Okay, I'm going to give you the one chance to be honest cuz we all know why we're here right now. Okay? So, there was at least three separate times that this occurred. Honestly, I don't know what you're talking about. You have no idea? No. Okay. They say the truth will set you free, but for these scammers, it's exactly what locks the door behind them. What in the world would compel you to steal all that mail today? You're running around here looking like freaking Santa Claus. I got the MONEY HERE. I PAY REAL. SO, GIVE ME MY [ __ ] STOP TOUCHING. >> Don't hit me. >> The [ __ ] STOP TOUCHING. DON'T LET YOUR PRIDE SAY NOTHING. CUZ I DON'T GIVE A [ __ ] CUZ I DON'T GIVE A [ __ ] BUCKLE UP AS WE PEEL back the masks of innocent mothers and polite ladies to reveal the cold, calculated hearts underneath. Instead of Christmas joy on December 20th, 2024, a career scammer faced a cold reality at Best Buy. Her old tricks hit a wall of vigilance, and justice had a special gift just for her. Here is what actually happened. Come in. I'm with police. So, we are just going to detain you for a second, all right? You're just under investigation right now. Appreciate your ongoing cooperation. And we'll explain a little bit more once we go outside so we don't have to blast your information. Can I see your credit card? Yeah. Is that your ID? Can I see your ID? So, just so you know, you're not under arrest. You're just detained right now. Uh we're just investigating a fraudulent return. So, we're going to ask you some questions, and then we'll try to get you out. Um So, they're calling in cuz they're saying you're trying to do a fraudulent return. Can you tell me what's going on? I'm just buying Christmas gifts. Buying Christmas gifts? >> Yeah. Okay. So, are you here to return anything tonight? >> Tonight with just Polaroid, which I have a receipt for. You were returning the Polaroid? >> Yeah. Okay. When did did you buy that? Uh I would say within the last 2 weeks. Last 2 weeks? Okay. And I bought the uh tablet. Which I don't know if he charged my card. The tablet? Yeah. >> From tonight or >> Yeah, tonight. Okay. Uh I have to check my credit card statement cuz I can't remember if he processed it. Okay. I don't think he did. No, because he was trying to get me to sign up for the Best Buy credit card. The teller was? Yeah. Okay. >> Yeah, and so that's why we didn't go uh receipt with the transaction cuz he wanted to uh run my credit card uh my credit report so I could just sign up for the Best Buy card. By blaming the cashier, she tried to turn her own crimes into a system error. Using the holiday rush to exploit people's kindness, that tells you everything you need to know about her character. Um so, why do you think they're saying it's fraudulent? Did they say? Yeah. That's why they called. They said you were making a fraudulent return. I have no idea. Did you buy it at this Best Buy last time, the Polaroid? I I might have been. Did it say on the receipt? The Polaroid? Yeah. Oh, yeah. This says it. Yeah. I mean, I have a receipt for it. What questions would I like to ask her? I didn't call Best Buy right now. I didn't Um so, did you bring in the vacuum and the Polaroid today? Uh yeah. Okay. So, when we review camera footage, it'll show you entering the store with those two items. Yes. Okay. Did you go anywhere else within the store or did you just go straight to the customer service to meet that employee? No, but I have been here at the switch and stuff. Okay. Um, did you steal like anything else? No, only the tablet. Tablet. Oh, what kind of tablet? Uh, the Lenovo. The Lenovo. Okay. Um, they didn't have it on the counter so I don't think they charged you anything like that. >> Yeah, but they didn't want to do it with my credit card. So, yeah. When we review the camera footage it's going to show you coming in with nothing or it's going to show you coming in with the vacuum and that will already be on camera. Yeah. How'd you carry it? Uh, in the cart. The cart. Um, that that blue shopping cart right there? Yeah, the one I had. Okay. So, it'll show those two items in there. Um, the items should match the serial numbers on the receipt, I'm assuming. You would think so, yeah. Uh, have you opened Have you opened them before? >> No. Uh, have you done anything like this in the past? No. Why would they say that you're have done this before? I have no idea. She hoped the police wouldn't bother checking the cameras. But in this showdown, her past record was the final blow. Her refusal to confess wasn't self-defense. It was the mark of a soul hardened by crime. Can you give me the lowdown on this gal just all together? Um, I've seen her today. We have this. Um, I have all of Mary's stuff also has case number on her. For her doing it over there, I think that's all I have on her currently. Stevie takes really good notes. When is this from? Do you know? Oh, damn. It was, let me see this one. Here's her notes on her. Oh, we got time on that day? It's about 9. Um, this is like a >> [laughter] >> everything that she's done like in the store and stuff. Did you guys complete the refund at Dillard's? Did she get for the items or any kind of goods? Uh Um no, she she didn't. >> Okay, so you so >> Not tonight. Not tonight. Okay, yeah, we know the previous ones. I know she's uh Which is why I I got myself involved in this one. I'm like, "We already lost enough. I don't want to lose anymore." Perfect. And you guys recognize her from the previous one? Oh yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. We were compared. Perfect. Uh So, what do we have? Report. What do we have? Attempted theft. Uh tonight, but [music] well, she she's listed as a suspect as well. We recognize her from the So, we have theft from the Um is this a statement for today? For today? Yeah, could you include in there that you recognize her from the previous theft? Can you say that case number and just write it in there? Yeah, I think >> Uh if you already did that, you may have. I don't know. You guys are pretty much on the I already recognized the subject. Perfect. Uh Will you put the case number? >> She doesn't need to. No? >> [music] >> No, well, well, you already gave it to us. Yeah, I gave it to you. Um I want to take photos of you. Hold on. Best Buy's blacklist was the ironclad evidence that ended her games. Her sudden silence wasn't out of regret. It was the bitter realization that the prison doors had already opened for her. We watched the security footage and you did not walk in with either of the items. So, do you want to change what you said earlier? Did you walk in the store with those two items? Okay. Did you walk in the store and pick up those items and then go to the counter? Cuz they have it on video and we just watched it. No. No what? No, I didn't. No idea? No, I did not have any. Okay, so what about the previous contacts? Cuz they have a running list of you coming into the store and you're kind of just pulling the same thing. All within this month. Yeah, cuz I'm I'm shopping for clothes. Are you But you're coming in empty-handed and saying you want to return stuff that you took off the shelves. But I have a receipt. Maybe for one purchase, but the other two times that's not the case. Do you need You what? Tonight the cameras caught you walking in empty-handed. >> Wait wait a minute. Do you have a lawyer cuz I need to go pick up my son. So, okay, we want to ask you more questions. You can uh search her. Okay, so can you stand up for me and then spread >> Can I Can I please pick up my son? >> You're under arrest for organized retail theft. I need you to just stand there and face the vehicle. Do you have someone I can call for you or something? Uh no family friend, no friend. Okay, just stay facing the car and widen your stance. Don't Face the car and widen your stance. Face the vehicle and widen your stance. Officer, can I pick up What do What do I need to do? I need to pick up my son. Ma'am, I'll let you call him in a bit. Officer, please. He's locked up. I need to pick up my son. Stand up. Using her children as a get out of jail free card is a new low. She didn't just neglect their safety to go stealing. She heartlessly used her own flesh and blood to manipulate the law. Don't Officer, please. I need to pick up my son. You can go down there and eat food. He doesn't have a phone. We're trying to help you out as much as possible. I'm sorry. Officer, please. You're just delaying everything right now. Please, officer. You're going to jail. Can I please What is What is going to do to pick up my son? Is there anything I can do tonight, please? You can bail out probably. But you got to get processed first. Oh my god. >> So, you think acting like this is going to make you feel better? I need I want a resolution. What do I need to do to pick up to pick up my son tonight? >> is you're getting This is the resolution. Picking up the home security video, you're going to get processed. Oh my god. You can bail out, but if you keep acting like this, it's going to delay things out. I'm sorry. I need to pick up my son. You're not going to do that right now. How long will it take? >> First of all, how old are you? I'm 42. >> Okay, start acting like it. You're acting like a child. I'm worried about my son. That's why we're going to try and let you make a call. We don't have to. You're not entitled to a call. I'm sorry. Is she searched? Yeah. Search Put her in the car. Let's go. Oh my god. I need to pick up my son. I'm so sorry. I don't know anything about that. I'm so sorry. You can chill while we get the statements. Um can you just hang out here while we go get the statements? Sure. Ultimately, she was hauled off to jail on charges of organized retail theft, refund fraud, and resisting arrest. If convicted, she's looking at two to five years. [music] It makes you wonder, why would a 42-year-old woman with a family choose a life of crime over honest work, especially knowing the police were already watching her? Goodbye to our scammer. Now, let's look at this self-appointed mail carrier, and trust me, what's in her bag is even more shocking. On March 22nd, 2026, Florida's peace and quiet was shattered by a woman carrying a bag full of everyone else's business. When family mailboxes became her personal shopping mall, the police had to step in to set things right. And here is the real story of how it went down. You need to come with us. For what? Cuz you're detained for lawful investigation. Okay. >> Okay? What am I being detained for if you don't mind me asking? We're going to go ahead and describe this. A lawful criminal investigation is all you need to know right now, okay? So, you're not free to go. Come out with us. We'll grab your stuff. Don't worry about it. >> Okay. Can I call my um No. Nope. We're going to go ahead and grab your stuff. We're going to take this right here. >> Okay. We'll talk about it in a few minutes. Okay. All right. I'll grab your stuff. Don't worry about it. stuff fell on the floor of her What's up? My mind is a >> You can't leave. Did you buy it? Um How did this come to get here? Oh. Yes, you can. Hold on. Don't move or it won't What stuff fell on the floor? All my fingerprints are on there. You Your nerves? Yes, I did. You can call my dad. In there? Hold on one second, Alora. You said you dropped stuff in here? Um it was the toilet paper. I had to go get out of here. I'm going to call from here. All right. Now I'm going Okay. Is that candy from here or not? Yes, sir. It's all mine. What store were you in? I was in the bathroom. Hmm. >> [clears throat] >> All right. I'm going to take this piece. I got to go to the bathroom. Is all of this stuff Rita? I'm going to Uh no, that's not all mine. Rita? Right now. All right, man. Okay. Yes. All right, man. Yeah. I'll I'll I'll grab her stuff real quick and we'll go outside and chit-chat, okay? What was your name, miss? Uh can you spell that? Okay. Miss Miller, we're going to go outside and chit-chat for a moment. This is all your stuff, right? >> Yes, sir. Okay. That's fine. I didn't do No, that's fine. That's fine. That's fine. All right. Let's head outside. She really thought being sweet as pie would buy her a pass, acting like she was just a victim of a big misunderstanding. But once that sack full of stolen mail came into view, the nice lady act went right out the window. Suddenly, she was pointing fingers at everyone but herself. Okay. Sorry. What's up? What's up, man? I am >> Miss Miller, I'm going to cut right to the chase. Okay, I'm going to give you the one chance to be honest cuz we all know why we're here right now. Okay? So, what in the world would compel you to steal all that mail today? You're running around here looking like freaking Santa Claus. >> Um I did not have that bag to begin with when that woman stopped me. >> Okay. Um I was actually holding on to it for a friend cuz he was actually going up the road Okay. >> and doing it. Um Who's your friend? Who's my friend? >> Yeah. Um her name is Rachel. Rachel? Rachel? I don't know anybody named Rachel. What's her last name? >> I don't know. She's redhead. She tricks. She tricks? Yeah. >> Goodness gracious. Yeah. Okay. So, that's why I gave that to the to the woman. I was like, I I I You know what I'm saying? >> So, so you left there, right? And 15 minutes later, some other guy called and said that you were at hit there. No, I stopped at um the house. I can show you the house. It's right here to take my hoodie and everything off. All right, but what happened on the street when you left that lady? That lady So, that lady called the police Well, see the The problem with that is, Miss Miller, is that you're here all by yourself. And guess what? All this discarded property in the trash that we're allowed to go through Yes, that's is all the addresses that we were just at. Yes, sir. So, this is mail. So, what were you doing with this stuff? Um we were supposed to be taking it to the eighth street. Eighth street? Where on eighth street? On State Ave. State Ave? Hey, Laura, you got more gloves on you? What? You got gloves on you? Yeah. More gloves? Oh, I got it. I I I'm going to I'm going to I'm going to you mind if I take the gloves off of him that we have one pair of gloves on right now? Say what? Oh, thanks, man. Sorry. Yes. >> mind if I take that hairband off of him or just this one around? Uh in a second, okay? Do we call that a business? No, sir. So, actually, you know what, Miss Miller? Let me have you stand up real quick and then we'll sit you back there. I apologize for the inconvenience. I need to take your sunglasses off just for a second. I know it's bright out here, but we're not quite yet. Um, my phone, I know I'm going to have to have um a number to get bonded out. >> Yeah, you can you can get your phone and go with you. I'm going to get it bonded, right? Admitting to a tiny mistake to hide a massive crime? That's manipulation 101. She tried to use this Rachel character to make herself look like the good guy. The plan was simple. Paint someone else as the villain so her own rap sheet wouldn't look quite so ugly to the officers. >> So, you were you and this girl Rachel were paid by somebody to to bring it to the house on 8th Street. >> Yes, sir. Okay, who paid you? Um, his name is Arred. Arred? Arred. Arred's like the theme of the day. So, you got Rachel, red hair, you got red hair, and red paid you to do it. I have red streaks, but yeah. Okay. All right, stand stand over a little bit. Well, I'll tell you Let me tell you something. Right now, you're the one that's caught with all this stuff. Look Look straight for me. Huh? Can you look over at the uh the coffee shop? Okay. Is there anybody over there, any of those vehicles that you see there familiar? Uh no, sir. Does that have your name on it when you open it? Take a photograph. Yeah, we'll take Yeah, go ahead and get your phone. So, what now? I'm sorry, you were saying about the mail you opened it for what now? >> Um, and then there's some more in my hoodie that hasn't been opened. >> Oh, yeah, I can see it right there. Okay. Um So, how much were you going to get paid for this stuff? Um, I was supposed to get paid $200. And then Rachel the same or she getting more? >> I don't know. Yeah, yeah. I just didn't want to take the time to go through and open all of these and be with you. It's a lot to open. I don't blame you. This is the first time I've done this. First time? Yeah. So, the problem I I believe you that you were paid to do it. Okay, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt there. The only problem is is that all the surveillance footage that we obtained in the last hour Yes, sir. from all these areas only show you, Ms. Miller. They don't show any other redhead or anybody else with you. Actually, it's also going down the road in Daytona after her. She tried to use poverty as the ultimate get-out-of-jail-free card, blurring the line between trying to survive and plain old stealing. In her head, she wasn't a thief. She was just a struggling link in a bad chain. Honey, we've all had hard times, but we don't go raiding the neighbor's mailbox. I used to be with a guy named Duke. Duke? Yes, sir. And this is my uh friend So, you're fixing to lie. Oh, this is used in This was This was used in the commission of a an incident right now. Yeah. So, yeah, no, that's My sunglasses is my my Mountain Dew is going to go with it. Yeah, you can put your sunglasses back on. >> I'm trying to be as helpful as possible. You can raise it back up because I know that it's mine. There you go. You're you're Seems like you're either unwilling or unable to give up any assistance. Well, but but that's unwilling or unable, so it could be either one. Sorry. Lighter in there? I know the lighter is right there. All right. Yellow one? Yes, sir. Right here. Okay. I'll help you down. All right, thank you. Um if you There you go. What is it we got? There's another one in here. So? Can we get the lighter in here? I guess so. All right, it's just the damn gloves. I can't get it [ __ ] child proof. Here you go. Can you Can you Can you call my dad? We'll We'll get to all that. We're very very beginning. You're going to be spending some time with us, Miss Baylor, so we'll get We'll get to all that fun stuff here in just a moment. The um that was my boyfriend's phone. That was mine. Who's your boyfriend? Huh? Who's your boyfriend? David Ortiz. I don't know him. >> [snorts] >> Is he local? He's the reason I got clean. You got clean? And why are you doing this for money and not seeking a real job? Um I've been filling out applications and I'm not going to lie, we broke. What's life so? Oh, sweet. Yeah, my dad died. >> On H, huh? What's What's your flavor, man? Meth. Um my granddad lost his life. She wove a whole web of everyday sob stories hoping to distract everyone from the fact that she was breaking the law. It's a classic move. Play the victim of circumstance and hope a little tragedy will wash away the sting of theft. I am now that I'm in jail. I thought you said he >> stepdad. >> Okay, I was going to say I thought you just said he just died. >> He's my street He's my street dad. Street dad? Yeah. What's his name? Uh John uh Whitman. What does a street dad mean? Somebody that looks out for me. He's not He's not selling you out or nothing, is he? Selling me out, what do you mean? He's not working you? I mean Tricking? Yeah. I don't trick. >> Okay. My mother told me when I was little not to do that. But if that was the case, I'd like to go after the guy that's making you do that. So, if you're saying no, I'll believe it. Is it going to be several charges or is it going to be one big charge? Probably just going to lump it into one big one. Good to hear. Depends on how many but now it'll be one one charge but there may be multiple counts. What do you mean by that? What case is it? As Yeah, bring a bring a couple. I can't remember to tell you the truth it's been so long since I've been in investigations and stuff. I can't remember what this is. Do you have an ID on you at all? I'm sorry, no. All right. Do you think that's spelled M I L L E R? Listen. No, it's C A R R. Sorry. But you think that we'll get a bond? Most likely. I'll have to look. We'll cooperate and help where I can. That's something we'll talk about later, okay? But we will have that conversation or somebody will have that conversation. But can I get out of jail? We'll see, yeah. In the end, the act fell apart. She confessed and was hauled off to jail facing 63 counts of petty theft and 63 counts of identity theft. With a mountain of charges like that, she's looking at decades behind bars and enough court fees to make your head spin. Stealing mail is one thing but turning your house into a bootleg Walmart, honestly, I'm just speechless with this mother. What was she thinking? On February 2nd, 2026, the police knocked on Rachel's door to settle the score for a string of clever thefts from weeks prior. When her overconfidence met the long arm of the law, a tense showdown unfolded. Here is the truth behind what happened. Good. Officer Piper. Oh no, you're okay. I'm Officer Peiper, just so you know our body cams are on, okay? Okay. So, uh I'm here actually, real quick. I just got to read you something, okay? I just have to let you know what your rights are, okay? Before I start asking you questions. >> Okay. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can or will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to talk to a lawyer and have him present with you while you're being questioned. If you cannot afford to hire a lawyer, one will be appointed to represent you before any questioning, if you wish. Do you understand? I mean, yeah. Okay. So, um I'm here to talk to you about some incidents that you had at Walmart a few weeks ago. What? So, they have you on camera paying for higher-priced items at a lower price. There was like different tickets on them, like different price tags. What? So, there is There's stuff like cameras, um camera film, stuff like that. So, there was at least three separate times that this occurred. >> Honestly, I don't know what you're talking about. >> You have no idea? No. Okay. Different tickets? What are you talking about? So, the price tags, it was on like It was also kids clothes. There's all sorts of different items. I'm so confused. There is usually like four to five items per transaction. It was always on non-grocery stuff. Grocery stuff, you pay full price. I mean, I feel like I pay full price for everything. I spent a ton of money at Walmart. Okay. Well, the video and the receipt shows otherwise. Just trying to save a buck? I mean, I get it. Times are hard right now. No, honestly, I don't even know what you're talking about. Well, like one of the things specifically, there's like a $75 camera that had a And it's one of those like little kids cameras, uh that had Is it motion? That had uh a sticker for like a 70-cent Starburst. She put on a look of total confusion, hoping her self-proclaimed innocence would make the hard evidence disappear. She wanted them to believe that a mother so devoted to her kids couldn't possibly be a cold, calculating scammer. Real, like what is going on? I get people make mistakes. I just got to I got to know what happened. >> honestly do not know what you're talking about. I pay full price for all my items. Like I Okay. My friend gave my daughter a camera for her birthday, but I didn't buy it. Okay. So, it's you. Okay, but I I honestly don't know what you're talking about. >> Okay. I mean, is that is that the story that we're going to go with? I'll tell you Do you want me to tell you the specific days? >> I mean, it doesn't matter >> January 9th, January 13th, January 15th. Those are the only incidents that they have found so far. I mean, I honestly I am >> Like I said, there's >> as Like I said, there's there's two sides to every story. So, I want to come over here and give you the benefit of the doubt. Right. Thank you. And try to get your side, okay? So, that's where a little bit honesty comes in, right? Right. I mean, I always have my kids with me. They're always like crazy. Yeah, I saw that. >> like I don't try I mean, that is just I don't know. I I don't have So, I'll put it this way. If it were just if it happened one time and you know, there was one item, maybe two. I'll even give you two items that were switched. You know, that was significantly less. That I could understand as a mistake. When it happened three times in a matter of a week, that's I mean, why wouldn't somebody like say something to you, like and like correct it? Like I would definitely Well, they probably didn't see it at the time. >> like I don't like I just scan and I but other than that, like I honestly Uh, I'm not perfect. I've done stupid stuff before, but I don't want to put my kids through that and I honestly don't feel like I've done anything of what you're talking about. By bringing up her children, she was fishing for sympathy, trying to make the officers feel guilty for just doing their jobs. But let's be real, her systematic stealing tells the true story. Those kids weren't her priority. They were just scapegoats for her criminal lifestyle. I've been banned from all All Walmarts? Mhm. They just told me East Peoria because I was trying to pay for my items. I left them with my cart and me and my kids went out to charge my phone cuz I was trying to scan and go. Right. And it just my phone died. So then I left them with my cart. They said I went past the threshold, which not like past the doors, but I was looking for help and hey buddy. It's okay. Mom's okay. I was just looking for >> talking to her. I was just looking for help. And then um >> they they obviously weren't like crazy about that and then the cops came and they're like we don't even feel comfortable with giving her a trespass because they looked at the cameras and I honestly didn't try to take anything. I just trying to pay for it and charge my phone. So that was the deal with that. Someone who used my name and got a theft charge and my stepdad's the ex-warden of the correctional facility in Spring River. Mhm. Um and he even had sent me the emails and whatever and it's some other girl's picture with my name on it in East Peoria. Okay. Well, the at least the one in Washington, that was you. Yeah. Yeah. And like I said, I'm not perfect. >> You were right and people make mistakes and I get that. That's all what I'm trying to What I'm trying to say is I've owned up to everything I've done. >> barred from all Walmarts. They made it seem that it was just that Walmart. >> No, all. And did you read the agreement when you signed it? >> And I even asked the cops. I I was like, "Hey, so is it just this one?" And whatever, yeah, it was just the East Peoria one, I thought. >> Yeah, no, it's on it's >> So, I shouldn't go to Walmart at all? Anywhere. In the whole US. See, honestly, that was a misunderstanding cuz I had no idea. Yeah, so I wouldn't go there. It's okay. Uh But, um I honestly I like I said, I've made mistakes in the past. >> Mhm. I, you know, stupid idea. Sure. Um just The documented facts are the worst enemy of a lie. Every new excuse she spun only made her internal rot more obvious. Once her script fell apart, that fake confidence vanished, replaced by a very real fear of the law. I mean, I go to Walmart where I get groceries, I get stuff like that, yeah. So, like sometimes 8:00 at night, 8:00, whenever you can. >> I can. >> Yeah. Um it's not like a strategic, um plan. It's just honestly when I can get out. >> Sure. Um so, it's just when I can. Okay. So. All right. Well, so you don't have anything else to say about it? I mean, honestly, I I really I don't. I just I honestly don't know where this is all coming from, and I don't I feel like I have paid a full price for all of my items. Like, I honestly don't Sure. get how this is even about. Like, I don't try to like swap out anything or whatever you're saying. Like, I don't know. That seems very tedious and very something that someone with two screaming kids probably wouldn't do, but Sure. Um I wish someone would have corrected it then, and I wouldn't be in this position. Sure. Like, I I'm really not about that, and I just I don't know. Like I said, I've made mistakes in the past, but Sure. I feel like I've kind of grown from that and learned. Right. >> You know, I don't really have a bad record. I I have that on my record, but I just like I said, I made a stupid decision and definitely don't try to make it again. Okay. Um I have to set an example for the kids, too, but Right. >> You know, I I mean, I wish I had more to tell you and I wish, you know, that this could get, you know, whatever, but I just I honestly I I can't sit here and say that I've done that. Okay. All right. Well, so you're going to get notices to appear for Okay. So, you have You're going to get charged for retail theft and for criminal trespass, okay? They both have the same court date, so you don't have to make multiple court multiple trips. So, like I said, retail theft and criminal trespass. Just don't go to Walmart again, okay? Talk is cheap when your actions tell a different story. Forcing her children to witness all that deceit isn't just a mistake. It's a betrayal. She basically forced those kids to watch and learn that lying is just a way of life. So, those are your copies. I mean, like I just don't understand how this is happening. Like I don't understand. Well, like I said, if it were one time, I'd say that that's probably a mistake. If it's several times with several items totaling like $400, that's not a that's not a mistake. >> This is crazy. Mom's okay. We're just talking. She's okay. Well, if you have anything else to add or you have, you know, any questions, feel free to give me a call, okay? I mean, there's nothing I can really add or do. I feel like I'm getting punished for something I didn't even do. I am not like a freaking criminal or whatever, but I just >> No one's calling you criminal. We're just dealing with what we got to deal with. >> Right, and I understand it's your job, but I just it sucks. I already had a charge, but I don't feel like I've done anything wrong, you know. I didn't even know you could do that. I mean to me it is I I really honestly don't do that. I don't never even heard of it before. Stuff like that doesn't happen three different times in a matter of a week with almost $400 worth of items. So it wasn't just it didn't just happen to you. This is something that you did. >> I don't do that. Like this is crazy. I don't understand how it could even happen more than once. I don't know. To the same [ __ ] person. Like this Well, like I said it wasn't a mistake. Okay. In the end she wasn't hauled off in cuffs that day, but she's still facing charges for retail theft and trespassing. If convicted, she's looking at up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine. Plus she's banned for life from every Walmart in the country and stuck with a permanent criminal record. Good luck finding a job with that hanging over your head. So long to the Walmart queen. Now let's move on to this young man who actually thinks he's the center of the universe. On July 25th, 2025, Clearwater police were met with a level of arrogance and sheer delusion that left them stunned. How did a standard investigation turn into a venomous one-sided shouting match? Y'all Both of the lamest No knickers, bruv. In the end, she was hauled off to the county jail facing charges of battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct. Down here in Florida, hitting a cop can land you 5 years in prison and a $5,000 fine, not to mention a long stint of probation and some mandatory anger management classes. That teenager might have just lost his pride, but the scammer we're about to see next, she's about to lose her freedom. On September 25th, 2025 at a TD Bank, a cold-hearted plan to snatch $16,000 from an elderly woman's account was cut short. When the security system flagged her forged checks, Andrea found herself facing an ending she didn't see coming. Here's how it all really played out. I'm sorry, I lost the hearing aid. I finally took the this side. And where do you live? Is this a better I can use these checks when I need it? Our mortgage is behind. I got a check down cash left legal so. And this was the last one I had. Um, can we have your ear, please? No. And then, have you done a 53 to 1950 before? What do you mean 1090? Like a 53. Mhm. 1950? 19 no. This is so bad. 1950. I'll stay so I can call Gabriel and let him know what's going on. If you can find You mean a 15. 1015, is that what you're talking about? Yeah, 1950 is That's 10 1015. No, it's 1915. This is people's time. Oh, okay. They shortened it. Okay. Can I call my sister here? Uh, she's She's outside? She's Oh, no, she's not. I work till one. Okay. She stays in touch with my aunt cuz my aunt is off the wall and an alcoholic and I've we He her to the hospital so many times. This has been on for like She moved here just like 40 minutes. Your sister? No, my aunt. This is my aunt. This is my aunt. >> She's only 2 years older than my sister. They're close. Got you. Right. How long have you been in Hollywood? Me? >> Yeah. I was in Hallandale first for 20 years from New Jersey. Oh, nice. What part? What part of Jersey? Hoboken. Oh, nice. I was born in Newark. Oh, I know Newark. Yeah. I'm turning 60. I'm so embarrassed that my aunt has lots. That's why I don't talk to her. Yeah, yeah. >> Otherwise, we had to find her house, do everything. And then she gave us this when she's one way. How How old is your aunt? She Let me see. My sister's 63, so she's 65. She tried to use her physical ailments and money troubles as a moral shield, hoping her supposed weakness would make the officers back off. And to make matters worse, she started dragging her aunt's name through the mud, calling her an alcoholic. It was a calculated move to make her victim look unreliable in the eyes of the law. Well, we're trying to figure out what's going on as well, see, you know? So, we're We're in that process right now, so just hang tight for a few, okay? So, How is that one? Is that one two I don't know. These are original. These ones are original? Yeah, so those are original ones. I verified with her what were original ones, and that she actually said So, that's why I'm here. Why are we here? And that's very loud. Yeah, yeah, because they think I am cash checks. My aunt has literally made these checks before, and now she's saying she didn't, so I'm stuck here. So, before I ask you some questions, I'm going to read some things to you, okay? The law requires that you be advised of these rights prior to answering any questions or making a statement. You have the right to remain silent. Do you understand that? Yes. Okay. Anything you say can be used against you in a court of law. Do you understand that? Yes. Okay. You have the right to presence of an attorney before and during any questioning. Do you understand that? Yes. Okay. So, What happened then? Um so, Miss Andrea came in um she wanted to withdraw 16,000 in cash. We didn't have that um available. So, um she said she wanted 5,000 and she'll get the rest in a cashier's check payable to uh Hold on to this. So, where did the check Which account did it go into when she first deposited it? Was it her account? Yes. So, yesterday yesterday she deposited Yeah, she's a client too. >> Okay. At this location she deposited that check? No, it was at the Sheraton location. >> Okay. So, um it was deposited yesterday. She came here today to withdraw it. Um when we went to just verify because it's available next business day. So, when I went to go verify, when I looked this account, I noticed I seen that it was negative that amount. So, that prompted me to call and verify from that check? Yes, exactly. >> did not have the actual funds not to cover the check. >> No. And did she say Even with all that acting, her own body language gave her away. She was shaking in her boots. The real nail in the coffin was the signature verification. In an instant, her excuses meant nothing, exposing her as someone perfectly willing to sacrifice her own flesh and blood just to save her own skin. What was it for? I was giving it to my brother-in-law for a mortgage um payment. Okay. So, >> He gave back That's one of your siblings? That's my niece's spouse. That's the one she tried That's your sibling's spouse? That's the one that was deposited in my sister's Yeah, your sister's husband. I'm missing hearing you. That's why there's a lot of noise in this one. I'm sorry. Yes. The money in there what he was lending us, gave us as a gift, I was giving them to pay the mortgage. She said That one you need cash. And she Well, because when I did And one minute she's yes, one minute she's no. She mostly talks to my sister that's years apart. I really don't talk to her because she's not here. Where did your aunt live? I just said Lauderdale by the Sea, Florida. Okay. So, these are the two that you deposited at some point, right? >> week, yes. I used both banks. I was going to withdraw money after a year, that's why I gave it to you. >> our concern is which is they're supposed to do their due diligence. >> Of course. I mean, this signature is completely different than this one. She's done that before. But, they don't have record of her ever doing that. Like, every check that they have from 520, 62, 730, 81, all of these signatures are consistent, but the only two that are not are you know, magically the ones that are being cashed by you. So, then then they call her and she says she never authorized you. So, you understand what predicament we're in? Of course, I don't know why. >> Because technically, yeah, you're in possession of a fraudulent check where you deposited that fraudulent check already and you're trying to use those funds from that fraudulent check. >> Yes. Question. This was this withdrawn already, too? Yes, actually. She already cashed those funds. And a cashier's check was made to a Kevin For that first one, for that first one. And then this second one she was trying to Today, yeah. Can you Once the physical evidence was on the table, she tried one last trick, claiming her aunt was unstable. But, that whole script about her erratic aunt fell apart the second the police got the poor woman on the phone. 65. So, she's an elderly person. Your aunt is 65 years old? >> Yes. My sister is only two years younger. They're closer. Okay, I'm going to just to let her know that you're calling. Yeah, that's what I want to know that she's calling. She [snorts] was in New Jersey, the house was falling apart around her. My older sister went and got her. The Hollywood Police Department are going to be calling you right now, okay? So, just pick up the phone, you might get a unknown number, but that's the Hollywood Police Department. >> Okay. >> talk to her there. Hey. >> Oh, is she fine talking? Uh would you like to talk to the police department on this phone? Um is there any way we can >> Okay, hold on one second. Yeah, yep. Come on. Hello. I'm with the Hollywood Police Department. How are you? Yeah, we can go in this office over here. Yeah, she can still hear. I can't hear. Yeah. I can't hear. I can't hear you. Yeah, we're just waiting. Just stay here. Yeah. I'm fine. I don't know whether she's going to press charges against me or not. We're trying to figure out right now. I still don't uh still only really know part I really only know part of the story, so we're just going to figure out what's going on. We'll just hang tight here for a few minutes. Huh? We'll just hang tight here for a few minutes, okay? Do you want to talk to a detective? I don't understand the detective. Okay. Do you want to speak to the detective? A detective. Do I need to? You don't need to. I don't know. Well, you're being detained. Yes. Pending a possible arrest. Do you understand that? I I do now. Do you wish to speak with a detective? Okay. So, help me. This is what happened. Am I allowed to leave with my hands free or is she pressing charges on me? Huh? Wow. It seems so. When the lies were finally stripped away, her true colors came out, and it wasn't a pretty sight. Not a single I'm sorry, not a bit of concern for her aunt's life savings. The only thing on her mind was the looming loss of her own freedom and how much this was going to inconvenience her. You you drove you drove here? Yeah. Okay. The car, I guess, next to yours. And I really want to have a cigarette. Can we ask them? Is that what it is? Because my nerves are shot. I got you. Just give it a few minutes. Come on, let's go to the car. Mhm. All right, you can take your bag off. >> need your purse. You can take your bag. Put your hands behind your back like you're praying. >> Can I hold it? No, the car keys. >> Put your hands behind your back like you're like you're praying. Excuse me. >> Like you're praying. Yep, there you go. You're going to take everything off? I want to show you the car keys here. For what? They're not responsible for your vehicle. How many can I take out? You can take them off if you take your purse. I can't leave it. Yeah, we're not going to leave your keys here. That's my car. Okay. All right. That's tight enough. I'm not going to do anything. Let me see. What car is it? It's the Subaru, right? >> Right here. This this car? Okay. My truck's over here. All right, I thought it was that. Thanks for letting me know. There's if I'll let you have one before we go. Well, they're in the car. Okay. The SUV, the truck right here. Just watch your step. On this side. Are the cuffs too tight? Are they Are they >> No, I have arthritis in my shoulder, so it Okay, you want me to I could double I could do two cuffs for you. Hold on. All right, I'm going to take this bracelet off, okay? Is it a clasp? Huh? It's a It's a clasp, right? Yeah. This too. No, that's all right. We have Up or down? Yeah, up or down? >> have pulled it down. The other one's open. There you go. Yeah, now pull. In the end, she was hauled off to jail on a long list of charges, grand theft from a person 65 or older, exploitation [music] of the elderly, uttering a forged instrument, and passing bad checks. All told, she's looking at up to 40 years behind bars and a $30,000 fine. Watching a scam backfire is one thing, but wait until you see this next teenager. He basically gift-wrapped himself for the police. On September 12th, 2025, a woman with a perfectly polished look turned a local bank into a stage for a high-stakes forgery. But, when that glitz failed to hide the graft, the police were already quietly closing the net. Here's how the drama really unfolded. Hello, welcome to the bank. How are you? Hi. Good morning. Good. Good. Hi. Hi. Hi. How are you? Good. So, these are the check. And then, this is the ID. And she's here sitting on Okay. All right, can you stand up for me real quick for me? Turn around and face the back real quick. Um, for what? Just going to be detained right now for the forgery, all right? Nothing to say? I don't know. Okay. Once I let me just I don't want to detain you for a second. What happened to the money then? What money? I'm just going to move this so it doesn't bother you, all right? >> Okay. All right, let me put you in the back of my car and then I'll talk to you in a second, all right? Okay. Okay. All right, if you have anything on sharp or anything like that, right now. It's my money, you guys. I know, I just got to My bad. No, you're No, I didn't know you guys were doing your job. No, I know. Um, wait, I've never been behind a cop car, so like, how do I Just sit down, and then we'll probably let you go. All right. Being that unusually polite while you're being detained, that's the mark of a practiced hand. She was banking on her model citizen image to make the officers second-guess their own evidence. She tried to use her manners as a shield, hoping a little kindness would help her skip out on the consequences. Okay. Where is he? Um I honestly don't know. He told me Well, he he was coming back to pick you up, so where is he? Right, I don't know where he is. He's supposed to be coming back. Who is it? What's his name? Um I only know him as Alfredo. You know Alfredo? Where's he from? Miami. Miami? What kind of car does he drive? Um and right now he's in a Genesis, a white Genesis. A white Genesis? Okay. Um I'm sorry. I know I probably can't, but can I call my mom? You can't call anybody right now. Okay. Sir, that's for you. Okay. Thank you. Um now I just need somebody to fill out this one statement. >> Yes, I will do it. >> Can I Can I have your ID as well, please? >> Sure. Thank you. I have my ID. I'm just going to read you your rights real quick before I uh try to talk to you. Um you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed to you through the court. Do you understand those rights? Okay. Do you wish to talk to me? I've never been I don't know what I'm supposed to do in this situation. Okay. Well, >> I'm sorry. Okay. Well, I mean, as of right now, that's fake check. Okay. All right. Um Okay. Do you think you could just like pull my hair behind my ear? I don't mean to like Yeah, it's like annoying me. I'm sorry. Thank you. Okay. Thank you. So, do you um So, it's a fake check. Obviously, you were brought here, I guess, to cash the check, but the check's made out to your name. Um Who Who is the guy that you know again that dropped you off? Uh I don't really know his name name, but I know him as Fredo. Fredo? The second those handcuffs felt real, her so-called loyalty went right out the window, replaced by pure selfishness. She didn't hesitate to throw everyone else under the bus, turning her partners in crime into scapegoats just to try and shave some time off her own sentence. But um whatever he told me I was going to get left stranded, so Does he have anyone else working for him today? Um not going into banks, but there's like another person driving. So, there's two drivers? No, so he's also walking into banks. We have He has a driver. And then they're just He's also walking into banks as well? And you don't know his name, just as Fredo? No, I I Well, I saw one of the checks. I think it's like Julian or Juan or something. It's with a J. I just can't I couldn't >> Julian, you said? I believe it's Julian. Okay. And last name? I don't know. Got it. Okay. I I I don't know. One of like one of the names was like Okay. All right. We will um We'll figure this out. All right. He's going to talk to you in a few minutes, okay? You have anything else you want to tell me? Um You from Hialeah? Okay. All right, give me a few minutes. Am I going to like go to jail? You're getting arrested today, yeah. There's no way out of that one. I've never been arrested before. I understand. >> I'm just like It's fine. I'll be right back. I still get that or that's a withdrawal out of here. No, thanks. So, if I could say this is from the earlier, different lines, different the same kind. Okay. Every lie she spun just crumbled when it hit the bank's records and those cold, hard numbers. While she was busy playing the innocent bystander out by the squad car, the paperwork was painting a much darker picture of a professional scammer. >> So, this is the one that alerted us, of course, and then I quickly remember the ID, the face. Once she walked in, I realized it. >> So, they sent you they they sent you >> yes. This is what uh the manager from Air Park sent you. >> Correct. Okay. And then once you saw her come in here, you recognized the name and the face on the ID. >> face actually, not the name. This face I recognized it. >> You remember the face from the ID uh the email and then obviously once you got the ID, you kind of were like, "Oh, this is the same person." >> Correct. And then I review the account and this check number is already been used. And then this check feel like it not it's real. Plus, customer don't use this check type. So, no deposit.
