The sooner you let me do my job, the sooner I can get you out of here. >> So, I can't sit in my car. >> No, once I go back and confirm everything's good with you, then I will let you go back in your car depending on what I find. All right. Like I said, just let me do my job so I can get you out of here. Aisha, do you have a medical marijuana card? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> I have a phone. >> But do you have every >> This is what I'm talking about. It's going to take longer the longer you don't answer. Check my car. >> Check Check it for marijuana. Make sure there's nothing. >> I smell that marijuana. >> You just said you smoked last night. >> I didn't say I smoked last night. I thought I switched my cart for last. >> Okay. Instead of following simple requests, the woman chose to confront the officers, refusing paperwork and questioning their authority. Things quickly spiraled when the smell of marijuana became obvious and she tried blocking the search. From there, everything slipped out of her control. >> Am I going to find any? >> I just said there's no marijuana. I'm going to >> You're good. You can wait right here. >> Wait. >> I'm going to get my purse. I'm getting my purse. >> Put it back in there. I don't want >> There's nothing I don't want you going in my purse. I'm putting it up. >> I'm putting it up. >> I'm putting my phone up. >> Get the phone. >> Let my phone go. >> You're going to be arrested for your phone. >> You cannot make any calls while you're in custody. >> Put it in my pocket. >> I'm going to give it to this officer right now. I'll put it in the >> Put it in your purse. That's fine. What the >> You cannot make any calls when you're in protective custody. Do you understand that? Cuz I can't have you making phone calls to call the people here. >> Okay. >> Just listen to what we're saying. That's that's all you have to All you have to do is listen to what we're saying. That's it. >> And then you wouldn't be in >> for no reason. It don't smell like marijuana. >> You're just making up stuff to search in my car. >> What did I make up that that your car is being >> My car does not smell like marijuana. He making that up. Reaching for her wallet at that moment wasn't just disobeying orders. It exposed her instability. Inside that wallet could have been evidence or cash she was desperate to hide. But once her true identity was confirmed, her state of mind collapsed completely. >> I'm not doing nothing. >> Okay. >> Search for my car for no reason. There's no marijuana in my car. [Music] >> What's your first name? Is that >> or is her name Ashley? because you're saying your wallet and magically I find an ID that says Ashley on there. Ashley, what's going on? I I'm just trying to get you on your way here and you're lying to me at every step of the way. >> Go and put her in the doctor. >> Okay. >> Please, it's my son birthday party. Please, >> Ashley. I tried to work with you and you you obstructed me at every step of the way. >> I'm going to miss my son birthday party. >> No, you cannot. >> Oh my god. Please. I'm going to miss my son birthday party. >> I don't have anything on me. I got smoke >> and I told my mom. >> My son birthday party is today. >> Yeah. Go in the back seat. >> Follow my mom. >> We'll get to that. >> She's offending me. >> Part of me. Can you be honest with me? I would like to talk. >> Okay. >> I pat her down. >> I just paid her pockets. >> This doesn't work. >> Okay, let's try this again. >> You said you're going to be honest with me, right? >> Okay. >> What's your first name? Okay. All right, Ashley. >> At this point in time, >> call my mom. We're going to be late for the party. Listen, >> you are going to be under arrest for >> I'm going to miss my son. >> False information to me. >> Call my mom. >> Okay. So, we'll get to that. But right now, you're under arrest. >> Okay. Can I get my phone? >> Bravo 17. >> So, I'm just going to not show up for my son party. >> Yes, you're being arrested. >> Rather than face reality, she likely planned to tell her son some excuse for missing his birthday. Handcuffed and loaded into the patrol car, she kept denying responsibility, firing questions at the officers as if none of this came from her own actions. >> Bravo Bravo 17. >> Please, can I please tell my mom right now? >> I'm going to miss my son party. >> Okay. >> Why Why would you lie to us at the beginning? Like, why why lie to us about who you are? >> Bravo 17 taking primary. >> Oh my god. Can you please get my phone so I can call my mom? >> You cannot make any phone calls right now. >> How long would this What am I going to >> It's going to be as long as it takes to get this done. >> Where am I getting? >> I still don't understand why you would lie to us about who you are and what your name is. >> You do know that that that's illegal, right? >> And that's an arrestable offense. >> Oh my god. I needed my phone. >> You cannot make any phone calls right now. I told you that. >> I need to let my mom know I'm not coming to the park. >> I'm telling you, you are not making any phone calls right now. >> So why can't I get my phone to call my mom? >> Cuz you're you're being detained right now. You can't make any phone calls to anybody. That's the whole issue that I personally had with you when you bought your phone out when we had you in cuffs is because you can't make any phone calls cuz we don't need you call anyone for have any family or friends to come in. >> My son's birthday party. >> You have to call her right now. You could be late. >> The party is about to start in 30 minutes. I was on my way leaving work. >> All right. Well, when we get situated, if he wants to let you call your mom, then he'll let you call your mom. I want to see what he going through while he's looking through my stuff. >> You better stay seated. Okay. >> What is he going through? Why can't I see what he looking through? >> Because you're being detained right now. So, you don't >> Okay, but he's going through my stuff. >> Yeah, he's he's searching for marijuana. >> There's no marijuana in there. I don't know. >> What was it? >> The truth finally came out. She had lied because her license was suspended. A serious offense uncovered during what seemed like a routine stop. When exposed, she only admitted it reluctantly, not out of remorse, but because there was no way out. >> She's five. >> Can I call my mom? >> Not right now. >> I'm going to miss my son birthday party. >> I'm sorry. >> I'm going to miss my son birthday. >> I understand, but we're talking about this right now. That's >> okay. >> Okay. Okay. So, do you want to talk to me about the lying to me about your ID and all that stuff so we can work this out? >> So, obviously you knew you were suspended because >> why you gave me false info. Why did you get >> I know nothing. >> Okay. Well, you are suspended and there's really no other reason to lie to me. >> What What was your reasoning for lying to me about who you were? >> I don't know. >> You don't know? Did you know you were suspended? >> No. >> Uh, I mean, I guess there's nothing really for to ask you, >> you know. So, we're going to have a female come here and patch you down and then >> you just patted me. >> A female's going to search your search you personally. >> So, we got to wait for that. >> So, can I call my mom taking it to the corner? >> After she gets searched, I'll just bring her back to 19 if you want. Oh, that'd be perfect. >> What about my stuff? >> And uh Well, your car is going to get towed. >> What about my purse? >> Your purse >> with all my stuff. >> I I'll bring your purse. >> I need to call my phone. My mom. >> I'm going to bring your phone. I'm going to bring your ID. >> I need the whole purse. >> And I'll Well, I'm just going to bring your little wallet thing. >> I need my whole purse. >> There's way too much stuff in there. I'm not bringing that to jail when you walk in here. >> It's going to be in the car. So, whenever you get the car back. In the end, the woman was taken to jail and charged with providing false information, resisting without violence, and knowingly driving on a suspended license. If convicted, she faces fines from $200 to $1,000, her license suspension extended, and a son left to grow up with a mother who refuses accountability. A birthday without his mom is just the first crack. Behind closed doors, harsher truths are waiting to surface. An urgent call from the parents of two young girls brought police racing to the scene. In a state of panic, the girls reported that their friend's mother had acted inappropriately, forcing them to lock themselves in a bathroom to protect themselves. What really happened that night? >> Come on. You have nothing to be sorry about. >> Ma'am, you might as well leave him in there. I can't talk to them. >> Oh, okay. >> I got to talk to you. I can't. >> Okay. Okay. But you see how clearly it >> Yeah, I do. Walton County protocol doesn't allow me to speak to the victims. I wanted you to see like this is not >> so so who's who here? Obviously they're >> I don't know who who >> Well, no. I mean who's who? Explain. I don't know y'all. So explain to me. >> Okay. >> All right. So both of these are your daughters. So start from from start to finish. Tell me what happened. >> Okay. So they were actually supposed to be picked up, which is not his fault, but he they called him and said they wanted to spend the night. And so we thought they were home. >> I'm good here. Can you make contact with those folks? >> And um we just got woke up in the middle of the night. They called Carter to come get him like this, hysterical. And I got on the phone and she was just like, "Come get me. Come get me. Come get me. I'm scared." Which is so unlike her. And I said, "What happened? Has someone hurt you?" >> Hey, Loganville PD. >> Yeah. >> Yes. Can I speak with the homeowner? >> Oh, I am. >> All right. Can you step outside and talk to us for a second? >> Yeah. >> And she's like, "Yes. I don't want to talk about it cuz I don't want to get them in trouble." I said, "I need to know." I said, "Calm down and tell me." And she I said, "Did someone touch you?" Yes. >> You don't know the people? You don't know them at all? >> I don't. You have you ever met them? >> Never. And um so they were here at a party, right? It was a birthday party. >> They were here. I thought it was a party. >> Okay. They were here at a party. Um >> did y'all know they were here? >> I knew they were here. Yeah. Yeah, we knew they were here. We have GPS and stuff, but um so anyway, that's kind of where we're at. >> Now elaborate on the They're saying that they were touched. So, what >> we got a we got a pretty serious call that uh >> two young girls were touched appropriately and they they were running out here by a female that lives here. Maybe your wife. Do you have a wife here with you? >> Yeah. Yes. >> Do you know where she is? >> No. >> Yeah. There's two there. Their mother and father and brother are here. They're crying hysterically in the back of a car. By using a casual get together as cover, the suspect created a false sense of safety. So, the two girls would drop their guard. Waiting until everyone was asleep shows intent. Strange questions and unsettling behavior became her way of probing, testing weaknesses she could exploit to control her victims. >> So, they're saying that the kid's mom >> Yes. >> And this is a female. >> Who's the mom? Do you know her name? >> Melissa. >> Melissa. It happened to both of you guys. She said she started kissing, put her hand up her shirt. She didn't know what to do. So that's >> Okay. >> Did you know there's two here sleeping over or? >> Yes, there's more than one. >> Yeah, there's two in that car. >> Do you have daughters as well? I'm just trying to trying to piece everything together. >> I >> He's trying to call her. She's >> I just tried to call her. I don't know. I mean, >> so who is she to you, man? >> She's my She's my wife. >> She Okay. So, they said that she may be on the back porch, but she's not back there now. So, is she sleeping somewhere inside the house? >> No, not that I know of. I I mean, he just woke me up out of bed. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> I would The It's like 4:00 in the morning, man. >> Yeah. What? What the was was it just one of them that got >> the hand up the shirt or was it >> I don't know what she said, but the girl on the left, Gracie, she said Sophie said that Gracie got touched. I don't She didn't say what that was, but she did say. So, at this point, one of the things that I would like to know, if you catch my drift, >> yes, what I'm trying to figure out is >> exactly who got to and exactly to what extent. >> We need to try to figure out where your wife is cuz that's who we really need to talk to. >> Um, I wanted to make sure she's okay because you don't even know where she's at. >> No, I don't. I went to bed over an hour ago. They were on the back porch sitting outside talking and laughing together. >> Can you mind if he goes in with you? >> No. No. That's your wife? >> Yeah. >> LT, she's in here sleeping on the couch. >> Come here. >> She's in here sleeping on the couch. Ma'am, can you get up for me? Is PD Officer Shay? >> What the [ __ ] >> Harry, what's going on? >> I don't know. I'm about to find out. But they want to talk to you. I don't know. I was asleep. They just knocked on the door. >> Why are you asking me? We You're about to go find out. >> What the What do you want to do? >> Just come come follow me to the front door. This is not >> The husband seemed completely unaware of his wife's actions. Maybe Melissa hid it well. Or maybe it exposed cracks in the marriage itself. When officers woke her, she appeared flustered and immediately refused to cooperate. >> Exactly where in the house this took place? >> I can now. >> Okay. And then the other thing, do we know are there other girls in the house that belong to other parents? And if so, that's another concern of ours. We need >> All right, ma'am. So, we got a phone call that two girls were appropriately. They were screaming and they ran out into the front yard and hopped into that car over there. >> Two of your daughter's friends. Can you tell me what happened tonight? >> No, I am a nurse. I don't I don't even know. Come on. Ma'am, >> no. You don't. >> Ma'am, we need to figure out what's going on. >> Me without No. >> Without what? Ma'am, there's a serious allegation going on. There's two girls crying. >> Ma'am, quiet. Quiet. >> You tell me what the [ __ ] >> Ma'am, don't you yell at me. >> One of y'all go ahead and come in here. Ma'am, get over here. I'm not playing with you. I'm not playing with you either. >> Go back to the >> Tommy. Ma'am, no. >> Ma'am. Ma'am, >> ma'am. Quit. >> I don't even have a nurse. >> Like, Tommy, who is >> Ma'am, put your hand. Stop fighting me. >> Stop. Stop. >> Stop. >> Stop. >> Stop. >> Just chill out. >> Stop. Lissa, stop. >> Please give me the phone. >> I am a nurse. Thank you. I don't care what you do for a living. >> What are you doing? >> You got to >> I don't know. I don't know what's going on. I'm a nurse. >> Calm down. >> If you away again, you're going straight to the floor. You understand? [ __ ] >> What are you doing? I'm >> going to find out. >> What are you doing? >> Oh, you [ __ ] you. >> I am a nerd. >> Why you look at me and say that? >> Y'all go back over there, please. Melissa, >> what have I done? I haven't done anything. >> Let's take her out here. >> Her combative, uncooperative attitude was a major red flag, suggesting she had something to hide. She repeatedly leaned on her nurse profession, perhaps to impress or manipulate. while her husband could only show helplessness and disappointment. [Music] >> Get me out of this. >> Are there other >> Get me out of this. No, >> ma'am. >> I am a nurse. Like, give me Why am I doing this? >> Start walking. >> Stop. >> Start walking. >> Talk to me. >> Are there other people that don't belong in this house? ing other friends who came to spend the night. >> It's just y'all. Go on. >> Who are you right now? What did I do? I didn't do anything. I am a nurse. >> Did they explain to you what was what's going on so far? >> Not in any great detail. >> All right. Here's what I'm going to tell you. Hey, some I'll talk to you in a minute. Look, >> listen. >> Grab the dog. Get a leash. Grab the dog. Can you help me with this? >> Somebody grab the dog and I'll explain to both of you what's going on. But don't lose your >> I have nothing. I didn't do anything. >> Okay. >> Well, you're going to sit now. Yes, you are. >> Why? Why did I do anything? I was just asleep. >> Sit down, >> ma'am. Sit in the car and quit being stupid. >> All right. [ __ ] you. Like, >> yeah, whatever. So, have they been able to explain to y'all really what happened? >> They just told me that she was giving them alcohol and cigarettes. >> Okay. >> So, and she just kept steadily giving 56. >> Oh, absolutely. >> She just kept steadily feeding it to them. That's what she said. That's all they say. It takes like 5 minutes to get something out. >> Okay. Okay. I know you're pissed off. If that was my kids, I'd be the same [ __ ] way you are. But please don't do anything to get yourself in trouble. Okay. let us do our job. As far as what's going to happen, as far as their claims, we have to let our detectives know. >> She said they got here and they gave um they gave the stepdad $40 >> and he for what? >> Alcohol. So he then went to the liquor store. >> The kids did. >> Yes. >> Okay. >> He went to the liquor store and got them alcohol. >> So apparently they had been drinking. The mom had been drinking. Everybody had been drinking. >> She said the other girls went to bed and the two of them stayed up cuz they are late night girls. They stayed up and the stepdad and the mom were in the living room. >> Okay. >> When stepdad went to bed, she said that's when the Melissa lady started asking them, "Did you like girls? Have you ever had sex with a girl been with a girl?" >> Then started kissing Gracie and touching her. Guess Gracie was resisting as she was touching here. >> And I guess once that didn't go well, >> even though he wasn't the main suspect in the assault, the stepfather committed a separate crime, supplying alcohol to minors. Under Georgia law, this is known as contributing to the delinquency of a minor, backed up by both victim testimony and his own admission. >> Be getting uh a report from these young girls that when they got here, they gave you $40 to go to the liquor store and get some liquor for him. >> My from this my middle daughter was having a get together. >> Uh-huh. >> And I went to the store. >> Mhm. >> And >> So, you did in fact purchase alcohol for him? >> I'm not going to lie to you. >> Okay. All right. And and it was it wasn't just >> Are you aware that that's illegal in the state of Georgia? It's called contributing to delinquency of a minor. Yeah. >> And we were having a little get together. It wasn't just for them. I don't drink. >> Okay. >> So, >> but your wife obviously does >> obviously. >> Yeah. Okay. Was she aware that they >> But I mean >> they were all Were they all drink? Was everybody drinking together >> like with your wife? >> 8:30. >> Okay. But your wife was present with them while they were all drinking. But some things took place at this house tonight, or at least or allegedly took place at this house tonight, and I'm not going to leave a gaggle of teenage girls in this house for the night. Okay. Um, the allegations weren't made against you. However, they were made against your wife. Okay. Inappropriate like >> Yeah. So, that's about as far in detail as I'm going to go. Where you went a foul was going to get alcohol for these girls and allowing them to drink in your home. That's where you committed a crime. >> I don't give two crap about what you do. >> Shut the [ __ ] up. I have done nothing wrong. >> She's so pleasant. >> Get this off my now. >> That ain't how it works. Ain't you never watch a cop movie? >> She needs to get shut. >> She does. You're exactly right. She does. But what she's gonna have to end up doing is talking to an investigator just like you're going to end up having to talk to an investigator. >> Can I ask you a question though? Where are you a nurse at? >> Okay, that's one that I won't will not be going to. Hey, Stammy. >> If we ever get shot, do not go to Guette Medical. >> I'd be pretty pissed off, too. >> I am as well. >> I know. And I'm not saying them to be pissed off at me. I enjoyed having their company. >> I'm not saying it's your fault. and make sure that they're okay. >> In the end, the woman was taken to jail and charged with sexual assault and obstructing a law enforcement officer. If convicted, she could face lengthy prison time and other severe legal consequences, along with the permanent stain on her reputation in the eyes of everyone around her. From the shock of being exposed in her own home to her third drunk driving arrest, the brutal weight of reality came crashing down. On May 4th, 2024, police responded to a report of a hit and run. When they finally stopped the suspected vehicle, they found a woman behind the wheel, drunk and with a criminal record. What began as a serious traffic violation quickly spiraled into a shocking investigation. Still rolling. Westbound. [Music] Speed's 30. light. >> Hey, put your car in park. Turn your car off for me. Yeah. >> Give me the keys. >> What are you doing? You're all over the road. >> I am heading down. >> You're what? >> Heading out. >> Okay. Well, I'm officer targets with League City. Somebody called in about They gave you a plate, said you hit their car and you didn't stop. >> Were you in an accident? Uh, no. >> Next thing I know, my car bumped up and I was like, >> "That ain't right." >> I was like, "What?" I looked in my rearview mirror and she was just sitting in a car with her head hanging down and I thought, >> "That's weird." >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Thought that was weird. >> Do you have your ID on you somewhere? Amanda? >> Yes. >> Okay. Amanda, where are you coming from today? >> I'm coming from uh TJ Maxx. >> TJ Maxx. Okay. Which one? >> Uh, I've had 96. >> 96. >> Okay. >> In what city? >> Uh, um, at the stoplight, right? I think she was sitting there, too, cuz there was cars behind her. >> So, you say the stoplight it. Can you tell you what? I'm going to pull it up on on my my map so I can just so I know exactly what you're talking about. >> And you said from what store? TJ Maxx. >> TJ Maxx. Okay. Did you uh did you drive from your house to there? >> Yes. >> Okay. Where are you headed right now? >> To my house. >> To your house. Do you know what city you're in right now? >> Lake City. >> Lake City. >> From the very first contact, the signs of intoxication were written all over her. Glassy eyes, slurred speech, confused body language. Yet, she stayed calm, firmly denying she had caused the crash. almost as if she believed she could beat the charges or rely on past run-ins with the law. >> A breakout. >> Okay. >> Do you know what day it is? >> Yes. >> What day is it? >> It's uh February. It's uh May. >> May. Are you currently taking any kind of medications? >> No. >> Do you have any kind of medical issues? >> No. >> Diabetes, seizures? >> I work at uh the Crossings. >> The Crossings. Okay. Have you eaten anything recently? >> Uh, no. No. >> When was the last time you ate something? >> Uh, this morning. >> This morning. What did you have? I had uh scrambled eggs and uh uh [Music] >> toast want a drink today. >> No, >> you don't have anything to drink. So that person reported that you hit him, right? >> So I cross over and I'm driving driving. I passed the grocery stores or whatever that is. Shopping area. >> Yeah. >> And then she finally went, but when she did, she started hauling butt, man. >> I have five um uh family um and he comes to my house. He just got kicked out. Okay. What does that have to do with Are you saying that's what caused you to drink today? [Music] >> Her story kept shifting. Times and locations never lined up. It was a textbook sign of impairment. The inability to keep her lies straight. The more she talked, the more her explanations drifted into nonsense. Even when faced with evidence of reckless driving, she clung to denials and illogical excuses. >> You're driving in the middle of lanes. You hit a car and you didn't notice. We drove for probably a mile before you came to a stop in the middle of the road here. >> Even though I had my I had my sirens and lights >> a car >> on 270 somewhere. >> I didn't I didn't hit a car cuz I was just like she >> Yeah, >> she just hit me and she just sitting in the car and I was looking at her in my rearview mirror and I'm like, "What are what? You just bump my car up, man. You're just sitting there and then she put her head down. I thought she's texting, you know." But then when she started everybody else, huh? I thought, man, >> why did you drive for probably almost a mile, if not more, when my lights and sirens were on? >> Why did you pull over? >> I I did as soon as I could because I was turning to get home. >> So, if we if if you get pulled over, which side do you normally pull to? >> This to the left. >> You pull it to the left. You're supposed to pull it to the right. Was she staying in the lane going >> back and forth in it or she was crossing the lines? >> She went from all >> cross Oh, crossing the lines and everything. >> She was in the shoulder and then she go all the way into the turning lane and then pass the turning lane into common traffic a little bit and back over here, but she was going really fast and there's >> What I like to do is run you through a few tests to make sure that you're safe to drive and and not intoxicated like you're saying. Is that okay with you? >> Yeah. All right. I have a job. >> You have a job? >> To your left. So, you're saying you had no alcohol whatsoever to drink? >> I know. Uh my ex-boyfriend come over and he wanted to uh I moved over into the turning lane and she was swerving over and I thought she's going to hit me anyway, >> but she didn't. And she swerved back over and once she went through that lot, then I got back. When confronted head-on with proof of her dangerous driving, denial became her shield. Twisting reality was less about strategy and more about protecting her fragile ego. At last, she reluctantly agreed to a field sobriety test. You're doing good. Just hang in there for me. Yeah. [ __ ] turn over here and face the truck. There you go. So, what I want you to do is put your right foot in front of your left with the heel of your right foot touching the toe of your left foot. >> My right foot >> in front of your left foot with the heel of your right foot touching the toe. Do you understand the instructions? >> Yes. >> Okay. Just make sure you keep your arms down at your side. You're looking at your toes. You're counting aloud. And you're remaining on that straight imaginary line. So you can begin when you're ready. [Music] [Music] And she'd go all the way from the shoulder where the grass was all the way into the oncoming lane. It's just all over. [Music] But she couldn't complete even the simplest walk and turn. It wasn't deception anymore. It was pure incapacity. Her words kept flowing. Maybe to comfort herself, maybe to distract from her obvious failure. Okay. >> So, when we got up to uh like the Kroger's >> and then corners Yeah. Mhm. So, exactly what you're talking about. >> That's That's where I turned right, but she got in the turning lane. I'm surprised she >> You turn right to come back here. She turned left. Face that house for me. Put your hands behind your back. >> Put your palms together like you're playing. There you go. All right, man. Right now, you're being placed under arrest for drive while intoxicated. Okay. I got you in the train. I'll do the crash report. Appreciate it. >> All right, we're going to go to this. >> Yeah, this car. >> You can make a phone call later. Give me >> just a minute. We'll get going. Okay. like my job. >> Am I bonded out? >> You can bond out. Have you ever been arrested for a uh driving while intoxicated charge? >> Huh? >> Have you ever been arrested for driving while intoxicated? >> Um, is that a DW DWI? >> Yeah. >> Yes. This is my third one. >> Your third one? Okay. My parents will be uh >> 129. >> In the end, she was charged with DUI. Because this was her third offense, the consequences escalated. This time, potentially a felony. The punishment could mean prison time, heavy fines, and the permanent loss of her driver's license. The brutal truth doesn't stop at drunk driving. This was a desperate mother who would later use her own child as a human shield. A complicated case unfolded on July 27th, 2023. A man refused to leave a house even after being evicted, repeatedly arguing and dialing 911. Tension exploded when he grabbed his young son, using the boy as a shield to stop officers from making the arrest. But where did this reckless move lead? >> I called. >> Okay. What's your name, sir? >> My name is T A W. >> Okay. to talk to the landlord and find out for the county. >> Yeah, >> I paid my rent all the way to September. >> Okay. >> He trying to kick me out. They told me to go down go downtown to talk to the to the uh clerk of court. >> Yeah. >> So, you need to talk to him. So, he to harass me and I don't pay my rent. >> When do you know when they serve that? >> I don't know. Today was eviction day. They called me up, set up an appointment. >> Okay. >> And uh if you need a case number, I got that. >> Did they come out? Yeah, it was like 4. >> No, no, no. Today. Did they come out today? >> They were out here about a half hour ago. I told >> And they posted the notice on the door which he dropped off. >> They told me to go downtown for legal aid to file charis burglaries to my house. >> My car up the cops came. No, no, no. >> Coming to tow your cars away, too. >> Okay. I don't talk to the police. What ass? Don't get in trouble. >> You see what he doing? >> Have you got a place? I don't want to talk. >> Have you got a place to take them? Because I will have them to >> Hey, give me a second. Parking. >> You take this off the door. >> One of them put it on there. I don't know who put it on there. >> Well, this to the cops. I just left 30 minutes ago. I talked to the cops. I left. Came back. They went in my all my I don't know. I just left. supervised by the sheriff's department. >> Right. I just That's I'm having whoever was out here. >> Yes, sir. >> Apparently, the county didn't do a good job explaining their eviction. >> Who was evicted >> to one? I don't know. You walked down that way. He's collecting the trash. That's your dad, right? No. >> Dad. >> Stepdad. Okay. All right. We're just going to hang out for a little bit until the deputies that were out here come back. Okay. Were you here for that? Were you here for that? All right, sir. Sir. Hey. So, I I talked to the deputies. Okay. So, this is this has been a process. They told me that they talked to you about this prior to it. So, you've been to court, right? >> I ain't been to court. I don't know what's going on. >> You've been to a hearing? >> No. >> Okay. Well, I know that's okay. I know that's not true. You had to have gone through the process, right? You reserved a 5-day notice. You reserved that. The deputies came out. They advised you. >> I talked to them >> and I know and then you left, right? So now the eviction's complete. Okay. You are not allowed to go back into that house. Okay. There's a >> The man showed either a lack of understanding or outright rejection of the legal process. No matter how many times officers explained, he insisted he was right, repeating the same argument over and over. When things didn't go his way, his mindset shifted from helplessness to anger and resentment. >> Listen to me. Listen to me. Okay? This is important. Take it to small claims court. All right. Because if you go the other way with it, you're going to go to jail, man. >> I'm going to jail then. >> No. Look, man. You're not giving them a hard time. All right. You're giving me a hard time at that point, right? >> He's giving you a hard time. >> No. No, he is not. >> Look, look, look what the >> You were lawfully evicted, right? >> I'm not lawfully evicted. >> You are lawfully evicted. You >> Mr. Blackman. >> What? >> Exactly. >> Look, you were lawfully evicted. You cannot return to the property. All right. You cannot go back on the property. >> I know what the sheriff told me, bro. You I I appreciate you. I appreciate you. I'm call the sheriff and then have ver >> All right. Thank you. >> What What did they say, sir? >> They going to send somebody out here. They just never I was Thank you. >> I get it cuz you you mad as too. >> I'm not mad. I just I I need you to understand. Okay. I don't want >> No, I get it. He don't get it. I'm over it. >> Well, they're not going to come. But here, here's the problem. >> I'm not going to file charges against those people. >> Put that on the ground. No, put it on the ground. I get it. I don't appreciate none of this wood. >> Well, I'm trying to help you out. >> You're not trying to help me, man. Put your foot on the ground. >> I'm It's going to blow away. You can just >> pick it up. No, >> I'm going to I'm going to call the sheriff. >> I I I don't like doing this. >> I've been here 40 plus years and I'm known to people. >> Yeah. >> I like people. If they're nice to me, I'll be nice to them. >> I'm going to call the sheriff. >> I can't >> Yeah. >> I can't deal with somebody that won't talk to me. >> No. If you dial 911, you're going to end up going to jail. >> For what? >> Abuse of 911. >> We're right here and there's not an emergency. >> Look, come on. Here. Will you just here? >> How about this? >> Exactly. >> You're being a little weird right now, man. >> Racism, man. >> You said none of this bull, man. >> Me, man. Hold on. >> Sick of it, man. >> All right. >> From confused to defiant, he quickly crossed the line. His repeated 911 calls revealed his intent to misuse the system as a shield for his actions. Accusing the officers of racism while they tried to explain the situation was simply a diversion tactic. He then escalated by demanding to go straight to the police station to plead his case. >> You going to just leave it open? >> Well, watch my target. >> You're not going to watch the hell just happened. Why did he open his tailgate? This is probably exactly what happened when he was being served the eviction. He probably just got all pissed off >> today. Okay. The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office came out. >> Well, I just left nothing to the court. This is what they told me to do. >> Because you told them that you your house was burglarized. It was not. >> Excuse me. I I'd like to file this police report for burglary and mail for honor because I was living at this residence. >> It's a false police report if you >> because it's not truth. You were evicted, sir. And you can't be arrested for that. >> They told me I wasn't evicted. I just left. >> That's not true. >> Well, I just want some papers. >> That's not true. >> So the judge, you just please leave. I just I just left the court officer. >> Sir, you were evicted. I've been to your house this morning. The county the sheriff's office came out. They served the eviction. I understand this, man. >> I I understand. >> You don't understand. I told you you were evicted. You have no rights to the property anymore. I told you to stop calling 911 cuz it's not an emergency. We've already helped you and now you're trying to file a false police report for a burglary. I am trying to help you so you do not commit crimes. How do you not understand that, man? >> What crime did I commit? >> Abuse of 911. You're about to commit a filing of false police report. >> How? >> What do you mean how? >> You called 911 like eight times. >> When? >> Today. I ain't call How you know I called? >> Because >> how do you know I call? >> 911's on the other end of the radio, man. >> How do you How you know I called? >> Are you serious right now? I do not understand what I'm saying to you. You called 911 that many times. They have a recording of you calling 911. They have a recording. >> Who recorded? Could you Could you Who >> 911 calls? 911 calls are recording. >> 911 nine times. Complain about >> his stubborn refusal to cooperate morphed into something more dangerous when he tried filing a false report. At that point, this was no longer confusion. It was a deliberate act against the law, proving he wasn't just uninformed, but intentionally breaking the rules. >> To him again, he just keeps saying, "How?" And I asked him, I said, "Is this going to be something that I'm going to need to take you to jail for?" >> Except for what? I said, "I've already explained abuse of 911. I've already explained what filing a false police report is." He keeps saying that they're committing a burglary at his house right now. >> Yeah. I think that is a mental instability on his part as far as a police report. So, I don't think that he's knowingly willingly trying to deceive us when he's filing something false. It's just >> But he also wouldn't give me the statement, >> man. Okay. So, >> no. Hey, Toan. Don't walk away. Don't walk away. Come here, man. Come here. >> No. >> No. We're going to have a conversation, man. Stop walking away from me. >> Stop walking away. >> Stop. >> Hey, I ain't Hey, come on, man. >> Stop, dude. >> Stop. >> Stop walking. >> Come here, man. Please. Please >> listen to me. Oh my. >> Listen to me. How many times did I tell you to stop calling 911 for this? How many times did I did I tell you Put your kid down, man? >> Put the kid down. How many times did I tell you to stop calling 911 for this, man? >> Answer the question, Tan. Answer the question. How many times did I tell you to stop calling 911 for this? Do you know? Do you remember? How many times? >> Mhm. >> Put your kid down. >> Put him down. Put him down. >> Put the child down. >> Put the child down. >> Put him down. >> Put the child down. You are putting him in danger right now. Put him down, >> Tuan. Put the child down. >> Everything's going to be okay. Just put >> Put him down, man. >> For what? >> Put him down. >> Put him down. >> What did I do? >> Put him down. >> For what? This my son. >> You're putting him in danger right now. Put him down. >> Put him down. >> I'm not putting him down, man. >> Put the child down. >> Put him down. >> Is there a supervisor? >> Put him down. >> Is there a supervisor? >> I don't know. Can he be in there? >> Why you putting him in danger, man? Why are you putting him in this situation? Put him down, >> please. Man. >> Okay, listen. >> I didn't do nothing, man. >> You did? >> What did I do? >> You called 911 like 16 times today, man. >> Dude, I requested a county card and not request. >> It does not matter. You have been calling 911 after I >> When he realized there was no escape, he snapped. Grabbing his child as a human shield wasn't just a lastditch attempt to avoid arrest. It was a desperate cry for help. In that instant, his son's safety vanished, replaced by his father's selfish instinct for self-preservation. >> And I got beat up and abused by the police. Man, you feel my life, man. >> That's not what we're here for today. >> I don't know. >> Look, we all have these cameras. >> Only thing I know is that my up and nobody nobody don't know what the going on. And I'm the one who >> does you have family around here or what? It's just me and my problems. >> That's [ __ ] My mom dead, man. >> Everybody's dead, man. You serious, man? >> I'm asking you questions. I don't know you. I am serious. >> My mom dead, man. I don't have nobody, man. I don't have nobody. This all I got. And my wife is locked up. >> Where's the letter again? You said a judge gave you a letter. >> I return. Please return. Let him go. >> Let him go. [Music] >> Let him go. >> Let him go. >> Please. Please. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my freaking Oh my god. >> We're going to put handcuffs on you. >> Oh my god. >> You understand? >> Oh my god. >> I'm sorry, man. Listen, your dad, he made some bad decisions today. He's not a I'm not saying he's a bad man, but he made some bad decisions. So, he's going to have to go to jail, and I didn't want this to happen this way. Okay? We're just going to have the ambulance come check you out, make sure you're okay, and then we're going to try to find you a place to go tonight. Okay? Just staying out here. I have people that I know I can go to. >> You know their phone numbers. >> I know where they live. >> All right. So, Zach, I'm going to task you with phone numbers. >> Yeah. DCF, medical release, all that stuff. >> Yes, sir. >> Your son is fine. Okay. >> The man was eventually transported to a hospital for a medical check before being taken to jail. He now faces charges of 9/11 misuse, child endangerment, and resisting law enforcement. If convicted, he could face fines, probation, or even prison time, depending on the severity and local laws. Most seriously, the child endangerment charge could strip him of custody rights altogether. From an innocent child caught in a suffocating standoff to twisted discipline turning a family home into a prison cell, this was the devastating cost of one man's defiance. On July 15th, 2023, cops got called out to a house after a family fight blew up. The sister claimed her brother Tyrone lost his temper and whipped her with a belt during an argument over child care. What started as a small spat spiraled into something way more serious. Hey, did y'all call? >> What's What's going on? >> I don't Okay, so this is how it all started. He hit me with the belt because he thought for what reason? I don't know. But we was talking about my kids brushing their teeth. My kids, not his kids. My kids. >> Okay. >> And I said uh I said I don't make my kids brush their teeth. I said I let them brush their teeth. I let them >> Thank you. You can have it. >> And next thing I know, he takes the bat and he hits me with it. >> Where'd he hit you at? >> On my leg. right here. >> You know, right here. >> Yeah, it's right up in here. He hits me with the belt >> and then I I tried to calm myself down like you know cuz my legs see I'm just like trying to I don't know what year he was born in >> like that's that just go to show you we are not close. So there therefore me and him was not playing. This was not no playing incident. That was not no joking around. I don't play with him like that. >> I tolerate him because that's my mama's son. But as far as us hanging out, going here, going there, playing around, throwing links, we do not do that. So yeah, I want to brush on his tail cuz he had no right to sit there and hit me with a darn belt like I'm his child. You he has a child in there. You was eight. I'm 26 years old. I don't live here. I came over here simply because I was going to get my mom to heaven with my hair and so my grand so my kids can spend time with their grandmother like they do every single week or not. >> Do Do you mind if I see the back of your legs? Do you still have marks or anything like that by chance or was it was it across the back of the legs or or right Okay, right there on the top of the thighs. >> So, is that with those couple of little welts there maybe possibly from that? >> Yes, from the belt. >> Okay. I I just want to make sure. >> Yes, sir. >> Is it just on the the left leg there? Is that >> just the left leg? >> All right. And and what and you may have told my partner here what was what what led up to this? What but if you wouldn't mind just what led up to all this today? We was just standing in the in the kitchen talking. He went and got the belt when I sold him how old my son's father figure is. >> Okay. >> And that's 43. >> All right. >> You're not my dad. Why are you worried about talking to her? >> Why you learn how to talk to somebody at 43 43? That's too old for her. I was like, >> "Okay." Does he actually I'm just I'm kind of I'm kind of going going through everything I got here. >> After he hit me with the belt and then everything like that, whatever, he apologiz somewhat apologizes. I'm like, "Whatever, brother. >> You want We can go talk with him now. You know what you did. >> All right, he's inside. We're going to go talk to him real quick and kind of see what's going on with get get his side of the story. >> Really? >> At this point, Tyrone only showed up through Lena's words. She painted him as hotheaded and controlling, quick to swing to violence over something that didn't even involve his own kids. >> You don't want to give us don't want to get anybody. >> I understand. >> Can you at least uh Does >> Does he have any kind of other any mental diagnosis? Anything like that? any kind of mental illness that you're aware of? I know he's got some issues. I just wanted to be aware of everything as we're trying to talk talk this through and figure out what's going on. >> I have more mental problems than what he does. I do admit that I'm bipolar. I have anxiety and depression. My anxiety right now, >> do we know where he's at inside? Just like to talk to him real quick. See what's going on here. Oh, we done locked the door. He locked the door. >> Locked the door on us. >> Yeah. Hey. Hey, just you step out real quick. Just I just want to talk just get your side of the story, man. Let's Let's talk real quick. >> Tyrone, right? >> I ain't did nothing wrong. >> Oh, I >> I didn't get this. >> That doesn't tell me this your side of the story, though. You can't just say I didn't do anything wrong. >> Let me just let me know what's going on. What happened? >> Her child put her hands on my child today. >> Okay. And I told her I was simply explaining to her >> your child to bruise on my child. >> That's poison. >> I Okay. I I didn't hear you. What? >> I was explaining to her if your child on my child I mother got got all the extra stuff. >> And so this was a conversation about discipline and then she got out of hand. Is that's what you're that's what you're saying your side of the story is here. >> That's it. And she end up calling out in the day. Ain't nobody hurt. >> Okay. >> I don't like >> I think she's crazy or nothing but >> she she took this whole thing a little too far. >> All right. >> Ain't trying to hurt nobody. Nobody hurt. >> She says that you hit her with whether that's from something else, whether it's a self-inflicted, I still have to document it. Do you understand? I got a job to do just like everybody else has a job to do. All I'm trying to do is document the situation. All right? Trying to figure out what's going on. All right? Cuz here's the deal. I've been doing this a long time. I know for a fact that there is your side of the story. There's her side of the story. And somewhere in between there is actually what happened. All right. Now, grandma here doesn't want to tell me what happened. If she saw it or not, she doesn't want to get involved. And that's that's she has every right to do so. All right. But I got to conduct my investigation. I got to document the report because you guys are blood blood related. Correct. >> Their mom tried to play peacemaker. Caught in the middle. Tyrone though dodged the cops and refused to open the door. When he finally cracked it, he flipped the script, claiming he was the real victim and blaming everyone else. >> I got to talk to the >> I just tried to I just tried to >> stop. >> Don't come crazy at me. Don't get crazy right now. >> Ma'am, what's his name? >> I just tried to leave. >> We're literally just trying to do our report because you got to keep his daughter. I ain't that selfish. I ain't that selfish. But really think about >> enough. >> Stop. That's not helping at all. your name. >> Can I >> You can Yeah, you can leave. >> Top. >> Okay. What's his name? >> He's going to get a warn up for this. Huh? It's charged right this >> I don't know. We got to identify him first. >> See, like I said, >> I'm going stand up for myself regardless if you willing to or not. >> Do you know his date of birth? >> You okay with him hitting on his right? Because it's it's him and he got his daughter down here. It's okay. >> But right is right and wrong is wrong. I'm grown as hell and he had no right to >> to properly identify you at this point in time. >> Look, if I wanted to have if I if I wanted to to to come in the house at this point, if I had charges on you, I'd be walking in the house and and putting handcuffs on you. Am I doing that? >> M I'm making sure. >> Yeah. No, no. Yeah. Look, I I need to properly identify you so I can document this situation. I'm getting rained on. I'd like to get this taken care of if that's okay with you. >> All right, Tyrone. >> That's fine. It's getting close to emptying a 1095. Ain't nothing wrong with that. >> So, >> yeah. >> All right. Tyrone, what's your middle name? >> Get you a room. >> Do you have a middle name? >> No, no, no. I I first first name, last name. What's your last name? >> You could not get in between out of my face. >> Ma'am, are you leaving? >> You told him, but you would not make him get out of my face. Mama, you just sat there and watched him get in my face and hit me for no reason. >> Stop. Listen to me. Listen to me, please. It is a lot harder for us to do our job when there's three people here antagonizing the whole situation. It's a lot easier for us to just focus on him. I know you you feel certain way about this whole situation, but >> it's it's it's much easier and much safer for us to work with him alone. >> With Lena and their mother both stepping in, things got messy fast. Instead of staying out of it, Tyrone ramped up, shifting from avoidance to flatout resistance. It was the classic mental crash. Anger boiling over into a fight with reality. Look, man. You don't have right to have rights to come in here. >> At this point, we do have the right to your house. You don't have right to come in. >> Turn around or you're going to get tased. >> You have right You need to back up. Turn around and you're going to get tased. >> Okay. Okay. My turn right there. Dude, are you serious? >> I tried to get you to cooperate with her. >> You don't have the right to come in our house. >> No, we do. >> You committed a crime. An allegation of a crime. You're not identifying yourself. That's the allegation. That's all we have to have right now. Dude, I have to go. >> Do you have an ID on you? >> Yes. >> Okay, we'll get that. >> You're >> obstruction mess up life, huh? Y'all take proud of me. Not really. >> On my life, you going to get it. >> Am I going to do what? You really the tallest, dude. Like, really? I got a life, dude. >> Can you transport? >> Can y'all please talk? >> Like, please. >> Hey, time for talk is over at this point. I tried. I stood at the door in the rain trying to get you to answer my questions. >> Trying to get you to answer trying to get you to do this with you. >> Okay. Look. Look. I have a warrant and and black and that's why >> know that's why you didn't want to identify yourself first. >> You don't care. >> Get in the car. >> Please. Talk to him. I get in the car. Get in the car. >> He going to take me to jail. >> Yes. Get in the car. >> My life. Make sure you search him very well. I'm going to follow you. >> Do you want to give him a quick pat down here? >> I don't want to get him back out of the car. >> Just do it in the car. >> Hey, open that door over there. >> Y >> Tyrone, I just want to talk. >> I understand that. So, here's here's what we're going to do. Okay. >> Hey, Tyrone, hold on. Look, you're in my car. You're under arrest. That's not changing at this point. You had the opportunity. Look, >> what do you have in your pockets? That's >> Do you have anything in your pockets that's going to hurt me, stick me, poke me, or anything like that? >> Do you have anything illegal in your pockets? >> Bro, look. >> All right. I I apologize. Make all I'm trying to do. >> I know I had a warrant. Can you listen, please? >> I'm listening. >> I know I had a warrant. End of the day, I'm trying to get my life together. I know if I go to jail for something stupid, I'm got to go all the way down there and handle that. I'm trying my hard, dude. >> I'm sorry. >> Eventually, he broke. Tyrone admitted fear was behind his choices. He confessed to having a warrant out and said all he really wanted was to be a good dad. That raw honesty showed he wasn't some monster, just a man trapped in his own bad decisions. >> Nothing over here. >> Please, bro. Like, I'm really not trying to go down this road. Like, please. >> At this point, it's too late. >> You need anything else? [Music] >> Sit tight. >> You got your kids? >> Yes. >> All right, you're good to go. >> Can I Can you please ask her for my wit card and my kids clothes? She has my Wick card. I need it. >> He'll have a phone call in a few minutes. When he gets there, he'll be able to call you. He'll be able to get that number for you. He has his phone. Um, she's requesting a Wick card. Do you have that? >> I got a W card. >> Okay. >> I would tear the card up. >> Got it. >> I would do it to her. I >> If you had it, you said you would. >> Yeah, I got it. Well, I'm telling you got to worry about me doing during the week. I just went to about the week. I can't turn into Clint. I told her to get the wig. She wouldn't do it. So, I get him down there and got it. I'm >> So, you're turning it in and everything. Like I said, this is something because she wanted me to destroy the we cart. Tell her to her. I'm going to do it right in front of you. Okay. >> No, I don't want that to happen. So, if you do that, it's damage your property. >> Time. >> That's me ever getting her again. >> And and that is a decision and I hate to put it like this, but that's a decision that you made when you refused to give us the information that we needed to get for my report. >> I didn't know what was going on because my this is my experience with the law. Every time you give them information, they run your name, you got a warrant, you're going to jail. That was my thing. >> Right. If they extradite, now that's how this works. >> If if wherever county will extradite, >> then yes, we have to bylaw. It is part of our duty. >> See, I didn't knew that. That's the reason I was acting when I was acting because like I don't know how this goes. I didn't know if you were going to run my name or not. >> I already told you I was going to >> and all I was trying to explain I was trying to get from you is are you going to run my name? That's why I was acting act like >> and I told you I told you I was going to run your name. >> Yeah, like me did report. You said did report and I was like okay. Are you going to run my name? That's how that works. >> That's how that works. >> That's what I was worried about. And I was like, I know if I they run my name, the warrant's going to come off. >> All right. >> And I like we're going to go to jail. >> In the end, officers hauled him off. He got charged with obstruction because he refused to cooperate or give up info, and he may face assault charges for hitting his sister with that belt. Jail time, fines, and the old warrant are now hanging over his head. And tucked inside all that family chaos, another layer surfaced where even the love for a pet had to face the cold, hard spotlight of justice. On April 14th, 2025, police showed up over what should have been a minor violation. A woman walking her dog on a surfboard, which was against city rules. But instead of simply handing over her info, she flat out refused. That one small act lit the fuse for a full-blown confrontation. You >> It's in my car. Do you have a Florida? Where's your car at? >> Um, I think it's there. >> That's a very vague answer. There. >> Do you have Florida ID? >> I live here. >> Do you have Florida ID? >> I do. >> What is your name? >> Why? >> What's that? >> Why are you going to write me a citation? >> I might. >> But the dog wasn't walking. >> It doesn't matter, man. They don't want a dog over here. period cuz they're afraid you might pick the dog put the dog down. >> I didn't put the dog down. >> I'm not saying you did. >> You didn't see that? >> No, I didn't. >> Okay. So, what are we talking about then, sir? >> What do you mean? I'm Deputy Cedic. My badge number is 1019. >> I'm not asking you all of that. I'm just saying what are we talking about? >> We're talking about you giving me your name. >> He wasn't on the boardwalk. >> S A B >> R I N A >> and your last name? talk to me about what we're talking about here. >> Okay, I'm asking you for your name. >> Okay, >> let me get you >> and absolutely I get that and I respect your authority, but before I identify myself, I'd like to know what we're talking about. >> So, um, let's get you identified and then we can discuss. >> What's the purpose of identifying me? >> Write you a citation. >> Oh my god. You're going to write me a citation? >> I might. But the dog wasn't walking. >> We We've been We've been through this. Sabrina Kyle. >> So, what's your last name? >> Oh. Oh, come on. Really? Are you serious around with me? Put your hand behind your back. Serious. >> Keep messing around with me, Sabrina. >> Oh my god. >> I'm going to be arrested. Okay. Do >> Yes. Over a dog. What started as a petty infraction quickly spiraled. By refusing to identify herself, she forced the situation into something much bigger. Once the cuffs came out, her attitude flipped. No more passive push back. She exploded with emotional and physical resistance. >> Oh my god. >> Oh my god. Why are you doing this? >> I'm not doing anything. I asked you for your name and all you want to do is play games. >> Oh my god. Do you see this guy? I want the What are you doing? >> Turn around. >> What are you doing, Sabrina? >> Are you serious? >> Turn around, Sabrina. >> Do you have nothing else to do? >> Alpha, what are you doing? >> Could I get a 94 900 Southeast 21 Avenue, please? >> Oh my god. Because the dog was in my hands. >> No. >> Okay. >> Wow. >> You want to go home or do you want to go to jail? >> Like, that's a >> You tell me. >> It sounds like you're bullying me. Hm. >> It sounds like you're bullying me and you are using your authority. >> I just asked you. >> You are using your authority. Tighten your green. You're doing pain compliance, right? >> Yes. >> Pain compliance. I got it. >> Just stand there. >> Yeah. Absolutely. Absolutely. >> That's all you have to do is stand there. >> Okay. Cuz I had a dog in my arms. >> Yep. >> Oh, this is awesome. >> No. No. >> This is awesome. I had a dog >> because you didn't want a dog in my arms >> because you didn't want to identify yourself. >> Twisting my arm. >> So, just stand there. Just stand there. Twisting my arm cuz I had a dog in my arm. >> Stand there. >> Cuz I had a dog in my arm. This man officer seated is twisting my wrist. >> Just stand there. >> Because I had a dog in my arms here. >> That's all you need to do. >> Pain compliance. >> That's all you need to do. >> Just stand there >> because I had a dog in my arm. >> Just stand there. >> That's what's happening here. >> I had a dog in my arm. >> Just stand there. He's in my arms. >> In my arms, officer, the dog is still in my arms when you started with me. >> Yeah, I know. >> You're so bored, right? >> No, not really. >> The dog was in my arms. >> From the officer's side, this was a clean arrest. She failed to comply, plain and simple. From her side, though, it was an abuse of power. Two clashing realities in one moment. Through it all, the officers kept it steady, spelling out the reasons and procedure every step of the way. >> Who do you live with? >> Don't worry about that. That's none of your business. >> Okay. >> The dog was in my arms and you like issuing pain compliance. >> Yes. >> She won't sit still. >> I don't have to sit still. >> Actually, you kind of do. >> I don't have to. >> Okay. >> I didn't move before you put your hands on me. Yes, you did. >> All I did was refuse to give you my last name. Okay. >> And trust me when I tell you I'll do my due diligence here, sir. The >> dog. >> Well, if you go to jail, what are we going to do with the dog? >> Why would I go to jail? >> You just refused to give me your last name. >> I You >> You just said you did. >> Grab my arm. >> Yes. >> You were not person centered or trauma informed when you approached me in a really aggressive manner. >> While I was holding rope, I'm like, watch when I watch how I spin this. >> Spin it? How are you going to spin it? >> We're free. >> Okay. So, let go of your keys. >> Why? >> And put your dog down. >> Why? >> Because we're going to put you in handcuffs. >> Why? Oh my god. Why are you hurting me? >> Enough with you. >> I What is happening? Why are you doing this? >> Everything got to be at a 10 with you. >> Why are you wrestling me? >> Why are you What? >> What are you doing? Why are you doing this? >> Get inside. >> You're such a hater. All I did was not give him my last name. Get my drugs. So, >> I don't deserve that. Like, you're overreacting. >> Let me know when you want to talk. What are we going to do with your dog? Is there some place we could take him to? Somebody you can call? >> Please. Why are you taking it this far? >> You don't want to talk to me? >> Walking with the dog in my arms and now you're ready to arrest me. >> Hey, Dad. >> Why are you doing this? >> I was walking with the dog in my arms. It doesn't seem unfair to you. Her behavior was a cocktail of twisted logic and emotional manipulation. She tried to rewrite the script, pushing herself into the role of victim to soften her accountability. But the truth is, if she just played it straight from the beginning, none of this would have escalated. for me. >> Okay, just relax your hand. Um, all your jewelry and stuff, can we leave that with your boyfriend or >> you want to take it with you? >> Please don't arrest me. >> I haven't done anything. I was walking with the dog. You're not being arrested for walking your dog. You understand that? >> But okay. >> You're being arrested for like not giving me your name. >> I gave you my name though. You have my name. You have my address. >> After the fact, >> this is the ring is really hard to take off. >> It took me putting you in handcuffs in order to get you to come >> because I'm emotionally disregulated. >> Well, I'm sorry. You're emotionally dysregulated. >> I have a crisis intervention team who like a mobile crisis who could help with stuff like this. I was emotionally irregulated. I came over here to heal because I'm I'm grieving. >> Okay. I'm sorry for your loss. >> The proper course of rec the proper course of action for you is to arrest me because I had a dog in my arms. >> You're not being arrested for this. >> So, please just let me walk away. >> Just stand right here. >> Please don't do this. >> Does the ring come off at all or no? >> It does. You have to like really grease it. Can you take it off? >> Please don't do Let me go. Please, sir. >> We're not going to let you go. Okay. This has gone way too far. Do you have anything in your pocket? I don't >> the dog, please. >> Yes, we're going to take care of the dog. We're going to drop him off to your house. Is your boyfriend home right now? >> If you're really being honest with yourself, all I didn't do was give you my my Yes. And this is just me out. >> So, you could you could let me go. You could decide to let me go. >> Please let me go. >> Hear me out. >> Please let me go. And it took all of this in order to get you just to give me your neck for a ticket. A dumb >> She never grasped that her stubborn refusal turned a slap on the wrist violation into a criminal charge. Even when she claimed to be cooperating, it was only after the cuffs were locked. Compliance under pressure isn't real compliance. Meanwhile, her boyfriend had to step in and take the dog. >> I was walking with the dog on the boardwalk and I didn't give you my last name as soon, but you have it now. Okay. >> Why are you doing this? >> Have you ever heard the term too little too late and it took all of this? It took the screaming. >> You know what? >> You know what the causes? >> You're not trauma informed and you're not person centered. And I get it. >> And you don't understand. And that's fine. You want to arrest the woman and take my dog away because I had the dog in my arms. >> And the minute you asked me for my my last name, I didn't give it to you and now I'm under arrest. >> I asked you like several times. >> No, sir. You you you issued pain compliance. You issued pain compliance >> immediately. Immediately. A woman who for >> all I did was have the dog in my hand. >> Right. >> You have all the information you need to to issue all of the >> citations that you need. You have all the information you need to issue all the citations, but you're still choosing to take my dog away and to put me in jail for no reason. >> We're going to take your dog to your house. Your boyfriend's there. >> He may not be there. I don't know where he is because we're living in separate bedrooms right now. So, I don't know where he is. >> He could be doing with your house or No, >> I only live with him and we're acting as roommates right now. >> Do you know his number? >> I do. >> Okay. So, let's have a seat back in the car. We're going to try and call him. >> So, here's the dog. >> Are you okay? >> She's fine. >> I need your t-shirt. >> Give me your t-shirt. >> Get my car. >> I'm getting it. I'm I'm working on that. Where's my key? Where's the keys? >> Keys are in that bag right there along with your jewelry. All right, that's it. Thank you. >> Okay, >> here. Just put your head down. Just going to put this over your head. There you go. >> Oh. In the end, she was booked into jail and hit with charges like resisting or obstructing law enforcement. Depending on how the court sees it, she could face fines, jail time, or both. Because in the end, when love for a pet gets weighed against the law, the gavl falls and the whole world feels the shock. On June 23rd, 2021, police rushed to a Walmart parking lot after a 911 call about a dog trapped inside a hot car. When officers arrived, they found the poor pup showing signs of exhaustion. This wasn't just a minor call. It was a race against time for 15. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. And I didn't have a water bottle with me. Otherwise, I would have just tried to pour some in there, you know. >> I was going to say the heat he >> two out of 240. I did try the doors. They are going to be locked. >> Are you okay? Oh, that one's unlocked. >> Now is nice. 240. We got the truck car or door unlocked. >> We'll be able to unlock that. >> Let's uh Can we unlock these? The back ones? Yeah. >> Hi. You want to come outside? Come here, baby. Come on. >> Come on. Let's get outside. Can you get down? >> Oh, thank goodness. >> Come on, buddy. It's okay. >> You can do it. Come on. Come on, girl. Good girl. >> Good girl. Hi, >> baby. You're a good girl. Thank you so much. You're welcome. Thank you. >> Oh, baby. >> You're just building. >> Hey. >> Hi. >> How are you folks doing? >> We're doing okay. >> Is this dog okay? >> It looks like he's okay now. Or she >> or it's okay. Yeah, >> she was just a little or it was just a little a little bit. >> Good girl. >> Yeah, she was locked in a hot car. >> Just some more. >> That's not a good thing. >> No. >> Actually for that dog. >> Yeah, me too. Well, you have a good day. Okay. >> Oh, yeah. You >> take care. You got >> So, tell me what your thought is >> on like how to handle this. I think we should sight them. >> I've never had to sight that. >> Me neither. >> Um >> but so far we could probably put it at what about 15 minutes so far? >> Uh at least cuz she said before she called um she had unpacked her groceries. She said it was about 10 minutes before she called. So >> when does uh did dispatch say what animal control would be doing? No, she said that they don't get. >> Thankfully, the dog survived, but leaving it locked inside like that screamed negligence. The officers didn't waste a second. They slipped a hand through and popped the door open. It was an emergency. No waiting for permission, no backup, just pure instinct to save a life. >> I think he has water in there, too. She just keeps knocking that over if you want to hold it. >> You thirst. >> And animal control. I I would defer to them and let's find out what they would do normally. >> Okay. >> They may very well say, "You know what? We're going to do a warning. We're going to do a welfare check on the dog. Where do you live?" Blah blah blah. >> And just make sure everything works out. And maybe they'll be the kinder gentler that we're coming over here at 102°. And I'm like, >> in cars it goes 15 20° over that. >> Oh my god. >> It's absolutely unacceptable. >> Can't even imagine. Right. when I got here and I was like, "Oh, it's not black, but maybe I'll call." >> Hi. >> Is there any way I can hold you guys? >> No. Yeah, we were just called for the dog being locked in the hot truck. >> Okay. >> If you want me to take the dog to my house, I would. >> I would, too. She's cute. >> She's adorable. >> Poor thing. >> She would never be locked in a hot car with me. >> No. Thank you for offering, though. >> Yeah, she's adorable. So, may I have a soft spot in my heart, but she's adorable. >> Yeah, she's so sweet. >> Take care. >> Can you grab me the water that's on the >> console? Stay sitt >> You want some more? >> Oh my god. I have more in my car too if you need. This is hot water. It's probably not very good. >> She's like, well, I think like everything. >> While waiting for the owner to show, the officers walked through the procedures out loud, careful to document every detail. How long had the dog been stuck? What were the visible risks? They knew it would matter later. In the meantime, they soothed the animal, playing with it to calm its nerves until its owner arrived. Oh, look at that. >> Oh, hi. You're so sweet. >> You're so sweet. Yes, you are. You come home with me, huh? You come home with me. Just come home with me. We'll forget the whole thing. We'll forget the whole thing. >> I think she'd be okay though. Look at her. >> She's like, "Do you have water?" >> I do have I have so much water at my house right now. >> Cold water? >> You do? Yes, I do. >> We didn't even put the sprinkler on. Yeah. Well, they say at 100° the pavement gets 155 and it burns dogs paws. >> I guess I could offer no ticket by the car. >> That' be a fun >> and let me have the dog, >> right? You get the dog. >> Oh my gosh. >> I still want to videotape you guys put on Facebook, but I'm not going to. >> We're right here. >> I'm not crazy. >> I was laying down with the dog. We were having fun with the dog and she's licking us. She's so sweet. >> There's not a meme bone in your body, is that? >> No, there's not. >> Well, I was kneelled down. She was underneath my >> It actually gets easy >> once it hits 80° cuz it's that's it. It doesn't It doesn't You don't even have to negligence. >> Really? >> Yeah. >> You can add now what we'd have to prove is um that something >> How does that work? Do we would we usually or would you >> I mean the only thing is I didn't remove him. I didn't see them in the truck. >> So I just got to get your co and put you down. You're the ones who found them and and took them out. >> Okay. >> What do you think? Do you want to or do you want me to for our first one? >> I either one. I think we one of us should do it though. >> Okay. So it makes it a little cleaner >> since you're the What would we write it for? Do you know the statute 200 >> is it for >> a bubbly municipal code >> that you can write it up. >> What do you use? >> I'm going to leave this. >> Okay. Thank you. >> The real kicker, the dog had been tied down in the back seat. It couldn't even crawl to a shady spot. That one detail sealed the deal. It proved the cops were 100% justified in stepping in when they did. >> Seats 122 pushing the back. >> Yeah. Seats in the back are 114. So it's surface temperature. It's not air temperature. >> Okay. >> But just >> So do we use the hottest temperature, which would be 140. >> There was a range from 114 to 130° on surfaces inside the vehicle. Any damage to the truck? >> No. Uh Younger put his arm in and unlocked it from the inside. >> Okay. >> So, and that's how we got it unlocked. >> Who got the reading? Did you get the reading? Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Awesome. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Yeah. That's great. >> Cool. >> Jeez. Right. >> Yeah. Sorry. I was all the way down south. You guys are >> on the radio. I'm like, "Oh my god, >> Sarge. I I think that you should go to all of our calls." You know what? Let's not even go anymore. >> I'm sorry. >> Just cuz you're late once ever because of something that you had to do. >> This was a win, man. >> I'm like stoked, >> dude. Especially as it gets longer and longer. >> People do this. But I'm glad that we caught them and we're giving them a ticket. >> Will they make an announcement? >> No. >> I can go in and ask Walmart, too, if you want. >> Let's do that. And um if you want, do you want to take a photo of this name? >> Yeah, cuz that'll be easier than just the car. >> It looks like Michell Michelle. >> Is it a new registration? >> Is now available to all. >> Hi. Who do I talk to to make an announcement in the store? um services in the middle. >> Okay. Thank you. >> Ma'am, can I talk to you real fast? >> Yeah. Who do I need to talk to about making a quick statement over the intercom? >> Um I believe >> I can help you on what's >> Okay. Um I was hoping that someone can make a statement over the intercom to the store >> for a Michelle Ferguson with a black Ram 150 >> to go to return to her vehicle in the parking lot. Please. Um, can I borrow? >> Yeah, absolutely. >> The officers worked hard to track down the owner, staying calm and professional the whole time. But when she finally showed up, her first reaction was denial, dodging responsibility for what happened. Ironically, her attitude only underscored why the rescue was absolutely the right call. In the end, the woman was taken to jail, charged under Loveland City law with animal neglect. She got a summon, and had to face the consequences for what she did. On top of that, she was hit with an initial $60 fee to reclaim her dog from impound, plus other costs. Worst case, she could lose ownership of her pet entirely. What started as a heartbreaking scene with a helpless animal was only the opening act. The true darkness emerged when a squatter decided the law didn't apply to them. On February 3rd, 2023, police were called to an apartment after reports of squatters. The moment they got close, the smell of marijuana hit them, giving officers even more reason to dig in. What looked like a routine call suddenly turned into a storm of resistance. No, it's not locked. >> Fort Myers police. Let me just watch the top. >> Come to the door. >> Listen, this is my cousin house. She told me I can stay the night over here. >> She's a white girl. Her name is Rachel. >> All right. Do me a favor. Don't put your hands in your pockets. Do you have anything illegal on you? Cuz >> No, sir. >> I can already smell weed boiling out of the house, which is why I want to know. >> Oh, no. There be anything illegal inside the house? >> No, sir. You can go in. >> Why you got >> bae? I bathe pop. >> Okay, just >> go ahead. You guys can go in. >> Anybody else in there with you? >> My cousin. >> Where they at? >> Where she at? Just stay here. Just stay over here with me. >> Okay. >> Why? Why you searching me like that? >> No one searched you. You're not going anywhere. I told you you're not going anywhere. >> Okay, then I'm going to call I'm going to call I'm going to record you. I know. Yeah, record. >> What happened? >> Yeah. They said that my cousin don't know that. Well, they say the rent office don't know that we're in here, but they clearly do because she just left like a week ago. >> They don't. >> They just change the locks. >> They just change the locks. >> Listen, I'm telling you, they're saying no. >> Okay. Can we get our stuff and go then? >> In a minute when we're done. >> Okay, that's it. That's it. There we go. All right. >> It's no one else in there. Y'all doing all that for what? You standing right here in front of me. >> No. >> And she's pushing her hands on me. So, I want to know her name. >> You're not going anywhere. >> I didn't say I'm going nowhere, but you pushing me like you're going to do something. I could almost take you to jail for trespassing. You tell me what you want to do. >> Stop. >> For my police. Anybody upstairs? Announce yourself now. Stay right there. >> She rested me like pushing me like what the wrong with you. But you can't talk. Listen. >> So what? Bro, she pushed me. I don't give a what she talking about. >> At first, the woman played it cool with passive defiance, lying about why she was there. But it didn't take long before her act escalated. She went from passive aggressive to outright hostile, even throwing out false info to dodge accountability. [ __ ] Let me call my mama. Sit right here. >> Don't go nowhere. >> I know I don't. >> I'm [ __ ] She put her hand on me like she >> cleared. Lucky you got big boys in front of you. I whoop. All right. >> What you going to do? I think we're going to hit them both for trespass. That's what I think we're going to do. Housing out here. I I have a set. >> She can't trespass me cuz I live out here. >> Relax. >> Cuz she going to put her hand on me, bro. Tell that why she put her hand on me, bro. >> Stop. We don't need all this whoop. >> We don't need all this. You're not whooping anybody. Relax. >> Cuz she flagging, bro. My bag is on the floor. >> Okay, we'll work on that. But right now, we're not getting anything. >> Okay. >> Okay, >> that's fine. >> I don't want no smoke. Uh, but she >> You want to sit down? Do you want to Do you want to sit on the front of my bumper? >> Yeah. >> You got ID? >> No. >> Did you already give the other officer your name? >> My name is YG, bro. >> Y Brown. >> Like YG? >> Yes, bro. I ain't do nothing, bro. That's lagging. I need my bag of my stupid >> like Yankee Golf. >> Yes. >> And last name Brown. >> Yes. >> Like that's your given name? >> Yes. >> What's your date of birth? >> Huh? >> What's your date of birth? >> 027. Hey, >> my Nelson, don't come over here. Don't tell her to get out. Stop. >> Becky coming over here. >> Well, she's our supervisor and she supervises the city and she will. You need to relax. >> You escalating this isn't going to help the chilling, >> bro. I'm sitting on your car, bro. You need to go on while she come over in like >> I'm just waiting. Like I told you, I'm waiting for the housing unit to get here. >> For what though? So then she can give me all the information that I need. >> She can tell me who's supposed to be here and who's not supposed to be here. >> I don't know if she know me or not. >> Bro, I just told you I was covering the move, bro. I was one of my last little bit of things out of there that she left for me to get. You know, it's not like I'm staying up in there or something. >> Her story kept changing. Age, name, the whole deal. It was a clear attempt to bury the truth and sidestep an arrest. The officers split her from the man she was with. A smart move to keep control and stop the situation from spiraling further. >> This guy got here from school, bro. I just got off the bus. I go to Coronado, bro. I don't have time to do them. >> I ain't doing nothing wrong. Huh? I was picking up the last little bit of stuff. She was trashing for you. See me getting her stuff up. >> And when we verify this through the housing, then no big deal. >> How? She don't even know me. Them people up there don't know me, bro. >> She works on this problem. She knows everybody. >> Not saying she knows the first. >> Yeah, that's what I'm >> not saying she knows the first one. >> But she even seen me. >> But she knows this property and she has a tenant list. We don't. >> Well, can I get my >> Who's this girl relation to you? >> I don't I don't even know her. >> Okay. >> You guys are hanging out. So that's why >> because we was the only two people left in the mother. >> Okay. >> I don't I don't stay there at all. >> You mind just keeping you mind just keep your hands out your pocket? >> It's my phone. I got this. That's all I have. >> If you want me to pat you down, you're more than welcome to keep you in your pocket. Okay. Face my car. Just put face my car. >> You have nothing going to poke me. >> Please, sir. Search for no reason. No, you just you just did. And you're lying in my face. >> Not. I just hate your pat. >> All right. I'm done talking. >> Perfect. >> Thank you. I'll just wait for the next officer here. This got to stop and I'm pressing charges on you. So get ready though. >> I'm writing a whole report just for that. And I wanted to touch Joe as well. This thing got nasty. Just searching for help. I have something on like you said. I have a gun. >> Do you see me? Obviously. You just see me. You look like I got a spool, right? >> I I can get on. I'm not. >> Just hang tight for us. The housing just got out here. >> I ain't trying to get I ain't trying to get up on nothing. No nothing over here. That's >> We're going to find out what's going on. >> What's I'm trying to figure out what's going on. I'm talking about an apartment that's supposed to be vacant, right? >> Yeah. >> Why you still got me sitting in it? Stay here. >> You were in it. >> I was what? >> In it. >> I understand that. But I had nothing to do with this. >> But you were upstairs in the apartment. >> You're right. Because I want to know why the police were out here. So I said, >> "So why were you in there in the first place?" I came upstairs and looked at me. >> The man's story didn't hold water either. In fact, it hinted that he might have been the one coaching her into squatting. Meanwhile, she leaned hard into the victim role. Crying harassment, crying injustice, even accusing cops of improper searches despite the fact that a female officer had carried them out. >> Get in my thing. Like, come on, bro. She smell. Look at her ass. She so she look like me. Well, I smell weed here last day. I smell weed. You can smell weed all you want. You chas weed in there. >> How'd you get over here today? >> I was actually at my cousin's house yesterday at another cousin's house. Um over on in court, >> I should have hit you in your [ __ ] That's how I feel. Real [ __ ] I should have just spit off your [ __ ] and go to jail, bro. And rock out in your back seat. Put her in handcuffs. >> No, man. >> No. How yall going? Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. >> I ain't do nothing. >> Turn around. Right your back. >> I ain't doing nothing. >> Your back. >> What I did, bro. Can you come get my phone? >> Get break your phone, bro. >> Stop. >> Cuz they ain't even do nothing. >> Please stop tensing up. >> Stop tensing up. >> I'm asking you to stop. >> You put me in cuffs first, sir. Go ahead. Do not resist jail. >> I ain't getting in your car the whole time. >> Stop. >> Did you get my text my phone? >> Nope. >> What? >> Henry stays with you. >> Read me my right. My camera's still on. Read me my rights. >> Henry, read me my rights. But you put me in king custo. Your friend told me to. Your friend told me to. Your friend told me to. >> Stop moving around, >> bro. Like, come on, bro. Then you putting that man in jail, too. We ain't even do nothing. >> When building management confirmed the apartment was indeed being occupied illegally, the mask came off. Her verbal defiance morphed into threats of violence. At that point, officers had no choice but to cuff her, making sure everyone stayed safe. >> Check pockets, >> man. That man already checked my pockets, bro. You better move. Not with my feet in cuz don't touch me. >> Ma'am, I'm going to ask you to step inside my car. >> Crazy. Henry, like real [ __ ] Henry. Like you flagging. Can you get my phone, Henry? >> No, ma'am. >> Follow me in. >> It's my bro. >> Then when I get out, I'mma beat that Chico ass over there, too. Watch. I remember you, Chico. You can't hide. >> Breaking in here. Um, so they said that the tenant probably has not lived here for quite some time, but on behalf of the housing authority, they wish to um press charges for the trespass. >> Okay. >> This is my warning, so let me go. >> So, is this your real name? >> Yes, let me go, please, sir. >> All right. If I find out that this isn't your real name, you're going to get additional charges. >> I know. Can you please let me go, sir? I have kids. I have a wife, bro. I have a girlfriend. Bro, you don't you don't have to do me like that, bro. I didn't do anything wrong but record you guys. And y'all getting mad because I recorded y'all. And I'm selling that white lady out cuz she pushed me really hard and I stumbled, bro. So, you'll let a [ __ ] push you like that, bro. Without getting mad. Hello. >> Give me a second. I'm on the mic. >> In the end, she was hauled off to jail and charged with trespassing for squatting in the unit. But that wasn't all. She also faced possible charges for threatening officers, lying about her identity, and resisting. The penalties, anything from fines and probation to straight up jail time. A simple trespassing call had unraveled into a full-on clash where denial, lies, and threats turned a shaky cover story into a night behind bars when a woman running 45 minutes late brazenly snuck onto a plane through a side gate. When caught, she flat out refused to get off, forcing the entire flight to shut down. But the real question is, what on earth made her think the rules didn't apply to her? And believe it or not, things only got stranger from there. >> Sorry, I just I just walk in like just like you guys. I walk in with you guys. Uh, for what I understood, that just rose in >> the agent went to close the door and there was one that was sitting on the flight and was refusing even to move. Philipe, is Stephanie uh Stephanie inside? They said that already. >> I was doing >> inside. She's inside. >> I just let me just go in because I think was one that was refusing uh getting out. [Music] I tell her to come outside. [Music] Huh? >> Oh, thank you. >> She's going to go in front. Who's the person? The She's going to >> in the back on the left. [Laughter] [Music] Hey uh exit the right now I have press charges for you trespassing you went >> I'm not trespassing I haven't just let you know right now the police officers are here we're going to ask you to voluntarily walk out of the plane if not now we're going to ask everybody we're going to ask for >> I understand I understand but you were not bored when we closed the door you went through the door >> when there was no at that moment at that moment >> let's talk to you outside let's come outside Yeah, you don't get over. >> Okay, hold on. Let me tell everybody out. >> Okay, we'll get everybody out. >> I'm like everybody else and I >> All right, let's go. Let's go to the jet. We can talk. >> What do you mean about >> before officers could even get there, she was already shouting threats, saying she'd assault anyone who got in her way, and even claimed she'd forced the pilot to take off. Yep, you heard that right. She was ready to hijack the whole situation just to get her way. >> I never did nothing. What? >> I paid for my ticket like everybody else. >> We need to talk to you. Let's go outside. >> No, I don't have to talk to y'all. >> Okay, I'm going to make it worse. >> Y'all can send me a pill in the mail. >> You okay? >> Y'all can literally send me something in the mail. What? Whatever. I >> like everybody else. >> Let's go. Everybody has to >> stay here charges against you. And guess what? I'mma beat the case cuz I'm not trespassing. Unfortunately, we're going to have to complain everybody. [Music] >> Will you listen to what I have to say? Listen, >> when you listen what I have to say, >> stand over here. >> Make sure you get your belongings and make sure you have your body pass in your hands while we have your body. From here, we will do this as soon as possible. All right, >> let's go. >> I apologize for the delay and I apologize for the >> ticket. Well, you come from there. A lot of people here have to deport. Get your ass off the tank. >> Ma'am, don't instigate her. Please >> guys, don't instigate her cuz then we got to deal with her. >> They never refuse me. I was already on the plane. >> Now, >> now after the fact. No, but that's after the fact. You can't do that after the fact. So, no. >> Everybody go. We all going home late. >> No, I can't. I can't cuz they should have just took off. >> Let's go. Let's go. Let's do it fast. What you guys waiting for? Let's go. >> Okay, let's go. Let's move. >> My boarding pass is the same flight as everybody else. >> Because of her tantrum, the entire plane had to be evacuated. Just imagine, someone might have missed a wedding, a funeral, or even the final moments with a dying loved one. All because of one selfish woman who thought the world revolved around her. Absolutely infuriating. >> They just want to have an attitude cuz they're miserable. They're miserable with their life. There's nothing for you to say. What is there for you to say? >> Like I said, y'all want to make my life hard. Make everybody else life hard. >> I want to go home. I don't even live here. >> That's weird as y'all weird. >> But y'all mad. Y'all really can't do anything besides make everybody get off and everybody get back on. >> You got to wait till everybody get off. Get off. do her plane. >> It's cool. I already semi information. >> Yeah. Everybody getting off. >> Let's go. You going in front of me. >> And she going to go behind me. >> Behind me. No, that's mine. Clearly. >> All right. Let's go. >> You're not going behind me, though. >> Ma'am, let's go. >> You can go and I will go behind you. [Music] You're not walking behind me. Period. I don't trust you. I don't trust Yes. Please record. Thank you. >> Um, my Instagram is >> so Send it to me >> so I can send it to my daddy. >> That's your only bag cuz they're definitely not walking behind me. Yeah. Make sure y'all Instagram. [Music] >> They already have my ID. I know I'm >> with a mindset like if I'm not going home, then nobody is. She dragged an entire flight into chaos. And to top it off, she was proudly live streaming the whole disaster on Instagram as if that somehow made it okay. Honestly, it's beyond embarrassing. >> I am giving you a direct order to walk over there. >> Okay. >> Don't make it worse. >> They're making it worse for them. That's illegal. I didn't do >> Everybody here Everybody here is >> I have a ticket like everybody else. What do you mean? Can somebody record this? >> Can somebody record this? >> What is you doing? >> What is you doing? >> Y'all not necessary. What the hell? I have a ticket for this flight and y'all trying to take me off your flight. >> It's no longer valid. What do you mean it's not? >> Because you're going to jail. >> But everybody else is not. >> I'm not going to We're going to have to Yeah. Hold on. Let's How >> relax. We're going to take your >> I'm relaxed. You're grabbing me. You're not grabbing your phone. >> I'm relaxed. You're grabbing me. What do you mean? >> I'm relaxed. >> Because why is he grabbing me and I'm relaxed? >> Like I said, he grabbing me. >> I'm illegal as [ __ ] though. It's cool cuz I don't mind suing nobody. Suing Miami police. That's why he's shaking his head. He over y'all. He's shaking his head. And I'm on camera at the airport. This illegal as I have a ticket and y'all mad because I have literally the plate got stopped cuz I have a ticket. >> I'll get you. I'll get you. I'll get you. >> Apparently her parents forgot to teach her life's most basic lesson. Don't be a nuisance to others. This is the textbook definition of narcissism. Believing the world should stop and cater to you. And when she was finally arrested, not a hint of remorse, just smug, loud, and totally ridiculous as they hauled her away. Once you refuse to get off the the airplane that's >> give me the info. I will. [Music] >> Text my dad and tell him. See, look at him. They drag now. They want to drag. >> No. Over here. >> Door 19. You need to exit out. Just exit out. >> Exit. Exit out. [Music] Weird. >> Yeah. Yeah, I know. Turn around. Relax. >> No, that's illegal. Stay right there. >> Hey, that's trying to beat me. >> It's not even [ __ ] in my pocket. me police. Y'all being sued. >> Y'all not going. >> But you should Why y'all didn't have a body cameras on? Why y'all didn't have body cameras on? Then y'all going to suffocate me in the car? >> You want to go to the station? >> Go to the station. 105 372 nobody say nothing >> this way. >> Will you grab the [ __ ] >> Yes, I will grab this stuff. >> Was you under arrest? >> In the end, she was taken to jail and charged with disorderly conduct, trespassing, and endangering the safety of a flight. She ended up with probation after going to court. But get this, turns out she had a prior for assaulting a fast food worker 2 years earlier. So, was probation really enough for someone who jeopardized an entire plane full of people? You be the judge. Next up, a younger girl who thought she knew it all until life hit back hard and taught her the lesson the hard way. On October 3rd, 2024, police were called after a strange woman was seen pacing erratically in someone's backyard. She didn't know the homeowners, and her behavior raised all kinds of red flags. Was it trespassing, drugs, or maybe a full-blown mental health crisis? [Applause] Hey, how we doing? >> Good. >> Hey, I'm Officer M. I got a body cam on. >> Hi. >> What's going on today? You okay? >> Yes. I'm just waiting for a friend. >> Waiting for a friend. Okay. Somebody called and said that they just saw you pacing around here. >> Oh, it was them. >> Is that your friend? >> No. >> Where's your friend at? >> Um he went to go get um some groceries. I just waited for him. >> Okay. Where does he live at? >> He lives in this one >> in front. >> Up front? >> Yeah. >> Oh, okay. Um, but he doesn't live in this one here. >> No. >> Okay. That might be why they called then cuz they're confused why you're standing on their patio. >> Oh, I'm sorry. He told me to wait back here. >> Your friend did? >> Yeah. >> Okay. How come you didn't go with him? >> Um, I don't know. >> Oh, how how old are you? >> I'm 18. Can you spell that? >> Wait, why are you getting my name? Did I mind making trouble here? >> Well, yeah, we got Hold on. We got called out here um to to talk to you and to see if everything's okay. You're on somebody's back patio and you don't live here. >> Oh, I'm sorry. I can just hold on and we will in a second, but we got to get down and make sure that everything's okay. >> What is not okay? >> Well, that that's what I'm trying to figure out. >> Oh, that I was just standing here, right? >> I'm sorry. >> I was just standing here, right? walking around on somebody else's patio trespassing >> knock on their door cuz they're the ones who like >> I've we've already talked to the caller. >> So what's not okay? >> I can just move. >> Nope. Hold on. You're not going anywhere right now. Right now right now you're detained. Okay. >> For what? >> Well, you've already told me that you don't live here. You're on somebody else's back patio. And now you're freaking out and you're you're getting a little um >> Why don't you want to give me your name? Let me ask you that. You have a warrant? >> I don't, but I did miss court yesterday. Okay. Um, what was it for? Was it something serious or just something little? >> It's just um a trespassing. >> Okay. >> When officers approached her, she casually admitted she just missed a court date for another trespassing case. Just like that, she handed the police a reason to cuff her. Anyone in their right mind would have kept quiet, but Juel, she practically wrote her own arrest warrant. >> But I didn't mean to trespass again. >> I understand. I understand. Um, I think maybe just moving forward, it's just about making better decisions. Okay. because like this isn't your friend's house. This is somebody else's house. If you were at your house and somebody was um walking around, you know, on your back patio, you would be like, "Wait a minute. Why is this person here?" You might even be freaked out thinking they might be trying to break in or something. >> So, I'm going to be detained. >> Well, right now you are detained just because we're investigating what we were called out here for. Um which essentially >> both a trespassing and a check wellbeing cuz somebody said it seemed like you were impaired. and talking to you. I'm wondering if you have taken any drugs or anything like that today. >> No, I was just walking around talking to myself cuz I'm bored and I don't have my phone with me. >> Okay. All right. Yep. Well, um here's the thing. You did miss court yesterday. Okay. And you do have a warrant. So, right now, we got to handle that warrant. Okay. So, I'm going to put you in handcuffs right now. Okay. Nope. You're going to go in handcuffs. Put your hands behind your back. Put your hands behind >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Okay. >> You are You're going to get more chosen if you don't stop put. >> You just got to go to the jail. That's okay. >> We're going to give you a new court date as long as you have nothing else. >> Fix the ghost. >> Stop, Jewel. Stop it. >> Stop it. Nope. You're under arrest. [Music] >> Jewel, you missed court. That's your fault. >> I think I felt like before like this, too. >> Okay. What are you on? What are you on right now? [Applause] >> Stop it. [Music] >> Okay, that's okay. >> Don't do this. >> Stop. >> Don't do this to me. >> You got Let's go to the squad car. >> Yep. [Music] Jules's emotional state spiraled fast. She flailed, panicked, her body reacting like it was cornered. It wasn't defiance. It was survival mode gone haywire. This kind of meltdown is heartbreakingly common among people with past addiction or mental illness, especially those with trauma tied to drug abuse. >> All right, stand at the front of my squad car. Give me a new court thing. >> I don't know. But right now, the way you're acting, I could charge you with more things and have you just sit up in jail. So, knock it off. Knock it off. >> You have to cooperate with us. >> Stand right here at the front. Okay. >> Do you have anything illegal in your pockets? >> Do you have shorts on? >> No. >> So, you're naked underneath this. >> Why are you Why are you just wearing a short? >> I just got out of the shower. Please don't do this to me. Can you at least call them, please? >> Call who? >> Why am I busy today? >> You have a warrant. >> I wasn't. >> Cuz we already checked and you told me you scored. >> Are you high right now? >> No. >> What are you on? You're on something. >> Please don't. >> I'll hold her if you want to just make sure that there's no weapons or anything on her. >> Do you have any gloves? I do. >> Oh, yeah. Absolutely. Hey, stop pulling. You're making this You're making this more difficult. Okay, I'm going to charge you with resisting if you continue this. You have constantly been fighting us. This is your last opportunity to listen and to do what we say or you're going to get more charges. Do you understand that? >> Okay. My partner is going to search you. >> Okay. I need you to hold still and let her do that. >> No, you have to go to the jail >> cuz you have a warrant. Okay. So, what's going to happen? >> You're going to the jail because you have a warrant. >> So, what's going to happen? Am I going to be locked up? >> I don't know. >> What do you mean? >> I mean, I don't know, but exactly the words that I said. >> Stop pulling your arms. >> I know. I know. >> Cuz you have a long t-shirt on. >> You have a long t-shirt on. Okay. Officers had to search her thoroughly, fearing she might be hiding narcotics and could try to flush them or worse, ingest them in the back of the patrol car. If they'd missed anything, the consequences could have been deadly for her and the officers. That's how fast these situations can turn tragic. >> That's correct. Thank you. >> Yes, please. Sorry. She's been resisting the whole time. Okay, you are going to jail right now for a warrant. We will figure out what it is for. And when I know what it's for, I will tell you. And then I will tell you whether they're going to let you out today or whether you have to see a judge tomorrow. That's going to be up to them. Okay? I listen Joe, I need you to be honest, okay? Do you have any mental health conditions? >> No. >> Okay. Have you used any drugs today? >> No. >> When was the last time you used drugs? I have a used drug. >> Okay. Why are you acting like this? Because I have normal people. >> Because I have a warrant. You're locking me up for what? >> Yes. For a warrant. >> For a warrant. >> Most normal people don't act like this. >> I was I was court. >> You knew you me up like this? >> Yes. Okay. That's literally my job. >> You knew you missed a court date. Hey, Juel. You could have gone to court right now instead of just standing here waiting for your friend. Okay. Okay. >> All right. We're going to go to jail. You're going to be charged with resisting as well. Okay. >> Hello. >> Hi. This is also a call with the Bloomington Police Department. Are you Jules's mom? >> Yes, sir. >> Hi, ma'am. Um, your daughter asked me to call you. Um, she's been arrested for a warrant and for uh resisting police. >> Oh my goodness. Okay. Um, >> what can I do? >> Well, she's going to be over at the jail. Um, I'm trying to confirm right now with her warrant to see if she needs to see a judge or if she'll be ready to get picked up um here today. So, give me one second and I can let you know. Um, and then if she's going to be able to be released today, you can come pick her up at the jail. Well, she has to go to rehab. Um, she's not been home for the last few days and last time she came over here, she was under the influence. She tried to bring in drugs over here. We we she needs rehab. >> Yeah. No, I would agree. >> She's about 19 already. She's going to be 19 in four more months. >> What does she use? What drug is she using? >> Cocaine. >> Cocaine. Okay. >> Yes. But I know of that's what she's been using. I know she was in Harvey a while back and she overdosed on me like two times over there in Harvey on heroin. >> Okay. >> Police eventually called Jules's mother, but it was clear her hands were tied too. The family couldn't force her into rehab. And there it is again. That crushing reality when love alone isn't enough to pull someone back from addiction. Drugs don't just steal lives, they steal the will to come home or is this all drug? >> No, she's um she just got out of rehab. Well, ran away from rehab. She didn't successfully complete it. Mom had to go all the way to Indianapolis and pick her up and bring her back. >> Has been a while. >> Her mom today found a bunch of cocaine in her pants and she said she flushed it down the toilet. So maybe that's maybe Well, she said it was her dirty laundry. She was doing going through the laundry and doing it and found found that. So, she flushed it down the toilet. So, she said it was alcohol and now it's been more cocaine and she's like, "I don't know. Maybe it might be both." Yeah, I know. She's 18. So, I I am going to charge her with resisting then. It's all drugs, so that's on her. I don't know. I'm going to look at her eyes real quick. >> Okay, let me look at your eyes real quick. Okay, you follow my finger. Don't move your head. I'll follow my finger. You >> been drinking today, too? >> No. >> No. How much cocaine have you done today? >> I haven't done none. >> None today? >> No. >> When was the last time you did some? >> The last time I've been home. >> When was the last time you were home? >> Whatever. My mom say she doesn't like me though. That's why I leave the house. >> No, your mom loves you. She wants you to get clean. Right now you're acting a fool. Taking stuff you shouldn't. >> No, you are. And you're taking stuff you shouldn't take. And that's causing you problems. And that's why you're arrested. It's probably why you missed court yesterday. It's cuz you were high. >> No. >> Okay. >> No. You need to take responsibility for your own actions and knock this [ __ ] off. >> That's the truth. >> So, what's going to happen? >> You're going to go to jail right now and you're going to wait and you're going to stay all night in jail and you're going to see a judge tomorrow. >> Well, stop doing this kind of stuff. Okay. >> Please. No. That's what happens. All right, so we're done with this. We're going to take you to jail now. >> Let your stuff up and out. Okay. Going to >> walk around in this first door here. >> Take a seat on that bench. >> Am I going to leave today? >> No. I already told you because you missed court too many times. Now, the judge wants to talk to you. >> Juel was finally arrested and charged with resisting arrest, having an active warrant, and obstructing a law enforcement officer. If she keeps violating probation, or ignoring court orders, she could face serious prison time, or be ordered into mandatory rehab. What happens when these parents aren't fit to raise their own kids? The answer is heartbreaking and unavoidable. On August 3rd, 2024 in Ohio, police were dispatched to a domestic dispute between an unmarried couple living together with their child. The conflict had escalated to the point where legal intervention was no longer optional. It was necessary. >> What's going on, brother? >> Coming from upstairs. >> Okay. >> What happened, man? >> She's on bars and she's extremely up. >> All right. >> She's driving intoxicated right now. You'll see it as soon as she looks in her eyes. She has my truck. Yes, she bought it, but it's in my name, so technically that's my truck, right? >> You guys are married. >> No. >> No. >> I have two kids in the house, and she's being like that in front of two kids. >> I definitely get it, man. >> She's on her third domestic violence charge. I would like her to go to jail tonight for domestic violence. >> Okay. Yeah, we'll try and find her. Uh, >> and before you get here, she's going to say that I kicked this bookshelf over, which I didn't. And I have my 13year-old daughter, my 12-year-old daughter in here that can come down here and tell you. >> Yeah. >> Oh, yeah. She'll be in there all weekend. Yeah. I definitely want her in jail for domestic violence. >> Okay. Um, do you know where she might be going? >> No, she's running around hiding from you guys. >> And if she does happen to go to jail, is there any way you can possibly get my keys and bring them to me? >> Yeah. If we uh if we get her, um, we'll give you a call. And >> because I have two sleeping keys in the kids in the house, I can't get to them. >> We could drive the keys back to you. We could probably like park it somewhere and then drive the keys back to you. I can like drop them off at your house and then you'll just go get the car later if you need to. >> I mean, you you throw them right in the backseat of that car. I don't care. >> Okay. >> She thought I was playing, but I'm not. This is the third time she's put her hands on me. And any man, even you, I know you're a cop, but if a female puts her hands on you three times very violently, you're going to you're going to do something, right? >> Right. >> Did she hit you in your mouth? >> Yeah. I want domestic violence charges. She hit you with like your fist or >> she slapped you hand. I mean, >> how many times did she hit you? >> Three or four? >> Three or four? >> In your face. >> That's your Oh, I can I can explain it, too. It's a witness statement. So, you'll put your name. >> You'll put her name on this next line and then you'll explain to us what happened like what started tonight for you to call us. >> She has narcotics on her and >> when you see her, you will literally see how intoxicated she Well, if you find her, she's going to get all the whole thing on. >> Okay. >> Well, if if you don't find her and she comes back, don't open a door for her. Just call us back and then we'll come back out and she can be arrested. >> I hate doing this to her, but she needs help. I'd recommend any rehab instead of jail time. >> The man provided a clear account, offered evidence, and fully cooperated with officers, allowing them to quickly get a sense of what had happened. His mention of Xanax brought up another layer entirely. A possible case not just of domestic violence, but also prescription drug abuse. >> Hey man, where's she at? >> Going back at it. >> Where's she at, though? Right now. Hold on. Hold on. Where's she at? Where is she at? >> In the basement. >> Lead us to her. You don't have any weapons inside, do you? [Music] >> Hey, Destiny. >> Yes. What's going on? >> Okay, so he will not leave me alone. >> Okay, >> I'm sorry. I >> Who's he to you? >> Um he is my fiance. So this is >> Well, I don't want to you car to see my boobs. >> So this is what um he did to me. >> Um it's kind of easier to >> Okay, we can we can do that with the medic. >> Yeah. Yeah, we have a medic waiting for you. Keep your shirt on right now. Okay. >> You can see right here the bruise. Oh my god, it hurts so bad. >> It's just on your bruise. >> These like my legs right here. >> Okay. >> Um, go ahead and put your cigarette out. Okay. >> Oh, sorry. The the back of my leg right here. Hold on, baby. I know. I know. Come here. Come here. Come here. >> Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. >> Here we go. >> It's okay. We going to be your handcuffs right now. Okay. >> This is why we're figuring things out. >> Wait. He's the one who attacked me. >> We'll get that drink, please. >> Take a drink. >> Hurry up. Take a drink and then we're going to >> Yep. Set that down. Set that down. >> You see my bag, right? >> Yeah. >> You see how I lit, right? >> Yeah. >> All right. We had an accident yesterday and it's all in a report. All her marks are from the accident. What she says for me? >> She's highly intoxicated from what? >> Xanaxes. And if you look at her, you could tell. >> Okay. Did she smoke any marijuana in there, too? >> Yeah, I smoke marijuana. Yes. >> Oh, I don't I don't care. I was just wondering if she did as well. >> No, all she used is annexes. >> Okay. >> She prescribed them. >> No. >> Ron, >> can I please put everything in my >> I don't want to have anything. >> We'll deal with that. But in the meantime, >> both parties had visible injuries which only complicated things. So many moms think smoking around their kids is harmless, but the environment a child grows up in says everything. You can be poor, but being clean and stable is the first step in keeping your child safe from the chaos. >> Hey, sir. >> Yes, sir. >> Will you come here for a minute? >> Will you take your child, please? >> Hey, Jesse, can you talk to this officer for me? This is the other This is the other. Give it to him. Okay. >> The cops are here, and I need you to explain exactly what's going on. >> Can my baby, please not stay with him. He's very violent. >> Well, he's he's dad, right? He's the biological dad. Yes, but I have five other people ready to come get her. >> Okay. >> Okay. Well, we're going to figure that out in a minute. Okay. >> Yeah. Thanks a lot for you beating my ass. >> We're going to have one. >> Will you do me a huge favor? Just move to the side of the bed for me. >> Just leave it. Move to that side of the bed. >> I'm sorry. No. Come on. >> I got it. >> I'm just going to >> You're going to jail for a separate incident. It's not this incident. You're not going to jail for this. >> For what am I going to jail for? >> We're going to explain that to you in a minute. Okay. Is there any way they could be cuffed in the front? Like, I promise I won't run. >> We can't cuff it in the front. I got to do the same thing every time for everybody. But if you have a seat, medics will come take a look at you. >> How long it's going to be? >> Should I be in jail? >> No. I'm going to explain it. We're going to figure we got a bunch of things to figure out. Okay. So, we're going to we're going to look at a few things. Okay, ma'am. So, the medic's right here. I'm going to have you sit down and then you can talk to him and tell Explain to this officer what's what's going on. You requested one, correct? >> Yeah. So pretty much I was trying to get away from the situation and my fiance took my daughter out of the stroller, took her back in the house. I was gone all night taking care of my grandma because she has asthma and she was having a very bad episode. And he literally all he said was, "If you don't come home, I'm calling the cops. I got videos of you doing this and you doing that." No, he doesn't. There's only one camera and I unhooked it and I took the wire with me. But he said, "If you don't come home and talk to me right now, then I'm calling the cops and you're going to jail." Blah blah blah. He literally said, "If you don't come home right now, blah blah blah, then I won't call the cops and then we can just sit down and talk." He's acting like a big child. >> Destiny wasn't just arrested for what happened that day. She also had two active warrants hanging over her head. Her emotional reaction when handcuffed is understandable, but when there's a warrant, the law doesn't wait. The police had no choice, no excuses, no delays. >> Really quick, Destiny. Okay, hold up, Destiny. Hold on. >> What do you need these gentlemen here to check on me? >> You called them here. You >> requested like my back, like my legs. Like, they just hurt so bad. Like, I can barely walk. Like my my toe right there, my pinky, like everything hurts so bad. Like the leg. >> Destiny, have you taken anything today? >> No. >> You haven't taken nothing? >> No. >> No pills, Xanax. You haven't been drinking. He keeps saying that, but no, he has taken Xanaxes. He has drinking. He's taking pain pills. >> His mom gets pain pills and Xanaxes, the peach footballs, and uh cocaine, and he goes over there every day and snorts them with her. Is there any way you'll look in my bag and see if it's really bad? >> Okay, please help her. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> Okay. Just please be >> So, I don't understand why he's not going to jail, too, if he's going to beat my ass. So, you just got a little soft abrasion right here. It's going to heal on its own. You don't need to worry about that. >> But can you look at his back? >> Yeah. >> Like his back is way less worse than mine. Mine's way worse. >> Okay. Okay. >> Like the whole thing is is I was >> Okay. >> I was gone last night and he got mad that I wouldn't come home and he called the cops and he got his >> Oh god. >> Yep. Go ahead and move. Anyway, >> oh, I can pee before I go. >> No, you're going to have to hold it. >> Okay. >> Okay. I'll I'll make sure we get this through. Okay. >> But can my please go with my my family and not him. He's very abusive. He smacks the baby and throws her in her bed and like he's very abusive. >> Okay. Like >> we're going to we're going to double check. Okay. We're going to look at like I said, we're going to look at a few things and then we'll see what we're doing. >> Threw her across the room. >> Excuse me. Excuse me. I'm so sorry. I'm just >> listen for a second. >> Is there Is there any way you could turn the air up? >> What? What? >> Police proceeded to cross-ch checkck each party's story. An essential step when kids are involved. When there are claims of child abuse, the case almost always gets handed off to CPS to make sure the child is safe moving forward. That's just how serious it is. >> You call us here. >> Uh because she came back home and she was still I rate. She was still on Zax's and she told me to call you. She said she said she was going to call you guys because I beat her ass. >> Okay. >> So, nothing physical happened between you guys this morning. All that stuff happened last night. She just came back. >> No, this this happened this morning. >> Okay. What's that from, buddy? >> Her her pushing me away and me trying to walk away. >> Okay. Wear awake for everything that happened this morning. >> Yeah. That's why I would like you to talk to her. >> Would you mind going up and speaking with her real quick for me? Yep. Okay. >> Last night before she left, >> um, she put your she put her hands on you and there was like a big like red mark on your back and I was in front of you. I was like right there and there was like a bunch of yelling and stuff. >> Did she also throw the fan at me? >> Yeah. >> Did I put my hands on her whatsoever? >> Nope. And there is a shelf that she kicked outside that she broke. >> They can stalk me. Okay, >> we're we're leaving the day, baby. You don't have to deal with this no more. >> Thank God. >> Mom's probably going to go to jail. >> I'm going to teach you something. I say bye to my baby. >> Hold on. We have a lot of things we're figuring out real quick. >> Okay. I'm like I'm like drooling everywhere. >> Okay. Hold on a minute. Okay. Stop. >> You're going to get charged with vandalism. You're going to get a felony. >> I want to see my baby. >> That's all I want. >> I see my baby. >> So, here's the deal. This is going to No, >> I want my baby. Ow. >> No. I want my baby. Turn around and face me. >> No. >> Are you really going to go this route? >> I want you to give my baby a kiss and then I will cry. >> So that's not how this works. Okay. You're going to jail for incidents that happen. >> I will never be with you again. >> Stop. >> Never. Get out of my house. >> Stay right here. Stop. You want to see your child or not? >> Ow. You're hurting me. >> No, I'm not. I'm not. >> Yes, you are. You are hurting me. My shoulder. It hurts. >> You can put it on to stay off of the shoulder. >> God. >> When the daughter herself confirmed her mother's violent behavior, the entire case shifted, and Destiny's panicked, defiant attitude only made things worse. At that point, her choices weren't protecting her. They were sinking her. >> Because of the way you were acting. >> I just want to give my baby a kiss. He's already beat my ass, but I go to jail because I wasn't here last night and y'all believed him. Like, are you kidding me? Like, because he said I beat his ass and he put March on himself, I go to jail. How is that right? Can you loosen it just a little bit? It's too tight. >> Show me your hands. >> Look at them. If you're gonna >> Cappy, I never want to be with you. Come here. Give me a kiss. >> I told I told this cop if you start, I'm gonna take her from you. You don't have to be with me again. >> Give me a kiss. Give your mom a kiss. Take her big. >> You have her scared. >> Yeah, because of you. I never want to be with you again. Do not be here when I get back. >> I won't. Neither will my kids. >> Yeah, neither will Joe. Joe will find out. >> Okay. I'm getting emergency custody of my daughter. >> No, you're not. I will. >> No, you're not. I'll be in jail for a day. >> Can I get a seat? >> Hey. >> Yes. >> Okay. Your food stamp card. >> I want that with me. >> You want it with you? You don't want it with him so that way he can feed your child? >> No. >> Okay. >> Because he'll sell it all. >> Okay. >> She said no. >> In the end, Destiny was arrested and charged with domestic violence. But here's the real question. In situations like this, what's more important? Justice for the adults or the emotional safety of the child caught in the middle. Every reckless choice, missing a birthday, neglecting kids, or defying the law, comes with a price. What lesson do you take away from these stories? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
