had been shot by his friend's ex-boyfriend while they were smoking marijuana in his car bullet holes in the vehicle and the trail of gunfire confirmed the truth of this account but what was the reason behind it all no one shoots without a reason and the officers needed as much context as possible in order to arrest the person responsible and press charges but the deeper story was far more Sinister had been threatening him over text in fact just 3 minutes before the shooting Pella had called him curiously the shooter had somehow figured out where Dion was parked but how had it been possible could his friend have actually been involved he said he was he said he was parked by that hydrant and his car was facing this way he driving this and so he said that he got out of the car and fired at story and she claimed she'd been in the car with Dion when the shots were fired but she didn't see who the shooter was and deduced it had been her ex-boyfriend because he had been calling her all day her statement seemed to match up with Dion's but there was just something strange about her behavior she appeared extremely nervous avoided eye contact with officers and answered hesitantly and her body language screamed fear she seemed to be hiding something but would the police be able to figure out what it was at the end of the day we've got you know multiple people involved here so this imagined it would escalate this far with this information in hand they needed to find Brandon before things went any further the only option left was to arrest him or so the officers thought um so I had told her like oh like um this like I asked her like does he have your location mhm and she was like no that she don't thinks so so she showed me like find my iPhone that nobody else has her location so I like okay but by my to myself I had a good feeling so I had I was parked like somewhere like in the middle of the neighborhood and I just came around here like okay we just talking about the situation and like her mom knows me her sisters they all know me and then I just feel like here was a same St does he ever go over to her house um like does he like hang out over there or anything outside picking him up mhm so he has access to her iCloud okay you're saying that he has access to her iCloud so he can look up her phone so mes I got ramlan was now firmly convinced that his friend was involved in all of it the place where they parked wasn't somewhere you could just guess and the timing of pella's last messages indicated that he knew exactly where they were and had planned the attack but none of this would be easy to prove as they didn't have solid evidence to show Ariana's involvement the officers would have to dig deeper hey brother how you do good good I saw that you have cameras your ring camera and the one outside can you see if it captured anything for us should happen between like midnight to like 2: to 3: about 1:30 in the morning it happened 1:30 around that time because I was sleep me and my wife was sleeping and we heard what I thought was somebody knocking on my window so I got up I looked all my windows walked in the backyard I didn't see anything came back in so that's nobody there oh maybe my nephew was coming home from work and I locked him out ah so we went back to sleep got it maybe they just a few hour I'm surprised you didn't come out probably didn't hear it cuz no one it's I heard that no one called it anything yeah because like I said it didn't sound like gunshot yeah I thought somebody was knocking on my window I thought it was maybe my nephew coming home from work and we locked him out I didn't see anything so I said all right you know what yeah maybe it was just something it his thing only goes back to 4:00 a.m. okay that that's fine yeah upon further investigation police had managed to gather phone records emails and social media accounts along with messages that showed conversations proving that Pella and gaj RJ had been in contact to conspire plan and carry out a scheme to kill ramlan with all of the evidence in hand the guilt of both of them was undeniable Brandon Pella aged 24 would be sentenced to 25 5 years in prison with no chance of parole and Ariana gajj age 21 was sentenced to 15 years in prison with the possibility of parole after serving 2third of her sentence
