in the car. Get in the car. Come on. >> Get in the car. Can I call my mom? She wants >> You're going to lose your job. >> If you're going to get up, >> you understand? >> No, I don't understand what you just read to me. From a sloppy, drunk, mouthy Karen running into a nononsense cop to a Karen risking it all sprinting through an airport, every delusion leaves a trail. And when the truth finally lines up in a straight line, who's going to crack first? On February 2nd, 2025, what should have been a routine traffic stop blew up fast when a woman ignored the lights and sirens and decided she'd just drive all the way home. The attitude and straight up disrespect for the law sent the whole situation in a completely different direction. King Mary King 4917. Roll the window down. Roll the window down now. Roll the window down or I'll break your window. Do you understand? >> I know. You better calm down. Hang on. >> I am Officer Perk. The reason I stopped you is for m multiple marked lanes violations. Your speed and then you failed to comply. Roll your window down. Roll your window down or it will be broken. >> Break it. What? This is an 09 Accord. What? What are you breaking my window for? >> Because you're rolling your window up. You went into complete opposite lane and then you took off again. >> Okay. And >> do you have your license and proof of insurance? >> I do, sir. Hang on. Hang on. I don't even know where it is. >> Okay. Hang on. >> I need your driver's license and proof of insurance. >> I heard you the first time. >> Okay, let's start getting that. >> Yeah, I heard you the first time. >> Okay, we're just not going to do that. >> I heard you the first time. >> Okay. Are you going to get it for me or not? [ __ ] deaf. >> Well, that's what I'm trying to figure out if you are. Are you going to get those that information for me or not? >> You know what? I'm trying to open my [ __ ] door. >> What's going on tonight? I'm >> What do you mean what's going on tonight, [ __ ] Are you deaf? >> No. >> I'm trying to go in my house. >> Okay. Are you [ __ ] >> No. >> Apparently you are. You're [ __ ] >> Okay. >> I'm trying to get my >> Okay. Do you know where it is? >> I'm trying. Damn. So, >> what did you pull me over for? >> Okay. Again. >> Are you bored? >> Marked lanes. Okay. Which is going left of center. >> Marked. No. >> Okay. Your speed >> or apparently you're [ __ ] blind. >> Okay. When you turned back your office in Dusky. Okay. You went off the road on the right side. >> No, I didn't. >> And then when you were coming around through here, you almost went over the uh off the road on the left side. Okay. >> Damn. I made it home. And then you failed to yield after I turned my lights and my siren on. >> Right from the jump, she carried that classic super entitled energy. Like the second her curb in front of her house, every violation behind her magically got erased. But real life doesn't stop at your front gate and the law doesn't run on someone's personal this is annoying meter. >> No, >> apparently you are. >> Okay. >> Hang on. >> So, do you have your license and proof of insurance? Yeah, hang on one sec. >> Stop. Stop. >> You're under arrest. >> When you have finished recording, you may hang up. >> I was trying to call my boyfriend. >> You don't push on an officer. >> Don, [screaming] >> wait. Yo. I didn't do anything. >> I can't stop. >> Walk. >> Walk. >> Walk. >> Don't pull the other side up. [ __ ] [ __ ] some [ __ ] hair. >> Yeah. >> For loco. >> Once that stubborn road attitude stopped working, everything shifted straight into the station. These [ __ ] are in here, too. >> All right. Do you want a chair or are you good? >> I'm good. >> Okay. There's a copy of the form here if you want to read along with me or you can just listen. Okay. >> You're now under arrest for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a drug or combination of them. >> Operating a vehicle while under the influence of a list of controlled substance or listing metabolic controlled substance, operating vehicle after underage alcohol consumption, or having physical control of a vehicle while under the influence. Standing in front of the breath test, she still insisted she was totally fine. But you could see the nerves kick in because deep down she knew failing that test was a very real possibility. >> So if I do this and I don't pass it, right? Cuz I probably won't. This is real real scenario. And um off. Sorry. Go ahead. I I'd tell him to turn his radio off because it'll mess with the machine. >> Yeah, turn your radio off. It'll mess with the machine. >> Okay. So, if I if I don't pass it, then what? >> I You'll still go to court, you know, either way. >> Mhm. >> Intoxilizer. >> Intoxilizer 8000. >> God damn, that's a name. It's a good one, is it? Got a nice ring to it. >> If you're going to get [ __ ] up, Intoxilizer is the name to use for it, for sure. >> You have your phone on turn it off, >> you guys. I'm sorry. My mom and dad are going to be so upset with me. And my boyfriend, he [clears throat] was like, "Go out and have a fun night with your friends." And here we are. >> That was me. >> Oh, yeah. >> She think I was doing something wrong. I I was just driving. >> Okay. >> Okay. And what? >> What? What do you mean? And what? >> And what? What was I doing? >> When half-hearted honesty didn't get her anywhere, she pivoted to the more dramatic exit, blowing up her personal crisis. In a lastditch attempt to take back control, she started making dark self-pittitying comments, hoping to spark sympathy and slow the whole process down. >> All right, let's go and grab this end here. >> Oh god, you're not ignoring me. >> I'm not ignoring you. >> No, you are. >> I'm not. Take a deep breath in. >> You are. >> Take a deep breath in. Hold on. Hold on. Listen to me. Stop. Stop for a second, Ashley. Okay. Remember, you got to take a deep breath in. You got to create that tight seal. literally like just suck the soul out of this [ __ ] What do you want me to do? >> You You're not inhaling. You have to exhale. >> Oh, exhale. >> Yes. All right. So, take a deep breath in and then create that tight seal. There you go. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Hold on. Take a breath. Stop for a second. Okay. Take it out. Take it out of your mouth. All right. Remember, you have to go as long as you can, okay? With that tight seal. All right. So, go take a deep breath in. >> You trying to do me dirty? >> I'm not. >> No, you are. >> I'm not. I promise you. Okay. Not taking your test because you keep stopping. Have to blow as hard as you can for as long as you can. Keep going. Keep going. Keep You have to keep going. Remember, you got to >> I am. >> Okay. Just listen to me. Okay. >> I am. >> Take a deep breath in. All right. Create that tight seal. There you go. As far as you can [music] create that tight seal. Keep that tight seal. There you go. Okay. >> All right. I'll go and take that. >> I don't even know if I should do that. >> You know what I mean? >> I don't. >> Okay. But hear me out. >> I'm listening. >> Hear me out. What would you do if your wife, fiance, whatever, got pulled over, right? >> Mhm. >> Would you want her to listen to it or or be like, "Nah, I ain't going to do that." >> Would I want my >> Tell me, tell me. Would you want her to do it or would you want to be like, "Nah, babe. Skip it." >> Skip what? Skip whatever the [ __ ] I just did. >> I can't give you any legal advice. >> You can't give me any just [ __ ] normal advice? >> No, I'm not allowed. >> It was an attempt to build an emotional alliance, basically forcing the officers into the role of family, like they were supposed to soften up and cut her a break. But once the paperwork and procedures started rolling, that cocky shell cracked. The confident grown-up act melted fast under the weight of process and evidence. >> I can give you the facts as to what happened tonight and that's all I'm allowed to give you. >> Nothing happened tonight. >> Okay. >> It was a little reckless. What happened tonight? >> Apparently just a little reckless driving. >> It was a little reckless. And >> you tell me >> what y'all going to give me. What do you mean? >> It's going back through it self test again. Stop. >> I'll do that. >> Just Just leave it alone. Okay. >> Just push it. I was pushing it. No, I was pushing it. >> Okay. Just leave it where it is now. Okay. All right. >> Okay. We got to do that one more time. All right. >> What? >> It It takes two samples. [cough] Okay. And the official result is the lower of those two samples. Okay. >> What? What? >> Okay. Same thing you did last time. All right. >> Can I call my mom? >> We can make some phone calls after this. Okay. >> I want to call [laughter] my mom. >> Okay. Ashley, listen to me. Remember this. Remember, >> call my mom. >> All right. Here you go. Take that deep breath in. >> All right. Exhale as hard as you can. >> Hold on. Hold on. All right. There you go. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going for as long as you can. Okay, let's see. We'll see if it took it. Okay. Careful. >> I get it. But we got to get through this process. Okay. >> I'll talk to you the whole time, but we got to get through this. Okay. We have to >> call your dad. It's going to be really bad. >> The faster we get through this, the faster you can call your mom or call your sister and check on your kid. But we got to get through this. Okay. >> All right. Sorry. >> In the end, she was arrested and faced serious charges, including DUI, obstruction, and failure to comply with lawful orders. If convicted, she could be looking at fines up to $1,500, a license suspension for at least a year, and possibly short jail time or probation. So, what do you think? Was justice served, or was it still too light for someone who put the whole community at risk, then tried to hide behind dad to dodge the consequences? Drop your take in the comments. And just when you think it's over, another woman steps onto the runway. On February 5th, 2024, what started as a simple complaint from a flight attendant forced police to step in at the airport. A woman who claimed she was a global YouTuber turned a wheelchair dispute into a full-blown chain of bad choices. And the consequences hit a lot faster than she expected. >> You guys go. >> This lady scored everybody. >> Her, me, and the wheelchair league. Everybody. >> So, so what are you guys doing? try to be home her but she's not. >> So you deny her to fly away. What's going on? >> Probably not because she's under something. >> She can stop bothering everybody. >> But so you guys going to let her fly or not? >> Probably not like that. No, I don't think so. >> So this about to go out? >> No, it's the main she's Spanish. >> Yes. My name is My name is Johanna Hernandez. I have I work on the Mial You >> me you speaking Spanish? >> No. Can she translate? >> Yeah. Yeah. Let her translate. >> Okay. speak Spanish to her. They translate translate to me. >> No, the lady and me say no English. >> Okay. >> Okay. No Spanish. Me Spanish and Edia is speaking Spanish and me [crying] said you're not [laughter] learning English. But you are learning. looking like again she saying she was talking to a lady. She [laughter] just telling me she didn't understand Spanish and I guess alteration happened. I don't know what happened after asking what happened as far as she said she went to spirit. me the operation today 6. Okay. USA. She's the type who doesn't want to solve a problem. She wants to win. She used the language barrier as a convenient excuse to throw around discrimination, not because it was true, but because it sounded believable and put pressure on staff. And once she knew for sure she wasn't flying, she actually asked to be arrested. >> Yes. She has to buy what Jason You don't know who she is. Where's your boarding pass? [laughter] >> Your boarding pass. Your boarding pass. Yes. >> Okay. me. She's she she upset because [clears throat] she wanted a wheelchair way before she checked in. I didn't give her one. She got upset cuz that nobody was understanding and giving her what she wanted. So then she comes to the gate and she starts making the ruckus about why she had to walk so far. And then so now, but my thing is you're here now. So why make the ruckus? You already made it here. She's not understanding that she wants pushing her her her thing. Let's go, man. Come on. Let's go. >> Yep. >> Let's go. When she realized she couldn't change the outcome anymore, she started brushing off every official warning like it didn't apply to her. Running out onto the runway wasn't an escape plan. It was a bruised ego reacting on impulse, choosing to disrupt everyone else's safety instead of taking the L like a responsible adult. >> Let's go, man. >> Hey, you can't be out here. Hey, you can't be out here. Get in the car. You can't be out here. Get in the car. Get in the car. >> Come on. Get in the car. >> No. Okay. >> Hey, get in the car. >> OH. WITH THINGS JUST GETTING STARTED, officers head to the airport law enforcement security chambers. And somehow things get even worse. >> You are the problem. >> Yeah, I know. My deep. No, you my sense. You attended my [laughter] [laughter] I know. >> Stand up. Stand up. You very problem. >> Excuse me. Excuse me. You are speaking Spanish. >> I do not. >> I I need speaking Spanish. >> Liar. Inside the security room, Karen hit her highest level of emotional chaos. When nobody reacted to the big statements that used to get attention, she tried to manufacture a sensitive situation involving gender and hygiene. Not to fix anything, but to shock people and pull the spotlight back onto herself. >> She's from My my precious woman. >> Okay. So, put your hands back here. Let me go ahead and >> Exactly. That's what I'm Okay. I'm going to kick your shoe off. >> Yes. >> Take that one off for me. >> It's good. >> Okay. Come back here. >> Come back here. No. No. No. No. [laughter] No. Don't take that. You do that before YOU >> just take over my friend. >> Where you closer? Put your clothes on. >> Do you need to go now? You want to go now? >> Uh, she ain't got no clothes on that. She >> She took clothes off MY calm down. Calm down. She started acting like a kid in a full-on tantrum. Once her arguments collapsed, she didn't back down. She turned her own humiliation into a last shield. And that pushed airport security's patience into a hard zero mercy kind of test. Hold on. >> I got to put this on her. Okay. [laughter] >> [laughter] >> across the town. That's your fault. Oh no. Yes. Nice. In the end, she was arrested and taken to jail on charges that included violent resisting/obstruction, assault on an officer, and disorderly conduct. Beyond the fines and possible jail time for the physical aggression, she also risked ending up on permanent nofly lists with multiple airlines. Because airport threats aren't treated like drama, they're treated like serious security incidents. A disaster ends out on the runway and another ego steps up to challenge authority. On December 30th, 2024 in Florida, people often assume that those who understand the human mind know how to stay calm when trouble hits. But on this foggy night, a female psychiatrist revealed just how thin the line can be between knowledge, ego, and arrogance. >> Hello. >> Hi. >> Corpor sheriff's office. >> Are you aware that your tire is flat? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> I I was trying to make it back to my house, that's all. >> Okay. Where's your house? >> It's just I'm down the road. Like I'm I'm down here just renting a house. >> Okay. Do you have your driver's license, registration, proof of insurance on you? Ah. Well, I'm I'm just visiting here. >> Okay. Is this your vehicle? >> No, it's it's a rental. >> Okay. Do you have your driver's license on you? >> Yeah. >> I might have left it. >> You might have left it. Okay. You said you're down here visiting? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Where are you from? >> From New York. >> New York. Okay. Hey, just cuz it's super foggy out. Okay. We're on the side of the road. I'm just going to have you step out and we're just going to stand on the sidewalk where it's safe. >> I don't want to get hit. There's a lot of cars passing me right now. >> Okay. So, step out for me and we'll stand by the sidewalk where it's safe. >> Step out. >> Yes, you do. >> Why? I just explained it to you. It's very foggy out here. There's a lot of cars passing me. It's not safe for me to stand here. >> And I have to continue my traffic stop. So, I'd like you to step out and stand over on the sidewalk for me. So I don't have to step out for a step for a >> I wouldn't ask you to do something you don't have to do. I'm telling you you have to step out of the vehicle. Do not make it anything more than it has to be. Just step out of the vehicle and go to the sidewalk, please. Okay, you have to step out of the vehicle. >> The car kept rolling even with the tire worn down to the rim. Debris flying across the roadway. An obvious danger no officer could ignore. When she was ordered to step out of the vehicle, the final boundary was crossed. From that moment on, the loss of control was no longer hidden. It turned into open defiance. >> You can look in here. There's nothing There's nothing for you to see. >> What? What's happening? There's nothing for you to see. >> Okay. Step out of the vehicle, please. >> I will. [cough] >> What's happening here? >> I'm turning your car off. Step out of the vehicle. Well, I know, but why? >> I've told you multiple times and you've not done anything to step out of the vehicle. >> What? What is happening that you're turning my vehicle off? >> I don't want you to drive away while I'm asking you to step off. >> But I have not given any indication that I'm going to drive away. Correct. >> I've asked you multiple times. >> Okay. Step out of the vehicle or I'm going to remove you from the vehicle cuz I've asked you 10 times now. >> But I know. But I said to you, >> step out of the vehicle now. >> Why Why are you arresting? is I'm I'm not arresting you unless you would like me to arrest you for resisting. >> I No, excuse me. What What's she doing? >> Step out of the vehicle. >> I know, but what I'm saying to you is why are you asking me to step out of the vehicle? >> I've explained this to you multiple times. >> No, you have not. You asked me to step out of the vehicle, but you have not explained to me why you've asked >> Step out now. >> I know, but why have you asked me to step out of the vehicle? >> Step out. Step out of the vehicle. >> Hold on. >> Step out now. >> Excuse me. Step out of the vehicle. >> Ask me why you have to ask me. >> I'm sorry. You're going to get pepper sprayed. >> Give me Give me your pepper spray. >> But why have you get out of the vehicle? >> Get out. >> Why did you ask me to get out of the vehicle? >> All right, turn around. Put your hands back. >> No. >> What have I done wrong? >> What have I done wrong? >> Ridiculous. >> What have I done wrong? What have I done wrong? >> What have I done wrong? >> Now you're under arrest for resisting. >> No, I'm not resisting. No, I'm not. You're under >> No, I'm not resisting anything. No, I'm not resisting anything. What have I done? >> I asked you to tell me why you stopped me and you have a body cam on your body. So, I'm asking you to tell me why you stopped me. Why have you stopped me? >> When reality stopped bending to her will, Karen began rewriting the story, casting herself as the victim. She repeatedly claimed she was not resisting, even while being handcuffed. The direct result of refusing to exit the vehicle after more than 10 clear, lawful commands. >> You have to tell me why you >> realize you're driving around with a flat tire when you're throwing rubber all over the road and you're failing. >> I was trying to come over when I was having a flat tire and you asked me if I knew why I was being pulled over and I asked you if it was because of a flat No, we're going to go this way. I asked if you were Excuse me. I asked if it was because of a flat tire and you said that it wasn't. >> You pat her down in order have to get the >> Yeah. >> What are you patting me down for? >> Well, you're under arrest. >> Why am I under arresting? >> Going to be stuck on her. >> I have not resisted anything. >> Okay. >> Well, you have a body cam on, right? >> Sure do. We all do. >> I'm glad that you do >> because I have not resisted anything. I've not told you no. Have I? >> Have I told you no? >> Face the car for me. >> Have I told you no? I don't really want to have a conversation. >> Pull me over and you have not told me the reason why you're arresting me, which is your legal. >> You're under arrest for resisting. >> I have not resisted anything. I have not resisted anything. >> How many times did I ask you to step out of the vehicle? >> Okay, I did step out of the vehicle >> after I removed you from the vehicle. >> But why did you ask me to be stepped out of the vehicle? >> Okay. >> Why? >> Okay. >> But why? No, you have as an officer, you have to tell me why you're pulling me over. >> Okay. Why are you pulling me over? >> You're driving on the road with a flat tire. >> You can't maintain a lane >> and you're throwing rubber all over the place. >> Okay. I'm throwing rubber all over the place. >> Explain that to you at least five times. >> So, I have a flat tire. So, you're pulling me over and you're arresting me for having a flat tire. That's what you're saying to me right now, Mr. >> Roth. >> Yep. >> That I have a flat tire. So, you're pulling me over because I have a flat tire. That's what you're saying. >> By shrinking a serious public safety threat into a so-called technical issue, she tried to make the police response look like abuse of power. This is where a trained intellect becomes dangerous. Selectively trimming the truth, keeping only the pieces that protect one's own ego. >> Okay. >> You You are. >> All right. >> Do you find anything in my pocket? >> I'm not going to get out of my face. >> Do you find anything in my pocket? >> Get out of my face. >> I'm not in your face. I'm not in your face. Good. >> You find anything in your pocket? >> No, you don't find anything in your pocket. >> I've not done anything I've not done wrong. >> I've not done anything wrong. I haven't. >> You're arresting me for a traffic stop for having a flat tire. That's what you said. >> That's what you said, right? Yep. >> Yeah. That's what you said. No. >> Give that to me. >> Give that to me. So, can you see if she wants to do that? >> Yeah. >> And it's on your body cam. So, I hope that you're prepared to lose your job because that's what's going to happen to you. No, it is because that's You cannot pull someone over for a flat tire. You did not offer me assistance. You did not ask me if I was troubled, if I had any issues whatsoever, did you? Oh, but your body cam doesn't show that either, does it? No, it doesn't. You did not ask me if you could help me in any way. You just wanted to arrest me, right? Right. That's right. You just wanted to arrest me. [music] Yeah. Turn up the music. Turn it up. I love it. You're going to be fired, sir. So, I hope that your wife is prepared for that and your children. Hey, excuse me. Can you be human for 2 seconds? I'm a psychiatrist. Okay, I'm a psychiatrist. Can you be human to me for 2 seconds and just tell me why you're doing this to me? >> The title of psychiatrist should imply insight and empathy, but here it gave way to willful disregard. She repeatedly appealed to humanity even as her own behavior made the situation more toxic by the minute. In [music] that moment, manipulation and moral hypocrisy met, cold and unmistakable. >> Very important. Okay. >> You're going to lose your job. >> You're going to lose your job. >> I am now requesting that you submit to a lawful test of your breath to determine >> because you have refused to take the test. request to begin with the driving. You didn't read me my rights before you put me in handcuffs and detain merives before you detain me. You didn't tell me why you were detaining me before you put me in handcuffs. >> Find under statute 327. going to lose your toaw >> or you will be committing a misdemeanor in addition to any any other penalty by law. If you commit I requested is admissible to evidence in criminal proceedings. >> Do you understand what I just read to you? >> No, I don't understand what you just read to me because you >> Okay, that's probably cuz you were screaming the whole time. But with this in mind, you >> I do not understand what you just read to me because you did not read me my Miranda rights before arresting me for spray flat tire. >> Are you going to take a lawful sample of your breath? >> Do not for your breath. >> Consent >> to anything because you don't know what you're doing. >> Okay. >> You pulled me over for a flat tire. >> You pulled me over for a flat tire. >> That's what you did. >> You pulled me over for a flat. >> Right with you. In the end, the woman was arrested and taken to jail on charges of DUI and non-violent obstruction of a law enforcement officer. Despite having no prior record, her refusal to cooperate and her arrogant attitude from the very start cost her any chance of leniency at the scene. What do you think of this doctor's response? Should knowledge come with humility before the law? from a threat of authority to another ego trapped behind the wheel. On July 29th, 2025, police stopped Hama after discovering she was driving with a suspended license for the second time. At first, the officer planned to handle it administratively and let her go. But her attitude pushed the situation in a completely different direction. >> Sure. >> I'm good, man. >> Good. You got your license? >> Your license suspended? Okay. >> It It shouldn't be suspended. I got No, it's suspended again. All right. You got your registration. I ain't going to take you to jail. I just write your ticket. All right. >> I'm trying to figure out why it's suspended. >> Huh? Your insurance? >> I got insurance. >> Not on this car. Maybe another car. >> No, I have insurance on this car. Give me one second. >> No, I No, you have insurance on this car. Maybe you've had insurance on another car that insurance laps. >> No, I don't. This the only vehicle that I have. >> Did you have another insurance company prior to this one? >> No. >> Since you've had this car? Yeah. cuz you got two you got two suspensions and they're both for financial reasons and nine times out of 10 it's insurance related. Okay. >> No, I have >> I know you have insurance on this car right now. >> But what I'm saying is I'm not understanding why is my license are suspended and I have insurance. If you know I have insurance on this car then why my license I'm not with you every day. I wouldn't have an answer for stating that my license is suspended and I have license on my truck. So you pay you pay your ticket. >> I did. I paid all that. That's not for the tickets. It's not for the tickets. It's for the insurance. And I got insurance on my truck. >> Yeah, that you cut it just that way. >> Yeah, I cut my insurance just in time. Somebody else did the same thing. I got pulled over before the same for the same reason. He pulled me over, said my license was suspended, and he had to pull me up in the system and they told me it wasn't suspended. >> No, when I ran your tag. >> Yeah, he >> that's when he say he suspended. So then I checked I checked the other system and that said you're suspended. He ran the tag and everything. Well, I think he was trying to cuz he had no reason pulling me over. But I'm I'm not my my understanding is I don't know if it was you were behind me the first time when I had rolled by before I even went to the store and then rol went on the highway went up and they came back around and parked and waited for me to leave like for what? >> Cuz your license suspended. It wasn't even about the license at first because you had we was >> I I understand Miss Case was coming this way past each other >> and then I turned around >> and you turned around so I didn't give you a reason to turn around because I don't have a tag in front of >> For a Karen police leniency is often mistaken for weakness. When cooperation was replaced with arguing and stepping out of the vehicle turned into confrontation, the outcome was already set. From that moment on, handcuffs were no longer a possibility. They were inevitable. >> So, so you so you ready to go to jail? >> It's crazy. >> So, you ready to go? Come on. Step out. >> This is real crazy. >> Hey, Miss Tazwell, step out, please. >> Step out for what? >> Step out, please. >> I'm not doing anything. >> Step out. I'm not going to ask you again. >> I'm not doing anything wrong. >> Step out the car. >> What am I doing wrong? >> You either step out or I'll pull you out. >> Tell I'm not doing nothing wrong. >> I'm not going to ask you again. >> What am I doing? All I'm not I didn't understand. >> So, what part of driving on a suspended driver's license you can go to jail? Don't you understand? I didn't do anything wrong. >> Get out. Get out. >> I didn't do anything wrong. >> Get out >> because I called him letting him know what's going on. >> Get out >> because I called my dad. That's crazy. You locked me up for nothing. >> Let's go. >> I didn't do any pulling. I'm getting out the car. I'm getting out the car. You don't have to >> Let's go. >> All right. >> Now, put your hands behind your back. >> All right. Somebody recorded this. SOMEBODY RECORDED my father before you get burned. >> Drop the cigarette. >> I can't >> drop me. >> Drop this cigarette. >> Oil me. Get it out my hand. >> Get it out. Get it out my hand for no reason. >> Let's go. >> Can you stop >> this way? >> What you're not going to do is keep pulling on me. >> Let's go. >> That's what you're not going to do. You're not going to keep marrying him on me. >> Do what I tell you to do. >> But what you're not going to do is keep pulling on me >> in the car. >> You're not going to keep on me. >> In the wrong with you >> in the car. is wrong with you in the car. Y'ALL JUST GET SOME BADGES. Y'ALL GET A LITTLE Y'ALL FORGET where you >> She sitting there argue with me by the license. I'm like, >> listen to me. >> I didn't do NOTHING WRONG. NO. >> WHAT'S YOUR NAME? >> CRAZY, BRO. I GOT I JUST GOT MY LICENSE, BRO. I'm I'ming licensed fories. I worked in the I'mma send that all. Come on. >> What is your name? >> Tama. I didn't sign. I didn't do nothing wrong. >> Her real mistake wasn't the citation. It was trying to win against the police through argument. Violence doesn't always come from actions. Sometimes it's in the way words are used to belittle an officer. Backed into a corner, Karen didn't explain. She lashed out with noise and insults. >> I GAVE HIM THE STUFF. >> I GAVE HIM MY STUFF. HE ASKED ME TO GET OUT FOR NO REASON. >> HE ASKED ME TO get out for no reason. >> I didn't do I want a sergeant out here, please. >> Yeah, we'll get somebody out here. >> I need your sergeant out here. Y'all not calling him though. >> We did. He just called. >> No, he didn't. >> Yeah, he did. You screaming >> like that. I'm not screaming. >> They the YOU JUST GOT MAD OVER NOTHING. >> There's two sides to every story. There's a camera on my chest. So, okay. So, why you going to sit here AND LIE? >> I'M NOT LYING. THE PHONE WITH MY BOYFRIEND. I'M TELLING HIM I'M PULLING over for nothing. >> Her boyfriend is the one that told her to get out the car. SHE KEPT >> HE DID NOT. HE SAID CHILL. >> Oh my god. He didn't. >> He said chill. He said chill. He said chill. You said that. You started for nothing on my way home for for 15 16 hours. I don't >> You got a medical marijuana card? >> And I don't. >> You got a medical marijuana card? >> Not with me. >> Do you have one? >> Not on me. >> But do you have one? I used to. >> So why it smells like weed in the car? >> Cuz I was smoking yesterday. >> Okay. Well, >> you think maybe that had to something to do with why you smoking [laughter] to do that because he didn't say nothing to me. >> You don't have to say something to me. >> That was not the reason why. Don't try to say that's the reason why. DON'T TRY TO PUT THAT ON THERE. DON'T TRY TO SAY THAT'S WHY. Don't try to say that's why. >> Stop 20. >> Don't try to say that's why. STOP LYING, Y'ALL. NOW Y'ALL TRYING TO COVER UP YOUR ASS. Now y'all trying to COVER UP YOUR ASS. YES, YOU IS. You get a little YOU GET A LITTLE BADGE on you. You trying to >> She talking about shoot with somebody and got a mouth like that. That's crazy. >> And I am >> and I sat THERE AND TOLD YOU THAT SOMETHING JUST something similar to the same thing. You can drop it down there. Something similar just happened to me a couple of weeks ago. Yeah. >> IT JUST HAPPENED TO ME A couple of weeks ago. Can you answer that call for me? >> Huh? >> Can you please answer that call? >> Oh, I can't answer a call. She never changed her tune. She kept insisting the police had the wrong person, even as the smell of marijuana and signs of impairment became harder to ignore. A senior officer was called in, but only briefly because it was clear to everyone. She didn't want to listen. She just wanted to argue. >> So, at that point, I just open the door, grab her by her shirt, pull her out. We go to the ground, put her in cuffs. She steady resistance. So, I push her up on the car. That's where we are. >> Okay. She's hot yelling, complaining. She wants the supervisor. Supervisor is not out. So, it's where we are. >> The guy on the phone with her when I first told her to get out, he's like, "Just get out." He as long as Make sure you take pictures car take pictures of the inside cuz I don't want to always say we trashed her. >> Yeah. >> You got pockets on there. >> Now, you ready for an explanation or you still going to yell and and carry on? been yelling at you. >> But you ready for an explan Let me Let me give you an explanation. Okay? Cuz everything that occurred was on camera. Okay? So I don't have to have Listen, listen. All you got to do is listen. >> The reason they didn't talk to you out there is because every time my lieutenant said something to you, you talked over him. Okay? So hold on. Hold on. So then, so then the major said, "Hey, you know what? She don't want to listen. We're done talking." >> I was listening. >> So come on, look at me. Let's talk. So, I had a I had a reason that'll take you to jail. I come up there. I said, "Hey, listen. I'm not going I'm just going to write you a ticket." I didn't want for you to do that. >> Driving on a suspended driver's license is a crime. >> And I was telling you my license is not suspended. >> See, look. The same thing happened before. >> You're not listening to me. >> And I was listening to you then, but you dragged me out of the car. You want me to listen to you? >> Because Because I asked you to get out of the car >> FOR NOTHING. FOR NOTHING. I GAVE YOU MY INFORMATION. >> OKAY. SO, we're back to the same spot. We're back to >> You're trying to put it on me. put it on you. >> YOU TRYING TO PUT EVERYTHING on me when you dragged ME OUT OF THE CAR FOR NOTHING. AND I GAVE YOU MY INFORMATION. I GAVE YOU YOU ASKED FOR my license and registration. I DIDN'T NEED I I COMPLIED WITH YOU. I DID NOT REFUSE YOU. I DID APPLY WITH YOU and I gave you that and I talked to my boyfriend on the phone. >> If you comply with me, we wouldn't BE IN THIS SITUATION. >> I GAVE YOU MY REGISTRATION AND MY LICENSE. I was on the phone and you >> This was an attempt to rewrite reality, casting herself as a law-abiding citizen being treated unfairly. After posting bail, she was released with a court date. But hours later, she returned to the station to file a complaint. A lastditch effort to regain control and repair a bruised ego. >> Do what? >> File charges. >> File charges on what? >> Against officer Williams. >> Ma'am, you come up and got a a report. >> I didn't ask for You gave me a You gave me >> You can't file char You cannot file charges on officer, ma'am. You got to do it. >> You can. >> Okay, look. I'm done. Okay. I'm trying to explain to you just like you was on the side of the road with him. You won't listen. You won't listen at me. You cannot You listen. We looked at the video. You cannot listen to them. >> You cannot file a a arrest on officer. They give you a complaint form to fill out. You fill a complaint form. You bring it back up here. They'll do an internal investigation on that case. Okay? Well, I'm I'm telling you what to do. Listen at me. They gave her a form. Fill out the complaint form in reference to what happened. Okay. They will open up an internal an internal on that officer. Now, if that officer was found wrong was found wrong of what he did, then he will be disciplined. He will be disciplined. Okay? And if it weren't for charges being filed against him, then charges will be filed against him through the state attorney's office. It's got to go through the state attorney's office. You understand what I'm saying? You got to do the investigation. They give you the form to fill out. Fill it out. Bring it up here. Turn it in. It'll go to the hire hire up the chief, the major and the captain and lieutenant. >> Okay. Well, those will be filled in. >> Okay. Well, man, we sitting there. >> I'm done, sir. I'm done. Y'all have a good day. >> I'm have a good day. >> Listen, ma'am. Listen, let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. You come up You came up here to You come up here to IPD want information and I explained that you I was on the phone. I wasn't there. He was. Okay. Well, I understand that. Okay. Well, you you listen, stop. You put him in your complaint and they'll call them in and interview him. Okay. If so, okay, but don't come up here with an attitude like Yes, you did. You came up here attitude earlier, man. I'm not arguing with you about this. Okay. I'm not No, I didn't get nasty with you. I No, I did not get nasty with you. No, I didn't. M. You came up here and said you want to arrest somebody. >> Hey, look. I'm done talking with you. This is done. Okay. What I'm asking you to right now do, leave the police department. >> Oh, I I am. But y'all won't hit us. >> Being ordered to leave the police station because of her behavior marked the total collapse of the model citizen mask. She walked out frustrated and defeated, facing charges including driving with a suspended or revoked license, second offense, and nonviolent obstruction of a law enforcement officer. [music] What do you think about her attitude at the station? Is one year in jail enough to teach someone how to listen? Instant regret followed by an even worse slide. On September 3rd, 2025 in Illinois, what looked like a routine traffic accident peeled back the truth about a woman who held local power, but lost her grip on reason once alcohol entered the picture. And this is what really happened. >> Okay. So, why am I smelling the odor of an alcoholic beverage? Be honest with me. >> I'm not drinking. >> Okay. All right. Well, I'm going to have you sniff a couple tests here for me. >> Okay. >> Um, go ahead and step up this way. You can go ahead and wait in your car for me. >> What? >> Beautiful. Go ahead and step up here. We're going to go up here. Okay. >> I have flip flops on, too. >> That's fine. >> Cal, you mind flipping your car around? >> Should I? >> Yep. >> We're just going to go right here. >> Should I call a lawyer right now? >> No, not at this point. >> Should I call? >> No, ma'am. Not at this point. >> So, you make me do this. >> Well, because I smell alcohol on your breath and you were involved in an accident. So, go ahead and take your glasses off on me. >> You bumped your head? Anything like that? No. >> No. Okay. >> Are you able to see the tip of my finger >> without any issues? Okay. >> All right. Go ahead and follow the tip of my finger. Actually, before we do that, put your feet together. Hands down to your side >> and just hold that position. Stay right there until I instruct you otherwise. >> That's fine. No worries. I'm just asking to stand. So, go ahead and follow the tip of my finger with your eyes and your eyes only. Have any questions? >> No. Okay. >> Once again, follow the tip of my finger with your eyes and your eyes only. Do not move your head. Follow the tip of my finger with your eyes and your eyes only. Do not move your head. Follow the tip of my finger. Just the tip of my finger. Don't look at me. Follow. >> Sorry, this is confusing for me. >> It is. You are just following the Watch the tip of my finger. Okay, that's all I'm asking you to do. Put your hands down to your side. Thank you. Once again, follow the tip of my finger. Just your eyes. >> 32. >> Okay. >> The moment the sobriety tests began, the pressure flipped fast. [music] It wasn't just her behavior under scrutiny. Her ego started to wobble, too. When the lies stopped working, Karen didn't stop. She pivoted, using emotion as a last tool to claw back some control. I >> only want you to follow the tip of my finger. Keep your head straight. >> I'm calling a lawyer. I'm not being incriminated like this. >> Okay. I'm I'm giving you simple instructions at this point. Okay. You told me you haven't had anything to drink. >> I'm fine. >> Okay. That is why >> I'm shooken up from an accident. >> Understood. That is That is why I'm having you >> I'm very scared. I understand that. That's why I'm having you show me that you're you're going to be okay to drive away from here if that's the case. >> I want to drive away. Okay, >> my boyfriend's coming and I'm scared. >> Do me a favor. I still have to have you go through these tests for me. >> Okay, >> so go ahead and put your hands down to your side. >> Why? >> Go ahead. Follow the tip of my finger. Once again, you are just following it with your eyes only. Do not move your head. Okay? Follow with your eyes until I instruct you otherwise. Do you understand that? >> Okay. >> Keep following the tip of my finger. >> Well, you're not you're not following it. >> Oh, I see it. Yes, I see it. Honey, >> if you can point to this, >> why don't you go ahead and stand right here for me? Put your feet together, arms down to your side. Face this way for me. All right. Mhm. >> Do you have any problems walking? >> No. >> You have any problems in your knees, legs, feet? Overall, you're a healthy person, you say? Okay. >> Um, are you comfortable in those shoes? >> Yes. >> Okay. And what I'm going to have you do, put your right >> on these if you were to give me tests. >> Okay. Well, go ahead, back up for me. Stay right there. Go ahead and put your right foot in front of your left foot facing me. So, right here. Go ahead and put your right foot in front of your left foot. Hands down to your side and hold this position. Okay. What I'm going to have you do >> flip flops right now. >> I understand. And that's why I asked you, are you comfortable walking in those or no? >> And you told me you were. >> Test. >> Well, I'm I'm having you walk. And you said you were okay to walk. >> I am okay. But yeah, but I only that's all I'm going to have you >> stressful for me. >> Facing the walk and turn test, she began setting up excuses early, blaming outside factors as a preemptive move in case she failed. She even tried to renegotiate the process itself. A familiar sign of someone who needs control when their sense of privilege feels threatened. >> You will walk in those shoes? >> Yes. >> You have a problem walking in those shoes? Okay. >> All right. So, go ahead. Remain in that position. And what I'm going to have you do is put your right, what I said, right foot in front of your left foot, hands on your side. I'm going to have you take nine heel totoe steps in a straight line going forward. I'm going to have you when I tell you to begin, go ahead and go back to where where I said >> it's slippery out too. >> Okay. Right over here, please. >> Your right foot does not go right foot in front of your left foot. Okay. Once again, when I tell you to begin, I'm going to have you take nine heel to toe steps in a straight line follow up on hill. >> Okay? >> When it's wet out, >> you're going to take a small series of steps, turn yourself around 180°, and take nine heel to toe steps walking backwards. I'm going to have you count out loud in the um while taking each step. It will look something like this. I'm going to demonstrate for you. 1 2 3 4 5. I'm taking five steps. You are going to take nine. And you're going to take a small series of steps to turn back around. Once again, counting out loud. 1 2 3 4 5. I am taking five steps. You are taking nine. Do you understand the instructions? >> Do you understand that? >> I'm going to do four. >> What's it? >> I'm going to have to do four and go back. Yes. >> I'm going to have you take nine steps. >> Take a small series of steps. I took five. You are going to take nine. Do you understand that? Yes or no? >> I do. >> Okay, you may begin. Told me you were able to walk in those shoes and you didn't have a problem with it. So, go ahead and put your right foot in front of your left foot if you'd like to reach. No, ma'am. Okay, you >> can't make me do those in flip flops. >> She could argue. She could justify it. But she couldn't hide the unsteady steps. At that point, [music] words stopped mattering. After multiple chances to cooperate were wasted, police patience ran out and the story took a different turn. >> A lawyer. >> Okay, wonderful. We're not going to do that at this point. So, go ahead and put your feet together for me again. >> I'm calling my lawyer. >> Okay. Well, here we're going to do this then. You're under arrest for DUI. >> Go ahead and put your hands behind your back. >> Go ahead and put your hands behind your back. You're under arrest. >> Stop. Stop. >> Would you like to provide me a breath sample while we're out here? >> No. >> No. Okay, cool. >> Can I walk five feet in flip flops? >> Are those good? They're not too tight. >> Why are you doing this to me? >> Because I believe you're intoxicated at this point and you're operating a vehicle. Are those handcuffs good? They're not too tight. >> Okay. Is that a yes or a no? Well, that one tightened up a little bit. I'm going to loosen it up. Just hoping that stick me. >> No, but I need to have put my windows up in my car. >> Okay. Your car is going to end up getting towed. >> Why are you doing this to me? >> Because you're under the influence of alcohol and I believe that that to be the case. So, go ahead and face my partner's car here. >> That's fine. I'm just going to spread your feet nice and wide. I'm going to search you real quick. Make sure you got nothing. Once control was completely gone, the earlier toughness collapsed into fear. Sitting in the patrol car, she stopped resisting, stopped arguing, and in that quiet surrender, she began saying things no one had asked. An unfiltered kind of self-inccrimination that comes when someone knows they've gone too far. >> A really good friend of mine that I work with. >> Okay. I give him all your belongings. >> All right, we're going to walk back to my car. >> I'm fine, though. >> 3351 custody. >> No. >> Sure. >> I just want my my windows rolled up. So, >> we'll make sure that happens. Go ahead and stop right here. Go ahead and stop right here. Stay right here. Why are you doing this to me? >> Because you're under the influence to alcohol. You were involved in a traffic crash. >> I'm fine. >> Okay. >> I'm fine. Go ahead and take a seat. >> I'm fine. >> Yeah. I was probably under the influence hours and hours and hours ago. Yeah. >> I mean, I haven't had a drink since last night and now I'm getting accused of all this. It's [ __ ] up. >> [snorts] >> In the end, the woman was arrested and charged with DUI. She is currently appealing in an attempt to get her driver's license back. What's your take on the downfall of this local official? Drop your thoughts in the comments. From the street to the storefront, the mistakes change shape, but the cost stays the same. We go to tech professionals for help, not to stay on guard, but November 18th, 2024 showed how a service mindset can sometimes hide a very different agenda. When police were called over a theft report, the truth surfaced fast. >> How are you guys? >> Doing good. >> Is there a Kayla Allen here? >> Hello. Can I speak to you? >> Perfect. You have somewhere in private? >> Let me call you back. All right. >> We can step out front if that's okay. >> Uh do you have a separate office or anything like that or is this just >> Okay. Can we go stop here? [snorts] >> Yeah, perfect. That's fine. Okay. I'm officer Torres Police Department. Okay. This is Officer Johnson. Okay. We're over here investig investigating a theft. Okay. Um so before I ask any questions or anything, I'm going to read you your rights. Okay. >> Okay. >> Sounds good. >> All right. You have this. You have this. You have the right to remain silent and to refuse to answer questions. Anything you say may be against you may be used against you in the court law. Do you have the right to consult an attorney before speaking to the police and to have an attorney present during questioning now or in the future? If you cannot afford an attorney, one won't be afforded appointed for you before any questioning if you wish. You can decide at any time to exercise these rights and not answer any questions or make any statements. Do you understand each of these rights I've explained to you? >> Mhm. >> Okay. Having these rights in mind, do you wish to talk to us now? >> Yeah, >> okay. Perfect. So, we are here investigating a theft that occurred. Okay. with one of your clients that you helped with a phone. Okay. It's an older lady. Her name is Paula or Paulie. >> Paul. I work at a phone and stuff, so I >> Yeah. No, you're fine. I guess it was earlier today. I have to read her statement. Um she said that she came in here for a phone problem saying that she cannot download any apps. >> Okay. Um she said that you um told her that she has to get a brand new phone cuz I guess you can't put a SIM card in or some type of card to help her have more storage. So she said that she gave her your phone. She stepped outside to smoke a cigarette and that you went through her phone on cash app and sent her phone. >> Tom doesn't always mean innocent. Sometimes it's the mark of someone who's been dealing with authority for a long time. In techrelated scams, older adults are often targeted. They're less likely to track instant transaction alerts and more likely to trust language that sounds polished and professional. It's honestly just good to come clean. Okay. No, there's no need to lie. I got all the probable cause and evidence to prove otherwise. >> So, this is what she's showing us that was on her phone from her cash app. All right. Would you agree? Um, I'm saying >> yeah, that's me. >> That's you. Okay. All right. Confirming. Polits, which is our victim payment received. >> All right. >> And I didn't receive that. >> You did it. It There's $400 that went to your bank account on cash up. $466. Okay. You already had $66 before that. >> I didn't I didn't even see that come in. >> You're the one that did it, so I I >> I didn't. You can watch our C. We have cameras hang up. >> This is your ammo. I already looked up your your jail history. Okay. You've been arrested for I mean you can tell me fantas card identity theft. All the above. Okay. Opable causes. That's exactly what you just did. So her name's Kayla, right? Kayla. Okay. So we're here investigating a theft that occurred. Okay. From So the complainant called in, okay, saying that she went to the store for a phone problem. I guess there was no um amount of storage on her phone to download apps that she wanted or she needed help downloading apps. She told her that she needs a whole new phone to do so. And I guess there's I'm not exactly what the policy is or how phones work, but she said she needs to get a whole new phone. She's like, "Okay, no, no problem." Um I guess the complainant gave Kayla her phone. She came out here to smoke a cigarette, the complainant, and while doing so, Kayla went on her phone, went on her cash app, and sent her >> jail records told a different story. This wasn't a one-off mistake. It was a calculated pattern tucked neatly inside a familiar service setting. And the thing about transactions is simple. They always leave a trail. That history is what connected the dots into a clear picture. She's >> really silly because her cash up has her whole face on it. So, you guys have confirmed this? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> Yes. >> Do you know when this took place? >> When? Um, it happened today. Cash App's time is weird. It said 9:18 p.m. Obviously, it's 7:21, but she gave the address. Um, we we confirmed, she showed us a screenshot of the Cash App. We looked her up on LCSO um website and this is her MMO fraudulent lease of a credit card um identity theft so on so forth. >> Is she getting arrested? >> Yes. >> Right now? >> Not at this moment. I'm going to contact my sergeant. I'm going to let him know what what's all that's happening and we'll go from there. >> Okay. >> Am I able to speak to her? >> Of course. Uh just give it just um Are you willing to send the complainant back the victim back her money? >> Yes. >> All right. All right, let's go ahead and do that. Um, once she does that, when she's doing that, I guess the district manager wants her to close out her stuff for the job. >> Okay. >> I was asking her if she want because we didn't know what was going to happen. So, I asked her, did she want me to close? >> Yeah. And I think that's what she wants you to do. Yeah. So, if you could just stay t with her, I'm going to call the victim back. Okay. See what she wants to do. >> Yeah. I'm trying to see where it came from. That's a P. P I L. What is that? Two L's. One L. >> Um, two. Yep. Paula. T I L L I S. Yep. >> Bunch of stuff in her car. >> Yeah, that's fine. It's right out the back door. >> Whoever's going to come pick up the car. The numbers shut down every escape route. Denial stopped working [music] and the script flipped to blaming everyone else. She pulled in the district manager, citing how busy the store was and how non-stop the customer flow had been. A perfectly timed smoke screen to blur a truth that was already coming into focus. >> 48 floor 28 Julia tango x-ray. >> I'm being risky. 1929. >> They say there a customer that came in here today. Well, he had a store full of customers. Even my boss been here all day. My boss is the one helping me with the transaction. No, my boss. There's nothing to tell. My boss is standing right there. She the one that helped me with the transaction. I don't know. This >> I'll take >> I'll give them to your manager. That's fine. >> No, those are my keys for my car. >> Oh, they're going to stay in here or where? >> No, I'm going to take them with me. >> Oh, you going to take these with you? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Okay, that's fine. >> Yeah, those are my car keys. >> Um, she covered >> Yeah, she my mom live literally on Center Street. >> Um, yeah. Um, you see that? >> Hold on. I got two phones. >> Okay. >> Your hands behind your back for me like a crane. >> You take your wash off or anything? Y want You want that to go with your mom, too? >> Yeah. Let me just throw this in my car real quick. >> You're bringing both those phones with you. >> Okay. I'm trying my arms a little. I can't cut. When she learned the victim planned to press charges, she called home looking for backup. But her mother didn't take her side. That's when the confidence collapsed. With nothing left to argue, she shifted to complaining about minor aches and pains. The familiar move to avoid facing a reality that was closing in. >> Hello, >> Mom. My car is in the back. >> Okay, but um so so what what happened? The lady say I cash that myself, but me, my boss, and we we had a store full of customers. We was standing, she was standing right there the entire time. >> So, okay. But if ain't no proof you cashed out [clears throat] yourself, her money. >> That's That's what she said when all I was doing was setting up her devices. >> Okay. But wait a minute. So, if [laughter] do you did it show that you cashed out yourself? >> Yeah, it was on my cash app. >> Okay. Well, then you did that. >> No, I did not. All right. >> Excuse me, ma'am. This is Officer Torres Police Department. >> Yes. >> Hello, ma'am. Yes, ma'am. Your daughter is going to be getting arrested for theft. Okay. Um I mean it it just I know I'm sure you understand. It just what she's telling you makes no sense. Uh she went through the victim's phone, went onto her cash app, and sent herself $400. Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. Um, but I guess she tried $500 after that, but it that's when the bank declined that cuz they thought something something was fishy. Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. So, um, but she did send the money back to the victim. Okay. But the victim was very, you know, she she said if the suspect was apprehended, then she wants them to go to jail. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. So, that that's all that we have. Okay. >> Um, she'll be able to call you back into jail. Well, I think they can give her three numbers to contact with. Okay. >> Okay. >> In the end, the woman was taken to jail and charged with conspiracy to commit fraud. This wasn't just about stealing $400. It was about a systematic scheme targeting vulnerable people. As a repeat offender, if convicted, she could face up to 5 years in prison and as much as 2 [music] years of probation after release. Trust drained away in seconds, and a simple refund turned into an arrest. [music] On August 5th, 2023, police were called after a woman refused to leave a U-Haul store over a refund dispute. Even after staff explained the banking process and the store had closed, she stayed put. From there, things escalated fast. >> She's still inside. >> Yeah, she's still inside. >> What's her name? >> I don't even know her name. I didn't do her reservation. She's been told that there's nothing else we can do. Okay. You all right? Hello. >> Hello, ma'am. >> Hey. >> Hi. >> Hi. How's it going? What's your name? >> Sorry. >> What's your name? >> Hello, man. >> My name is >> Yes, I'm still here. >> Monsterland Police Department. Business is closed. They want you to leave. >> They didn't give me my money back. So, >> we're not involved with that. That's >> They've said the company's already refunded you. So, that's between them. >> I called my bank and that's what I'm trying to explain to her that they did not process a refund. >> That's fine. No. Standing here is not going to do anything. When she refused to cooperate, the officer's patient slowly wore thin >> right now. >> Okay. All I'm asking is for my money back. Let me grab my phone. >> You don't get your phone in jail. You don't get it now. >> This is so not fair. >> Don't lock it. Yeah. Are they up top? >> This is not fair. >> See [ __ ] >> Do you see what you guys did? >> They didn't do anything. Ma'am, >> all I wanted was my money back because you guys put me in a situation where I'm not able to move out of my house. >> I sent you those two emails. And you watch me call my bank where they told me it was not refunded. This is not your broken. >> Oh, I swiped my card and you guys tell me you can't give me my money back and now I'm having to go through this. >> This is so >> She kept repeating I didn't do anything wrong, sounding like she was trying to convince herself more than the police. And when the situation stopped going her way, she pivoted quickly, bringing her children into it. That was her last move to cling to control. >> I want you. >> I have no family here. >> Get back. There you go. >> Can I at least hold my phone, please? >> No. >> All right. You're going to come with me now. We're going to go to the park. >> Can I just have >> We're going to go have a seat in the car now. Ma'am, >> I need to make sure that my kids are going to >> We're going to handle that, but right now you need to have a seat in the car. Can you get your This is not fair. Yep. All right. This is so unfair. I came down here to get my stuff together so I can move. >> So, please stop pulling from us. This will go a lot smoother if you just listen to us. >> That happens all the time. >> Let me check these cuffs. Just make sure that we don't get involved with >> But they're refusing to give me my money back. >> Please have a seat. What is my reason for being detained? >> Well, you're under arrest right now for trespassing and obstruction. >> Obstruction of what? >> Obstructionction of justice. >> But what about my rights? Do I not have rights as a citizen? >> You do have rights. You have all the rights, but you don't have a right to stay in your business exposed. >> They took my money and wouldn't give it back. They didn't give me a receipt. They didn't send me an email until you guys got here. >> Have a a complaint for somebody to fill out and then the other person can fill out a witness statement. >> Okay. >> We all both here at the same time. >> Yeah, we've been here the whole day. She wrote with me, so she's kind of stuck here. >> Okay. Yeah, we were both in here when it happened. >> So, whoever just wants to be like the complaintant and ask him >> a manager. So, I guess it'll be >> that'll work. She has to pay the tow bill and she has to pay to get her car out. >> Do I put my weight on? >> Sure. I mean, like I said, I can call her right now. >> Even inside the patrol car, she still believed the right to a refund gave her permission to trespass on someone else's property. That sense of entitlement made it impossible for her to grasp the meaning of criminal trespass despite clear warnings. Meanwhile, the store employees account slowly exposed the truth behind the camera. >> I was trying to like key up with one hand and like hold Flynn's body camera in the other. She has her driver's license on her own >> and we did everything we could to get her a refund. Any card refund takes a few days. She could not understand that it would take a few days. >> Like she did get a refund. It just wasn't like she said she didn't want to >> She got the We called you all traffic. They're like, "Well, it's showing that we refunded her with money on our end, but it's probably going to take at least 1 to 3 days, maybe 3 to five." >> Like business days, too. >> Like it doesn't automatically know. >> Oh, in the pants section. our boss called and tried to talk to her and she was like, "Well, you better just bring me some cash or something and then hung up on her." So then she did also tell her that uh she was not leaving until she got, >> right? Yeah. >> Because she asked to be out of her house >> because money didn't hit her account. She's sitting right there. But we did ask her multiple times. >> Um I have to get record. >> Okay. Thank you. >> Is it [laughter] okay? >> All right. Thank you. >> Yes, I do. >> She's a tiny little person, too. Like she was fighting [laughter] everybody. Yeah, it I'll walk all the way over there before they come in cuz I was just standing over here propped up on the counter when it all happened. >> No, they're Yeah, now she's standing up cuz I just told her that I had emailed it to her. >> Okay. All right. Come on out. You okay? Here we go. All right. >> So, you can stand over here for a second. Just going to check this real quick. Make sure it's good. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> At the booking area, the aggression faded, replaced by a quiet, bitter resignation. Still, the blameshifting lingered as she muttered, "This isn't fair." She was now facing legal reality. Trespassing after warning and nonviolent obstruction of a law enforcement officer. In Florida, a non-violent obstruction charge can carry [music] up to one year in jail and a $1,000 fine. From the service counter to the jail hallway, the face changed, but the stubbornness stayed exactly the same. On August 1st, 2025 in Illinois, police were called to the Joliet Housing Authority after a woman returned to the scene of an earlier disturbance. In this public housing complex, she turned shared space into a stage for stubbornness and an illusion of entitlement. Same spot we were before. >> Okay, I'm gone. >> I'm gone, man. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Put your hand Put your other hand behind. >> Put your other hand behind your back. >> Put your other hand behind you for >> Put your other hand behind me, >> Tiffany. I'm not going to do this. >> And you're going to put it behind your back. >> You can go ahead and sue. She believed that as long as she didn't put her hands behind her back, the arrest would stay a discussion. That initial resistance wasn't about strength. It was about fear of losing status. When word stopped carrying weight, she reached for her next weapon, legal threats. >> 23. >> One for trespassing. State supported property and resisting >> custodial. Stop one for trespass. >> They drop all charges and resisting. They drop all. >> Okay. >> All right. Let's walk. Nobody touched your mouth. >> All right. >> Ain't nobody touch >> mine, too. >> She was convinced she knew the law better than the officers. That belief sat at the core of her entitlement. When things didn't go her way, her emotions crashed fast. Just an hour after being released, she returned to the scene with a knife in hand, turning frustration into a real threat. >> Stop. >> Stop. >> Stop. Or you going to get tased. >> You are going to GET TASED. STOP [ __ ] WALKING. DROP THAT GODDAMN KNIFE. PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. She pulled this knife out of her when he pulled. So, she had this knife on her person. >> That's not my knife. >> I don't knife. >> I don't care whose knife it is. >> That's not my knife. >> Oh. So, so somebody grabbed the knife. >> Where did the knife come from? >> I don't know. NOT MY KNIFE. >> SHE TRIED TO HIDE IT. >> IT CAME OUT OF YOUR bra is where it came from. >> No, I did. I'm going to I'm going to put her in the car for now. >> I want to park a hand. I was trying to walk away. >> No, no, no. Shut up. You got anything else on you? >> Nothing. >> With a Karen mindset, a summon isn't an obligation. It's something you can ignore. That attitude pushed the risk of reaffending skyhigh the very same day. And in every frame, the exhaustion spread from officers to bystanders. Everyone showing their patience had been pushed to the edge. >> [ __ ] nice one. Sure. Let make sure these cuffs >> are double locked. >> Yes, they are. >> They ran up on me. >> Right. Your son. Our son hit me with a brick. >> Yeah. >> The following night, she showed up again at the very address covered by a protective order. This wasn't confusion anymore. It was a striking level of defiance and a blatant disregard for legal consequences. Ignoring clear boundaries only drove the situation to escalate further for no reason at all. >> No, I'm That's why I'm leaving. That's how I'm leaving. >> How'd you get here? >> I walked I'm walking. >> Hey Maya, >> I'm walking. >> 3129. >> I'm walking. I'm leaving. I didn't do nothing to nobody. >> I didn't do nothing. What's your take on this case? Are four arrests enough to wake up a Karen? On December 7th, 2024 in Joliet, Illinois, police responded to a call from hotel staff. [music] They reported a drunk woman causing a disturbance and flat out refusing to leave when asked. The situation quickly escalated, forcing officers to step in. >> My number. >> Yeah. She poured her contempt onto both hotel employees and the police, treating them as if they were beneath her. In reality, she had been told to leave several times, but her arrogance made her deliberately ignore it. >> Thank you, sir. You were playing around playing games, mocking us. Yes, you were. >> Oh my god. I love it. >> In the end, the woman was taken to jail and charged with criminal trespass to real property. Under Illinois law, this charge can be either a misdemeanor or a felony carrying penalties ranging from fines and probation to jail time depending on the severity and her record. On September 25th, 2024 in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, police spotted a [music] car speeding 30 mph over the limit and running a red light right in front of them. The vehicle was pulled over immediately, kicking off a tense encounter with the driver. >> What on earth are you doing? >> You're going 73 mph back there and then you just ran the red. >> I was never going 73. >> Okay, you were, but it's okay. Do you have your uh proof of insurance and your driver's license on you? >> I have my driver's license. Um, >> where are you coming from tonight? >> I live >> Where are you coming from? >> Like where were you at? >> 180. >> I live right there. >> But where were you? counter >> at where it was at. >> A3 ax3. >> Proof of insurance, please. >> I don't have proof of insurance, sir. >> Who's your insurance company? >> I don't have proof of insurance. >> What company do you have? >> I don't have proof of insurance, sir. >> How much alcohol have you had tonight? >> None. >> You haven't had any? >> No. >> Not a drop? >> No. >> Okay. Well, I tend to disagree based off of the odor, slurred speech, your driving behavior. So, what I'm going to have you do is just step out for me. Let's go ahead and step out here for me, please. We're going to go right back in front of my car over here. Just hang out right here for a second. All right. Do me a favor. Turn around here. Face me. Put your feet together just like this. Arms directly down at your side. All right. Have any issues with your eyes or anything like that? Any recent head trauma? Anything? Okay. Put your feet together, arms at your side. All right. Can you see the tip of my finger? >> Yes. >> Okay. What I want you to do is follow it with your eyes and your eyes only. Okay. Do not move your head. Do you understand? >> Okay. >> Put your arms down at your side and follow my finger. Please put your feet together. Please follow my finger. >> Yeah, I did. >> Okay. It's going to stay out there for a second. So, just follow it. Keep your eyes out there. >> Okay. I did do a little test. >> Did you not want to finish it? >> No, I'm saying I did do a test. >> No, we're I'm not done. Do you want to finish the test? >> The woman showed arrogance and denial of responsibility, believing her social status would protect her from wrongdoing. When asked to perform field sobriety tests, she flat out refused, ignoring warnings that her non-compliance could lead to immediate arrest. >> Until the tests are completed. >> Hold on. >> Okay. Do you want to finish it? >> No, actually, I'm so done. Okay. You're under arrest. >> No, I'm actually not. >> Don't resist. You're under arrest. You're under arrest. >> For what? For what? Don't for You're under arrest. >> Let go of me. Let go of me right now. >> Stop. You're under arrest. >> Let go of my arm right now. >> Let go of my arm right now. >> Stop. >> All right. Don't Don't make this worse. Stop. Just >> Are you kidding me right now? >> Bro, are you kidding me right now? >> You need to calm down. Uh-uh. No, we're not doing that. >> Oh, we're not doing that. >> Hey, send somebody else over here. >> Got one under us for five and she just kicked 68. >> I didn't kick anyone. >> I cannot wait to hook your ass. >> To what? >> Hook your ass. Both of you. I can't wait to cook. >> I don't know what that means. >> Cook? Yes. >> Cook you? >> Yeah. What's that mean? >> Yeah. You're okay. You know exactly. >> No, I really don't know what that >> feels like a man when you do this. I hope you feel like a man. >> Ew. Loser energy. I don't even know how you went or women that even respect you. >> Get a blood draw for this. >> Oh, please do. >> If we can get the rap out, that would be fantastic. >> Blood draw. Please. Oh my god. You guys are pathetic, honestly. >> Separate your feet. >> No, no, no. Separate your feet. >> No. Get. Don't touch me. Please do not touch me. Let go of me. Let go of me right now. >> I'm not going to let go of you. You're under arrest. >> For what? >> For OWI. >> What have I done? >> Well, your driving behaviors. So, you were going 73 and a 45. >> You cannot ran contain me. You cannot touch me this way. >> No. >> This is against the law. Let go. This is against the law. >> No, it is. >> The only thing against the law here is you operating a motor vehicle impaired. >> Let go of the >> Even knowing she was about to be arrested, the woman tried to resist, going so far as to kick an officer, making the charges much more serious. When she couldn't fight physically, she turned to arguing, insisting she knew the law. A classic reaction often seen in Karens who believe they have special rights. >> Stop acting like a child. I'm not acting like a child. >> I want >> Don't Don't do that. >> You're under arrest. You So, right now, you've got obstruction. You've got assault on a law enforcement officer. >> Put your foot into the car. >> No. I'm sorry. What am I under arrest for? >> Ow. I assault on a police officer. Resisting obstructing. You want to make it worse? >> No. >> Put your foot in the car. >> Listen to me. Excuse me right now, please. >> Will you submit to an evidentiary chemical test of your blood? >> No. >> Okay. >> I don't submit to any of the test. >> 39 to 23. That's a negative. >> Do you understand? Not Do you understand that you don't have permission to do this? >> You don't have permission to do this. I'm telling you right now, you don't have permission to do this. >> There's one, >> girl. I'm telling you legally, >> my will. You do not have permission to do this. >> IT'S NOT A WARRANT. A WORD for what? >> Out of your mind, dude. I can't wait to sue the out of Oak Creek Police. >> I honestly can't wait to do it. >> All right, let's just stabilize her. >> Let go. Let go of me. >> Hey 23, you want to come over here and help us get this wrap on? I cannot wait to get my lawyer on your ass. >> Only making it worse for yourself. >> Oh, yeah. I'm making it worse for myself. Oh, really? Can I? Can I? >> Can you what? >> Can I make it worse? >> Her insults and foul language didn't save her, but instead only made things worse. Her behavior exposed a lack of understanding of the law. Meanwhile, the officers remained professional, clearly explaining her violations and her rights according to proper legal procedure. Because if I could have kicked you in your face outside of my car, I wouldn't have because you're loser piece of I hope you go home at night. >> And I hope that you get cancer. >> Well, that's not very nice. >> I don't care. That's what I hope for you. Honestly, that's my only wish for you. >> You have no choice. We have a search war. >> You know what's You know what's really funny is you're telling me I have no choice, but I do have a choice. Yeah. It's called the law. And I do have >> Yeah. The law says that we can legally take a sample of your blood and that's what we're going to do. >> Who says that? But honey, I don't think how funny, how insignificant is our life. If I was a loser, fat piece of that worked as a nurse in the ER. But I don't know. >> Didn't you say you worked here >> a million years ago? Not as a nurse sitting here laughing at people in the >> I was just trying to be nice, but >> Oh, trying to be nice? That's wild. Why you having me in a hog tie? Like, oh, just try to be nice. Like, honestly, I wish I had a video camera right now to make a real out of this dumb >> a legal document. No, it's not. >> Okay. It is certain time court judge. >> Actually, no. A circuit court judge did not sign that document. I just can I You are welcome to contest that in court. >> What's the time documented on on that signature? Yeah, there's no time. Yeah, cuz it's a fake signature. Get me the out of this place. Honest to God, get me out of this [ __ ] Call me L. This is so ridiculous. You gave me a fake document with no assigned. [clears throat] There's no timestamp on it. >> Now, you can contact your attorney when we get back to the police station. >> No, I'm contacting my attorney, right? I wish to speak to my attorney right now. >> I will not. Okay. >> It is my right. If you fight with us, you're going to turn your misdemeanor into a felony. >> Oh, wow. That's wild. I actually wish to speak to an attorney right now, immediately. >> I understand what you wish, but it will not happen. >> I'm not threatened by you. >> The woman refused to accept reality, claiming the arrest warrant was fake and that the presence of six officers was just a training drill. She repeatedly demanded a lawyer at the hospital, but legal procedure specifies that this right is carried out at the station once the arrest is complete. >> Your permission to take my blood. We don't need your permission. We have a warrant for your blood. >> We are going to take your blood. >> Permission to enter my body. >> You can say whatever it is that you wish. We are taking your blood. >> This is against the law. >> No, ma'am. It is not. >> You driving drunk is against the law. That's why we're here. >> You giving that fake. That piece of paper is [ __ ] >> Okay. These officers are going to put you on the floor and you're going to be wrapped. The rap will not allow you to your blood is going to be drawn. >> Actually, I not comply with the orders. force [laughter] will be my >> Why are you putting me on the floor? >> Just so you know, the rest >> unless you comply with us this way. >> You will be able to call your attorney in the morning county jail. >> No, actually I do not agree to answer this. >> I do not agree to any of that. Your disagreement is noted. Everything is recorded. >> I don't think that my disagreement is recorded because I'm telling you I'm not agreeing to this. >> We don't need all I'm asking for your blood. >> I ask for an attorney. >> You can have an attorney. You will have an attorney. Just >> right now. >> Do you have anything on you that I don't know about anything in your brawl? Anything like that? Okay. cuz you are going to go down to county tonight and they have body scanners and if they see that if you have anything that you're not telling me about then that's a charge down there holding you. >> Well, because this is a third OWI. >> No. No, it's not. [clears throat] >> Well, it is. So, that's why you're going down there. All right. >> Oh, >> okay. Do you have any pockets or anything? No pockets. Is there anything in your bra? No, nothing in your bra. Okay. >> Let's turn around. We're going to face that gray dome up there. It's another camera. >> Don't do this. Please don't do this. I don't have a choice. So, face that gray dome. That's a camera. Okay. And separate your feet for me, please. >> It's I'm not on a Thursday. >> In the end, the woman was arrested and face charges of third offense drunk driving, resisting obstructing an officer, and assaulting a police officer. After going to court, her final sentence was 18 months of probation, a 2-year driver's license suspension, and a fine of $1,800. Do you think that fine is fair for a third offense? Leave your comment below. On June 2nd, 2025, police were called to supervise a man as he gathered his personal belongings from his ex-girlfriend's house. Officers were requested to prevent violence after the woman's family was accused of threatening him. What seemed like a simple situation quickly turned tense. >> So, do they know you're coming? >> Uh, I didn't say anything. >> I think he was too afraid to tell him they were coming cuz she was threatening to let his dog out or something. So, we haven't said nothing yet. >> Look, man, I don't want no drama or any of that. >> All right. You got your ID with you? >> You just trying to get his stuff and get his dog. >> I understand. >> So, you haven't talked to them at all? >> No. Her daughter, their daughter messaged me and uh I was at work and it's just all over because, man, I'm trying to get to work and [ __ ] you know. I got to work and everything. >> Yo, he's not asking. He's asking, "Have you talked to her about coming here?" >> Not about coming here. No. that. >> No. >> Okay. >> But they're going, but it's it's it's this game of cat and mouse basically where they tell him to leave and then he goes to leave and then they like force him to stay. It's happened like two or three times already. He's just trying to actually get it to happen and we feel like president police officer would actually >> How much stuff do you have? >> Oh, my dog and probably some clothes. >> Dog and some clothes. How's it going? >> Huh? >> Doins. >> Yep. >> So, uh, right. Let's get his stuff. >> Oh, really? Okay. Yeah. Give me a second. Do you want to come to the the garage? >> Okay. So, I'm on a motion for him to come down here so he can get his stuff. I'm going to stand by and then uh uh I guess Lil got a OP against him, so I'm going to serve that, too. He's not coming this house. >> Why are the cop Why are >> Ask for a wall. >> I didn't do [ __ ] >> He's just here to his property. >> He can give me mine. He's not coming house till you have a line. Thanks. Bye-bye. Bye-bye. >> All right. Well, he lives here. So, >> no, he does not. HE DOES NOT LIVE HERE. ON THE ADDRESS they put in that door. You don't live here. No one's coming. >> As the man approached the house with officers, a woman and her daughter came out to block him. Even after police explained his rights, the daughter loudly and aggressively refused. Her behavior showed a sense of entitlement, believing she stood above the law and pushed the tension to a whole new level. >> [ __ ] >> He has my [ __ ] He's not getting No, do not. No. >> What do I >> The [ __ ] that's in your [ __ ] >> I told you. >> Yeah. And you CAN GET OFF OF HIM. SORRY, we don't do that. >> Oh, yeah. Straight up with >> Don't stop. >> You You put your hands up. >> Turn around. You're under arrest. >> Don't you dig this, [ __ ] Don't touch me. >> DON'T TOUCH ME. >> DON'T TOUCH ME. >> GET ON THE GROUND. YOU'RE GETTING CHASED. >> GET ON THE GROUND. YOU'RE GETTING CHASED RIGHT NOW. NOW. on this morning. >> On your arrest for aggravating a BAD POLICE OFFICER. GET ON THE GROUND OR YOU'RE GETTING TASED. >> I don't care. Get on the ground. YOU'RE GETTING TASED NOW. [screaming] >> You're under arrest. You're under arrest. >> YOU PUT YOUR HANDS ON ME AND YOU'RE GETTING TASED. >> You put your hands on me, you're getting tasted. >> Get the OFF MY PROPERTY NOW. >> GET OUT OF MY FACE. GET OUT OF MY TUNE. >> HOLY [ __ ] >> She's breaking. >> You're under arrest. >> You're under arrest. >> Good. Get the out of here, you piece of [ __ ] >> You guys are too dick. >> Oh, she she's she's she's got a she's got a felony coming now. >> She hit me. >> Baby, man. She hit me. She's got a felony coming. >> She did. >> Grabbing her. >> She did. >> Whatever. Stop. >> When I went to intervene for her hitting you all she want. >> She's got a felony coming. So >> man, we're not >> No, dude. This is [ __ ] He ain't going to sit there and grab her up. She's got my baby, dude. >> Okay. >> I ain't going to do this to the kid. Okay. He was trying to protect you. Stop >> trying to tase her. >> Take a second. >> When she puts hands on, then >> stop. >> Yeah. You need to take a breath. We are out here right now. Okay. He was just trying to do his job. You need to stop. >> Hell no, bro. You're not >> I don't know if it was either issued or they didn't tell me it wasn't. Okay. [music] >> What? >> I not want that [ __ ] happening. >> Okay. But it's not your fault. >> Listen. Stop talking. Stop talking. >> She >> He did not do She came after the cop, dude. >> No. Are you serious? >> Yeah. >> And probably they're all three going to go to jail. her and her parents. >> Dude, >> what the >> She started that and they're all getting charged. Dad went in the house. So, mom and dad got an obstructing charge coming and she's got an egg back to the PO. >> So, and then they closed the garage door. >> All of them, right? >> Yeah. >> Right. >> Well, hang on. >> So, they're not going to answer the door, but we're going to knock on it. And if they refuse, then that's fine. But we got to try. >> So >> So we have a domestic egg bat. >> We got a domestic cuz she hit him, right? >> Yeah. >> The man in black was lucky to have a calm friend by his side while his girlfriend spiraled out of control. Despite being pregnant, she attacked her boyfriend and resisted police, exposing [music] instability in her behavior and upbringing. Backup units arrived quickly to take the next steps. >> I'm going to go see if they witness anything. Spencer's checking for cameras here real quick and they called 911. So we're going to get statements from them before we try to make contact with them. [laughter] >> Yeah. So yeah, their whole family is getting arrested except for the kid. >> My daughter >> 131 on that one. Okay, let's come over here. Let's stand over here. So help me understand what's going on. I I wasn't affirmative. I was not here obviously. Okay. So, all I did is my officer calling for units in in what it sounds like an emergency situation. Okay. So, help me understand what happened in your driveway. >> Okay. Came to get stuff. >> Okay. >> They were coming up to the garage. My daughter said he's not coming in the house. The officer is like, "Well, he lives here." She goes, "Not according to his address on his license. It is a Belleville or whatever address. He is not coming in unless you have a warrant." Thank you. Bye-bye. Starts >> talking some stuff knowing it's going to off which again you guys are here without somebody from my daughter's mental health. Why? Because responding to my house. Okay. Anyway, >> let's focus on talking about what's going on. >> And then so she went to go after me. I was telling her stop. I knew what she was going to do. You know, she hit him. Then the officer was coming up to her, >> intervening like he should. >> Yes. And all that was doing was setting her off. And then he pulled out the taser and was going to tase her. I'm like, she's pregnant. And so I'm in front of her to make sure she didn't get tased. I'm sorry. Yes, I did intervene. I'm not going to let my daughter get tased with my grandbaby inside of her. >> Okay. So, let me make sure I'm I'm following. Okay. When did the garage door get closed? when they were standing up there and as I was holding her so she would not get tased. >> Who closed the garage door? >> I you know through it all. I don't know because we kept trying to let the officer know she's pregnant. She's pregnant. She's pregnant. Please. >> But we we can agree that the right move isn't blocking or shutting the garage door. It's understanding that she is just >> Her mother tried to excuse her actions stressing mental health issues in pregnancy. She argued the violence was triggered only because police came too close. But when a senior officer laid down firm legal reasoning, the entire family shifted into stubborn denial, refusing to accept reality. >> He was he was here long enough to be and we're going to talk about that. >> I'm sorry. Explain this. It doesn't matter what address is on his license. If he's lived here more than two weeks, he's an established res. There's an active OP. He's no longer allowed back here. The situation is done. What had to be accomplished today was him gathering his things and that was done. He's not allowed back here be arrested if he came back here. >> What about getting in her stuff? And that's what she was trying to ask the officer. >> Hold on. But here's the deal. We can't get to that if we're screaming not allowing somebody to come in when a court order says that he's allowed to come get his going to go off script for just a minute. But I'm going to give you just a wee bit of advice, just a little bit. I don't think boyfriends need to move in anymore because I've been here for several boyfriends and it's never been a good combination at all. >> I know. I think that's step one in repairing whatever she's got going on. Boyfriends probably don't need to listen. And I know she's got a lot of mental health stuff going on. She's had a lot of trauma in her life. I'm not trying to downgrade any of that. I I am very familiar with with what she's experienced, but we can't use that as a crutch every time. >> Oh, I know. You know, I mean, she and that's probably why he brought the the cop over here >> because she he has to bring I'm just telling you she's going to >> go in there and engage in that. We're not. We don't do that. >> Well, I'm just telling you she's going to fight every tooth and nail and you guys are going to have to you guys are going to use excessive force and then she's going to end up >> not even >> He was going to tase her because she was fighting him and he was alone. What do you think he should do? >> He sat there and she assaulted me. >> Going to keep justifying you. Yeah. No, it's not fine. >> No, but I'm saying what is wrong with you? >> I'm not saying it's fine. But she hitting him once >> and then you want to go and then she hit me >> cuz you were like right there in her intervening in her domestic battery that she was committing. >> Yes. She was under arrest at that point and now she's looking at a felony. >> She was saying bye-bye. You could have just stepped off, not keep walking up to her. >> She's the one that ran out to the street. >> The daughter became the common thread in every broken relationship. Her mother kept blaming the ex-boyfriend and the police, even as she watched her daughter physically assault an officer. They believed they were right. But the real concern is for the next man who steps into this cycle. >> You're not free to go. >> HOW? I'M NOT UNDER ARREST. I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING. YOU >> ACTUALLY ARE. YOU'RE UNDER arrest for obstructing >> for obstructing >> when you prevented me from arresting her. >> All right. >> So, she's going to have charges pending >> and let's go out of here >> because I'm not going to let my daughter >> too if he comes over >> because I'm not going to let my daughter get tased. So, I'm under arrest and I'm not >> I AM ARRESTED BECAUSE I STOPPED HER FROM GETTING TASED BEING PREGNANT. >> YOU GOT TO STAY INSIDE. WHY DON'T YOU GET UP ON PROPERTY? DAVID, DON'T YOU TOO. >> You got [screaming] arrest COMING, TOO. YOU GOT YOU GOT AN OBSTRUCTION. >> STOP. >> DON'T. >> STOP. You're hurting me. >> Then stop trying to pull away. >> Stop trying to pull away or you're going to catch a resistant. STAND UP. >> IT HURTS. >> Then stand up. >> I have A [ __ ] HEART PROBLEM. YOU STUPID SON OF A >> Stand up. >> ALL RIGHT. DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THAT? >> Stand up. >> It hurts. >> Stand up. It hurts. >> I can see it's loose right from here. >> It hurts. It is digging in. >> They're not meant for comfort. Have a seat. >> I'm asking to please just loosen it. I'm not going to fight. Damn. >> Lose. It hurts right there. >> All right. Sit back. Once I get her in and take off, we'll take off. I just want to wait till >> I just want to make sure he done. >> He doesn't He's not Well, he's not supposed to have any. He says he's not got He had his fully car revoked. I've talked about a couple times. This is part of the ups and downs that we've dealt with on every single occasion. >> I was trying to be nice and come out and talk with you guys. Can somebody call my family and tell them to take the food off the stove that I was cooking? So, my house >> David. >> Hey, man. Hey. Sorry for my exes running my mouth. >> All right. So, listen. I'm going to be straight with you. All right. >> Okay. >> Based on the circumstances that took place out there, okay? You're also going to be charged with obstructing. Okay. >> So, we're gonna take you into custody, take you in the back, get your printed, get you knocked out. You'll talk to Officer Hancock, get your statement done, and then you guys are going to be released. >> In the end, the entire family was arrested. The daughter was charged with aggravated battery on an officer in domestic violence, potentially facing prison time. Her parents were charged with obstruction, punishable by fines or jail. The family now faces serious legal consequences for their violence and defiance.
