Walking through. She's taking off. Just crashed into multiple vehicles. >> You hit so many goddamn cars. Do not move. DO NOT MOVE. YOULY WATCH. >> Do not move. >> Some moms don't rock their babies to sleep. They strap them into the backseat of a police chase. Of scams, of pure chaos. >> What the [ __ ] Get it. Get it. Get it. Get it. Godamn. Got it. >> From swiping stolen cards to buy booze to leaving a three-year-old alone to stealing a hogy out of sheer desperation, every choice carves another scar into that child. On June 3rd, 2021 down in Florida, a liquor store owner dialed 911 after two women tried to buy five bottles of Dom Perinon, over 1,500 bucks worth of champagne. The fraud flags were waving everywhere. And the kicker, they were mother and daughter. I got the [ __ ] GET on the ground. GET ON THE GROUND. >> GET ON THE GROUND. GIVE ME YOUR HAND. GIVE ME YOUR HANDS. >> OH MY GOD. >> GIVE ME YOUR OTHER HAND. YOU GOOD? YOU GOOD? YOU GOOD? YOU GOOD? >> I'M NOT TRYING to [ __ ] Get on the ground. You're going to get YOU'RE GOING TO GET TAG. Why am I being arrested? >> Can I get my phone? >> You're being detained right now. >> My wallet is there. CAN YOU GRAB MY phone right now? It's right there. >> We're working our way out. >> Why are you trying to >> detain? >> We're working our way out. >> What? I'm not Why >> you trying to Why you trying to run? >> I'm not. >> Okay. >> I'm not trying to run. >> They both tried to run as soon as we uh walked in. >> I'm not my Ow. >> Don't try to run from the stop room. Stop. Tighten up. >> I'm not. But >> yeah, you are. You tried running. >> I'm not. >> I'm not a [ __ ] idiot. >> You um They're running it now. They're running them now. >> You have anything on you that's going to poke your stick? >> I I just got you both. currently on talent beach. >> So uncle and I walk in, he goes right, I go left. Soon as they get eyes with me, she tries tapping her. She tries taking off. I grab her real quick and take her down. She tries to run and gets her. It's Hey, shut your [ __ ] mouth. >> Right from the jump, the mom, the obvious ring leader, didn't freeze, didn't cooperate. She immediately started looking for an exit plan. It all felt like a well-rehearsed script, like she'd learned over and over that the smartest move is to dodge the consequences. That wasn't some spur-of-the- moment instinct. It was an old belief. Trouble only hits the ones who stop running. >> Wait for a search. >> All right. So, she tried to resist the rest. She tried to resist the rest. I'm pretty sure that's And she lied saying that she isn't at anybody. >> Yeah. >> Man, she knew you were there for her. >> Yeah, I know. You're not going to get far from me. >> I ran around the corner cuz I thought she was going to get away from you. No, >> I had that had a good grip. Well, he can he can have that one at least. Hey, wait. >> No, you whenever you want to start being honest, I'll talk to you. But if you're not going to be honest, I'm not >> If I was trying to run, I would have tried to run. >> You both You when I grabbed your turn, ran and you saw him. >> If he wasn't there, you would have ran out the door. I'm not an idiot. >> I got a little freaked out because like I saw you guys. >> Okay. So, let me know when you want to give me your name. >> I'm talking to you. Okay. >> What's your name? What's your name? >> Grab your fingerprint. >> All right. So, hey, just throw Hey, throw in the back of the car. Just throw in the back of the car. Throw in the back of the car. We're going to >> Hold on. >> She's got to wear a lot of chains and stuff. >> I'm listen. >> You have a property bag. >> Just throw it all in my purse for now. >> If you >> I'm not going to work with you. >> I'm just telling you if you can. They go right over my head if you just do it. >> Wait. Hold on. >> They tried hiding their identities, throwing distraction after distraction. The way they moved together like a seasoned duo showed this was far from their first rodeo. It seems the daughter grew up in a world where escaping consequences is a survival skill. But that kid deserves to learn a safer, more honest way to live. >> My watch back on. >> Yeah, don't worry about that for now. >> No, that's not her. >> False name. False name. She has like five warrants. >> Punch. We got this one. Yeah. The clerk's watching the camera to see who had this. >> Do you remember who was holding this? >> No, I just >> It was just on the ground when I picked this up. >> I just I [ __ ] had her and it caused the whole >> I'm just making sure there's nothing crazy in here and then we'll >> Yeah. >> I think we got the easier one. Hey dog. >> Got a property bag. >> No. Can you go to ponch and just search her now? >> Y. >> Thank you. >> That was in her pocket. In her right pocket. >> This? >> I don't know where. >> Oh, just a Yeah, it looks like a dang flashlight. >> This may have residue in it. >> These definitely do. These fake teeth. Oh, sticky boobs. Look at all these lights, dude. Like, what are they doing? Look at all these phones. >> Either cook or pet. >> Is that a whole thing? Oh, look. You know what we use these for? >> Yeah. I got to cut. So this, you know why they put this in there? >> So it catches the big ones. >> That's why that happened. >> A search turned up tools for shoplifting and signs of a life spinning out for more than just a day when officers went back to the store to sort out who held the bags, who owned the cards, and who said what. The evidence had already stacked itself beyond denial. I mean like we could cuz like is it being used in the commission for crime? >> Yeah, kind of. >> You think so? >> Fugitive of the law. >> Transporting future. >> I don't know. No video. >> No, I'm looking to see who had the blue purse. >> Uh, what are >> uh um fraud >> credit card stuff? >> Yeah. >> Sweet. No, she uh she tried to run that way. Going to have everything under the sun over here. >> I'm sure you got all narcotics, >> multiple IDs, >> have um >> dope and [ __ ] >> Oh, fantastic. >> They're wanted for credit card [ __ ] right? >> Yeah. >> Everything. Credit card and thefts and fraud. And uh they're the ones that are going to deal with all the credit card fraud and everything else is spoken. >> Yeah. >> Names and clean records are supposed to be tickets to a better future. But here, what got passed down was the crack in the system. Hundreds of tiny doesn't matter choices piled up. And suddenly they're staring at iron bars. The only question left is will they stop before the child grows up stepping into the exact same tracks. >> Two. So, we're loading all sorts of charges here. The [ __ ] is this? >> What in the hell is this? >> Search for incident to arrest cuz she was not >> searching her again. >> Yes, we'll do it one more time. I think just >> What are we doing? Just taking our rings off. >> I can't get the ring so you just move that tight on that wrist. >> They're new. They'll stretch. >> Hold on. Give me a second. Move your sweatshirt. >> Thank you. >> Oh, rings are kind of tight. >> Yeah, she can get those out when you get to the station. >> All right. >> Nothing on her. >> All right, good. >> You uh when you're done right, >> huh? >> What do you want me to do with this? >> Call the I haven't searched her. She's fine. She usually keeps you guys. >> I haven't been resisting or anything like I've been very >> nice blue hair. Last time I saw you. >> Hey, who can I call to pick up your dog so that I don't have to call animal control? >> That's why I was worried about >> Well, I know that. That's fine. But we needed to do one thing at a time. That is not my decision. >> No, it's my >> In the end, the two were booked into jail and hit with a laundry list of charges: credit card fraud, theft, possession of narcotics, providing false information, plus resisting and running from police. With prior convictions and outstanding warrants, the outcome could mean jail time, revoked probation, heavy fines, and even federal charges if the fraud amount crosses the threshold. On July 18th, 2025, officers spotted a car with no license plate, busted brake lights, and way too many red flags. When they tried to pull it over, the driver hit the gas, slammed into civilian vehicles, and forced police into a full-on pursuit and area lockdown. From that moment on, everything started to spin out of control. >> Pulling into Pia area. >> Is she taking off? >> Where she at? >> Heading out towards Springtown. I'm going to have to shut it down. Guys, are you okay? >> We're okay. >> You okay? >> How do we report this? >> Yeah, don't worry. We're going to take care of it. Okay. >> Hey, hang tight, guys. >> You guys okay? >> Did she hit you at all? >> No, I don't think so. >> Okay. >> All right. Go ahead and pull pull straight across. Okay. Are you okay? >> Are you injured at all? Can I switch over and drive? Look at that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. If you want to put it in park and just meet meet us right across. Okay. >> Thank you, sir. >> I didn't even see it. >> It's okay. We're going to take care of it. All right. >> It was just so scary. >> Oh, man. >> Like it right there where they got us. >> We were just saying her other car is a mini bumper. I'm like, that would have been a whole different thing if they managed to hit the big bumpers and it's just crushed. But >> at least you're all okay though. >> Yeah. >> Is there? >> No. No. Me, my mom, and my grandma. >> 166. It's a good hit. >> He said he hit it. Oh, >> yep. Z. >> It's continuing westbound. You >> getting confirmed. I'm about to pass the intersection. Don't come out. You're good. You're good. Go. >> The driver was a 17-year-old mom with her own baby in the car, driving like no one else on the road even existed. What should have been a tiny ticket turned into a runaway mess, dragging strangers and her own child straight into danger. When the vehicle finally got taken out by a spike strip and couldn't go any farther, she jumped out and bolted straight into the woods. >> 2 23665. >> I got the vehicle on the tree line. Stop. WHERE ARE YOU GUYS AT? >> Vehicle's clear. WHERE >> NAKED? The vehicle stopped. It crashed into the tree line. No passengers in the vehicle. >> Better get rid of. >> Okay. You not hurt at all? >> No, I'm fine. >> All right. This this individual just decided that she was going to um flee the police and then ram all of your guys' vehicles. Okay. So, we're going to do everything we can to figure out who they are. >> Come on, buddy. Stop. Right here. Yeah. Baka. Baka. >> 166. We got a long creek bed wood line that goes east and west. Me and 146. We're looking at an open field that's just north of that tree line. We're not seeing any kind of movement. It's possible they're still in the creek bed somewhere. Come on, buddy. Come on. Right there. Stay there. Road City, please. You're in this creek bed. Sound up now. I'M GOING TO SEND MY DOG. YOU will get making me get all wet. You're definitely going to get it. >> It's missing dog. Nobody was in the car when I walked up to it. Stop. >> It's coming down. Just work on getting a better perimeter to the north and east of us. >> If you don't want to GET BIT BY THE DOG, MAKE YOURSELF KNOWN >> HERE BY THE CREEK BEHIND the poison. a helicopter, K9 units, and multiple officers were called in. And every second she refused to give up cranked the severity up another notch. People like her often grow up in a world where consequences are always delayed. The adults around them bend the rules. The system has looked the other way before, so they start to believe they'll slip out of it, too. Just like in the movies. >> Not trying to not trying to blame you, Shelley. >> No, it's not. It's none of your guys' fault. None of your guys' fault at all. >> Today's my birthday. as I go. >> Oh no. >> Have a seat. >> What are we getting arrested for? >> What are we getting arrested for? >> What the hell do you mean what are you getting arrested for? Cuz until until um Nelson gives us the answer. >> Well, one of his cracking techniques is crushed vegetation. We don't want to make new crushed vegetation and have him go off after us. I'm going to give you guys my business card with the report number on the back. If any of you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me. I'm going to take care of this report for your guys' insurance. Okay. Nobody's hurt, right? >> All right. Well, >> scared. >> Oh, of course. Yeah. I mean, I would be I would be scared, too. Okay, >> come here. I see you. Come here. >> I was trying to I called over. >> Yeah. She said, "I didn't do anything." I said, "Well, then you better just stay here." >> I'm sweaty and I'm all wet. >> You got wet? >> Yeah. I was traveling the creek, Brad. George, >> you're going hard, huh? >> I was the egoist, dude. I was trying to catch him. >> Be careful. >> I've already been over it five times, dude. I'm a I'm a mess right now. >> I got tired of staying in that field getting eaten alive by mosquitoes. See, they got a That's what's the homeowner saying. And there's a car seat in the back of the car. Did we ask the one person we got? Road City, police sound off now. We're going to get bit. >> I got him. She's hiding in the creek right here. COME HERE NOW. >> GOT HIM. SHE'S HIDING IN the creek right here. >> After a tense search, officers finally found the young mom clutching her baby in the middle of a dry creek bed. Even surrounded, she tried to hide under the shallow water, doing anything she could to avoid facing reality. That moment leaves a hard question hanging. Is this a protective instinct or just one more way to run from the fallout of her own choices? >> Why? >> Because you act like A DUCK. >> Let's get him. Let's get him. Let's get him. Let's get him. >> Hell yeah. Hell yeah. >> You hit so MANY GODDAMN CARS. DO NOT MOVE. DO NOT MOVE. YOU WEREN'T WATCH. >> DO NOT MOVE. Do you understand me? >> I wasn't even driving. >> You know what I mean? You're going to jail is what I mean. >> I wasn't driving. >> It doesn't matter. You're still going to jail. >> What? >> You know for what? >> I wasn't driving. >> Stop. Give me your child now. Yes. >> No. >> You were under arrest. >> I didn't do anything. >> I don't care. Give me your child. >> No, I didn't do anything. >> Stop. You need to stop. >> I did not do anything. >> It does not matter at this point. We're far before that. >> What do you mean? It is hot out, ain't it? >> Weak. >> This wasn't a one- minute lapse in judgment. It was a pattern of running that's been baked in for a long time. She didn't really show remorse. She just kept pushing forward. But being a mom at 17 tells its own story. A soul that never got the chance to grow all the way up. And that baby, that child deserves a world a whole lot safer than this one. >> Okay, >> I think so. They took her. >> Is she going to jail? >> I don't know if you are. She probably will, just from what I heard on the radio. I don't know about you. Um, they're taking the baby to the hospital just to do a checkup on it to make sure nothing's wrong since she was running around with it through. >> Hi. >> Hi. How are you? >> Good. What kind of sentence do you think might actually wake these girls up and give them a real shot at turning their lives around? Tell me in the comments below. On May 26th, 2025, officers were dispatched after reports of a woman running topless through an intersection, slapping the hoods of passing cars. He tried to. >> Fresh out of childbirth, drunk and shirtless in the middle of the street, anyone looking at her could tell something was deeply wrong. She kept insisting she was an adult, free to do whatever she wanted. But the way she acted around the officers was wild and restless, like someone still stuck in a teenage life that never grew up. We've been together for 4 years. >> How old are How old are y'all? >> He's 34. He's 33. He actually bought the car. >> Okay, that's good. >> Actually, yeah, >> that's good. >> I don't know. >> And you guys been together for 4 years? >> Yeah. Four and a half. >> So, he's been So, you've been together for four and a half years and he bought a he bought you a car or he bought himself a car and you guys kind of shared my car. All right. >> She tried hard to present herself as a grown woman fully in control of her choices. But reality painted a different picture. A brand new mom still chasing that hit of freedom. When the officer got closer, the handprint on her face exposed another layer. A life that clearly hasn't been safe for her either. >> So, what happened to your face? You look like you got a perfect handprint in the side of your face. >> Really? >> Perfect. Perfect finger handrint. >> I'm so pretty. Are you serious? >> I'm not saying that. But I'm saying you have a perfect handprint right here in the I I Okay, >> I'm black. What are you talking about? >> That doesn't have anything to do with anything. You could still have a handprint in your face. >> Can I see you? >> Yeah. I'm going to take a picture of it. >> All right. We turn this way and I'll show you what I'm talking about. >> No, no, no. Just like turn to the side so I can get There you go. >> Hang on. >> Yes, sir. >> And then the other side just so I can Yeah. There you go. >> Yes, sir. to show that there is or is not. This one doesn't look like it. >> Yes, sir. >> All right. >> Yeah, >> we're engaged. >> So, what happened to your face and what happened to him? Cuz he's covered in injuries, too. >> He's covered in injuries. >> Yes. He's got a scratch on his neck, on his chest. >> I don't know why he's covered injuries. We're engaged. >> Would it be Would it surprise you that if he said you attacked him? >> He said I attacked him. Well, he didn't say that, but it would surprise me if he did, actually. It would surprise you then. >> It actually would. You can actually put my hands behind my back if you say that. I'm not asking you. I know he didn't say that. I'm talking to you. >> Hey, listen. >> I got a word in Atlanta. You can say that he said that, but I know he didn't say that. So, >> I said, would it shock you if he said that? >> It would absolutely shock me cuz I know my man did say that. >> So, would it shock you that the Can I talk to you real quick? >> It would absolutely shock me cuz I know my man did say that. >> Would it shock you if the 911 caller said that he observed him hitting you in the car? >> He didn't say that. >> The 911 caller did. So, >> okay. Well, absolutely. It would shock me. >> Did he hit you? He did not shock. >> He did not hit you. >> I'm not saying he shocked you. >> He did not hit me at all. I did not hit him. We did not hit each other. We had been together for three and a half years. No one shocked anyone. It would observe me if anyone said anyone hit anyone because no one hit anyone. >> That's all. >> The longer it went on, the more she tried to steer the legal story her way. She kept insisting that if anyone should be in trouble, it ought to be her, not the man beside her. The officers ran into a familiar paradox. They wanted to protect her, but their hands were tied because the person who needs help refuses to admit she's in danger. >> And I'm actually not scared of you guys arresting me. So, you guys can let him go. You can arrest me in this car and we can take me wherever you're going. I don't give a [ __ ] Never care. He's looking back. He's smiling. I don't care. Go ahead. >> All right. One second. >> Byebye. warrant. Hey, >> I'm glad you're proud of that. >> All right, I'm going to photograph your injuries real quick. >> Say again. >> I don't have >> You have several injuries. You You have >> a boat right now. >> Regardless, I need to photograph them. >> No problem. >> All right. So, >> look straight ahead. >> Then she can take the ride. Her mouth will get her in trouble and she can go back to Atlanta and talk [ __ ] >> I got her a warrant for aggravated saw in Atlanta cuz I We don't we don't care about that. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But I'm just saying it's it's not extraditable. But I'm just letting them know before they go back and check that because they're looking and they're like, "Oh, this is that." Okay. You can arrest me, but don't arrest him because there's nothing wrong. And that's my car. And I'm saying he has warrants to drive my car. That's my GLC 300. He has automatically warrants to drive my car. >> Why are yall trying to make a case? >> We're married. Actually, they're engaged, man. Why you trying to make a case out? We're good. It's not. Like I said, I'm not the investigating deputy. I don't know. >> I know he is. >> Okay. Okay. He He is, but he's not trying to make a case. We're just trying to give a [ __ ] Look me. >> Okay. Were you Were you involved in this in any way? >> Yes, he was. He saw everything that happened. >> Okay. You're not involved. Please do me a favor. Please step back. I'm going to ask you I'm going to ask you please step back. Okay. You have nothing to do with this situation right now. Please step Okay. I I listen. I hear you. >> All I'm saying is you're overdramatic. >> How am I being overdramatic? >> Your friends are being overdramatic. >> I'm not doing anything. Am I? >> I I really go. >> I'm not doing anything over dramatic. Am I? I'm just standing here. >> You're telling your friends to do what they're doing. >> They're doing their job. That's so >> That's my car. And nothing's going on over my car. >> Okay. >> And he's fine. >> Okay. >> She's not just a young mom looking to feel free for a night. The marks of long-term violence show on her face and in the way she reacts. She's determined to prove that this new man is nothing like the last one. so determined that she brushes off every warning sign, staring her and the officers in the face. >> My [ __ ] ex was [ __ ] abusive. He was [ __ ] abusive. He was abusive ass [ __ ] ex. He [ __ ] used to beat me. He used to [ __ ] used to beat my ass every time we [ __ ] went out anywhere. He used to get drunk as [ __ ] He used to be like, "Hey, you're going home with me." Mind you, I used to want to go home with my friends. I'm 19 years old. I love my friends. I used to want to hang out with my friends. He used to beat me and tell me that I'm going home with him. That's what happened in Atlanta and I left Atlanta and I came to Florida. I came to St. Pete actually. >> Listen, it's a good Listen, >> I came to St. Pete actually. That's what happened. >> He's abusive and it's a good thing you left. >> Yeah, >> it's a good thing you left. >> I did. >> Yeah, that's >> I did. That's what happened. >> Listen, that's why >> that's what happened in Georgia. >> That's why all I did is I just want >> And I I [ __ ] fought a man. >> I fought this. Watch out. Put your hands back. >> Yes, sir. >> For disorderly. >> Yes, sir. >> You want to hook? >> Turn this way. Face me. >> That's real. That's investigation. >> Yes, sir. >> We'll come talk in a second. >> Okay. Yes, sir. >> Being arrested for disorient. >> I understand that. I understand that. >> You're running across. >> I understand what I'm saying. >> Hang on. Hang on. Listen. This is not Atlanta. Okay. You need to calm down. >> Calm down. >> Let us do our job. >> Away from >> Taylor. Taylor. You're not going to understand. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. >> I understand. I don't have to give a [ __ ] Where is he? >> Can you turn the air on >> a little bit more? >> All right. She's going for the sorely in talks. So, she wants to talk [ __ ] and I'll be petty, too. >> We think something physical happened between them two. Let me tell you what happened was he tried to get her to meet because she was doing that. >> So, I get the proceeding. I'm talking like in the car cuz he's got something right here. She's got a little something something. But each one of them says nothing happened. So, she's not getting arrested for domestic. I know real quick. She's not getting arrested for any of that. She's getting arrested because she's run across the street in public during that. So that's why she's got to get arrested. >> Yeah, I can understand that. And then >> he's Yeah, he's free to go. >> All right. She's got to get this. She literally just had a baby six weeks. >> I promise you, we tried to do this as amicle as possible. And >> on top of that, then she starts she starts talking [ __ ] to all of us. >> So it's like now we can't help you. Come on. >> It's like we tried. We tried. I promise you. get a rehost. >> In the end, the woman was arrested and charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct for running topless through a busy intersection, disrupting traffic, and creating a safety hazard. It's a misdemeanor, but still an arrestable offense. She could be looking at about a $450 fine and mandatory alcohol education or treatment. If she reaffends or someone gets hurt, the penalties will go up fast. On March 22nd, 2025, officers were called out to a neighbor dispute that was quickly heating up. The woman who'd recently moved in had called 911 over and over. This time claiming her neighbors were harassing her, breaking her windchime, and even saying a child had been bitten by a dog. Police had to check it out, and the story flipped almost immediately. >> Hi. >> Hi. >> Hi. Uh, did you you call and say there was a kid that got bit by a dog? >> I can you come in, please? >> Yeah. >> Sorry about the mess. >> That's okay. >> I don't want these people I don't I don't want to um I already don't like this lady over here at all whatsoever. At all. Not at all. >> Okay. >> Two and a half months of it. I'm new here. I come here to start a new life to be in peace and I can't can't do it because every time I close my door she'll come up and hit this window. She'll come up and hit my better window, hit the front, hit the back and it's like finally I had enough. So I gave a few choice words and then with few choice words today she went to everyone's door to try I guess to get be a witness on how I was sounding. Okay, >> I got four. >> What What started What started all the issues? Cuz I checked in our in our call system and it looks like you call pretty pretty regular. >> I don't want to. >> Okay. >> Cuz I was hearing her over by my bedroom for for a while back in the like the latter part of December and early part of January. And when I heard her, I said, "Get the away from my bedroom. I don't know who it was." When I would catch her, when she'd walk across here, I would jump up and go out to see who it was. And it looked like a guy to me or a a kid. >> I know a lot of the kids that live here, they walk over to other kids that live on that side. >> Yeah, they go that way. This one. >> Well, what made you think it was her if it looked like a man or if it looked like kids? >> Cuz I seen her come back around and go back up that way. And then I caught her the next night in the yard at the same time and she's coming up with her dog and I said, "Can you do your business? Can you have your dog do your business somewhere else?" And I've caught her again and this is this was her answer. My dogs walked me over there. You're the one who's in control. They're on a leash. >> She kept repeating, "I just want peace and quiet." Using it like a moral shield to excuse everything she did next. Instead of direct violence, she used the system as her pressure tool, dialing 911 to turn her personal emotions into a law enforcement problem. I >> know that we've had a few calls up here, too, on like where you've reported stuff stolen and it wasn't stolen. I mean, do you think that could be the reason why maybe the neighbors are >> like people don't like to really be accused of stealing things and then >> I can't I didn't know. I couldn't see the first time. >> Okay. >> I can't see. Well, I'm just trying to figure out what's, you know, why what the start of all this stuff. >> Me telling her I don't want her to do business. Don't cut Don't cut through. Don't go by my bedroom window. That was the start of it. >> I like the curtains. Very nice. >> Thank you. And then when Thank you. Um so, um she didn't like that. >> Okay. >> And that that's what fueled her more. >> Got you. And every time I have my doors closed, if she seen opportunity, she would stand up here at this uh fire hydrant. I would watch her >> do this because I want to go make sure that the everything's fine with the kiddo real quick. I'm not going to I'm not going to I'm not going to cause any any kind of ruckus. >> Tell them that I >> I just I just want to make sure they weren't bit or anything. I won't I won't make it to where you're having more issues with anybody else, but I'll come back in just a minute and talk to you. Okay. Did she say anything about me supposedly breaking a windchime? Because >> she thinks she stole it on there saying I broke her property and I had two witnesses here that said they seen her break it and they'd be on the phone. Yes. Saying I broke her windchime and she was on the phone and someone said she called 12 times saying I broke something. I got two different people said they saw her do it. >> Her actually break a wind break the windchime. >> Yeah. She had >> she called us she called us a bunch last night about it. We didn't even >> Right. That's what they said. She called last night and my neighbors said they watched her do it and then they watched her on the phone and she said, "Oh no." Now today, all they did is walk out my door and she's recording me. And I'm like, "Why?" And I guess because she said I destroyed her property. I didn't do anything. And every there's witnesses to that. They said, "No, she's not going to say you did that cuz they seen her do it and then seen her on the phone all night." Do you feel like she's like breaching your peace? Are you feeling harassed? >> Yes, definitely harassing me. It's It's nongoing. It's non-stop. From what the neighbors said, it looks like she took the windchime down herself, brought it inside, then called the cops to accuse someone else of breaking it. She constantly filmed her neighbors, yet claimed she was the one being stalked. As more witnesses stepped forward, that victim mask started to crack and the truth came into focus. She said that you might have witnessed some stuff last night. So, uh, your neighbor down here called us about 47 times about a windchime. Do do you have any idea what this where this infamous windchime was hanging before? It had >> like I don't go up there with kids cuz she was out there swinging a broom around yesterday and >> she seems to be unstable. I don't want kids around. >> But they live they just come home yesterday. They don't bother anybody. She is actually dangerous to the people in the housing. Yeah. >> So >> Oh, they just smell my peppers. I'm sure. >> Oh, she likes to bark. >> Um >> Molly, >> so did you guys see any of the craziness last night or >> Oh my god. Molly, >> do you know anything about this infamous windchime? >> Yes, I can tell you all about this. >> Okay, >> it was getting dark. >> Okay. >> Come out the door, yanked thating windchime off of there. >> Where was it hanging? >> On this side here. >> Oh, kind of like how you guys have your side. >> Okay. >> Took that damn windsh. She took it in the house. I don't know what she did with the gun now. >> Okay. >> She finally >> Molly, >> get her. I can't talk with her doing that. Molly McGee, get in the house. She called us saying that she stole it. >> No. Well, then she's hid it in that house. That's my doing what she was doing. And that Tiffy didn't have a damn thing to do with that. >> Okay. >> And that she's nuttier than homemade [ __ ] I'm sorry. But she is, honey. >> Well, Tiffy come up. Tiffy come up today and asked if I had a can of cream style corn. And she didn't want to come out the door. And she's come out that door. She's a camera. >> She has taped that girl all stinking day. She won't leave Tiffany alone. I bet she's got enough tape on her to make a movie. >> This is me. This has got to stop. Did Did you find her behavior to be alarming or or provoking? >> Yeah. >> Thank you guys for talking to me. >> You know, >> when a few matching written statements were laid out in front of her, she froze. Her eyes shifted, her voice pitched higher. Classic signs of a story coming apart at the seams. The officer didn't need to push much. The truth was already standing right there, forcing her to look at what she tried so hard to brush off. >> Okay. >> So, are you writing me a citation? >> Um, well, there's So, I want to ask you about the um about last night, >> what you take me to jail. >> No, no. I just I I'm going to be questioning you about it. So, I want to make sure that I that I read this to you. >> Um, okay. See, do you have the right to remain silent? I'll understand all that. Okay. So about this windshine >> right here. >> The neighbors said that they saw that you come out and grab it. >> They lie on me all the time. I don't even know these people. How are they down here? >> How are >> I mean it's it kind of seems like everybody on the block's actually kind of scared of you. >> Scared of me? >> Mhm. >> I've only been here 3 months. What is there to be scared? >> Well, they say they say they they say that you come out and you yell at them and you call them names. Are they saying that? >> No. That so it's I' I've talked to like half the people on the street in the past like 20 minutes I talked to wouldn't really have any reason to lie about your your windshine. >> They don't even know me. They don't even they're not down here. >> So So why why would they why would they lie about it? >> And why would they lie on me when they're not living here? So, I do want to make sure that you're aware that if you report a crime that didn't occur to law enforcement, that is a crime. Okay? That's false. False false reporting. >> It is not false reporting. >> If you damage if you damage your own property and call us and say that somebody else did. That is a crime. >> I didn't do that. >> It is also a crime to shout obscinities at your neighbors. Um, which I have video of you doing. >> Of course, I admit it to that. Yeah, >> because I've had enough of her. >> So, uh, have you got your driver's license on you or any kind of identification? >> You've taken me to jail? >> No. No, I'm not going to take you to jail. I am going to be I'm going to be issuing you a citation and giving you a court date, though. >> You could come back here. >> Okay. Uh, from the moment she said she'd moved here looking for peace, the red flag started fluttering. A long pattern of moving from place to place made the neighbors wonder how stable her life really was. When someone is always at war with every community they land in, the problem might run deeper than whatever story they're telling today. Is she actually willing to change? >> Definitely recommend um as little contact with anybody on the street as you can. >> This place is messed up. I regret this place. I hate it here. I don't want to be here no more. I hate it here. >> Um if anybody goes and gets an order of protection, those are those are for 1,000 ft and you'd have to move far no. So, so far nobody's done that. But when they do do that, >> you don't want things to escalate to the point where that is happening. So, my recommendation to you would just be to not say anything to anybody. >> I don't >> Well, I've got video of you >> that today only for today. That is it today because I had enough of it. She did the chimes. She knows she did. She comes over here and she hits this window. >> Okay. >> I I just don't want to be here. all this [ __ ] how they're taking enough for her. >> Have you got your ID on you? >> I had enough. When a person has enough and you just get a few choice words out of it, then you can't falsify cuz I am willing to take a lie detector test because I did not do this. >> I've got I've got five people saying one thing and then I've got one person saying something else. So, >> they're lying. Um, just hang tight for me for just a minute. >> If you had a >> and then I'll be right back. >> Way to take for me to take a lie detector test at this courthouse or wherever the courthouse is. >> We don't. >> I would do it in a minute. >> We can talk more, but do you want to We can talk in the car if you want. >> Can I take my dog with me? I never leave my dog. She's old. >> Can she ride in the car? All right. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Go ahead. How come no one wants to write her damn citation for stalking, harassing, intimidating, intimidation? >> Do you have any anything that that >> I don't have people that lie that? I mean, >> I don't do that. I don't have people, hey, lie for me and do this, do that. >> Well, on all of her on all the other videos I've gotten, you're always filming. So, do you have any video of hering her or or like threatening you or anything like that? >> No. >> The woman was >> In the end, the woman will likely face charges for abusing the 911 system and disturbing the peace. If convicted, she could be looking at fines up to $2,500, up to 6 months on probation, mandatory counseling, and a no contact order with her neighbors. The court could also issue a protective order. And if she keeps causing chaos, she may be forced to move. Do you think this will push her to make peace with the people next door or just pack up and start over somewhere else? On September 9th, 2023, while the family was supposed to be celebrating mom's 65th birthday, her daughter exploded, throwing punch after punch and leaving her with serious injuries. The panic in that house was so bad they had to call the cops. And what unfolded after that pulled the curtain back on something much darker. >> Walk me through what happened, brother. >> All of a sudden, we were just out. It's her we celebrating her birthday. >> Who's >> uh my her my mom's birthday. She was saying something about um you know, all you think about is your mama and you don't think about no. I'm like, what the hell you talking about? Where that come from? So, I just ignored her and start eating. And um she went around the side talking to my cousin. And then my mama said, "You need to quit talking about people." Sh come on back around front. So she was getting ready to leave and then my mama was at the car and she just went over about three times cuz I was in between like mom just let it go. Y'all let it go. She went over about three times and punched it like come look at hold on the other officer take care of I'm just trying to find out what what exactly happened. Okay so why where was she at? >> She was right there. >> Where was she parked? >> She was parked in the driveway. >> Parked in the driveway. >> What happened? >> My sister punched my mom in the face twice. >> What'd you do that for? >> I don't She just come out of nowhere. I don't know what >> only she come up here. She was talking to her and that thing know she just start. Yeah. >> Mom, what what reason? >> I'll let you. >> I got you. Yeah. Yeah. But you you saw it. >> Yeah, I saw it. >> Okay. What's your name for me, man? D >> 1977. >> And you love her, too. So that's why, you know, we don't want to see nothing necessarily happen, but she did some crazy stuff. >> What's going on, guys? You okay? You want an ambulance to check you out? Anything like that? What? What happened? He just came over here, you know, my birthday. We come to visit. >> Happy birthday. And so when mama was telling her to leave and she was getting in the car about ready to go, what was mama saying to her? >> Just don't she don't come back to my house no more. I'm done with you. Blah blah blah. Just like just like basically just saying you need to go on and leave. >> Okay. >> She everybody tell she this ain't the first hit. >> I got you. >> And then uh she got she got a problem with us with both my son. I think she really jealous of my my kids cuz they do so much for me and it just come out the blue and I told her I said just go. I told her just go because you know I don't even want no problem. So when I told this let's go she just hung off and just hit me two time in the face. >> This isn't a real disagreement. It's the same worn out script of someone carrying old wounds and using them as a pass to blow up. Years of bruised ego convinced her that mom always picked a side and she was the one left out. When words stopped working in her mind, violence became her way of clawing back a place in the family. >> I got you. So what what happened, man? >> She I think something wrong with I don't know. She I think her something going on with her mind. >> She just ran up got to >> No, she I told you my mama was trying to pick at him cuz whatever she was trying to do >> your car was right here. No, my car her car was right >> cuz you know what you were like and my brother to get in the car to get out of here. >> Yeah. To get out. She didn't even want to get in way. >> So what happened? Walk me through what happened. >> I told her to come on and have that pill my birthday. And he said I don't. She said I don't like my mama or my brother. I said don't do that. I said my oldest brother try to hug. She like I don't B nobody. I like Shante. And then she start telling him talking to him about I've been telling his business. You ain't nothing. the wife been messing up on you and I said don't do that don't I said go and I just came in the car said go and she said hit me about three times in the face for no reason >> I don't address you >> spot in your eye is that new >> hit me yeah it knew everything >> so you've never had a red spot in in your eye >> she just hit me three or four time >> okay what is her name >> Christina first name is Christina Shante >> you spell the middle name for me >> I All right. Well, as of right now, we're just trying to gather everything that's happening. Okay. >> Do you know where she lives? >> Oh, I can't tell you. I did call. >> Okay. >> That store, >> that Dollar General right there street right there. Yeah. >> Side road street. That's right. >> It got me in my statement. I was here when everything. >> Did you see it happen, too? >> Yes, I did. >> Okay. What? What happened? No, no, no, no. Of what year? >> Uh, I think it's I can't remember. I think >> Oh, she's 25 years old. >> No, she's 40. >> Oh, she's 40. Oh, I always give her data buzzes. >> She came here >> for years. Mom kept the peace by folding, slipping her extra money, babysitting the grandkids, letting every tantrum slide. No firm boundaries taught this woman one thing. You can cross every line and nothing really happens. Hit mom, curse her out, tear the house apart, and still get forgiven. Still get help. >> I try not to get into trouble. You know, she got three kids and I probably lock them. >> Come on, don't. I said, she said, "Shante, just leave because don't come over here. You can talk to your cousin, rob me anytime." My cous auntie. >> So they were asking her to leave. And when she was getting in the car, she scrked her mama. Her mom was like, "Just get in the car. Get in the car." And she sm in the car. So, >> okay. >> I always be on that boy side. Like she more jealous of her mom relationship with her brothers. >> And her mom said she just gave her $1,000 last week. Whatever. She helped Shante when she came with the kids and money or whatever. >> So Shante when she called me outside the house, she was like, "But she's struggling financially. >> I don't know what's going on in their life." >> Yeah. >> So her mom just came running and said, "Come on, Robin." She said, "Shante, leave because you can talk to your cousin Robbie anytime. Don't come over here spoiling my birthday party, you know." >> So we was just telling her, "Leave." And >> hit the fan. She swung on her mama. And >> where was she at when she did this? >> She was like getting in her car. M her mama was trying to like get her in the car, you know. Her mama just saying get in the car. Not handling her or nothing like that. You know what I'm saying? Just get in the car. Just leave. >> Went down to overthrew it. She got in trouble down there because she went down there doing the same thing. Was trying to fight his mama about the baby. So she on bun. I got I'm from Atlanta. I have my own business in Atlanta. So I put my I put one of my houses up. She's on my bun now over though. >> Oh wow. >> I've been helping take care of the kids cuz she's been not having much work. Her boyfriend don't really he don't do too much at all. I mean, they in a little one-bedroom apartment with three kids. So, my mama keep the kids because she can't afford child care. They finally got it school. And I mean, she just like I don't know. I mean, she just didn't lost her damn mind. I don't know. I mean, at the end of the day, I don't care what nothing possess you to put your hand on your mom. >> Yeah. There difference between arguing somebody and then actually physically attacking them. So, that's when it reaches a whole different level. >> Serious. The smallest bit of attention mom gave someone else was enough for her to think she likes them more than me. And once she crowned herself the forgotten one, she gave herself permission to strike back. In that twisted headsp space, swinging on her own mother feels like taking back what's mine instead of doing the hard work of changing her life. >> That's another damn challenge. They going to put that together. >> Look to the left. There you go. There you go. >> Look to the left. >> No, no, no. Just using your eyes just fine. >> She already on my house for overthrow. >> Bae, you're not going to let that girl in jail. >> Okay. Okay. >> Anywhere else you tell me. >> So boo there. >> Hey, are you sure you don't want to be seen by EMS? Okay. >> B. Happy birthday. >> Hello. >> How's it going? >> Is Christina here? Oh, is she in the shower? >> Nothing. Well, we need to talk with her. Okay. >> Okay. >> What's going on? >> Okay. >> Okay. Got contact in front. Apparently, she's in the shower. Man, I should have asked uh if that girl and whatever. All >> I don't think that she looked a little darker, didn't she? >> I don't know. >> Yeah, she's 5'6, like 125. >> Yeah, she's and she's lightkinned. >> Yeah. I mean, it's possible. >> Hey, how y'all doing? >> Hey, I'm all right. You, Christina? >> Yes. >> What's going on today? >> I just went to my mom house cuz it's her birthday, right? >> She don't like my fiance and my brother them over there and they had started some altercation and I said some stuff that she had told me about my brother >> with his wife. He been cheating on his wife and she got her feelings and she tried to come at me with a shovel and I was like, I'm just >> She should have realized that by the time officers came to talk to her, they'd already hurt everyone else's side, but she still tried to stage a whole new version, cast herself as the victim, and bend the story line with a flood of crocodile tears. It's a lastditch attempt to wipe out a reality that's now stacked against her. >> And then, so what happened with the shovel? Did she swing it at you? Did she hit you with it? >> Try to stop her, not yourself. >> Okay. And so at any point did you strike? >> No. >> Okay. So, can you for can you explain to me why there is a red mark in her eye? >> Oh, I don't know. I never put my hands on her period >> and I could put it on everything. I never touched her. >> Okay. All righty. Well, can you explain to me why there's multiple people saying that you did? >> I don't know why cuz they on her side. I guess they want me to go to jail. But no, I never touched her, sir. I promise. I put that on my shoes. I put it on everything. >> But she's got red marks >> on her face. >> I never touched her. I promise to God. I promise that. I put it on everything I love. >> Okay. >> I I never lie to y'all. >> Okay. >> Never ever. >> I got you. >> I would never text my mom. >> Okay. >> Never ever. >> Well, given the statements on scene, hun, I'm going to have to place you under arrest. Okay. And there's marks on her. You hold the phone. You have multiple witnesses saying anything though. They stop locking me. I never did nothing. >> They said I put my hands on her. They got witnesses. I never did anything. >> Hold on. I'll talk to you a second. >> I never did nothing. >> That's crazy. This is crazy. I know. I never did nothing. >> You want to bring your phone with you? >> Yes. I never did nothing. So, I promise to God I would not run from nothing. Okay. >> I promise you that. >> Okay. >> I never sir. Never ever in my life will put my hand on my mother ever. >> What's uh What charges back? >> Uh no. I'm walking alongside her. Who's that in there with them now? >> My my um my PS. >> Okay. All the way to the back. >> Okay. Well, have you ever been to jail before? >> Yeah, but I So, well, I got you. I got you. But essentially, y'all, I never put my hand on her. >> I know. Now, anything on you that is going to cut prick stick me. My fiance, they want me to go to jail. >> Okay. I'm just going to pass it now. >> Okay. We don't know just yet. Okay. All right. >> You never know. >> This is crazy. This is so crazy, man. He got mad cuz I told his wife that he was cheating on her and they tried to talk against me. I ain't did nothing to y'all. I promise I >> been around for me. >> Jesus Christ. >> Now, are you injured anywhere? >> No. >> Okay. >> No. >> Okay. >> In the end, she was arrested and now faces charges of simple assault and domestic violence for attacking her mother and causing visible injuries. with multiple witnesses and clear signs of harm. She can be taken into custody on the spot, hit with a no contact order, up to 12 months of probation, fines, and even jail time if she reaffends or violates any order meant to protect the victim. While one neighborhood is worn down by a single Karen, the real heartbreak is waiting for a three-year-old child in the next story. On January 20th, 2024 in Florida, a 911 operator picked up a call from a 3-year-old. Inside that home were two children, ages 3 and six, completely alone. No adults, no supervision. It was instantly treated as a high-risisk emergency. Neglect, abandonment, or worse. And then the police knocked on the door. >> Camera ain't nowhere to be found. >> Oh, kids tiny. Three and six just watching Mario and they're by themselves. It's wild. Hello. >> Are you Amber? >> Yes. >> Okay. What are we doing? >> Gone. I had to run to this mailbox, right? >> Where's the mailbox? >> Right there. But my key wasn't working. >> Cuz she usually >> definitely weren't there when we Let's stop for a minute. You weren't at the mailbox. Okay. We've been We've been in the neighborhood for like 15 minutes. >> What happened? Who called? >> Listen to me for a minute, okay? We've been in the neighborhood for 15 or 20 minutes. You ain't at the mailbox. >> I really did go. Okay. You might have literally And then where did we go? and she called me and I came right back. >> Okay. What store did you go to? >> Right there at the gas. >> I don't know what store you're talking about. Right there. >> I don't No, I'm not from here. We just moved here. So, >> okay. Where do you move here from? >> South Carolina. >> Okay. What are the laws in South Carolina? You allowed to leave a 3-year-old and a six-year-old home alone? >> No, >> you're not. >> I'm not. >> Okay. So, you know better, right? >> Yes. >> That's unbelievable. And then you hang up on my deputy. >> I didn't mean to. The thing lost and then it said no caller ID. So, I was like, who is this? >> Okay. But >> yeah, that's my license. their mom. >> I'm just I'm just curious of your thought process. We I've got a three-year-old and a six-year-old sitting inside and said somebody shot at their mom. >> Okay. Hence, you know, five deputies here and there ain't an adult to be found. >> I'm sorry, guys. I didn't know he was going to call and say that they shot. >> I don't care. I mean, I'm wrong. Give me Give me a minute. Okay. You You can hang tight. >> How old's your daughter, ma'am? >> She's 11. >> Huh? >> She's 11. >> Okay. Here's your ID. Give me Give us a couple minutes. Okay. You mind if I >> You can hang tie right there for a minute. >> You said I can. >> Yeah, that's fine. >> How far away is mom? I got you. >> How do you take your 11-year-old? >> I I think she needs to go to jail, bro. >> It's a felony. She was gone from the time to now it's been 30 minutes. I have no idea how >> Huh. >> her. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Five officers surrounded the home while she stood there like this was just some tiny misunderstanding. But in that uneasy calm, the officers had to make a brutal call. Do they handcuff her while the child is staring right at them? That silence showed the razor thin line between protecting and hurting. >> Yeah, >> I'll see if she wants to give me one statement. >> Okay. Yeah, we can go around. She's already done lied to us a couple times. >> Probably going to be my mom. I need the support. >> This is crazy. >> You're willing to get a sworn in audio? >> Do I have to? >> I'm just asking. Yes or no? >> That's fine. >> Okay. number. Today's date is January 20th, 2024. The time is 11:29 a.m. I'm Deputy Claus from St. John's County Sheriff's Office, law enforcement deputy conducting criminal investigation. This interview is being conducted at I'm interviewing Amber Scott, right? Persons present in this interview are myself, Amber, and Deputy Moro. Before we get started, like the firm that statement is a voluntary statement that no one is threatening, force you or you to give the statement. Is that correct? >> Yeah. If I don't like am I going to go to jail or something? >> Not saying. I'm just trying to get your side of what happened. >> Yeah. I went to check the mailbox and I was headed to the store and as soon as I left, I even had the thing. It was like alarm activity detected. Kinder caught me and said, "The police are at the house. Please turn around. >> Ask me some things. >> She never once mentioned what those kids must have felt. Dialing 911 terrified and alone. Her only focus was avoiding cuffs. That's the pattern in neglect cases. The children aren't seen as human beings with fear and needs. They're treated like a footnote in an adult's mistakes. >> Affirm the statement. You're about to give the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but truth. All right. Put your hand down. Can you please state your full name and date of birth? >> So, right now, we're doing a investigation. Okay. So right now it could be child neglect just because the six-year-old and three-year-old alone by themselves. Okay? So I got to ask you a series of questions. I got to read you something. Okay? You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in the court. You have the right to talk to the Lord for advice before we ask you any questions. You have them with you during question. Do not for me. >> I'm just kind of like crazy. >> Okay. But I need a yes or no. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. So, we're here because three-year-old uh did a and the prostitute did that. She said something about a gun and possibly shooting her mother or something like that. So, that's why we came here. That's why there's a lot of us here. When we got here, uh the six-year-old opened the door. Um we checked the house. It was just him and her in there. Um originally, what time did their mom leave today? >> Baseball her son. So she left at like >> by the pilot or past the TA where we >> on 210 the further down on the left hand side to that gas station and then she called and she said, "Hey Gammer, the police is at the door when you turn around." >> So when I called you, why'd you say you were at the mailbox? But she called you before I called you? >> Yeah, she did call me before. >> So why'd you tell me you were at the mailbox? >> Because I guess it sounded better. But I did go to the mailbox. But yeah, >> earlier. Yeah, I knew >> you what I mean. But when I called, you said you're at the mailbox and then the next thing I know, you hung up on me. >> Okay. So that's why we have concerns. So that makes me believe that my sergeant, my supervisor, other deputies weren't there. You weren't. >> She knew how bad this looked. Bad enough to carefully edit the truth as she spoke, sanding off the parts that make her look guilty. Every sentence was a side step. And that's what scares us. These kids are growing up in a world where the truth is always up for revision. But no, there is and >> it wasn't supposed to be like that long. It was supposed to be a >> still it doesn't take that long for heaven forbid something happens to them, someone breaks in or someone does something else. >> Um well, you said she was gone when you left today, but there was communication where just for you to watch it until she got back with her son practice. >> Yeah. And then I said, "I'm going out right quick." put and then she put I got a notification on my phone that said critical and that's when she called and said, "Hey, the police are going." >> Okay. >> So, that's that's where our issue is right here. Okay. So, that's that's my issue and everything like that. And we got a job to do and everything. Um, so what we're looking at right now is child neglect. >> Okay. And unfortunately, even though you're not their kids, you were in charge of them while letting mom stop to watch them or anything like that. Cuz heaven forbid, say it was the other way around, you had a 63y old, how would you feel if you left or if that person left and left them alone and all the cops were here and everything, >> but she knew that I left? But okay. >> But you're >> I get what you're saying. That's what I mean. She's away and everything. Yeah. >> All right. All right. Is there anything else you think you add right now? >> No, sir. That's it. >> All right. At this time, I'd like to conclude the interview. It's 11:35 a.m. >> All right. Okay. Just falls on you. Are you okay with her just watching your daughter? >> Yeah. Can I talk to her, please? >> Talk to your daughter? >> Um, Kendra. >> Yeah. Over here. What I don't want to do >> my daughter. What I don't want to do is >> I got to give her my debit card so I can get bell down and what I don't want to do is cuz you're doing handcuffs, but you're going to be complying with me. Yeah, >> you've been fine with me. I can put the handcuffs in the front. >> Um, do you want her to talk to you? >> Yeah, tell her work right now. >> Yeah. Come on, Kendra. >> Police weren't just tackling crime. They were suddenly responsible for real life. Who takes care of the children? Who gets called to pick them up? How do we keep them safe? tonight. They became a temporary anchor for kids who never had a stable one. Then the biological mother showed up and everything shifted emotionally in a heartbeat. >> No. >> Look, you got to find my >> Are you the boss? >> Yes, Kenzer. Just calm down. You got to find my TD bank card. You got to bail me out. >> You're really going to take her to jail. >> Yes, ma'am. >> They're my kids. >> Then it wasn't on. >> They're my kids. Are you >> Are you Are you >> You're taking her to jail over my kids. I need your ID, man. >> Do you want to talk to your daughter before or no? >> Yeah, I'll talk to her. >> Right here, ma'am. >> Tell her to come out. Where'd she go? >> She went in the house. You >> want to go tell her to come out real quick? >> So, are who's the boss? You are. >> I'm the one working this call. >> My boss is over there. >> Maybe just take me. They're my children. They're not her kids. They're mine. I choke my It was 30°. That's why I did not take them with me to my son's practice. >> Like, I told you. I just ran up to the mailbox into the store and I go on. >> It still falls on you because >> But they're my kids. Can you just take me instead? She's >> She has a lot. >> Sir, can you take me instead? Are you serious? >> Sir, Kendra, calm down. >> Okay. Calm down, Kendra. Calm down. You guys are serious. >> Why not take me instead? >> She was in charge. >> But they're my kids. I'm in charge of my kids. I should have put them in the car. It's my fault. Just take me. >> Well, when you left, she knew that she was responsible for them, man. >> But they're my children. >> No, but she was responsible for them at the time. >> I will be responsible for them. >> But she was at the time. I understand that they're your kids. I I get that. >> You got to call my job, too. >> Um money. >> You want her to have the money? >> Get the money, Kendra. >> Where's that in? >> She weren't home. She was She was in charge. >> I'm in charge of my kids. Why can't you just take me if you got to take somebody? >> She was in charge of >> I will go I will go to jail. No, >> that's not what we're going to do. The children's mother had willingly left her kids with someone who abandoned them. And now she too has to face the consequences. In the end, the caregiver was arrested and charged with child neglect, a felony that could bring up to 5 years in prison, 5 years probation, and fines up to $5,000. February 9th, 2022. An emergency call pulled police to the scene after allegations that a mother had injured her six-year-old son. Cries for help echoed through thin walls. Neighbors panicked. Officers came to protect the child. Yet, the truth that surfaced left everyone frozen. >> Don't do nothing to myself. You don't lie. You hit against the wall. DO NOT PUSH. YOU'RE NOT GOING TO GET IN TROUBLE. >> I push you, right? >> I push you, RIGHT? OKAY. MIND YOUR BUSINESS. IT'S NOT YOUR CHILD. DO YOU HAVE YOUR KIDS? >> DO YOU HAVE YOUR KIDS? >> DO YOU HAVE YOUR KIDS? DO YOU HAVE YOUR KIDS? MY SON got >> Okay. And we can call them to the school and everything. Baby, >> calm down. >> BABY, I I WAS JUST AT my school. My son's school all >> I'm just asking. >> My sonar. >> YOU CAN'T SCARED. Y UPSTAIRS playing the game. But she was just upstairs asking to play the game. Stop acting like that because she a lightkinned [ __ ] Bro, YOU JUST LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE, BRO. WHAT THE is so cute about this [ __ ] >> What is so CUTE ABOUT YOU GOING GET YOUR >> WHY ARE YOU WHY ARE YOU TALKING TO YOUR child like that? >> What you mean? WHAT YOU MEAN? I BUY HIS SHE DON'T DO for her kids. SO DON'T COME AT A MOTHER and do it for that child. Big facts. I don't have my baby daddy. I take care of my son. I'm going to give him a haircut tomorrow. I don't give a about this and I really want her MOTHER ARRESTED FOR PUTTING HER mother hands on me cuz I could go down I could really like I said heck every time I get my hair done every time I get my hair done you get mad >> that was the problem I had to go to court that same day >> edges >> yeah girl so I push this [ __ ] ugly My friend said that I punched him. Don't you think if I punched him it would HAVE BEEN A MARK? I PUSHED HIM AND HE ALWAYS GOING TO JUMP. THAT'S WHAT I DO. I EVEN DO THAT AT SCHOOL WHEN HE PUSHING on other kids. >> SHE NEED TO MIND HER BUSINESS. >> MIND YOUR BUSINESS. >> MIND YOUR BUSINESS. LEAVE ME ALONE. THAT'S WHY I WANT THIS BUILDING, BRO. PLEASE. I AM. I AM. I am. I am. Leave me alone. You mad. You jealous of me. Hello. You jealous, >> girl. GIRL, YES. >> She didn't talk to her son like he was six. She was arguing with him like he was some grown man who'd betrayed her. Her mom ego swelled up, hiding behind the label of single mother to excuse violence. At that moment, the line between discipline and damage got dangerously thin. >> I could, but I'm on Can I talk to you in jail? She baldheaded. She gohead. She don't even worry about saying. >> Hello, >> G. She muffed me. She ain't beat me up. >> BUT YOU KNOW I DON'T LET NOBODY MUFF ME, BRO. STOP TALKING TO ME. What was you talking about? >> So loud. >> Stop. Cuz she muffed me. That's why. CUZ IF I DO THAT TO IF I DID THAT TO HER, HOW MUCH YOU WANT TO BET Y'ALL WOULD HAVE BEEN QUICK AS HELL TO ARREST ME? How much you want to bet y'all would have been quick as hell to arrest me. >> I'm this close to arrest you now for putting YOUR HANDS ON >> I DIDN'T PUT MY HANDS ON MY BABY. >> IT'S OBVIOUS that you're not treating him right. >> What you mean? It's obvious. >> Yeah, it's obvious. Look at how you're talking. That's not how PARENTS SHOULD TALK. >> BRO, I I TOLD SOMEBODY LIKE THIS ON ON THE DAY I PUSHED HIM. >> I PUSHED HIM >> AND YOU'RE admitting to me that you pushed him. That's not that's that's not discipline. That's abuse. >> NO, IT'S NOT. ABUSE WOULD BE BEATING THEM. >> I DIDN'T beat my son. >> Abuse would be WHAT YOU'RE DOING. >> SO ABUSE IS PUSHING MY SON, shoving him, telling him not to go that way. I basically push >> Can you tell me what happened? >> The opposite way. >> What happened here, >> bro? >> This kid is obviously very scared of of her. >> You can go. You can go. >> Don't stop. Please stop talking. >> I'm done with G. I'm done with this. >> Tell me. Tell me what happened. TELL ME. >> I'M DONE WITH THIS BOY. He really Let me >> step out of the office, please. >> Hi. What's your name? Can you tell me what happened? How old are you? >> Six. >> You're six? Okay. Can you tell me what happened today? >> You have a tissue or something? >> Tissue. Free tears. >> Watching the way the little boy flinched every time she so much as moved her arm, you could tell this kid has been living in fear for a long time. If he reacts like that right in front of cops, imagine what it's like at home. In her mind, pain only counts as real pain when there's a visible mark. Maybe she grew up in a place where shoving a kid into the wall was called teaching. My mom pushed me. >> She pushed you. How did she push you? You tell me. >> Here. I'm going to I'm going to fix your shirt. Okay. You were what? >> 96. >> How? What happened? And then there was >> maybe 108. >> Do you feel safe with your mommy? >> You do feel safe? >> Do you have any brothers or sisters? You just got drill instead of something. >> Are you hurt? >> Where does it hurt? >> Your head. Your mommy hit you in the head. >> I think his head hit the wall >> when she pushed me. I didn't see it. I was >> So you saw her push him? >> No. >> Oh, you didn't see it. Just everybody that was out there was like, "You just punched our son in the face." >> Punched. Okay. >> And then they said his head. >> Which part of your head hit the wall? >> Can you point to it on Point to it on your head? Where did it hit? >> Where does it hurt? Point to Where does it hurt? Right there. Then there's great scratch. >> I was tired. >> Kids don't remember every word you yell, but they never forget how hurt and humiliated they felt, being doubted, being made to feel like they're always wrong. They grow up and either fight the world or they chase the same controlling kind of love because it's all they know. And that's just heartbreaking. police and she she shoved me in MY FACE. NOW I WOULD DO THAT TO MY BABY. >> MULTIPLE people saying that they saw you push your child and your child hit his head on the wall. >> No, he didn't. He didn't say he did that himself. >> He's telling me and he's pointing to where it hurt. >> He don't lying. >> I'm sorry, but I'm going to believe a child over you. >> Especially the way you're acting. >> You arrest me. >> I'm this close. If I don't get you to calm down, >> I'm calm. >> I'm calm. I'm not even going to push you. Do my do whatever you want to do. >> He don't even get whooping. The school called me every day about whoop him no more. I don't. >> When your son flinches the second you move a little bit, THAT TELLS ME SOMETHING. >> BUT I'M ANGRY. I'M A I'M YELL. I DON'T I don't And he hit on kids. Kids hit him all the time. When your child flinches like THAT FOR HIM, HE ALWAYS FLINCHES AT EVERYBODY. EVEN MY brother said, "Listen, you she called the police. You called >> I called >> and now we're here." So, guess what? It's a little more complicated than that. All right. So, you're going to work with us. We're going to figure out what the hell's going on. And then >> I got I got a DCF case. They can come over my house any day. >> You understand where I'm coming from? >> Okay. So, be an adult now >> and let's work this out. You hear me? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Hey, you're going to wait right here. I'm going to go talk to my partner over here. I don't want you saying anything. You understand? >> You understand? >> Yeah. >> Did that other girl leave already? >> But he shouldn't go against black people. Like he was just my neighbor, too. She cool as hell. She see me raise my She see me. Everybody on the floor know I don't go. >> I'm just saying what kind of >> What kind of expectations they >> What kind of expectations do you have of your six-year-old son? He's six. He's a baby. >> He got a whole egg cost 360. >> She lost her man and without even noticing it dumped that rage onto the child like the boy was supposed to carry her pain. She honestly believes buying nice things and controlling his every breath equals good parenting. But that kind of total control strips a child of emotional growth and plants the seeds for generational violence. >> Listen to the girl was like your mom hit you. He I didn't hit you in your head. You did that. You you went you you got um dramatic when I pushed you over because I was stopped. Basically, he liked me. So, I stopped her from talking to her. So, he did the most because I stopped her from talking to her. >> I don't like her. She makes me. Why would you want to talk to somebody that makes your mama? >> But he's he's six. He's six. He's not trying to get with nobody. >> My son is is a is a really He like girls. My son ain't one thing I could say. My son is not gay. He I guess he likes her, >> but he ain't he don't understand about >> Yeah. >> But he heard my feelings and then and then when I come to my room and then when we came up to the house, he got the crying like you know you bogus, bro. You going against me for what? For what? LIKE I REALLY I DON'T BEAT THAT BOY. HE DON'T GET NO WHOOPING. >> OKAY. So why did you push him over this time? >> I didn't. I just basically grabbed him. >> Okay. Why did Why did you do that? >> Cuz I don't want him talking to her. Did you see her? >> No. >> All right. So, who who is Jonisha and you? You guys are just neighbors or what? >> Huh? >> You guys are just neighbors. >> You know, I stay on the 13th floor. All on the third floor. It's all Spanish. I got two Spanish people that stay in the >> Hey, you're good. >> No, he going to say something. I push him cuz I I told him to go away from me and he going to say that I beat him. I don't touch him. He sit there attacking his armless. Whether that happened or not, I don't know cuz I didn't see it. Rather it did or it didn't happen. The bottom line is this is not a good environment for the child. The way you're acting, the way everyone was acting, it is not a good environment for and that's why DCFS is going to get contact because >> the way everything's going DCF. >> In the end, the mother was taken to jail and faced four domestic violence charges. Held on a $35,000 bond. She'd need to post $3,500 to get out. If convicted, she could be looking at jail time or probation, supervised release, a no contact order, and serious restrictions on custody. What do you think about this mother's way of raising her child? Would it work if her son were just a naturally rambunctious kid? Drop your perspective in the comments below. On March 2nd, 2025, Charlotte County police were called to an apartment complex after reports of a disturbance. A woman was trying to force her way in to grab belongings and pick up her son, arguing with residents and suspected of trespassing and causing a scene. What happened next went way beyond anything anyone expected. >> Hi. >> Did one of y'all call us? >> I to actually call because >> Okay, >> I'm trying to I'm getting my son right now and this man has a lot of our stuff upstairs and I want to go up there, but I need to be accompanied by somebody to make sure that all my belongings are out of his house. If I am not able to go up there, then that means I'm not able to get all my belongings, which means if he is able or wants anything of his, he will not receive it. >> Okay. I mean, you used to live here or >> I don't I've never lived with him. >> Okay. Why does he have your stuff? >> They had my daughter's carrots for a couple of nights, which they said it was okay. >> Okay. How long? So, you were staying here, but you don't live here? >> No, I wasn't ever staying here. >> But your son's staying here, and he's just all that stuff. That's your son's. Okay. So, this is obviously someone you know and trust if your son's here. >> I thought I trusted. >> Gotcha. I can't hang out. Um, what you're asking for is I understand why you're asking it. Um, but we consider it a standby and I'm not allowed to do standbys for situations like this, but what I can do is make sure he's not going to cause any issues. Um, so >> I want to make sure it's out of that. >> Yeah. So, >> you do understand? >> I I I promise you I do. >> So, what I understand what you're because I I must >> I'm not allowed to do standby. So, this would be considered a standby, which is civil, where you are trying to collect items, but you want law enforcement present to make sure everything goes smoothly. We're not allowed to do that. >> Oh, I want law enforcement present because they said if I was on this property, they were going to arrest me, which I know that >> like the management here. >> They told me that the management said that. >> Well, that's just probably >> and that's why because if I'm not banned from here, I can clearly just walk up there myself and get it. It's not that scary. >> Yeah, your son's here. You don't have to go anywhere. So, but I mean you obviously your intention is makes sense to me. You just want your son. You want your crap out of there. >> So, you're doing the right thing. But I I'm not allowed to stay here and wait for all this to go down. >> I just needed to make sure I was actually not banned so I could go get my >> Yeah. I don't really even care to look into it if management's not here. So, if you >> Right from the jump, she came in acting like the victim, saying her stuff was being held hostage while her little boy stood there trapped in the middle of all that tension. She wanted the cops to walk with her so her belongings would be protected. But really, that was her way of borrowing police muscle to force everyone else to cave. And once the building manager stepped in and the facts got checked, the picture got a whole lot clearer. >> You just trying to get her stuff so she can get out of here? >> Yeah. >> All right. Do you have your ID on you, bud? And then I'm not going to stay here either. >> Can I? >> I'll walk up with you. How much other stuff you got? >> Um, I think we got most of the stuff. Uh, we got um we got all the stuff right now. >> All right. Just Just be done with it, dude. get everything out of there so that way they don't have to come back here. You know what I mean? >> So, yeah, like then they can't um they can't Yeah, she she can't get in. She can't go in there. She's not allowed to go in there >> in your apartment. >> Yeah, she's not allowed to go up there. >> Hey, ma'am. >> She's actually not allowed to go in there. >> Does she have key to really do today? Obviously, she has the right to her property, you know. I mean, and I see you're obviously being cooperative trying to which is the only thing to do. That makes sense. And obviously, that's her son. >> Mhm. >> Um so, maybe just try and give it a couple days and talk to her or No. All done. I got you, dude. >> 4 years. >> Yeah, I hear you. Copy. I'm coming up getting in. >> No. No. >> It's not cuz your ass. You wouldn't be laughing. >> Listen, if he says that's not yours, you're going to have to give that back. >> He said something. I'm not going to have to give it back. >> And I said it. >> Why are you acting like that all? >> Cuz why are you acting like that all of a sudden? You was good until she pulled up. You scared. You scared of a Mr. Padden? You scared of Padd? >> What are we talking about? >> Exactly. You weren't just acting like this downstairs until she pulled up. Now it's something different. You scared of puss. >> I guess you are. Okay, >> I'm taking the stairs. >> If you said it's not mine, type of [ __ ] is not your sister. >> Yeah. Yeah. You can have >> Is that all hers or >> This is mine. >> She also has a starter for a car for me. >> That's We're not going to do the property thing. >> Hell yeah. That's why you don't want to stand there. The police all [ __ ] cuz they scared of vagina. >> Instead of accepting that she wasn't welcome there anymore, she chose to humiliate people so she could feel bigger and tougher. The child stood there hearing the insults, watching adults use trash talk as a weapon to win. And from that moment, the whole thing began to spiral. >> We'll be here for a minute. If you see something else you want to bring down, then bring it. But >> you're acting like I'm scared. And >> knock it off. What's wrong with you? >> Him. >> You're acting like a >> I'm acting like what? You acting like you're scared of now. You just told me I could go upstairs and now you telling me I can't cuz of him. >> Yeah, you're good. Go ahead, dude. I'll She won't go back. >> Beat you by I hate like you. >> Why he still got domination? He can't leave this area. Well, unfortunately with her behavior now, we're not doing this anymore. So, >> it's gone. >> No, she's not. They don't. Management's there. They said she's not welcomed back in. >> No, I ain't never been welcome back in. Shut the hell up. I can't wait to get off this damn brother. So, I never have to know the lead. Listen to me. >> It doesn't matter at this point. Okay. >> Yeah, it does. I need my stuff. He's scared of he's controlled by that there. >> Ain't no point in listening to him. He's controlling him. You arguing with him. I'm not arguing with him >> and you're just >> I'm on the leash though that I live with her. >> I know. But right now with the way she's acting, there's no way you guys are going back inside. That includes you, buddy. Listen to me. I don't It doesn't No, I'm telling you no. Stop telling him that, okay? Cuz I'm telling you I'm telling him >> that we're not doing that. You're taking custody of your son, correct? >> Yeah. >> Then he's done. He's not going back in. Okay. He's going to go upstairs and grab their other things and come back down. >> Get Dominic's stuff. All of it. All of Dominic's stuff because I need to bring it in. You need to GET IT OUT YOUR CAR CUZ WE GAVE YOU THAT STUFF and you trying to hold it. >> If there's anything missing, it's civil. Okay. You'll have to take him to take her to court. That's a there traitor. That's a traitor. >> He doesn't want to keep your all stuff. He doesn't He made it clear he doesn't want her here or have a reason to come here. So, >> well, I don't know why all of our stuff is not down. I just >> He's going to go double check. You heard him. He's going to go double check. He'll bring it down. >> He It doesn't matter. He's a liar. He lied. It doesn't matter. If he's lying, I don't know either way. But >> we can't go over there to get our like our stuff. >> You guys cannot. Nobody here could go back in there. >> What about if Dominic came here? So, she's not even here. >> If you guys make arrangements at some other date, some other time, that's fine. But right now, because of the way she's behaving, it's causing a disturbance >> with the way she acted. Nobody wanted to step back into that apartment. Honestly, not even the kid. When adults live on the move, treating a car like a home and anger like a native language, they end up teaching children that the world is split into us and enemies. The boy got dragged into the center like a lastditch bargaining chip. Pushed to pick a side instead of being allowed to stay safe and neutral. >> Custody of him, so he's out here. >> He didn't have custody. >> Oh, they trying to put somebody in underwear in here. That's not mine. You see what I'm saying? My damn mother ain't my son's underwear. My son ain't this. He can have this. I don't like to treat you for I'll give it back. I don't want her dirty. This then you put a dirty ass shirt. You can have that. Give me that back. Okay. I'm about to pick it up. >> If it's not yours, you can leave it there. >> Huh? >> Leave it there. If it's not yours. >> Okay. >> Real quick. >> That kid. Don't even bring him back here. Don't invite him. Tell them to take him off police or something. So that cuz if he comes here then >> Yeah. There's more trouble. >> That's all. All right. >> MOMMY. MOMMY. GET OFF MY MOM. GET OFF MY MAP. GET OFF MY GET OFF MY >> RELAX. GET OFF MY MOM. Get off my mom. Get off. >> Get off. >> If you do it, it's just going to get worse. >> Stop. Hey, >> if you inter, buddy. >> I don't want to hit you either. >> It's done. >> It's done. >> It's done. Hey, it's done. >> She's fine. >> I can't help her if you're over here. I can't help her if you're over here. >> To help her and you're not helping her. >> No. No, man. Help me. business. >> Negative. We got one. >> I'm good. I'm good. >> Go inside. Shut the [ __ ] up. >> Ma'am, go. Go inside. You're not helping us. >> Shut the [ __ ] UP. MONEY MY BUSINESS ain't your business. >> So yeah, it's not surprising the kids reacted the way they did. Children watch grown folks and learn. In a child's mind, there's no such thing as resisting arrest. All they see is mom being pinned down while they're helpless, crying. Nobody explains, so hurt turns into anger. Worst of all, mom couldn't or wouldn't hear that panic at all. >> Hit that. >> I ain't worried about her. She's being stupid. Let her be stupid. >> Be that come across. I have no idea. >> Stop talking so I can talk to her for a second. >> Check the office. >> Go inside. You're not You're making things worse. >> Please, if you keep doing this, being verbal with people, I'm going to put you back in a car. Okay. >> Why Why is she not Why is she not getting >> I ain't worried about it. She's got nothing to do with this. You do though, so relax. >> Anybody else take care of them? Cuz you're going to jail. >> Not right now. >> So, we don't have anybody that we can call him? >> No. >> I'm going to let go of you. Okay. >> Yeah. Can I get a cigarette? Can I leave cigarette? It's right there. >> Absolutely not. I mean, it's up to her, but if I had to say on that, >> I'm not going to copy you. >> Well, she uh Do you have enough for resisting with violence or? >> Yeah. So, the reason I grabbed her is cuz when I she said she wasn't signing anything, then I was like, "Okay, so I'll just put it in your car. Don't put it." Then she came and she literally like shook me >> that I I init as soon as I turned I saw that. >> Yeah. When she checked me, that's when I grabbed her. >> Gotcha. So resisting battery on Leo, resisting with violence. Okay. >> She getting arrested. >> Oh yeah, bud. She can't She hit her. You can't hit a cop. And you're going to go to jail if you do that. Okay. We don't want to do that. I've been nothing but nice to her and you guys. And listen, you're >> Then where are we going, >> buddy? I don't I don't know what to tell you right now. Okay. We'll figure it out. No, we're not going to leave you guys. Where we going? Where's my mom going? >> She's going to jail. Battery on law enforcement. >> She struck the She struck the deputy. >> Where are we going? >> Not sure. We'll figure it out. We're not leaving you guys here. Obviously, someone will be here for you. >> Where? Where my Where my Where where are they going? >> Yeah. I don't We'll call DCF and it's going to be up to them where they place you. >> In the end, the woman was arrested and taken to jail on charges of violent resisting an officer and battery on a law enforcement officer. If convicted, she could be facing up to 5 years in prison, 5 years of probation, and roughly a $5,000 fine for each charge. The children were later placed in the grandmother's care. On October 28th, 2025, officers stopped to check on a car parked strangely on the side of the road. As they walked up, they suspected the driver was under the influence of alcohol or drugs with a small child still in the car. That meant they had to run a sobriety check and secure the scene immediately. From there, nothing stayed simple. >> Not drunk. I promise you I'm not. I literally No, >> I have not. I LITERALLY JUST PICKED MY DAUGHTER UP FROM SCHOOL. I THOUGHT I SHOULD HAVE JUST GOT GAS in my thought. It said 38 miles. >> Let me just check your eyes real fast. Is that okay? All right. Keep your head still. I want you to follow just the tip of this pen with just your eyes. Keep your head still. I'm not I promise you I'm not. >> No, this will show it. Okay. Just follow with just your eyes. Keep your head still. >> Okay. I'm sorry. >> You're lying. >> I'm not lying. >> Listen to me. This is your one chance to tell the truth. Your eyes are bouncing like crazy. >> No, I'm not lying. I promise YOU I'M NOT. >> I CAN I can see it when I hold it out here. >> No, I'm not. >> Okay. What kind of medication are you on? >> I'm not on any medic medication. >> I'm not in any medication. I literally just got to have >> Your eyes have what's called nestagmas. >> No, I'm not. I'M JUST GOING I'm just I've been I have to I had to call programs and everything today. I'm just I'm calm down. I'm not doing it's just anxiety. >> Relax. Okay. Just follow this. I'm sorry. I literally just follow it. Okay. >> I'm not doing anything. >> Are you taking any medication for anxiety? >> I I was fine, but I'm not doing anything like that. No. >> Okay. I just want to check these. Okay. Cuz they're bouncing around pretty good. They're >> not. I'm just really nervous. Sean, you want to look at this? I mean, this is pretty prominent. Just follow >> Crinky. Why not take a portable breath test? >> I'm not doing nothing. >> Because you have been in your lines. >> You know what? You're real close to just going to jail right now. >> I'm not lying. >> You're not lying. >> Well, listen. Your daughter's in the car. >> I'M NOT LYING. >> I AM not telling you the phone. >> I'm not lying. >> I'm listening. I'm telling you. >> I am listening. >> Your daughter's in the car. >> I know. Come on, I am listening. >> So, if you are and you know you know in your heart WHETHER OR NOT YOU HAVE BEEN drinking or DOING DRUGS >> AND I HAVEN'T BEEN DOING either of those things. I'm just really upset. So, CAN I JUST CALL HER? >> What scared her most wasn't the crime. It was being judged. She was desperate to prove she was a good mom. Even though she knew she'd been drinking and was in real trouble. So, she started sharing her hardships, hoping the officers would see a whole person in front of them, not just a walking violation. >> I've been calling for programs. I had to GO THROUGH THE GARDEN. >> I get it. I get it. But let me explain to you what HGN means. It means horizontal gaze and I stagmus. That means it's cause caused by alcohol consumption. >> But I'm not doing that. >> So you're going to tell me that you didn't have one drop of alcohol today? >> What are you chewing on? Right. To just to to cover the odor of alcohol coming off your breath. >> No, it's not that. >> You are? >> No, I'm not. I don't have a toothbrush. >> Okay, then how about toothbrush or nothing? I don't have anything right now. COME AT ME LIKE THAT. I'M NOT. >> OKAY. I offered you a portable breath test, right? You said you're not doing that cuz cuz you've been drinking. >> No, I have not. >> I No, I have not >> close by. >> I'm not I'm not I'M JUST UPSET. I'M not doing anything. >> Listen, >> I'm not doing anything. >> I am. >> Call them and ask them to come to you. >> I will. I'm not. >> Call them right now while we're standing here. >> I just want to get gas. >> I get it. I get that. Why you have nestagmas in your eyes? >> I haven't done nothing though. And I took a drug test and everything. I >> When did Why did you take a drug test? >> Because of everything THAT'S BEEN GOING ON. >> I don't know what's going been going on. Here's the thing. I don't want to see you drive and have something happen. All right. >> No, no, no, no. AND I'M NOT DOING THAT. I JUST I >> I know, but your eyes are really showing my sag. >> No, IT'S NOT THAT. I'M REALLY UPSET because I'm just stressed out, but I really need that's what it is. And I just really need the money. >> I I get it. I totally get it. That's why. I know. I I understand. >> Money. I >> Were you involved in drug use at all? >> Oh, no. No. No. I never No. >> Okay. When you were just talking about whatever's going on, whatever situation you got going on, cuz you said you took a drug test. >> Cuz they had me who had the problems in there because they wanted me to take a drug test and everything. >> Who? What? Police Department. >> Pontiac. They wanted to make sure I did everything. >> Was that today? >> Yes. >> This wasn't a one-time slip. It was a loop. Substances, relationship drama, cops showing up over and over like a broken routine. She kept saying she just got dragged into it. But how often it repeats shows this chaos has been part of her life a lot longer than she's willing to admit. >> I have. And all I'm doing is trying to do everything right. And I keep taking the right steps, right steps, right steps. And it's just I'm just upset, >> right? I I get that. But going through what I'm going through. Okay. No, I don't. You're right. I don't. That's all it is. But let me just tell you, nestagmas is not caused from being upset. It's an involuntary jerkness of the eye caused by alcohol consumption. >> I'm not I haven't I haven't >> You said you were drinking over the weekend, right? >> But it's I I get it. So you haven't had anything today. When's your last drink? >> Huh? >> When's the last time you had a drink? >> Sunday night. Monday night. >> Okay. I I still don't understand why they gave you a drug test. >> Was there drugs involved over the weekend? >> No, I don't do that. >> Okay. But why would they ask you to do a drug test though? >> No, they just said that it's just procedure. So, they just wanted to make sure. And >> it was just done at the hockey. >> I didn't my I got told that I my friend I haven't seen forever. I got told that they were good and I guess they have been drinking way more and they were driving my car. >> I learned my lesson from that. Yes, I learned my lesson from that. I haven't I haven't >> No, it's just everything all at once. And I understand, you know, >> it's just kind of weird they give you a drug test. >> No, they just want to They said it's pro procedure. They just want to make sure. >> You submit to a breath test now then. >> I'm not I can now. I'm not doing nothing. >> Well, that's why I asked you if you would take one. >> Well, I don't know. >> Would you pass? >> Yes. >> Are you sure? I just like I don't know >> what you don't know what >> I just don't know what to do right now. I just like everything has me all freaking out. I just >> I just I just don't know. So, >> is there anything illegal in the car? >> Heck no. >> Can I look in there and make sure there isn't? >> There's nothing in there. >> Can I look to make sure? >> Okay, that's up to you. I'm just asking a question. So, she's in a car seat and everything all good. Can I look in the rest? >> That's it. >> Can I look in the rest? >> That's it. >> People with nothing to hide either cooperate clearly or calmly refuse because they know their rights. But the rambling answers, the dodging eye contact, the shaky voice that all screams fear that something is about to come to light. One side is trying to pin the facts down. The other is trying to keep everything in a gray fog. But the truth always walks closer. >> What is that? your purse. >> My cow purse. Yes. >> Okay. You're acting like real strange now. I'M NOT. >> YOU ARE THOUGH. >> I'm not though. >> I'm embarrassed BECAUSE THIS IS LITERALLY all the clothes I have. I don't have anything. I There's so much. >> What? You got a dog or a cat? >> I got a dog. >> Okay. Where's the dog at? >> My uncle's at home. Yes. I live with my uncle. >> What? What's in the front that you don't want me to find? >> There's nothing in there. >> Can I look? >> There's nothing in there. >> Is it okay if I look? There's nothing in there. >> As I'm standing here, I'm getting alcohol coming off you now. >> There's nothing in there. >> Look it. We can play a game or I can just arrest you right now. >> I'm not playing games. >> You are. >> I'm not. >> How much did you drink? It's hitting me in the face right now. >> I'm not. >> Okay. We're done playing games. >> I'm not playing games. Please don't. >> How much did you Then how much did you drink? >> I didn't. I'm not. You're lying. >> Where are you going? >> I'm not playing games. >> What are you after in here? >> Okay. Stand back. Get out of the car. Get out of the car. Get out of the car. >> THERE'S NOTHING IN HERE. >> STOP. I SEE IT. >> THERE'S NOTHING IN THERE. >> STOP. STOP. >> STOP RESISTING. THERE'S OPEN ALCOHOL RIGHT THERE. >> THERE IS. STOP FIGHTING ME. >> Please don't. >> Stop fighting. I'm not. >> Stop fighting. >> Please not. >> You're drunk. >> NO, I'M NOT. >> STOP RESISTING. >> I'M not drunk. >> I'm not drunk. I'm not drunk. PLEASE DON'T. I'M NOT DRUNK. I'M NOT DRUNK. I'M NOT DRUNK. >> You are. Stop. Get down. STOP RESISTING. STOP. STOP. STOP RESISTING. Now you're relax. >> I'm not drunk. >> Relax. Stop resisting. >> I'M NOT DRUNK. PLEASE. >> YEP. Stop resisting. Get in there. You got him. >> The biggest damage isn't just about drinking or not following orders. It's the picture burned into that child's mind watching their mother get put in handcuffs. And just like the officer suspected she had been using and wasn't honest from the start, the moment she panicked and fought back said more than any story she tried to spin. >> I'M NOT DRUNK. CAN I BLOW into the breathalyzer? I'M NOT DRUNK. THIS [ __ ] has been in my car since then. CAN I BLOW? >> CAN I BLOW? >> WELL, YOU'RE RESISTING. RELAX. >> BLOW. CAN I BLOW? CAN I BLOW? >> RELAX. >> CAN I BLOW? >> RELAX. >> CAN I BLOW? >> RELAX. >> PLEASE. PLEASE. I DON'T WANT TO LOSE. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE RELAX. >> I'M PEE IN MY PANTS. JUST PLEASE >> I'M NOT I'M I'M NOT I'M NOT IN MY CAR. >> RELAX. >> WE'RE DONE. >> WE'RE DONE. >> We're done. >> THIS IS THIS HAS ALL BEEN IN MY CAR SINCE >> LISTEN TO WHAT YOU'RE DOING to your child. >> I know, but this is >> Well, then relax. You're scaring the hell out of your kid. >> BUT I'M SCARING MYSELF. THIS HAS ALL BEEN IN MY CAR. >> WELL, THAT WHEN WE SAY RELAX, >> we'll settle it. Just relax. You got to look. Think about your child right now. When I tell you stop going in the car and you say no, that's a problem. >> And you go REACHING IN. >> BUT THAT'S ALL BEEN IN MY CAR SINCE THIS HAS HAPPENED. >> WELL, you're drinking today and it really smells coming off you now. >> Just relax. >> Listen, I correct. >> I understand. >> Okay, then. That's why I went south. >> I understand. I understand. I understand. >> So, we put her in a cage. >> Please don't. >> Well, she went. She peed her pants. She kept reaching the car, told her not to. You can see the open open alcohol in there. She's been drinking. Tried to give her a break. She lied the whole time that she hasn't been, but she has. She got her child in the car. And then she resisted arrest. 24. >> Look at this. >> I don't know. I talked to the DCFS. >> Yeah, that's right. >> Yeah, they just literally were we dealt with her yesterday. She was in Well, the other day she was in a car with a guy that was drunk. She was drunk and the child was in that car that was in Livingston County. In the end, the woman was arrested and now faces charges including DUI, possession of a controlled substance, and resisting law enforcement with extra weight because she had a child in the car and got herself in trouble again within just 2 days. DCFS stepped in to take temporary custody of the child. If convicted, she could be looking at fines up to $10,000, a 24-month license suspension, mandatory treatment or education programs with supervision, and limits on or even temporary loss of her parental rights. >> Can you come in, please? >> Yeah. >> Sorry about the mess. >> That's okay. I don't want these people. I don't I don't want to um I already don't like this lady over here at all whatsoever. At all. Not at all. >> Okay. >> 2 and 1/2 months of it. I'm new here. I come here to start a new life to be in peace. And I can't can't do it because every time I close my door, she'll come up and hit this window. ghost come up and hit my bedroom window, hit the front, hit the back, and it's like finally I had enough. So, I gave a few choice words and then with few choice words today, she went to everyone's door to try, I guess, to get be a witness on how I was sounding. Okay, >> I guess >> what what started what started all the issues? Cuz I checked in our in our call system and it looks like you call pretty pretty regular. >> I don't want to. >> Okay. cuz I was hearing her over by my bedroom for for a while back in the la like the latter part of December and early part of January. And when I heard her, I said, "Get the away from my bedroom. I don't know who it was." When I would catch her when she'd walk across here, I would jump up and go out to see who it was. And it looked like a guy to me or a a kid. >> I know a lot of the kids that live here, they walk over to other kids that live on that side. Yeah. Go use that way. This one. >> What made you think it was her? If it looked like a man or if it looked like kids >> cuz I seen her come back around and go back up that way. And then I caught her the next night in the yard at the same time. And she's coming up with her dog. And I said, "Can you do your business? Can you have your dog do your business somewhere else?" And I've caught her again and this this was her answer. My dogs walk me over there. You're the one in control of they're on a leash. >> She kept repeating, "I just want peace." and quiet, using it like a moral shield to excuse everything she did next. >> Got you. And every time I have my doors closed, if she's seen opportunity, she will stand up here at this uh fire hydrant. Okay. >> Yeah. Did she say anything about me supposedly breaking a windchime? Because >> she thinks she stole it on there saying I broke her property. And I have two witnesses here that said they seen her break it >> and then be on the phone. Yes. Saying I broke her windchime and she was on the phone and someone said she called 12 times saying I broke something. I got two different people said they saw her do it. >> Her actually break a wind break the windchime. >> Yeah. She had >> she called us. She called us a bunch last night about it. They said, "No, she's not going to say you did that cuz they seen her do it and then seen her on the phone all night." >> Do you feel like she's like breaching your peace? Are you feeling harassed? >> Yes, definitely harassing me. It's It's nongoing. It's non-stop. From what the neighbors said, it looks like she took the windchime down herself, brought it inside, then called the cops to accuse someone else of breaking it. She constantly filmed her neighbors, yet claimed she was the one being stalked. As more witnesses stepped forward, that victim mask started to crack, and the truth came into focus. She said that you might have witnessed some stuff last night. So, uh, your neighbor down here called us about 47 times about a windchime. Do Do you have any idea what this where this infamous windchime was hanging before? It had like I don't go up there cuz she was out there swinging a broom around yesterday and >> they seem to be unstable. I don't want kids around. >> They live they just come home yesterday. They don't bother anybody. She is actually dangerous to the people in the housing. Yeah. >> So get her. >> Oh, they just smell my puffers. I'm sure. >> Oh, she likes to bark. >> Um >> Molly, >> so did you guys see any of the craziness last night or >> Oh my god. Molly, >> do you know anything about this infamous windchime? >> Yes, I can tell you all about this. >> Okay, >> it was getting dark. >> Okay, >> come out the door. Yanked thating windchime off of there. >> Where was it hanging? >> On this side here. >> Kind of like how you guys have your side. >> Okay. >> Took that damn windchime. She took it in the house. I don't know what she did with the gun now. >> Okay, so she finally >> Molly, >> get her. I can't talk with her doing that. Molly McGee, get in the house. She called us saying that she stole it. >> No. Well, then she's hid it in that house. That might have been what she was doing. >> This is not This has got to stop. >> Um, well, there's So, I want to ask you about the um about last night. >> You take me to jail. Okay? That's false false reporting. >> It is not false reporting. >> If you damage your own property and call us and say that somebody else did that is a crime. >> I didn't do that. >> It is also a crime to shout obscinities at your neighbors. Um, which I have video of you doing. >> Of course, I admitted to that. Yeah, >> because I've had enough of her. >> So, uh, have you got your driver's license on you or any kind of identification? >> You've taken me to jail? >> No. No, I'm not going to take you to jail. I am going to be I am going to be issuing you a citation and giving you a court date, though. >> You could come back here. >> Okay. Uh, from the moment she said she'd moved here looking for peace. The red flag started fluttering. >> Um if anybody goes and gets an order of protection, those are those are for 1,000 ft and you'd have to move far. Nobody's lying. >> Okay. >> I I just don't want to be here. all this [ __ ] >> How they're taking enough for her. All right. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Go ahead. How come no one wants to write her damn citation for stalking, harassing, uh, intimidating, intimidation?
