County 9510. One at taser point. >> A child's cry pierces the silence. The swagger of those who mock the law and the ruthless acts that strip away the last mask of humanity. >> He's got his hands off. You said you were going to get in. Get in. >> I am. Shut up. >> You got about 3 seconds for what? >> From shattered families to schools in chaos to neighbors at war, no place escapes the spiral of disorder. Yo, >> door. Open up the door. >> Open up the door. >> I am going to break your door open. >> And when the lies collapse, when every illusion burns out, justice storms in. Cold, merciless, and right on time. >> Do you want to go with your mom? >> No. [Music] On April 12th, 2025 in Florida, police were called to the beach after an argument between a drunken couple turned into a dangerous disturbance affecting not only themselves but also their children. And what happened next will be hard for you to believe. >> Ma'am, >> would you >> That is the problem. My husband is wasted. He drove his truck from way down there to down here. I took the keys from him because you have the keys. Yes. Because he is wasted. Sweet. Is that him over there with the kid? >> Get my child from him and get my Uber and take take my kids home. >> Okay, hang out right here. Let me talk to him. What's his name? >> Chris. >> Chris. >> That's all I want. >> Have you been drinking? >> That's why I'm not driving. >> So, you're not you don't need to drive either. Okay. >> I'm not driving. I have an Uber for >> Okay. >> Thank goodness. Goodness gracious. >> What's up? >> Um, what are you? Uh, >> you you call you called me. What What do you need? >> Um, so, okay. What? What do you need? >> Let's turn this way. So, um, >> tell me why am I here? >> Shitty earlier. >> Okay. So, y'all y'all have both been drinking. Neither one of you need to drive. Y'all need to either get into an Uber together or separate Ubers and go home. And most importantly, we need to get these kids home someplace safe. >> Understood. She has my belongings. >> Okay. Y'all y'all are married, but y'all y'all have each other's. >> I guess this is a waste of time. >> Okay. I just want to make sure these kids are taken care of right now. >> Take my kids. For sure. Well, then tell her to get the >> Okay. So, so let's let's let them go. Are y'all y'all need to ride separately? >> She No, she doesn't want to give me a ride cuz he she says that they don't have clothes on >> and I don't have pants on. >> So, she doesn't want to give them rides. So, I'm going to I'm asking her to cancel the ride so I can get a new one, but I can't get a new one until she cancels it. >> But, she won't cancel the ride. >> Ask her. >> She's canceling the ride. I need you to calm down for your kids. >> She said, "I'll do." Do you understand me? >> Stop yelling in front of your kids. >> Go home for the last hour. >> I've been trying to get home. >> Do you understand that? >> For the last hour. >> Over here. >> First of all, I've got tickets to my rate crazy woman home. Okay. It's far away. I drove all the way here. So, I have to cancel. But I can cancel. >> Can you cancel for us so she can get the next one? >> I'm going to do it after I've waited because I don't get paid if I don't wait till the time is up. She can cancel it now. >> Okay. >> But I clean the line. >> But you are too yelling. >> My own time. I will. >> You can. You can cancel it too. You can cancel. >> From what seemed like a simple disturbance, the scene quickly turned into chaos. The intoxicated woman screamed, blamed her husband while the children stood in the middle of the tension. Then the testimony from a third witness suddenly revealed another perspective. >> Do you see each other or anything like that? I just got to ask. I was uh I parked down there. Walking this way to do some fishing. Come by. I didn't see anything. She was screeching. >> Get your hands off me. >> When I looked, nobody was in this for ridiculous. The kids are just so sad. >> And that's not you're not doing that with my keys. >> And I'm going to give them to you before I leave. that my kids are going. >> Let's get the vehicle in route. Let's get >> my kids are It's round. >> Okay, that's fine. Does it say anything about how long? >> Yeah. Please and thank you. >> Locating a driver. >> Okay, awesome. >> Like I said, it took me 30 minutes to get that ride. >> Please and thank you. >> It literally took me 30 minutes to get that ride. >> The whole reason for the phone call is because she was calling, "Hey, hell, because he put me in a chokeold." Let's Let's be honest. He put me in a choke hole, >> ma'am. >> Can I go get something to drink? >> Go get something to drink. >> Thank you. >> He did. He put me in a choke hole. That's why I'm yelling help. >> Quit engaging her. >> Quit. Just Just do it for me. For them. >> Stay on the road. Go this way, please. >> For them. Cuz they don't need to see this right now. That's That's all I care about. Y'all can bicker and spat all day long. I don't care. >> They don't need to see this. >> And you're right. >> Okay. Y'all have both been drinking a little bit. Doesn't matter who's been drinking more or whatever. Yeah, you're right. >> Y'all have both been drinking. Bad decision to come out here and they all both get drunk with the kids out here. That That's not a great decision. >> You're right. >> But y'all done with that. Let's take care of these two young men and make sure they get home safe. >> Yes, sir. >> Do you have a reason to believe they're in any kind of danger with her right now? She's She's agitated, but she's not violent. >> Okay. All right. Understood. Understood. I'm not throwing I'm not throwing stones here. Understood. Um, so with that said, uh, >> I need to I'm taking them home. >> If they want to go, I would absolutely let them go, but if they don't, then absolutely not. Okay. >> Do you want to go with your mom? >> No. [Music] >> Just saying. >> Allegations of domestic violence need to be taken seriously. However, the woman's loss of control only made the situation worse. The child's refusal to go with the mother was a clear signal of their feeling unsafe. You want to take an Uber to a different location? Your mom's house, your dad's house, your >> My family lives in Mississippi. >> Do you have anybody you can get a ride to or call? >> What most What is >> Uber to my house? >> If if if Uber comes and picks her and I guess the older kid up right now. >> Okay. Sorry. Sorry. What What is your game plan after that? >> To shut it down. I don't want to do this tonight, dude. And I never want to do this. I mean, when I say this, I mean, you know I mean, you can check the records. I mean, you know, every single time the police have ever been called, it's because, dude, she's the aggress. When I say that, dude, she she's the aggressor. I'm not trying to point fingers or pass blame or any of that [ __ ] dude. Do >> you want to try to get real quick? >> They're in my vehicle and I've got the door code to my stuff. >> Okay. Do you want to try to grab those? Cuz he said the Uber should be here in just a minute. >> Okay. Yeah. >> That way if you're not locked out of here and can't get it. Oh, >> okay. Yeah. Never mind, man. That's up to you, though. 15 minutes. >> 15 minutes. >> Been talking to him for the past 10 minutes. There's nothing that he's done that makes me feel like he's unccapable of that. >> He doesn't do a thing but drink and go to bed. >> That's all he does. >> Not stay with a drunk adult on the beach. >> You are also a drunk adult on the beach. >> I'm not. I also took a 2 and 1/2 hour nap. >> Okay. >> Before we even got in this vehicle. I worked night shifts at the hospital. I had a couple shots and I took a nap on the beach. Now I am fully coherent. >> The only thing >> of what's going on around me besides this man trying to come up with every excuse to why he's correct and why he's not in the wrong. >> Ma'am, the only thing that I'm going to enforce is he's not driving this vehicle. If he wants to go walk away and he wants the kid to go with him and the kid wants to go with him, that can happen. >> My son needs no home with me. He has no clothes. He has no shoes. He has nothing for when it starts to get cold out. >> While the husband focused on staying calm and putting the children's interests first, the woman acted in the opposite way. She yelled, blamed, and lost control, making an already tense atmosphere even more chaotic. The contrast between reason and emotion here showed that the conflict had gone far beyond control. >> So, you're going to have my son sit in the cold for an hour while he's naked almost to wait for an Uber. >> He does not have any clothes in this truck. >> No, he does not. >> Please stop yelling. >> He has nothing in this truck. >> He's asking you to stop yelling. [Music] >> Let's get him home with her. Say again. Let's get him home with her. It is getting cold out here, man. Let's just Let's just let him go home. >> Why don't you want Why don't you want to go home? >> Wait a second. Hold on. Hold on. >> Why is that? Why are you saying that right now? >> I'm not telling you to do anything. I'm asking you. I'm telling you. I'm asking you >> because I'm It is It is starting to get late. >> Sure. >> Would you send your They've apparently been home all day. >> Hold on. Hold on. Would you send your child home with her? >> I'm asking you a question right now. Would you send your child home? >> I don't know her that well. You know her. >> So, I have to say no. >> Okay. >> And I'm I'm And I'm not trying to be ugly and I'm not trying to be disrespectful. I'm asking you, Mr. >> Goble. >> Would you send your child home with her? >> If you could calm down for a second. He's calm. If we can get all four of y'all in a single Uber and send y'all home, that's all. He's not getting my Uber or He can order his own goddamn >> He can take the kid in a different Uber. >> He's not taking kid. I will go to jail behind him. >> And then he's going to take both of your kids. How does that solve? >> My mom will be on the way to get him real quick. >> No, she Mom doesn't have custody of a kid. >> Okay. So, y'all would rather allow father to keep custody. >> I'm not having this argu I'm not having a >> That's y'all though. That's y'all. Y'all would rather let a drunken dad see. >> The only person who has been belligerent since I've been out here is [ __ ] that y'all don't give two [ __ ] >> I do. You don't. >> That's the only thing I care about. Care about you. I don't care about him. >> I care about my goddamn kids and that's it. >> Then start acting like it. >> I do. Why do you think I'm fighting it so goddamn hard? >> If I didn't care, I would have already been gone. If I didn't care, I would have left him with that kid. When she declared, "I'd rather go to jail," she showed that she was acting on emotion rather than reason, putting anger above the safety of her children. This was a clear sign of disorderly conduct due to intoxication. From a simple argument, the situation escalated seriously and arrest became inevitable. >> He has no clothes. He has no shoes. >> He has not. >> So, he's calling a separate Uber for the sake of peace. >> It don't matter. He's My son's going with me. I don't trust >> You cannot make your son go with you. I can't wait till the day somebody snatches your ass up and send you to jail. Please. >> So, either take his Uber. >> Oh, I'm taking my Uber. I don't need you to tell me to take my Uber. I'm taking my Uber. My son has no shoes. He has no shirt. The temperature is dropping. It took me an hour to get this. >> Going to take a separate Uber with that kid >> because it's a civil matter. And what you're doing right now is being an [ __ ] Make a fool with yourself. >> You Everyone's going home. He's just taking a separate Uber with that kid. >> Okay. So, that kid needs to go in my Uber. >> Nope. >> That kid needs to go in my Uber. >> Nope. That kid said no. >> You can't tell me. >> That kid said no. >> You can't. Do not point. >> That kid said no. >> You got to go to jail. Stop. >> I'm walking to give my kid a kiss. >> That kid said no. >> I'm telling my kid bye. >> You're not going to shove me to the ground. I'm not taking my child. I'm telling him goodbye. Fine. I'm trying to You can stop being rough with me. Ain't nobody ain't nobody. Ain't nobody ain't nobody. >> I don't care. >> Too late. We got one. >> You guys want to take >> So, you're going to arrest me for asking to tell my kid bye? >> Nope. I'm arresting you for this orally intox. >> Okay. And I told you all I want to do is tell my kid goodbye. >> You're here screaming, hollering. >> All I want to do is tell my kid goodbye. I can't even tell my kid goodbye. >> You're causing a public disturbance. And I've told you several times. >> No, you didn't. You told me once. Nope. >> There was no several nothing. There was no sevil nothing. You can give my son his cell phone that's in your hand. >> Yeah. And you can take my cell phone with you. >> That one's his. That one's mine. They >> Nobody resisted. No reason to pull up on me that way, bro. You've been wronged this whole goddamn time. >> You're a >> In the end, the woman was arrested and taken to jail on charges of disorderly intoxication. This charge usually applies when someone loses control, yells, and disturbs public order while drunk. Later, she was released on bail after paying $150. Do you think this woman hated her husband more or loved her children more? Leave your comment below. And if you think that tragedy had already reached its limit, the trembling accusation of a 12-year-old girl would leave everyone in silence. On the night of March 23rd, 2025, a 12-year-old girl bravely called 911 in secret to report a domestic violence incident. Her father, drunk, angry, and threatening, plunged the entire house into fear. When police arrived, the situation was not just a simple argument, but a tragedy waiting to erupt. Hey, how you doing? What's going on tonight? >> My dog's husband. >> Okay, fine. What's What's he doing? >> I don't >> Do you know Brandon Chapinsky? >> You might want backup because he's acting like a [ __ ] >> Okay. How you doing, man? >> What you want? >> Hey, come on. Talk to me. >> No, I don't need to. >> All right. Well, what's going on tonight, man? >> You called me? >> I've been sitting here with you the whole time. Why the are you out here? >> Come out here and talk to me, man. >> No. Why the here? >> Okay. Somebody called. >> Here we go. Bye. >> No. No. County 95 saying, "Get me another unit out here. >> What you going to do? You can't do [ __ ] Get a warrant. >> Come out here, man. >> You want to play? >> We're not We're not doing that. >> Come out here and talk to me. Move. >> We're not doing this. >> You want to play? >> I don't want to play anything. >> I'm not slamming the door. >> We're not doing this. >> Who called you? >> Don't Don't ball your fist up with me, man. >> Oh, I'm holding my thumb. >> Okay. >> You if I want to ball my fist up back here, you're not here to talk to me, man. >> I'll push you in the ground. >> You're not That's not going to happen. >> You want to bet, >> man? I'm just trying to see what was Someone was concerned. Somebody called >> who? >> It doesn't matter who. >> Yep. Now who? >> It doesn't matter >> who called. >> It doesn't matter, man. I just want to make sure everyone's safe. >> Yep. Everybody's safe. Thanks for stopping. >> No, that's not how this is going to work. >> How many people are in the house? >> Step step up here and threaten me one more time. Take one more step and now you're threatening and I'm going to put you in the ground. >> All right, here's what's going to happen. >> Here's somebody called 911. I'm here to make sure everything's all right. >> Okay. Everything >> I'm going to talk to everybody in this house. Yeah, everything's fine. >> All right, I'm not. >> From the very beginning, the man showed the typical mindset of a controlling abuser. His arrogance and disregard for the law were clear in his refusal to cooperate with police. He even deliberately blocked officers from entering the house and making contact with the children, escalating the tension further. >> You hit my door one more time, I'm going to put you in the goddamn dirt. All right, you can step out of the way and I can talk to the rest of people in this house. That's what's going to happen here. >> No, no, you can't. >> You're not in charge of this is what's >> Yes, I do. >> Get your hands out of your pockets >> or what? >> Get your hands out of your pockets. >> Why? Oh, I'm going to hit you with a napkin. >> I don't know what's in your pocket. >> Oh, I don't own a gun. I don't have guns. I hate guns. The reason being because I >> No, everything's fine. Everything's cool. >> I'm not asking you. I'm asking to talk to the rest of the people in this house. >> You ain't going to talk to my kids. >> I am going to I am going to talk to them. >> No, you ain't. Who the who do you think you are? >> Look, I don't know you when you don't know me. >> Exactly. And I'm telling you you ain't talking to my kids. How about that? And you know who the I am. >> I don't know who you are. I've never met you in my life. >> [ __ ] Because you you threw it over the >> You can come out here and talk to me is what can happen. >> No. If I walk down these stairs, me and you going to rascal. >> That's not going to happen. I'm telling you that right now. >> No, because you're going to try to put your hands on me. >> Well, I'm >> and I'm going to put you in the >> I'm concerned for both my safety and the safety of last people in this house. >> I didn't touch nobody. >> I didn't ask you. >> So, get in your little patrol car and get the out off my property. That's not going to happen. >> You want to bet? >> I told you what's going to happen >> because I just told you get the >> I don't care what you told me. I'm here because somebody >> trying to drive. Get the out of here. >> I don't care what it is. >> Oh, you don't care. >> Have you not realized that you're not in control of this situation? >> I am in control. >> You are not in control. >> You want to bet? >> So, you can let me talk to the rest of the people. >> No, you won't talk to my kids, man. >> You want to come talk to me? You are not going to stop her from talking to me. That's not going to happen. If she wants to go around the other way, she can talk to you. >> If I come down these stairs, me and you are going to rrestle. >> We We are not going to wrestle. I can guarantee you that. >> Despite patient explanations from the officers, the man continued to deny any problem and refused to cooperate. His defiant attitude turned him into a threat when negotiation no longer held value. The decision to arrest was made and a dramatic confrontation followed. >> Bye. >> All right. Do not do not close that door. You walk up these stairs and you come up one more, I'm going to take that as a threat. And now I got every right to put you in the ground. >> That is not how this is. Do not >> do not >> do not what? >> Do not step away from me. Step away from me. >> You can't do [ __ ] to me in my house. >> Get down the stairs now. Get down here. >> You can't do nothing to me. >> Johnny 9510. Want a taser point? Open the door. Open the door. Where's he at? >> You can't do anything. You're not allowed in my house. >> Get in here. Get over here. >> Get your hands. Get your hands up now. >> I am not doing this. Get youring hands up. Get youring hands up. >> Get your We're past this. Get youring hands up. >> Get your hands up. >> I'm being dead. >> Turn around. >> Stop. Turn around. >> Stop. I got a King Corso. >> Get Stop. Stop. >> Get your hands up. >> Let's go. Let's go. >> Turn around. Stop coming towards me. >> I I I'm I'm coming to talk to you. >> Get youring hands up. Turn around. >> You're not allowed in this house. >> Turn around. Turn around. Get your hands behind your back now. Does that look like your back? >> Yep. They're behind my head. They're behind me. Hey, hey, hey. [Music] Do not move. Do you understand me? Get your other hand back here. Even with the cuffs locked, the man still tried to justify himself. He refused to admit any wrongdoing, constantly accusing the police of using excessive force and violating his rights. But instead of proving his innocence, that behavior only exposed a defensive, blameshifting, and extremely stubborn mindset. >> Not lose your hands. Do you understand me? >> Shut you get off your power trip real quick, bud. >> You put you need to stop or you're getting ready to go back on the ground. Enough. >> It would have been simple had you just sat down. >> Get get your hands off me, please. I haven't given him any gun. Is that why he had to point a taser at you? >> Oh, what? When he walked in my house unlawful. [Music] >> We're here for a disturbance. >> When he when I >> sit down. >> Have a seat. >> No. >> Have a seat. >> Oh my. You just slam my mother. Who the >> Get in the seat. >> Who the you think you are? You slam my head off the wall. If you'd sit down, you get >> Get in the seat. >> Get Get off me and I'll I'll get in. Get your hands off me, [ __ ] >> He's got his hands off you. You said you were going to get in. Get in. >> I am. Shut up. >> Yeah, you do. >> You got about 3 seconds before we put your hands back. I'm going to put hands back on you and make you get the seat. >> Sit down. >> I'm in. >> Get your You You a big motherucker, aren't you? When when tough on someone's back. >> How you been? >> How you been, big guy? >> How's it going? >> He's like that all the time when he drinks. >> Yeah, >> man. >> I imagine you you would know. >> Yeah, I know him too well. >> He called. Well, the kid called. >> The kid called? >> Yeah. >> That's fine. I'm fine. Charges. >> Tina, are you okay? >> Yeah. >> All right. >> I I'm I'm not upset that he's going. I'm very grateful. But he's going to get every lease and come right his back. So it's going to do us no good. He punches holes in our walls cuz look at all these fireh halls. >> The man repeatedly threatened to take down the officers and even declared he would sue if pushed against the wall. The tension subsided only briefly, but when his wife spoke up, the atmosphere of fear returned. Clearly, this was not a final victory, only a temporary calm before the next storm. >> One of the innocent he raises his voice over your and call 911 so he doesn't know that I did it because I can't get by myself long enough just to get him to go cuz I can't stand the verbal abuse and him breaking everything every time I blink. >> Yeah. You know you're you're a little ass dog. I guarantee it. And I will press charges on this mother. They let you out cuz I'll let my dog out. I don't need to. And my dog is going toing you. Trust me. They can't do [ __ ] to me. I didn't do anything wrong. >> All right. Well, what did he break? What did he break tonight? >> Nothing yet. >> Okay. >> I'm just slamming everything around. So, you know, it's it's getting ready to You see, this is how he fixes holes when he scotch tapes them and [ __ ] I can't even use my stove because he flung [ __ ] across the kitchen uh a couple weeks ago and shattered the glass of the stove. >> You ain't going to want thising lawsuit cuz y'all going to get a lawsuit. Trust me. Slam my [ __ ] face, walked in my house with no warrant. threatened to tase me. Let's see how that [ __ ] holds up in court. >> I feel like I can't I feel like I can be out here when he's not here. Cuz when he's not here and I'm out here, I can just like sit here and chill with my mom and everyone else and I'm I'm fine. But as soon when he's here, I feel like I can't do that cuz he pesteres me or bothers me or yells at me for something. So, I kind of just stay in my room the entire time. >> Okay. So, what do you what do you want done? What what do you want to happen here? >> I want I want to know how I can get him just out of >> In the end, the man was taken to jail and charged with domestic violence and resisting law enforcement. If convicted, he could face prison, probation, and financial penalties. The case also raised civil legal issues concerning child protection, including the possibility that the mother would be granted a restraining order against the suspect. That family tragedy had not even closed when another child chose to rebel and the price was paid immediately. On May 26th, 2024, police were dispatched after a report of a serious traffic accident. The cause was not a slippery road or a vehicle out of control, but something that happened inside the car itself. A passenger attacked the driver, his own brother, then yanked the steering wheel, sending the car into chaos. >> Who was involved? Who was involved? >> Hold on. Stop. We're not doing this. All right. Hold on. It's okay. >> No, I drunk. You're fine. >> I'm so drunk. I did some cocaine. >> You're fine. All right. >> What's going on? >> My vehicle. >> Okay. >> Um, my son was driving my other son to a farm cuz he had been drinking at a house. >> Where's the nearest 35? >> He's just going to try to get himself. We just had him in the >> Hey, get out the road. >> Come here. Come over here. Yeah, sir. I'm drunk. [Music] Why are you freaking out like this? What the hell? >> 445. One missain. >> Why you freaking out like this? Huh? >> Huh? Why you out like this? >> BMW. Is that A3 right there? No. That [ __ ] [ __ ] Hey, [ __ ] >> Here. Hey, >> you about to get taped, dude. You understand me? All right. All right. >> Stop that [ __ ] You hear me? >> Get in the [ __ ] car. >> Get in the car. >> You got it. >> Sit down. See your weapon going? >> Got his waistband. Oh, people. >> What's your name? You look familiar. >> Well, people >> from the very beginning, the suspect fell into a state of losing control both physically and mentally. His resistance and provocative words only showed that this approach was completely ineffective and that the risk of escalation was imminent. In the middle of all this, the suspect's mother continued recounting the events. >> Hello. So my oldest son, this is my other son, he offered to drive him out to our farm cuz he was drinking. He was getting a little loud at our house. We live here. Yes. >> And so he's like, "I'll drive him." I was like, "I'll drive him." He said, "No, I he didn't want him alone with me." So he offered to drive. He got to like right here and he said he just went crazy and he just like attacked him while he was driving. So I don't know you can explain. He's just upset cuz that's his brother obviously. >> I got you. He attacked him as they went to get into the He just, you know, thank God no long, but >> my husband's on his way. He's at work, >> right? >> We live right in here. >> Where's the other vehicle involved? >> No other vehicle, right? >> No other vehicle. >> He avoided you need an ambulance, man. >> You don't need You don't need one. >> So, you don't need How old are you? >> 91. Okay. >> Oh, is he 21? He doesn't have an ID. Lost his phone. Like I said, he just got out of Meridian. And I feel terrible for even letting him. I should have just I don't know. My husband wasn't there. Mom lost my car. Why is my car freak? >> Hey, so apparently uh >> they were riding down the road. I guess this kid's been drinking, so he offered to drive him somewhere cuz I guess he was getting hostile to his family or something. And Oh, damn. They hit the sign over there, too. >> Yeah. Yeah. Oh, they Okay, so that came from right there. I guess that's what >> Huh? Did they hit this pole? >> Yeah, I'm sure they hit the pole, bro. >> Yeah, for now. >> Yeah. Can I get one? My man, do you have an ID on you? >> No, sir. >> Is it in the car or you just don't have one? >> Okay. >> I can have my daughter bring it. >> It's all good. >> Yeah, I ran that. The matter did not stop at just a simple traffic accident, but revealed a clear family tragedy. Even while sitting in the patrol car, he remained stubborn, refusing medical assistance. When police spoke further with his mother, the reasons behind his unstable behavior gradually came to light. >> Hey, you need an ambulance for any reason? >> Huh? >> You need an ambulance for any reason? Oh, I don't need ambulance. >> What's up? I don't need an ambulance. >> Cuz y'all were in a crash? No. >> You know, you don't. >> No. Yeah. >> Okay. All right. [ __ ] >> He's on. >> Oh, I was talking to him. I said I'm not a >> What's he used? >> Sorry. >> What's he used besides alcohol? Meth. >> Well, not >> not recently. >> Well, he's acting like he's on it right now. >> His head's been >> If he is, I don't know how because he's like unless he doesn't have a phone. He's been out to our farm and back and we're his transportation. Like >> I don't think he matter. >> But he acts crazy. He's pulling out of here. >> Boom. Yeah. At least >> I'm sure I'm assuming this is mama's car. Daddy's car. >> Mama's car. I guess >> you probably >> Oh, it's her right here. Yeah, >> that's mama. >> Yeah. >> Oh, okay. >> This [ __ ] held up, huh? >> There ain't no damage to that. Well, >> this thing want >> What is that right there? >> I don't think it's anything. >> That's a ground. >> Yeah. So, it's no longer ground. So, what happens is these run down into the ground. That's how they ground up. >> Are you electrician, too, man? >> I worked in Puerto Rico for the nature of this. >> It is. >> We will still need to work it as a domestic. >> Yeah. So the domestic part of >> Well, they have no choice. >> Oh, sorry. >> If we take the 93 since he was since the victim was a driver, will they come do a crash report? >> Well, that's what I'm going to ask them when they get here and see. If not, we'll take the car here. Let's Let's not do any of that. Okay. Okay. >> What? >> All that hitting the car. Okay. >> And what? >> Hitting the car. Don't hit the car. >> I ain't hit the car. >> Okay. Well, I guess I >> bar in the car. >> Huh? >> I hit the metal bars in the car. >> Okay. Well, let's don't hit that either. Okay. >> Well, I didn't touch the bags. >> Okay. I I don't know if you're following me. Don't touch. I'm not following you. Don't. Yeah. Well, I'm going tell you about >> Although he appeared calm on the outside, the threat of violence from the suspect was always present. His sudden act of punching the car was not only destructive, but also showed deliberate resistance. Ignoring all warnings forced the police to use stronger measures, including pepper spray, to bring the situation under control. >> I'm going to tell you, I'm going to pepper spray you if you hit your car. >> Pepper spray me. >> Okay. I'm going to pepper spray you. >> Yes, sir. I don't care. >> Okay. I don't care if you don't care. I'm gonna tell you to get in the car. Okay. >> Yeah, I'm in the car. >> Okay. If you hit my car again, we're gonna pepper spray you. That's all. >> If you hit my car again, we're gonna pepper spray you. >> Put your move your feet. I told you not to hit the car. >> Hit the car. You can get air. You can get air. You can sit right there. Sit down. >> Sit down. I need some fresh air. >> Okay. Well, you're getting fresh air right here. But you're not going any further. Okay. >> I asked you not nice I asked you very nicely to not hit the car and I told you what the consequences were. Did I not? >> Okay. And it's right here on my camera that I asked you nicely. Okay. >> The use of pepper spray ended the resistance from a state of aggression and violence. The suspect fell into helplessness, left with no option but to comply. Though his face showed obvious pain, the situation was now under control. From out of here some deep some You got some water? Somebody got some water? Y'all got some water? You got some water? I just going to flush his eyes out. >> I don't work. All right, open your eyes. Open your eyes. >> They good. >> Better. Hold on. Nope. Do it again. >> Do it again. See if they can go to that. >> All right. >> Uhhuh. >> You got We'll get a glove and see if we can wipe them. Okay. Turn around. Just get you some fresh air. I'm going >> now you're taking that like a champ. >> Hey, you got any water, trooper? >> I don't lean forward if you're going to spit. >> Can you watch him? I'm going to go see if I got some water in my car. >> I'll get some gloves. In the end, the young man was taken to jail and charged with resisting law enforcement, disorderly conduct, and criminal mischief, damage valued between $200 and $1,000. If convicted, penalties could include prison time, probation, and/or restitution. If the young man's outburst forced the police to act, the cruelty of the woman that followed would leave society trembling. At Maria Yates School on November 8th, 2024, police were called to investigate an incident that shocked both parents and the school administration. Surveillance video showed a female teacher's aid engaging in unacceptable behavior toward a student. And when police arrived, the situation became more tense than ever. How you doing? I'm >> good. How are you? >> Good. Let's go inside and talk for a minute. Is there five on this door for us to get in >> over here? We What about this one over here? >> Uh, it might be I don't know. >> I'm getting some information that there was an incident that took place today uh in the hallway. I'm gathering more information on that, but until um I do that, which I'm getting now, I need you to sit tight and you're not going to be free to leave right now. But that's what the incident that took place in the hallway with one of the students. >> Correct. But what am I being detained for? >> I just told you because of the incident that took place in the hallway with one of the students. I understand that. I understand that. >> So that's why you're being detained. That's why you're not free to go cuz I'm looking into this matter. >> Okay. But for what though? What is I'm trying to understand what's being investigated. >> The incident of what took place. >> The incident of what took place. I understand that. What is being investigated with the incident? >> The handling of it. >> Okay. >> Do you feel as if that was appropriate >> to chase a student down to get into class? >> And then what happened from there? >> I put him in the classroom. He laid out on the floor, but I did put him I put him in. >> Did you drag him? I had a hand on him. Absolutely. And he he was resisting. Yes. I didn't drag him. >> Twist. I need you to also show me. And that's what I need to look further into. But I'm going to tell you only it looks as if you drug him. And it also looks like there was a kick involved. >> A kick. >> Yes. >> So >> this is crazy. >> So for right now, I'm going to sit in here. >> And can I ask who asked for it to be investigated? >> It's a kid. >> Well, no. I understand that, but I'm just asking. >> District administration. This is coming from the top. >> Am I allowed to have my mother? >> How old are you? >> I'm 26. >> She's in the building. >> Half or what? Half or what? Like with you? Yes. >> No, she can obviously be in the building. We're not going to stay in here right now. I just obviously don't want to discuss this in front of everybody. >> I would rather be it be discussed in front of everybody else. So, I have somebody letting me somebody else witness to the conversation. >> Well, well, there's a big witness right here that that's being recorded. Okay. There will be another officer here momentarily, but unfortunately no. >> From the very first moment, there was no sign of remorse in the woman's attitude. Instead, there was blatant denial, which only made others more frustrated. She kept talking, not to explain, but to cover up and hide the truth. It was a clear sign of deliberate manipulation. >> I have you on speaker phone. I have Officer Brady here. I I believe charges against this instructional assistant would be warranted. Is that something that you would want on behalf of your son? >> Yeah. If he did something um to hurt him or something he didn't supposed to do. Yes. >> Okay. I I don't >> No, I don't know the full details cuz I just came to work. >> So, I haven't got home yet to see my son. When I take a break, I'm going to go home. Actually, I'mma call my daughter phone so I can try to talk to him. >> Okay. because um he didn't get off the bus until after I'm obviously at work. So I don't know the full details, but I want to know. >> But we're at a point now that I think I would be taking her into custody prior to me taking action. >> Yes. Okay. >> I am. >> This is what's getting ready to happen later. You're getting ready to taken into custody. You're going to be charged with at least one count of battery and probably child endangerment. I will go over more with what exactly a charges will be when I get to the station. Officer is going to uh put you in handcuffs. She's going to obviously pat you down. She's going to transport you through the intake process. When we get to the safe, when you all get to the station, you want to finish talking to building administration and district administration and I'll be also a parent of the child. You have any questions for me? No. Go ahead and put your hand in hand. >> Okay. >> So, when you go in there, tell her you arrested me, too. >> I just got to check and make sure you don't have any weapons or objects that we can't have. >> Having your ID will help expedite this process. Are you going to like get it from your mom? >> Not unless you going to tell her that you arrested me. >> You're an adult. >> I don't care if I'm an adult or not. >> You just sit overnight then. I'm trying to help you out, young lady. But but but but hold on, hold on, hold on. I've been nothing but cool with you. You had barely explained it. I >> I did explain to you talking about an incident in the hallway to ask for more details and you're like, "An incident in the hallway." An incident in the hallway. An incident in the hallway. I'm asking for more details. You keep saying an inc. >> Are you going to let me talk or you going to keep talking over me? >> I wasn't done talking. You were trying to cut me off, but I'm done. Don't worry about it. I'm done. I explained it was an incident with you dragging a kid. I stated that twice. You know exactly the answer in >> When she learned that the student's mother had agreed to file charges and the police informed her she would be arrested, her mindset shifted from denial to helplessness and panic. Her voice became more trembling and she began to offer weak excuses. Watching her behavior, it was clear she did not believe she was wrong in this matter. >> How many times did you get the information? Did you receive the information you were looking for? I told you I was I was I was for me. >> I was investigated an incident that I was informed of. I told you I needed to get more details. So, I'm going to ask you this part one more time. Having your ID will help expedite this. Do you want me to get it from your mom or would you like to sit in jail longer? >> Actually, it's in my car now that I'm thinking about it. It's not even in there. So, my purse is in the car. So, my car. >> Does your mom have access to that? >> If she has my keys. >> Does she have your keys? >> She might. Yeah. >> I don't know because I let my sisters drive my car. So, I don't know if she has my keys or if my sisters took my car. Okay. All right. You mind live? >> Yeah. Yeah. I was going to do that anyway. Okay. >> I'll walk with you though. >> Moving down the hallway approximately 10 15 ft. Pushes him into the classroom. Hello. >> And kicks him. >> What is she dragging him by his clothes? >> His arm. His arm is >> his arm and the column. >> So the one in the white is she carry or he kind of holding the kid first >> on the leg. He was on the ground. >> It look like he has his arm around him >> like this. He explained a pain on his elbow. He said that his head was hurting. His response was that because class was boring, so he elopes. He has an IEP, so he leaves the classroom space often, he stated that he left the classroom space because he was bored. However, right before the incident was reported, we did hear a call from one teacher to the person who dragged him to to over the walk. She's not assigned to him. I don't know why that call was made to her, but a a person called for her to respond to him being outside the classroom. >> Have did you speak with your son? >> Yes. >> She Okay. >> Yeah. He was saying that his arm was hurting. Um >> did you see him at all? >> I haven't seen him. I haven't been home cuz I had um I had to um go to work. So he going to be off the bus and after I'm already gone. So my daughter was there. So he was telling her what happened when I called. She put him on the phone. >> And what did he tell you? He said that she threw him against the wall. She dragged him in class and then she kicked him in in the class. He said he don't know if she was kicking his leg so she can shut the door. I don't know if he was not letting her shut the door or what. I don't know. But that's what he told me. So if that happened in the hallway and pulling in the other stuff, they got cameras. They should be able to see that. But in the class, he said that she kicked him. >> Did he say how many times? >> No, I didn't ask nothing. Just said she was kicking me. >> After you get your ID out, you were able to get him on the phone. He was telling me she look like a boy or something like she I don't know the person. I don't know the name. I don't know how they look. He's trying to describe the person to me but um I don't even know who that is. He told me he was trying to get some water and he wanted to say hi to the coach and I'm like but if you in class you should be in class. >> The officer used the school's surveillance video to show the mother the truth. These visual images not only clarified the situation but also reinforced the credibility of the entire case. In particular, the boy's testimony matched the video completely. Knowing that the student had ADHD made the woman's actions even more unacceptable. >> I mean, obviously, I don't know. I didn't see much of the preceding. I what I saw for they were standing in the hallway. Um, your son, it was another kid and then I believe it was three adults and they were walking down. They they stopped to have a little bit of a conversation. Then, for whatever reason, your son starts to run and she said she starts running behind him. She catches up to him, grabs him by like the the collar of the shirt. I the way it appears obviously I'm not there. I can't hear >> and you you see it, but the way it appears, the momentum of her catching up to him and grabbing him by the shirt, I think is what actually made him fall to the ground. It's not as if she like picked him up and throws him down or, you know, does one of those motions. I think it was she was running, grabbed him, and then the the momentum of her trying to bring him back, he hit the ground. based on that. Unfortunately, after he does hit the ground, she doesn't stop with him and just hold him or come right. She continues down the hallway. Drag him. >> Yes. By the in the arm area, get to the classroom, opens the classroom door. She She gets to the door, kind of I'm not going to say throws him in, but kind of swings him into the classroom. He's she's still on the ground. Uh legs closer to the door, I do believe. and if he's very observant and and aware of what's happening for him to say that he think that she was he was kicked because she was trying to get the leg cuz that's what I believe and that's what I think they school admin believes too for the initial but it appears as if there was another kick if it actually makes contact but just see the leg motion because obviously there's no classroom yes of a of a kicking motion >> but even if you trying to get a kid in class why are you kicking this way she could call the guys Mr. hunt anybody help like you kicking him like he a dog get in the class like he is bad my son is on medication he got ADHD I gave him medication this morning I don't know what's having to happen but I know teacher was telling me probably after one close to two it wears out so I don't know what's happening >> in her statements the mother expressed heartbreak and helplessness over her son being abused when she and the officers analyzed the situation they emphasized that no excuse could justify violence both agreed that the teacher's aid's actions were excessive and went against the basic foundation of education. >> Just like I am, I work with people. I'm working in thirst to home. Even at schools, you are trained to work cuz you got different kind of people, different kind of kids. You do not drag them. You do not kick them. If they being like that already, you might have to stop step back for a moment, not let them hurt yourself, but go get help. They have walkie-talkies. They call each other. So, I don't even know this person, and I don't even understand. Even his teacher, she deals with him. She know how to put him in his way. That's why I love the class he's in. He's on the honor roll now and he's not running out to school like he used to. She know how to deal with him. She black and she know how to talk to him to get him to do things. >> And like I said, she drags him. I said catches him about here. Classroom is back over here. You know, it's a wall there. So she she drags him down the hallway like she goes into the doorway of the classroom and everything else is happening here. Now, no. Right. So these people I know wouldn't have been able to see this. Now, the drag, if they continued to watch, they possibly probably would have saw that, but I can't say for sure, but I don't know what they were doing after they started running. And as far as the people in the classroom, they obviously wouldn't have saw the drag since she would have saw the kick if they were looking at the door. >> But again, I definitely don't know what's happening there because >> the same man why he didn't report that, why he didn't say anything to the principal. >> So, that that would be a question. >> But he the one called me and my son wasn't abused. I never hit him in the mouth. saw a quick glimpse of the video and I actually I went and stopped the young lady immediately to make sure she didn't leave while I finished getting arrested information and that's when I called you. I need to make I was hoping you were going to say well I said hoping I was figuring you would say you would want to pursue charges on this but obviously I have to hear that from you versus your son and when she said yes she was taking in custody. >> So what did she say? >> I have not had I have not had a chance to I've only briefly spoke with her. I spoke with her when I when I first told her she was being detained. I let her know, you know, being detained, I'm in the process of investigating the incident in the hallways. And she said, "Well, what incident?" And we're a little more detailed, but she is in custody. She is going to be charged. Looking at possibly two charges, you're not going to be charged. You're looking up. We have to charge based on on what we see. >> In the end, the woman was arrested and faced charges of two counts of assault and one count of endangering the life or health of a child. What do you think would be the appropriate punishment and lesson for this woman? Leave your comment below. When the cruelty of a teacher was exposed, another woman believed she stood above the law. On April 22nd, 2023, police stopped a vehicle after discovering that the female driver was speeding and using a car with expired registration. At first, it seemed to be just a simple traffic violation. But what happened next led to an unexpected situation, forcing officers to take stricter action. >> Can you open this one? Does it roll down? Can Can you roll this one down? Does it not open? >> Can you come outside? >> No, I'm standing I gota I'm talking to on this side. Can you roll this down all the way? Can you roll it down more for me, please, so I can talk to you? >> Yeah. >> So, yeah, all all the way down, please. >> Can you come this side? >> No. Okay. So, Officer K, I know the reason I stopped you for your speed and your tags expired. Can you please roll the window down all the way? >> Um, how far is all the way? >> All the way. Like all the way down. >> Sorry, I don't understand what the all the way is. Okay. Let me get your license from you. >> No, I'm just No, I'm literally asking you >> all the way down >> like to Okay, >> thank you. I >> Where you headed to tonight? >> Home. >> Home. Yes. >> Do you have uh insurance in the car as well? >> All right. I appreciate it. Thank you. >> Um here. Um can I give you the email version? >> Yeah, if you have it on your phone, that's fine. >> Perfect. Yeah. >> Where are you coming from? >> My home. >> You're going home and you're coming from home? No, I came out and then my friend had a birthday party and she had a situation and I went with her. >> How much have you had to drink tonight? >> How much have you had to drink? Tonight? You just not going to answer or cuz you've got a couple empty shooters on the ground right there. It looks like three of them. You can't have one, two, three, four. >> I don't. So, like I explained to people previously, I don't most people multiple people that drive my car. So, >> okay. It doesn't matter. You're still in possession of it. Okay. >> I understand. No problem. >> It's not I mean, it's probably just not a good idea even if someone else is drinking them in your car to leave them there. Okay. >> I got you. I understand it. I thank you for your your concern. >> Okay. I'm going to run back to my car real quick. Just do me a favor. Hang out here. I'll be right back. Okay. >> Okay. Let me call my lawyer. >> Oh, you know, I'm not going to tell you. >> From a few empty liquor bottles, a traffic violation turned into a suspicion of driving under the influence. The woman invoked her right to remain silent, but her refusal to answer directly only fueled suspicion, and right in the middle of the tension at 3:00 a.m., she insisted on bothering her lawyer. Hello. >> Yes. >> I'm just going to see if you have your insurance for him. >> One second. You >> want to look at it? >> Oh, yeah. Absolutely. >> Okay. Yeah. Come. Come on. Come on. Come in. Zoom in. >> Zoom in. I don't Are you asking me to zoom? >> No, I'm asking you anything. You're standing over me while I'm talking to my brother. >> Oh, no. Yeah. Well, yeah. I'm just here to see if you have your insurance on. >> Oh, I have my insurance. I gave you my insurance already. >> You never showed them your insurance. Dude, it's like five people that came over to my car already. >> It's only me and the officer that stopped me. >> Okay, thank you. >> Like they harassing me. Like, what the is going on? >> How am I harassing you, >> bro? >> All I ask was for your insurance. That's it. >> I have my insurance. I gave you my insurance card already. >> No, you did not. >> My apologies. My apologies. >> No, you're fine. This is just >> No, I'm not I'm not saying anything. My brother is coming. He has the insurance all this stuff for you. Okay. >> He has the insurance? Yes, he has my insurance for the car, everything. He's like, we live 2 minutes away from He'll be here in 1 second. >> Got you. Okay. I'm just concerned cuz I mean you told me that you showed it to me just now twice, but now you're saying that your brother has the insurance. >> Yes, I did show his insurance card, too. The officer prior to you. >> Okay. Was that one expired or something or >> No, it wasn't expired. >> Okay. Um, does he have the insurance? >> Yes, he has it. And I have it in my car. My phone. My phone is about to die, so I didn't want to do too much. Gotcha. Okay. >> Was there something going on or what happened? >> Oh, I don't know why he stopped you to be honest with you. >> Can you find out? >> I just got you. He'll be out here in just a second. >> Okay. >> You should find out before you just hover over people like his like stupid. >> No. So, typically um especially in night shift, we just have two offices when normally uh we pull over our vehicle. >> Any luck on the insurance? >> No, she actually said that. Um >> she gave it to you. >> You don't you never gave me the insurance? Did you have any luck pulling it up? >> So, I didn't give you Sure. >> You don't remember not giving me anything? >> Don't worry. My brother is coming right now. >> No, no, no, no. One's going to come. >> Through conflicting statements about insurance, the female driver exposed dishonesty and a lack of cooperation. When cornered, her confident facade collapsed, replaced by confusion and anger. Her stubborn refusal to step out of the car left her facing the inevitable outcome, being arrested. >> That's my lawyer. >> Okay. So, what I'm going to have you do is step out. No, no, no. Step out. >> Bro, you can't pull out my car. The >> Bro, you can't pull in my car. I'm not going to No, you're not going to pull out. >> Step out. >> Step out. Step out. >> Am I doing anything? Step out. Step out. Step out of the vehicle. You're grabbing me. >> Step out. >> You're grabbing me. >> Stop. Get out. You're grabbing me. You need to get out. You're grabbing me. You need to get out. >> You're grabbing me for no reason. Hey, >> don't turn the car on. Get out. Get out. Don't pull away. And get out. Get out. Come on. >> Cuz black. >> No, it's cuz you have open container. >> Okay. Get out. >> Show me the container. Show me the container. >> Open the container. >> Hey, I'm not doing anything. >> Step out. Okay. Step out of the V. You're under arrest. You're under arrest. Get out. >> Do say the Say the >> Bro, >> stop. >> Well, you're under. Okay. You're under arrest. Get out. >> Get out. >> Let's redo it. >> Nope. We're done. >> Let's redo it. >> Get out, baby. >> Get out of the vehicle, >> ma'am. Just step out of the vehicle. >> Get out of the car. >> I haven't done anything wrong. They just shot like pulling my arm. He's pulling my arm. >> What? Tell me what the hell I done. You have to read my rights. Read my rights. >> Get out of the car. >> Read my [ __ ] rights. >> Get out of the car. >> Read my rights. Read my rights. Read my rights. Read my [ __ ] rights. >> All right, just step out of the vehicle. >> Did he read my rights? >> Step out of the vehicle. >> Did he read my rights? >> Step out of the vehicle. >> Did he read my rights? >> Step out of the vehicle. >> No. Did he read my rights? Did he read my rights? >> Bro, did you read my rights? >> Okay, that's fine. >> I have a lawyer. >> The woman tried to act knowledgeable about the law, but in reality, she was wrong. Miranda writes, "The right to remain silent do not have to be read immediately upon arrest, but only before interrogation." Her repeated demands for those rights while still resisting did nothing to change the legality of the arrest. >> Afterwards, according to my lawyer, you ran my life rights afterwards. >> You ran my afterwards. You ran my knees afterwards. You ran my rights afterwards. You read my rights after your words. >> You read my rights. >> You're okay. >> Let's set her out. >> No. Nope. >> You read my rights after. >> Stand up. >> All righty. >> Let's uh my right. You You know me. >> I'm saying they wear my rights after. >> No, it's not okay. >> You want me to search? >> Please. Yeah. >> You got to search me. >> Search me. >> Search me. What happened to me? >> Search me. They read my rights after. >> What do you mean? >> It's okay. I'm talking to my and y'all I'm I'm being nice to everybody. I'm being cool with everybody and y'all doing this. No, no, no, no, no. I'm not taking no seat in the car. >> So, you understand right now. >> Okay. So, whatever happened to say y'all want to do right? Okay. >> No, I'm not. >> Can I Can y'all wait till my brother come here? I don't I don't want to get in the car until I have a relative or somebody that I know >> with me. >> This is his car. So, you're going to be fine. >> His car. >> It's my car. This is my police car. >> The one that bro, >> bro. Okay. >> Remember? You remember me? >> Why don't you just get in the car for us? We'll sort it all out later. Okay. >> That might be her brother as she called. >> Yeah, she called. Bro, >> bro, I'm talking to my brother cuz he know I [ __ ] a master. Who got a masters? You got a master. >> Education does not always mean understanding. Her actions seemed only to create more evidence against herself. By the final stage, the suspect's mindset revealed clear self-destruction. She continued resisting, yelling nonsense, and insulting the officers even though she knew it only made her situation worse. >> Voice clear. Wait, wait, wait, wait a second. Wait, wait, wait. >> I'm sorry. Like, real talk. Are the kids good, >> bro? Are my kids good? >> Oh, I feel so good. The black girl is trapped in the back of the car. Oh, I feel so happy. Yeah. Okay. Oh, the black girl so happy. And my arrest is harder. Can you um unleash me, please? >> Nope. >> Why? Cuz you're under arrest. >> Why? For what? All righty. Let's slide over this way. Hello. >> I'm sorry. Who are you? >> What's up? >> Who are you? >> I'm Officer Kellyo. >> Okay. >> All right. Let's slide on over. >> He's coming out this side. >> Nope. We're coming out on this side. In the end, the woman was taken to jail and charged with DUI, driving under the influence, resisting and obstructing police and other traffic violations, speeding, no insurance, expired registration. If convicted, penalties could include thousands of dollars in fines, jail time, license suspension, and probation. Just as the illusion that the law did not apply to her collapsed, another tragedy began with the negligence of a mother. On July 18th, 2025, an emergency call reporting a baby left inside a running car prompted police to respond immediately. The initial task was simply to check on the child's safety. But as the truth gradually came to light, the story became far more complicated and tense than expected. [Music] >> Nobody's come out to the vehicle. >> Well, the guy in there, >> he did. He came out and like looked in or something. >> Older white male. older white male. >> Yeah. >> And we try to get cash to get meet at all our public in uh Syria. >> Your husband's inside. What is he wearing? >> Black. >> He's wearing all black. >> Does he have like a hat on or anything? >> No. But why do I have to hunt? >> We're going to talk to you in just a minute. We're going to explain everything. >> Okay. I'm sorry. I just need to go inside and grab your husband real quick. >> Okay. No problem. I'm not trying to leave you. Okay. >> Fine. >> Yeah. I just wonder why. >> Now, you said we're going to explain everything to you in just a minute. Okay. >> I'm going to go to jail. >> We're going to talk about that. >> Okay. cuz I don't work right now. So, I have to have cash from you to get you were here. >> Close the door real quick. I don't want to wake him. Give >> me a minute. Turn around. Put your phone back. >> I know. I told them I just come here to get cash. I come here to get cash from you cuz I don't work and I have to pee. >> Yeah. And my phone is over there. Can you please? >> Your phone's in the >> cuz like I said, I have to pee and then check the baby real fast. >> Yeah. >> Yo, I'm here before. >> I had to pee. >> The kid just died or beach last. I've been here before. >> Babe, it's okay. Hey, it's okay. Babe, it's okay. I told him I need to get cash from you cuz they were here with the friend, you know, and I came here to get cash. >> You're going to sit over here, >> babe. It's okay, babe. He's a little bit stressed out, so I let him go out. Can we please grab my phone? I'm not going, you know. >> Which one's your vehicle or did you use >> this one? His is black one. Um, I believe I'll be there. >> He got here like maybe 3 hours. Yeah. And I had to be real bad. So, babe, >> you got here 3 hours ago, right? Yeah. And I said I want to get cash to get a baby stuff for teing. >> Yeah, I get that. But at no point is it okay to leave a child in the car. >> I don't like it either. >> Yeah, but they smoking bar co so I can't bring him over there. I had to pee. Yeah, but you put me like this. So it's not like I'm going to run. But I understand. >> Do you want to come? Do you want to come to your trunk real quick and I can just have you lean up against the car so I don't have to hold you like this the whole time? You just want to lean up against the car? >> You can hold me how you want. It's fine. >> Both parents were arrested. The mother appeared remorseful, confused, and kept trying to explain her actions. In contrast, the father immediately showed a confrontational attitude toward the police. As she slowly realized the consequences, the mother's panic grew, exposing instability in her emotions and mental state. >> Are we staying here or we going? >> We're going to stay here for the time being. Not going anywhere. >> I just want to know cuz I never had this problem before. I don't know how long before before he gets here. I'm not sure but I think it was like 3 hours and then baby woke up and I decided to come out to get what we need. I don't work right now so I have to get cash. I don't know if I need to explain. Do I not? Do I know? No, >> it's okay. What's um what's you guys's relationship? >> That's my husband. It's our baby. First baby. >> You guys live together and everything. >> Mhm. >> You drive. I got here 3 hours ago >> and then I came out I decided to come out when baby woke up. >> Yeah. Not even >> We're not talking to her. We're not talking to her. >> Oh, sorry. I'm just asking you about your relationship with him. I'm going to talk to him in a minute. >> Okay. >> I can't really see, but >> we're not talking to him. >> Just make sure he's okay. >> Yeah, the child's okay. That's the first thing we did when we got here. >> Like I said, we're going to talk to both of you. >> I let him go out cuz he's a little bit stressed out. Good things. The baby's uh teing, start teing, so he is crying a lot at home. So, >> how old is the baby? >> Five uh 6 months actually. Did I say 17 18? >> I don't know what is today. >> I don't know. It's my fault. I should never come here to get cash. It's not my husband's fault. Sorry. Why I feel like crying? I don't Sorry. >> Did you have your ID with you or? >> Yeah, it's in the Like I said, I'm not planning to stay here. So, I have everything in the car aside from my phone. I'm sorry. >> All right. >> No talking. >> I can fix the cups for you. >> In the bar. >> I can fix Okay. Like I said, we're going to talk about that in a minute. If the cuffs are hurting you, I can fix hurting me because I have bad back problems. I was the first responder at 911. Okay. Sit up for me. >> I was at the bar. He came to get me. She was here maybe 5 minutes and I was paying my calves. >> Double cuffs. That's hurting the shoulder blades. So >> those are bandels. Correct. >> So we can switch them out completely. >> Okay. >> Let her do not talk to her. I already told you my wife. >> I don't care if she's your wife. You both are being detained right now. You're not going to be screaming over at her. >> I'm not screaming at her. But you have no right to talk to her right now. >> She's an adult. She can make adult decisions. >> Clearly. Yes. Well, she's also my wife. >> Okay. >> So, any statement that she makes without you reading her rights is admissible in court. >> Okay. >> You can come this way. >> Whatever. >> I was sitting there and she came. >> The husband's anger was evident through his yelling and questioning when he saw his wife handcuffed. The mother, on the other hand, accepted responsibility, which only made the situation more complicated. To maintain control, officers had to detain both of them, especially as the father's aggressive behavior kept escalating. >> Hang on. Hang on. Hang on. Hang on. >> You got to put your hands behind you. >> Yeah. >> We're not going to be hard. >> Can't sit on your hands. There you go. >> Hold on. >> Okay. >> Can I have my wallet back, please? >> It's going to go with you. Okay. >> Well, >> well, it's my fault for coming here. He was here 3 hours ago. >> He was here 3 hours ago. Okay. >> With I let him go cuz he's a little bit stressed out for the day. So, I let him go here. But for me and the baby wake up and starts eating, so he keeps crying. So what I do is make a ride, you know, ride here and then I had to pee and get cash from here. I was trying to make them let you go because it is my fault. Actually, it is my fault. >> She recently came up here, but she was drinking. They both have drinks at the bar. How did we get to where we're at right now where there is both of you inside of a bar and there's a child in the car? >> Yeah, a bar is like before I even get pregnant, it's already I was known with everyone like say hi first before I leave and then I asked him if he's ready. He's trying to pay his uh bill. You know, the paper tab. Yes. Tab. Yeah. He's trying to pay that and we will leave. I think they were ready. So, I went to pay and then leave my phone in the table where he's sitting at. And then I just run here because the baby is alone. Yeah. So, I was going to grab it back just to make sure he's okay. >> So, why is the baby alone in the car? >> Because I couldn't bring him with me inside because it's smoking bar. >> It's a bar in general, >> right? A smoking bar >> where the kid does not belong, >> right? I just had to pee so bad like only. Yeah. And I have to get cash from him if he's not ready to go home yet. >> So when did you guys get here? >> Like maybe 10 minutes when you guys are out here. Like I said, he was paying his tab. Maybe getting ready to go and we go. You can ask the bartender. You already have the the paper ready. The one you sign when you pay and then you give them the the money. Actually, if you look in the paper, it should say the time there he was trying to tap out cuz we wanted to go home. And I didn't mind if he didn't want to leave. So, did you guys get here at the same time or was he Okay. >> He was here 3 hours or more. >> Okay. He's been here for 3 hours or more. >> Mhm. >> And you said his vehicles where? >> Over here. >> Black. >> It's a black vehicle over there. >> Yeah. Um >> Yeah. Black. Black. And this is my >> A safer choice would have been to let her husband bring money from the car and watch the child, but she ignored that option. This made police doubt her explanation. Even more concerning, she had left her phone inside and said she was just checking on the baby quickly. a detail that revealed she had intended to leave the child alone for longer. >> Reason there was a drink in front of you. Oh, well, I think I will do one, but then I don't really want it. So, it's not like I drink it. So, I said okay just to say okay to people and then I leave. I'll go leave cuz I think he can drive. He can manage. Yeah. So, I'm still okay with the baby. If even if I go to CVS or not, it didn't matter to me. It's just he's sitting and crying all the time at home. So, I didn't know how to stop him sometimes. So, then I just give him a ride here and there. Yeah. even though he's not here. >> So even for 10 minutes, you left him. In your mind, it was 10 minutes, right? That's what you're saying. >> I actually checking in between because I wanted to see if he's paying or or ready to go and then I come back. I had to run back here. I asked him, "Are you ready to go?" So yeah, and he's paying the tub. >> You're checking on what in between? Checking on the child in between. >> Yeah, I go back. I go one out here and then after I pee, I go back in here and then I ask him if he's ready to go. He's paying the tub. And then I come out again. I even left my phone because I I see people so I like come back out real fast. So I said I got to go. So but he was being here a little bit but I think it's not the way I put my hands. I'm okay. But that's all I wanted to know cuz it is actually my fault. I should have never come here cuz I I did. It's my fault. I let him go out by himself. Yeah cuz he had maybe a bad day like everybody does. >> Did he come out to check on the child? >> Yeah. One time in between. >> I him. No, me. Are you talking about me or him? >> Him. No, he's there cuz I'm responsible cuz I just want to see if he has cash. If not and he's not ready to go, we'll go. But he was paying the top already. So, we will go. Even if you have to follow us or we follow him, it didn't matter. >> So, were you coming here to pick him up as you knew? >> No, I needed a cash. I don't work. I'm sorry. It was just for the cash. >> So, if he's ready to go, then we will all go. But if he's not ready to go, I respect that since I let him go. So, now >> was he not like answering like could you get in touch with him another way? Was he not answering his phone? >> I didn't uh message that I'm on my way here, but I said we were going out. Just go out because he's cheating and he's crying a lot at home. >> The keys are the keys are in the car. >> Yeah, cuz I wasn't planning on staying here and the car is on cuz I was just asking and go >> at any point to leave a child in a car. >> Yes, I understand. Although the mother repeatedly took responsibility and offered various explanations, her statements were inconsistent, especially regarding how long they had stayed in the bar and the purpose of their trip. Her repeated attempts to defend her husband only made police more suspicious about both of their roles in the incident. >> That everybody knows me, but I really don't want to drink, so I just leave it. >> But why order it in the first place? >> I guess he got used to me like that. like I go in just one place. Yeah. But I said, "No, I have a baby." >> You see where it's not making sense? >> Yeah. But I really didn't like it. So I don't want I don't want to. I want to go home. And he said he's ready to go. So okay, let's go. >> He's ready to go. He's paying the top. I think I should say there the time that he wanted to come. >> He didn't like the drink. So you left him there. >> Yeah, I left him there. It's right there. I didn't want it. So I I'm just tired and I wanted to get what we need and just come home. And I didn't know this is going to happen. As soon as I put him in the car like 2 minutes, he pull his sleepovers. But if we're home, we cry a lot cuz I think the gums is bothering me. >> All righty, sir. So, like I said, I was going to talk to you and explain the situation to you. I just got to read something first, right? >> All week long I've been working and everything else. She's been watching the kid. Yesterday, today I've been watching. She starts crying and freaking out. She doesn't know what to do. So, immediately she texts me or messages me from, you know, how handling stuff over at 1405 doing payroll or whatever. or out getting groceries or whatever I'm doing when I'm not around because I'm with him so much and he's like a daddy's boy and I know how to sue him because he doesn't self soothe right now he's only 6 months old so he doesn't self soo and she doesn't understand that basically at this at this point anytime he wakes up she freaks out gives him a bottle or lets him stay awake and he starts crying and freaking out so she came here to get me I was sitting inside >> because the baby was crying >> just fussing and and she doesn't really know how to handle as her firstborn child >> any point come out to check on myself. >> Yeah. >> Within the 10 minutes she was here. No, I made sure she did twice. Cory gave her a drink. She didn't even touch it. Didn't even touch it. Believe me, I'm not going to attack you. I'm not going to >> I didn't even know if somebody put it on her. >> No, it Yeah, >> they're taking me away. Tommy's here. Let Tommy deal with it. They're giving Tommy the keys to the house, everything. It is what it is. We're going to rain at about 8:30 in the morning. All right. Jesus. All right. It's easy if you go butt first. >> There you go. And just your feet in. Watch your head. >> Sorry. >> In the end, both were arrested for leaving their six-month-old baby alone in the car while they were inside the bar. They were taken to jail and charged with child neglect without causing serious physical harm. This charge can lead to up to 5 years in prison, 5 years of probation, or a fine of up to $5,000. So, what happens when an entire family ends up behind bars? On October 30th, 2023, a scuffle at Burger King quickly escalated into chaos after police received reports that a weapon had been involved. This was no longer just a typical family argument. When officers arrived, they were faced with a scene no one expected to unfold in such a public place. >> Walk over here. Your baby needs you. >> Your kids need you. You >> fail. >> Why you and take one to no one? You dead ass mama. >> What happened? >> What happened? >> You wish. Go over there. >> That's why you put DCF. >> Yeah. >> Stop. >> Please wait. PTSD. You can't do that. Please >> put your hands on the back. Hey, you want me to get arrested? >> How supposed to know that, right? Cuz my mama want me to get arrested, right? >> Go to the passenger side of my >> Which side? >> Passenger side. Thank you. >> She walked back. >> It doesn't matter. She came out here trying to fight me. We all know that she came out here trying to fight me. What the You want my baby taken away from me that bad? >> Take a seat for me. We're going to start this out. Just take a seat. >> You want to be your mama? Like really? We are. They always get a call by us. >> What's she supposed to be a >> What is going on? >> Rub me. >> You want to see the video? >> Sure. >> All I'm trying to do is figure out what's going on. Everybody wants to start trying to fight each other. >> My mama, >> Ranada Brown. Ranada Rogers Brown. >> I know. I know. >> So, why are we here? What happened? >> Whatever. I don't give a what you talking about. >> Is that your hand? Her hand? >> Yeah, this is my hand right here. >> What happened? Babe, my two sisters was laughing. >> My two sisters, >> hold on, hold on, hold on. >> He just got out >> from he need to shut his up way. He beat up my daddy. >> In an effort to clarify the situation, police separated each family member for questioning. But instead of the truth, they were met with conflicting accounts. One side claimed to have been attacked, while the other insisted they only wanted to reconcile. At that moment, a Burger King employee appeared, claiming to be the manager and tried to intervene, only to be pulled into the chaos as well. >> You're Ronald's daughter. Who's she? >> Yes, Ran's daughter. >> Okay, cool. >> They was fighting. You want to check all the cameras in Burger King >> and all of y'all? >> Yes, we all do. Him, me, her, her, and her. Y'all can check all the cameras if y'all want >> and see what it is. Hello. Not in the back of police car. >> Come on. Let's go. Let's go. We at work. Let's go. You [ __ ] >> Sorry, but we going we going into work. How about we at work? >> I'm being pumped. >> Let's go. >> Yo, >> look. >> Why are you doing that? >> I will break your door. Open up the door. >> Open up the door. I am going to break your door open. Open up the door. >> They trying to detect. >> I am going to break the door open. Open up the door. >> She's going to jail. And the other one's getting detained. >> We all need jobs. Why y'all do this? >> Open the door. >> I kept telling her, "No, let's go. Calm down." >> I kept trying to tell her to leave. >> I'll watch the other side. >> Are you going to open it? Are you going to open it? >> The suspects locking themselves inside the restaurant pushed the situation far beyond the scope of a civil dispute, turning it into a serious criminal matter. This act was considered obstruction of justice and resistance to arrest. >> Oh, she's running and closing that one. >> They're both going to jail. >> They both going to jail. >> Come on, man. Look >> what they do. >> Can you No. Can you please just have back up for me though? >> Okay. Um >> like out out here by my car. >> Serious. >> So the one in the the one with the backpack pulled out a knife on them and tried to fight them and try to stab them. Ranatada's keeping us from obtaining that. Rear >> doors open. Get in here now. One person stay up front with me. Don't Don't sit here and touch me. Don't sit here and touch me. Don't sit here and touch me. No. Stop. What? What are you talking about? >> No. Don't sit here and touch. >> Stop. Don't take me. [Applause] Please. Stop. Please. No. No. He said him right here. Him. Get out of that face. >> Don't say nothing. >> Stop. >> Don't touch me. I can record you. >> Don't say nothing. >> I can record you. >> Stop moving. Stop talking. >> Stop moving. >> Put your phone down. >> Put the phone down. Can you put it down? Okay. Can you please give it to her? >> Put your hand down. Give it to him. >> Give it to him. Put my hand up. >> Put your hand. off. >> I don't have time for you to win this. Come on. Get that backpack off. Please >> take the backpack off. >> When resistance erupted, the woman not only denied being arrested, but flatly rejected any intervention from the police. It was an extreme denial of reality, a refusal to face her own wrongdoing. And with such stubborn defiance, officers had no choice but to use force to remove her from the restaurant. made me bust my >> damn. [Music] >> So, where am I? Why we got to go in the car? >> Trying to figure everything out. But you need We need you to get in the car >> just for now. No, no, no. Because No. Let me >> Can I just stand right here? >> Nope. Get in the car. >> Because when y'all put people in the car, they don't come out. Like, I'm dead serious. >> Put your camera on. I would rather camera >> get in the car. >> Stand >> Get in the car. Why do you have to make this more difficult than it is? >> Why am I I want to know you? You y'all said y'all trying to figure out what's going For what? >> For what? >> Resisting. You're a damn lie. >> Yeah, because >> you're a liar. >> Okay. >> You're a lie. >> No, I'm getting in. Yo, you don't have to push >> entire incident. >> What am I getting arrested for? >> I'm trying to explain you, but you kept screaming at me. >> Okay, calm down. You stupid. You were trying to detain her. When you lock the Hold on. When you lock the door and prevent us from doing that, you're imputing our >> You never gave me instructions to open the door. >> Why are you doing that? You >> I will break your door. Open up the door. Open up the door. >> I am going to break your door open. Open up the door. >> They trying to detect. >> I am going to break the door open. Open up the door. Yeah, you did. No, you didn't. 20 times. >> No, you didn't. >> That's a ridiculous game to play. >> No, you didn't. I'm not I'm a grown woman. I don't need to play that. >> Yeah. Hurt me. Hurt me. >> Hurt me. >> Can you sit in the car, please? >> Can you sit in the car, please? >> I'm going to ask you one more time. >> So, you y'all taking me to jail? >> I'm going to ask you one more time. >> So, y'all taking me to jail? When the woman and her daughter were arrested, officers immediately reviewed the surveillance cameras. The footage gave them a clearer perspective and allowed them to cross-check with witness statements. The results pointed to one critical conclusion. The entire family was involved in the incident. >> Sisters were your mom. Yes. >> What What is going on? >> What's What's the What's the beef here between the with the family? Like what? all the way up. >> I don't know. >> You don't know? Is it just I'm hearing like when you guys come to work, there's a lot of like smack talk and then you separate. >> Is that accurate? >> That's That's just what we do as sisters. >> Okay. >> It's not >> not with no. >> So they was just different with Ranada. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Cuz we was arguing and then she came back and next thing you know everybody was fighting. There was everywhere. >> Okay. >> I don't know. >> It just went chaos. Yeah. >> Is that from them like arguing all that garbage? >> Yeah, they they throwing stuff. They throwing stuff at each other, hitting each other, everything. That's why. >> Plus, they thought, too. >> Yeah. >> Oh, they were. >> So, at this point, it hasn't really gotten like physical yet. >> Oh, now they start throwing stuff at each other. >> Throwing stuff. >> I'm going to jail, too. >> Yeah. >> Can I at least call somebody She is too. >> Yeah. >> And we're going Why? >> We'll explain it all in a second. >> What I'm saying, we were defending ourselves. >> We didn't We didn't see the video. >> So, I can't tell you. I've been outside. I got here 5 minutes ago. So, >> this is crazy, man. >> Why am I going to jail? Literally, she pulled the taser on me. >> The officer that's watching the video is going to come out and explain everything to everybody. Did he also just told me that based on the video he wanted to detain you off of what he's saying and I don't know what that is and and he's going to come out and talk to you and fill you in on everything. Okay. >> In the end, four women were arrested and taken to jail. Ranata and her three daughters were charged with resisting arrest without violence. In addition, the 16-year-old daughter faced a more serious charge, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Punishments could include probation, community service, or even prison time depending on the severity of the charges and local law. Chaos erupted after one wrong decision, and nearby, Karma was waiting for a defiant Karen. On February 16th, 2023, police were called to resolve a neighborhood dispute after a woman complained about loud music. However, during the process, she herself admitted to pushing someone and obstructing the police. What seemed like a minor situation quickly turned complicated and tense. >> I just I got a little aggressive maybe. >> How did he spit on you? >> Was it like he was just talking or did he like hakalugi at you? >> He just was like, "Go away." And then called me a liberal and spit on me. >> Like intentionally spit or was it talking and spit? >> Oh no, he intentionally spit on me. >> Where did he spit on you? like I don't know on on my chest I guess. >> Is that what you were wearing? >> No, I um I have a >> You changed or >> Well, no. I have a I have a I put a sweatshirt on now. >> Oh, did you clean it off the spit? >> Well, no. >> So, it's still on your shirt. >> It's probably on my Yeah. >> Can I see? >> Are you serious? >> Yeah. Yeah, cuz I watch video. So, I wanted to make sure everything matches what you're saying. >> Video, too. >> Yeah, I know. But business. >> No, I have like six cameras here. I >> have video of it happening. >> Oh, yeah. >> Can I see it? >> Like Yeah. Um, let me get my phone. >> Okay. >> Well, first of all, they knocked on my door. >> I thought you said they were loud, so you went out there. >> I did. And then >> So, that was first of all. So, second of all, >> so I went outside and I asked, "Hey, can you guys be quiet? It's like midnight >> and I would like to go to sleep and then the the fat guy, I don't know who his name is, knocked on my door and Yeah, I can show you a video. Why not? >> Where the awning is? >> No, not when he >> where he spit on you. >> No, he spit on me over here. >> Oh, right here. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Do you have your ID on you? >> I do, but I'm not going to give it to you. Um, >> why is that? Cuz why would you ask that? Hang on. They were like really really aggressive and well the one guy was >> aggressive. How? >> Like two of them were actually not all of them. There was a whole bunch of them over here. Hang on. They were very aggressive. He came over and knocked on my door cuz I went this is what happened. I came out and I said, "Hey guys, can you be quiet? I'm trying. I have to sleep in the morning at 8. >> I have to get up in the morning." She tried to find a video on her phone but appeared confused. Her statements gradually became inconsistent. At first, she said she was spat on while outside, then later claimed it happened when she opened the door at home. Tension escalated when the officer openly expressed doubt and requested to see the video to verify her account. >> Back in and then he spit on I opened the door and he spit on me >> while you were in this inside the house or on your >> No, no, I was out here. I was out here. >> Okay. Is that what you're looking for on the camera? >> Yeah. I'm like, what are you doing? Like, I'm just trying to go to sleep. >> Mhm. >> Anyway, what what do you need? I I got a lot of cameras. I got to look through. >> You were showing me him spitting on me. >> Yeah, I know. I have a lot of cameras to look through. Like I don't >> Probably that one, right? >> Yeah. I don't know which one that is. Um, so I just had my house tented and I don't have the things to keep the cameras on. What What do you want from me? I guess. Um, >> I wanted to see the video. >> Yeah, I know. But >> cuz I don't really believe your story, so that's why I want to see it. >> Oh, okay. >> Yeah. >> Um, I mean, it misses things. I don't know. I don't >> So, it's not on the camera, but it happened right in this area. You said >> No, it happened like right here. >> Oh, right here. >> Yeah, like right here. Um, I opened the door cuz he got mad cuz I I came out and I said, "Hey, can you guys be quiet?" And the one guy was very nice. Um, >> what happened after you told him to be quiet then? >> Well, they they weren't. >> Mhm. >> Um, >> you said you got you got physical or something? >> Well, I didn't get physical with them. Well, I >> You said you pushed >> after after he spit on me. I was very upset. Hang on. That was here or down there? >> No, he spit on me here. >> So you pushed him here or over there? >> No, over there. Because he was like, >> "Well, while you're doing that, let me see your ID." >> No. >> If you refuse to show me your ID again, I'm going to arrest you. Okay. >> Okay. >> So, can I have your ID? >> No. >> All right. That's not how it works. >> It is how it works. >> No, it's not how it works. Why did you ask me for my ID? >> Because I'm investigating a crime of a battery. >> Oh, I >> and I asked for your ID. From a legal perspective, it is completely lawful for police to request identification during a criminal investigation such as assault. When the suspect refused, she crossed the line from a normal argument into obstruction of an investigation, making the situation more serious. >> My gosh. Hang on, let me get >> Where are your shoes? You got some flipflops or something. >> You have anything illegal on your >> I will give you my ID. >> You can't take that with you. >> Okay. I will give you my ID. I'm not trying. >> Are you kidding me? It's a vape. Leave it in there. >> It's like a >> Are you kidding me? >> Do I look like I kid? I'm the police. >> Tina, do you have We're going to try and expedite that. You have shoes. >> Are you going to arrest me? >> I told you I was going to arrest you. >> Are you kidding me? >> I didn't do anything. >> Okay. Well, we have another person and a witness saying you did. And you told us that you did push someone. You can't push people. I only pushed him because he spit on me. And >> I'm just trying. >> I get it. I get it. Where are your shoes? I can get shoes for you. >> Okay. >> And you have keys to lock up the house. >> Uh what can Can you just undo? I promise I'm not going >> I told you what I was going to do if you refused and you said okay. >> I didn't understand like you actually going to No, I >> do. I look like I joke around. I'm the police. >> No, sir. >> So, Tina, shoes. Shoes and keys that I can grab for you. >> Please don't arrest me. I'm >> That's That's >> You did this to yourself just now. I told you what I was going to do >> and you told me to do it, so I did it. >> Oh, I thought I didn't. >> Okay. >> Okay. So, where are your shoes? Where are your shoes? Your shoes. >> Um >> I don't care anything else inside. I just want to grab shoes for you. >> There's nothing in there. I'm not going to look around. I just want to get shoes for you. >> I said key. Let me >> Is there anyone else home? >> They're in bed. But just please ex No, please listen to me. >> I am listening. I've been trying to listen and >> I did not. >> You're playing games with me. >> No, I'm not. I'm I'm really not. I did. >> So, tell them where the shoes are so we can give you your shoes. >> Can I explain things more? I can get my ID and all the do all the things. >> Is your ID on your phone? >> Uh, >> I think it is. >> No. >> There you go. >> Put your shoes on. >> I Oh, no. It's in the back. Um, >> I don't. Oh, >> she appeared genuinely shocked when handcuffed, reflecting her lack of awareness of the consequences of her actions. The decision to handcuff her was no longer about refusing to show ID, but because she was officially under arrest for assault and resisting police during the arrest. >> Put your shoes on. We're going to go over to the car. >> I don't have I literally was in bed. >> Well, I don't >> Go ahead and just lock it. >> Lock it. Okay, >> Tina, put your shoes on. Are you Are you >> Put your shoes on. >> Okay. Um, >> and don't ask me if I'm serious because I am serious. >> No, I I figured that out. I I I didn't realize that you were going to take me like one more. >> I told you I was going to take you to jail if you didn't give me your ID. Okay. >> No, wait. Let me show you my >> this way. >> Here we go. >> I I'm sure I have video. >> Have your day in front of the court. You have your story. >> Oh my god. >> Oh my god. You guys happy? >> Oh my god. This is not >> Oh my god. >> Are you serious? >> Stand there. Okay. >> Are you guys serious? >> Okay. >> How many times did I tell you I'm serious? >> I I know, but I'm just like blown away by >> terminating. >> Sir, I didn't I didn't do what you think I did. I mean, I did the things, but he did things before that. Oh my god. >> Instead of complying, she continued to argue and justify herself, showing a lack of respect for the legal process. The entire incident became clear evidence of an individual refusing to accept responsibility for her criminal actions while trying to drag the officers into an endless argument. >> Can I try to show you the thing on the phone now? Maybe. I'm I'm sure I can find it. I really didn't do what you think I did. >> We tried looking already. >> Well, like, can I look again? Because I wasn't like really trying hard. >> Why? >> I Well, because I thought I was right and these guys were like, "Can I please try?" Cuz I'm telling you that the guy knocked on my door after I came out and said, "Hey, can you guys be quiet?" and he was very irritated and well one of the guys were there was like I don't know multiple people out there and um I mean I did what you thought I did but he like spit on me and like like I my door and if you can give me my phone I can probably find the video God I hope I can I don't know the I just got my house tinted the video is not doing as well because it doesn't have the sir. Are are you really arresting me? Like for real? Like am I going to jail? >> Yeah. >> Okay. If if I I know you're still going to arrest me, but I just want to ask you if your wife was at home alone and these guys like and you went out and your wife went out and asked them to be quiet and they and and then they knocked on your door and you opened the door like an idiot and they spit on you and the one guy was like, "Hey," he kept calling me the skinny guy. He kept saying that over and over like you're a liberal and which I'm not by the way and like he thought I was liberal I guess cuz I look gay I don't know and he like I didn't do anything like okay and then I went in the house and I didn't do what you think I did [Music] behavior. >> Can you just give me a ticket or something? Is that a thing? [Music] >> In the end, the woman was taken to jail and charged with assault and resisting arrest. Penalties could include fines, probation, or even jail time, depending on state law. On March 23rd, 2022 in Indiana, a woman calls 911 after running out of gas on the road. Dispatch tells her an officer will respond to check on the situation. So far, so good. But when the officer arrives and explains he doesn't carry gas and that it's not really part of his job. She refuses to get out of the car. What started as a simple help call quickly turned into a full-on standoff. >> They said they'll send me an officer so he can go get me some gas. Well, I can't get you gas. >> Well, that's what they said that you would be able to do. >> I can't provide you with gas. Do you have money to go get? >> No, the people my money is somewhere else. Like, I lost my money. I can't see with this [ __ ] lights on. You don't have anybody who could come pick you up. >> I'm call I've been calling somebody, but like this is a long story. >> The windows roll down. >> I I can't hear you. I can't hear you. Can you open this? What' you say? >> Different kind of car. You have to start them a different way. So, >> okay. Is there any way you could continue to call? Otherwise, I don't really have much of a choice but to tell it. I can't leave it here. >> Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I don't want my I just like literally just got it. Like, I'm taking it to somebody else to get all this [ __ ] that I need to get done fixed. I just need There's no way that you can literally go up to the guy and give me $3 of gas to bring it back to me. >> I don't have a gas tank. >> I have a cup that you can use. Like, literally, >> I can't I can't do that. >> You if I call up there and I say, "Hey, if I send somebody up there to come get some gas, like can't do that either." Is there a specific own reason on why >> we don't we don't pay for gas? >> You can't pay for gas, but that's all that I need. And that's better than you guys going out your way and sending my car all the way to wherever and me getting [ __ ] out of my ass. >> Well, I can't leave you here cuz somebody rear ends you then it's on me. >> I've been here for a minute anyways. I'd rather you leave me here to come back, bring me gas, and be perfectly fine. >> I can't do that. I don't know what else you want me to say. >> I don't really know how you knew I was out here and how you came all the way here. >> You called this >> but I didn't give them my location. >> Okay. They said they pinged your phone >> because they can't do that. It's against the law for the 14th time tell you guys this. If you can't go get me gas, which isn't against the law, why ping my phone? >> They said it was assist motors. >> Yeah, I had somebody coming. I just got to wait on them. >> How long is it going to be? >> Whenever they end up coming here. I don't know. I'm not I'm on their time. >> Can you Can you give them a call? >> I like I said, I'll call them. I call them. >> Look, I'm I'm trying to be I'm trying to be patient with you. >> I don't need you. Can you stop touching my car like that? Second, >> despite being the one asking for help, she was immediately combative. At one point, she insisted the officer pour gas into her car using a plastic cup. Yeah. Not only is that absurd, but it's also illegal. Fuel has to be transported in a proper gas can for safety. But she didn't care. She just wanted things done her way. >> Step out of the car. Step out of the car. Step out of the car. >> Step out of the car. What's What's the issue? I'm here to help you out. >> Can you just go? >> I can't leave you here. >> You can leave me here. You weren't even supposed to be here. my car for the 14th time. >> Relax. >> She's got nobody else to come get this. >> Wait on this person to bring me gas. They told the people on the dispatch said they don't mind. Some people, they said some of you guys bring them gas. That's all I needed somebody to do is take my can, go get me $3 worth of gas, and bring it back. That's it. >> They told you who could. >> They said one of you guys would be able to do it. But if you guys can't do it, then why are you guys here? It's not cold. So, I don't know. >> Well, we're we're here for really for two reasons. The first one is you called. The second one is you're sitting in the middle of the road. So, it's better that we're here to at least keep people from leaving. >> Not really. Not really. Cuz you're wasting money. You guys could go there for me, get the gas, and come back. You guys are not helpful. That's not helpful. You're causing more you causing more problems. >> Gas. >> In what world is it our job to deliver gas to people? >> In what world is it our job to deliver gas? There's three deputies for the entire county. Ma'am, where in my job description does it says gas delivery? I'm law enforcement officer. >> Law enforcement. I'm blocking the roadway right now. I deliver the same respect as I'm given. >> You're delivering zero. You >> gave me nothing. >> You're delivering zero. >> There's no nothing. >> It's not I I just went through the whole process of getting somebody else's form. Like I just got their [ __ ] I'm taking it back to somebody else's house to get everything fixed. >> Vehicle's unregistered. It's because it's it's it's not on it's not from somebody else. I mean, it's not from like a like wherever the get your car from. Don't run my Don't Don't worry about me. I didn't call you guys here. >> Well, we're here now. >> Well, don't be don't be here. >> No. >> Go ahead and go off and do what just do what's here. >> Is Is the vehicle registered? >> Don't worry about my stuff. I got I got somebody coming for me. Don't worry about >> If it's If it's unregistered, we're going to have to tow the vehicle. Don't worry about my >> From a law enforcement perspective, any abandoned car on the road needs to be checked for public safety. But officers aren't roadside assistance, and they definitely don't carry jugs of fuel. Her poor planning, unrealistic expectations, and refusal to listen turned a minor issue into a major scene. >> Get away from my car. You're going to stop talking to me. >> I'm not doing anything. >> You're going to. That's respect. You want respect? Get away from me. You've already done enough. You can't give me gas, but you're going to tell my car. Get away from me. >> I need your license registration. I don't have any of my stuff. I just need your car up. >> Then we need your information. >> Need your license. I need your information. >> Get away from me. >> I need your information. >> Get away from me. >> Ma'am, I need your information. >> Get away from me. >> If you do not give me your information, you're going to be arrested. I need your information. >> I need your information. >> Get away. >> Okay. >> Like for real. >> Get your hand off. >> Touch me. You don't touch me. >> Get your hands off of me. >> What? Put your hands up now. Put your hands up now. Get your hands up now. >> Okay. >> Get your hands up. You grab at me again. You grab at me again, you're going to have problems. If you hit me again, >> I can get you out. >> No, you've done enough. You have done enough. Ma'am, you created this entire incident. I'm not sure what your malfunction is. >> Get this freaking lock. Crawl across here now. Keep your hands up >> as soon as you get out. >> As soon as you get out, get on the ground. Get on the ground. Get on the ground. Here, cover. Not sure why it had to go like this. This made absolutely no sense at all. What is your problem? Holy cow. How old are you? >> Stop moving. >> Stop moving. Don't worry. Stop. >> Don't tell me. Don't worry. You're in custody. >> Is your ID in your purse? >> I don't have mine. >> Your purse is right there. >> I don't have it. >> Well, we're asking you for your information. >> I already told you this when I was in the car when you told me you wanted to take my car that I literally just got. >> That wasn't the question. I said we needed your information. You refused to give your information. We have an enforcement. The vehicle's unregistered. Now you're going to jail >> for what? resisting law enforcement. >> I didn't I was locked in my car. >> You're under arrest from resisting law enforcement. >> Let's break it down. She was driving an unregistered vehicle, ran out of gas, and then called the police, expecting them to buy fuel and deliver it. Seriously. Yet another young adult who doesn't quite get how the real world works. Hopefully, the taser deployment helped reset her attitude. >> You need to take me to my house. >> You're going to jail for I didn't resist. >> You are going to jail. >> I didn't know. I was locked in my car. >> What? I was locked in my car. >> Well, I guess you have a court date for that. >> Put your foot in. If you bite me or do anything to me, it's only going to get worse for you. Can you stand by with her? Be be prepared. I'm still not quite sure what that was all about. >> That's exactly how it was with me. I told her to get out five times. I was just pulled her out. There's Pur. see if there's any ID in there. It's a debit card. >> She ain't got no ID or anything, but >> yeah, I reached in to grab the uh reached in here to try to grab un grab the lock. >> She soon as I ditch grabbed my arms for >> scratch, >> but I was still charged with battery for grabbing grabbing. >> Yep. I'm just making sure. >> No, soon as she grabbed my arm, that's when I I shoved her off and then grabbed the water. She started to jump across the seat. I mean, I can see the purse, but you know, once again, we never had her out to pat her down, and it is erratic as she's acting. So, that's when I reached in the car to grab her, pull her up, and that's why I said, "Tas her because there's no way we were going to be able to reach in there." She initially jumped out of the car, was pissed off as I showed up. Then, she gets into the car when I tell her we're not going to go do gas. >> Dude, I would have fac I would have been more than happy to facilitate taking a can and going and helping her. She doesn't have one. >> I know, but I'm not We don't go buy people gas cans. to go buy them gas and come back. >> So, she's wanting to go to the hospital. I explained to her that just because she goes to the hospital does not mean that she's not under arrest. He will still be arrested afterwards. And she still wants to go to the hospital. >> She's getting a battery once we're >> as long as you follow right behind. That's also our protocol. Hey, when they do registration on her, get a good spelling of first name, good spelling of last date of birth, because everything I'm finding on her, uh, multiple spell different spellings of that first name, and I can't get I cannot get a 27 return. So, I don't even know if she's licensed. I doubt that she even is. That's probably why that that would >> The scratch marks on the officer's arm were documented right away because that bumped her charges up to something far more serious. After a medical check at the hospital, she got a free ride straight to jail. My name is Khan. >> What's his name? What is your score? >> What did he say? What's your name? >> Khan. >> The whole name, not your not what your first name is. >> My last name is Con. >> Not your first name. You're not your first name's Khan. What's your second name? >> My last name is Con. >> Sure. >> All right. You say you're leaving. Okay. >> Face away from face away from me. >> I heard what the hell you said. Stop. Stop. Before we go in there, I'm going to read you something. The right to remain silent. You understand that? Okay. I'm going to take that as refusion. It's not a clean. >> No, that's not how it works. She ended up charged with assaulting an officer, resisting arrest, refusing to identify herself, and driving without ever having had a license. If convicted, these charges, especially assault on law enforcement, can come with serious jail time. The truth is, the officer could have helped her, but not with that kind of attitude. Lesson of the day, your attitude can make or break the outcome. Next up, what happens when a racist neighbor finally gets what's coming to them? On December 9th, 2021, officers were dispatched after multiple reports of a woman vandalizing property and threatening her neighbors. When they arrived, it didn't take long to see why the 911 call was made. And what unfolded next confirmed just how dangerous the situation really was. >> Ma'am, stop yelling. Stop yelling. >> Stop yelling so I can address the situation. Please. Please stop yelling so I can address what's going on. I'm here. Please stop yelling. Please, >> sir, it's my >> Okay, I understand that. Well, please stop yelling. Please stop yelling. >> Okay, can you Can you see me? Can you please stop yelling? >> I'm going to record you for police misconduct. >> Americans. >> Close the window, ma'am. >> No, she drunk. We going to make a long story short, she damaged our property. Her husband said he'll pay for it. Long as he pay for it, we ain't got no problem. >> Drugs. >> Now, the other night, she came out the house with a gun on my chair. We reported that. Now, tonight she scratched up the cars. Now, he said he'll pay for it. There he is. And if he pay for it, >> that's your wife, sir. >> Yes. >> We ain't got no problems. >> I was just trying to settle her down cuz I can't think with all of the yelling going on. >> She put on my car just now. >> Terrorist threat. >> Yeah. I told you the other night. She told us right here. Yeah, I see the scratching on that one. >> Right up here. >> My car. >> When did this happen? >> Last night. >> She threatened. >> I see it. >> Give me Let me give me a second. Let me talk with him for a second and let my other officer get here on scene. >> Okay. >> Uh what's going on with your wife? >> It's a mental health issue. That's as simple as simple as that. She's been in the hospital for uh about a year. She's been out for the last 2 and 1/2 years. Couple nights ago was the first issue that she's really had with anyone. You know, it was heartbreaking and so was this. I don't really know what to say. >> The husband's admission that his wife struggles with mental health was key. It helped officers quickly assess the level of danger, the potential for repeat behavior, and whether she was in control of herself at the scene. >> He's the resident of this home. When I got here, while he was down here with them, they basically, you know, talked. He said he's willing to pay for the damage that she caused. Uh I don't She He said she has some mental issues that she's been suffering through, not diagnosed with anything. When I got here, she was in the window right here yelling and you know, I kind of yell back for her to calm down so I can figure out what's going on. So when I get out here, she pulled a uh was it a knife? >> No, a a a gun. She last last night in front of the police, she told her son to get the get the machine gun, the AR-15 and and kill all these out here >> in front of the police. That's a terrorist. Y'all say, "Well, the only thing they going to do is fingerprint her and let her go cuz it's a misdemeanor." When terrorist threat becomes a misdemeanor, that's a felony. They go to evidence right there again tonight when she threaten threatening to goddamn burn everybody up, killing them, burning everybody up. >> They told us, you wasn't here. They told us pretty much that um it it was known that she has a mental issue that they cannot take her to jail because of co that we did not have her on video with the gun or anything. They said there was no guns in house so they cannot do nothing. Said it's good that we just keep a paper trail on her so if something does happen then y'all already know that we have been calling. >> Look like she took something to crack my top right there. >> Long as he pay for my stuff I ain't got no problem. What what do you estimate this damage is going to come to? >> This top probably $900. >> Okay. >> Now, over here to paint the side of this car, you know, they got to paint the whole side of this car. This a new >> What? This happened to this car, too? >> Yeah. This is what happened. You have the uh scratches here. They said this was done last night. Um he estimated this is going to be about 3,000. I can't honestly say it'll be that, but I'm sure it's going to be about 500. And then he told he just showed me this the top of his Corvette. >> Wait, it's going to be crack. So all in all, you have this damage here, which >> another crack. >> I'm just trying to figure out when exactly that's happened because this car says Sunday. >> Thursday. >> So how are they saying that all these scratches happened today? Um, they said this one happened last night and he said this is the one they caught her in the act of doing tonight. >> I mean, I I I I didn't see how she was, you know, better than me. >> Yeah, she's >> she's unstable. She needs some treatment. >> Cops found deep scratches on the car, peeled paint, and a cracked Corvette roof. Damage estimated at over $5,000. On top of that, racial slurs and death threats. Her behavior wasn't just out of line. it was a threat to everyone around her. >> I think that she does need to be removed from around here at the very least that'll get them settled back down to where they can think rationally instead of just saying, "Oh, we believe in the white person over the black people over what actually happened." So, >> yeah, >> let's go ahead. >> What's where your wife is at in the house? >> Yes, [Applause] >> ma'am. I'm officer Thomas with Savannah Police Department. Good evening. Um, >> did you come to visit with me? >> Yes, ma'am. Unfortunately, can you go ahead and place your hands behind your back, ma'am? >> Why? >> Um, you're under arrest for criminal damage to property in the second degree. >> What property did I did I damage in my property, sir? >> Ma'am, please don't resist. >> We're going to explain everything. >> What property did I damage, Daniel? >> Just go ahead and put your other hand. >> What property did I damage? >> We'll let you know. Just put your other hand. >> No. No. What did I Yes, ma'am. >> What? and and the note you put on the car. Uh, everything adds up to criminal damage in the property in the second. >> I'm the owner of the house. >> Yes, ma'am. >> No, I'm waiting for the police cuz I just called the police. >> Hey, we are the police you called. >> No, no, no, no, no. You are the guy that >> And I'm I'm not going to hurt you. I'm going to ask you to place your hands behind your back. Okay. >> Where? You're supposed to arrest them, not me. Daniel. >> Daniel, talk to me. What property did I Daniel talk to me? Get the inside. That's a threat. >> There was no threat made to you. Lower your voice. >> Then you tell them that I didn't do anything. They can't park in front of >> a threatening arrow. >> Calm down. No one's threatening arrow. >> They can't park. You're not here telling me they can't park. >> They can park anywhere. It's a public street. >> Not in front of my house. I own. How can that be a public street? >> It's a public street. Why aren't you just telling me it's a public street on my boat? >> What? >> This home my boat. They can't park from bad space to that space and threaten me. >> Nobody's threatening. >> When is the car scratched? The car is scratched nowhere. Who touched the car? >> Get you in there the right way. >> Okay. >> You're making a mistake to your left, sir. >> That car is not touched anywhere. >> It's damaged. We take that. >> They they observed you scratching it, ma'am. >> No, it's not. They scratched it themselves. >> 46. >> Even after her arrest, the woman still believed she had the right to destroy someone's car just because it was parked in front of her house. Meanwhile, her husband seemed all too happy to escort the officers inside to arrest her. That says a lot. >> Get me one bottle of water and benadryil because of asthma, please. >> I can't breathe. Why didn't you take them before? >> I can't breathe right now. >> What do you mean you can't breathe? >> I can't breathe right now. Please tell me. >> You mean you're breathing right now? Right. >> I can't. Watch your head. >> Will someone listen to me so they can write my report as to what happened? >> Yeah. I mean, you can they can talk to them, but like I said, >> but why didn't you write what I'm telling you? >> No, because I know you called earlier about the vehicles being parked there. >> Correct. Yes. So, nobody was parked >> in the driveway, ma'am. Everybody was on the road. >> I understand, but you need to ride what I called 9114. And what I called this for the last three nights, they're coming in my driveway. So, tonight they made the turn. I said, "Get out of my driveway. Don't park here." >> And the derogatory language, >> nobody was parked there tonight, though. >> When you came, nobody was parked. Right. And that's when you called. You called because somebody was parked there, but nobody was parked there. >> No, no, no. I called because somebody was parked in my driveway. When I told them, they moved back. They parked on the side and they told me, "Are you going to write my report?" >> No, ma'am, because that's not a crime. >> I don't know. >> Do you need to go to the hospital? >> Yes. I got pushed and punched in front of my house. I am traumatized. My son is crying at home because 20 black people came and attacked me in front of my house. Sir >> also have to go by the fact that she has an injury on her head. >> Thank you, sir. >> Once in jail, she kept playing the victim. The more she talked, the clearer her mental instability became. Even at the hospital during a mental health evaluation, she kept trying to justify her actions to the doctor. >> He had to then struck her head. >> Yes. Thank you. And this is what I told the officers. That's why I called 911 and they disrespected ignored everything I said. Please let me finish. >> When I got on scene, she was nowhere to be found. >> This is racial. They hit me. They pushed me and I can't breathe. >> Have to take the precaution. >> Still have to take it. >> Sir. Sir. >> All right. Let's go. We're going to the hospital. >> Hold on, sir. >> She He doesn't care. >> Thank you. >> I'm at home. I live in a two-f flooror house um homeowner and uh the neighbor that I had in that in property where I live, he wasn't there anymore. So, a bunch of people uh looking like gypsy. I can't call them black, but like gypsy uh stopped by my home for three nights in a row around the evening and they would just park their vehicles, about seven of them. >> No, ma'am. He's asking about the injuries you say you had. >> That's right. But he needs He's the doctor. >> The doctor doesn't care about the situation. He cares about the injuries. >> The injury. How it came to the injury. >> So they parked in front of ours for three nights and I kept telling them you can't park in front of my So I asked them politely to remove their vehicles from my driveway and uh two nights ago. And tonight they didn't want to do it. So the guy came and pushed the door inside and hit me on on my head and I got I almost fell down like this and pulled my shirt and removed this bottom from my shirt and and he's very big bigger than this officer and why I'm black. Well, from your story and I told them, "This is worse than racial." Whoever you people are, to me, you're Muslim terrorists because if you were black or or uh uh Asian or Spanish, you would understand that this is not your home for you to park in front of my house to get in the driveway. And I parked there and told me, "Get the hoop." And then the guy said, "You know what? I'm just going to kill your husband, too." I said, "Are you sick?" And I pushed the door. And then my husband came downstairs. He's United States Army for 30 years served on me. He's retired now. >> Second. Okay. Shell, >> you don't you're not having an allergic reaction. Another thing that I can say is your pupils are kind of really small. So I don't know if you've been drinking earlier or something or you took something. I'm not saying Huh. >> I got assaulted. Hit. Assaulted. >> Well, that could be okay. The reaction from the adrenaline. Okay. >> Reaction from head injuries. >> Mhm. But not not not traumatic brain injury. >> Yes, it is very traumatic. >> After a full medical checkup found no immediate issues, she was officially charged with criminal mischief and simple assault. However, if doctors later confirm mental illness, her case could be transferred to treatment instead of criminal prosecution. So, what happens when a woman causes chaos at the post office? In March 2023 in Daytona Beach, Florida, police were called to the local post office after a young woman caused a scene when her package was withheld due to lack of ID. Things were calm until she suddenly bit the package. Yep, she bit it. That's when a simple misunderstanding took a hard left into bizarre and unpredictable territory. >> This is what happened. So, I go to Bethl. My package was sent to Bthoon. I didn't have a last name on it. So, they sent it back here. I talked to a woman on the phone. She told me, "I'll save your package cuz mind you, it was my birthday yesterday. I just turned 18." So, she was like, "I will hold your package from you. I know it's your birthday." Blah blah blah blah blah. Just come here tomorrow and pick it up. We talked today. She said, "The package is here. Come get it." I said, "Okay." I got here. I showed him the tracking number. He said, "You have a government ID." I said, "I have a picture. I don't have the physical copy." I said, "I have my birth certificate. I have my school ID. I have any other thing that'll show you proof with a picture of who I am and my name, but I just don't have my government ID like the physical copy. He said, "Oh, without the physical copy, you can't get it." I said, "I have the receipt that shows you the tracking number, which has the same name, my student ID, my birth certificate, my passport. That's that can all show you that that's who I am." He was, "Well, you don't have your government ID." I said, "That's the package right there." He said, "Yeah, I snatched the package." He started tustling with me. I bite the package. He said, "You bite me." I said, "I didn't bite you. I bit the package." He's trying to snatch the package out my mouth. I'm like, "Move." before I invite you cuz then it's going to cause more I have braces. >> Where is the package? >> He was standing right here. >> Let me do this first before I ask you any more questions. I just got to read you that way I can talk to you. Okay. That you're not under arrest. This is just so I can talk to you. >> Yep. >> She leaned into emotional arguments hoping that would win her the package, but legally she didn't stand a chance. She flat out admitted she had no valid ID, which pretty much ended her defense before it started. From there, her story started to unravel fast. >> You get here to get your package. Where was the package? >> He was standing right there and I was standing right like >> Yes. >> Okay. >> He took me back there cuz I wasn't even back there. He We >> He invited you back there. >> No, he was standing right there. When I went to grab the package, he went to like swing me. I'm literally >> Where was the package? In his hand or >> in his hand? >> Okay. >> I went to grab it. He went to step back, but he swung me with it. So then we went back there. Then that's when I bit the package to grab it, like to pull it out of his control. And then that's when he was like, "She bit me." I was like, "I never bit you." >> Because I mean when I when I looked at his finger, he does have bite marks. Not extensive, but he does have bite marks. >> But he was trying to get the package out of my thing. I have braces. That's where it's probably from. But I made you bite the package. >> I was trying to get the package. >> Okay. >> That was the whole point. I was like, I just want my package. Like it's my birthday dress. I paid for it. >> They have rules they have to follow. >> I understand that. But if I could show you a passport and all of that, why you can't? >> He wouldn't accept a passport. That's a government ID. >> He was saying I need my actual like license and it needs the address need more accurate. >> The the address on my ID needs to match that. >> That may be the case cuz your passport doesn't have your address on Yeah, but I don't I don't my government ID don't say the >> but you understand the the unwill unwillingful touch or bite or whatever to somebody that especially a government employee that's sitting here with the package, you know, it would have been it would have been better for you to file a complaint to get your stuff instead of trying to get handle in your own from your side. Um let me just ask you from your point of view what happened. >> So she came in looking for her package. Okay. her school sent it back because it didn't have her full entire name on it. I told her typically we don't give packages out Bthoon Cookman. I said, "Let me at least go look and see what's here." I did find it. I brought it out to her and we went over a couple things. I told her, "I need an ID. I need a state ID. I need a government ID. You know, a driver's license, more or less, or a passport that I couldn't accept that." And this happened probably about a minute and a half, 2 minutes. We talked. So, finally says, "Look, ma'am, I've got another customer." I started to deal with the other customer and she goes, "Is that the package?" I says, "Yes, ma'am." She lunged at me. I backed into the post office and I held on to it and I just held it right here. Holding on to it. She grabbed her arm, went on under inside of mine and had her hands on it and then pulled it up to her mouth and bit the package with my hand. >> Sure, she just wanted her package, but biting during a scuffle led to physical contact and injury, which legally checks all the boxes for battery. And even though she claimed it wasn't intentional, she still admitted to it, sealing her own fate with that one line. I'm just going to walk out here. Apparently, there's a witness that you watched it all out here. [Music] >> Hey, ma'am. I just trying to talk to you real quick. Did you see what happened? >> Yeah, I see what happened. >> Okay. What What happened from you guys? And I apologize for stopping you. It just looked like you guys were talking. So, I was like, is this her or >> I just turned 18. >> I'm like, this is crazy. My birthday was literally yesterday. That was the whole point for the package when I was done. >> So, what happened? Okay, so basically um they so her package she forgot to put her last name on it and the mail basically tried to tell her that she can't get her package because there's no last name on it. And she was like, "Sir, I don't have my thing. Can I show you my ID, my birth?" He was like, "No, no, no, no." Right there. >> Yeah, they was they was there too. Oh, I think that's who he going to. >> Yeah, I think that too. He's going >> He was just arguing with them too about the same thing. >> That's when a girl went to snatching it and then that's when he held her like this so she wouldn't go get away. And he kept on calling AJ. You know who AJ is? No, he kept calling the name and she was just trying to but he had >> she was like, "Let me go. Let me go." And he wouldn't let her go. >> Did Did you bring your passport with you to try and pick up the package? >> No, but I told him like, "I'll go get the passport. I'll >> But in the meantime, you can't try to take the package." >> But he was telling me even with the stuff cuz I was trying to, you know, find a solution just to I'll come back, I'll bring you this, that, and that. And then I guess she was trying to get away and that's how the bike came up. But she's trying to get away from him. >> Okay. So, she basically was just trying to get her package. >> Well, I understand. What What is that? t-shirts. >> Okay. But you you kind of see how this got all blown out of proportion whether you agreed with whatever rules they had to follow or not. >> And then at some point did she tried to like I guess bite the package or something? >> Yeah. Bite the package to get it. >> To be honest, he was trying she was trying to get away from him. He wouldn't let her go and she was like, "Just get off me. Please just get off me." And he wouldn't. He dragged her all the way to the back and this happened in the front. >> Witnesses and postal staff gave the exact same version of events. She bit the package during the tugofwar over it. Case closed on who started the weirdest fight the post office has seen in a while. >> So, at this point, you're going to be placed under arrest for battery. Okay. We've got independent witnesses that stated that you lunged at him to try to grab the package and for some reason bit the package, which in turn bit him in the finger. He's got marks. So, maybe next time. >> I didn't. So, how much would it cost to get me? Like, how does this work? >> If it goes through a bail bond, it's $100. It's 10%. >> Yep. Your bail is $500. So, it's 10% or or $100, whichever is more. In this case, it's $100. >> So, if my mom if she can pay like online or something, >> then I just get released. >> So, you you'll have to do like your first your um what is it? First hearing or first? >> You have to go to first appearance. First, >> first appearance. That's when >> How long did that take? >> Um typically now you'll probably have to wait until what? The morning at 8. >> Oh, yeah. It's been 9:30. >> 9:30. Yeah. Oh my god. No, please. >> I got arrested. >> Okay. >> For what? >> Battery. >> I wasn't fighting a physical person, but what happened was I was in the post office and they had my package. I was trying to get my package. I went to grab my package. Me and the man, he swung me. I bit the package. He went to grab the package out my mouth. He scratched his hand. That's still bad. >> Awesome. Thank you. Let's go down here. He's telling me that the thing is 500 and the bond is 100 to get me out. >> Okay. >> No, the post office. >> In the car, I think. >> She eventually called her mom, but not in a panic. She was calm, calculated, and more concerned about the inconvenience than the consequences. It wasn't fear of the law. It was fear of waiting too long. >> How much go you were 17? >> You would just be a juvenile and we would have to take you to We just take juvenile detentional center. It's the family resource center. >> You'd still be processed the same way, but you'd go through the family resource center. >> Can I still go there? >> No, cuz you're an adult. Cuz you're an adult. >> Thank you. Goodbye, Dave. Doesn't matter. >> Doesn't matter. As >> soon as you turn 18, you're an adult. >> If this happened at 12:01 a.m., it would have been the same same process. >> I was born at 12:01. I just was trying to get my package and it >> How would I be? Cuz I'm in Tampa, so to Dayton. >> Do you want one of us to talk to her? Explain it to her. >> The money to her. >> Maybe you can send it to Kayla cuz Kayla's here. >> Ma'am. Kayla, come here. My mom's trying to talk. >> Ma'am. >> Yes. >> All right. This off this officer Martin Daytona Beach Police Department. >> We're just going to stand you up so she can do a uh a search of your person. >> Okay. >> You want to bring your knees up? >> I didn't see your car over here. I didn't know there was three of you on this call. I thought it was just you. >> Originally, I was the only one that pulled out and I let kind of watch your feet. All right. You guys ready? >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Okay, ma'am. What's your name? >> Lenora. >> Lenora. I just have to search you one more time since you're in their custody now. Okay. >> Do you have anything on you that's going to poke me, prick me, stick me? Anything like that? >> No. >> No. Um, are you wearing a bra with a wire in it or sports bra? >> I don't have one bra. >> No, bra. Okay, go ahead. Stand. Can you reach this wall here? Okay. No pockets in the leggings. >> Okay. Stay right there. She's good. >> Thank you. >> Do we need to change cops out or? >> No. >> In the end, she was arrested and charged with simple assault, made worse by the fact that her target was a federal employee. That bumps the situation up to a whole different level. Next up, what happens when a granddaughter thinks she can destroy grandpa's car and get away with it?
