How How much is a few [music] drinks? >> At least like seven drinks. >> Seven drinks. >> Why are you so sexy? >> A family hollowed out by drugs. A defiant glare that ends in steel cuffs. And beneath it all, one corrosive belief that consequences were for other people, not for them. >> Know anybody else? All I knew was my hair was being 251. So that means you're more than double the delivers. When coddling hardens into a delusion of immunity, reality doesn't argue. It intervenes quietly, firmly, and without mercy. On February 5th, 2025, a million-doll home became the scene of a serious family conflict that brought police to the door. What started as an argument between a daughter and her parents spiraled fast, leaving consequences no one saw coming. >> Still inside. >> Hi, thanks for coming. She's destroying the house inside banging. We just came out here cuz I was afraid she would hit us. >> Okay. So So she's just throwing stuff around and breaking it. >> I assume I'm too afraid to go. >> Sorry. He's afraid. >> He's afraid. Um >> I was too afraid to be honest. I was just throwing stuff around. >> Gotcha. All right. And um has has she violated the order in the past? No, she's she's been pretty good, but she was living in a sober living house, but then she got kicked out of there and we're not sure what it's the story's really sketchy from there. And um I I don't know what she's been up to. We got her a hotel to stay at for a while because she couldn't stay here and then I I don't know. >> PC order violation. She showed up and asked if she could take a shower, but it didn't matter. I mean, she just pushed her way through the door, and I'm too small for her. >> Are you willing to provide a recorded statement? No. >> Okay. Where is she at right now? I can hear her. Is she in that living room right there? >> Maybe. I don't know. >> Does she know or we told we I kept telling her I'm going to call the police? >> Okay. So, she does know that the police are coming. >> She doesn't know that we've called. >> She doesn't know that we've called now. >> Nobody's inside. More people get here. I'm going to rotate out and take over the dog side of it. >> Okay, sounds good. >> Was destroying the bathroom. So, we just kind of sat there for a minute and we both decided let's just go downstairs together. That's about when we exercise. >> Does she have access to the lock safe where the guns are at? >> No. Is it safe lock? >> It's okay. Yes. So, no, she can't. >> Okay. Is this a felony? >> Not so far. >> Oh, well. >> Did you hear a record say something? >> No, it's just we're getting SWAT out for this. >> Yeah, I think it's just cuz it's the uh the gun element. >> Okay. Leaving rehab put Lacy in a fragile state, but once officers learned there was a secured gun safe inside the house, everything shifted. SWAT and K9 were called in and the mood turned heavy in a heartbeat. >> So, at any point did she assault either one of you? >> No, she's on something. I don't know what. So, I just hit record. She started saying, "You don't love me." She just started screaming all kinds of stuff. Stuff that didn't even make sense. You could hear the recording. It doesn't make sense. >> I remember this place. I served an I served the order. >> Did you? >> I was driving here. I was like, man, this looks real familiar for some reason. >> Nice area. >> Police officers. Lacy, you're under arrest. Come out through the front door. >> Do you have her phone number? >> Come out or force will be used against you. >> Police officers. Lacy, [clears throat] you're under arrest. Come out through the front door. >> She didn't make any threats to harm you. >> Oh, she did. >> She did. What did she say? >> I think she said, "I'll you up. I'll uh" She called me a She said, "I'll come I'll come get you, bitch." >> Um I don't know. It just It was so many things >> besides besides her saying that she was going to you up. Did she explain why? Explain how uh did she come at you at all? Uh, no. She was still in the bathroom. Just like the door was shut. This door was shut between us as she was yelling this and I just stayed away. >> So, she just said that though like she didn't come out. She didn't come at you. She didn't display any weapons. >> Okay. >> Lacy, the Federal Way Police Department, we know you are inside. You are under arrest. We need you to come out the front of the house with your hands up. >> Lacy, you're under arrest. Come out through the front door or force will be used against >> Just so we can talk. I I can't hear you. Can you open the door? I I can't hear you. Hey, just open the door so I can hear you. Hey, Lacy, just open the door for us so we can hear you. I'm trying to hear you. >> Officers began calmly trying to deescalate and talk things down. But when emotions override common sense, patience doesn't always work. She continued barricading herself inside, forcing SWAT and K9 to move in as tension climbed by the minute. >> Just just slide the door open for me so I can hear you. >> We have a clear shot from behind the bushes, so if she steps out, we're going to just tase her. thing. >> I think we pop our >> You're going to get tased. >> My mom's going to pop you still. >> Go, go, go. She's back in. >> No. No. Just back up. She's back inside with the dark. >> So, let's try let's try to clear our way to the stairs. Just going to clear to the stairs. >> What about just going in the slider up there? Just coming inside like on top. >> Level one upstairs slider. See if that's open. And if that might be a more direct [music] >> what my mom I'm sorry. >> Lacy, show your hands or you're going to get bit. >> Can you get around that side and just go straight on it? Lay down on the ground. Lay down on the ground. Lay down on the ground. There you go. Just stay right there. If you move, you're going to get bit. Wait, can I tell you what I did? >> Stand up first. >> Stand up. >> I'm going to stand you up. >> On three. One, two, three. >> Here we go. >> I love me. >> Tell me cuz you don't know what to. >> She knew the risks and didn't want this spiraling any further. For the family, this was heartbreaking. watching the child they raised struggle with addiction and having to seek a protective order just to feel safe in their own home. >> Little [ __ ] >> Yeah, that's right. Tammy, >> what's up? >> Real quick. >> Why? >> Don't do that. Why >> don't do that? >> Why? >> I got it. >> Why? >> Cuz I like your haircut. >> Can I put her in here? >> Shut up, fool. >> Here we go. Right back. >> Come on. I'm sorry. I didn't hear your >> Yeah, cuz you're a dumbass little Okay. >> Okay, Daddy. >> Trist, let him do it. Tell her what you're doing. Back your hands. >> I'M SORRY. MY STEPDAD JUST TOLD ME TO ACT CUZ I'M NOT RUSHING. >> WHAT? >> LISTEN, you need to you need to comply or your shoulders are going to get hurt. Okay. >> We don't want to hurt your shoulders. >> I don't like you. >> Okay. >> You need to hold still for the officers, okay? So they can check you. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Get this all figured out. >> This a probe. >> I think Austin said one. One of two. >> Hey guys. Guys, >> guys, we got to keep better control of her than that. Cannot let her walk around like that. Okay, we're going to stay right here, Lacy. You're not going to move till we finish the search. >> Don't move. >> Yep. >> You dumb. >> Lacy, calm down. >> I hate you. Well, >> Lacy, keep your free. >> Hey, Lacy. >> You don't know what a dumb is. >> Everything's being recorded. Okay, Lacy. >> You don't like you? >> Tommy, you done? Hey, Tommy. Make sure you CAN DO THIS. [screaming] OKAY. NOT A HURRY. >> TAMMY. TELL ME my spot so I can help. >> Gorilla glue. >> Okay. Are we good? >> I think we're good. [laughter] >> Okay, that's good. >> TAMMY, SORRY. >> Let me put her in Let me put her in the car. >> Yeah, that's fine. >> She double locked, guys. >> Yeah, she's locked. >> While being escorted to the patrol car, she resisted and slipped one hand free from the cuffs. That split second raised the stakes. Officers immediately adjusted to regain control and ensure everyone's safety. Handcuffs came off. >> Okay. >> Can you face away from me, Lacy? >> Okay. >> Okay. Put your hand behind her back, Lacy. >> Yes, sir. >> Pull her out. >> Okay. >> Yeah. Pull her out. [ __ ] Why are you so sexy? >> Come on. I see you. >> Keep her. Keep her against the car. Lacy, >> we have to We have to get you stuck. >> Okay. Okay. >> Lacy. Lacy. >> There we are. Okay. >> Okay. >> You just stand right there. Okay. >> Yes, sir. >> Thank you. >> Come on, Key. I'll get the other one. >> Relax. >> I am relaxed. >> Tell my mom to relax. >> Let's get that behind your back. Okay. Stop. >> Okay. Sit down. Okay. >> Okay. Fine. [ __ ] Jesus. >> Okay. >> We're going to put her in this. >> Oh, >> don't carry so >> in the car. >> Oh, dude. One step in. >> Let it go. Let it go. I will get in my self. You dumb rookie. You want to step in? >> Let him. They're just mad. >> They're just mad. Rogers. >> Stop. >> Sorry. 3. Yeah. >> In the end, she was arrested and now faces charges of violating a protective order, criminal property damage, and resisting an officer. If convicted, she could be looking at up to 3 years behind bars and 24 months of probation. So, what are your thoughts on this family's tragedy? Share them in the comments below. After a family torn apart by drugs, unchecked emotions pushed everything further off the rails. On September 22nd, 2025, police were dispatched after a sister reported that her younger sibling was out of control, damaging property inside the home. When officers arrived, it quickly became clear this wasn't just a family spat. The situation had already spiraled. >> Open the door. >> Broken windows locked. GPD, >> open the door. >> GPD, OPEN THE DOOR. GRAND POLICE DEPARTMENT. >> What happened? Step outside. >> It's my house. My sister just went through a lot. >> Okay. >> She beat me over. She broke my toilet. >> And you're by yourself? >> Yeah. Are you by yourself? >> Yeah, like she literally broke my toilet. >> What happened? >> I think she just uh she's going through like a heart. >> Okay, that's okay. >> I don't want to like >> It's okay. I need to make sure that the house is clean. >> Like tie up my hair. >> Yeah, but on the couch. Okay. >> It's [laughter] not her problem. That's her. >> Hey, >> please wheeler. She's like right there. >> Stay there. Get back. >> That's crazy. >> I'm sorry I'm naked. I have nothing. >> You don't. >> Can she at least put on some clothes? They're like looking at her. She's >> go Let's go get her clothes. >> Can she? >> No. Go get her clothes. >> Go get her shirts right there. >> What's your name? >> Huh? >> What's your name? >> Your name? Please, >> hold on. Hold on. >> Don't yell at her like that. >> She needs Listen, you need to also calm down. Okay. How much alcohol have you guys had today? >> Not that bad. >> Not that bad. But some enough to get >> like five. >> Five. What? >> Five like shots. >> What is your name? Your name? >> Samantha Cody. Can I at least her dress? The suspect appeared partially dressed, lacking appropriate clothing, signaling a sharp decline in behavioral control and personal boundaries. This may not have been about alcohol alone. It also reflected a psychological bid for attention under extreme emotional pressure. >> Listen, if you don't cooperate with me, you'll be in cuffs. >> Okay, I'm sorry. Samantha Cody, >> no. Well, put put those on. >> I have a whole bodysuit. Can you give me that? That brown one? >> Yes. Yes. Yes. She has five like shots. >> Shannon, what's your last name? >> Can I at least dress ya? >> Okay. >> Her boyfriend cheated on it. That don't give her the right to come in here and act like this. >> But I don't want her to go to >> Listen, you don't get to say so. Okay. Go sit on the Yes. >> Listen, it's just me. I'm going to get you dressed. Okay. >> All right. Those are your pants right there. >> Yes. Why don't you have clothes on? >> Because it's me, my sister. >> Okay, put some clothes on. Hurry up. >> Okay. I'm sorry. Can you guys >> Here, let me see the blinker. I'll put it on. >> Can you hold it like that? I'm so so so sorry. >> Can I run in her to her back room to get a shirt on? >> I'll get you a shirt. >> I will. >> There's There's a hoodie. We're not playing magical clothes. Was it physical? >> No, it was. >> I'm sorry. Don't leave me. >> Let's go back. >> Okay. >> Say don't leave me. >> Okay, listen. Tell me what went on. >> I don't know. >> Yeah. What do you mean you don't know? >> I'm of my age. I'm 22, but I don't know what happened. >> Please. I'm so sorry. >> Okay, just take a breather. Okay, you're not making anything better by this act acting like this. Okay. >> Basically, we have all these drinks and I saw that's our fault. >> Like this. You have all these drinks. >> That's the Gatorade. Like, you know, like >> Okay. You've been drinking. >> I mean, no. She came over to my place >> today. The sister seemed to suffer the most, watching someone she loves unravel in real time. She tried to steady her, even helping her get properly dressed, but the suspect's response carried a defensive edge, immature tone, dismissive attitude, and a refusal to take accountability. >> Has she been drinking? >> Have you been drinking? I think she just hurt cuz like she said that her baby >> she didn't punch you, scratch you, kick you, bite you, >> excuse me, >> headbutt you, nothing. >> Nothing. I just was trying to take care of her. How much have you had to drink today? >> Me and my sister relax. So my baby daddy left me. She broke her phone. So I was guiding her with my phone and it's gone. >> And you were doing what? >> My my phone. My sister broke her phone and slammed it against the wall. And so I was helping her with mine. >> And then what happened? >> I don't remember. I >> Because you drank too much. >> Oh, yes. I don't know. >> Okay, settle down. Settle down. >> Sorry. >> Tell me how that couch got like that. Or the the toilet. How did the toilet get like that? >> Her her house been broken. >> The toilet that just broke. >> This tree outside been cut down because it went >> Listen to me. The toilet. How did the toilet get broken and water in the hallway? >> It's been broken. No, it hasn't. Yes, it has. >> Your sister just told me that you broke it. >> No, she had to cut this tree down for the toilet to flush and fix. >> I didn't do it. >> Chill out. >> I never did. >> Stop. >> Stop. >> Stop. >> I didn't. >> You're not making anything better. >> Has she been drinking >> a little bit? probably. But >> follow my finger. >> Don't Don't turn your head. Just follow my finger. Don't turn your head. Just follow my finger with your eyes. >> So you have had nothing to drink. >> Probably later than that. But >> what do you mean to my house though? >> I know. >> This is my house. >> Here's a simple question. Have you had any alcohol today? >> Has she had al alcohol today? >> A little bit. But my mom's going to get her. My mom's going to get her. I don't want her to go to jail. My mom's literally >> For a spoiled brat, truth doesn't matter as much as who can shout the loudest. She showed no real remorse for the thousands of dollars in damage. Only frustration that the world wasn't revolving around her emotional meltdown. >> And I don't know. She never been involved with cops. That's why. I think she 18. >> How old are you? >> 23. >> What happened with these these arms right here? How come we have bruises all over? >> Baby daddying smashed my arm and stomped on me. >> I'm sorry. You are not the one in charge here. Don't pull away from me. Don't talk over me or we're going to go to the home. Put your arms down. Put your arms down. STOP. >> STOP. Get up. Get up. Get up. Get up. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> They're arresting me. Come here. >> This my wallet. It's in her house. >> Go sit down. >> Are you the mom or Okay. >> She didn't punch you. Is this all her blood? >> Nothing. No. >> That was mine cuz I was scratching my pimple. >> Your what? >> My pencil like in the thigh. That's more blood than >> No, it was that. But my pants is wet because of that. >> What? What are you? I'm not smelling alcohol on her. There's negative HGN that I can see. >> She's She's drunk. >> Are you drunk? No. >> No. She She's drunk. >> She literally just poured my toilet, bro. >> Yeah, that she's she's drunk for sure. >> So, you want to press charges against her? So, she's 18. >> She'll go for D or D. >> Okay, I can do that. That's a good question. But they're both drunk. Toilet's been broken. There was some fighting going on. I don't know what's going on with her in her personal life, but it sounds like >> some things are going on that she's kind of acting out, right? >> Yeah. >> I appreciate you guys. >> Take care of her. >> What do you mean? >> She destroyed the house >> and I said I'm not going to press charges. >> Yeah, but we're taking her for disturbing the peace and drunken disorder in >> She's going to sober up and be out the very next day. I don't want her to. >> Well, you what do you want us to escalate? >> I want her to leave. [laughter] >> So, you want you want her to come back in here and destroy. >> You guys are acting like children. >> You're about ready to go, too. >> Samantha began to panic and regret calling the police, urging them to reconsider the arrest. Her compassion came from a place of family loyalty. But softening consequences in moments like this can unintentionally blur the boundaries that personal responsibility depends on. >> You need to take her to jail, too. She needs to sober up. >> Yeah. I can't take her if she's drunk in her house. I can't do that. >> She was fighting in my apartment two days ago, so I two days ago. There's nothing I can do about it today. Okay. >> How drunk is she? >> She's She's drunk. She can't walk on her own. >> Oh. When when is um when can she get up? >> Probably tomorrow. >> Tomorrow. Yeah. Okay. I'll pick her up tomorrow. >> Thank you. >> Hey, do you What is her I'm sorry. What is her name? >> Um Shannon Cody, >> you're going to end You're going to end up in jail, too, if you don't go inside your house. You >> 22. >> I'm sorry, sir. >> How much you had to drink? >> I don't know. >> You don't know how much you drank? >> What? I'm sorry, you guys. >> I'll just do mine. >> Here, undo your hands. Undo your hands. >> I'm sorry. >> Spread your feet and just stay right there. >> Sorry, you guys. I'm sorry. Can you take my phone to my >> Yeah, we'll get it. >> He has my yellow iPhone. >> Okay. >> Did she hit you at all? >> No. >> No. My sister Nebula came on me. I'm sorry. >> How much you Stop. Stop. >> I'm sorry. I lost balance. I'm sorry. >> Okay. She don't have your phone. >> I'm sorry. >> Shannon. Shannon. Shannon. Do you have a driver's license? >> Yeah. This is the computer. I'll do it real quick. >> I'm sorry. >> Do me a favor. Look that way for me. Look that way. Look that way. Okay. I'm going to put the seat belt on. >> Hidden under a blanket. >> I was thinking about >> Good thing I saw you. What happened to your eye? Is that you you hit it? >> It was nothing for my sister. I >> Okay. >> Was stealing some stuff for my baby daddy. >> You're fine. >> Sorry, guys. >> We all have bad days. It's okay. Look, she thinks she lost her family. >> I never been here before. >> You're going to You're going to go in. You're going to sleep. You're going to wake up the next day and be right out. >> And I'm going to hate myself. >> We just can't have you going around town breaking toilets. can't be breaking toilets. >> In the end, the woman was taken to jail, facing charges of obstruction. Yet, the deeper sentence may be the cycle of volatility she remains trapped in, one she has yet to break free from. After one emotional collapse, fresh provocation sparked yet another round of chaos. On October 9th, 2024, police responded to what seemed like a routine traffic crash. Within minutes, a confrontational attitude and the belief that whoever yells louder wins pushed the encounter far beyond a simple accident report. So, what happened next? >> Hello, I'm Officer Watson Winter Park Police Department. Do you know the reason I'm stopping you today? >> No. Why? >> Because there at the intersection you ran through, you didn't stop at any of the stop signs. You didn't yield to any of the traffic. I I stood there and watched you. Let me get your license, registration, insurance. >> I'm in a rental. >> Okay, then let me see the the lease agreement or rental agreement. I I'm like, man, I wonder what's going on over here. All these cops showing up in this spotlight. Like, what is all the cops doing over there? What >> is something going on over here, sir? >> Yes, ma'am. >> Just be calm, >> sir. There's a vehicle crash that where the vehicle went onto the train tracks. Do you have any other questions? >> No, we I I was pulling up and I was show I'm like, "Yo, there's like four cops right here. Something must be happening." and he creeped through slowly. Like we was not trying to come. >> You still ran through the whole intersection. Didn't stop. >> What? Talking about the the >> the train tracks right over the train tracks right there. >> All the complex. I'm right here. That's all I'm saying. I'm not doing nothing. >> Just be just keep your mouth closed, bro. >> Where are you guys heading to? >> Going to the uh to the bar. >> To the bar? >> Which bar? business, >> man. Don't ma'am. >> It's none of your business for me. >> Listen, is is there a reason for you to be >> First of all, you are and you're not going to come like that. My life is not yours. >> Okay, that's fine. But I'm just walking up. I have no clue what's going on. And she's telling me none of your own business. All I'm doing is conversing. >> You're a friend now. Let me step out all right now. You're not smoking my friend's car. I'm not I'm not saying anything. Please. Okay. >> I'm just saying you got your dad. You got your dash. Everything is on. Like I'm just talking to you guys. That's all. I don't know what he told you. I wanted to do your friend. >> Go ahead. Go ahead. I'm listening to you. I'm listening to you on the passenger side. This is a real I don't have anything. >> Notably, she wasn't even the driver. Yet, she was the loudest voice on scene. While the man answered clearly and cooperated, she kept interrupting, talking over everyone, trying to control the narrative. Sometimes the loudest person in the room isn't the one who's right. You >> mind just stepping out for me just so I can separate the two of you? >> Oh my god. >> Y'all [ __ ] harassing him right now. That's against his rights. >> Just like I was trying to tell you was against my right for you to tell me I could just walk to my vehicle. Look, this has nothing to do with her. All right. >> Get your license. >> Not for Not for right now. You cannot step out the car. >> You can't tell me what I can and can't do. >> You cannot step out the car. >> You cannot tell me what I can. told you you're going to stay in the car and you're going to wait. >> Okay, that's fine. You're not hurting me. >> Why y'alling with my friend? He didn't do nothing wrong. >> Show me in your little book where you got the right to with him like that. You don't You ain't got the [ __ ] right. That's why you standing with your mouth shut cuz you know you ain't got no right. >> You keep talking. I don't have to answer your question. >> You don't have no right. >> Just keep running your mouth. Keep running your mouth. Keep running your mouth just like they do. >> I have rights, too, [ __ ] I'm American. >> Keep running your mouth. Keep running your mouth. Go ahead. >> [ __ ] I'm American. >> So, here. Just put your stuff on the car. All right. Do you have anything else on you? >> All right. On your back, palms together. >> Listen. Hold on. What's your name? Anything with What's your name? >> You cannot have my ID. You cannoting. No. >> Oh, yeah. Yeah. I got that. Yeah. Yeah. I got that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> Yeah. Ma'am, wait. But you're not f to with me. >> Ma'am, what's your name? >> I have rights. >> Okay. What's your name? >> Ma'am, what is your name? >> None of your business. >> Do you have a reason? >> So, hold on. All right. How about How about this? I'm going to let you know. I'm going to give you two chances to step out the car and get in these handcuffs or I'm going to rip you out this car. >> When officers detected the odor of marijuana, the tone shifted fast. What could have been resolved calmly escalated because she insisted she knew the law despite only half understanding it. That stubborn confidence turned a minor issue into something far more complicated. >> Okay, >> so you got two options. Pick or choose. >> Times you going to violate my rights right now. >> All right, let's go. >> No, don't touch me. >> I didn't do nothinging wrong. OW. [screaming] WHY ARE YOU TOUCHING ME? STOP IT. WHY ARE YOU TOUCHING ME RIGHT NOW? DAD, I didn't do anything wrong. Dad. Dad, please help me. This caught ME ON THE GROUND FOR NO REASON. I didn't do nothing wrong. Dad, Dad, please help me. I I don't know where I'm at. He got me in handcuffs for noing reason. I was a passenger and somebody else's car. I just feel nothinging wrong. Dad. Dad. No. Dad, help me. Dad, please help me. >> Where are you at? >> Do you tell my dad where I'm at? >> Tell him where I'm at. >> I want to talk to your completed officer. >> I want to talk to the person in charge. >> No, they're [ __ ] hurting me, man. You >> I got it. I got it. I got it. Just let go. >> No, man. Wrong. >> Why am I in handcuffs? >> Why am I in handcuffs? >> You Just TAKE A SEAT, >> DAD. >> Take a seat. >> Dad, help me. >> Take a seat. >> No. >> Careful. >> They're good. >> Stop. Stop doing that. Stop it. >> We're good. We're good. >> Yeah. You >> We're good. >> Wipe it. Wipe it. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Just showing them. >> Hold on. Let me light it up. Do it again. Do it again. Do it again. I got you. I got you. Come on, dude. I told you. >> She reacted like someone who had never truly faced consequences. In an entitled mindset, truth feels negotiable. Spitting on an officer wasn't just disrespect. It showed a complete loss of control and disregard for legal boundaries. >> You need gloves. You good? >> I got some. Mommy, >> you want me to look on this side or are you good? Uh, >> if you wanted to take a look around, see if you see anything. >> Is the car still on the track? Look at that. All that just for just for that. Like come on now. >> I mean, if they would have stood quiet when we were back there, none of this would have happened. >> Just stepped out, collect the weed, have a nice day. But no, I'm assuming it's going to be hers, but they just leave it. I'm not going to take it. >> I mean, unless I'm going to hit him with a open container. Stop. >> Please let me out these. >> Take a breather. Hold on. >> What are my charges? >> I'm not going to talk to you if you're going to yell at me. >> Sir, what are my charges? That fat put me in handcuffs for no reason. >> I'm not going to talk to you unless you calm down. >> Okay. >> What are my charges? >> Okay. First and foremost, >> tell me my charges. >> Listen to me. Are you going to listen or you just going to keep talking? >> Tell me my charges. >> If you listen, >> you're going to tell me where you're wrong. >> If you listen, I will tell you your charges. Can you listen? >> What am I doing wrong? So, he did a traffic stop. All right. Pennsylvania versus Mims, Supreme Court case that says when he tells you to exit a car, you exit the car. You refuse to do so. >> Uh, y'all can get banned. >> It doesn't matter. >> Kevin, >> I don't know what that means. >> You kicked him. >> But you kicked my officer and then spit on him. >> So, you're going to >> You threw me in the car. >> You're going for a felony charges. >> He took me to >> All right, we're not talking no more. Sir, we're good to go. >> Sir, >> she's coming back. You bang your head one more time, we're going to put you in a wrap. >> I don't care. You bang your head one more time, we're going to put you in a wrap. Do you understand me? >> Stop. >> But that not acceptable whatsoever. >> When words stopped working, she switched to action. Her body became her last tool of resistance. But in an era where everything is recorded and officers are equipped to manage escalation, that gamble only accelerated the inevitable outcome. >> All right, she's going in. >> I don't want you to help me. Look, I'm not going to hurt nobody, sir. >> Yeah, well, you shouldn't have been banging your head. >> Yeah, I'm not going to hurt nobody. Good. >> Great. >> Let's keep it like that. >> Awesome. >> Here, step on out. >> No, >> you >> No, I didn't want to step in. Y'all >> All right, so you're stepping out now. You didn't want to be >> I'm NOT STEPPING OUT. I'M GOING TO SUE YOU. >> Y'all have no reason to be doing this to me. >> None. >> None at all. I'm glad you see this [ __ ] bro. Glad you see this [ __ ] I was not doing nothing wrong, man. Y'all cops pig popping mother. >> Stop moving. >> Sorry little [ __ ] >> Stop moving. >> Sorry, [ __ ] All right. >> You ain't got no Go ahead. >> It make you feel better treat a woman like this. >> I didn't do nothing. >> No. I [ __ ] have six rods in my elbow. >> Look at my arm. Y'all can't put me on my back like that. >> You have no reason to arrest me. Good. I'mma fight this in court and all youing officers are going to be charged. >> Good for you. >> I did not have no reason to be arrested. >> None whatsoever. Y'all got me tied up like a body bag. You feel good about yourself, big man? >> Oh, I have to say, [ __ ] you had a woman held >> little here. >> I didn't do nothinging wrong. What are my charges? >> What are my charges? >> Battery. >> Battery. And [ __ ] hand officer after they arrested me for nothing. >> Yep. >> YEAH. GOOD. HOPE YOU HAVE A good lawyer, you dumb piece of [ __ ] A pick me up and carry me to the back seat. Go ahead. Y'all got this. >> 180 lb of me. Oh, y'all better not break my arm cuz I promise you I'm suing. [screaming] In the end, she was taken to jail and charged with two counts of serious battery and one count of non-violent resisting arrest. Though later reduced through a plea deal, she still received 12 months of probation and a $768 fine. 6 mi on foot may leave you tired, but 12 months on probation is long enough to learn that the world doesn't bend to your volume. Do you think a year of probation is enough for a Karen like Sophia to finally wake up? Arrogance didn't stop there. It quickly turned into outright defiance. [music] On December 7th, 2025, officers initiated a traffic stop for speeding and failing to signal. What began as a minor violation escalated quickly, not because of the infraction itself, but because of how the driver chose to respond. Officer Hashoon and police, they got a body camera around. Result Jover is for one, you didn't use a turn signal when you're coming out of Cadillac tax and you're going 48 on center on Main Street here. >> Is there any reason you're going so fast? >> I didn't hear anything because >> All right. I pulled you over because you didn't use a turn signal coming out of Cadillac Jacks and you're going 48 on Main Street here. Do you know the speed limit here? >> I do. I live here. I have to pee. I'm going down the street to my friend's house and I was in Cadillac. They didn't want to let me go to the bathroom. >> I can't hear you. Say a little bit louder. >> I said, "I understand what you're saying." You said I was going over the free limit, leaving Cadillac Jacks or whatever. And I wasn't trying to. I'm going to my friend's house. I have to use the bathroom. >> Okay. >> Um they weren't trying to let anyone use the bathroom after, you know, 2:00 and they shut it down. Um, and my friend lived off of like Four Seasons very closely. >> Okay. >> I was trying to get out of the parking lot, so that was that's my only excuse. There's really no excuse. >> Okay. >> I just have to pee and I just when I go to the bathroom, I get to my friend's house. >> Okay. Do you have your license? Yeah, >> just insurance. >> Um, my insurance is on my phone. >> That's fine. How many drinks would you say you've had tonight? I haven't really been drinking. I really just have to pee honestly and I'm not trying to pee on myself. I've peed on myself in the car and it's not pleasant trying to get that out. >> I got you. I can kind of smell it on you though. It's to just You want to be honest and just tell me how much you've had. >> I'm sure. >> What's that? I can't hear you. Sorry. >> I won't say anything. Okay. All right, go ahead and hang out here. I'll be right back with you. Okay. >> Repeating the same justification suggested an effort to reinforce her own narrative. However, officers rely on observable indicators, including the odor of alcohol. The contrast between her statements and the physical signs on scene shaped the direction of the investigation. >> I need to just make sure that you're good to drive. So, I'd like to run you through a few tests. If you're good to drive, we'll get you out of here. Okay. >> Get out the car. Can I >> or you are going to get out of the car? If you don't get out of the car, I'm going to take you out of the car and you're gonna get a resisting charge and you'll go to jail for that. >> As of right now, you're not going to jail. >> What's that? >> I haven't done anything wrong. I just want to go to the bathroom. Can we go to Hooks and I can pee and I can do your I just really have to go to the bathroom. Like I I've already peed on myself a little bit. >> Okay, I'll tell you what. If you want to hop in the back of my car, I'll take you to the police department. You can go to the bathroom there. I can run through the test here. We can come back here. >> I'm not doing anything. >> I'm gonna have you step out of the car so I can run you through these tests. Otherwise, I'm going to take you out of the car and you're going to go to jail for resistance. >> Well, that's I guess my right. >> So, are you going to get out of the car or am I going to have to take you out? >> Why do I have to get out of the car? >> Because I'm telling you to. Pennsylvania versus Mims allows me to order you out of the car. >> What am I getting out of the car? >> Pennsylvania versus Mims allows me to take you out of the car. >> Illinois. >> Doesn't matter. It's a Supreme Court case. >> I wasn't skiing. >> Are you going to get out of the car or not? >> Wrong. I'm not going to get out of the car. >> This is your last chance. I'm going to have you get out of the car. If you don't, I'm going to take >> you pulled over. >> She was given a final opportunity to cooperate, but declined, placing personal interpretation of rights above established traffic law pushed the encounter into escalation. When dialogue no longer proved effective, the officer had to intervene directly to continue the lawful process. >> No, cuz I can really have my window pulled up. And now you're now you're using excessive force. >> Go ahead and step out. Excessive force trying to pull me out the car. >> My bad. >> Like, get off of me. >> No. Get off of me. Get the off of me. If I have a bruise that's on y'all and I'M get the off of me. They're hurting me. They're hurting me. They're hurting me. They're hurting me. They're hurting me. I haven't done anything wrong. I didn't do anything wrong. I didn't do anything wrong. I didn't do anything wrong. That's crazy. And I'm going to have your bruis on my face and my knees and my chest and my arm. >> Help me. G. Tell the mirror to look at my location. >> For what? >> Come on. Stand up. >> For what? >> For white [ __ ] privilege. Like for real. I'm not standing up. I didn't do anything wrong. >> Okay. >> I'm still trying to figure out >> charge resisting police officer if they're not standing up when we tell you. >> What do you mean resisting? >> Yes. >> You haven't told me what I've been arrested for. >> He just told you like four times. >> No, you didn't tell me four times. You just got here. He was here. You just got >> standing here the whole time. >> Be [ __ ] for real. >> I am for real. >> I know my rights. >> Okay. >> Okay. I don't need your help. Get off of me. I don't need your help. >> I can stand up myself. Please get off of me. Both of you, please let me go ahead and get another charge. >> This time I don't need your help standing up. Please let me go. Stand up. >> Can you both let me go? I will stand up on my own. Stand up. >> I can stand up on my own. >> It's a third charge. Stand up. >> What do you mean? I can stand up on my own. And you're both still holding me against my rights. I can't stand up. Let me go. >> You're under arrest. >> How? For what? >> Resisting on my own. I can I can't stand up on my own. As her arguments drifted away from facts, her tone shifted. She moved from evidence to emotion, invoking privilege like a shield. But in the face of a clearly structured procedure, that shield wasn't strong enough to reverse momentum. >> Let me go. What am I being arrested for? >> Told you three times already. >> What? What was the first, third, second, or second time? RESISTING. HOW? HOW? Let me go. Get off of me. Get off of me. You pulled me out of my car. >> Is your name Ashley? >> No, it's not. >> What is your name? >> It's not my name. You don't even know my name. >> What is your name? >> You tell me. You pulled up here like, you know, >> you don't even know my name. You're just >> Here's here's the option. >> And dragging me for what? >> Here comes charge number four. >> Charge number four? There's no one, two, or three. I didn't do anything wrong. >> Put your feet in the car. We're going to assist you into the car. >> I pulled over. >> Put your feet in the car or we're going to assist. >> No one told me anything. I gave my license. No one told me anything. >> We're going to assist you into the car. >> Of course you are. >> Okay. Put your feet in the car, please. >> For what? >> You're going to jail >> for For what? >> Resisting a peace officer. >> I'm not resisting. I haven't resisted anything. >> There's charge number four. >> Charge number four. I'm taking y'all to court. >> Go ahead. >> That's fine. >> I will. >> We get overtime for it. Get in the car. >> I know. >> Okay. He's going to help you in the car if you don't >> I don't need help. >> Like I didn't need help out the car. >> This is your last warning. Get in the car. >> I don't I haven't done anything wrong. And don't touch me. I don't want to be touched. I don't need help doing anything. >> I don't need help doing anything. I'm trying to understand. You keep saying resisting arrest. >> No one told me what I was being arrested for. You're talking about resisting. >> You're You're manhandling me. You're manhandling me and it's against mying right. >> Frankly, when someone stops listening, debating becomes a waste of breath. Officers followed protocol and transported her to the station. Yet, she kept talking as if a few more words might somehow fix what had already unfolded. >> All right, so I'm going to explain this to you. Are you willing to listen to it or not? >> Nothing to me. I didn't do anything wrong. >> Are you going to listen to me? Can we talk like adults, please? adult. You manhandle me out of my car for no reason. >> Do you want to know why that happened? >> It doesn't matter why it happened. I didn't do anything wrong. >> It does matter. >> So, what did you manhandle me for? Cuz somebody >> When I ask you four or five times to get out of the car, I explain to you the >> You didn't ask me. >> Let's simmer down for a second so I can talk to you. >> You did not. >> So, there's a court case. I didn't ask. >> Is your camera recording? >> You did not ask me four or five times to get out of anything. First of all, >> what you can do is you can foy this body camera and see how you are. Stop cutting me off. You never asked me to get out of my car. >> So, I'm going to have you step out of the car. >> You did. Your friend pulled up and you guys dragged me out of my car and have stripes on my knees and my forehead because of that. And I'm suing. >> You're born in 95, right? So, you're not listening. You understand that? >> What are you looking for, officer? >> Your car is going to shut up. I don't give a What are you looking for? >> Are you going to shut up? What were you looking for in my car? What did you stop me for? I'm suing. I have nothing to do whatever you and your department is looking for. So I'm suing. You have no reason to pull me over again. You have no reason. You have nothing to go on and I'm suing the out of BPD. I don't even live in Bloomington. So again, do what you want to do. I refuse all tests. >> Okay. >> I refuse it. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Well, we're going to go to the hospital then. >> We're not. And I refuse them tests. >> Are you driving? >> I know my rights. I work I work in healthcare. I refuse. >> Well, I don't know for how much longer with this charge. >> What do you mean how much longer? I don't >> charge. It doesn't look that great. >> I've done nothing wrong. I What do you mean? >> We're going to go to the hospital. >> False charges >> if you if you refuse. >> False charges. >> Are you going to listen? >> That is >> false charges. You pulled me over cuz I was black. Or because >> how am I going to see you? It's It's 2:00 in the morning. >> How am I going to know if you're want to do hash? How do the >> How does that make any sense? I don't know how how >> I'm behind you out. How do I go? Like you can you can search the car. Ain't [ __ ] in my >> [ __ ] >> All right, Miss Bass, go ahead and hop out for me. When you do, turn around and face the car for me. >> For what? >> Cuz I said so. >> You're not. >> For Ashley Bass, the ending wasn't the courtroom victory she predicted. She was charged with speeding, driving under the influence, and resisting an officer. If convicted, she could face fines up to $2,000, 50 hours of community service, and a license suspension of up to 12 months. After a display of cold stubbornness and expensive lesson now weights ahead on December 7th, 2025, Downer's Grove, Illinois, in the middle of a snow-covered night, what looked like a routine traffic stop took a sharp turn. The issue wasn't just the steering wheel. It was the belief that traffic laws are somehow negotiable. And here's what actually unfolded. >> Hello. How are you? >> Hi. >> What uh what happened? >> Well, I looked at the wrong way. >> What do you mean you looked at the wrong way? >> Yeah, I thought it was this way, but it wasn't. It's cuz the maps were confusing. >> I gota So, how did you get on this side of the road? >> Cuz I was trying to go to the 7-Eleven, but I thought it was the entrance cuz it was like clear. So, I'm like, "Oh, this is the entrance." >> So, what? You thought this was like a drive? >> Yeah. Like I said, of the snow go in. Yeah. >> Okay. I went in. >> Did you Did you call a tow truck or anything like that? >> A tow truck, but >> Okay. Call them already or cuz you're definitely going to need we're not going to be able to push this out. Like you're sunk down deep. I don't know. Maybe. >> Well, should I call him? >> So, where where are you coming from tonight? >> Oh, no. We're right here in Don's Grove. Um a hotel. >> We're just going to get some snacks. >> What hotel you staying at? >> Um you can have to disreg >> a double tree. >> Yeah. So, like right across the street? >> Yeah, we literally just came here to go get some snacks and then this happened. >> So, what? You turned out from the light and turned in here? >> Okay. So, I was at that light. >> Yeah. >> And then I was trying to turn this way. >> How much have you had to drink tonight? >> I had a few drinks, but not much. >> How How much is a [music] few drinks? >> At least like seven drinks. >> Seven drinks. >> Okay. You know the alphabet? >> Duh. >> Okay. Would you be able to say the alphabet starting at E and then stop at W for me? A B C E D F A B C D E F U W >> You asked me for the alphabet. >> Yeah. I asked you if you could say the alphabet starting at E and then stop at W. >> W. >> A B C D E F U W. >> Do you understand what I'm asking you to do? >> Yeah. >> Would you be able to count down starting at 59 and count down and stop at 37? >> Yeah. 59 58 57 56 55 54 53 52 51 49 5 50 49 48 47 46 45 46 40 45 46 >> 44 43 4 >> The uneven counting and broken alphabet recital said more than any excuse ever could. Disorientation showed clearly on camera. Yet, as reasoning declined, blameshifting kicked into high gear. Because for some people, responsibility always belongs to someone else. >> The tickets. >> So, and you're hitting their car. >> Go ahead and step out here for me. Okay. >> Oh, who you think you are? You can just go slamming on cars. >> Okay. Ma'am, you want to just come step out here for me? >> So, you're coming from the hotel. Okay. Um, you said you had a couple drinks. What I want to do is I want to make sure that you're safe to drive. Okay. >> If anything, I'll call my friend. He's sober. He has a license. >> Okay. Well, either way, either way, we're going to have to call a tow truck to tow your car out cuz your wheel is actually sunk down like into a rut. >> My friend I have a tow truck that um I have a friend that has a tow truck. He's 45 minutes away. >> All right. >> I should just pay him. >> Okay, here's what we're going to do. We're going to walk around right here. Um we're going to walk into the 7-Eleven real quick. I'm going to have you do a couple uh stairfield soiety tests. Okay, just go ahead and follow me cuz I don't want to do them in the roadway here where we could possibly get hit. Okay. No, no, I don't want to be in the roadway where we could possibly get hit. Okay. That's why I'd much rather walk right here into this 7-Eleven. Okay. Go ahead and stay right here on the right of >> Hey, sir. We're just going to use your lobby here for like 5 minutes. I just got to run it through a couple standard food soiety test. It's snowing like crazy out there. If you don't mind, I'll be really quick and then I'll get out of your hair. Okay. Thank you. >> Yeah, I can do that. All right. Here's what I'm going to have you do. I want you to stand right there. I want you just face my direction. Okay. Um, just go ahead and put your feet together and your arms out and your sides. I'm going to run you through a couple things. Okay. First off, do you have any injuries or anything like that? You're not hurt? Do you wear contacts or glasses? >> I'm wearing contacts right now. >> You're wearing contacts right now? Okay. Okay. Any injuries? >> Those are not for like um I'm not blind or those are like for like I want my eyes >> like reading. >> Yeah, cuz I want it to like look like different. >> Okay, I got you. Okay. Here's what I'm going to have you do. Okay. Same thing we kind of did outside. Maybe stare right here at the tip of this pad. I'm going to move from side to side. I want you to follow with your eyes and your eyes only. Don't move your head for me. Okay. Stare right here for me. Okay. start. Don't start until I tell you to do so. Okay? Don't start. >> No, no, no. You're going to hold that position. Just don't start the test until I tell you to start. Does that make sense? >> So, you're just going to hold that starting position till I tell you to start. Okay. Do you understand the test I just explained to you? Okay. Do you remember the starting position? Do you remember the starting position? >> Okay. It's your right foot in front of your left foot touching heel to toe. This one? >> Yep. So, that's your right foot. Okay. Keep your arms down your sides. Whenever you feel ready, you can go at them again. All right. Alcohol fueled confidence often masks declining control. She seemed convinced she was holding it together, but every sentence only added to the evidence. Under the harsh lights of a convenience store parking lot, the illusion of sobriety unraveled step by step. >> We're going to count out loud. 1 1,000 2 1, right? >> One more time. >> Count down. >> No, no, no. Just count up just like Yeah. 1 1 2 100 3 100 >> pointing your toe outward, right? >> And staring down at your toe. 5100 >> staring down at your toe. >> How many? >> Exactly how I explain to do it. >> Huh? >> What happens if I run? >> What happens if you run? Does it get some more charges? >> Are you going to cash him? >> All right, let's find out. >> He looks fast. Don't do it. >> No, he looks slow. >> Wait, no. Actually, no. He don't. Can you guys like just help me? Like >> you didn't do track in high school. >> I'm right here. I just go like I'm right here. I'm like 220. >> Are you guys do page? >> No. >> They have license. >> This is my cousin. She has a license. >> You think can I just go home like >> the hotel? >> A hotel? Yeah. Well, that's my home for now. >> What's up to this other off? No. Here's what we're going to do. All right. This is the last part of the test. Okay. You guys step outside cuz you guys don't speak for her. >> That's fine. >> Were you driving the car? >> But that's my friend. >> Okay. >> Not her pushing the test. Okay. We're going to go and single your lips around the tube. You're going to be a nice deep breath out. It's going to beep. I'm going to tell you when to stop. Okay. Whenever you're ready, go ahead and stick your uh mouth around the tube and go ahead and give me a nice deep breath out. >> You actually have to blow. Okay. The machine is very smart. So, it's going to know if you're not actually blowing or if you're sucking in. Okay? So, you got to give me a nice deep breath out. All right? >> When I'm like, >> you got to go just like that to do it. Okay? It's going to keep beeping. I'm going to tell you to keep going. I'll tell you when to stop. Okay? So, whenever you're ready, go ahead and step forward. So, your lips are on the tube. Give me a nice deep breath out. >> Keep going. More. More. More. More. More. More. More. More. More. More. More. More. More. More. More. More. More. More. More. More. More. Good. What did it say? >> Do you know what the legal limit in the state of Illinois is? It's 08. Okay. This is going to show us what you're 08.08 is the legal limit in the state of Illinois. So, you're at a 0.251. >> Once the breathalyzer results appeared, the debate was over. Numbers don't argue. Objective data replaced personal narrative. That was the moment legal reality stepped in. And any sense of personal privilege shrank in the face of measurable proof. >> I know. That's why I was not trying to leave at the hotel. But if we're here, like I was I was going to ask you something. >> If my cousin has a license, can she drive the car back to >> Here's what's going to happen. We have a tow truck coming to get the car away. >> I understand where the hotel is. Okay. We have a tow truck coming to get the car out. Okay. I'm going to have you take your purse off cuz I don't want you wearing it while we go. I am going to be placing you under arrest for DUI. Okay. >> Yes. Um so go ahead and let's take the purse off. That way uh you don't have it on you. Is there anything illegal in it? >> No. Okay. We'll we'll just let it leave. Okay. So, we'll go ahead and have you put your cameras by your back. We are going to do something else right now. Okay. >> Yeah. Come on. We just have some paperwork to do. We're going to have to go back to the police department. You're not going to do big county jail or anything like that unless you have some crazy criminal history. Okay. We're going to have a little bit of paperwork to do. You can get picked up from the police department. >> Say it again. >> Why do you want to How are you How are you going to call them if you give them your phone? Do you know their phone number? >> Well, then how are you going to call for a ride to get picked up on the police department? Hold on. Stop. Hold on one second. >> Do me a favor. >> Can you move my car in here so I don't have to hold the phone in? Thank you. >> Wait. You should be able to move it. >> Are you Are you fine with me telling them what's going on? >> Yeah. Okay. So, here's what's happening. Okay. She is being placed under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol. There is a tow truck coming to pull the car out cuz the car is stuck. The wheel is sunk down so it cannot be pushed out. >> Tweaking. >> Okay. Regardless, the tow truck has to his car, the one. >> I I understand that. You can't tow it there because she's being arrested for DUI. So, the car has to get towed back to the tow company. Okay. So, what's going to happen is she's going to get taken back to the police department. She has a little bit of paperwork that she's going to have to do. She'll get booked and released tonight. So, she'll be able to call someone. So, someone will have to come pick her up or she can call her. >> One of the two. >> The short guy. You got to call her though. Despite facing serious charges, her main concern was a $250 hotel bill. Meanwhile, the decision to drive intoxicated in a snowstorm was the real catalyst behind everything that followed. That misplaced priority spoke volumes about how she views accountability. >> Don't pull out of the cuffs again cuz I'm going to put them on to the point where it hurts so that you can't pull out of them and I don't want to do that. So, please don't try pulling out of the cuffs. Cara, she's on the passenger driver's side. Craig, >> can they come with me? >> No, they can't come with you. You have anything illegal on you? >> No. >> Nothing's going to poke or stab me or anything like that? >> No. Okay. >> I will zip this back up. I just want to make sure there's nothing in here illegal >> cuz you're still >> I'm illegal. I'm from Mexico. >> Okay, that doesn't matter. >> Is there any way for this to come off? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Like like unbuckling it to come off. But that's has a button. >> Where's the button at? >> Call your friend, man. When you out, you going to be out in 4 hours again. >> Hey, come back. Come with me. I'm illegal. >> Okay. Once again, that doesn't matter. >> Are you telling me? >> No. >> I got nothing in your pocket. >> I'm going to hold on to your phone. Go ahead and have a seat for me. >> Go nice and slow. Don't go in. >> I don't want to get in >> now. We don't have a choice. Nice and slow. All right, back up. >> No, no, no. >> You can record, but you can't get that close. Not too much. >> The we do pull her out. What the can we do? >> I'm going to go ahead and reach around you to grab the seat belt. If you go ahead and lean back for me. >> How do you feel that way? >> I quit for a hotel for me to get arrested. I paid $250. >> Bro, get me out right now. Man, don't steal this [ __ ] some GTA [ __ ] In the end, she was taken to jail and charged with DUI, registering a 0.251 blood alcohol concentration, a level high enough to turn a vehicle into a potentially lethal weapon. No status, no background, and no good girl image can shield anyone from numbers that speak for themselves. Just as the regret began to settle, another unexpected twist ignited fresh trouble. [music] On August 24th, 2024, Home Depot parking lot, Calhoun, police responded to reports of a fight between two couples. Conflicting statements blurred the line between right and wrong. We can't call the police. All we can do is ask them to leave." I was outside with my mom. They drove by and recognized my mom's car. He stopped the car. She got out and tried to fight me in front of my three-year-old daughter. My mom had to get in between it and end it. >> In Karen's world, justice isn't grounded in law. It's grounded in who tells the louder story. As tensions rose, the suspect deliberately shoved her boyfriend's head toward the opposing party, creating physical contact. That single act shifted the conflict from argument to assault. >> He got into it trying to break it up. He wouldn't him over there wouldn't let wouldn't let him break up the fight. So then they started fighting and then we I didn't even see them coming. Apparently they're deputies. She tried to break it up. The girl started attacking her, too. She's a convicted felon who's been out who's been back to jail over and over again for false imprisonment, finding people, and everything else. I've never been to jail a day in my life. I'm a nursing student. I'm a mom. I don't do this. But she attacked me when I'm trying to reason with them. We have two all together. We have two children, two children involved. We should be able to meet up and talk it out and be adults, but they can't be adults. They want to get physical and attack people. And it's pathetic. And that's how this happened today. >> Tried to dissolve the situation. Nobody touched them. Take a gun out. >> He He claims to have a gun over there. I don't know if he does. We didn't see it. >> We didn't see a gun. He claims to have one. We never saw it. I have no idea if he has one. That white That girl, that white girl and the other guy, they said they're deputies. >> Where are the deputies at? Did it say? >> No, they didn't say. They said they're deputies. There was three of them. They're deputies. The one in the army green shirt and the woman in the tank top are apparently deputies. >> I'm angry. He's her baby daddy. He is my baby daddy and he's taking care of somebody else kid and won't even help me raise my own. No sir. >> Both sides fought for the role of victim. Repeated phrases weren't about clarity. They were about triggering sympathy. When alcohol mixes with wounded pride, the narrative stops revolving around facts and starts revolving around persuasion. >> How much have you had a drink today? >> Um, two beers. >> You got to have more than that. >> No, you can blow me. >> Are you deputy or something? >> Yes. >> You have your ID with you? >> Do you have your deputy ID? >> Oh, uh, what county do you work for? >> Um, Jordan County. >> Jordan County. He tried to break it up when he tried to break the fight up between me and her after she attacked me. Then he started attacking him because he was trying to stop the fight and deescalate the situation. >> Where where did she put hands on you at? >> Everywhere. I just got hit in my She tried to rip my hair out. I don't know what my face looks like, but she just tried to rip my hair from my scalp. >> Are you hurting anywhere? >> The illusion of control collapsed the moment legal reality stepped in. An offduty officer was assaulted and every boundary dissolved. When alcohol inflates the ego, people push themselves into confrontation and then face consequences that can't simply be undone. >> Bring my daughter into this [ __ ] playing these [ __ ] ass game by [ __ ] >> Oh yeah, 1081. >> There's cameras here. I was the only one that really came over here and put my hands on anybody trying to stop anybody, but they were to the side like, "Hey, y'all need to quit." I guess he had it just in case. >> I got you. >> I came at him or something. He didn't know they were talking. >> Okay. Yeah, cuz they told us someone had a gun in their hand. That's why we came out here. >> He didn't point corner nobody. >> Okay, I got you. >> All four of them were were at it. But she did get hands put on her after she >> The lady right there. Who hit her? >> She said she's 50 for sure. >> She hit her. >> Well, let me just go ahead and 95 all of them. Get her for instruction on police offic. >> Then she jumps out of the passenger seat with another girl who I don't know where that girl went to. She got a dog in her hand. They hop out of the car. She She gets mad and comes over there and shoves the guy she's with head into my face and then attacks me cuz we were supposed to talk it out. They were made to leave over there. Motel 6 told them they could not come back. >> So we had to come over here and talk to them because they were told they had to leave and they claimed >> talking to them in Motel 6 about the >> Yeah. Police officer charge what they did on this. Main thing is get them charged for you. >> Charges are sure. >> Are you Chad? >> No, I'm not. They're going to go for an afraid look on their hand. >> Officers separated everyone to prevent overlapping accounts. An offduty police chief had witnessed the altercation firsthand. Once statements aligned with direct observation, the decision to arrest all four became almost unavoidable. Sir, >> go ahead and put your hands on the back. You're going to jail for a prey. Okay. Huh? You're going to jail for a prey. Okay. For who? For a prey. >> Am I not allowed to defend myself? >> You met her up in public. >> We were supposed to have a conversation. That's not what this was about. >> Listen to me. You could have easily got in your car and left. >> As soon as I got up to try to deescalate the situation, I was attacked. >> Okay. If you're not going to let me talk, I'm not going to explain. >> It's okay. Just let me get you. >> No, this is not okay. I started nursing school on Monday. >> Go to jail now. She's hard. >> And I tried to be the bigger person for two kids. I promise. >> We didn't even think that was going to happen. They all jump. >> No, I literally tried to deescalate the situation. >> You got anything to show? No. >> Nobody's We're being arrested. When they pulled up on us and you can search my phone, I never gave no location. >> Yeah. When Ego speaks louder than reason, the parking lot becomes a courtroom, and the verdict comes fast. On April 8th, 2024, cops got a call from a liquor store about a woman completely losing it. So, I guess she starts getting mad when they're trying to leave. And so, then she comes back in from outside. She starts throwing a few bottles around. I'm like, I'm telling her to stop. I'm trying to get her to stop. And then she wasn't stopping. >> Somebody to come pick you up. >> Call somebody to come pick you up. >> What? Please. >> I've got to do my job. >> Please. >> Even with the tension running high, the deputy stayed calm and professional. He reassured the boy's father, who of course was furious that his son had been assaulted. That small act showed he understood the emotions in play, even as he collected the victim's statement. >> Please tell me what's going on, bud. >> I was trying to I was putting flowers all up houses. >> Thank you. >> I went over there to that house and I was about to put a flower up. So, guess who gets the unless you're going to at least transport. >> That's fine. >> Oh my god, I can't breathe. >> Is the jail going to make me sit at a hospital? >> No, she's not that drunk. She's walking, talking. >> Okay, >> sir, are you all right? >> Hey, can I call 911? Your name's Tina. >> Yes. >> Okay, Tina, we're going to go to my car. On September 7th, 2024, in Cocoa Beach, [music] Florida, police received a flood of 911 calls about a fight breaking out at a costume party. When officers arrived, chaos was everywhere. A drunken woman was screaming and lashing out at people around her, pushing the night completely out of control. >> Huh? >> Marsha. >> Marshall. >> Okay, I guess you just maybe a little too little too drunk. Okay, just hold on to yourself. I got to write your name down. How do you spell your name? >> Marsha. I R S A >> M A R S H A >> S H A. >> Okay. >> All right. Just like I said, hold on to the wall if you need to. >> I'm ridiculous. >> No, you're fine. Look at how much I'm sweating. You're fine. >> I'm in A MASK. I DON'T DARE TAKE IT OFF though because my makeup is so bad. >> I got you. Crazy person like this. >> You're fine. But what's your middle name? >> What's your last name? >> Time we had our beverages to grab a seat. All the open tables were effectively full except for the one table where this person was sitting. >> Okay. Um, she was flanked by two other women. I approached and said, "Excuse me, are there two seats available here and she went completely aggressive on me?" >> So, February 1875. >> Oh, okay. >> Um, started screaming and cursing at me, saying, "Thising table is reserved for us." Or whatever her exact words were. Um, and I said, "Well, you know, it's not actually a reserved table, but understood." And she kept going at me and I said, "You need to you need to calm down." >> We're in the line to get dinner. And I asked the table where she was sitting at. I asked a gentleman there if he had if the two seats next to him were available. [snorts] >> And he said, "No, they weren't." And I backed back up into the food line with my friend. and she got up and she got in my face about this close and started screaming at me that the table, you know, the chairs were not available. And I said, "Okay." And I kind of backed up a little bit cuz I didn't want to, you know, >> from the first contact, her intoxication was obvious. Unsteady on her feet, slurred speech, scattered answers. Her aggression wasn't calculated. It was impulsive, driven by raw emotion. Even a simple question about seating set her off. Her anger magnified by alcohol. >> Entice her to get angrier. Um, where are you from? >> Here. Where? >> Florida? >> No. >> From where? What? What state? >> Okay. What state? >> Seriously? >> She kept it up and kept it up and then she whacked me and then my friend stepped in and and and then she hit her and then she and my wine spilled a little bit. The first time she hit me and then she hit me two more times. The third time my wine went all over the other gentleman. >> Okay. I'm just trying to figure out You're Marsha. Okay, just like I said, just relax. You're Marca Foster from where? >> Florida. >> Florida. Okay. >> And then that lady came up and got in my friend's face saying, "These effing seats are taken. You're not getting our effing seats." And my friend tried to back up. And then um she started pushing her. So I said, "Hey, stop." >> Are you with family? No. >> Uh, friends? >> Yeah. >> Are you by yourself? >> Yes. >> Okay. So, you're just here by yourself? >> Yes. >> Okay. All right. >> End up chatting with another woman who had the exact same experience with her at a different table because this person >> Okay. >> The aggressor had sat down and got verbally into it with other people at a table. And I don't know if she got physical with that woman or not, but that was around probably 6:30, 6:45. >> You're cute. 21. >> I like this. This is like >> 1065 IP by name and date of birth out of Florida. >> She was doing this to me and pushing me like that. Oh, sorry. Sorry. [laughter] >> I watch cops. They say not to. >> Yeah, you're all right. You're all right. >> My boyfriend. >> You know her? >> Okay. >> That's my boyfriend. >> Okay. >> That's my wife. >> Okay. have not. >> With her inhibition stripped away, her emotions boiled over. Insecurity or drunken delusions of power may have fueled it, but the result was the same. Every polite word sounded like a threat, and her answer was violence. >> 1875. So, wait. >> 19. >> That's fine. Just sit here. All right. So, just just take a seat. >> Yeah. Just just lean right there. >> Okay. I understand. after. >> Fast forward food line. Uh my husband's in line for food. I joined him in line. I as I joined the altercation with the other two victims was going down and I said, "Is she being aggressive to you?" Cuz she did this to me earlier. And they said yes. And while I was having that conversation with one of them, she started physically assaulting the other woman. >> No. Her name is Mara. >> Mara. >> Okay. Marsha Foster. >> Does she have a middle name? I don't know. You don't know? Okay. Do you know her birthday by chance? >> Oh, no. February um she's turning 50. >> The cops are taking me away. >> Yeah, cuz you're acting poorly. >> Okay. Do you know if it's on the 18th? >> I'm sorry. >> Her birthday's on the 18th. >> It might be. Okay. >> Yeah. We're just trying to figure out who she is, but she's not coming back. >> That was what I was trying to avoid cuz I didn't want to be, you know, punched or, you know, hurt, >> you know. It was just pushing and wine everywhere and Okay. You know. >> Okay. Hey, do you where's your ID at? >> Okay. >> Why' you do that? >> All right. Point. Did she strike you? She did push you. Okay. All right. When is that once, twice, several times? >> Um I think I got just pushed once. My girlfriend got pushed a couple times and the other lady got struck in the face with this. >> Right. Okay. Is she is she out of Florida or is she have another state? >> With me right now. >> Okay. But I'm saying like does she have a license out of the other state? >> No, I can go upstairs and get her license for you. >> But it's out of Florida. >> No, it's Florida. >> It's Florida. Okay. All right. I didn't know if she had out of state. >> You want me to get it? >> Um I mean if you're able to. >> Yeah, I'm able to. >> Um yeah, I guess if you can just so we can get our at least identified. So I appreciate that. >> All right. Thank you, sir. and then uh went after her I think three times and then wine spilled went all over the back of my husband's jacket went all over my bag went off both the other victims got completely >> witness statements became critical each one confirming the same story multiple independent accounts painted her behavior as a consistent pattern of aggression that was enough to give officers clear grounds for arrest >> all right just real quick I need you to come with me okay all right I'm going to I'm going to All right All right, just really quick. >> I'm going to just take you. Okay, then you'll be okay. You'll be all right. All right, you're just a little too drunk. Okay, >> when we first walked in and they were doing the national anthem, she was already intoxicated. Where did she hit you? >> Uh, where did she hit me? She didn't get me in the face. >> Where did she hit me? >> I think she got me in the chest. >> Okay. >> Um, I'm not pressing charges because I understand how completely drunk she is. We're also new to the area. >> Just going to not press charges at the moment. >> Okay. Um I you know um I don't really want to ruin somebody's life because she's drunk, >> but she did hit me and officer the other gentleman >> Cooper. >> Yes. >> One victim didn't want to press charges. Acknowledging her drunken state, but demanded compensation for ruined clothing and a damaged handbag. Still declining to prosecute didn't erase the crime itself. Police had both the right and the duty to arrest to preserve order and prevent repeat violence. I know this is a restitution thing and not a pressing charges thing, but we would like her to compensate for the ruined items. That suit is not going to get >> right. And as officer Cooper or actually Major Cooper >> Major sorry >> instructed I said I said it too. Um as he said, that'll be something the court deals with. Okay. Right. >> Um can I get a phone number for you and then I'll have you just sit down inside. All right. Sorry. Just make sure. Watch your loose. Okay. >> Watch your head, sweetie. When you sit, >> just try to Yeah. Just take a seat back. Okay. Ma'am, just take a seat back. Right there. All right. And then put your legs right up in there. Okay. >> All right. Perfect. Thank you. As I enter, I see a commotion to my right and I see her punch two of the ladies and try to swing at a third. >> Okay. All right. She's highly intoxicated. She could barely stand. She tried to grab and put arms around me several times. >> Um [music] >> definitely we have disorderly in talks. Correct. All right. And then depending on what they want, I know one wants to and the other two are kind of iffy, but >> depending on what they say, I say [ __ ] either way. I I saw her physically. >> She physically saw at least two cows. So, >> yeah. >> All right. So, sly took two cows. >> Yeah. >> All right. That sounds good. >> But we have we have enough. She's highly intoxicated. We're probably going to have to get her >> sobered up at the hospital. I know. >> Are you going to strip club? >> The strip club? >> Um, yeah. In the end, she was booked for disorderly conduct while intoxicated and assault. Penalties could include fines, restitution for the victims, or jail time, depending on how the court weighs the severity of her actions. On February 13th, 2025 in Ohio, police got a 911 call about a drunk woman causing chaos in the street. Abandoned by two men and suspected of having been assaulted, she quickly became the center of a stormy and unpredictable scene. Officers tried to calm her down, hoping to piece together the truth. But her shouting, defiance, and refusal to cooperate turned every [music] attempt into a dead end, blocking the investigation. >> I don't give a about none of that [ __ ] >> Are you going to get your information? >> I'm not giving a [ __ ] >> Put your hands on your back. Turn it. >> Yeah. And appreciate it. And I'm appreciate all you said. I'm your home mother security. >> With all deescalation failing, the decision to arrest was made. She kept pushing boundaries, provoking, insulting, refusing commands. At one point, she even claimed to be a sergeant, either as a ploy to dodge arrest or simply the ramblings of someone completely out of control. >> Did somebody run you over tonight? >> Are you? >> Did somebody beat you up tonight? >> Are you? >> Did anybody assault you tonight? >> Are you? >> Are you injured? >> Are you? Oh, mother security. Security. [crying] Hey. Hey. Go ahead and keep going along, [ __ ] Inside the patrol car, her instability grew even more obvious. Feelings of helplessness and paranoia kicked in, fueled by alcohol that warped her sense of reality. She spun stories about being the victim, jumping wildly from shoes to identity. Proof of a fractured, disordered mind. >> I will ever ak officer. I wish you my officer. We in the same line. We in the same line, but at the end of the day, hey, you see what it is. But you ain't [ __ ] You ain't [ __ ] >> Hey lady. >> Her emotions shifted with no logic, swinging from anger to despair and jagged bursts. Intoxication had weakened her brain's ability to regulate anything. In her paranoia, everyone looked like a threat. And when her defiance cracked, only helplessness and raw desperation remained. [panting] >> Are you okay? >> No. >> Oh, you're finally talking to us in a normal level. That's an improvement. [snorts] >> Hey, lady. [laughter] >> Hey, lady. In the end, she was taken to jail and charged with disorderly conduct and refusal to identify. Those charges usually mean fines or short jail time, depending on state law. On April 25th, 2025 in Ohio, police were called after a woman accused a man at a liquor store of selling alcohol to minors. An arrest was demanded on the spot, but when officers showed up, the whole thing took an unexpected turn. >> You guys here would not leave me alone. She said about telling the miners, which I'm not. She don't have an ID on it, so >> you want to leave the property? >> Hi. >> Hi. Are you the police officer that I got called? Okay. >> Sure am. >> Okay. I see him selling to a minor. Give them a tip. >> You're supposed to call State Liquor. You're the cops. >> I don't even know what that is. >> He flipped me for what? I didn't do anything. >> Ma'am, do you want to leave the property or do you want to go to jail? >> For what? >> Because we're telling you you need to leave. So now you're criminally trespassing. >> Why am I I came to buy something? >> Okay. And they want you to leave, which is their right. They can refuse service to you. >> No, but he did something wrong. What did I do? I called you. >> They want you to leave. >> I called you. >> Ma'am, are you going to leave? >> I called you to help me. And he's trying He tried to hit me. >> Ma'am, are you going? >> He tried to hit me. And you're not doing anything about it. >> The woman clearly saw herself as the victim, expecting [music] the cops to back her up. But once the store owner identified her as the troublemaker and told her to leave, she dug in her heels. That stubborn refusal became the spark that set her legal troubles in motion. >> Have to send you to jail. >> Huh? >> I didn't do anything wrong. >> Are you trying to get by? >> Yes, they are. >> Are you going to weave? >> I don't have to. I came here to buy something. >> Okay. He's not He's not selling anything. >> Ma'am, last chance. Cuz >> you're not going to the car. You're not >> I'm not complaining CUZ I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING. I WAS AT THE STORE and he sold to a minor. >> When warned she'd be arrested for criminal trespass, she couldn't accept it. The lack of logic was striking. Either she didn't understand the consequences or she flat out ignored them. Her physical resistance showed the desperation and anger of someone losing control. >> You want to go in there? >> Oh man. >> Oh, Kayla, you're fine. I am. Yes, Tate. It's going to hurt a little bit. >> She's talking to herself. Let's just put her in. >> What am I doing? >> I'M NOT DOING NOTHING WRONG. I CAME TO SHOP AT THE STORE. >> OKAY, LISTEN. >> LISTEN. Inside the squad car, she kept shouting, cursing, even talking to herself. She accused the officers of racism, grasping at anything to justify her behavior. It was chaos. An unraveling mind on full display. >> Ah, it's okay. That's even better cuz then we did. Oh, [screaming] you're dumb as [ __ ] Oh, we do make up our purpose. I understand. >> Her non-stop rambling suggested deeper issues, possibly mental health struggles. Officers even mentioned the possibility of sending her to a specialty court. A sign they saw her behavior as more than simple defiance. >> I don't have to go to sleep. No, you really know the hospital. Yeah, I was in and out at the hospital. Yeah, but the other day I was up and you were ah and I was faking sleep. You were? And you took me out? Yes, I did. I can't do it. Exactly. Stop not believing yourself cuz you're scared too hard. You I really am. Cuz you think they're going to hit me? I do. Oh, they really are. Yes. Cuz I didn't do any and they're not looking normal. They don't know who I am. Exact. And they're like, "Who is this innocent?" And she has no wreck. Oh, you good that? Yes, I am. I bring them food. [snorts] And they can look up that you Door Dash cuz that's an actual job. It is. Yes. She That's why she was trying to file taxes and it was not enough. Oh, so they told her, "Don't do it." But actually, I think it was. That's why that your taxes were so low. She knows I did do that. You [ __ ] They are. They want me to run. Yes. He's running out his gun. No, he's not. He's putting it away cuz he has to. Cuz if you bring out the gun and you shoot an innocent black girl that did nothing, you guys are Oh, man. You'reing up. We're trying to fix it. They're so confused. Oh, man. Why don't you just kill him? We can't kill them. Please. But we can't. You have to. You got to make them shoot themselves. We can do that. And you're still having fun. And you're not with an innocent. >> You advised to leave several times. You refused to leave the >> I didn't leave cuz you guys are the ones that told me to wait cuz I called you. >> So it's all for court. >> It's all for court. >> Yep. Court right here. >> I'm not trying to. I'm just letting you know what happened. >> Yeah, I was there. It was all >> Yeah, it was, wasn't it? In the end, she was booked on charges of criminal trespass [music] and obstructing official business. Because she resisted arrest and refused to comply after being ordered to leave, the penalties could include fines, jail time, or both, depending on how serious the court views the case. On April 19th, 2025, police got a call from an elderly woman who said her neighbor had kicked in her door and [music] threatened her. But this wasn't some petty squabble. This was part of a long pattern of harassment that had spiraled out of control. >> Ashley, are you were you over here waiting? >> Were you over here? Were you messing with >> Are you sure? >> Hello. >> You weren't knocking on the door. >> Can I come in? >> Yes. >> What was going on? >> Okay. >> I don't know. I came home from here >> and she was jerking on my door knocked trying to as I come down the hall. She started yelling screaming at me and she said, "Yeah, it was me carded up your door." >> Did you happen to get this on video or anything? >> No, I didn't. >> Okay. >> There was a camera down at the end of the hall, but I don't know if it actually caught her. >> This has been an ongoing thing. I have a protective order. We're supposed to go for a hearing on the >> 20th. >> So, I don't >> But was she saying any threat making threats to you or anything? >> Yes, she's been making >> What was she saying? >> She calls my name. She say she's going to cut me up. >> What? What did she say today? >> Today she said she'd be calling me home and she threatened to throw my blood all over her. What was that? >> She threatened to throw the water. >> You got some pretty teeth. >> Thank you. >> You're welcome. >> This is for a protection order. >> For what? >> A protection order. >> A protection order for what? >> That's That's what >> I don't know. So, when do I go? >> There's not a date on here. They They were here 2 days ago, but they didn't get in contact with you, it sounds like. >> Yeah, they left it on my door. >> Just this hanging on there. >> Yeah. >> Okay. The victim's calm voice and detailed account [music] gave police solid evidence to work with. A protective order was already on file, showing the suspect's behavior wasn't random. It was repeated and deliberate. Meanwhile, the suspect acted as if she had no clue what kind of trouble she was really in. >> Admitted that you >> that she did this to your door. >> Did she tell you what she did it with? >> No. >> But no, I'm >> Do you just want me to shut my door? >> No. I what would be ideal actually is if you didn't live here anymore because we've I've talked to you myself several times and told you to quit harassing everybody and you don't stop harassing everybody ever. >> Okay. >> You've been served with a protection order, anything like that, which I'm guessing that's what this is. >> So, I'm uh trying to see if we have enough probable cause for charges and whatever cuz like right now we have no physical evidence. Okay. Um >> I I don't know how much more physical evidence she's ruined. >> I know, but like we don't have camera footage or anything like that. Okay. >> Of her actually doing it. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> So that that that's the hard part. Um I'm going to see what we can do. Let's try to get her story. see if she openly admits to it >> or because on the violation of the protection order it says like she can't harass or whatever. Okay. Do you have a car or anything? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, if we do go to the right, we'll charge it. Are you able to come down to the station >> and sign? >> I will. >> Okay. Okay. >> Just leave me alone. >> Okay. Just hang tight. With no direct evidence on hand, officers had to rely on the suspect's own words. But instead of answering, she fired back with nonsense questions, stalling, dodging, anything to avoid the truth. Her refusal to cooperate only deepened the suspicion. >> Yeah, I was about to say I don't have no bench boards. >> Hey, Ash. I'm going >> Did I say that? >> I don't know. >> The sheriff's left on her door. >> Okay. >> And she said she so that's what I'm saying right now. >> So when do I have to get out? >> What? >> Of here. >> We can't make you leave. I like I said, I prefer that you would move out of here. That would be fantastic. So, we can stop having to deal with you, but we can't make you leave. So, but we'll find out with protection order how that's going to go and what happened today and stuff like that. So, okay. >> Okay. >> But give us a second. You want to step back here and talk real quick? We'll be right back. Keep the door lock. I'm come back in and talk to you. Okay. Thanks, Ashley. Ashley, question. Why Why did you do that? >> I didn't speak for >> I didn't even say that. I didn't say that at all. What happened to her door then? >> I don't know. >> Well, why do why do you keep going and knocking on her door? And cuz the other day I I saw I had video of it the other day. The other day when you were knocking on her door. It's like 3:00 in the morning. You're telling her you're going to >> I was trying to get her phone. >> No. Well, no. You said you were going to drag her down the hallway by her hair and you were going to kill her dog and Yep. I saw the video of it. You definitely said that the other day. >> Well, anyway, I'm trying to get out of here. >> Well, we have to figure out what's going on here first before we get out here. I'm waiting to see if if you did in fact get the protection order and to see if you have any warrants. Okay. I'm just waiting for them to come back for that. >> What's the protection order? >> Uh it is going to be your neighbor here. Uh >> so this is for her, >> mis. No, that's for you. You're going to be served a protection order. You're not allowed to be around her. You're allowed to call her, stalk her, talk her, uh menace her, anything like that. I'm not going to do anything with her. Okay. >> The endless denial and circular talk were red flags. Even when officers showed her video evidence, she stood firm in her lies. It was a clear picture of someone refusing to face reality or accept legal consequences. But you can't you can't be one. That's the apartment complex's doors. You can't you can't be scratching on the door. Okay. >> Okay. >> What I mean, what did you just You were angry at the time and used a knife or what? No, I didn't use no knife. >> Oh, what'd you use? >> Uh, nothing. >> Hello. >> Your nail. >> Stop calling me. I'mma get your [ __ ] >> What? >> What you been up to? >> What have I been up to? >> Yeah. >> Nothing. >> Causing problems around here. >> Trying to get out of here. >> I don't have no warrants. >> Oh, >> go ahead. All right. Come over here real quick. >> Drop your keys. >> You're done. >> So, this is for This warrant is for the menacing. The other night when I said I have you on video where you're outside her door trying to go into her apartment and all that. Okay. >> And then she's gonna have a protection order against you, which uh we're gonna get that confirmed because I don't think you've been served yet because you got your door hanger. No, I don't think you can serve with that. >> You don't have anything. >> Do you have Do you have some shoes you could slip on or anything, Ashley? >> Yeah, >> cuz it's wet out there. >> Where's your slides? >> That's the best. >> Is your apartment key on here? >> Yeah. >> All right, we'll lock it up. I'm still on leave. Just a few days. >> Ashley, you really need to leave these neighbors alone because we get calls from every single person here down on that end. The neighbors down below you that you go down there and start messing with them. You know, everybody here wants you out of this building because of the way that you act. >> They shouldn't have to live like that. >> Oh, exactly. Just >> come out, sir. >> How are you? >> How are you doing? You know the police? >> Yeah. You have to make sure you're safe here. >> Once the cuffs went on, panic set in. She looked lost, almost clueless about what was happening. For someone used to stirring up trouble without consequences, the arrest hit like a cold slap of reality. Her reaction as police escorted her [music] out exposed her lack of control. Do >> you don't have a case worker or nothing like that, though? >> No, I don't. >> First floor. Welcome. >> I mean, it's just a arrest. Are you going to do Do you want me to do the arrest ticket or >> I can do it? >> Well, do you do you want me to do a 12 for I'll do 12 for criminal damaging? >> Uh, I do. >> What's your name? What's your name? >> I said what's your name? >> I am Officer Richmond >> then. Um, are you still here? >> Yes. >> Okay. I'm going to >> You have a cell phone, don't you? >> Yeah. >> Okay. I'm going to send you a link to evidence.com and just take pictures of the door and upload them. Okay. Miss Ashley, >> did you speak to your neighbor today at all? >> No. >> And you didn't damage your door. >> No. You want me to go over here and I'm going to switch these out? Let's go under the under so we don't get rained on. This is cool. Ashley, just try to stay away from your neighbors, all right? >> Stop messing with them. >> We'll get the bottom set off. >> Besides your keys, do you have any other property, young lady? No, >> just her keys. Watch your step. We're heading. I'm going to reach over. I got to put the seat belt on. >> In the end, she was booked on charges of criminal mischief and making threats. Penalties could range from jail time to hefty fines and restitution for the victim. The severity would depend on local law, the damages involved, and the fact that she violated a protective order already in place. On April 29th, 2025, down in Florida, cops spotted a white Kia flying down the road, swerving, cutting people off, a total mess. At first, it looked like just another reckless driver to pull over. But when they closed in, things took a twist no one saw coming. 514 >> roll down all your windows. >> What? >> You were driving all crazy all the way down. W >> No, I was not driving crazy. You used my signals, didn't you? >> Yeah. And you cut off the big old truck. YOU WERE GOING LIKE >> CUT off of him. License, registration, please for careless driving. >> THAT'S NOT NO, YOU I'M PARKED. YOU CANNOT PULL ME OVER. LICENSE and registration prevention. Give me your license, registration. You going to get out and you going to go to jail. >> NO, I'M NOT. YOU CAN'T YOU GOT TO PULL ME UP OUT OF HERE. >> ALL RIGHT. >> YOU GIVE YOU MY LICENSE RIGHT OFF. >> I WOULD HAVE GREATLY appreciate it cuz you can talk yourself into going to jail right now. >> What? What's your problem? >> You should have BACK YOUR LIFE BACK THEN. >> I COULDN'T CATCH UP. >> THAT'S NOT THE LAW. >> ALL RIGHT. WELL, I appreciate your passion for the law, but you are ill advised. >> No, YOU ARE ILL ADVISED CUZ YOU'RE USING YOUR POWER. >> ALL RIGHT. LICENSE AND REGISTRATION. GOOD. >> YEAH, she was getting it. She was going She smashed off south on I think it was T Street and then she turns right, comes out to W. I catch up and she was fixing to turn right. She had ran that stop sign already and then uh after she ran that sign sign, she decided she wasn't going to turn right anymore. She whipped it left, cut a car off, and then she smashed it again. She's going like 65. I'm just keeping her in sight. And then she cuts off this giant truck and whips down Pleasant. >> What's the deal? She got a bad license or something? >> I don't know. I'm running it. I I don't know what the deal is. >> Pulling straight into her driveway wasn't some innocent move. It was a desperate attempt to dodge the stop. When she flat out refused to hand over her paperwork, suspicion shot through the roof. Her biggest mistake, believing that standing on private property somehow made her untouchable. >> It's just a normal tag. Go ahead. Get out of the way. Get Larry. >> HEY, STOP PULLING ON MY DOOR. STEP OUT OF THE CAR. >> NO, I'M NOT GETTING OUT. YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO SEARCH my car. >> I'M NOT GIVING YOU THE right none of that. No, >> you have to step out. >> No, I'm not. I'M NOT STEPPING OUT. NOT AT ALL. NO, I'M NOT. >> If you don't, you will be going to jail. >> No. No. >> Step out of the car. You're going to go to jail. >> The reason why I GOT TO GET OUT. >> 3:45. >> Get out the car. >> If you don't come, I'm busting this window. YOU COMING OUT THE BUS OUT MY WINDOW? >> YES, I will. >> No. No, you're not. >> Get out of the car. Get out of the car. >> For what? >> Get out of the car. >> For what? >> Get out of the car. >> WHAT IS YOUR PROBABLE CAUSE? >> GET OUT OF THE CAR. >> WHAT IS YOUR PROBABLE CAUSE? >> WHAT IS YOUR PROBABLE CAUSE FOR BUSTING OUT? >> GET OUT OF THE CAR. >> GET OUT OF THE CAR. Come out. Get out. I'M NOT >> NO, CUZ Y'ALL Y'ALL IS NOT YOU WAS YOU WAS INVADING MY RIGHTS. I KNOW MY RIGHTS. NO, YOU CANNOT. YOU CANNOT. CHILL OUT. >> Step out. >> Chill out. Hey, don't grind me crazy, though. B. I'm a minor. I'm a minor. I like my mama. >> Got weed all IN THE CAR. >> YOU GOING to jail. That's too late for that. >> You for what? I DIDN'T EVEN RESIST Y'ALL. >> YES, YOU DID. >> NO, I DID NOT. >> SHUT YOUR MOUTH. >> I DIDN'T EVEN RESIST Y'ALL. THAT'S CRAZY. >> AND THAT'S UP. >> HOW YOU GOING TO TURN THE LIGHTS ON? HOW YOU GOING TO TURN THE LIGHTS? Y'ALL TURN THE LIGHTS ON when was ALREADY IN THE YARD. >> GET IN THE CORNER RIGHT NOW. >> THEY IS ABUSING Y'ALL POWER, BRO. LIKE, OH JEEZ. >> AND YOU SITTING HERE SLANGING ME AND STUFF. >> GET YOUR TAIL IN THE CAR. >> CAN I GET MY OTHER SHOE? >> GET IN THE CAR. >> CAN I GET MY SHOE? >> GET IN THE CAR. >> SON, WHY ARE YOU HANDLING ME LIKE THIS? >> I CANNOT. YOU SEE THIS SEAT BELT LIKE THIS? >> WHY ARE YOU HANDLING ME THIS LIKE THIS? >> GET IN THE CAR. >> IN THE CAR. >> I AM. HE IS PUSHING ME. YOU DON'T HAVE TO PUSH ME. >> GET IN THE CAR. >> I AM A FEMALE. >> GET IN THE CAR. Get in the car. Shut them up. GET IN THE CAR. >> THAT IS CRAZY. CAN I GET MY OTHER SHOE? >> We'll get it to you to GET IN THE CAR. >> IN A TRAFFIC stop like this, officers are fully within their rights to use necessary force to get someone out of a car. And when she admitted there was weed inside, that sealed the deal. Probable cause handed them the green light for a full search and arrest. >> Let me explain something to you, okay? If you act like that and start kicking and bumping around or listen to me. Listen to me. I'm trying to be nice to you. Okay, >> sir. I'm being nice. I was not kicking and bumping, sir. I'm trying to see why y'all handling me like this. >> Because you don't follow instructions, >> sir. I had no He had no reason TO PULL ME OVER. IF THIS MAN >> ALL YOU'RE DOING IS THIS. YOU'RE not listening. If you will just listen, >> then everything will go very smoothly. But you're not listening. >> Okay, I'm listening, sir. >> Okay. You have to follow instructions. Okay. We have a job to do and once we get that done, everything will be okay. But you come out here and interfere and keep yapping and yapping, all it is is stirring everything up and making it worse for everybody. >> I'm just trying to avoid getting arrested. >> Okay. And we don't want to arrest you. But when you act like a fool, that's is what happens. >> I didn't act like a fool, sir. >> You have acted like a fool since I pulled up. >> No, I DIDN'T. ALL THIS ALL THIS RIGHT HERE. >> YES, SIR. Cuz I'm trying TO FIGURE OUT WHY YOUR DEPUTY PULLED ME OVER. You're not giving me a valid reason. You're not can't understand when you're talking. >> You have to listen. >> You ain't got nothing on you, do you? >> No, bro. >> All right, sit in the car for a second. >> Damn. My bad. You know I'm big, bro. You good trying to lift me up in this [ __ ] >> You good? >> Damn. I'M SAYING COME ON THOUGH. [laughter] COME TALK TO ME RIGHT QUICK, PLEASE. >> So I'm saying though. >> So this is what this IS THE THING. >> I KNOW. I KNOW. I KNOW. >> HOLD ON. SO THIS IS why that window is going to get busted. Roll down the window. We smell marijuana. >> I got you. >> There's a lot of marijuana in the car. She wrote the window said she not coming in coming out the car. So she's going to jail for that for obstruction and that weed possession. >> But you got to think about it, bro. It's how HE CAME UP TALKING CRAZY. >> I don't know. I got here and the car refuses to stop, man. You know, hey, I just got here. I don't know. I'll let you speak to my sergeant right there if you need to talk to him. But I'm going to jail. >> You're being detained right now. >> All right. Well, can you call my mom or something? >> No, [snorts] no, no, no. Give me a second. We'll find out. Like I said, we'll find out what's going on. >> All right. Well, then can you loosen up these cuffs or something, bro? Well, hell, >> I need something. Like, damn, I'm in cuffs and I ain't did nothing. Like, what's going on? >> Well, you hostile y'all and screaming and stuff. >> Yeah, it's cuz how y'all coming, bro? Like, y'all grabbing up on my girlfriend. I'm a minor, bro. You throwing me in cuffs and doing all this [ __ ] >> It don't matter. Minor don't matter, man. >> Bro, y'all search me down already, y'all. See, I ain't got nothing on me. I'm not running from y'all. >> You need You need to calm down a little bit, brother. >> All right, I got you. I'm calm down. >> She tried playing the victim card while her boyfriend mouthed off thinking it would help. Truth is, that legal ignorance just dug them both deeper. The smell of marijuana changed the whole game, turning a traffic stop into a criminal investigation. >> He just the passenger. >> Yeah, he was just being an [ __ ] Just >> So, what do we got? What are we going to do? >> Well, she had weed. She's going for the obstruction >> and the weed. And now I'm probably just going to cut the other two loose unless there's other stuff comes up. >> Yeah. >> She tried significantly hard to destroy the evidence. >> She had it in the cup. We tried to grab her cup. She snatched her cut back whenever the marijuana fell out. >> Mhm. >> I was trying to contain her arm. She was kind of pulling her arm away and tried to step on the mariju. >> You got anything else on your person? >> Can I get my shoe, please, sir? >> I'm asking if you have anything else on your person. >> Oh, I don't have nothing on my person. >> All right. Cuz it gets you into jail. It's another felony charge. >> Can you tell my uh who you give my keys to? >> Your brother. Like you asked. >> Can you tell him to go pick up my girlfriend for her job? Sunshine Learning Center. >> CAN YOU GET MY PHONE OUT THE DOOR? PLEASE, PLEASE, SIR. Please help. >> You know your social? >> No. Off the top of your head. How old are you? >> 17. >> You're 17? How old is the driver? Do you know her? Like, who is she to you? >> She's 17. She's 28. Who is she to you? >> Do you live at this house? >> Okay. Is there an adult here that can take you? >> Who's this guy right here? Do you know? Is he responsible for you? >> Yeah. Is the other guy like your brother or something? >> My boyfriend. >> Your boyfriend? >> Yes, sir. >> Are his parents here or somewhere? >> Cuz he said something about his parents. He's 17, too, right? >> Yes, sir. We're cutting. Probably going to cut her loose. Mhm. >> And then the brother's in the back of the other car. >> Okay. So, you turn and tie. You turning her loose right here. I'm >> sorry. Brother, >> her sister Dominique, calm down. I got 20 right here. >> And then something like has to give the keys to that car to the brother. >> Cops sorted it out, letting the boyfriend go to keep things from spiraling. Their focus stayed where it belonged, on the driver. And when she tried to destroy evidence, that only tightened the case against her. >> Damn. Y'all can't be doing people like this, bro. >> Man, you got to chill out, man. >> Bro, I was trying to, but he know he was dead ass wrong, bro. That [ __ ] didn't even make sense. >> My goodness. >> How you going How you going to see us do Okay, my bad. My bad. >> How you going to see us do it way down there, but then you going to pull us over when we pull into the yard? >> Just chill out. >> That don't even make >> Hey, listen. Chill out. >> I got you. Go over there. Go stand over there. >> Uh she was at part of a traffic stop that went south and the driver went to jail for some weed and some other stuff. >> I was trying to get uh she's 17. So I'm trying to get her in custody of a guard. >> So she wants you to have the keys. The keys are on top of the car on the back of there. >> So like can I know like how much weed was in the car? >> I don't know how much I don't know how much weed's in the car. >> Don't nobody know. >> The other police that one that arrested her that's doing the report. That's the way you got to act. Just calm down, bro. >> Look, you've been cool with us this whole time. I don't know what your involvement is with them or if you knew that we was in that car or if you knew she was going to act like that when she gets pulled over or where she was driving crazy today. But I seriously can reconsider who you hang out with. Just a for >> Hey, can you TELL HIM GO GET MY GIRL FOR WORK? Can you please TELL HIM TO GO GET MY GIRL? 32.4. >> Can y'all please let me go, MAN? Y'ALL CAN KEEP THE WING. I DON'T EVEN CARE. I DON'T WANT TO GO TO JAIL. >> Right now. >> SEE? >> FOLLOW HER. FOLLOW HIM. >> QUIT SCREAMING. PLEASE >> TELL HIM TO HURRY UP AND GO GET HIM. >> QUIT YELLING, PLEASE. 3:45 1915. >> Like that. Uh to tech. Copy. Beginning. >> I ain't attack nobody. >> I said TAC. It's short for the tactical office. >> That's where we're going to go. Right. >> In the end, she was hauled off, charged with resisting an officer without violence and possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $3,000. She first pleaded not guilty, but later switched to no contest. The court slapped her with a year of probation and $668 in fines and fees. On September 17th, 2022, police were called to a Family Dollar after reports of a disruptive customer. A woman had cracked open a beer and started snacking inside the store without paying. What seemed like a petty shoplifting case quickly spiraled far beyond anyone's expectations. >> Okay, while I'm here, real quick, so that way I don't hang you up for that. Can you please pay for it while I'm here? And then we could talk about that outside. >> Where's your wallet? >> In my van. Okay, leave the property here. Let's go out to your van. >> Cuz I'm afraid of my mother-in-law. She's just >> So why'd you leave your van over there? >> Why? >> It's my son's birthday tomorrow, dude. >> It's his birthday. He's going to be 14. >> All right. >> He's never had a good birthday. I've never had a good birthday. Both her birthdays are in September. >> One second. 12 flyer. I'm 1012. >> So I want to invite her. I like, "Hey, you should come to Ryan's birthday party. It has like all kinds of cool [ __ ] you know, like invitations, everything. No, she said >> 23 on three. >> I'm going to shoot your house. I'm like, what? She's playing and then she's like, "Rob, get the gun." I hear like I was like, "Bitch, dude, I dropped everything I ran." I was like, "This [ __ ] is stupid." I was like, "Man, what did she look back?" And I was like, "Don't even chance it. Just run." Right. Would you chance it or would you like I don't care how stupid I look. >> I've already So, I've already spoke to your >> what >> ex-mother-in-law. What if you're sad? >> So, per her, >> first of all, y'all aren't, for what she's telling me, not on the best of terms in the sense of, >> but that doesn't mean I gota shoot you. >> You entered the house without permission. You just walked inside. Okay. >> You entered the house without permission. >> Four kids. >> At first, she appeared calm, even distracted. But when she began talking about her ex-mother-in-law and her son, deep scars and personal obsessions surfaced. Officers used active listening. letting her feel heard while carefully drawing out context to understand what they were really dealing with. >> You refused to leave. Y'all got into an argument and that's when she threatened you, which at that point she was defending herself >> because you refused to leave her property after you let yourself in, which you cannot do. You know, you can go to jail for that, right? >> Really? >> Yes. It's called burglary. >> Unauorized entry. >> Awesome. >> So, all right. >> You can't do that. >> I'm excited. I got a felony, dude. >> No, she chose to not press charges on you. >> I hope she pressed her charge. What the >> chose to not press charges? >> Why? Tell her, please. Do you? >> Why? >> Cuz I want a felony. >> You want a felony? >> Yeah, I need you to walk me over there to get my keys so I can go home cuz I don't have >> Well, you're not going anywhere until you pay for this food. >> Well, my wallet's in the van. >> So, you have to walk me to my van. >> What's the total for what she owes? Can you ring that up for me, please? >> Are you going to pay for my [ __ ] I'll pay you back when I get the beer. >> I ain't paying for that beer. All right. I will be nice enough considering she doesn't have a wallet. If you're willing to put that on hold until she returns. >> Yeah, please don't spill it. I'll drink it. >> No, you're not drinking that. Let's get dumped out. >> Oh [ __ ] That is a DUI. >> You're already 206 or phone call out. >> You want to trespass her? >> Yeah. >> Where up to him? No problem. Don't stop that. All right. We're not doing the nonsense. >> I'm just trying to get to my van to get home to do a wellness check with my kids. >> We're running around. We have emergencies going on right now. Just >> multiple emergencies. Hey, but my kids at at my mother-in-law's door with my party [ __ ] cuz I was trying to invite her to my son's birthday party. >> Hey, kids. Watch your four boys. >> Okay. Well, you have a young child right there. >> Sorry. I know. I'm sorry, honey. >> That's not appropriate. >> You're right. >> All right. Second, why would you come to a store with no wall? Yeah. >> Again, enough. Stop the >> All right. >> Do you see his pants? Do you not tell like your pants are a little tiny? Yeah. Hey, let's go outside real fast. Let's go. Mr. >> Then the resistance came into full view. She hurled insults, provoked, and refused basic instructions. This wasn't self-defense. It was a deliberate attempt to seize control and force officers into a confrontation. >> A store and try to pay for someone with no money. But once store employees decided to press charges, everything changed. She realized her grip on the situation was slipping, yet tried to save face with half-hearted compliance. Following orders while muttering under her breath, still dodging accountability. >> Do you guys want to pursue charges for the >> Does she pay for it? >> Does she? >> No. Yeah, you can go ahead cuz LP is going to be on me if they taken care of. >> All right, >> Ra. It was more than a moment of bad judgment. It revealed a complete collapse of emotional control. What looked like petty defiance became a portrait of total instability. I'll >> pray for you tomorrow in jail. Me, >> too. Thank you so much. >> With a huge >> Touch me. Touch me. Touch me. Touch me and you will go to jail. Okay, cool. Now you're going to jail. >> Wait. >> All right. Officer. >> Yep. >> Oh god. Like relax. Stop. I got five. That's totally >> congratulations. You just talked yourself into going to jail. >> Thank you. I could use some rest. >> I'm gonna get it. I'm going to need you to grab the statement and probably take over that report. All right. I'm going to do this. >> Oh god. >> Uh I'm going to do this. >> All right. >> The one on a bucker. >> Mhm. But her insults, defiance, and physical provocation escalated into something far more serious, assaulting an officer. That charge could turn into a felony, bringing heavy fines and jail time. On June 13th, 2025 in Ohio, police pulled over a car for a traffic violation. The driver had stopped past the line and drifted into another lane while turning, suspicious enough [music] to warrant closer attention. That single moment drew officers into an investigation that turned out to be anything but simple. >> Hello, I'm Officer Albert Chrysley Police. Reason I'm stopping tonight, when you were over at Dole >> uh at the four-way stop sign, >> you stopped, your whole vehicle was in the crosswalk. >> Um >> I think you're right. >> So, and then when you turned on the Lakeshore, you were actually straddling both the oncoming lane and this lane. Is everything all right tonight or You know, I've lived here for so many years. I I got bad handed. So >> Okay. Do you reproductive insurance with you as well? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> Yes. I was right there. >> Yeah. You know, I'm not going to >> Okay. >> I totally get it. >> You heading home tonight or? >> Yeah. I live over there on the west end. >> Where you coming? Where are you coming from? >> Um where am I coming from? Well, I've been to like a couple places. My girlfriend had abandoned Wakanda. Let's see if this one is correct. >> Okay. Give me a couple minutes. I'll be right back with you. Okay. And you I don't want you to drop any stuff in there. I just want to talk to you outside the car real quick. >> Why do you want to do that? >> Uh just cuz just with all of your driving and stuff and some of the things I'm seeing. I just want to make sure you're okay. I just want to talk to you outside of the car. >> I'm actually fine. >> Well, yeah. I need I just like I said, >> I don't see anything that you that I've done. I mean, I I kind of admit I'm local and I I usually just kind of just I did stop at the Dole. >> So, the reason I'm The reason I'm >> stopped at the Dole thing. >> So, when you stopped over at Dole in Woodstock, >> you were all in or Yeah, it's Dole and Woodstock. You're all the way in the intersection. >> Okay. >> Well, I'm always, you know, I ride a motorcycle. >> Fair enough. But then when you're coming up and you're driving in two lanes and then when I'm hitting the lights >> Yeah. that when you turned onto this street, you were straddling both lanes. >> No, I wasn't. >> Yes, you were. I was right behind you. >> I don't think so. >> So, like I said, I just want to talk to you outside. It's not the end of the world, but I'd like to have No, no. I'm giving you a cordial I'm giving you an order so that we can have a cordial conversation. >> From the start, the officer stayed professional, introducing himself, explaining the stop. The woman was polite at first, even admitting to a bad habit while fumbling for paperwork. But the mood shifted fast when she was asked to step out of the car. is when you're on a traffic stop, I have the right to ask you to step out of the car to talk to. >> I haven't been on a traffic stop at like correct. What I'm explaining to you is yes, it's Pennsylvania versus Mims is a Supreme Court case law that says on any traffic stop, I have the right as a police officer as long as I have you lawfully detained, which I do on two moving violations to ask you to step out of the car to talk to. >> What are the moving violations? >> Improper lane in usage and improper turn. >> Additionally, on a GoPro, >> it's on a dash cam and on my body cam. >> Do you mind if I see it? No, because my body my body and dash cam are still doing it. >> So, you need to exit the vehicle right now. Okay. >> I not exiting the vehicle unless you show me what I did wrong. >> Okay. So, you need to exit the vehicle. Otherwise, you're going to be obstructing and I can place you under arrest. >> Would you please mind showing me what I did wrong first cuz I'd like to see >> I cannot I cannot stop recording right now. >> What are you talking about? >> My dash cam, my body cam recording. In order to be able to show it, if you don't exit the vehicle, I'm going to open your vehicle, take you out, and place you under arrest. I don't think you can do that. >> I can legally do that. You'd be instructed because I've given you a lawful because I'm telling you because I'm seeing things that could be indicative of impairment. >> Well, I'd like to see what you're talking about because I don't see any reason to stop at the stop sign. >> So So come talk to me outside of the car and we can I can explain it to you. Okay. >> No, I don't like this. Now, you know, I'm hugely back the blue. We ride in all these like events for you guys. And I'm like, I don't understand because number one, I've been living here for I don't know 40 years. It's just I told you it's like a bad habit that I just like drive because I know where I'm going. >> So why are you so apprehensive about just having a conversation with me outside of your vehicle? >> I'm not apprehensive about it. I think I know my rights. >> No, it's actually not your right. Uh you have the right to you have the right to remain silent. You have many rights, but the right to sit in your car after I've lawfully told you you have to get out You're telling me something, but you're not willing to show me the evidence. >> How can I show you the evidence if you're still sitting in the car? >> How about you show me the evidence first, and then I'd be willing to get out of my >> When the officer cited Pennsylvania versus Mims, she snapped back, demanding proof right there on the roadside. It wasn't about facts. It was an attempt to flip the script, turning herself from the one being checked into the one calling the shots. This was the classic Karen playbook. >> No, no, no. I'm I'm really fake driver. >> I'm saying that's on my >> No. on stop signs I don't put my feet down which I admit on my Harlot. >> Yeah, >> I'm just used to that. And so I just when I'm in my little car I kind of do the same thing. I totally admit that. >> Right. And he's >> but I didn't even roll through the stop sign. I stopped at the stop sign. I don't know what he's talking about. Like >> so so you >> I don't know what he's talking about. So I want to see what he's talking about. >> I can explain to you. So when we're at Woodstock >> I want to see the evidence cuz I don't know what you're talking about. >> That's my sergeant's coming down. I'm going to tell you. So, my sergeant's coming down. I'm going to tell you right now. We're not going to stop my body cam or my dash cam to show you the evidence. Okay. I saw it with my own eyes. That's why I waited for you to go because you were sitting in the middle of the intersection. >> I don't know what you're talking about. The middle of the intersection. I'm at a stop. >> All right. So, stop. So, stop sign. >> I'm at a stoplight. No, I'm at a stop light at Dole. You didn't see your lights on until after I was after Dole and I'm like, what? I don't know what's happening. >> Yes. So, there was a stop sign. Well, if you didn't like the stop sign, why didn't you pull me over after the stop sign? >> Am I still to run your plate? I like to know who I'm stopping before I turn my lights on. >> What's going on, >> ma'am? So, like, like you said, you didn't have anything to drink. He's just covering our baselines with with that. So, 40 years. I love you guys. >> I've been backing you guys forever. I know so many people in the police department. What is the deal? I >> like >> I've never heard of something like this where I'm >> like you said stopping at the stop sign >> because of the driving infractions. They're just consistent with somebody. >> There's no driving infractions. >> Yes, there was. Additionally, you're fumbling with all of your documents. You're slurring your speech. >> I can't find my I'm like, where the heck is I usually put my insurance card like >> Okay, this is what happens. >> Let Let me ask you this. Would you would you even just submit to a breathalyzed? No, I will not do anything because I don't know why you're even stopping me. You're not even telling me. >> She leaned on emotional appeals. I support the police and [music] I know people in the department. She expected personal ties to earn her a pass, but the irony was clear. Her combative attitude erased every claim of support. >> Wait, my sergeant. So, I'm I'm trying to tell you, but you're not listening. >> Seriously. >> So, when I pulled you over I pulled you over for that one and then I called >> You bought one. And you're not even >> the stop sign that that we've been talking to at the door and a door would stop. >> But you didn't even pull me over after that. That's when I hit my dash cam and then we kept going and then as we were coming down. >> No, you didn't even pull me over till after the stop light at that Dolan 14. Correct. Cuz I was still running your plate. I was still following you. And then when it was a safe location to make a stop, that's why I stopped you here. >> You weren't even following me. You came on a turn after that at the stop sign. And you're flashing your lights at me to turn >> to keep going. Yes. Because I was getting behind. >> I'm waiting for you. I'm at the stop sign and you're I'm like, why are you not turning? >> Because you stopped in the So the stop line on the stop sign, right? You were all the way in the intersection. >> It's called enttrapment. If that's what you're talking about. If that's what he's talking about. Cuz I'm sitting at the stop sign waiting for the car to turn. Then he starts following me. >> I don't know if here's the thing. Look, my name's Dave. Okay. >> What? >> My name's Dave. You can call me Dave. >> All right, >> that's fine. >> But here's the thing. >> You're on a traffic stop. >> You get a chance to keep that for You're on a traffic stop right now. Officer Halib is the one in charge of the traffic stop. He's giving you a lawful order, which we are allowed to do, for you to exit the vehicle so we can continue his investigation. If you refuse to do that, you will be arrested for obstructing an officer. I'm not striking an officer by not exiting my vehicle. >> Yes, you are. He has given you a lawful order to exit the vehicle. >> I know my rights. I do not have to exit the vehicle because I know for a fact that I've done nothing wrong. >> Take your seat belt off. >> Karen, >> please. Please cooperate. >> So, >> do that for me, please. >> Why do you want me to exit the vehicle? >> So, he can continue his investigation. >> What investigation? >> I I've not even done anything. When the sergeant stepped in and repeated the order, reality hit. Her tactics had failed. Frustration boiled into rage and rage into desperate resistance. Logic crumbled, leaving only pride refusing to back down. Funny how those who shout loudest about knowing their rights often end up in handcuffs. >> Oh man, you do have a body cam on, right? Yes, I do. We all do. >> So, I'm going to give you Karen. Is there anything I can do or say to make you exit this vehicle before you get arrested and I have to put hands on you? I'm thinking. I'm thinking. >> Okay. Take a moment. >> So, what's going to happen right now is either you're going to get out of the car and we're going to continue our conversation and back or I'm going to put hands on you, take you out of this car, tow your car after you get arrested and taken to Crystal Lake. >> But you need to come up with a reason why you'd be doing this to me. >> Because you're fumbling with items. You are slurring your speech. You >> I'm not slurring my speech. This is how >> I've never met you before, but that's what it appears to me. >> Oh my god, you're cracking me up. So, so I want to make sure that you're not impaired. I want to do a couple of things to make sure you're not impaired. >> But Karen, this is this is the last opportunity I'm going to give you before I arrest you for obstructing. Do you understand? >> That's fine. >> So, just step out of the car. Let's make this easy. And >> I'm not stepping out of the car. >> Okay, then you're under arrest. >> For what? Well, can I have my Wait, hold on one second. Wait. Come out of the car. >> All right. Well, we give me one second. >> You were under arrest. Come on. Get out of the car. >> Well, can I get my purse and my phone? >> We'll get it for you. You're under arrest. >> You got Just get my phone to my purse. >> Okay, Karen. >> Okay, turn around. Put your hands behind your back. >> Oh, this is fun. >> You guys crack me up. >> All you got to do is get out of the car. That's it. We're going to go to the passenger side. >> You going to do it? >> The reason was so you don't get arrested and so we could have a civil conversation. What? >> Okay. Well, we had a civil conversation when I was in my car. In the end, she was arrested, facing multiple traffic violations, plus resisting [music] arrest. Penalties could range from fines to jail time, depending on Ohio law and the court's decision. On March 19th, 2022 in Texas, police got an urgent call. The deeper the investigation went, the clearer her instability became. When her first excuses collapsed, she shifted gears, using psychological ps in a desperate attempt to [music] wrigle free. >> All right. Yeah, it looks like you have an expired driver's license going 60. Um, and you don't have insurance. He What's Why is all that happening? >> Well, I knew my license was expired and I just bought the car and I was just going to go back to my daughter so I could I mean, I just want to get this all taken care of. Um, once told her, but I'm acting I'm fine. If you want to give me full soriety, I will take it. >> Did you take anything? >> No. No. >> You haven't used any kind of drugs or anything, any pills? Well, I I learned my lesson. >> Okay. This car at that tag. >> Um um my boyfriend bought it for me from a girl named Britney. >> Okay. How long ago was there? >> 67 right? >> Yeah. Where'd you So, where'd you get the tag at and everything? Did y'all get a new tag or something? the time. I'm trying to see what he's saying right here. >> It's just it's not looking like the tag is matching the vehicle. >> Okay. >> So, uh >> I can take the car.
