On a scale of zero being 0 to 10, 10 being severely intoxicated to zero being you haven't had a lick of alcohol, how intoxicated you think you are. >> Well, I'm Kevin something. >> What happens when a drunk mom thinks the rules don't apply to her? >> Sit down. Get in the car. >> I'm stupid. I don't know how to sit down. >> Get in the car. >> From DU, I chaos to reckless speed and wild excuses. These body cam moments show how fast everything falls apart. On March 29th, 2023 in New Mexico, police received an urgent call about a woman suspected of driving drunk with two children in the car. A friend riding with her tried to stop the situation, but she kicked him out of the vehicle. And here's what actually happened next. >> Can you roll on the back window for me? Mhm. >> Can you roll down the back window for me? Yeah. Just so I can see all your kids. >> Hi. >> Hello. I am off second one with the house police department for me. So, the reason I pulled you over is you were called in as a like a reckless driver or a drunk driver. >> Have you consumed any alcoholic beverages just today? >> No, I just left Hun. >> I just left. >> Did you? >> Yes. >> But when I first turned around on you, you were going southbound on Placita. Hunan is the other way. >> Well, I just left Hunan and I went to my friend's house. Are you on the phone with someone? >> I was trying to call something. >> So, I'll explain to you what I was called for that you left a residence intoxicated. You had called for a ride. Um, at which point then you proceeded to leave the residence with your two kids in the car. Cuz right now, I am more concerned with your kids welfare. >> Well, I'm almost home. >> Where is home? >> Right here. >> Okay. Would you mind stepping out of the car for me? You can leave the windows down so you can hear them. Step to the front of your vehicle. Okay. Your name's Jessica, right? >> They're talking to her. >> Who are you calling? Can you step over here? It's connected to your Bluetooth, I think. >> I'm sorry. I've had a hard day. >> Oh, I get it. Can I start asking you some questions? Yes. Of course. >> Okay. But I mean, you can pay attention to me. Okay. Well, I just want to >> All right. Have you consumed any alcohol that just >> No. >> No. >> I I took the kids to um twirl. We went to Punan's. >> Okay. >> I have consumed Nyquil because I haven't been feeling well because I've been cleaning cars. >> Okay. >> In the cold. >> I can smell a little bit of alcohol. >> Not a gargantuan amount, but I can smell it. I'll be honest with you. >> So, have you consumed anything today? Any alcoholic beverages today? >> No. >> It would account for that smell. Why? Why? Why do you smell like alcohol? >> I do have a marijuana. >> How long ago smoke? >> Uh, I say about like an hour ago. >> Okay. Cuz what I'm seeing does not account for marijuana. That is entirely alcohol that would cause your eyes. Okay. >> So, be honest with me. Have you consumed any alcohol today? >> No. >> No. >> Just a bad day. That's a line officers hear all the time in drunk driving stops, but cops don't judge situations based on excuses. She claims Nyquil helped her feel a little better. And now the walk and turn test is about to reveal whether that story holds up. >> You understand the instructions? >> Yes. 1,00 1,002,00 tell me to stop. The only thing is I'm already tiny. My hip is >> You can use whichever leg you want. >> I'll use both if I have to. >> All right. You may begin. >> Okay. 1,00 1,002 1,003 1,004 Oh. Okay. >> On a scale of zero being 0 to 10, 10 being severely intoxicated to zero being you haven't had a lick of alcohol, how intoxicated do you think you are? >> One. >> One. So, you have consumed something. >> No, you asked. What do you want to tell you? Zero. >> Well, zero is completely sober. 10 is severely intoxicated. Zero. >> Yes. >> Okay. Well, right now I am placing you under arrest for DWI. Okay. Okay. >> So, turn around and put your hands behind your back. There's two kids in one car. Do they have a dad or are you They're not >> dad. No, they don't. Okay. Do you have any family members that can come get them? >> Well, that's what I was trying to call. >> I get off my phone. So, >> well, because I needed to communicate with you, but it seemed like you already knew the outcome of what was going about to happen. Okay. >> Yeah. So, what? >> Okay. So, um can you give this officer the phone number to whomever the parent is or guardian? >> Hi. >> Hi. >> How are you? Where do they live? You're a Where did they live? Well, >> don't do that. Just go. You're >> trying to take care of your kids. >> You're not trying to take care of you. >> Hey, >> take a breath. I'm trying to work with you. >> Stupid dumb family. >> Ouch. >> Put your right foot in. >> Sit down. Jessica, put your right foot in. >> I love you. I'm sorry. >> She doesn't need to see you like this. Put your foot in. >> The moment the handcuffs click on, the whole tone shifts fast. She refuses to get into the patrol car, starts calling the officers idiots, and when they ask who can come pick up the kids, suddenly there's nobody. I see. >> Oh, wow. >> What kind of book is this? What the >> Oh, there's a bug. >> Yeah. >> Take it off of there. >> Yeah, >> those are cute. >> Yeah, this is my ass. >> You know how to read? >> What? >> Oh, really? Yeah. And walruses. >> Jessica, >> what? >> I have to read you a public New Mexico advisory. Okay. >> [ __ ] you. [ __ ] >> In the car. No, I have to. It's first aid statue. >> Look at my kids. >> I have to. So, okay. Call my kids. Call my somebody to come get there. Look it. This isn't Nope. Get back in the car. >> Yeah. >> Look at that. >> That's a walrus. >> These are elephants. Look at the fishies. >> Look. He >> Yeah. He's giving him a bath. >> He's taking bath. Yeah. And the birdies. Look, there's a birdie with his mama. >> Yeah. What did that bear? >> The big bears. >> It's a baby bear. >> Yeah, it's a baby bear. Can >> you call somebody, please? >> I am. But before I can do that, you need to get into the vehicle. >> I know, but I just want you to I want to see you guys. >> I will. Jessica, please get into the car. Okay. >> You guys don't care. I don't care. I absolutely care about the welfare of Okay, can you please get back in the car? You kind of just fell out. >> You're not used to me. >> I won't help you. You >> two. Thank you. >> Take your feet into there. Okay. >> Tissue. >> Uh, you don't. >> Ma'am, is there a family member we can call to pick up your children? >> I'm trying, but you guys are acting like idiots. >> Okay. So instead of being vulgar about everything, is there a family member that we can call to pick up your children? >> Please. >> So give me a family member. >> Well, I can't tell my phone. >> What's striking is that Jessica barely reacts while her children watch their mother being cuffed. No remorse, no visible concern. But the most telling moment comes later when she suddenly starts talking about her boss. >> I do have to read this to you. Even if you don't want to hear you, >> I have to you. >> Oh yeah, I have the >> Listen to me. You're about to talk about something important. You are under arrest for DWI. >> Shut up. >> The New Mexico Implied Consent Act deployed by the hospital or a physician of your own choice. >> You got PL >> to perform additional chemical test. The cost of this additional chemical test will be paid for by the law enforcement agency. Do you agree to take our test? >> Do you agree to take our test? >> Shut up. >> Okay. Consider your actions refusal. Now I have to read you this. I cannot force you to take our test. >> But if you refuse the >> your New Mexico driver's license or non-resident operating privileges for one year. So, do you agree to take my test? >> Yeah. Do I have a choice? No. >> You have the right to refuse. But do you take a right knee? >> No. Don't put your foot in there. Just watch your knee. >> I don't have my phone. >> Is it in the vehicle? >> I don't know. Look at this stupid. >> Well, she's just doing her job. >> Yeah. You guys have dog? >> Yes. Actually, we do. So, no one's answered yet because calm down. [laughter] Listen to me. >> My dispatchers are calling her right now. We will see if she answers. They're going to let me know here in a minute. All right. >> So, after that, we'll call your mom. Is that okay? >> No. Call my Nino, please. >> Now, your Nino. >> Nino. >> Your mom or your Nino? >> Anybody? >> Well, that's kind of what we're doing. What's your mom's name? >> Had he works for you guys? needle. Yeah, he's a stupid fat dispatch bastard. >> He's a dispatcher. >> No, the what is it? CO. >> He's a CO. >> You don't talk. He's fat. I mean, what the Call him >> Jessica's list of explanations keeps getting longer. Yet, sitting in the back of the patrol car, the tears don't seem to be for the kids. They appear to be for her Facebook reputation and the unwanted trip she's about to take. >> She's literally coming by herself. It was hard enough to find someone to come and get it anyway. Get your kids. >> Okay. >> Yeah, that's how I felt about babysitters. >> Okay, you don't need to yell. >> That's how I feel. You guys don't You guys don't >> that way. You know, we'll just take the whole box. We'll just take the box. >> Just leave it. >> Is this somebody hell or what? Huh? Is this the way to hell? Does it feel like >> Jessica? Do you need any medical attention? >> Like you care. Just do what you need to do. Take me to jail or anything. Shut up. You shut up too. >> You need medical attention. to you shut up and me to jail so I can go to go to jail up there because that's where the going to end up at. If you guys don't give a hurry up probably be sleeping on something like this for the next I don't even care anymore. [gasps] Baby, this is what God want. I swear like I never imagined this. The next 10 years I'm never going to be hell. >> Between jail and everything and violation and probation [ __ ] I'm about to be I never expected this to be my life at all. I always used to be a happy person. I used to like life. I used to freak people. Joseph I had a crush on Joseph. The woman is taken into custody and now faces serious DWI charges along with two counts of child abuse/ neglect. What do you think about Jessica trying to use her children as leverage with the officers? And here's how the internet reacted when this footage was released. The 911 caller made the correct decision. Kudos to her. That cop reading to [music] the child warmed my heart. How nice to see the cop being so sensitive and caring. It's damn difficult to feel anything but abject contempt for this sickeningly selfish woman. Was Nyquil really the reason or just a clumsy excuse for a dangerous habit? But this is only the beginning because the next mother nearly gambles with her child's life. On September 4th, 2025 in Steuart Causeway, Martin County, police received a report about a woman passed out behind the wheel while the engine was still running and the car remained in drive. In the back seat were two children, neither of them wearing seat belts. Here's what happened when officers approached. >> We got a couple concerns. One, your your car spoke on the shoulder of the roadway running in drive while you asleep. Right. >> I was told off and was like, I'm sorry. Yeah, that that is an issue. And then I can see and I can see just from looking in here there's bug in the car. >> Yeah. Or or in the car. But like like I can see I can see through the car. You have a pipe sitting right there and stuff like that. So the biggest concern I have >> like can happen. It can happen. So, I'm going to give you an opportunity to get any any [snorts] family member in the area. >> Huh? >> Yes. Yes. My my mother and my father. >> Okay. >> So, I know them cuz we're making right now. >> Okay. All right. So, so what's going on? >> Nothing. >> Absolutely nothing. So, I've >> No. Why are you here? It's 7:00 in the morning. Why are you here? >> Right. So, no. It's I'm >> Well, what's going on? >> Absolutely nothing. You you don't find that strange? >> No. >> Okay. All right. >> Just think tight for me. Okay. Just relax. Why the last time you use >> Okay. So, I don't I don't use to extend. No. >> Okay. All right. I don't. >> Okay. You have You have You have track marks. >> No. No, I don't. I don't. That's not I don't I don't. >> Okay. >> That's That's not I do not. >> Okay. Then then how? Okay. All right. >> Yeah. No, I don't. >> Okay. Just in for Just in case. just in catch for me. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Um, am >> I able to call my parents as well? >> Not yet, but we it >> right from the start, she behaves as if the bridge is her own private parking lot, and the arrival of police is nothing more than a minor inconvenience. But the law rarely runs on that kind of misunderstanding. >> As I approach on the curb, say she has a pipe right there and and and different things like that. >> Okay. >> I can't take law enforcement action. We we film there. So I'm like, what do you guys want to do? >> I'm confused. Will you >> you can or can't do anything? >> I can't. But we fam. >> Why not? >> Because he's uh >> Okay, >> ma'am. This is all has going on right now. Like I say, I look into your I look into your car for the I was just going to tell you that you can't that you can't park in park in the in the in the bike lane. Your car wasn't drive. You were sleeping behind the wheel. >> Oh, I I know you didn't, but >> No, I guess I do. That's how I park. I never My car unless it's turned on. >> Listen, you can you can argue with me. >> Oh, that's fine. That's how I have to park my car. I always It's in neutral. My car doesn't cuz then my shift gets >> It's easier to tell me. >> And like I say, this is what I saw of the B. It was on your seat. I know I do. Okay. >> I got new. >> So if you have something, tell me first. >> No, I do not 100%. So now I'm >> You have a car seat for now? >> Absolutely. Yeah. >> Hey, my name is Deputy Brenfield with the Mar County Sheriff's Office. I'm here with with Abby and the >> How you doing? Good. Okay. >> Um, hey, uh, is there any way is there any way you guys can come to the Stewart Causeway the north side? Hey, do you want to come to the Steuart Causeway? >> Okay. And why? >> Um the reason why we are here with Abby, we are investigating something. We're going to do a DY investigation. U we want to make sure that that she's okay. But at the same time, I want it. >> When the gear shift gets stuck, her train of thought seems to stall right along with it. But the moment she gets the chance to call her dad, the story suddenly gets cleaned up. Now it's just a case of pulling over for a nap. I was just with I just No, I was just with Hannah a little bit ago and I parked here this morning and No, I just I was off on the side. I was No, I was just right on the side of the cross right there. It's not >> It wasn't It wasn't It wasn't like >> This is So, Deputy Brenville obviously made contact with you for the reasons that he he roll through there. All right. He said the vehicle was running. It was in gear. Granted, you had the brake up, but it was still in gear running and he saw the the crack pipe. >> Yeah. >> All right. >> Um, he's just concerned about your ability to operate a motor vehicle. >> Yes, sir. I don't >> He just requested that. Just make sure you're safe to operate a motor vehicle. >> All right. >> You can turn this way and face me cuz I see the sun's like killing your eyes. I >> know. It's >> Is that better now? >> Yeah, it is a lot better. >> Would you be willing to do some field exercise so I can make sure you're safe operating? >> Yes, I'm absolutely. >> Okay. Do you use any illegal? I do not. I don't. That's >> This is your chance to be honest with me. >> I am, sir. >> All right. If you're not honest with me, I'm not cutting any grapes. >> Right. No, I'm not. Yes. >> Do you smoke any >> Do you use any >> I do not. >> Do you use any >> I do not. I do not. >> Um I'm trying to think go down the list like you don't use any form of substance. >> No, I do not. I have that is that is why I'm very a little confused with you. Um, and that is why I can't be any more transparent. >> I hear everything that you said, but none of that answered what I'm asking. >> So, that is what I'm answering you cuz it doesn't answer much for me either. >> Why do you have >> So, I don't I don't That is >> It wasn't of my vehicle that I've been ripped in and out of um quite a bit uh this week. >> The trembling in her voice is hard to miss. She knows that if she goes through a sobriety test, the outcome may not be in her favor. A whole list of excuses starts rolling out, but noticeably none of them mention the children sitting in the back seat. >> Ready? >> I want you to follow your eyes and your eyes only. I know the sun is right here, but >> I'm sorry. I am. I mean, >> all right. Do you want to reposition your body so the sun's not affecting you? >> Okay. >> Which way works better for you? Does the sun >> My eyes are just very sensitive. Sorry. >> The sun's behind you. Yeah. >> All right. I just need you to open your eyes for this one. So remember, feet together. >> Okay. I don't know if I should do this barefoot cuz I'm >> It's whatever you want to do, ma'am. >> Well, maybe talk to me. >> I need you to follow. You're closing your eyes. >> I'm sorry. I honestly, sir, I'm not meeting. >> If you're not going to perform the exercise, then I'll just move on to something else. >> Okay. I'm trying, but my bad. I promise you. I My eyes are very >> All right. Are you We're going to try this one more time. If you're not going to complete it, then we're going to move on. All right. >> Yes. >> And there you are. Close your eyes again. >> Okay. >> All right. Just give me a second. Stay right there. >> Just hold it. Put it down. >> Thank you. That's good. >> All right. Whenever you're ready. >> All right. Oh, I just stabbed myself to >> I just stabbed my toe. Sorry. >> Okay, go back to the beginning. This is your last chance to do it. I need you to focus. All right, so you just have to focus. So, put your left foot on the line. >> Okay. >> Put your right foot in front of your left foot, touching heel to toe. Put your arms down by your sides. Touching heel to toe. Okay. >> Put your arms down by your sides. This is the starting position. I want you to maintain this position while I give the instructions to its entirety. Do you understand? >> Yes. 3. >> Are you done? >> Her legs begin to shake and the situation quickly becomes clear. The walk and turn test leaves very little room for doubt. At that point, her morning schedule officially gains a brand new stop. >> All right, last one. You're going to go back to the front of my car. Then place your hands behind your back like you're praying. Like you're praying. Like you're praying. Put your hands together like you're praying. I believe your normal faces aren't appearing to be under arrest for DUI. All right. Listen, and this is your chance again to be honest with me. Is there anything in your bra? Is there anything in your pants or underwear that can be considered contraband in a correctional facility? >> Sir, >> answer that question first. >> 100%. I did not know there was a pipe with me. >> Yes or no? Is there anything in your bra or your underwear or your pants? >> There should not be anything. >> There should not be anything. >> I was sleeping and I am. >> Listen to me. >> If they find out at the jail there's something in there, it's going to be a a felony. >> What do you mean? will 100% give me >> he she doesn't know cuz otherwise I wouldn't be >> and my job free does on it. >> All right, man. Come on. Let's go. We're just past talking at this point. We are trying to do what's in the best. >> I'm asking you then. Okay. Yes. I'll then >> understand if they find anything at the jail, it's an additional charge and I explained that to you already. So, if you don't want to divulge it to me and let me know that you have it on you, we'll find out the jail. >> Have a seat. Yes, sir. Put your feet in. >> Put your feet in all the way. Put your feet in all the way. I don't want to have to force your feet in. >> You're an adult. >> I'm sorry. I don't I'm my This is where my my chest is. I'm having very high anxiety right now. Abby is transported to the Martin County Jail facing a serious list of charges including driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with evidence, and two counts of child neglect. What do you think about a mother ending up in this condition with an infant and a toddler in the car right at the top of a bridge? And while those children narrowly escape danger, another drunk mother is already challenging the police in the next case. On June 29th, 2025 in Florida, police responded to a report of a drunk woman passed out in the driver's seat of a parked car. But in the back, a one-week old baby was crying with no one caring for the child. And here's what really happened next. >> What's up, man? How you doing? >> Good. >> Hello. >> How you doing? >> Good. Who's that? >> My daughter. Does she look like me? >> No. I just pulled her out of the back of that car. >> Okay. So really quick, we were coming to take this turn here and she was asleep and passed out in the car with her feet out the window. Her flashes were out the window. >> Yeah. Her feet were up out of the window. So he's like, "Are you okay? Are you okay?" And she wasn't waking up. So we pulled the car and he went and got the baby crying and she completely out of it. So he took the baby out feeding the baby. But um yeah, she's definitely not very You can take it from here, but we didn't want to be >> a second. I mean, I appreciate you're feeding the baby. Obviously, you know what you're doing. So, >> the bottle wasn't fig. >> It's okay. >> You might want to do it back out. >> You have your ID with you? >> No, I don't. >> You don't have any ID with you? So, you're driving without an ID? >> Yeah, I uh Okay, awesome. What you need? >> Charlie, do you >> want fire rescue? >> She was pretty inside. >> I'm the only one she li India. Lima Quebec. She won't say anything. still had that baby in the car. That's right. >> Instead of the concern you'd expect from a mother, her emotions seem completely numbed by whatever she had taken. While the newborn ends up being fed from a bottle by a stranger, her indifferent attitude about missing legal documents suggests she was already prepared to push back against any kind of official procedure. passed out. We can hang it on the window with the car scream. >> Is your car? You can run. >> Where are you? >> Where are you right now? You know what city you're in? >> Hi, how are you? So they found her, I guess, like sitting in the car. >> You holding that? >> Yeah. >> I promise you, you're not closing this door. >> All right. And what you going to do? >> You're not closing this door. >> Relax. You're going to go in handcuffs. >> Put Okay. >> Put me in handcuffs. Please put me in handcuffs. >> Please put me in handcuffs. Oh my god, look at that. Look at that. It's probably going to be a DCF call out. >> Oh, for sure. >> Cuz we have no idea who this is or anything. >> So stupid. You so stupid. You so dumb. You dumb. Oh, mama. The mood quickly turns tense as her attitude becomes openly confrontational while everyone around her is focused on the well-being of both her and the baby. She reacts as if she's the one being treated unfairly. And cooperation pretty much stops right there. >> We have no idea. We don't even know her name. out of her. Where's your phone? >> I I I can give you back here. >> Okay, we need someone to come get your baby. Where's your phone? >> Back here in the back seat. >> Yeah. >> Where's your cell phone? >> You get your pink phone in the backs. >> Can you grab your phone behind the seat? >> Who do we call a family member? We need to call a family member for your baby. >> Okay. Hey, where's your phone number? You got your phone in the back. This uh the pink behind you. You grab your phone behind you. The pink right behind you. Get it. Reach back. Do that for me. All right, let's do it. And you know the phone number off the top of your head. Mom's phone number. Family number. Hello. Ask a question. Who do we call? Refusing to cooperate in order to care for the baby shows where her priorities lie. Instead of focusing on her child's safety, she chooses stubborn defiance. Officers try to keep her inside the vehicle to prevent things from escalating, but she's determined to do things her own way, and the consequences follow fast. >> Stay in the car. Stay in the car. >> Seat can figure out. All right. All right. Relax. Get out. >> Get in the car. Back up on the assignment. >> Watch yourself. >> You're the aunt. She's the cousin. Mom, she's my she's my cousin, but we grew up together. So, we're like, you know, I'm like her aunt. That's >> You have your driver's license on you? >> Yes, I have the driver's license. Let me just Isn't my >> When family members arrive, they begin revealing that situations like this aren't exactly new and that makes the incident look less like a sudden accident and more like another chapter in a familiar pattern. She tried to get out of history. >> Okay. >> So, she started to try to get out of the car and I was like, "No, no, no. Like, just sit here like, "You're safe in the car. The road's blocked. I don't want you running around." She kicked one of our other officers. At that point, we take her out of the car and put her in handcuffs. She's still kicking. Try to bite another officer when we're putting her in the back of the car, but she's going to go to jail. We're driving under the influence, battery on law enforcement option, everything. Obviously, the baby is what, a week old or so. So, it's either goes with a friend or family member that she feels comfortable with it going. She said that she did feel comfortable with the baby going with you or it goes to the state of Florida. >> So, she knew her too. >> Her last name is >> you can go there. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> But she told us I can ask her again. Make sure you ask her in front of her. Child go. >> I understand. But you're not legally so at least have her get an authorization that the baby can go with you. >> Okay. >> For the night at least, >> right? So you can start talking to the body on camera to have her telling you that because the child is hurting, right? But we always like to put the child with a family member before we try and teach them this thing. Right. I grew up a house. It's my little cousin. >> So, you're okay? It's your cousin here. >> You okay with your child going with her? With your cousin? >> Yes. >> The woman is taken to jail and now faces several serious charges, including driving under the influence, resisting an officer with violence, battery on a law enforcement officer, and child abuse or neglect. If convicted, she could face fines up to $5,000, three years of probation, and an 18-month driver's license suspension. Do you think this time she actually learned her lesson? And if that level of aggression sounds unbelievable, wait until you see the next mother who believes she's above everyone else. On May 5th, 2024, in a quiet residential neighborhood, police were called after a family gathering allegedly turned into a child abuse incident involving Brian, 20 years old. But the biggest obstacle at the scene wasn't Brian himself. It was his mother. And here's what really happened next. >> Does Brian live here? >> My son? >> Yeah. >> What do you need him for? >> I just need to talk to him about >> Let me go get him. >> Okay. I appreciate you. >> What happened? >> I'm trying to figure that out. Apparently, they got into some kind of argument or something like that and I just need to get his side. >> Was there an altercation? >> I guess so. I wasn't out there. I'm helping the other guy. >> You know something about it? >> What? Low brain? That's what he's talking about. >> I have no idea. >> Uh, Junior Brian. >> Oh my god. Oh my god. >> Yes, ma'am. >> I need a law. I >> I don't know. That's up to Brian. >> I don't I don't know about that. Maybe you need a law. >> Okay. Well, I'll tell you this right now. He's got felony charges. And if you interfere, I have to arrest you, too. And I'd rather not do that. >> You go with that bull. >> I'm not lying. >> I can't. Let me just go get my son. >> I appreciate you. >> Smart ass little mother. Will you please go get him? >> Will you please go get him? Thank you. >> I'll take my time, but I will go get him. >> Will you go around the other side? >> I really don't want her to interfere cuz it's an unnecessary arrest to me. >> Hey, dude. I can't control her. >> I don't understand. >> You ain't got free brain around here. Y'all need to stay together. >> Well, you don't tell me where I need to go, ma'am. >> You don't tell me where I need to go. >> You ain't going to whoop nobody, ma'am. You don't KNOW WHAT I'M GOING TO DO. >> If you can't stop, go. >> You can't tell me [ __ ] All right. I'm in my own yard. >> Mom, if you can't stop, go inside. Okay. >> I can't stop and I ain't got to go inside. >> No. These mother here to make it worse. >> It's okay. >> All right. >> What happened with Miss and hit my little brother? >> Okay, Marvin. Just Marvin just to make She's not going to stop. I'm sorry. >> No, don't be. >> Mom, please stop. >> The contrast is striking. The son tries to stay calm while the mother keeps escalating the situation. She seems to believe that being on her own property means everything should go her way even when officers arrive with a warrant. >> We're going to talk at the car if you can't stop interrup. Let's go. Ryan. Ryan, come with me. Okay. Right now. Right now you're detained. Okay. >> YOU KEEP YOUR HAND OFF OF HIM. >> STAY BACK. >> You mother record this. Get somebody. >> We're already recording. Mammoth. >> You know what? I DON'T TRUST YOU. DON'T TALK TO ME NO MORE. >> It's literally on right now. >> [ __ ] you. Y'all y'all motherers need retraining. I don't give a about what you are recording. You stop it and start it again like y'all always do. >> You're just saying that you need to. I never touched it >> in front of me. Why don't you quit doing that? >> I never touched it. So >> you did. I seen you. >> No, I didn't. >> You can decide at any time to exercise these rights and not answer any questions or make any statements. Do you understand each of these rights that I explained to you? Having these rights in mind, will you talk to me now? >> Yes, I do. And you got a question. What's >> Well, well, I I'll just ask that in a second because I'm completely honest and I know exactly what happened and I know >> and if this is not really helping, is it? >> I know she it I go through a lot, dude. >> But um >> if just stay right there while we talk to him, >> you stay right there. >> Ma'am, you're not going to interfere with us. >> No, I'm not. And you ain't going to interfere with him. I went over there being an older brother and I literally said this. I will not do anything. So I grabbed my belt and I went over there explained like you cannot do this. He's a little kid and I'm I'm my age. I can't put my hands on you just like you shouldn't put my your hands on my little brother. >> Ground not hard. I know they said that it was hard >> whatever. But yeah, I've did that just playing around and stuff like that as a kid. Brian explains that he used a belt to discipline the child. Meanwhile, his mother is busy showing the officers how to turn their body cameras on. Clearly, this family cares a lot about procedure, just not the kind that comes from the law. >> He should have put his hand on my son. >> Were you there? >> What? >> Were you there? >> I ain't talking about I'm talking about that mother. >> Oh, >> these mother is crazy. They're on drugs out there. >> Son, >> ma'am, stop interfering. Do not talk him truthfully. >> Stop. Stop interfering. >> Get away from me. >> Stop. Get back from me. >> Stop interfering. >> I'm not interfering. Get back from me. You're scaring me and threatening me. >> I'm not threatening you anyway. So, technically, you're under arrest for child abuse. Okay. So, how do you >> All right. But since you're being okay, I'm just going to cuff you in a front >> cuz I know I know I know you're your adrenaline's going to go crazy and everything. >> If you do not move out of my personal space, I'm going to press charges on you. I need a I need a law out here >> for what? If you call 911, ma'am, I'm going to arrest you for 911 abuse. >> You are getting very aggressive. >> I'm just telling you not to interfere with them while they're talking. >> Would you mind your business? >> This is my business, ma'am. >> Get the back from me. >> I don't have to go anywhere. >> Intimidate me. >> I'm not intimidating. I'm just >> And you're going to be in trouble. >> I'm just telling you. >> I'm genuinely trying to be a good kid. I'm trying to follow God and stuff like that. >> So, right now it's all it is is is an the accusation when the judge hears everything. It may just get thrown. >> Wait, I got to do all that. >> You're going to have a court. >> Well, can I make a um an appeal or something like that? Like um go check their house and their perspective. >> Well, if you're going to complain, I would rather you get No, ma'am. >> Do not let I want TO GO SEE MY SON. >> NO, MA'AM. DOCUMENTED. >> STOP. >> FAT. >> That's all you got to say? I'm fat. Oh, well. When logic stops working, she switches tactics and begins mocking people's appearances. While Brian slowly starts realizing what's happening, his mother keeps defending him in the loudest and frankly most ridiculous way possible. >> I hate what you stand for. >> You're not here for the people who didn't do nothing. You little >> ma'am. >> Can I bring my Bibles? Can I please bring my Bible? >> If she's willing to get it for you. >> Mom, can you please get my Bible? >> You should You shouldn't listen to me. You can't be honest with these stupid >> I'm going to be honest. I'm following God. Mom, whatever happens happens. I DON'T CARE. >> WHAT the are you thinking? >> Mom, get my Bible. My keys are in my room. >> What the he rested for? Y'ALL HAVE TO TELL ME what you were taking, my son. >> How old is he? >> Not. >> He's grown. He's He's been told his char. >> No wonder your wife don't want you. >> I don't have a wife, ma'am. >> Well, whatever. Exactly. >> Go get his Bible, please. >> Aren't you? Y'all two are >> Please get my Bible. I was Can I sit down or something? >> I'm getting it, baby. I'm getting it. And don't worry, you won't get out tonight. >> I'm going to be up there to get you here in just a little bit. >> You won't be out tonight. Fact you you don't know how it goes when >> he goes the first appearance ma'am. Yes he does not he will get up. >> You don't even know what the talking about. >> He goes the first appearance in the morning ma'am. >> Mom, >> it's not going to work. >> Mom, please get my Bible. >> Dude, you you fat. >> Go get his Bible, please. So he can have it. If that's all you got to say, it's not really doing anything. >> But sons of you know you are crooked as if you would have known the real situation. Can you go get his Bible man, please? He's requesting it, please. >> It's the nicest thing I heard all day. >> Go you. >> At this point, the arrest seems to have a new main character. The mother steps into that role enthusiastically, mostly with non-stop commentary. And judging by how things are unfolding, this isn't the end of the drama. >> Nothing on your hat? >> Nope. >> All right. You want to hold on to it, but it's going to go on your property. Okay. >> All right. I got to get my phone or my phone, but one of the two or at least both. Dang, these things are hard, aren't you? >> Yeah, I know. >> So, what charge would that be >> right now? Just child abuse. >> What? You can't say just child abuse. >> Umbrella charge. >> What's an umbrella charge? It goes >> kind this kind of covers everything. Okay. So, it depends on what the judge sees and everything else after that, >> dude. >> But that's that's the way it is. I'm going to attempt >> dude. Just sit sit tight as best you can. >> Hey, Mom. Can you get my phone now? >> Just stay right here. I'm going to call Christy and Donnie. We're going It's going to be fine. You'll get out tonight. I hate y'all. Y'all are wrong for this. That boy didn't do nothing against the law. >> We weren't there. We don't >> Are you taking it out on me? On him for the way I acted. >> No. >> You are. You're pissed, aren't you? >> Who? Me? >> Yeah. Cuz the way I talk to y'all. >> No, ma'am. >> I talk to y'all cuz like this y'all have y'all do. >> This is nothing to us. >> I got the Bible already. So, cell phone and flip-flops if you got it, ma'am. >> You know what? Y'all are pumped for this. Y'all don't know that he's a good boy. He's a Christian. He's a good boy. No cell phone for this. >> Cell phone and sandals, please. >> I hope the devil gets y'all. Snatches y'all out the window. >> Cell phone and sandals, please. >> I hope this happens to your boy when you have one one day. You'll know how I feel right now. >> I mean, if my kid if my kid done wrong, he needs to go to jail. >> My kid didn't do wrong. >> Well, I wasn't there. I don't know. >> Yeah, you wasn't there. So, why? >> So, cell phone and sandals cuz somebody that's here was >> ass. >> I don't kiss anyone's ma'am. Yes. >> Who's driving me? >> Can I talk to you about God? >> You can talk to me on the way there if you want to. >> All right. Look. >> Did you want to talk to him, man? >> There's this thing called um some judicial something. Another >> I'm not worried about it, Mom. I know God's got me. >> This is not stupid. >> No, man. >> Under 20 is a felony. >> If I don't get anything stupid, >> please. >> Okay, we're about done. >> Hate you. >> We're about done here. >> In the end, Brian is charged with child abuse. Beyond the possibility of jail time, he now faces a permanent criminal record. Something that could follow him into every future job opportunity. What do you think about the mother's behavior? Was this extreme defense an act of love or the [music] very thing that enabled Brian's actions in the first place? But that sense of entitlement still isn't the most dangerous thing about the drunk mother in the next case. [music] On February 27th, 2021 in Myiramar Parkway, Broward County, Florida, a routine traffic stop quickly raised concern when officers noticed the smell of alcohol and marijuana coming from a female driver who claimed she was on her way to pick up her child. And here's what happened as the investigation continued. Shantavia, how much have you had to drink tonight? >> I ain't drink you hang up the phone, please. I'm on my way to his baby. Go ahead, >> ma'am. Can you hang up the phone, please? >> Are you sure we going area? That's why. >> Okay. So, here's a few things that is concerning me. >> This vehicle is not registered to you. >> And there is no insurance on this car. >> Yeah. It was my wife. >> Okay. Okay. So, what type of shoes do you have on? Okay, that's good. Can you walk in front of that green car, please? The green one? Yes. Just walk in front of me. >> When I first saw you, you ran the light on Myar Parkway and Red Road. I was behind you for a good bit of distance. You were driving pretty fast. You double back around, ran the red light again, and then now we're here. Okay. Like I said, I could smell the marijuana coming from the vehicle. Don't know if it's from you or the passenger or >> maybe the club we had at the club. That's right. >> Maybe. I'm not sure. But then when another officer was talking to you, he said he can smell the oil of alcohol. Yeah. >> So I'm just here to make sure that you're not impaired beyond your normal faculties to have you operating a motor vehicle. Okay. Okay. So I'm going to ask you to perform three physical exercises. Okay. The first exercise I'm going to have to check your eyes. >> If you can, can you stand towards me? >> Stand with your feet together. No spaces, no gaps. And keep your hands by your side. Stay in this position until I give you further instructions. Okay? You see this light? When I start to move this light, I need you to follow it with your eyes and your eyes only. Do not move your head, okay? You're going to see this white light. I don't want you to pay attention to the white light. This is just for me to look at your eyes. Okay. >> Okay. All right. >> Right from the start, there were several red flags. As the stop shifted into a DUI investigation, she began emphasizing that she was a mother. But the eye test has a way of bringing the conversation back to reality. Don't move anything. >> Don't move your head. Okay. So for the next exercise, this requires you to walk. Keep your hands by your side. You can begin. I did. >> I Mhm. You're going to raise either foot you choose to raise, either your left foot or your right foot, approximately 6 in from the ground. That should mimic the length of a dollar bill or putting your foot on top of a soda can. It should look like this. And don't do it with me. Just watch me. While your leg is parallel to the ground, I want you to look down at your elevated foot. Point your toes towards the floor. Keep your hands by your side. Count in a manner of 1,00 1, 1,002, 1,003, and so forth until I tell you to stop. Do you understand? Eyes are hard to fake, even when words try to do the job. That's when the field sobriety tests begin. Step by step, they peel away the confidence she tried to maintain throughout the stop. Okay, feet together, hands by side. You can begin. And you can relax. You can relax. Okay. Two more. You can stay exactly as you are but feet together, hands hands by your side. So tilt your head that close your eyes, left, right, left, right. Okay, tilt your head back or keep your hands by your side. Close your eyes. Start counting. >> 30. Stop. >> Okay. How did you get to 30 seconds? >> I found it. The sobriety tests [music] don't go in her favor. Whatever substances she had taken seem to turn even basic tasks into a challenge. And the moment the handcuffs click on, she shifts to a familiar [music] strategy, denying everything. >> I'm not even drunk. This got to breathe. >> Yeah, that's what I'm That's what I'm going to ask you for. >> Use that next cuz I'm not even drunk. >> So, listen. I'm going to ask that you submit to a breath test. >> Yes. Okay. >> I'm ready. >> Well, I don't have it on me. We have to go down to the station. But that doesn't change the arrest decision. >> No, you could do it now cuz I'm not even drunk. Honestly, >> listen. Listen. I don't have the instrument on me is what I'm telling you. >> So, how you going to arrest me? I did everything you wanted me to do. I did all the assessments. >> The breath test does not change the arrest decision. The only thing it pertains to is your driving privileges. Meaning, if your driver's license will be suspended or not. >> My driving is good. >> No, I You asked me to do No, ma'am. Listen. You asked me to do everything I asked you to do. I mean, you as me to do it, not There are certain things in the last I pass. Okay. >> It's not a pass or a fail. It's certain things I look for. >> I'm not drunk, honestly. But you you arresting me for no reason. Honestly, I understand. I had to pick up my baby. For real. Listen, >> I'm not drunk. Like, >> I understand that, but I need you to listen to what I'm saying. >> I'm listening, but for real. >> No, you're not. If you're over talking, I'm trying to tell you. >> I'm trying to understand what I'm getting arrested for for no reason. I did everything I did. I walked this chemical substance or control. >> The tests are not pass or fail. There's certain clues that I look for. So, what's the clue? >> And I saw the clues and I have probable cause that place you under arrest for driving with alcoholic chemical or control stuff. >> Is your camera on with clues? >> Yeah, it is on. I I looked at your eyes. I saw the clues in your eyes. What? Your walking turn. I saw the clues in your walk. >> I can't walk in a straight line. How? It's not. I'm not balanced. Okay. >> It's just not about walking in a straight line. >> I did. My leg tilted. You under you arrested me for no reason. I can't listen to nothing because I'm getting arrested for no reason. My record is clean. I don't want this to be on my record. No, honestly, you're really doing a a bad bad making a bad mistake. For real. I really don't want this on my record cuz I'm not drunk. Honestly, you can even check my car. I have nothing in my car. You can check my records. Nothing. >> I didn't say that. >> I'm not drunk. I I'm licking you. I got everything you to the VA facility. >> She appears to believe that cooperation might help her slip out of trouble. But when the reality of the law collides with personal pride, the outcome is usually pretty clear. And in this case, it's all caught on camera. >> What test did I mess up? >> What we were just doing, it's not messing up. >> So, what test did I You just said You just said it's not pass, but you you arrested me for something that you think that is not true. >> What clues that I'm looking for? >> What clues you What clues do you want? >> Explain that to her. I need to get gloves so I can explain. >> He does DUI, too. He can explain it to you. Let's go. [cheering] Give it some follow. >> What about the registration? >> Yeah, I give it Did I give it to him? >> I think I gave it to No, I gave it to the trainer. >> I was doing something for >> what she saying. >> Do you have Do you have the ID? >> There she is. Hollow >> No, I asked Jimmy. He said he didn't have it. But I know I gave it. >> Do you have a valid license? >> No. The person who cares in, he on his way. He like five minutes away. >> Okay, you can put this back in the car. >> I have mobile. >> That's what she told me. >> Okay, I'm going to pat you down and I'm going to put you in my car. The owner of the car is going to come get the car, so it's not going to get towed. >> Can you spread your Can you spread your feet for me so I can pat you down? Do you have anything on you? >> Who's Mark? >> Do you have anything on you? That's the register owner. Who is Mark? Well, can y'all turn around cuz I'mma check her top part. Have anything in your boobs? Check it. Deputy Armstrong. I got my You don't get a copy of it, but it is public record and when you get out, you can request a copy of it. So, when the jail will have a copy of it. Let's walk to my car. You have to be in custody for a minimum of 8 hours from the time that I arrested you. Step up. Be careful. >> Officer >> the arrest report. >> You said what? >> I said you can read the arrest report >> cuz their arrest report will say why I placed you under arrest. Cuz me trying to explain it to you, you're not going to understand the lingo. But when I write my arrest report, >> okay, >> it's a little bit it's a little bit more detailed if that makes sense. >> Okay. >> You can read the arrest report. >> No, I want you to tell me. >> Southwest 68th Avenue. You'll be able to read the arrest report. >> So, just know I saw the clues in your eyes. I saw it in your walking. I saw it in your standing. I saw it in the finger to nose. And when I had you standing there to count, I saw it when you was doing that. In the end, the woman is taken to jail and faces charges including DUI and additional traffic violations. If convicted, she could face a one-year license suspension and fines of up to $2,000. After the footage was posted online, many viewers shared their opinions about the incident in the comments. She should have been arrested for operating a motor vehicle while not knowing how to count. I'm so blessed to have a normal, natural, decent, and educated mother. If she can't count, then how does she know how many dollar bills are being thrown at her at work? What's your take on this woman's behavior? Drop your thoughts in the comments below. One mother lost control because of alcohol. The next one loses control because of speed. On November 12th, 2025, police stopped a vehicle clocked at 100 mph in a 50 mph zone. What began as a serious traffic violation quickly turned tense once the conversation started. And here's what really happened next. >> Get out of your car. >> Step out of your car. >> Step out of your car. >> Are you going to arrest me? >> 152. >> 1542. 1852. >> I'm 1050. Papa X-ray Mike Zulu 95 be just west of the Dollar General. >> Hey, 152. I got one refusing to get out of the car. 35. >> Step out of the car now. >> Step out of the car. Step out of your car. Are you at County Road 21? >> 1552. I'm just west of County Road 21 on State Road 20. Ma'am, let me see your driver's license. Ma'am, I'm about to break your window. Get out of the car. Ma'am, step out of the car. Give me your driver's license and get out of your car now. Let me see it. Provide it outside of the window now. Get out of the car. Instead of following clear instructions, [music] she chose to ignore the officer's presence entirely. It almost looked like she believed silence might somehow delay the consequences. At one point, she even called her mother, apparently hoping someone could talk her way out of jail. >> Step out of the car now. >> Step out of the car. Step out of the car now. >> Can you speak in English? I don't think you can hear me. >> Step out of the car. >> No, no, no. There's a Do you hear him? >> I don't know who you're talking to. >> Do you hear this person talking to me? >> I work with the sheriff's office. Get out of the car. >> And he's assaulting me. >> You're being You're being stopped. Get out of the car. >> Criminal and >> Get out of the car. Assaulting. The officer is assaulting me. >> Get out of the car now. >> No. Okay. You want to talk to him? >> Open the door. >> Mom, he's talking right now. >> Open the door. >> See what he's saying? >> Open the door and get out. >> Opening the door, you piece of [ __ ] >> Get out of the car. >> You're driving 100 miles hour or 50 m. Get out of the car. Get out of the car. You are under arrest. Get out of the car. >> Get out of the car now. Get out. >> Get out of the car now. >> Get out of the car. >> Get out of the car. >> Get out of the car. >> Get out of the car. Now, >> if we have to ask you again, we're going to we're going to break your windows and we're going to pull you out of the car. >> Get out of the car. Get out of the car. >> I said no. >> Get out of the car. >> Get out of the car. >> Hurry. We're going to have to rip her out of the car. >> Get out of the car. >> Hey, I have rights to Jewish. >> Get out of the car. >> No, I'm an American citizen. >> Get out of the car. >> The stubbornness only escalated even when her own mother couldn't convince her to cooperate. Meanwhile, [music] the officer's patience started wearing thin as repeated instructions continued to be ignored. >> Break the window, Harry. Now break the window. >> Yeah. Break. >> Get out of the car. >> Get out of the car now. >> No. >> Get out of the car. Do not touch me. >> Here. >> Get away from me. >> Get out of the car. >> Get out of the car. You're getting tased. >> Get out of the car. You're getting tased. Stop. Don't cut her arm. Paris, >> I'm a girl. >> Do not touch me. >> I'm a girl. >> If you don't get out of the car, we're going to tase you. >> How am I supposed to use my arm? >> Sit back. >> Don't push me. >> Sit back. >> Let go for a second. >> Yeah, you got a new car. Congratulations. >> Get out now. >> Take off my seat. >> Get out now. I'm scared. >> Yeah. >> Get out of the car. >> Don't >> get out of the car. >> No, don't do that. >> Get out of the car. >> Out of the car now. >> Come on, >> I got it. >> Ow. >> I told you you're under arrest. >> No, you're a criminal. >> I say you're a criminal. Are they even filming this [ __ ] Let's get her up out of the road for it. Stand up. Stand up. What are you going to do? Take off my shoes. >> No, this one. >> Sit down. >> What could have ended with a speeding ticket quickly turned into something much more serious through sheer stubbornness and poor judgment. She managed to escalate a traffic stop into potential criminal charges. But the interview afterward revealed even more about the situation. I don't know how to sit down. >> Sit down. Get in the car. I'm >> stupid. I don't know how to sit down. >> Get in the car. Get in the car. >> Get in car. We're done. >> Oh, you put her feet. >> Hello, sir. >> Hello. >> For your service. >> Thanks. >> Yeah, she she she grabbed me by my arm and threw my arm. Sounds like battery. What an absolute idiot. Are you there? >> Hello. Hello. Are you there? Hello. Piggy piggy piggy. Are you there? Are you Hello. Fine. Miss Jenna, can you hear me? >> Can you hear me better now? >> Yes. Hey, so have you ever been arrested before? For what? >> For what? >> Yeah. >> Uh, one time I hit my mom. >> So battery, >> huh? >> Like a battery? >> They said it was basically like >> Yeah. Battery is like battery is like the physical touching of someone else. >> So yeah. Anything else or No, >> I think it was like petty at one point. >> Okay. Hi. >> So, today um obviously you're being under you're you're placed under arrest. You're you're being charged with resisting with violence, which is a thirdderee felony, and then you're being charged with just the speeding, the 50 mph over. Okay. >> Okay. >> You got any questions for me? >> No, sir. >> Okay. Can I ask you a question? >> No problem. >> Why Why didn't you want to get out of the car? >> Well, cuz I knew I was going to get arrested. >> Okay. I don't get into an accident. >> No, you didn't get into an accident. >> No, sir. >> Nope. 1611. >> In the end, the woman was taken to jail and now faces charges including resisting an officer with violence, battery on a law enforcement officer, and a serious traffic violation. The lesson here is simple. A little cooperation can save you from paying a very expensive price for stubborn decisions. After the video spread widely online, many viewers quickly shared their reactions. Let's take a look at what the internet had to say about this incident. This is like an internet troll but in real life. I've never been so excited for someone to be arrested. What does she think honking her horn is going to do. What a clown. So, what do you think about her actions? Share your thoughts in the comments below. One woman blamed it all on her naivity. The next one chooses confrontation. While on patrol, officers clocked a vehicle traveling 97 mph in a 70 mph zone. What began as a routine traffic stop quickly turned into a tense confrontation. Here's what happened when police pulled the car over. >> I'm officer Revan with the Jefferson Police Department. >> How you doing? >> Good. The reason I stopped you today, I got you at 97 mph. >> It's a 70. Going entirely too fast. >> Yeah, I got you. I got you. >> Y'all from North Carolina? >> Yeah. >> Who's this vehicle register to? >> Me. >> You? Okay. All right. Sit tight for me. >> Hey, y'all got registration on this vehicle? >> We couldn't change that for Dream cuz Dream almost play like us. Play for I got to go get the new one that my insurance company sent my >> Yeah. sent my uh check back. So, I got to get new insurance cuz I don't know. They just cancelled and sent the check back. >> Okay. I sit tap on them. >> Do you have your proof of insurance? >> No, I just told you they sent the check back, but I can show you like where I um where I did it and then they sent the check back. But you could just write me up for not having no insurance cuz I don't have none actively as of now. >> You don't? >> Yeah. Actively as of now. >> Cuz they sent the check back like it was their fault. Their their mishap. >> Okay. Without insurance, I can't let this vehicle back on the road. >> Why? >> Because I can't because it is a liability. >> Okay. So, what are we going to do? >> So, you can >> I can go home. >> I know. I'll give you the same opportunity that I give everybody. You can get some insurance here on the side of the road or I can tow the car. And I hate towing people's cars. So, I'm going to hope you can get some insurance. It's too much of a liability to let the vehicle back on the road. Cuz if I knowingly let you back on the road without insurance and you hit somebody or somebody hits you, then that's on me because I allowed the vehicle back on the roadway. >> At first, everything seemed fairly routine [music] until a bottle of tequila in the back seat suddenly disappeared. And just like that, the cooperation vanished, too, replaced by rising tension. Bottle that was sitting right here. Where'd he go? You could regardless of where it went. You could blow me. I'm not drinking. >> No, I'm I'm not asking that. >> Where's the bottle at? >> I don't know. >> I got three occupants and the driver's got an attitude. 97 at 1574. >> Get on northbound. Get on 85 northbound at the 137. Oh, 137. And I'm right here. Not the day to pop an attitude. [snorts] What you got? >> I got her at 97. >> Good god. >> I mean, out here that's an average night. Um, I've got odor. I had a half bottle of what appeared to be tequila on the back seat that magically disappeared from me going back to my car and coming back up. I got a male, I believe it's a male in the back passenger passenger up in the front. Um, she just started popping off with an attitude in the driver's seat and she just voluntarily told me. I asked if she had proof of insurance and she said, "No, I just told you." >> They sent back my check. It doesn't have insurance right now. I was like, "Okay, well, I can't legally allow the vehicle back on the road." And she started mouththing off more. So, I've got open container somewhere in the vehicle that I had plain view. I got PC all day long with odor. >> Yeah. >> Ashtray in the center. So, they f to come out. We're about to go through that car. Normally, when officers have legal grounds and ask someone to step out of the vehicle, that's a simple instruction. But for this woman, [music] the car door became a fortress. The talking didn't stop and the polite tone was about to disappear. >> Hey, boss man, can you put your Never mind. He's asleep. Hey, go do go ahead and do me a favor. Step out of the car for me. Step out of the car. >> Step out of the car. >> Right, though. >> Yes, you And I will tell you as soon as you step out of the car. >> I have before I step out. >> Let me explain what's going to happen if you do not voluntarily step out like I'm asking you to. >> I'm just making sure like what we stepping out for. >> It's cool. Step out of the vehicle. >> I'm asking >> step out of the vehicle or I'm going to force you out of the vehicle. >> Do and you will get sued cuz what what did you step you have? You have to tell me what you what we stepping out for. >> Hey bud, put your hands on your uh put your hands on your lap for me. Put your hands on your lap. >> I can see his other hand. >> Got it. >> I can see it. Yeah. We stepping out to >> nothing on this side. >> Tell me. You have to tell me why we stepping out. Now I'm going to start the car. Cuz if you touch me, I swear to God. DO NOT OPEN MY DOOR. Don't open my door. Don't Don't open my door. >> Do not open my door. Do not open my If you break my car, you're going to you're going to see about this, bro. >> But you you have to tell me. Stop touching me. Do not touch me. Do not touch me. Can you get her seat belt? Cut it. >> What? Record this [ __ ] cuz I'm I'm I'm telling you like that taking me out for no tell [ __ ] You can get out the car. >> No, you don't. That's not how [ __ ] work. >> Oh my [ __ ] not have no insurance. He not have no insurance. Please, I'm telling you, >> LET GO MY LEG. HOW THE [ __ ] I'M SUPPOSED TO GET OUT OF YOU? >> GET [screaming] OUT OF THE CAR. >> MY LEG GO, [ __ ] WHAT THE WRONG Y'ALL? >> GET OUT OF THE CAR RIGHT NOW. >> I'M TELLING YOU. >> TURN AROUND. PUT YOUR hands [ __ ] off. >> By now, this is no longer just a speeding stop. The situation has turned into full-blown chaos with her as the center of it. While she shouts about being touched, the officers are simply carrying out an arrest procedure. >> You see that? You >> maybe cooperate a little bit. >> I'm not doing >> Get her back there so I can see this passenger. >> YOU SEE THAT? >> NO, I'M NOT. I'M NOT doing got all this. He got all this. And I'm telling you, >> what's your name? >> HEY, JEFF. GET THAT GET THAT NAME AND BADGE NUMBER, BRO. YOU GOING DOWN AND YOUR CARD. OKAY. >> And boss, >> just keep your hands right when you got them. Okay. >> That's fine. >> I'm going to be out. >> Shut up. >> And I'm going to be out. I'm going to jail for what? Come on. Y'all want some weird? >> You checked her? Nope. >> Y'all can't touch me. Oh, girl. You want to take another pass? >> YOU CAN'T TOUCH ME. I'M A GIRL. I'M A GIRL. You touch me. I'm a I'm a girl. You see a >> What's in your pocket? >> What's in your pocket? >> I'm a girl. I'm a girl. I'm a girl. I DON'T HAVE NO WEAPONS. And you all in my pocket. Oh, he touch. I'M A GIRL. YOU'RE NOT EVEN supposed to be in my pocket. You're not supposed to be on it. might not have swap sides. >> Swap sides with me. >> I'm a girl. We just right now. >> All right. That's all. >> I'm a girl and he over here TOUCHING ME ALL IN MY POCKETS AND [ __ ] >> PULLING my pants and [ __ ] I'm a girl. >> She going to back my car. >> Being a woman doesn't grant immunity from traffic laws. Speeding, [music] refusing lawful commands, and then shifting into the role of the victim when things don't go your way. That's exactly what's playing out here. >> All because no one listening. They didn't tell me nothing. I don't even know why I'm going to jail. We on your >> THEY DIDN'T EVEN SAY THAT. They didn't say NONE OF THAT. I DRIP dripping oak woke the whole [ __ ] time. Cuz my mom was drip. Her name on my phone. >> Can I speak to a sergeant? >> Hold on. Back her up right here. >> That was a sergeant. Back her up a little bit. Back her up a little bit. Pull her back. Let me get this seat belt. [snorts] >> Like y'all doing both OF Y'ALL WEIGH 10 TIMES MORE THAN ME. And he got all that on court. We going to definitely cause an issue. I'm definitely an issue. And I'm a veteran. We going to definitely cause a [ __ ] issue. >> Okay. >> Yeah. We going to cause issue cuz he GOT ALL THAT ON COURT. Y'ALL Y'ALL WEAK AS TRYING a girl like that. Weak as real talk. >> Okay. >> Weak as Okay. I guess she got pulled over. >> In the end, the woman is taken to jail and faces several charges, including speeding, three counts of resisting arrest, and obstructing a law enforcement officer. What do you think about her repeatedly insisting, "I'm a girl." while aggressively resisting the officers. Does being a woman automatically mean you should get special treatment? But the chaos isn't over yet because the final story turns into a full-blown chase. On February 13th, 2025 in New Mexico, the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office received multiple calls about a driver behaving erratically on the road. A deputy quickly located the vehicle and initiated [music] a traffic stop. And here's what actually happened next. Warning is dramping. All units temp for 17. All units temping for 17. >> I'm going to TASE YOU. STOP. STOP RIGHT THERE. STOP. >> You're going to get chased. Stop. >> Please. Please. >> Okay. Ow. >> Why you running? >> Sit up. Please help me. >> What? Sit down. >> Please help me. I'm 104. I'm on County Road 109. I'll give you the address here in a little bit. Stand by. I'm sir. >> Stand up. >> [ __ ] up. >> What's your name? >> Crystal Hill. >> Please. I can't. >> Oh my god. >> Standby. Is this car with you? Oh. >> All right. Stand up. I need to figure out what address this is. >> Let's go walk to the end of the fence. Come on. Stand up. Let's go to the end of the fence. >> Most people, when they realize they're in trouble, pull over and deal with it. Crystal had a different plan. A full sprint through barbed wire fences. Within minutes, both the suspect and the deputy were already gasping for breath. >> What's the numeric here? >> 917. [snorts] >> We got the same call. When I call your >> go ahead to put her in my car. >> Tell me when we take her over there. >> Yeah. >> We're going to be at 18. >> Correction number two. >> Can you uh send me a 55 for a 35year-old female conscious and breathing? I think she's revoked. We ran her before. [snorts] >> Yeah, they gave us a call. They were throwing stuff out of the truck. >> I think it was the bed of the truck. So when she was coming south, uh right as our our call came in, I was in the area and uh I saw her leave. She was on the right lane. She left onto the shoulder, swerved back. So right away, I was like, "That has to be it." And sure enough, when she saw me behind her with the lights, took it and left the car over there and took off running. Hey Crystal, I'm going to read something to you. Okay. >> You have the right to remain silent. >> Anything you say will be against you. You have the right to have him with you while you question. If you find a lawyer, get to any question if you wish. You can start anytime right. >> Do you understand each of these rights? >> Yes or no? >> Yes, I do. >> Where are you coming from? >> La, you want to you want to sit up? You want to stay laying down? >> All right. >> You want to stay laying down? >> Yeah, please. >> Where were you heading to? >> I'm trying to get out of town. >> You were trying to get out of town? >> Yeah, I can't. >> Is that your vehicle? >> Yes, we do. >> All right, let me sit you up real quick. Just check the other side. Then you can lay down if you want to lay down. >> No, she was going under them. I couldn't. I was having to go in between them and over. >> She was tiny. >> Get over that one. Those dogs didn't get you. I'm surprised. >> No, I I dude I heard him barking and I was just I was gone. >> After that little sprint, Crystal decides it might be a good time to lie down and catch her breath. Apparently, she realized running burns calories, but it doesn't make an active warrant disappear. >> The truck isn't stolen, is it? >> No. No, it's fine. >> You just didn't want to You just didn't want to stop. >> I don't want to go to jail. >> And that's why you ran. So, you saw me behind you with my lights and my sirens. >> Oh, of course. >> And you didn't want to stop. >> I'm sorry. I just didn't want to go to jail. But, thank you for noting or shooting. >> You need help getting up? >> Yeah, please. >> Put your feet put your legs down. >> Ankles are hurting me. Oh my god. >> You mind if we put you in the back of the unit so we can go down and drive to my car? >> No, I don't mind. >> All right, stand up. >> Okay. >> Yep. Stand up. >> All right. Everything's following. >> Have a seat. >> Hi. >> I'm going to walk you over there. All right. 17. >> Go ahead. >> That 41 is going to be 1012 in the back of his unit. The back of unit. Oh, did she crash? >> Yeah. >> So, I think she uh it looked like she was like losing. Maybe she had a blowout. Maybe. I don't know. Or something cuz either that or she's impaired because she could not. >> Let's do a crash. Um >> looks like she might have wound a warrant. >> Yeah. Okay. Yeah, dude. So, right as the car came out, I was driving north and uh everybody was standing behind her and I seen the freaking Tacoma Tacoma. I saw it and she was in the far right lane and she went off onto the shoulder, swerved back and I was like, "Oh, that has to be it." So, I freaking got into the median. I hit my lights, booked it, she took off. So, I had my lights, my sirens. I came over here. Uh I saw that she wanted to turn somewhere >> and then she turned in here and I was like, "Oh, cornered her at a house." Literally when she crashed, took off, bolt it, and I I didn't even see my address, so I freaking started chasing her all the way down there. And uh she's so small, she was going under the fences, and I was like, "Crap." So, I was having to go in between them, and she was just gasping finally. >> The truth is, Crystal wasn't running for exercise. She ran because she knew exactly what stopping would mean. But no matter how the story played out, the handcuffs were always going to be part of the ending. At that point, she also seemed to realize that not getting shot was actually the lucky outcome. >> She may have even when I told her that she swerved, I thought I saw something fly out. I couldn't I could be wrong. Whatever. But >> yeah, I got here and I There's nobody there. >> Yeah, these dogs. Yeah, these ones are these ones you're talking about, bro. >> Yeah, dude. I uh I jumped over. They were barking. I was like, "Oh, I just >> I thought you were back over here." So, I jumped that fence and I heard dogs like jump right. I was like, "If you back there, man, >> seven on two >> on overtime, dude. What's the foreigner bond? >> No bond for driving while license revoked DUI related traffic control device and 107. They just pulled up or >> Oh yeah, like a couple times. It was when she was going through the fences. >> You want her check out? >> Yeah, just and then I'll if I have to take her to the hospital, I'll take her and then I'll take her to jail. She's in custody. >> Yeah. She was quick, dude. [laughter] >> Quick little cardio. >> Yeah, she was going right under them. I was like, a like, why you running? Cuz I don't want to go to jail. I uh I wasn't expecting her to get out. I thought it was going to be like some dude or something. And then I see I see like a little kid and I was like, what? I got to take the hospital anyways to get clear. >> Anything else? No, I just wanted to get her checked out before I transported her just to >> All her vitals are all good. >> Appreciate it. Thank you guys. No problem. >> All right, Crystal, we're going to take you on. We're going to put you in the back of my my car. So, I need you to sit normal. Wait, >> step up. >> Okay. Can you put on my shoes? >> Just put your shoes on the on the floor and let her put them on. >> What the >> Oh, jeez. I guess >> all those weeds you went through. >> I think Damn. I just didn't want to go. >> Just minutes earlier, she had been jumping over barbed wire fences. Now, even putting her shoes back on seems like a challenge. The game is [music] over, and the next bills usually come from the towyard and the courthouse. >> Huh? >> Can you put them in my sock? >> No. Appreciate it. Thank you. >> Thank you. >> Bye. >> We're going to go this way. >> Okay. Thank you. You, too. My truck. >> It's going to get towed. You want to see? I'm gonna let you have somebody come pick it up after you just run for me. Come on. >> I told you. I'm sorry. >> I'm gonna take you to the hospital. So, I'm gonna take you to You have a preference? >> You want to go to St. Vincent's or do you want to go to uh >> Yeah, St. Vincent >> or Presbyterian? >> St. Vincent. >> St. Vincent, right? >> Damn, you took a nice little run. >> I know. That's why I was like, let me just lay here. Please let me. I was like, "Oh my god, I had it run like that in a minute." Oh, those wings are kicking in now. >> Are you going to give me that charge? >> What charge? >> A fleeing, >> please. Please. >> I have four cases against me. I'm so sorry. That's why I didn't want to go. The regret doesn't appear to come from realizing she did something wrong, but from the growing fear of stacked charges. The woman is eventually transported to the Santa Fe County Jail, facing charges including evading arrest, reckless driving, and driving on a revoked license. With the charges piling up, the potential penalties could reach up to $5,000 in fines, and 9 months in jail. On March 1st, 2024, police pulled over a silver car after multiple reports said the driver was drunk and nearly caused a crash. But when they got closer, they spotted something worse. A baby in the back seat with no car seat. [music] From that moment, everything spiraled out of control. >> They're assigned to another call. We have a unit coming from the city. >> Is there any reason you have a newborn infant not in the car seat? >> She she was in Hey, put the put the kid down. Put the kid down. Put Put the kid down. >> Put her down. >> You had no permission. >> Put her down. >> Put the child down. >> 197. Give us traffic. >> You had no permission. >> Put the child down. >> No permission. >> She's holding a child. Refusing to give the child up. She's clearly single one. Put the child down. >> Hey. Hey, sir. >> Put the child down. >> Tell you right here, right now, right there, her car seat got so >> Put the child down, ma'am. Ma'am, put the child down. >> It's not Hey, what you're doing right now is illegal. Okay, y'all have said nothing to me. >> Okay, we're asking you to put the baby down so we can talk. >> You're asking me. That's That's very illegal, bro. >> Ma'am, you're right now. You're right. >> Y'all going to piss me off. >> You're under arrest. Get out of the car. >> Put the child down. >> I'm not under arrest. >> You are. >> No, I'm not. How am I under child? Ma'am, you're under arrest for resisting without violence. Put the baby down. >> Put the baby down. >> For real. You're being pulled over for a possibility of driving under the influence. And now we're asking, right? Okay. Now, now I'm asking you to Hold on. Hold on. >> No, you aren't in charge of this. Put the baby down. >> But I am. >> You're not. Put the baby step out for >> Yes, I am. >> Put the child down there. >> Down in the seat next to you. >> Because I have kids. Okay. >> Set the baby right here. >> Stop touching [ __ ] in my car. >> Put the baby down. >> I have you. I have gave you no, >> man. You're under arrest. You need to put the baby down. Stop reaching in the bag. >> In that bag. >> I'm not. I'm going right here. You're not here. Get off your phone. >> That's my phone. Can I see my phone? >> No, ma'am. Put the baby down. >> Yes, I can. Yes, I can. Hey, >> put the baby down. >> Hey, calm down. >> Put her down. Hey, man. >> Give me your Give me your baby. >> Give me your baby. >> Get your um get your hands on my car. >> PUT THAT BABY DOWN. >> HEY, SOMEBODY PUT THAT PHONE DOWN. >> PUT THE BABY DOWN. GIVE ME THE BABY. Give me the baby. >> Give me Hey, put the baby. >> Stop. >> Please. Please, mama. Oh, no. Please, mama. >> No. >> Stop. >> Put the baby. >> All she had to do was put the baby down. But she didn't. [music] That one choice sent everything off the rails. She held the child tight, as if that could stop the arrest. But nothing hits harder than watching a mother use her child as a shield instead of protection. >> PUT THE PHOTO. >> Stop yelling. >> NO. Somebody put the photo right here, bro. That's cool. That's fun, bro. >> You're going to jail for resisting without violence child neglect. >> Hey, I ain't did nothing to resist you, bro. You pulled me out my car. >> They got you on that on the camera over the vehicle. >> Don't do none of that [ __ ] >> You got someone we can call to come take your child cuz you're >> Hey, SOMEBODY CALL MY DADDY. >> HEY, CHRIS. ANDREA, this vehicle IN THE VEHICLE, >> GET IN THE VEHICLE. HEY, >> GET IN THE VEHICLE. >> BRO, GET IN the vehicle. >> OH, NO. WHY DO YOU LIKE THIS, BRO? Y'ALL PUT YOUR HANDS ON ME, BRO. HEY, I need a red apple. Do >> you know her? My boss want everybody to stay back. Pass this car, please. What's going on? >> Just a traffic stop. >> Why take all this for a traffic stop? >> Cuz it got out of control. >> Man, when you say it got out of control, what do you mean? >> Listen, man. I'm telling you, get back. You're You're in the middle of the road. >> Pass this car. >> Get behind the car. Get behind the car. >> Don't Don't come bullying me because I'm not bullying you, man. I'm cursing over and you act like this. >> I just got here. I didn't pull anybody up. Well, you walked up to me like I didn't committed a crime. >> No, I didn't. I'm doing exactly what my boss told me to do. People back off to tell you quit walking up on me like that. >> You walked up here >> and I got the right. Who? What? What? I can't walk through here. Do you have crime scene up here? >> I don't need crime scene up. >> Well, you don't need to walk up on me like that. >> You're walking up on us. >> I'm not walking up on you. I'm walking down the street. You walked up to me. >> I walked up to walked up to you. >> Yes. And I as I now start asking you questions and you didn't like that. >> I don't care if you ask question. You can ask question. >> Well, apparently you do. Don't approach me like I'm nobody. I got just as much right to walk down this street uh uh like I want to. You don't have no kind of crime scene up. >> Then came the self-proclaimed bystander hero just trying to check things out. His curiosity turned into confrontation within minutes. What started small escalated fast and he ended up proving exactly what cops already knew. Ignorance and ego are a dangerous mix. >> So where are you headed right now? >> I was going to Baghdad to see somebody that I talked to. >> To see who? >> Someone that I talked to. >> Someone you talk to. Okay. >> Wesley. Who can uh come take care of the baby? I'm trying to get Z. >> Who's Zeke Watson? >> Zeke Watson. >> Yes. >> Is it Ezekiel or Zeke? >> It's Zeke. >> Spell it for me. >> Can I call him off my phone real quick to come get >> Do you know his number off off head? >> No, it's my mom's cell phone. I was trying to get Yes. >> No. Why? >> [ __ ] That's cuz they're dead. Dumb ass. at Thomas like what did I do? It's like she was in her booster seat. You know, >> she has to be in a car seat. You're also driving >> her booster seat. She's in less than a month. >> Yeah, booster seats know until they're four. >> Oh, it says they're one years old. >> Maybe you're not correct on that. I'll print the law out for you if you would like. >> How am I supposed to know that? No, that's not your responsibility. >> I don't deserve to be charged with that. No, I'll do my best for my kids. I do not deserve to be told you that. That's up. That is messed up. I did not know that. She's >> even in there. She's not wanting to know the law. >> Even in her own car seat, she said, you know, she's not a newborn. >> She claimed she was doing what's best for her child, but the law didn't see it that way. a booster seat isn't meant for a newborn. And that lack of knowledge made the situation far worse. When officers explained it, she snapped back saying they were overreacting and that there are way worse people out there. >> I really didn't fight y'all or anything at all. Um there's way worse situations that go on. So y'all didn't have to do like that. I was not ready my >> I was thrown on the ground. I snatched out of my arms. I did not have a breathalyzer in my mouth at all and I was downstairs, >> you know. So, I'm glad that the camera's right there. That way, everything is on on record. >> So, they'll get there. >> I'm not requesting you submit to a lawful test of your breath for the purpose of determining it alcohol content. Will you submit to >> a lawful test of your best breath for the purpose of going to have to decline that because of that. They're supposed to do that at the um at the um location of the car. >> I need to read you something. >> Y'all were supposed to do that at the location of the car. So, y'all should have done that at the location of the car. So, so y'all didn't do that as soon as you pull me over. I'm going to have to rewind that. >> If you refuse to submit to the breath test, >> that's fine. You're supposed to do that as soon as you pull me over and that you expect that I'm drinking. So, since you do not, I'm going to have to decline that. >> I got to read this to you. If you refuse to submit to the test of your breath, I have requested your driving privilege is suspended for a period of 1 year if it's your first refusal or 18 or 18 months if you have a prior refusal. >> Robert, you're supposed to do that too soon. >> Additionally, if you have any refusal to submit the test, >> you'll be committing an additional misdemeanor. >> How? If you have any prior refusals to submit the test, >> as soon as somebody pulls me over and expect that I have a DUI, you're supposed to on site give me a breathalyzer. Nobody gave me no breathalyzer on the on the scene. They literally pulled me out of my car out of my arms, put me on the ground, and um yeah, put me in the backseat of the car and other than that, nothing else was done. Instead of taking responsibility, she accused the police of breaking procedure. Rather than admit she didn't know the law, she tried flipping the script, using her own mistakes as evidence against them. It's a classic defense. When you can't win with reason, blame the system. >> Refused one. I was never given the chance to have one. >> So, I never refused one. I never g I never had the chance to have one. >> Okay, let's just put that on. >> Refuse to listen to the testing can be used as a CD. I never >> Do you understand that I never refused it? I never had the chance to do it. >> You understand everything I just said to you? >> Do you understand? I never refused or I never had the chance to do a refusing. >> Nobody ever gave me the chance to do it. >> Well, that's what I'm doing right now. >> They should have gave me that at the scene because I've been sitting here for an hour. So, my breath could be down if I was drinking alcohol. You know, you should do it right there on the scene. I feel like y'all are not being very um professional about things right now. >> Reported us like that. So >> So the the the the officer that pulled me over should have gave me a breathalyzer right there. If he wanted to pull me over for a DUI, he should have gave me a breathalyzer right there, which he did not. So we're not going to do all that. We ain't going to do that. >> I don't know. >> I never do your brain rights. You have the right to remain silent. You're supposed to do that. you that brought me here. >> You have the right to an attorney. If you're not for an attorney, one will be appointed to represent you before or during any question for your charge if you wish. >> You decide at any time to not answer any questions, make any statements. If you start, you can also stop. Do you understand all those rights I've read to you? >> Uh yes, sir. >> Okay. Having those >> What time is this? >> Having those rights in mind, do you wish to speak? What time is it? >> Do you wish to speak with me? >> Yes. >> Okay. Did he wish to answer any questions? >> No, I'm I'm I'm wishing to ask what time is it right now. >> It is 12:35. >> All right. Thank you. And you said that camera's on right there. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Even though the light is on red. >> Yeah, the red means it's on. >> All right. Cool. Thank you. >> You said 12:35. >> 35. >> 12:35. So, you're just now reading me my lights after you have me. Okay. >> That's perfect. You wish to answer. That's why I had No, I I don't need to answer this one. >> Okay. Thank you. That's all I had to ask. >> In the end, she was arrested and charged with DUI with a child in the vehicle, child neglect, and resisting without violence. If convicted, the fines alone could reach up to $11,000, and her refusal to take a breath test would automatically suspend her license for a year, alcohol, excuses, and bad decisions.
