HEY, >> I didn't DO NOTHING. I DIDN'T DO NOTHING. I SWEAR TO GOD. >> You not YOU NOT YOU AIN'T [ __ ] You not >> Some brats grow up never hearing the word stop until the body cam clicks on and the steel door finally slams shut. >> I'm going TO TELL MY DADDY TO KILL YOU, BRO. DON'T SAY THAT. cocky attitude, lies, screaming, even trying to swallow the evidence. Every illusion of power shatters in a few cold seconds. If one impulsive moment can wreck an entire life, can you really look away from stories like these? On October 3rd, 2025, while working a hit-and-run investigation, officers suddenly noticed a Mustang punching the gas in a way that didn't look normal. Even after they signaled the driver to stop, she took off anyway. But once the car was finally identified and they made contact, what happened next flipped every early assumption on its head. >> Do you guys know whose white Mustang this is? >> Uh, tell her to come out. >> Yeah. Can you have him step out? >> Hello. >> Hi. >> Do I look familiar? >> Kind of. >> Yeah, I know. [clears throat] >> Turn around. Put your hands behind your back. >> You're under us for fleeing and ling law enforcement. white camera. >> What? >> I walked out, flied you down, told you to stop, and you rapidly accelerated away from me. >> What? >> Yes, ma'am. >> It's all on body cam. >> You just >> Nope. I w I walked out of the road and was telling you to stop. >> You walked out on the road. You >> correct? And I was telling you to stop. It's all on body cam. You're under arrest for fleeing and looting law enforcement. >> Come here. >> Can I just call her mom? >> Yeah, you call her. Mom is on her phone right there. I am a law enforcement officer fully uniformed telling you to stop because you're passing all those cars in a double yellow one. You No, you passed multiple. >> It doesn't matter. You still fled law enforcement >> and then you rapidly accelerated as you went by me. You didn't stop, didn't do anything. Didn't even hit the brakes. >> No, I was going to speed limit. >> No, you weren't. >> Can I talk to someone else? >> It was just me there. I don't know who you want. Go ahead, sit down for me. Do you have anything on you? Cuz I have a female that's going to come search you. >> No. >> Okay. >> Um >> Huh? >> Oh, yeah. Yeah. So, yeah. No, I literally was I hear her car accelerating rapidly. So I look and she's in the middle of passing vehicles coming back over. I'm in the road, hands up, telling her to stop. Clearly look like a law enforcement officer. No breaks, no no lights, nothing. She just keeps going, guns it. So okay, that's fleeing and looting all day long. >> So >> can we go to court for this? >> Absolutely. You're going to be going to court no matter what. >> And you said you have it on dash cam? >> I have it on body cam. >> Okay. >> Even better, cuz I was right there. Oh, okay. >> So, what's your name? >> This is the most ridiculous thing ever. I mean, once you're done, >> I know. I agree. Fleeing law enforcement is pretty ridiculous. >> I absolutely agree. And I'm also I'm also towing your car and putting on a 30-day hold. So, >> honestly, if I didn't know ahead of time, I would have thought he was security, like the guy who stands watch at the gate in a neighborhood. The uniform was a little hard to clock, but this isn't about mocking anyone or not respecting the law. It's about misreading what you're seeing and then reacting on instinct. The way she handled it tells you everything. >> They're arresting me for fleeing and a looting. I passed in a double line and then an officer came I said I'm getting arrested because an officer said I was fleeing and looting. I was driving on. He came out and ran in front of like he he half ran in front of my like he didn't even fully run in front of my car and then um now I'm getting arrested for it because I parked in because he said I was fleeing but he wasn't even behind me with lights on or anything. >> Doesn't matter. Don't need to be I absolutely don't need to have like sirens activated. I'm a fully uniformed law enforcement officer telling you to stop. >> Literally I'm in the middle of the road. I'm a fully uniformed police officer telling her to stop. Not only does she not even apply the brakes, she rapidly accelerates away from from me to the point I have to run, get jump in my car, which was parked several hundred feet away cuz I was investigating a hit and run crash and now all of a sudden she's gone nowhere. So then I obviously find the car and make contact with her. So I don't need to have lights and sirens on behind or anything like that. I'm a fully uniform police officer. I was given clear hand signals to stop. And I have a witness who was the victim of my hidden run crash who watched the entire thing. So, you know, of course that meets statute requirements for for fleeing and looting. I I I don't mean to be a jerk about or anything like that, but that's that's where we're at. Okay. >> Um, how far does she go from when you try to uh gesture her to stop? >> Over a mile. So, she didn't try to pull off the road down the street, nothing like that. Did she Did she Was she able to see you or >> Oh, yeah. I am I am in a I am in a She just told me I saw him in my uniform. Didn't So, that's all I need. >> Okay. Um, can you put her back on the phone? >> Yeah, you're on speaker. >> Okay. >> All right. So, you you'll probably be in in in jail for the weekend then. >> Yeah. Go ahead. Because uh you're not going to get get out right away. Why were you going that fast down? >> I passed one car. I passed one car cuz he was going like 30 and I passed him. >> My daughter's phone. >> So why didn't you pull over at the time when he waved you down to stop? Why didn't you stop? >> Cuz it wasn't like he was I I didn't I really didn't even know. No, I just saw a person in white and black and then >> doing this. >> He had one hand out and it wasn't like he was in front of my car like that. He was just he like literally was from the side like completely the side. I wasn't going 60. That's a hearsay. >> She might have actually stopped if the officer was on a motorcycle or in a marked cruiser with lights and sirens that were impossible to miss. A young woman like her probably hasn't had many run-ins with police. Maybe she's never even paid attention to what the uniform looks like. At high speed, a person standing in the road waving can feel confused at best and scary at worst. >> Over and found my car and pulled. >> It's all on body cam. Sir, I was almost in the roadway. The reason I didn't go all the way in the roadway is cuz she was going so fast. I didn't want to get hit by her cuz obviously I could see that she was not slowing down. >> Just a what he thinks. >> Okay. >> I'm actually an instructor for speed measurement. So smart. >> I'm not laughing. >> I wouldn't be laughing. It's a felony. You committed a felony. Don't laugh at that. >> Yeah. I mean, you you're being cocky. You're not even being polite. You're not even using manners. >> Yeah. This has been her the entire time, sir. >> I know. That's what I don't get with her. It's just total ridiculous. So, you you don't understand what you just did. >> I do. >> Oh, you do? Do you really? Like, how how do you understand what you're doing? Cuz you're being a smartass the whole time to me, too. So, I can only imagine how you're speaking to an officer. >> That's all. It's all on body cam. I've been trying to be respectful to her, but >> Right. I don't get it. Like, so you just totally just screwed yourself inside and out for what you just did big time cuz now your car's got to get towed to the impound. You got to pay to get that out, too. Now, >> there's going to be a 30-day hold on it. There's going to be a 30-day hold on it. Go ahead. >> To the officer. Normally, when you did it, you had to be a real jerk, didn't you? >> I know [ __ ] He's got the body cam on. So, you just totally screwed your whole [ __ ] up. Nursing degree, everything. You just did it because you you're being invincible. But guess what? You're going to spend the weekend in jail and you'll see how invincible you are. You know what? It might teach you a lesson now. Maybe, you know, cuz you just don't listen. >> Did you hear that? Yes, sir. All right. So, when you get to jail, you get one phone call. >> Just follow her instructions. >> So, you better who you figure out who you going to call, you know, to to get you out of jail. >> So, when you call your mom and start bitching at her and stuff, she going to make you sit. You call me, I'll make you ass sit, too, because I'm not putting up with this [ __ ] You know, you you you got an attitude. It's got to change. >> I got to change. It's ridiculous. So, this might be your game changer. >> But her dad's words hit the real issue dead on. He didn't waste time arguing little details. He went straight to cause and effect and what your attitude says about your character. And you can tell this wasn't the first time he's had to say it. The firmness in his voice says she's been stubborn for a while. And this time, he wanted her to truly learn from the consequences. >> Should I put my shoes back on or just >> Do you want it back on? >> If that's what I'm saying. If your mom can bail you out now or otherwise otherwise you will sit there until Monday. >> I got to calculate it but >> it'll probably be like 2500. >> Okay. >> Do you have an older brother? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> So I know him very well. Yep. >> He's in what? The Air Force. >> Did you go to high school? >> Yeah. I'll just have a problem. I'm going let her talk to you. I'm getting arrested because I fle an officer. Um uh she's going to need somebody to post anything else in the other jewelry% of probably 2500. >> Okay. >> Have you ever been arrested before for anything? >> All right. Thank you. Okay. All right. Bye, Mom. It's not fun. Be prepared. Be strict sharks. What strip shirts you have to take everything off and you bend over. >> And now that you know that, if you do have anything on you and you introduce it into the branch bail, it's a felony. Okay. >> All right. Just >> Oh, yeah. >> I I tell everybody I arrest them. >> No, it shouldn't take that long. I mean, I know how Jenkins is, though. He's He's going to want me to transport my own arrest. >> So, >> yeah. Sorry. >> It's all on body cam 2 on the previous signal three. So it's like >> or did I just phone? >> That's mine. >> This is mine. >> Oh, he already has your phone or >> Yeah, we we already have it cuz she wanted to take that. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> All right. Good. Just go ahead and put your hands like this together. Up out front. There you go. Just a little bit further out. >> You're good. >> I'm being very nice. >> Behind you. Go ahead and pop these off. >> I mean, I don't think it would be too big of an issue. >> I'm double locking it. That way they don't switch down your real. >> We're going to go to his vehicle right here. Okay. >> The moment she stopped pushing back, you could feel everything settle down. The officers responded with that soft but only if you cooperate approach. Enough to keep control without cranking up the tension. Once she realized she wasn't in charge, her tone cleaned up fast. polite, asking permission, following directions. And once she's in the patrol car, you start to understand her a whole lot more. >> Um, >> do you have enough AC? >> Oh, yeah. It's cold back. >> What's your name? >> My name is Officer Got. >> Nice to meet you. I'm not really good. How long have you been a police officer? >> Uh, a little of almost 11 years. >> Oh, wow. >> Do you like it? >> Oh, I absolutely love it. >> I mean, if I didn't like it, I wouldn't be I wouldn't be doing it for 11 years. >> How long do you think I'll be there for? >> Well, it depends. I'm pretty sure that it's a uh thirdderee felony, so you'll have a bond. >> So, a couple hours, then you'll be able to bond out. >> Okay. What's >> [music] >> up, Cam? >> Hey, C. Go ahead and step out. We're going to go on the right side of this car. >> Just hang tight. I'm just going to drive you over here. >> What? >> Yeah. She literally admitted to the entire thing. Like I I've known the family for for a long time. I played football with her older brother. >> Yep. I know your dad. I know your brother. I very well. Did you play baseball or like football with him? >> I played football with for a long time. >> Yeah, >> I follow him on Facebook. >> If the crime that I'm charging you with wasn't a felony, >> I could have just wrote you a ticket and be done with it. But unfortunately, it's a felony no matter what. I have to make a physical arrest. >> You have like zero criminal history, right? >> Yeah. I mean, one time I shoplifted when I was 16, but I don't think it's on there. >> Did they charge you with anything or no? >> No. Can this get expuned or anything? I >> mean, potentially if you have no criminal history or anything like that. >> Yeah. >> You know, they they might work with you. >> Do you want the windows up like that or down like that or you want >> like that? >> In the end, she was taken to jail and had to face charges for fleeing and attempting to elude law enforcement, plus ignoring posted signs and a no passing zone. bond was set at $2,500 along with a $166 fine, and she could be looking at a 30-day vehicle empoundment, a driver's license suspension for up to 6 months, and a mark on a record that doesn't just go away. A father's voice was enough to make one girl pause, but for the other one, all it took was the sound of a lock, and every last illusion came crashing down. Police got involved after an 18-year-old ended up in the hospital with his face slashed during a conflict, an injury that left permanent disfigurement. As they gathered statements and talked to witnesses, they quickly zeroed in on Bailey and brought her in for questioning. But what happened next was nowhere near as straightforward as you'd expect. You >> not here? >> Can you please go upstairs and check? >> I have a check, too. problem. >> Whatever. >> Uh, I'll wait till we get a little further here. >> Your son's not in trouble. >> Yeah. >> Oh, she's been in problem, you know. >> So, Bailey, right, your girlfriend? >> Yeah. >> You know what Bailey did today? >> Not the full story. >> You just picked her up randomly and >> I was told that she needed a ride and was urgent. >> Okay. So, can you show can you tell me cuz I could show you my phone and what she said to me within the 48 hours. >> So, Bailey stabbed somebody today >> and the kid is in the hospital. Um, which is now why we sounded you, found your truck, found Kane here and here we are. >> Hey, how's it going today? Good. >> Is it Bailey? Yes, sir. >> All right. How's it going today? >> Good. >> All right. So, here to talk to you about what happened this afternoon. Yeah. >> You want to give me your side of things? >> So, I a party tonight, but her and her boyfriend were fighting and she pulled or his wife her boyfriend pulled out and he was they were arguing back and forth and then it got physical between her. So, I decided to weed and get out of there. And then by that time, he was weeding at the front door while I was trying to get my stuff out. And I'm not sure how that went down, but I decided to get out. >> So, they were fighting. >> Yeah. >> They were She was talking about breaking up with him and stuff. >> Yeah. And he got like all defensive and started putting his hands on her. I don't know what happened from there besides when he showed up to the door bleeding cuz I went inside at that point. >> Okay. >> But >> uh would you mind giving a written statement? >> What's this about? >> Um well so there was an incident um that you're telling me they were fighting and he's at the hospital now. And so I'm trying to piece all the pieces together. I haven't made it to the hospital yet so I don't have his side of things. Um, I just spoke with your boyfriend, Nick. >> At first glance, she's strangely calm, neat, put together, way cleaner than the allegations would make you picture. Even with something this serious hanging over her head, she stays polite, steady, almost trying to keep the room normal. But the second the officer brings up a deep cut and surgery, you can literally feel the switch flip. Her mind snaps into self-p protection mode. >> What's the involvement with with Bailey and you guys? So, she was there. Um, he has a significant laceration across his face. >> Um, and he is right now under surgery >> um, involving it. We we'll cut back to a little more of a chase. Here is >> nothing like that happens. >> You don't carry a little knife? >> No, I do not. >> You're free to search my room, search any of my things. I don't have any sort of weapons. >> Be honest here. So, right now I'm sitting here trying to debate whether I'm going to be arresting you right now. >> Yes, you um I have multiple people saying that you had a a knife or some sort of blade and that you cut him. >> Can I ask you please? >> I could tell you all that in a little bit. I'm trying to want to make sure you're very clear on your side of what you're telling me because it is >> this is a very serious thing. um you know his his laceration is he's lowering surgery right now and so depending on how things go will then depend on whether I we release here without charging or then press or have charges ready. All right. >> Yeah. >> Sorry. Just so you know. All right. At this point, you're being arrested. Okay? I'm not going to handcuff you. I don't think we need to go that far with it. All right? So, we're just going to sit here and be chill with it. All right? Um, if you have any questions, feel free to ask. Um, but we'll go from here. Okay. >> She's clearly in full defense. Flatout denial, no wiggle room. That makes her story fragile. The moment any hard evidence shows up that doesn't match, the officers use a kind of conditional compassion. They take her to the station without cuffs, leaving her the feeling there's still room to negotiate. And once someone thinks there's a way out, they usually talk more, trying to talk their way out of the corner they're in. >> At the house again. >> Yeah. So, you want to start from when we were going to leave the party or >> you told me to start when uh like why are you going to this party without me? Cuz he's supposed to be trolling like that. will tell her what and what not to wear. Won't let her go out and live her life. So, I was just kind of loser, right? And then he gets out of the car and starts like putting his hands on her shoulders and like shaking her being like, "What's wrong with you?" So, I'm backing up cuz I don't know what's about to happen. I don't know. Cuz he was making threats on the phone before spam. He was like, "I'm going to show up and I'm going to pull up and show you what crazy it is." He started calling me crazy, saying that just really messed up things about my person. >> Can't do anything if we're not on the same page. Okay. So, if you think you're going to hide something and I don't know, >> absolutely not. >> I just want to know. Hey, I was I've been with you from the start, right? >> Yes. So, I have to be a lawyer now because everything [clears throat] I'm telling you is truth and I don't >> if that's the case, I'll be able to pull that ring door footage. >> Okay. >> And if that's, you know, so I just want to make sure that we're on the same page. >> So, we're just waiting on ring door footage. >> We're going to figure it out right now. Okay. >> All right. So, I got a lot more of my story kind of together here. Okay. Um, and I'm I'm going to give a little opportunity here before I call the state. Okay. Um, you're young and this is a very serious thing. Okay? So, I need you to really take a second before you answer me. All right. >> People telling the truth tend to stay anchored to a timeline and physical details. Who was where? What happened first? What they saw? What they touched? People in heavy self-defense spin around fairness, being wronged, and feeling betrayed. Here, she's already sensing the consequences, like she knows things crossed a line. And once that line gets crossed, impulsive decisions get a whole lot more likely. >> There's camera footage from the neighbors. >> All right. >> So, I don't know what footage you saw on the neighbors. I don't know what footage you saw at their house, but everything that I'm telling you is the truth. It's solid. >> So why would everybody else randomly say >> I have no idea what the actually happened out there? Because I was the only one because I don't know how I could have any connection to it. I left. I did my part. I went home. The most I did was scream at the dude for acting childish and saying that is so horrible and out of pocket. Like, why would he have said that to somebody that he loved? [clears throat] >> Regardless, why would he have said that to me when I didn't even know the kid? That's what I'm trying to point out here. He had no reason and I didn't even know him. And me, I don't need a reason. I am a human being just as they are. I'm not going to go out of my way to hurt them because they said something mean. I've been through my fair share of bullying. I've been through my fair share of with other people. doesn't mean I have to go and hurt them that in the first place because of all the I have planned for my future myself. There is no [ __ ] reason why I would have thrown that all away over some kid I did not arguments with your boyfriend. Like I just got home. I was home for 30 minutes. Not even like I was already going through bull before that. And even during I was keeping up with my grades. I was going to school. I was still putting in work. This is the same kid who deals drugs, who makes fun of people for getting, and who likes to talk about people and their mental issues like it's some sort of joke. Like, I don't know what else I can tell you. >> When your future feels threatened, truth often slides to second place. That alone doesn't convict her, but it does expose the priority, avoiding the criminal label. So, a different story starts getting built. She tries on the victim role while quietly stripping the other person's dignity because it makes the weight of responsibility feel lighter and the outcome seem more explainable. >> All of them before you send me to prison. I am 18. I just turned 18. I am about to get out of high school. Why the You do not need to ruin my life because you had some statements. You need to do more research before you throw me under the bus completely. >> I'm sitting here. Listen, I got the other people in the other room. I didn't think I'd go back and forth. >> Well, then what? Wait, who? >> Okay, I I'm not sitting here trying to marry your life. I understand you literally just turned >> 18 last month. >> They're lying through their teeth. >> So, over nothing. >> Explain to me why someone would lie. What mean they >> to cover their up? >> What would they have to cover up? Whatever happened outside that I didn't know happened that I wasn't involved in? Like, is that really so hard to believe that some people did some trying to blame it on the one we friend? This is what happens to me every single time. I'm always the first one left out. I'm always the first one talking about the only [ __ ] person I have left. >> That you never said you're you're show him. Show him what's up. No, he said he called me crazy. He said you're so crazy. Now I want to show you what's crazy. >> And I understand, like I said, either me, you were intimidated. That's why I'm asking is that >> he was upset for no reason. I was sitting there trying not to ball my eyes out because I was sitting there trying not to ball mying eyes out. There is absolutely no way I could have walked up to him and faced him and cut him up. What the? There is no way I could have done that in the state that I was. Go ask. >> What could have happened >> between them? >> Yeah. >> Either or. Or he went crazy himself was on her when they were in their argument and then hurt himself either falling, stumbling, scraping himself on anything that was out there. And if it wasn't that, then it was him just being crazy and actually cutting himself off trying to get attention from her because he was on that right before he showed up to the house. He was saying, "If you leave me, if you go to this party, we're over and I'm done. I'm offing myself." Like, I can only live with you. You're the only one I love that. So like anything that he has the that dude should be in a [ __ ] mental hospital at this point but he wants to pin it on me. There's no soliding proof that I did any of that besides word of mouth. That's it. >> Two you would you feel confident in saying that you could truly see a place where he did it yourself? >> Oh yes 100%. By the end of the interview, she still never admits to anything, even though the evidence is stacking up against her. Now she's facing two felony charges. Aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury and assault with a deadly weapon. If convicted, she could be looking at years in prison or probation with long-term supervision. Restitution for medical costs and a permanent record that can follow her into school, work, and even firearm rights. On top of that, she was denied bond ahead of trial due to the dangerous nature of the incident. One person collapses because there's no exit left. The other collapses because the whole neighborhood has already seen who they really are. On November 2nd, 2025, police were dispatched to an apartment complex after a neighbor dispute call, reporting someone pounding on doors and causing a disturbance. When officers arrived, it quickly became clear this was anything but a simple neighbor issue. >> Is upstairs this one? Is this 47? >> So, you want to talk to her? >> Yes, please. >> I'll go. >> I'll go upstairs. We got off here. >> Police department. >> Police department. >> Hi. >> Hi. I'm Officer Hunter with the Agon Police. >> Yeah. >> You guys having some neighbor trouble? Uh, somebody speak Spanish. >> Okay. >> Can we step in so we're out of shot at them? Is that okay? >> I have cats. >> That's all right. >> That's fine. >> All right. >> Is she getting arrested for stepping in here? >> Do you want to prosecute each other? >> I do. Cuz we had problems with them months before. They threw water on us for smoking outside our first day staying here. We didn't know that they had kids. First thing they do is throw water on us. So, we went and made a police report. There's already a police report about that. Okay. Do you guys have IDs? >> I do. >> Is that just it? >> Did she I tell her to stop threating? I said, "I have my daughter in here. Do not enter in here cuz we grabbed a knife and I you have in there." >> And she said, "I don't care." She said, "Anyone can get hurt." I mean, I'm pretty sure it's all on video. >> Okay. Cuz I see Yeah, you got that one camera right there by that tree. >> Okay. But does that cover does this cover this area at all? >> Yeah, it might. It might cover the part. >> Is that dry deep? >> Oh, wait. That's my home picture. when she was started banging because we're really kissing and then we just >> It only records it for 30 seconds if there's emotion. So sometimes it won't continue take it down or you want >> this is like our second month. >> Second month. >> Oh, you guys just moved >> and Yeah. And she was threatening us the second night we were here. >> Now I want to press charges. She forced her way into our our home >> and she our our our handle is loose now. She literally was shaking us so I have it on video. She was banging, kicking, >> and her daughter's under a blanket hiding right now because she's >> in neighbor disputes. Whoever frames the story around child safety usually gets more attention. A front door is a sensitive line. Push it even a little and everything can change fast. Once people start seeing themselves as the suspect, many lock into a rockolid certainty they're right, but refuse to look around and recognize the actual risk they're creating. kept on trying to say something because the kids are running around. >> Okay. >> So, I went and knocked on their door. >> Mhm. >> And I asked them, "Okay, so why you knocking on my door?" >> Mhm. >> They don't want to say nothing, but I left. I didn't do nothing. >> Yeah. No one's saying you did, but we got a call, so we got to talk. >> Nothing. I left without such a >> Nothing else happened? >> No. >> Okay. So, then why are we here? >> Cuz they called you. >> Okay. How long have you guys been having beef with your neighbors? Um, well, we did have an altercation before like when they move first moved here, >> but the cops already came for that. >> Okay. >> Um, because it was uh cuz they're they were smoking. >> Just going to have want to talk to you. >> What's wrong? You you Okay. Okay. So, >> nothing. I remember you >> from what? >> From the last time you arrested me. >> For what did I arrest you for? >> Battery. >> Oh, battery. Okay. Where was this at? down the street. >> Wait a minute. That wasn't him. That's another one that looks like him. >> No. >> No. I I swear to God, we have an officer who looks just like him. >> Yeah. I was gonna say I'm pretty good at remembering faces. I don't think I've ever met you before. >> We're not lying to you. There's another officer at our agency that him and I look really alike. >> Jereli, tell me what happened tonight. >> No, we're speaking English. Okay. >> Okay. >> Tell me what happened. >> Okay. So, my kids are running around the house and they had a problem. >> Who had a problem? >> The guys from downstairs. >> Okay. Was this today? >> Yes, today. >> Okay. >> And they came and banged on the door. >> Okay. >> At first they were banging like with something on the wall on the roof. They were banging on them first and then they came and they banged on the door. >> Okay. Did you physically see them? >> No. >> Okay. So, then how do you know if it's them? >> Cuz I know it's them. because nobody else ever came. >> Okay. So, just to reiterate that, you said that they were banging on the the floor >> and then they came up and banged on the door. >> Yeah. >> But you did not see them do it, but you know it's them. >> I know it's them. >> Okay. I don't know how you can know it's somebody if you don't have physical eyes on them. Are you just basing that off of prior issues with these people? >> No, because off the banging on the f on the floor first. >> Okay. Then the banging on the door, I know it's there. >> Okay. >> Once the mind labels a neighbor as the enemy, every sound and movement gets interpreted as an attack. No proof needed. Feeling disrespected becomes justification enough. She chose a power struggle because for an aggressive personality, arguing facts is far less satisfying than fighting for dominance. >> I told you I know who it was. >> Okay. I just want you to understand. >> No, I want you to understand. I know who it was. >> Okay. But if you didn't see them, then I don't know how you can verify. >> I don't care if I didn't see them. >> I'm telling you, I knew who it was. >> Okay. >> All right. >> All right. So then what happened after that? >> All right. Nothing. That's when I went downstairs, knocked on their door, and that's when they called you. >> Okay. Did you make entry to their apartment? >> No. >> Okay. Then why would there be two of them telling me that you did? >> I didn't go into their apartment. >> Okay. So if there's video footage that shows you entering their apartment, that's that's >> Well, go check. >> I have it. >> Okay. Go check. >> That's why I'm asking you. >> Go check then. I didn't go into their apartment. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> So then what what was what was the the the plan for going down there and beating on their door? >> I was trying to beat her ass. >> Why were you trying to beat her up? >> I'm not from here. I hope you know I'm from New York. I'm not from here. >> That What started the argument? >> Today we didn't do anything at all. She's saying that we banged on the door this morning. She's saying it was her and I don't know. We I don't Yeah, we didn't do that at all. >> They hate us. They really do have a problem. Every day we come home, there's not >> Can you make sure you keep your hands out of your pocket, the police? >> Yeah. >> I'm going to give those back to you guys. >> Oh, thank you. >> They have two kids. They're stopping constantly. We made a report about it, but >> we don't hear anything. >> We're not going up there saying anything cuz we do. >> We understand they're kids. They're going to run around. They're going to stop. Whatever. We left it as it is. The landlord said something. What more are we going to do about it? Nothing. >> Like, so you guys had you opened the door, right? I'm just trying to clear cuz I know you guys you were talking about partners. You guys opened the door. You guys had a conversation. No, the first time he opened the door, that's when she >> she automatically >> pushed open the door and was like, "Where's that [ __ ] at?" >> Oh, so it went straight to straight up aggressively. That's why I was like, "Go get my phone cuz record this and call the police cuz I'm >> And that's why I'm if I have to defend myself, I'm going to not deal." >> What stands out is how her priorities shift. Truth stops mattering. Winning does. The moment she admits intent to assault, she crosses the line from a mom being harassed to an active threat. That's a dangerous gamble. Sooner or later, she's bound to meet a neighbor who's willing to play by the same rules. >> Moved in two months ago. >> Okay. >> So, these are the videos. >> Okay. >> She's trying to enter the court still right now. >> Hey, I'm going to Hey, get the [ __ ] >> Yeah. I hear you. >> Break this down. >> So, it's not home invasion because she didn't technically break a lock. So, it's like criminal trespass to residents. So, I'm going to go back and ask him if he was hit by the door or if there was any complaints of injury. They said they want to prosecute charges. >> Okay. She did the same thing with us um when she got into like a physical fight, I think, with a previous tenants for the house. So, >> you asked her good questions as far as like when she's like, I know it was them. I know it was them. I mean, plausible deniability. Like, >> yeah. >> How do you know if you didn't physically have eyes on her? All right, let me go try and get that. You both of you were stating that she crossed the threshold into your house. Mhm. >> Okay. So, that's criminal trespass to residents. Okay. At bare minimum, we're going to have disorderly conduct. What else did she make in in terms of if any threat to you? >> My daughter's here right now. Leave. >> I don't give a >> You know that's not true. You baldheaded. >> Excuse me. >> That's not true. >> Not true. What? >> Said what you said right now. >> That's not true. I was letting him know what they told me. >> Yeah. Well, it's not true. >> Okay. Well, guess what? >> Well, guess what? >> You You'll figure that out later. >> Okay. Put your phone down, please, and stand up. >> Or what? >> Because you're being arrested. >> I'm being arrested. >> You're being arrested? >> For what? >> You're being arrested for battery, disorderly conduct, and criminal trespass to residents. >> I live here. What the [ __ ] do you mean? >> You You entered their their residence. Okay. Well, they have two witnesses. Those two >> answer it. >> That's okay. As of right now, I have enough probable cause to arrest. >> Show me a video where I enter. >> Stand up. >> When she realizes her freedom might be on the line, she throws everything she thinks gives her leverage. Nitpicking procedure to stall for time. The problem is, the more you resist during detention, the clearer your behavior gets on record. What she ends up creating isn't a legal gray area. It's more evidence. >> The way I answered it is, >> don't fight. There'll be a video where you see fighting with us. HEY, STOP. WHAT THE WHY YOU LIKE THAT? Get out. Hey. Hey. How the [ __ ] >> You going TO KNOCK IT OFF? >> BACK UP. >> You going to knock it off? >> All right. >> You going to knock it off? >> Okay. Are you done? >> Yeah. >> I'm not playing anymore. Give me your >> Stop. >> Okay. You don't have to keep on fighting. >> You're that You're that we don't want the kid seeing this. We don't want him seeing this. No, but you're doing it in front of my kids. YOU [crying] >> HEY, take it easy. >> Okay. Take it easy. WHAT' YOU JUST SAY TO MY MOM? >> THANK YOU. COME ON. LET'S GO. >> WHAT' YOU JUST SAY, YOU BALDHEADED ASS MOTHER? Get that fat. Hey, >> get down faster, you dumb. >> Walk faster. Why am I saying [ __ ] pace? >> You probably along with ICE, huh? >> We don't work with ICE. >> Oh, we don't work with ICE. >> You probably don't. Huh? >> We're not legally allowed to. >> Well, guess what? Well, guess what? I You can't deport me cuz I'm >> We're not We're not in >> I'm illegal. In the end, the woman was arrested and charged with assault, disorderly conduct, and criminal trespass. If convicted, she could face up to 2 years in jail, fines totaling as much as $6,500, along with probation, court costs, restitution for damages, and mandatory anger management classes. One person gets exposed to the whole neighborhood. The other gets exposed by the system, one simple swipe at a time. On June 4th, 2024, police responded after a business reported a couple suspected of using [music] a stolen payment card. The transaction was declined and the card's owner had already reported a missing wallet, then saw an alert that the card had just been tested at that exact location. What officers uncovered during the quick verification brought out a lot more than anyone expected. >> You got your ID with you? >> Yeah. What's going on? >> Well, we have a problem with a credit card inside, I guess. Huh? Uh, I didn't even literally. >> All right. Just an ID would be great, man. Did you try to use a credit card to pay for some soda or something? >> Sir, I have not used my credit card. >> Anything? We were just playing the slot machine. That's it. >> What's your name, dear? >> Fellow, >> tell me something. >> Your current driving record? >> I don't drive. >> You must have had a citation sometime in your life. >> I've never been pulled over or anything like that. >> Never? >> Never gotten a ticket for nothing? >> No, I've just been >> You ever been arrested by anything? >> No, I have not. How do I know this is you? >> It should come up under my name and uh >> Well, anybody can give me a name. >> This is my boyfriend. He knows that I'm Bella. >> Well, I understand that, but I'm trying to confirm who who everyone is. You understand? We're here right now. >> You said something about the credit card. >> Okay. What were you guys doing inside? >> I was playing the slots. >> And how were you playing the slots? What were you doing? >> How were you playing on the slots? Did you use cash? Did you use a card? >> Okay. And how did you get the cash? Did you already have the cash on you? Did you use it from them? >> No, I already had it on. So, why would we get a call about you guys using a credit card? >> I have no idea. I don't even use credit cards myself other than my cash app card. That's it. >> You have a Cash App card? >> So, you don't have any on you, you're saying? >> No, I don't. >> Where do you guys stand? >> We actually just >> Did you give your ID to those guys? >> No, I'm there with my friend. He uh somewhere around here. That's where we were just headed. Chuki. They call him Chuki. >> Chuki. >> Chuki. >> How did the guy get a name of Chuki? >> I don't know. His name is Jackson. I guess it's really striking. This is what ID says. But I probably using a carder or what? So you guys are using the slot machine. You said >> playing the slots. >> Yep. >> Or with her. >> Yeah. >> And win anything today or do they take you? >> I went a little bit. >> Went a little bit. >> This will be even easier. Let's just use your finger real quick. Just your index finger. >> You ever dealt with officers before? >> Yeah. >> What' you do with us for last? >> You guys stop this on for stopped us on the east side. >> Okay. You guys able to just both take a seat on the curb for me just while we're talking here. You don't need to be anxious. I just don't want you to take off running. That'd be a foolish thing to do. So, what am I doing? >> I don't know. I don't know. People do weird things, right? Told you that before. >> Cuz I have to be somewhere. >> Okay. Where do you have to be? >> Work. >> Where is work? >> Red Lobster. >> Red Lobster. What do you do at Red Lobster? >> What time is your uh your shift for? >> It's not a shift. >> That doesn't >> officers start with soft questions to ease the pressure and get people talking. Who are you to each other? Where'd the money come from? What's the story today? The couple quickly throws up a wall of denial. But the second they cling to, we didn't use that card, they trap themselves in a cash maze. So now every follow-up becomes harder to answer. Language turns into momentum. Each sentence is another step backward, tighter into the corner. >> Jackson, our friend, >> was Jackson just here with you guys. Did he leave already or what? >> Don't lie to me. >> Don't run. Do not run. Do not run. I'm not running. I'm not running. Not sitting. >> Anthony, I love you. Anthony, I love you. Please look at me, Anthony. >> Just relax. Hey, >> please look at me. Anthony, I love you. >> Just relax. >> I told you. Don't be stupid. >> Let go. >> Please. >> No. No. We're done that. We're done with that. >> Please, Anthony. I love you. >> Please stay seated, sir. Thank you. >> Why am I under arrest? >> You lied to me. >> And >> yeah, you can't lie to me. >> Do I have a warrant? >> You cannot lie to me. >> I have a warrant. Please tell me if I have a warrant. Well, that's why you're in cuffs right now. >> Because >> lying to me, I'm not going to be happy. >> Yeah, I know that. >> Okay. Credit card. >> I'm going to go find out and we're going to find out for sure. Where is the credit card or what's the story with the credit card? >> So, here is what happened. Um, so they tried to purchase a soda up at the bar. They were strictly came in with machines. They tried to purchase a soda. Immediately after that, it declined it. Immediately after that, a woman called and said her wallet was stolen and that her car just tried being used here. Where's the card? >> We don't have it. >> Okay. So, you tried to run it? >> Yes. She is the one that they wanted to purchase the soda from. The woman tried to use both cards. >> She has two cards. Yeah. >> Did the male do anything? >> Oh, well, he did a couple of things that were pretty odd. So, he won like 20 bucks out the machine. He kept going to the women's bathroom to check on him and he was pacing back and forth throughout the entire French, but he would just come up to the bar and ask for that $20. And then he like said something about my tattoos, but that was it. >> Okay. But he never used a credit card. >> So, for now, I'm going to release you. Okay. I find you have more involvement into this. >> Well, there's more to this story that I don't have completely told yet. There is a credit card being used that is stolen. But I didn't. >> That's not okay. >> Do you understand what I'm saying? >> Yes. >> Okay. It got stolen from somewhere. If you were there when it got stolen and you show up as part of being when the card got stolen, then you're going to be involved. Does that make sense? Okay. It appears you guys may have some issues being homeless. Got to try and figure those out. >> Honestly, it doesn't have to get loud to go sideways. All it takes is dishonesty and the whole situation shifts. Lying about your name is usually a defensive habit, not a one-time slip. The officers pick up on the signs of a life in freef fall, homelessness, addiction, and they keep it professional straight down the procedure. >> I completely 100% understand those difficulties. >> It's even hard to even just, you know, get a job even. >> Yep. Because >> because without an address, without a place where Yep. >> And I'll try there yet. I'll try to do a third shift. That'll then help you when I'm out all day during the day. >> Yep. I totally understand what you're talking of. You can't succeed tomorrow without trying today. If you never take a step forward and always take a step backwards, you'll never get I'm asking you if I can do something to help you or trying to encourage you to do cuz that's that's the only thing I have is encourage you and asking you to try and take a step forward on your own. >> Gambling machines, even though it works that way, is not going to help you. >> It'll help my anxiety everything. Please, I'm begging you. Can I just hear his voice one more time? I don't know how long I'm going to be going away. Please. I'm just begging you. Please. Just Just one time. Please. >> You already talked to him. I >> didn't talk to him. I wasn't talking. Please. >> You guys talked. You were talking. >> Please, sir. Please. >> No. >> Why? What did I do wrong? I just need to tell him something. >> No. >> I was supposed to tell him at the end of today. Please. I just found out I was pregnant. I want to tell him. Please. That's all I want to tell him. Please, sir. Please. We've been wanting a baby for so long. >> Now you can wait longer. >> NO. ANTHONY, CAN I GET BUILD? >> I LOVE YOU. >> HI. Did you have a credit card stolen? Okay. Did you report this to the police? You did when >> you're on probation, huh? >> I'm supposed to meet my PO. I was supposed to meet her on Monday and then my boyfriend ran off with my phone. >> So, I wasn't able to call her and ask her where it went and everything, >> right? I didn't know. >> Oh my gosh. You're on for a fraud. >> Yes, I do have a history of fraud, but I didn't use the credit card. That's what I'm saying. I promise I did not use that card. I didn't know it was stolen. I didn't know none of none of that. He said it was his >> In the middle of that drifting, unstable life. The young woman starts talking about her dream of becoming a parent. An honestly heartbreaking contradiction. Where does a child's future even land when the foundation isn't steady? And still the officers handle it with basic human decency. That decency becomes the real test. Is she ready to accept real help or is she trying to use sympathy as a shortcut to dodge responsibility? >> I try so hard. I have my name ready to go and then I say the rise. >> Take a take a breather. It's not a big deal. Okay. >> I don't know how long I'm going to be in there. >> Go to jail for just a little bit. >> Never get a couple charges. Nothing that's going to be earth shattering. Okay. Do you want to give me a statement about everything that happened today? >> No. Would it be would it look better if I did? >> This is up to you. Whatever you want to do. >> What looks better? >> Well, this is in your words what everything happened was today. >> Okay. And yes, >> I have nothing to do with him. >> I don't want him to just be left here. Tell him to go towards the Motel 6 and Quick Trip. >> She said check Motel 6 and the QUICK TRIP. >> I LOVE YOU. SO, we walked over to American Inn to go place him in the slot machines. We got kicked out cuz we didn't have a room. I didn't know they switched that rule. Then I called Parker John's before we went over there. Then we walked over there because they said they got slots and we were going to buy a drink. >> What were we using to play that? >> Porker John's. >> He sent me to Parker John's. >> Yeah, we did. After we called them and he found out they had slot machines, too. We walked them too. When we got in there, we played the game a little bit and then he asked me to go up and pay for a drink. I said, "Okay, give me some cash." He says, "No, I gave you those cards. Remember?" I said, "Is it okay if we use these cards? Do you know whose they are?" He said, "Yeah, I told you they're my friends. For a purchase less than $2." And when it didn't work, I said, "Okay, then give me a minute. I'll get my cash app up." Cuz I was already doubting my boyfriend. I was already doubting the whole plan. I doubted it from the start, but I didn't want to upset him. We went and sat back down at the table and he said, "Do it work?" I didn't know it work, but I'm going to try and get some money on my cash card. He said, "I got this." Just hold on one second. He pulled out two $20 bills. And he went put one more in the machine and I wouldn't have played with him and we lost the whole 20. And then we came back to sit down and that's when we started getting ready to go because our friend was messaging us. Like, if I knew I did something wrong, I probably would have dipped out of >> You can see her life moving on a kind of self-destruct autopilot. Lying about her identity isn't even a strategy anymore. It's a reflex. She isn't searching for the truth. She's testing which version benefits her most. Instead of building value through work, they've chosen the quick short-term exits. >> That I'm trying so hard to think about that, but I can't. >> There you go. Then you're good to go. >> I didn't hurry. >> So then you know what you need to do, right? So >> I'm trying to calm down. Do my parents get notified if I'm arrested right away? >> No. >> How do they find out? >> How old are you? >> 19. >> Yeah. No, they won't get notified at all. You're an adult. >> They got notified last time. >> Well, I don't know why. >> Would it be because they're a victim? >> A child. >> Were they a victim? >> They were. >> That would be why. >> If they're a victim, what are they victim of? >> The card fraud. >> Well, then yes, of course. >> I don't have any violent cases. >> No. >> Never. I would never hurt somebody. >> Do you have anything on you that I should know about? >> I don't believe that's what I was drinking. I had eyeliner in my bra. I don't know. >> Nothing else on your person anywhere? >> No. There's absolutely nothing. Cuz when we go into jail, they use a scanner. >> I know. There's nothing. >> Okay. >> All right. What was your first name again? >> We just got to hang tight for just a minute here. Okay. While uh they come out here. >> I've been out for less than a month. >> Was it here or was it somewhere else? >> Was it for um PMP again? Same thing. >> It was No, I just got them from I got sentenced last time I was here. >> Oh, okay. >> Is it just because I have so many cases and I wasn't showing up to court and >> I was just being really stupid back then. Like this is a complete accident. >> Yeah. I didn't do this. >> Just have a chair. Do you have your ID with you by any chance? >> I don't. It was in the wallet that was stolen. >> Unfortunately. Right. >> Right. >> Okay. You gave no one permission to use your credit card is is my portion of it. >> Okay. Cuz the jurisdiction that your card was stolen in is in the county deals with. >> Okay. She didn't come in the courtroom with no wallet. But we had gone to the court of courts before we went up to the courts and we're wondering cuz she put her receipt from the clerk of courts in her wallet. So I don't know if she dropped it maybe in the elevator. >> Can you just put your name on the top of that please? >> So she should be able to identify where she had traveled and they'll just follow her around. >> Oh, she was all upset because everything was in there. Her social security card, everything. There's no money in it as >> no money like nothing of value. She wasn't able to cash anything out of them. >> In the end, she was taken to jail and faced charges including unauthorized use of a card, theft, possession of stolen property, credit card fraud, providing false identification, and a probation violation. If convicted, the maximum penalties could reach up to $20,000 in fines, and as much as 6 years in prison. The cuffs clicked shut because of a stolen card. And then the screaming started when the secret got ripped wide open. On July 12th, 2025, Charlotte County deputies were called to an Airbnb after multiple reports of a couple on vacation screaming and fighting. What started as a jealousy blowup, possible cheating, spiraled into a physical fight with injuries, and there was a small child in the home, so police had to step in. Here's what happened next. >> What happened, guys? >> Nothing. This my daughter. She's on her way home. >> Okay. What? What happened? Why was there lots of yelling and stuff? >> They just had a little argument. So, I'm sending her home and he's That's my grandbaby in there. And then I'm going to have him take my car. >> Is that daughter? >> That's your daughter? >> You You guys had the argument? >> Yeah. But >> okay, it's not a big deal. I >> I'm sending them home now. >> Okay. Anything got physical? >> No, we're good. >> What happened? >> Nothing. Like we just literally just arguing over like she just scratched me. Just stuff like that. just arguing over like nothing cuz she got caught cheating. She get mad. >> Were you physical with her at all? >> No sir. I'm literally trying to move her away from me. You can ask her mother anything. I didn't touch her or nothing. >> Listen, you're not under arrest right now. I'm just going to read you your miranda rights. That way you know you before we talk any. >> So the argument started about cheating. >> I guess you woke up and somebody in my phone would both cheat. You know how they talk about? Um um I guess he I was already dissing myself from him cuz he already kept coming by saying slick stuff like after he found out I already told him in a message that I even said I picked the blame. >> After that he just kept coming in and out making slick remarks and I'm just trying to ignore him. I'm I'm on the phone with my sister trying to ignore this man. >> So after that it just take place like he wanted he wanted to go home like he wanted me to drive him home. We already came out here for the Airbnb, but he wanted me to take him home, but I already said like we just woke up at 12:00. It's already hitting 1:00 outside um Fort Myers. I said I don't feel like going home. >> The 18-year-old guy doesn't have a car. He's relying on his girlfriend just to get out of the Airbnb. So, I want to leave turns into survival logistics, not a choice. Once both of them are showing signs of a struggle, this stops being a messy relationship argument and becomes a real incident. From here, words start triggering violence and the self-justification kicks in fast. >> He's sitting there. He was like, "That's why you taste like that. That's why you've been tasting so weird." Just basically like >> calling me out my names, calling me a hoe, saying I'm ran through, saying I'm that. Just making me feel bad about myself. So, of course, the words touched me and I threw my hand on him. So, my mom was trying to stop us, but I was still throwing my hands on him. So, he he didn't touch me at all. He was just trying to like jack me up, push me off of him type. But he didn't put his hands on me. >> Okay. When you say push push you off of him, did you come on to him? >> Did I come on to him? >> Yeah. >> We was already like this. Like this. >> Oh, you don't have to do that to me. >> But that's how we was. So I'm trying to give you the picture. >> Okay. >> So we was like that. So I already threw my punch, but he already he grabbed and pulled my braid on my head. My [ __ ] is scalped. I already know. >> Um so that's when I was punching him cuz he pulled my braid out my head. So, of course, I'm going to throw a punch. And I continue throwing punches at him. So, he has a knot on his head. So, that's when he just yanked me by my shirt and grabbed me like this. That's why my shirt is ripped. >> Hold that. >> Just give her water. >> Yeah. >> You have anything on your hands? Can Can you go ahead and put your hands together for me like this? Turn them around together. >> Since ninth grade. >> Since 9th grade. >> Yeah. And that's the dear child that you guys have in common. >> Okay. >> Um >> we had we had many education but like >> not like not like >> your volume is so low. >> All right. So you guys were here today. >> Yeah. >> All right. What happened? >> Okay. I woke up. I checked the time on her phone cuz my phone dead. >> Okay. >> And I see a dude text her. I just asked her. I'm like, "So we cheating?" You know how girls do they get offensive like blah blah blah blah blah all this that. Then I try to talk to her like boom. She would just take me home cuz I have no transportation. I don't want to go home. >> Where's his home at? >> You live in the same house? Oh, cuz my phone's dead and I like I had to use her phone to see what time it was. >> You went through messages? >> No, I didn't. I I just turned her phone on literally. And then it said she was texting somebody. So, boom. I'm like, you take me home. She like, no. She getting mad. I keep asking her, can you take me home? Can you take me home? She's like, no, no, no. That's really what happened led up to it cuz I kept asking, can you take me home? I don't want to be here. They got no station. She brought me here and her mom cried. I have no other way home. So, I called my people. They couldn't come get me. So, I just I needed somebody to take me home. I didn't want to be here at all. >> She thinks if I feel disrespected, I'm allowed to swing back. But the law doesn't grade on feelings. It looks at who struck first, how hard, and who pushed things past the line. In this story, the boyfriend isn't trying to win an argument. He's trying to get out clean and go home in peace. for sure of me cuz I don't want to touch a female. >> Were you walking away? Were you >> I was trying to I'm telling you I do not want to touch a female. >> Yeah, I'm asking this question. I'm trying to be discouraged possible just because I was I just needed like crazy in front of my baby. It's just like >> Where was your child when this was happening? >> My child was in there. Her mother Her mother was trying to control her too, but >> it was just too much going on. >> So you're trying to walk away. She's grabbing you trying to force you. Her mother got a baby so she can't control her like >> and you're doing >> evasive maneuvers started hitting you swinging or >> when I approached him we was already arguing I guess when I >> at what point did it get physical? >> When he just kept calling me out my name. >> He was saying that he was saying that stuff. >> So >> So did did he just kind of piss you off and off until you came over and hit him? Where'd you hit him first? >> Um his eye. >> Right in his eye. Right in the eye. So, she said that we could we can just uh just ask uh you're going to have to get pictures somewhere as we take pictures. >> All right. Just sympathy. >> Yeah. >> Can you go ahead and put your phone down for me? Okay. >> Put your hand behind the >> back. [laughter] Stop. Stop. STOP. >> STOP. MY DADDY KILL. >> STOP. >> You're going to get tased. >> You're going to get tased. >> YOU'RE GOING TO GET TASED. >> GET MY OTHER HAND. >> I CAN'T GET MY OTHER ARM. >> I CAN'T. >> Take her other arm out. Take her other arm out. >> Let her take her arm out. >> She is. >> She looks like she's going to go to jail. >> What do you think, dude? Is >> ahead. Here. Here. >> Please don't. >> Do not resist. I'm going to [ __ ] you. You understand? >> Please don't tase her. >> I'm not going to. Can you go over there so we can do our job? Please. >> I know. But that's my >> In a split second, it turns into a power contest and her reaction says everything. When an adult's pride matters more than a child's eyes watching, the moral line starts sliding. In the background, grandma's holding the little one, worried, tense, still trying to step into the blast zone to stop it. What you told him >> now? You quiet area, right? >> All right. Roll over. Stand up over. >> All right. >> I'll help you. Stand up. >> You got to stand. >> Get up. >> You got to, baby. >> Stand up. >> I will drag you to the car. >> Stop it. Stand up. >> Stand up, baby. Cuz they're going to take it down. Get in the car. Shut up. >> Get in the car. >> Nobody about to push it though. You probably >> Yep. >> Move. I'm already here. You're about to >> Yeah. >> Just go down now. I'll do the rest. Probably right now. >> Yeah. Oh my god. >> No. You got You got the hot RIDE WITH YOU. CAN >> I RIDE with you? >> No. >> Why? >> No. >> I don't want to ride with no. >> Stop. Stop it. >> It's rude. >> Stop it. All right. Stop. Please. I'm asking you to just stop. You did this. We didn't do it. Okay. >> I didn't do nothing. I told the truth. >> Hey, I got him. I think I got some on my seat. Just All right. Hold it here. >> Come back over here. Ouch. >> Come back over here. >> Why? >> Come back over here, woman. >> In the car. >> I understand. I'm going to tie your feet because you can't act like an adult and you keep kicking my car. >> Well, I'm not doing that no more. >> Come over here. You still have to be in a in a car seat. Come over here. I'm going to drag. I don't want to keep hurting you. I don't want to keep touching you. Come over here. Listen to me. I don't want to keep forcing you. All right? I don't want to keep holding you. Just come over so I can put a I have to put your your car. I have to put >> the seat belt. You got to get in the seat belt. >> Come on, dude. Let's go. >> The focus drifts away from the child and away from the exit. She locks on to one goal. Don't let anyone control me. In a win or lose mindset, handcuffs equal humiliation. And when saving face feels like life or death, resistance erupts like she's fighting an enemy, no matter how fast the price tag is climbing. >> Call my daddy. >> Give me your feet. Give me your feet. >> I want my dad. Call my dad. Okay, bring it here. >> SIT BACK. BRING IT HERE. Bring it here. Don't listen to them. BRING IT HERE. >> TELL DADDY CALL. >> Go ahead. >> Just go to Just go to the jail. She stops. >> Let the jail know she's going to be disorderly. >> I'll be on traffic branch till 7 p.m. >> Yeah. If >> you don't want to do anything, >> come in the light, please. >> The criteria that meets her domestic violence. Okay? Whether you choose to cooperate or not, right now, we have no choice but to separate you back from the situation. She's going to be under arrest that at a later date. If you go to court and you don't choose to cooperate, that's on you. You want to drop charges, that's on you. But for right now, yeah, she's going to go. >> I'm saying I can still drop charges in there. >> Yes. Okay. Definitely. >> You can do whatever you want later on, but not right now. Okay. lift your uh your hair up so I get the forces. >> Okay. So, what was your question? >> I just want to know where you keep her. >> Okay. So, she's under arrest for domestic violence battery. Okay. He didn't want to press charges. We had no choice but to press charges in the state of Florida. We grabbed a statement from him. We grabbed a statement from her. Her statement and his statement coincided. The primary aggressor is her. Okay? We have to establish establish who was a primary aggressor. Okay? And for based off what she said, based off what he said, we decided she was a primary aggressor. So us as law enforcement officers have no choice but to remove one or the other from the situation. Okay? So that's why we were going to take her into custody. The reason we went hands-on with her and took her to the ground and almost tased her was because she was being combative and she was resisting. Okay? We didn't want to do that. I don't want to put my hands on a girl. I don't you mean I understand the situations are already hard as it is. >> I understand. I was just It's I understand. In the end, the woman was arrested and faced charges tied to domestic violence, plus resisting arrest without violence. If convicted, potential penalties could include up to a year in jail, up to a $2,000 fine, a no contact order, mandatory counseling, and a DCF notification because a child was involved. That vacation got wrecked in one hot-headed minute. And a few seconds of a bag search was enough to shut the whole story down. On September 21st, 2025, police were dispatched after a driver reported being threatened with a gun during a road rage incident. The suspect in a black sedan turned into a Wendy's parking lot. With the possibility it was a real firearm, officers had no choice but to move in with a strict high control takedown. >> Where do you want me? >> Walk back to me. Face forward, please. >> Okay. >> Go ahead and turn around. >> Am I being arrested? >> No, you're not being arrested. Do you have any weapons on you? >> Okay. I'm going to have you set back here. >> Open the door from the outside. Step out. Keep your hands straight up. Hands up. >> Stand up. Stand straight up. Face away from me. Keep your hands up. Walk backwards. >> Wide. >> Spread your feet wide. >> Put them on the car. Put them on the car. >> We have a resistor. >> I'm not. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Do not move. >> Like you doing it too much, bro. Like dead ass. I was listening to everything you told me to do. You see, >> STOP PULLING AWAY. DEAD ASS. >> Stop moving. >> Stop pulling. >> Stop moving. >> Stop, >> bro. Dead ass, CUZ LIKE >> STOP MOVING. >> I'M NOT MOVING. You moving me. >> Like you moving me, bro. Look at you. You moving me. >> Like, I'm not doing [ __ ] bro. >> He's not holding mine, >> bro. I'm not doing [ __ ] bro. Like, you the one moving me and [ __ ] Like, you you racist, bro. That's what you see my curly hair. The turning point wasn't the object itself. It was how he handled authority. The push back came out on instinct. Like pride mattered more than safety. And in that split second, a situation that still had an exit got shoved into the danger zone where every decision carries a steep price. >> No, bro. Cuz this is [ __ ] up against a car. >> You're under arrest for obstructing official business. >> Bro, for doing what? >> He's under arrest. Obstructing, >> bro. For doing what? >> Take it here. Will you fix your seat belt? Oh, >> bro. Dead ass. Like dead ass. >> You've always been cool with us. >> No, like dead ass. Like >> lives on. Uh, >> is that it? >> I'm not You're under arrest. All right, I'll go to jail cuz like you dead ass. >> Shout out my mom. Like, if I just cuss, I'll beat you. I'm not. >> Not yet. She knows who he is. I guess we've dealt with him before. >> It's Ethan. Ethan, >> where's he left? >> His mom has the pink um and do you have the pink store online or in their front room? >> Talk to him or hold off just marked about a slate. >> What's that? >> I think they're taking him in for a slate. >> Okay. >> He was in May's court not too long ago. His name sounds familiar, but I don't know about a big buck. >> Who's calling the caller? Reer. >> Yeah, I'll start it. Like, >> is it really that hard just to follow instructions? >> What's up? >> I have to go into work. But what's going on? >> You work here? >> Yeah, I do. What's going on? >> So, what we were driving and it was, you know, where the uh Flyers Pizza is? was like right at that light, the intersection, and this woman came speeding in and cut him off without his blinker. So he >> So she merged lanes in like right in front of him. >> Yeah. So almost hit us. So he he's I'm like, "Mason, you need to calm down." Cuz he starts getting real close to this woman's car. I was like, "Mason, please calm down. Please calm down." Whatever. >> Where does he live? >> Um right now we live on the south side. She's tied up in a lot emotionally and practically, so it's easy for her to make the wrong move later. She calls the whole thing stupid to soften it. But calling it what it really is, threatening someone with a gun-like object, is harder because then she has to admit she's living with a risk she chose. To her, loyalty feels like the right thing. Southbound for a while. It finally turned eastbound town. Um, he didn't get around her until slipped her off. She said I flipped them off back and then he pointed a gun at her and then she wanted to go to the ground. >> All right, let's search again. >> She's checking out at Target right now. She said she has to go to Kroger. She said she pulling the Turkey Hill to write a statement. >> So he's going he's going for a trucking. >> Yeah, >> he was pulling away turning everything. >> I had to put him over top of the hood of the cruiser cuz the way he's acting goes >> resistor. What did you mark possessor? >> Wait. >> All right. Do you know why we're here? >> As a bridge. >> So, I'm going to be transparent with you. >> You're being very cooperative. I know this is scary. >> Yeah. They'll tell you about it when you go in, I'm sure. Um, if you are lying, you can get in trouble. >> Yeah, I know. >> Okay. We're going to find out the truth. Motel 6 has fantastic cameras. So does Turkey Hill. I >> Yeah. >> I don't But here's the deal. You don't want to get in trouble for him. >> Is there anything you haven't told me? >> I don't want him to get in trouble, bro. >> Well, he's already in trouble. All right. Well, >> okay. I'll say he has a BB gun. It is literally a BB gun, but it's a playground gun. >> And where is that at? >> Can people get in a lot of trouble for having BB guns? >> Well, it depends how it's used, >> right? >> So, what happened? >> He just waved at her and she jaw dropped. And I was like, Mason, why would you do that? >> Okay. And did he like point it at her? >> No, he didn't point it at her. He was like this. He was like Okay. And where did that end up? Where is that BB gun? >> Under the car to the right. >> Under the car. >> Once fear hits, the brain doesn't run on morality. It runs on immediate risk reduction. The core psychology here isn't evil intent. It's escape thinking. The pressure of the system forces her out of the love story mindset and into the victim's point of view. Because in that moment, reality is louder than romance. >> No, don't apologize. This is not your doing. We've dealt with him for a long time. I've dealt with him since he was I don't even know how old. >> Why does he keep doing it? It really upsets me because >> he's have a really good future. >> He's a great kid. He was a good kid. He was and he still has potential. He does have an anger issue. >> Um that doesn't make it right. But when things like this happen, we don't know it's a BB gun. Do you think that lady knew it was a BB gun? >> I don't even know if these whatever. >> It looks real. >> Yeah. >> Grace, really quick. >> Before you ask any questions, you must understand your rights. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say is against you in a court. You have the right to talk to a lawyer. Before we ask any questions, have a lawyer with you during any questioning. You understand your rights? Um, who put it under the car? >> Okay. Thank you. Um, and is that when did you do that? Did you see Did you hear the sirens? Like what? >> Right after I put it under the fire. >> Okay. >> We don't need the video. >> She put it under it. >> I think we still want the video. >> Oh, if we hit her if we hit the tampering charge, we want the video just to verify it. >> That sucks. >> She gets the F3 on felony for that. >> Why'd she do it? >> Um, she said now she didn't say that. I mean, she said, "We need to get rid of it." Not we. He He needed to get rid of it. She was already getting out of the car, but I That sucks. >> But if if he handed it to her, >> but she also told us where it was at. >> So, have you merandized her now? >> Yes. >> You start ask her all the same questions again. Get the whole rundown. What was the point of putting it there? Cuz if she's trying to hide evidence, and that's 100% tampering. >> In her eyes, it isn't crime. It's cleaning up the mess for love. But the law doesn't speak about feelings. It calls it interference, obstruction, hiding the truth. It's the everyday kind of tragedy. You don't need to be malicious. You just need to love the wrong person. And the moment she realizes she's carrying the weight for him, something inside her caves in. >> Yes, >> I can get I can go to work, right? >> Um so we're going to talk, >> but right now you're going to go in handcuffs. Okay. Um, so go ahead and turn around for me. >> Put your palms together like you're clapping. >> Bro, my mom's going to be so disappointed in me if I didn't even do anything. >> No, that one's locked. Will you hold it or unlock it? >> I'm sorry. >> Hang on. But do you have anything? >> What is going on? >> Don't scream, please. >> Is this the lady? >> Oh my gosh. >> Spread your feet wider than your shoulders. Do you have anything on you that's going to cut, stick, or poke me? Do you have anything on you that we need to know about? >> All right. Do you keep anything in your bra? >> No. You don't even have to be, >> girl. Me neither. It's fine. Not a bad >> um three. Thanks for asking. >> Get out of here. >> Still working a lot closer. >> Yeah. >> Well, I don't even think I'm working on it anymore. tampering with evidence to felony of the third degree. >> How many degrees? >> Five. One being the worst, five being the least. >> You've told me several times that he told you to place the the gun under the car and you did. You shouldn't have done that. Will you just tell me that I felt that? >> Did you hear her? >> No, I couldn't. What' she say? >> Will you just tell Mason that I love him and I >> In the end, both were arrested and taken to jail. The man faced charges tied to serious threats and obstructing police. He bonded out on $10,000. After court, he was sentenced to two days in jail and a $250 fine. The girlfriend was charged with tampering, charged faking evidence, and also bonded out for $10,000, but her charge was later dismissed in court. One girl loses because she can't keep what's in her bag hidden. The other loses because she picked the worst possible way to hide the truth. On January 5th, 2025, an Orange County deputy pulled over a car for making a right turn on Red without coming to a complete stop and for having a window tint that was way too dark. As he approached, he noticed the passenger might be trying to hide marijuana. What followed quickly went far beyond a routine traffic stop. >> Hey, how you doing? >> Your driver's license. Thanks. You roll your back around for me. Thank you. You know what percent tent you have on here? What? >> I have no idea. I bought it. >> Okay. All right. So, pulling over for that. I'll double check your tent here in a second. And then, uh, whenever you were just down Fair Villa, um, what? >> My light. >> Your what? >> My >> No, you just didn't make a complete stop when you made a right onto Mercy and then you just pulled out in front of traffic right there. Not a huge complete deal, though. Do you have your ID on you as well? >> No, she doesn't. >> No. Are you guys both from Alabama or No? >> No. >> You're from here? >> No, she's from Arkansas. >> Arkansas. Okay. What are you guys doing down here? >> Uh, we're here. >> For what? >> Oh, okay. What when is that? >> Uh, like right now. >> Oh, okay. Really? >> Yeah. >> You got a pin on you? >> What's your first name? >> Emma. >> Emma. That's your full real name. >> Emma. >> What? >> Emma. >> Emma. What's your last name? Gunlock. >> Gunlock. >> Can you spell it? >> You're covering your mouth. I need I can't hear anything. >> G N L O C. >> Okay. And then what's your birthday? 2002. Okay. Hop out of the car for me. Get her out. I think she's eating drugs. Check her mouth. I'm pretty sure she's eating drugs right now. At this point, officers are still in traffic stop mode. But the passenger covering her mouth, whispering, swallowing her words, that's a clear red flag. Those nonverbal cues are enough to trip an experienced officer's instincts and raise the level of caution. >> Good job. >> Hey, I can I can smell it now. Did >> she spit out the spit it out? >> Yeah. anymore. Is that smart? >> You got crumbs and weed all on your mouth. Come on. Is it really worth it? Face the car. Chance on your back. Hey, I can I can smell it now. I'm pretty sure she's eating it. >> She spit it out. That's what it was. Okay. Hey, Carlos, you can point to it. This girl's trying to keep drugs right in front of us. pockets. >> She got it all over. >> If you weren't going to go to jail, you're going to go to jail now just for that. >> You made You made it worse than it had to be. I don't know. Hey, what was she eating? >> Gummies or like >> No, it's >> Yeah, it's the plant. >> Nothing else on you. >> Did you give him your real name? Let me give you a chance to be real honest with me. >> Am I going to find anything besides the she just ate in the car? >> No, you're not. >> Okay. All right. Face the car. >> Do you have a medical card or anything? >> It wasn't new evidence that changed the direction of this stop. It was behavior. She kept everything hidden until she couldn't anymore. And when it came out, it came out messy. In that moment, the innocent passenger image vanished. This stopped being about marijuana. It became about disrespecting procedure. Something the system never ignores. >> A little bit big deal. >> You got any weapons or anything, buddy? >> 1042 secure. >> Secure 24 hours. her mouth. >> She's like, I'm like, >> spit it out. >> Hispanic male and a black shirt. >> Hey, she's gone. >> What? >> She's gone for sure. >> Yeah, destruction evidence, bro. I mean, come on. >> It was a big chunk >> messing her makeup bag. They're like, "Oh, we're going to a festival." And I was like, "Okay, they're probably going to have something. and they're going to a festival. I step away to call for K9, asking her her info, and she's like, and I start smelling. I'm like, why aren't you talking to me? And she's covering her mouth like trying not to, >> are you able to block this lane or no? >> Oh, we'll block it all the way back by G. Yeah. Yeah, back by G. Or like next to G or something. Hey, I'm gonna I'm gonna run them both. All right. >> Is that your girl, man? >> It's kind of a dumb thing she just did. If that's all you guys got, it's a little bit of Bro, that's not a big deal. You gave me your ID, right? Step out. >> You need the fire department. Do you need the fire department to check you out? No. You sure? All right. Here's the thing. You got nothing hitting anywhere in your body. So, if you go to jail, you find something else on you, that's going to be an extra charge, which is going to be a felony. Right now, you got a misdemeanor. If you got anything on you going to the jail, it's going to be a felony. Okay. All right. Have a seat. >> This is the moment the system tries to slow someone down. Not because they're a bad person, but because one impulsive second can wreck an entire future. And that's the part that makes viewers sigh. No malice, no pressure. Nobody forced her hand. Just one bad snap decision. Come over here. Just face the front of the car. All right, man. Here's what's going on. Unfortunately, you guys would probably be able to enjoy your festival today if she wasn't to try to pull a stupid stunt. Okay. We don't really take kind to people trying to do stuff like that. If it just would have been a little bit of weed, I would have took it from you guys and you guys be on your way. Okay. You're not going to jail. She's going to be going to jail. She's going to be getting charged with uh possession of um destruction of evidence. She's trying to literally eat evidence. So, um you got one ticket for your tent. That was it. It was 14 all the way around. You got your front's got to be 28. Your back's got to be 15. Okay. So, your backs are probably good. It's just your front windows. >> There's nothing. >> All right. Now, she's going to be going to jail. Do you know where 33rd Street is? >> You got a phone, right? So, Google Orange County Jail. All right. And uh give it some time. You have to bond her out. The bond's not going to be too extravagant. So, >> how much do you think? >> I I It's probably what is it like three grand? Yeah, like $200 or $300 with a bondsman, probably. So, all right. Um, I put your driver's license. >> You think I'd be a little out? >> Give it a few hours, but her her uh your driver's license and your ticket are right there. Okay. >> One person cooperates and drives away with a ticket. The other decides to do something stupid and ends up in handcuffs. Not because of weed, because destroying evidence right in front of police tells them something far more dangerous. When cornered, this person is willing to cross bigger lines. That's just silly. All right. Um, I got to ask you a couple questions. In order to do that, I have to read you your Miranda rights. Are you willing to speak to me about this whole little situation or no? Okay. You have the right to remain silent. You anything you say will be used in court as evidence against you? And then, do you understand these rights? Do you understand these rights? I need to say yes or no. I'm sorry. Okay. And do you wish to talk to me at this time? What? >> Where's your hair? >> Like it's that way. >> This one? Okay. Oh, I'm sorry. I'm trying to I'm going to pull over here out of traffic so I can question you. Okay. You really think that we care about a little bit of drugs? Do you even know where you're at right now? >> Huh? >> Really? >> You know the area you're at? Pine Hills. >> No. >> How bad of an area this actually is. No. >> Okay. So, little bit's probably the least of our worries. Okay. But when you try to eat stuff and pull a stupid stunt, it's dumb. Okay. All right. Um why why would you like why what made you decide to eat the weed? Was it your boyfriend that told you to do it or you just >> He's told me to like that he's done it before and I thought that's what I needed to do. Like you guys have talked about it before. >> Yeah. >> When did he tell you that? >> Oh, okay. Like >> Yeah. Like we just talked about it. >> Okay. So you >> I just panicked. >> So you just panicked and decided to eat the weed. >> When did you start eating it? When I pulled you guys over or before? >> Like >> when I like walked Oh, as I was walking up. >> Yeah, a little bit. In the end, the young woman was arrested and taken to jail on charges of marijuana possession and tampering with evidence. For offenses like these, the maximum penalties can reach up to $5,000 in fines and as much as 5 years in prison. The real question is, do you think she'll be wiser the next time she's in a situation like this? One swallow made everything worse. And at the very next scene, it's that same moment of panic that makes everyone pay the price. On September 8th, 2024, at around 2:00 a.m., police responded to a call about a family and neighbor dispute. Loud screaming, signs of a physical altercation. The kind of situation that can spill into real violence fast in a sleeping neighborhood. Officers showed up to separate everyone before it got worse. And here's what happened next. >> What? What's going on? >> She stopped me. >> Okay. >> I don't know what the she stopped me for. We sitting up here talking. >> Who is she to you? >> My friend. >> Who is she to you? >> My kids. My kids. >> That's her That's his girlfriend. >> Give me one second. >> So, what's what's going on? >> Yeah. My kids got talking about >> She called y'all. >> I was. >> Someone called. So, what's going on? I'm going to need you to go back over there. >> Talk to them. >> I'm going need you to go back over there. >> No, I'm not. No, because No, she don't even stay here. This is my mama house. >> I'm going to GO TALK TO THIS HOUSE OVER THERE. >> NO, >> I'm not. I'm Listen, I don't know what the going on. The [ __ ] is tripping. She's tripping. She >> Did you hit her? Yes or no? No. >> Did she hit me? >> That's what I'm asking you. Did she hit you? >> I don't know. >> All right, then. We all good then. >> It's just arguments. Arguing. We all good. >> Okay. So, I'm going to ask you one more time. >> Arguing. That's it. It was nothing. >> Everything was verbal. >> Everything was verbal. >> Okay. So, if I see her and her, none of them are going to have any bruises, marks, scratches, >> nothing. Where'd that come from? >> I feel >> recently. >> Yep. >> Can you go talk to the one inside? She's yelling and everything. She want to fight her. >> Hey, are you the other party? What's going on? >> She stopped me. I was trying to get my mama's attention and she didn't open the door for me. >> Look, you see me? You can see me. >> I see you have blood. >> Okay. You see my face and you see her face, right? Okay. What is it? What? Why? Why I got to say anything? I'm lit. >> Nobody is talking to solve anything. They're talking to win the definition of the story. Whoever yells the loudest gets to be right. The answers are vague. They keep hopping topics, swapping roles, blurring who did what. Anything to knock the officers off balance, and make it harder to identify who's who. The wild part, it's nearly 2:00 a.m. and nobody is lowering their voice. >> So, what's going on? >> I didn't knock on the door. >> Just stay outside real quick. Just start real quick. You better tell >> just stay outside real quick. >> Okay. Any point anything get physical. >> They was out there tussling. I don't know if they was hitting each other or what. >> I'm not THE I DIDN'T DO NOTHING. I DIDN'T DO NOTHING. >> Get back. HE DID. STOP ME. >> NO, I DIDN'T. I JUST SLAPPED YOUR PHONE OUT YOUR HAND. >> GO BACK OVER THERE. >> I just didn't do anything. I slapped your phone out your hand. I ain't even PUT MY HANDS ON YOU. >> I NEED YOU TO HAVE A SEAT. >> But I need you TO HAVE A SEAT. [screaming] >> MOM, I DID NOT DO NOTHING WRONG. I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING. MOMMY, I DIDN'T DO >> GET YOUR HANDS OFF OF HER. She touch her. >> You don't want me to touch you? >> I see. >> Oh my god. I'm never TALKING TO Y'ALL AGAIN. I'M NEVER TALKING TO Y'ALL AGAIN. I'M NEVER TALKING TO Y'ALL AGAIN. I JUST SLAPPED HER PHONE OUT. >> I just slapped her phone and she doing all that animated for real. >> I go I go I go do something and make really man. >> PLEASE LISTEN. >> He just came UP HERE AND SLAP MY PHONE. HE JUST CAME AND SLAP MY PHONE. >> JUST he trying to tell you you're not listening to me. This is WHERE UP HERE SAY CALM DOWN. >> The officers start separating people to get clean statements, giving very simple basic commands to cool things down. The resistance to those basic requests is the real red flag. This isn't about right or wrong. It's about losing control of the stage. They stop explaining and shift into controlled threats, trying to keep power through intimidation. >> What just happened? >> What's up? >> What just happened? >> What's up? >> I'm not here to start anything with >> I know. I know you ain't. What's up? >> Huh? What's up? >> So, what just happened? I just slapped the phone in her hand cuz she sitting there doing all that animated [ __ ] She lying and she doing all that animated trying to get other people in in trouble. >> That ain't that that ain't cool. >> Hey, come here. >> Oh my god. Jesus Lord. I should [laughter] have [ __ ] BEEN. I SWEAR TO GOD, >> MAN. YOU NOT YOU NOT YOU AIN'T [ __ ] YOU NOT [ __ ] MAN. You man, you not [ __ ] man. You not [ __ ] >> It's not GOING TO STOP. [screaming] >> I'M GOING TO LEAVE. >> I NEED YOU TO HAVE A SEAT. >> I WAS LEAVING. >> I'M NOT GOING TO [ __ ] YOU. >> SO, she slapped the phone out of your hand. >> No, I slapped the phone out. >> You slapped the phone out of her hand. >> And she top So, I slapped her >> and then she got on top of you. >> She slapped me. >> She slapped you? >> Yes. >> Okay, that's all I asked. >> He just slapped my [ __ ] out my >> seat. Hey, come here. Please. >> Come here. Just come here. Just come here. Just come here. Please don't go to jail. Please. Your people need you, man. Chill. >> Chill. He just got whipped behind his feet. I don't Don't put his hand behind his back. Don't do that. >> I'm just saying I just need to detain >> him. Come here. I can walk. >> No. No, you can't. You're being detained. No, you are being detained. You cannot walk. Why? I'm being detained. >> Stop. Why I'm being detained? I just walk to the stop sign. Come here. Just come here. >> So why am I being detained? Just stand right here. I'm being detained. Just come here. >> No. Just for now. >> Can you put my hand in front of me so I can smell my Okay. I'll let you I'll let you do that later. >> Okay. Can you watch right now? >> All right. Come here. >> Have a seat right here. >> The story keeps changing again and again. And when the axis of truth gets pulled sideways, police are left with one practical move. Restrain to prevent risk. That constant shifting isn't random. It's a deliberate reshaping of the narrative to match self-interest. In that world, everybody is the victim in the story they're telling. >> I need you to calm down. >> What you mean calm down? Tell me what happened from the beginning. >> THIS IS THE ONLY >> I'M NOT GOING TO ARGUE. >> Tell me what happened today. I'mma be talking to my friend. >> Okay. You were talking to her. So, what happened? >> And then my brother, girlfriend come up here or whatever. We chilling and then this just slap me. >> Why did she slap you? >> I DON'T [ __ ] KNOW. UM, he kept walking around, bowled up at me, refused >> refused to be attending. >> For what? >> Just come sit over here. >> But for what though? >> Well, right now he's going to jail for resistance. >> For resisting >> I didn't resist anything. >> Did I resist? >> Sit down. >> Did I resist? >> The whole time I was asking you to calm down and come here. I told but I told I told you I'm not going to do nothing. >> I'm just rem I'm >> to deal with this every [ __ ] >> They don't care about me. >> Nah, this is what she do. She put everybody into whatever going on with her. She put everybody into it and then we we we we look like the bad person cuz that's how she make us look. >> Okay. Okay. So running. >> I don't know what to tell y'all. >> Okay. But we do. We care. So we want to know exactly what happened. >> So you're refusing to say anything. >> I don't know. I told y'all everything. [snorts] >> She died. No. >> How' you scare How you scrape your knees? >> Cuz I fell. >> Where did you fall at? >> Right over there. Whenever she came right here talking about calm down. >> Did you trip or did she push you? >> No. My brother was pulling. >> Your brother was pulling you? Yo, >> every simple command that touches the ego becomes a spark. The defiant person stirs the pot with words and movement, forcing officers to tighten control. In that ecosystem, chaos is power. One person drags the whole household into supporting roles. And once the stage collapses, police have to close the circle. Nobody gets to stand outside the story anymore. >> Were you and your brother when we were out here? >> Nothing happened with me and my brother. >> Well, y'all were fighting and found officers. Oh, >> okay. But my little brother was in My little brother was right here. I don't got He ain't got no more. I do. >> I do. >> I need to talk to >> All right. I'm going to need you to stand up >> for what? >> I'm going to need you to stand up. Turn around. >> Okay. Do you have anything on you? phone, money, anything >> all the time. You know, I I'm tired. I'm I'm I'm getting too old for these. >> Can you please stop kicking me? >> I'm going to need you to spread your feet. I'm going to need you to spread your feet. >> Mom. Mom. >> M. She kicking me. >> She kicking my feet. Mom, >> get in the >> ma'am. I'm not have a seat. >> I'm sitting down. you. >> All right. What was I being detained for? I didn't resist nothing. >> For the crime of a battery that just occurred right in front of me. >> Battery. I did not hit her. >> Can you Can you show me show me the definition of battery? >> I will when we get here. >> All right. Please do. >> So, I'm going to say this as fast as I can. >> I need you to stay calm with me. I really don't want to fight you. Like, I really don't want to do that cuz I really >> I'm not I'm doing anything. I never been in court. I don't do nothing. Yes. Yes. >> Hey, can you have the other girl that was here step out? >> She should be walking on the other side. >> Thank you. How you doing, ma'am? Sorry to wake you up. Came out here. You will be so calm. Chance might hit you back. You don't rest. >> Better than the law [ __ ] officer, man. >> Who did I hit? >> Officer that was out here. Who did I hit though? >> Yes, ma'am. >> What do you mean I hit? >> Well, well, he was trying to take us custody of other gentlemen. He smacked him with your hand. In the end, three people were arrested. The man was charged with disorderly conduct, domestic violence related offenses, and resisting arrest and he was hit with $592 in penalties. His sister was charged with domestic violence. The third person was charged with assault on an officer and resisting arrest without violence. She was sentenced to 12 months of probation and a $1,200 fine. On August 28th, 2023, police in Echim Township, New Jersey, responded to a call about suspected animal abuse. But when they stepped inside the home, what they found was far worse than anyone [music] expected. Over 30 dead dogs. A 9-year-old boy living among rotting animal corpses [music] and filthy cages smeared with feces. This wasn't just animal cruelty. It was a humanitarian disaster. >> How are you guys? >> Good. How are you? >> What? Who lives here? >> I do. >> You do? Okay. I'm officer Ligon Police Department. Just want to let you know you are being recorded. >> So, you know why I'm here? >> I do not actually. >> Okay. So, a gentleman came. He got those two dogs from you earlier. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Those dogs are not taken care of in any way. All right. >> Yeah. That's um that's Lyn. She's the >> owner of the rescue. >> So, how many other dogs do you have? >> Me? >> Yeah. Eight >> inside the house? >> Eight. >> Are they a part of the rescue? >> No. >> Okay. They're your dogs. >> Uh, majority of them are. Yes. Uh, there's one with another rescue and there's two with >> However, I still need to make sure obviously see them, make sure that they're all right, and then we can go from there. So, um, are will you allow me? Will you take me inside so I can see the dogs? >> I will happily bring them out to you. >> Okay. But I'm not going to have you go back in the house, right? So, it's it's either I I come in and see them or I go the search warrant route. You're not allowed back in your house until we find out whether I get that search warrant approved or not. >> Like, granted, like those dogs >> that the guy Andrew has, >> right? They were listed under Lynn's rescue. So, how does that >> They're in your care. Okay. So, the dogs in your care, you have other dogs in there that are under your care. All right. So, the only reason I'm here is to make sure that those dogs are okay. If I deem they're not okay, I'm going to ask if you are willing to turn those dogs over to me. All right? If you refuse to do so, again, I just have to apply for a search warrant. Right. Right. >> Um and that's only if I think that the dogs aren't being taken care of. And even if they if let's say Parvo ravished these dogs and it is what it is, it's understandable as if they look sickly, still going to ask if you are willing to turn those dogs over to me. All right? And then we'll go from there. Now, again, my goal isn't to jam you up. My goal is only to make sure that these dogs are in good health and being taken care of. Right. I can care less about everything else other than the fact that these dogs are taken care of. Right. >> Right. So, I'm not trying to scare you and do all this stuff and I'm throwing search warrant out there. And again, I don't care about any of that. My only goal is to see these dogs, make sure they're okay. If they're not, then we'll get them somewhere so they can get taken care of and make sure that they are okay, and then we'll go from there. All right. So, and like, do you live here? It's you and your husband and son. Okay. Anyone else live here? All right. Can you bring me inside to see the dogs? I don't care if your house is a mess, >> anything like that. >> Can I talk to you? >> What do you mean? >> Privately? Like, >> yeah, we can walk over here and they can hang out. >> The moment the woman hesitated to let officers in and admitted there were dead animals, they knew something was off. She asked to speak privately and confessed some of the dogs had died, clearly terrified of the legal consequences. Officers stayed calm, focusing on rescuing the animals rather than punishment, which encouraged her to cooperate. >> The whole like I I want to be honest with you, >> I've never I've never been in trouble. I've never been arrested. I don't want the rescue to go down. I don't want like to go to [ __ ] jail. >> So, >> there was I'm just saying with the whole Parvo thing like What happens? Like, >> so the dogs had parvo. I know what parvo is. Like I said, that he made, >> right? But what if what if let's say I wasn't able to remove it yet? >> So, one of them's dead in there and he didn't take it on again. We'll cross that path when we get there. If if that's the case, >> am I going to get ar like in trouble? >> So, you're going to get you're going to get in some trouble regardless. Am I taking you away in handcuffs and stuff? No. If you work with me, I'm not trying to embarrass you in front of your neighbors. I'm not trying to do this type of case or is it just the one dog, two dogs, three dogs that are dead? How many do you have dead in there? You don't know. Okay. So, >> is my husband going to get in trouble? >> So, let's let's do this, right? Cuz I I know they're in there. Will you consent? Can we get them out of there? Get them to where they need to go. I can make the phone calls and and we'll turn them over. the the dogs that are alive in this moment is for me to see the dogs, get them transported, get them surrendered so that there's a chance. >> It's just you, right? It's >> just me. I told him to stay here. >> You're probably going to freak my kid out. >> Um, >> but I don't think >> Okay, >> that was the one that left. That's the baby shepherd. She's sick. >> She's been sick. >> Okay, >> that Phillip is here. He's really friendly. >> AND WHAT ABOUT THESE? >> THERE'S ONE THERE, one there. >> Um, that's the other shepherd. That's familia. Then this is Nico. They're all friendly. They just might >> Are these Oh, the Disney. >> These two are. >> Okay. >> Okay. How many do we got here? >> One in each. >> Okay. flashlight. >> Chameleia, Mo. Um, they were Oh, there was like two or three in there that got really sick and then nobody saw anything left. >> How does a mother allow her family to live among 30 decomposing animal bodies? As the truth came out, she showed signs of panic, but not over her child's health or safety. Her biggest fear, [music] losing the animals she viewed as property. It wasn't guilt. It was possessiveness. >> All of that stuff is what she would talk to the animal control officer when they get here about, right? So, they obviously have to care for the animals. That's that's why we are taking them there. So, if that cat is on some special diet or whatever it may be, as long as Rebecca relays that to the animal control officer, then it all gets >> worried. I hope. >> I know. I use some more. >> I hope. >> Yeah, they'll be, like I said, they they can't do anything with them until my court case is until this whole thing >> behind me. Apparently, he went to the shop. Like I said, I knew it. And it's going to be filled with tile. But we're going to see how bad it is. Maybe if it's too much, I'll figure anything. >> So like, but I guess we'll just see. >> I was just seeing if it was an option. If it's not, I'll figure something else out. >> We'll just shop. That's what I'm construction. >> That's fine. Well, I'll figure something. >> I have a question. >> Uhhuh. >> With the only dog in there that is deemingly mine. >> Um, and I've had her since she was 6 weeks, like I said, and she she unfortunately did battle parvo. >> Um, I know you said that they have to hold them. >> Um, but medical wise, like I said, she she was vaccinated twice as a puppy, but she's not spayed. Is there a way to like not have that done or they just do that automatically? Like, how does that work? >> I'm going to be honest. >> I mean, because I don't care either way. I'm just trying to get an idea. I do not know. >> Um, but when Maryanne gets here, she's the animal control officer. You could ask her. She That's her field of expertise. That's all she is that he's going to >> the camera guy. >> Yeah, the camera guy. >> Sorry. >> It's not funny, but I have to find something. >> You can say yes at this one minute already. It is, right? >> No, I I only didn't say cuz it's my husband's dog. We're not worried about it. >> And she she's old and she's on her last leg. She's old. I mean, like, we're talking like 17 [ __ ] years old. >> At first, her mindset was all about damage control. She downplayed everything, claimed ignorance of shelter laws, yet clung tightly to the idea of keeping ownership of the animals as if they were things, not lives. Once reality sank in, denial gave way to despair. This is the worm. It's pretty much dead. >> He's alive apparently. >> Yeah, it's okay. >> This is the big guy. >> Hi, baby. >> And then these two are dead already. Decomposed. >> Hello. Hi, buddy. >> Hi, bud. He's back in the corner. >> Hi, buddy. How you doing? Huh? >> Hi, bud. You doing okay? Yeah. You're nice. Yeah. pulled the dogs out. Prosecutor told us to place you on arrest. >> All right. >> So, how does that work? >> What's that? >> So, how does that work? >> So, and again, I'm being super cool. >> I know. And I appreciate that. I thought I was from day one or from the time you came. >> That's why we're doing it this way. Usually, I would already have you in custody. We would talk about it after. Right. I going to place you down arrest. >> I'm not I'm not going to go anywhere. >> I don't don't believe you are. That's why we're having this conversation, right? cuz you >> I feel bad cuz I didn't think this was going to go over to my car. >> Can I finish my cigarette? I'm not going to go anywhere. >> Finish it while we walk over to the car. >> Oh, all right. Um, >> you don't need any of that. >> No, no, no, no, no. Um, I'm just thinking um would I So, it'll be like an overnight thing. >> It could be. What? As it goes on and we know what's happening, we'll let you know. Let's walk over to the car. >> All right. Can I just place this down? And is it okay to keep my phone on this way? I have it. >> Wait, we'll take it. >> I know that, but I meant like so like afterwards when all that happens like >> Let's walk over there. >> All right. >> Where your son can't see? >> Yeah, please. >> In case he's looking out a window. >> Uh, he shouldn't be, but >> we'll go. Uh, >> he should be >> stand right here for right now. >> Just face the car. Then actually grab your phone for me now so I don't have to. >> Can I power it off? >> Yeah. Yeah. Whatever you want to do and it'll come with us. >> Yeah. >> All right. >> Yeah. >> I'm going to I'm going to cry like a baby. So I can have paper towels or something to wipe my face after. >> Yeah. Once we get back. Yeah. Okay. >> It's not as It's not as scary as you think it is. >> Well, no. I've never I've never been in trouble. I just >> Okay. >> It's not as scary as you think it is. >> Police handled it all with quiet professionalism and compassion, calmly explaining the arrest, giving [music] her a moment to smoke and tissues to wipe her tears. Most importantly, they made sure her son didn't witness his mother being handcuffed. That single act said everything. Child welfare came first. Unfortunately. Does he have somebody he can stay with your son? >> My Yeah. My best friend, which is her cousin here next door. >> Okay. U because they do want me to face you under arrest as well for charges. Yeah. >> For what? >> For animal cruelty towards the animals. Now again, just cuz you're getting charged with it doesn't mean you're guilty. But at this moment, you you are going to be placed under arrest, taken back to the station, interview, processed, and from there either released or not. >> See if he's home yet, cuz that's why we're still here. I was just waiting for him to get home. >> Can he watch until he gets home? >> I I just want to get the situation and then just call my father real quick and just let him know everything. >> Well, you can't call him unless he's getting your son. We'll let you call dad back at the station, but Carlos 139's coming. >> Yep. >> Which way is more comfortable for you, man? Your arm like this or your arm like that? >> Uh, probably inward. >> Okay. >> Like that? >> Yeah. We'll walk you over to the car over this way. We're going to wait. Someone else is going to transport you. I'm just going to pull you out of the eyesight of uh of your buddy there and then we'll go from there. >> Anything on here that's going to put me stick me or anything like that? >> Uh no. I have a lollipop in my back. >> Yeah. No, just like like no needles, knives. I know you work with tile and stuff. All right. In the end, both parents were arrested and charged with animal cruelty and endangering the welfare of a child. The charges stemmed from allowing a 9-year-old to live in squalor, surrounded by dead dogs, and neglected malnourished animals. In New Jersey, these offenses can lead to jail time, hefty fines, and a permanent ban on owning animals. On March 25th, 2024, at the airport, a woman, clearly drunk, was causing a scene and refused to leave after being kicked off her Southwest flight. Things got so tense the police had to step in. But once they arrived, this turned into way more than a simple case of [music] disorderly conduct. >> I can't. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Okay. She can't be revoked. Travis, she started getting hot. Yeah. >> Push me out cuz you're all racist. Get me the out of here. >> Where would you like to go? >> Anywhere. >> You want to go to a taxi? >> No, I'm going to sit outside. >> I'm going to go. Y racist. Y don't like black people. >> All right. Well, we're going to go outside. >> Bye. >> Is it locked? >> Unlock. >> Okay. Okay. What's your first name? >> I don't know. >> Racist. >> Okay. Well, we just met, so >> yeah, I don't know you. >> I know. So, how you how you going to say I'm racist? >> But you're a racist. >> How? >> And you don't like black people. You only write like Puerto Rican. >> Get the out. >> Well, we're going outside here. >> Yeah. Bye. >> And then we're going to talk and then I tell you the problem. >> I'm not talking to you. >> Well, the problem is you can't be here intoxicated. >> Well, bye. I'm not intoxicated. >> That's what you think. >> Okay. >> Y'all want to lock me up? >> No. Really? Honestly, don't want to. >> We don't want to. We're here. >> Guess what? I meant locked up before. >> No, we don't want to lock you up. >> Get the away from me. Like, bye. You're racist. You're white. >> Not you. >> Okay. >> Bye. >> No. That's how this works. >> So, how about you and I talk? HOW DO YOU >> I'M NOT TALKING to you. >> No, hold on. >> You're on his side. Not really. >> I'm not going nowhere. I will go until I find my flight. I paid $400. >> 354. I know that's a lot of money. >> And none of y'all ain't going to reimburse me. >> Well, they reimbured this [ __ ] >> She accused the two officers and a black flight attendant of racism. Honestly, it was hard to take that claim seriously. Even in her agitated state, she kept bringing up the cost of her ticket, which showed she still grasped her personal losses. But her refusal to consider any solution spoke volumes. This wasn't just frustration. [music] It was pure stubbornness. >> I don't have a ride. >> Okay. Do you have Uber or Lift >> or a taxi? >> You want lock me up? >> Lock me up. >> Why? >> Cuz that's what you want to do. >> No, we really don't. >> Lock, sweetheart. >> No. Don't take after me cuz you already know what I'm dealing with. I'm a black me. >> I don't want to get in my hand. >> I remember. >> This is your refund from Southwest. Okay. >> I'm not picking it up. The yolk is standing around me without yelling. >> Where you from? >> Where you from? >> I'm from where it ain't racist. >> Oh, what's your name? >> I'm from where? Philly. >> Oh, Philly. >> Where? Where? Philly. Cops. Don't with people. >> What's your sister's first name? >> I don't know. Focus. >> Take me home. >> WHERE? I CAN GO to the police when the cops don't give a about us. >> Can let's Okay, IT'S OFFICER. >> WELL, LOCK ME UP. >> We don't want to lock you up. Can you just stop screaming? >> Let's Let's Hold on. >> All right. Just Just stop. >> You want to bother with her? >> Cuz I know what y'all want to do. >> Your sister's asking if you want to go home. >> I lock me up. Yeah. And and and and embarrassing. >> Lock me up. Lock me up. >> Lock me up. >> She your man. You can't do it. >> Okay. >> Lock me. >> The woman tried to take control by provoking the officers, throwing out sexist comments and practically daring them to arrest her. It felt calculated, like she wanted to push things so far they'd be forced to use force so she could flip the script and play the victim. Sister, they locked me up and I probably >> Can you sit back down on the wheelchair for right now? >> You got me so tight. >> Okay, >> [ __ ] >> You're right here. You're good. >> No, I got my fingers right there. >> I'm not good. >> Her >> good. That's not good. >> You're good right there. Look, if I can put >> me up. All right, come sit. >> I know I can't cuz my hands hurt. >> How did I always? >> Yeah. Lock me up in my bag. >> Oh, you can't. Oh, I forgot. I'm in a white. >> I'm in a white neighborhood. >> Yeah, I'm sorry, kids. Yeah, y'all see people get locked up. This what happened to black people. He's 138 on route >> cuz that's what happens when you uh when you're black I'm not even in front of this face then you just lose it. You don't want to. >> I told you I will. >> That's all right. It's okay. Thank you. Thanks. >> Yeah, WE HAVE TO. FOR WHAT? I DON'T KNOW. >> When you go to Right. But when you go to jail, they have to do an inventory. It's procedure. >> Oh, well, yeah. I hope y'all check my spike drugs in here. And I hope y'all dig all in it. All in it. And I hope you get a good deal. Well, I just need my phone. You can call my sister. I don't need a phone to do that. I had blood thinners and I am on blood life and if I don't take it I will die. >> Okay, they go with you. >> Yeah, ho, I don't get I don't think y'all white people care [ __ ] I die. >> At some point it became clear she actually wanted to go to jail. Maybe to save on a hotel. Once the cuffs were on, her attitude turned into a chaotic mix of defiance and desperation. Even while restrained, she kept complaining about the handcuffs and ranting, often slipping into racial slurs. >> Uh, >> no, you might want those. >> I want my >> Put your shoes on. >> I don't care. I need my blood. >> They're coming with >> I'm going to die. >> Okay, here. You want to go to that car? >> All right. You better. >> No, I need my blood. >> All right. I'm talking about the cuffs. She got down here. >> I don't give a >> Swear to God. I So I really >> Put your sandals on. >> Hold up. Hold up. Hold up. Take hold up. Take this off. >> I can't take it off. >> Okay. Well, rip it off. >> Put your sandals off. >> I'm not taking it off until you take this [ __ ] off. I need my die. >> I don't know what you talking about, [ __ ] >> Okay, you racer. >> Yeah, take it off. Take, >> sir. Rip it off. >> I don't rip it off. >> I don't care. Listen. Take my blood. Take this off. >> If it is that a wig, she talking about a prescription. >> TAKE IT OFF. COME. >> Take your wig off. >> Yes. >> Why do you want your wig off? >> Cuz the mother I got my um >> on the floor. >> Okay. Get in the car. >> I think it might other [ __ ] Yeah. They got they got >> and if something said we're not we can't do mixed pills. >> All right, let's get you sitting up. [screaming] By the end, she was completely drained physically and emotionally, fading in and out of awareness, she finally showed a flicker of real concern. Her nephew, it was the first time she seemed to truly grasp the weight of what was coming. A rare raw moment of vulnerability and maybe the last trace of her better self. >> Can you hear me? >> Yeah. >> Are you okay? >> Yeah. Yeah, >> she's okay. She's okay. Never mind. >> I'm sorry. >> Oh [ __ ] Why am I >> God dang >> Want to make sure you're okay. Your phone is here. Okay. >> Okay. Thank you. >> I can't get them my They got me handcuffed. >> I know it's procedure, man. Once you get to >> Well, I can't get off. Sir, >> I'm not a sir. I'm a ma'am. >> Ma'am, can you help me get this [ __ ] off? >> Yeah, soon. >> God damn. I can't >> get off. Oh my god. I can't. >> Okay. Come on. >> Take it off. >> You can't take it off right now. Oh my. >> What? >> You got to come out and go inside so they can take it off. >> I'm I'm in jail. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Oh [ __ ] Kayen, we in jail this way. >> Kayen. Kayen. My grandson's right here. Kayen, >> no. Stop. Stop. No. >> I'm trying to help you out. All right. >> No. I know. STOP. >> Come on out. >> Oh my god. >> All right, man. You ready? We're going to get you inside. Okay. >> Where? My grandson. >> All right. Come on. So, we can figure that out. Let's >> No, stop. You heard me. >> I'm not really doing anything. Yes, you really are. But go ahead and stand up. >> Whoa. Stop. >> Stand up for me. I'm helping you. Here we go. It's going to be a little uncomfortable. Oh yeah. >> Here we go. Ready? >> There we go. >> In the end, she was booked into jail. She now faces charges like disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and resisting law enforcement. Penalties could range from a few hundred to several thousand in fines, and jail time from a few months to a year, depending on her record and how the court sees it.
