock it from the thing yeah but when you lock it from the door like it's either the front side or the back like on the passenger side one of them doesn't lock and I wasn't thinking anything of it so I mean that's how he got in the truck I see that here the fire truck right here okay so here the fire okay they're going to get some vitals from you real quick [Music] okay him we're not seeing any signs he's been shot she's pregnant and she thinks your water might have broke and she wants to get her kid checked out okay but he's over there at the truck as well he was tching all over her he forever course just want her sh cuz he's [ __ ] twak one of your a handcuff yeah hey honey she fine she's paying attention to her I'm going to hand her back to you real okay all right so you don't got any wounds all right no wounds um is it still hurting yes okay how bad last name be cand so she saying she came back came in he was hiding underneath the blanket inside the back of the truck uh she LS her kid in with the get in the guy grabbed the kid how she don't she didn't say how she got him hit out but they got out when I got here the truck was locked she's standing outside yanked him out of the truck and does she know him no they don't know each other no okay she's I have never seen him I don't know who he is she said she thinks her water may have broke okay but she's getting checked out and her daughter seems fine was a daughter like maybe three or four was gun located it's her gun but it's in the center console okay it's her gun so that's why she's like hey there's get there's Firearms inside the car okay one room I believe so I don't know that's the only place she said she had one so they saying so she went she went inside okay came back out I guess she did fig out to walk one of the truck doors CU they has to get the manual off uh and then she came in trapped her kid in got inside to leave he was underneath a blanket in the back came up and they grabbed the kid she got the kid away got out of the truck uh he locked himself inside the truck when I got here but she doesn't know him doesn't know anything like that he's claiming he's been shot but there's nothing nothing on him [Music] he has not been shot [Music] no let me go I'm going to go inside and see if I can I should have camera for your St yeah yeah yeah that's what I'm going to check [Music] on you see it up straight OU are you able to stand up straight Mr candle where supposed to be shot he said he said still H he said in his back then he set in his head supposed to be G I got the gun already and it was her it was the ladies it was the female's gun that was in the truck already he claimed there was a guy on a bicycle shoty drove off on a b no were you with this the entire time oh yeah okay matter of fact I was fixing to go the door and I had walked around to the other side to open it are you sure it are you sure it was locked cuz I was going over anyway and she jumps out I mean freaking out screaming and got out he he was in the back seat he was in the seat and he reached up but he was most of his body was up there in the front but it was laying the whole thing my phone so I give it to her come here baby you want to sit on the ground sit you down against this tire on the truck him in a car that' be okay we can just thr him in a car if he's done being checked out yeah I think they're done I think they're done with them yeah let's get you in a heated car how about that bud yeah um where's go ahead where just like that and then slide back and then slide back okay there you go just say just lay like that just for a minute just pull your feet in upon arrival Sherwood police officers arrested CLE who initially provided a false name and he faced multiple charges including breaking and entering first degree false imprisonment first degree endangering the welfare of a minor third degree assault public intoxication and obstructing governmental operations the incident left the entire community in shock reminding everyone of the importance of staying Vigilant in your surroundings even when you
