Yes or no? >> Yes or no? Are you prepared to spend the rest of the night in jail? >> Huh? >> Okay, break the window and take her out. >> When a Karen takes the wheel, traffic laws fade into background noise and ego takes control, steering straight into chaos. OKAY. OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. >> From calm stops to full-blown meltdowns, every I know my rights moment shares one ending. Flashing lights, cold cuffs, and a hard lesson learned. >> Put the car in park. PUT THE CAR IN PARK. Put the CAR IN PARK NOW. On February 25th, 2025 in Tiger Point, Florida, what started as a routine traffic stop turned into a showdown no one saw coming between police and a periodontist. From the very first minute, things [music] began spiraling off course. And here's how it really went down. >> Not at this moment. >> Good afternoon. >> Hey. >> Hey, Colonel. You want to roll your window down? No. >> Why not? >> Why are you detaining me? >> I'm not detaining you, Colonel. I'm stopping you for doing 63 mph in a 40 mph zone. >> I need your driver's license, your insurance, and your registration. >> Do you have proof of the speed? >> Yes, I do. It's on my radar, ma'am. >> May I see it? >> No, you may not. >> 227. Send me another unit. I need your driver's license, your insurance, and your registration. I would like to see your supervisor. >> 227. Can you send me a supervisor? >> I need your license, insurance, and registration. >> When your supervisor comes, sir. >> You also don't have a seat belt on. Hey, it's a lieutenant colonel. I had her doing 73 down there and then in the 40 I had her doing 63. She sat at the green turn signal and she's refusing to roll her window down and provide any documentation and I I figured why not get you here before I rip her out of a car. Did you want to talk to her before I get her out? >> Yeah, let's try. >> Okay. No, she didn't. But it's on the 14th from the register gable. >> Yes. >> Are you going to roll your window down all the way? >> No. Can you hear me? >> Can't problem. >> I don't know. Your officer stopped. You want to see the radar? >> You stopped short. Well, if you want to see the radar, you have to step out of the vehicle so you can see it. It's not a handheld device. >> I don't have to step out. >> You do by Florida law. So, I'm not going to argue with you. What's going to happen is you're either going to roll the window down and cooperate from here on out. >> What are you detaining? >> Or right now you're impinged an investigation. >> I'm investigating for what? >> For a traffic violation. >> What was the traffic violation? >> I already explained to you, ma'am. You're doing 63 and a 40 mph construction zone. >> I'm just going to tell you what's going to happen. So, either you cooperate from here on out or we're going to break the window and pull you out of the vehicle and you're going to go to jail. It's that simple. Have you ever met someone who thinks their title or rank can get them out of any mess? That's Colonel Karen. She truly believed her military rank made her untouchable until reality hit her harder than she expected. >> So, I'm asking you one more time. Are you going to cooperate or these are they going to have to take you to jail? >> Why are you taken to jail? >> Because you're not cooperating. It's just that simple. >> You're not cooperating. It's not crime. >> Okay. But are you you're refusing to provide all the documentation that you want that you you're supposed to provide? Okay. Okay. But United States Supreme Court says that you that we can have you step out of the vehicle during any traffic violation, during any investigation. So, you are violating the law. So, you can argue with me all you want. In the end, you are incorrect and you are wrong. Whatever you learned on the internet, look is all incorrect. Yes or no? Yes or no? Are you prepared to spend the rest of the night in jail? No. >> Huh? >> Okay. Break the window and take her out. HEY, >> ARE YOU cut my face and you took my glasses. >> Watch my glasses. Sir, >> you going to stay here and be nice. >> Sir, my glasses. And you >> right there. >> They're right behind you. >> Okay. >> There's glass in >> my eye. We've got an ambulance coming >> and there is no crime. >> Oh yeah. Oh yeah. >> You will be getting sued and if there is injury and scarring to my eye, you're going to be sued, sir, and you're going to lose your job. >> It's okay. Ask for rotation. >> Yep. >> You did? >> No. No. You can't. >> How many of you are Brotherhood members? >> The hell is that? >> You Freemason? >> Nope. >> You sure? >> Absolutely. >> How about you? >> Nope. >> What's your name? >> Deputy Case. >> The shock and fury on her face as officers pulled her out of the car said it all. She even threatened to sue the entire system, ranting about Freemasons and Brotherhoods, as if some grand conspiracy was to blame. Maybe that was just her last attempt to feel in control when everything else slipped away. >> Yeah, I got you. I'm almost positive she might be under the influence of something. Just there's no way. Shame. It's a nice car. Doing a vehicle inventory. >> Yeah, she has a whole bunch of cash right here. >> Whole bunch of what? 50s 20s. >> Okay. >> She got her seats on. >> Let's go ask her. I don't want to touch. >> Are you a part of a booster club or >> No, sir. >> I want to make sure this goes with you so you don't lose any of it. Okay. >> Is this all there was that was in there? >> This Most people don't roll around with this kind of cash. >> Sorry. I can't even see what you're doing. You're okay. I've got several stacks of money. >> We're inventorying your vehicle. Are you like a booster club president or >> No, sir. That's my >> Okay. All right. We're going to make sure this goes with you. Okay. And it'll be accounted for. >> My phone, please. >> Are you wanting to go to the hospital? >> I would like to so that the eye can be checked out. May I have my phone, please? Not right now. It'll go with you when you go. >> No, I would like my phone. I have a right to contact. >> That's not how it works. >> That is how it works. >> Now, look, this is how you ended yourself in handcuffs. >> Right to contact. Not when you are under arrest. I have a right to contact during arrest. When you get to the jail, >> when you get to the jail, you I would like a phone. For now, we're going to get an ambulance and get your eye check. I would like my phone to contact those to contact. Well, they'll allow you to get phone numbers out of it when you get to the jail to make yours. >> Ma'am, I'd like my phone. >> That's not going to happen. >> Once she was out from behind the wheel, every bit of power she thought she had vanished. She kept demanding to call her lawyer, her commander, anyone who might save her. But the truth is, everyone answers to the same law. And this time, she wasn't above it. We're going to count this money in front of you so you can be sure that we're not taking it to want your money. I don't need >> sir. You've already violated search because you're searching and seizure without any cause. >> Anything illegal on you? >> No. >> Okay. You just have a shirt underneath here. >> Okay. >> Anybody want to give me a bag closet? Um, we got that plastic black bag with her glasses. Thank you. >> We got it. Oh, more cash. >> Okay, that's going straight from pocket into the plastic bag. >> Have my phone to make contact with all of that. >> What is that? What is this? >> That is probably an instrument. >> Yeah. Matt, you see that? Hold on. No, ma'am. May I have my phone to make contact with my commander? >> You can make contact. >> If you want to just go to jail and get checked out by medical there and make your phone call, then you can do that. >> The command post and contact my commander, please. >> Can you contact the command post and contact this? >> Sir, you need to do it now. No, I don't. >> Stop. >> You do work for me. >> You're a sheriff of the county, aren't you? >> But she said that sheriff I know the county does. >> Do you have the ability to give me my phone so that I can make contact? >> You still need >> I'm good right now. >> An inventory of her belongings was done publicly. Standard procedure to protect both officers and the suspect. Even in cuffs, she kept repeating her hopeless requests, her pride cracking right before our eyes. After a medical check, she was transported to the station for booking. >> Michelle, I'm going to request that you submit to a lawful test of urine for the purposes of determining the presence of chemical or controlled substances. Will you take the test? >> No. >> No. Okay. If you refuse to take the test that I've requested of you, your driving privileges will be suspended for a period of 1 year for a first refusal or 18 months if your driving privileges have been previously suspended for refusing to submit to a lawful test of your breath, urine, or blood. Additionally, if you refuse to take the test that I've requested of you and your driving privileges have been previously suspended for a refusal to submit to a lawful test of your breath, blood, or urine, you will be committing a misdemeanor in addition to any other penalties which can be imposed by law. Refusal to submit to the test that I'm requesting from you is admissible into evidence in any criminal proceeding. Do you still refuse to submit to the urine test? >> Am I blocked from driving you >> because I don't take a urine test? >> Your license will be suspended for a period of 12 months >> if it was previously suspended. >> No, no, no. It's 18 months if it was previously suspended. You can read it. It's right there. Well, without representation, I don't know how to answer this. >> It's It's real. So, here's the thing. When you get issued a driver's license, you have to sign for it. It's called implied consent. >> And when you sign that, it basically says, "Hey, I agree to supply blood, breath, or urine as a part of lawful investigation," which is what this is. So, >> it's unlawful investigation, but go ahead. >> Okay. So, do you refuse to take the test or not? I don't understand the instructions. >> Okay. I'm requesting you take a urine test. We have these lovely little things here. >> I'm asking you specifically is by refusing this. I've actually taken two of these just last week. >> Okay. >> Okay. On base. Refusing with you to do this. >> Correct. >> Does that mean I can't drive a car? >> Yeah. Your license will be suspended. Now that this is the first time, right, you'll get a 10day um what do you call it? And then where is this tested? >> FDLE, Florida Department of Law Enforcement actually gets shipped out. >> So it leaves everybody's hands and then goes >> Yeah. It gets taped up. It goes into a refrigerator and our evidence. >> Then they get it out and it gets shipped to FDLE. >> I really trust that with what's happened tonight so far. And not doing this means I can't drive a car. >> Correct. You your driving, like I said, your driving privileges will be suspended >> in the end. Lieutenant Colonel Michelle Bonjiovi, 59, had most of her charges dropped except for a few misdemeanors like DUI, failure to obey a lawful order, and the initial speeding violation. It was her first offense, and she got off lightly. But her reputation, that's a stain no court can erase. When arrogance finally falls, another Karen always seems to rise. Angrier, louder, and just as blind to the lesson. On April 13th, 2024 in Washington, police tried to pull over a speeding driver, but instead of stopping, she kept going for eight full blocks. One small decision opened the door to a storm [music] of bigger problems. And here's how it all unfolded. Hi there, my name's Officer Hake. Just to let you know, the traffic stops being recorded. The reason why I'm stopping you is for speed. 48 and a 35. Not only that, I really strongly believe you're just not paying attention because >> I'm sorry my I'm sorry my father my father's in the VA right now and and I just >> Well, we went about eight blocks with my lights on and you never even pulled over. >> I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm listening to this. I'm so sorry. Why didn't you make a sound? I'm not >> Because you weren't stopping. That's the reason why. >> Oh, well, I didn't hear. We went eight blocks. >> I didn't see any lights. I I didn't >> It just means you're not paying attention. >> Ma'am, I can't hear you with this window halfway rolled up. >> Steing actually become a crime. >> It's an infraction. It becomes a crime when you don't provide your license, registration, and proof of insurance. Ma'am, how many more times am I going to have to ask for this? May I see your license, registration, and proof of insurance? Please stop. You are required to provide your license, your registration, and your proof of insurance. I've explained the reason for the stop. I've requested the required documentation, and you're refusing to provide that, ma'am. Is there a reason? >> I don't know. >> You don't contract with the state of Washington. Do you have a driver's license? >> I'm I I'm with the planetary federal postal judge. I'm a service processor and a >> You're a what? >> Service processor. And >> service processor. What's that got to do with providing your license, registration, and proof of insurance, ma'am? >> Consecution and judicial notice, sir. And um I'm I'm I'm sure your your sergeant can come in and >> Oh, he's already in route, ma'am. >> Thank you. Thank you. >> When reality clashes with illusion, some people cling to whatever lie makes them feel powerful. This Karen hid behind the delusion of being a sovereign citizen. Even as more officers arrived, she clung to her imaginary authority, convinced she could talk her way out of the law itself. >> Can you guys get Janine on? >> No, ma'am. >> Step on out of the car. You're under arrest. >> No, I'm not. >> Step on out of the car. >> Step on out of the car. >> Do it now. >> Do it now or I'll break this window. >> Step on out of the car. You're under arrest. Step on out of the car. You're under arrest. Step on out of the car. >> You're under arrest. >> Can you please Can you please >> step on out of the car? You're under arrest. >> They You don't >> under arrest for obstruction at this point. >> It won't make it to court. >> Yes, it is. >> No, it won't make it to court. It won't make it to court. You guys, I I I assure you, you don't want to do this. I'm I'm with the federal postal courts, okay? I am serving the judicial notice in global constitution to the world and this is not correct. This is not what >> you're being recorded ma'am. Everything's being recorded. All your statements are being step on out of the car. >> Is this your um is this your >> Are you going to step out of the car? >> Supervisor. >> Ma'am, are you stepping out of the car? >> Which one is the supervisor? Sir, >> are you going to step out of the car? >> Supervisor. He's not here yet. >> Okay, they will wait for the supervisor. Do not wait. You don't want to break my window, sir. >> I will here in a second if you don't get out of the car. If your supervisor gets here, he will let you know you cannot break my window. >> Oh, I doubt that. >> You're being recorded and you can face. >> Yes, you are being recorded. >> Everything's being recorded. >> Yes, we we know. >> Yeah, we know. >> We know. We know. We highly know this. >> 61 ETA necromancy and trying to put me in jail. >> Well, you are going to jail. >> You're under arrest at this point, ma'am. >> I'm a free man. I'm a free woman. I'm not a cop. I'm not a corporation. You can't contract with me. I am a free woman, a blood, flesh, breathing woman. I don't >> Okay, I'm not disputing that, but you are under arrest. >> Your supervisor will tell you different, sir. >> Her defiance only made things worse. Despite clear orders and warnings, she kept arguing, refusing to comply, trapped in her own twisted version of legal logic. That illusion shattered fast, replaced by the cold truth of handcuffs and consequence. >> She refused to provide identification, registration, proof of insurance. Okay. >> I'm not a cooperation. >> Okay. So, I'm going to tell you this right now. You're going to get out of the car and we're going to pull you out of the car by force. >> He just said he just said I'm He's going to pull me out of the car. >> A living woman. >> A living woman. And this is treason, sir. >> Nope. It's a traffic stop under revised Code of Washington, Title 46. >> Are you going to step out of the vehicle or are you going to be taken out by force? >> I I haven't done anything. Sir, can you please don't? Please don't. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Step out of the car. Do it now. >> Step out of the car. Do it now. >> Step out. OH MY GOD. OH MY [ __ ] GOD. OH MY GOD. OKAY. OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. STOP IT. Stop [screaming] it. We're getting down. >> They're on the way. >> Coming. I can't believe it. >> Perfect. I was looking for >> Please help me. Give you some water. You need to breathe. >> Grand's going to give you some water. >> Please. >> Oh my god. >> I can't breathe. >> Look up. >> Look up. >> Open your eyes. Open your eyes. >> Open your eyes. >> Open your eyes so we can get in there and rinse out your eyes. Okay. >> Yeah. >> Stop. Stop. >> OH MY GOD. >> Sit down. Sit down. >> I NEED MORE WATER. >> Then stay still. Stop moving so you can get drinks. >> Okay, stop moving. >> I can't breathe. >> Yes, you can. >> Are you seated? >> Please. I can seated. >> This could have all been avoided if you provided your license, registration, and >> if she had just cooperated, none of this would have happened, but she chose to fight instead. When her hollow arguments ran dry, officers followed the law, and her cries of being a victim of the system faded into the sound of cuffs locking. Oh my god. >> I'm going to start. Do we have a ID on her at all? >> Might have to. >> Oh my god. Please. >> Sit down. >> I can't breathe. Please. >> Oh my god. I can't breathe. >> Please take off my side. No, just calm down. Okay. >> Is that better? >> What's that? >> Yeah. Also, seat belt. >> Huh? Also a seat belt violation. Buckles. She was sitting on it. >> I need a breath. Please make it worse if you keep just rolling around like >> I'm going to start the criminal site. >> Please give me some worries. Okay, so don't need too much. We got to start with middle. >> Oh my god. >> Middle name >> with an L. >> Yes. >> Birthday again. >> I know. >> These guys are here to help. Okay. >> Unfortunately, >> the only thing that's going to help is time. >> Please. >> The only thing that's going to help is time. We can help. >> The struggle broke something in her. Pride maybe or illusion. As her resistance drained away, what remained was just a woman trying to salvage the last shred of dignity. Sometimes you've got to hit rock bottom to finally wake up. >> Falling down. Okay. >> Better if he pour some milk on it or something. >> Water and air is what helps. Okay. >> Have you ever been spraying? >> Yes, I have multiple times. >> Yep. >> Can you look up at me? It's going to be a quick picture injuries. Okay. Just look right up towards me. I know it's it's not always easy. Just look in my direction for me. Perfect. >> Thank you. You have any injuries under your hand like that? >> He's going good. >> Got one right there. >> Hold on. Hold on. >> There we go. >> My air so bad, guys. >> I know. I know. >> No. Oh, wait. My father just >> So, we're going to inbound on the vehicle. Can I give you non-compliance with it? >> I can't get my father's car out right now. Please, I can't get my father's car out right this second cuz it's cuz we just died and my brother. Please, can I have my brother come? >> So, no. No, we're not we're not going to do any of that. The reason that is because you turned what was a very simple traffic stop into this entire thing it didn't need to do when you literally just needed to hand ID Do you have insurance on the car? >> Yeah, I I think I'm I'm sure you don't have this. So, it's very simple like speeding ticket, no vowel with ID. Okay. >> And you turn it into an arrest for resisting obstructing. >> I was just I was just asking is also going to be added on. >> I was just asking questions. >> We're not we're not going to do you favoring somebody else in your car. >> My son, can you guys please call my son? >> Three, please. What? Tell him to come my car right now. >> Come on. Let's go. >> I didn't do anything. I didn't do anything. >> Just so you know, everything in the car is audio and video recorded just like you're being recorded right now. >> I didn't do anything. >> All right. Reach across to get your seat belt on. >> No. >> No. All righty. There you go. Can't be happening. I can't I can't. >> In the end, she was charged [music] with speeding, resisting arrest, and obstructing justice for refusing to show her ID and fighting back. If convicted, she could face up to 364 days in jail and a $5,000 fine. But before the dust could even settle, another Karen was already on the radar, ready to keep the chaos going. On July 15th, 2024, police pulled over a car for speeding and a broken license plate light. It should have been a simple stop, but the driver insisted nothing about it was normal. And here's how it all went down. license. One of two things is going to happen. I'm going to ask you one more time for your for your credentials. You're required to identify yourself prior to I explain I'll explain everything to you once you give me everything. If you continue this way, it's not going to work in your favor. I will arrest you. I'm not going to go back and forth with you. So, I'm going to ask you one more time. I need your license, your registration, your proof of insurance. Soon as I get all that information, I'll explain everything to you. I'll explain why I'm stopping. You ever do you are you supposed to when you come to my car? You get back in the car now. When you're supposed to when you come to my car, you're supposed to say hi to me. Whatever it is, you don't step away from me. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Ma'am, you need to stop resisting. >> Are you okay? >> No, I'm not okay. You wouldn't want to start it. I What? >> Have you had anything to drink today? No. >> Are you on any medication? Bro, >> I look like I'm on medication. I come home from I'm coming home from work and I need to pee and you're the first time you come into my car. >> There is no reason to act like this. >> There is a reason. The person come into my car. License resistation. Did I do something wrong to you? No, I did not. >> Stepping out of your vehicle without permission is one of the riskiest things you can do during a stop. But Karen didn't care. She pushed boundaries, ignored safety, and kept questioning the officer until the situation spun completely out of control. you the person you come into my license and registration. >> I'm I'm I'm not guilty at you. I don't if I make a if I make mistake, I don't even [ __ ] know what was mistake. Okay. He was supposed to be like, "Hey, hi. How are you, man?" Whatever it is, and then license, you know what? And then you whatever you come request about me, not the person you come to my car, license, registration, not like that. All right. >> Are you going to stop resisting now? No. >> Listen, this is not going to work out for you. Are you going to stop resisting? >> No. I'm going to double custom. I'm a double lock. If you pull away one more time, man, you're just going to add the charges. It's no big deal. You keep adding charges. You need to let go of the phone. >> You are the one to start. You are the one that everything first pack the first thing come to my car license never stick make me bleed >> you the act you are prime example back >> I appreciate that because come here he's right Hey, first of all though, it's not really how this works though. Just >> you can handle this on the other end, but just because you talk to a super brother doesn't mean it's going to change back. >> I don't care. Hey, here was the wonderful rude person again. Forget him. The person coming to my car. >> I wasn't here. >> License. Of course. I don't know what the [ __ ] was wrong with me. I did I I speeding I did unknownly. I sping. >> This is business. How many land was it? Five, four, five land. Midnight was not midnight. Empty. The row was [ __ ] empty. >> The officer stayed calm, but she lost it. All because he didn't greet her first. Maybe she was having a bad day, but taking it out on law enforcement was a huge mistake. A small misunderstanding turned into one very big problem. >> Means, you know, never resist. Of course, I would with that attitude. I was asking what was the reason? What was the reason? simply ad that oh you know like and then he he show his authority to me did I do something wrong did I >> I don't know >> [ __ ] [ __ ] come here your supervisor come here >> it's not going to change >> why did why why did he arrest you >> you ask him >> I mean but but what did he say >> you asked him and then I then I come here I told him that's not you are I'm sorry I'm [ __ ] sorry like you guys are so servant servant of people and again >> I'm not I didn't do nothing for you. I I don't usually No, no. I just open my car, come to [laughter] him to him, tell him and I said, >> did you uh did did you not give him your license? Is that why? >> I gave him his license. He come here, [laughter] give me ticket, whatever it is. And I come to here to tell him what he stopped me. I make I I speed only my car. The person come into my car was license registration. License registration. No, actually the first time one time. Of course, I don't know. I did wrong. Wrong. No. Say hi. What? whatever it is you know and then like can you give me your license and resist no more cowboy something like that first what my window license so of course I don't know what did you do wrong what was the reason and then he he show me her his story oh you HAVE TO YOU HAVE to give me your license otherwise you you receive whatever it is >> again >> why you screaming yelling at him from the very beginning >> hey one start what are you talking out. License registration. That's why. >> No. Did he say he didn't? >> Why'd you get out of the car and start running out of court? You're lucky you didn't get shot. >> I would have shot you. You're lucky he didn't shoot you. >> In reality, the officer had every right to draw his weapon. Anyone who steps out and walks toward police can be seen as a threat. The endless back and forth became exhausting to watch as her stubborn arguments drowned out every reasonable explanation the officer gave. You're not complying. >> That's why you're in handcuffs going to jail. >> I want you to know how your police officer is. He was >> It's all on camera. >> I'll have I'll have you screaming on camera, too, and being out of control. That's why you're in handcuffs. It's all on camera >> again. It was started from him. If he will if it had started, >> it sounded like it started with you with your driving pattern. >> What do you mean would drive my speeding and driving without your stuff? You're speeding, right? >> Yes. Again, I was speeding on a four [laughter] on a four l on on on a fourlength uh street. >> Well, last time I checked the statue, >> last time I checked, if you let me talk for two seconds and you be quiet because that's what happens usually when I talk, you be quiet so you can listen. You can't listen when I'm talking. Is that correct? It's kind of hard to comprehend and understand what I'm saying if you keep talking over me. >> That's what normal human beings do. Okay? You're totally wrong for what you're doing. Just because you're in a four-lane highway doesn't mean you can drive over posted speed limit. That's why the signs there because the state law states that mean continue by speaking. I'm not done yet. That's what the state law states that when there's a post of speed limit, you can't go over that speed limit. That's what you got pulled over for. You admitted to it. Hence, then you start an attitude, you go to jail. >> Don't have an attitude, you won't go to jail. Rain back having attitude, you go to jail. He explains it to you three times. Don't do what you're doing and you continue to do what you're doing. That means, you know what the definition of insanity is? Doing the same thing over and over again, getting the same results. It's not working out for you. That's why you're in handcuffs, going to jail. There's nothing else I can do for you tonight. You have no attitude problem. It sounds like everything's coming from you tonight. So, the conversation's over. Have a nice night in jail. Okay? Don't do this nonsense again. Next time, have a little bit more respect and you'll probably get respect. >> You No, you guys when I came up here, you started yelling at me. I didn't get my stuff yet. Okay. You did not listen. >> She tried to exploit procedural loopholes to undermine the stop. A classic move for people who think they're above the law. The officers confronted her about leaving the car and shouting at them, forcing her to face the consequences she kept denying, even when the evidence was plain as day. >> With all with all due respect, I I wasn't here. I'm not the one that arrested you, and I'm not a supervisor. >> And you were >> what? >> You were here when he took stuff out of my pocket. >> That's not what I said. Is that not what I'm saying? I'm saying I I wasn't here at the initial part of the stop, so I don't know what happened and I'm not a supervisor, so you can make a complaint later, but unfortunately, as of right now, you're going to go to jail for, I'm assuming, resisting um and um and that's that's that. >> Do you have any questions? >> No. >> Other than your pockets up front on your shirt, you have p you have anything in your pants pockets? >> Okay, me. You can stretch me. >> I I I understand. What I'm trying to say is you're a medical professional, correct? So, you probably have some type of needles on you at one point. Sometimes sometimes I try you to trust me. It's all right. And is this your house? Is this your house? Is this your housekeeping? Man, we'd like to put this in your personal property if you would just answer us. I I understand you're upset, but there's nothing we can do about it tonight. So, is this your housekeep? >> All right. They can go with the car. >> Come over here. Come over here. >> You actually You go. Actually, you go on the water. Yeah. In the end, the woman was taken to jail and charged with obstructing a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest with force, both serious offenses. She also faced fines for the original traffic violations. It seemed like the night's drama had finally ended. But no, another Karen was already waiting in the dark, ready for her turn. On March 31st, 2023, police noticed a car moving unusually slow and tried to pull it over for a routine check, but the driver didn't comply. She hit the gas and took off. What followed was a chase no one expected. And here's how it went down. 15 dispatch check. Be with that David John Victor 3324. David John Victor 3324. He pulled a side road. We're now heading westbound on Liberty. not rate of speed. You just 427 Bowing a beaver. >> Bowing a beaver. >> You stop with him. >> Show me your hands. Show me your hands. >> He's taking off again. >> They're continuing direction northbound. 15 >> 15. Dispatch, we're northbound. Female driver, Asian. >> Yeah, I mean, we could probably spike it. We're northbound on Burbank. Passing the 1500 block westbound Highland. >> Driver, show me your hands. For someone trying to flee from the police, her driving was oddly careful, slow, deliberate, obeying every signal, like she wanted to control the chase on her own terms. It felt less like panic, [music] more like a performance. PUT THE CAR IN PARK. PUT THE CAR IN PARK. PUT THE CAR in park now. Car park. >> Car park. >> There's a lot of glass. Hold on just a second. Get up. Out. Out. Out. She's got lots of marks all over. I don't know if that was from the glass or not. Okay. Me very okay. >> We'll just go ahead and search her here. >> Um, we'll cut it. >> Yeah. Stop. Stop. Let go. >> Even after being caught, she rambled incoherently. It was obvious she wasn't sober. At one point, she even tried arguing in Vietnamese, but the officers, calm and professional, just followed procedure. It was absurd and sad all at once. >> She got anything in that pocket? I did not check. [bell] She's clear. Get her in a cruise. >> I don't know what her deal is. I know her deal. She just does this. Is she she get intoxicated? Let's put her back. You good? >> Yeah. Just >> Yeah. >> Out of nowhere. You know, >> did the same thing last summer. So >> with her? >> Yeah. >> Do that to me. Please get out my personality. >> Cancel 99 or bring back Hello, sir. Your wife is my van, correct? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Well, we need um I could probably give you a ride if you have no one else here to give you a ride. She's she currently just got arrested. >> We're She stopped at Burbank and Highland right now. If you need a ride, I could give you a ride to come get the car or else they're going to tow it. >> They were in a pursuit with her. She's arrested right now. Okay. >> Okay. >> I don't know all the details. I wasn't in it, but that's what I know. And we're just before we tow the vehicle, I came up here to try and stop and get you since I was around the corner to see if you'd want. >> Is she still at at the car or is she already? >> I know she's in handcuffs. I If she's, as far as I know, she's still on scene and hasn't been taken to jail yet. But I imagine, you know, that's where she will be going. >> Okay. >> If you would like, I can give you a ride unless you have someone else that's with you. >> Yeah. >> Um, can you give me a ride out there? >> Yeah, I can give you a ride. >> In a surprisingly kind gesture, the officers offered to drive her husband to pick up their car. A small act, but one that spared the family extra stress and expense. It showed real compassion and restraint from law enforcement. What are you going to do? >> Yep. She wouldn't stop your gloves or she's known to do this. >> Yeah. I mean, what are you going to do? I figured rather than play this game, I just stop. I don't know how many times we've had to do that. >> Well, yeah. She's known for that. Um, do you want to pull this around the corner? >> Uh, he's supposed to be on his way. So, bring him here and just let him take it home. >> Look at me. I figure there's no point. You may want before you shut the door, you may want to bring a blanket. Sounds like they busted out the window and there's going to be glass. So, if you have a blanket or some thick padding you could put down to sit on that, just so you're aware, sir, just so you don't sit on glass and cut yourself. Okay. >> Any alcohol or anything in the car? So, obviously the pursuit failure stuff and stuff. >> License has expired since 2010. >> Yeah, she hasn't had it all. I don't know why she still gets a car. >> Um, probably just take her down. I mean, take her down to the county, hook her in. >> Then came the kicker. Her driver's license had expired since 2010, [music] 14 years. Clearly, this wasn't a one-time mistake. It was a long pattern of ignoring the law. The officers handled it gently, but it was clear she needed help and supervision before something worse happened. >> She ran into Maurice's car. I >> think she's just out there. >> Yeah. I've never noticed if she's been a drinker or not. >> I didn't smell any alcohol. >> She's just 74. I thought she was going to take off again. I'm like, "Oh, here we go." Well, I I positioned angled in front of her down at uh Bowman and Beaver. She went around the block basically and uh well around a few blocks, but yeah, she just I didn't I still gave her an out and she took it. >> I was surprised. >> And then you probably just put it in. That might be his husband now. >> Oh, that work. Yum. I'll get some pictures. [ __ ] She's not under the arrest warrant or anything, did she? >> Actually, they just took her to jail. Yes, she is under arrest, sir. >> For what? The warrant. There's a warrant or >> No, they were in a pursuit with her. >> Oh, okay. >> As to why they had to stop her right here like this. >> You go ahead and take the car. Um, she doesn't have a license. How is she still getting cars? Does she have access to the keys to these cars? >> Yeah. Yeah. I think she hide a key. You know, >> she hides a key. >> Yeah. >> Great. >> You know, >> u Well, if the key is still in it, I would hide that one. >> Okay. >> And keep the keys out of out of her reach because this keeps happening with her. >> Yeah. >> In the past. So, >> you know you know you know when I when I keep the key, I put the brake on the on the car. She she she want to destroy my car. >> Oh, she she's a mentally ill. >> Yeah, I know. >> That's that's the problem. I just couldn't tell her, you know, stop driving. you know, just she's getting crazy, you know, and >> Yeah. And sometimes she going to stop me as well, >> you know. I mean, that's you know, she when she getting crazy, you know, when I get violent, I know that. >> Yeah. All right. >> All right, sir. Thanks for coming up and getting it. I'll move out of your way. >> In the end, she was taken to jail and charged with failure to obey a traffic control device and fleeing and eluding, carrying up to one year in jail and a $1,000 fine. If convicted, the focus would likely be on treatment and monitored rehabilitation rather than traditional incarceration. A second chance if she's willing to take it. When the truth finally comes out, silence can be the last chance at redemption. But the next woman chose to fight it instead. On July 28th, 2025, police pulled over a woman for speeding. When asked for her ID, [music] she refused and tried to hide her identity. The body cam captured everything as the tension slowly began to rise. >> How's it going? >> Going good. >> How you doing? Good. Good. You know how fast you're going? >> I'm I'm I'm in a rush to work, sir. I'm sorry. >> You trying to get to >> work? Where do you work? >> I work at 28 for Charles 965. >> I'm sorry. What did you say? >> I work at UPS. >> UPS? >> Yes. driver. >> Um, I don't have my draft license on, but you can look at I have my insurance. >> You have one though? I do. You just don't have it on your car. >> Yeah. >> Do you have the insurance on you, too? >> Is there any lettering? >> Give me one second. All right. >> Okay. >> You got the right birthday. >> Gave me 720 >> 2002. 2002, right? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. It's not It's not coming back. Nothing's coming back. Since 2002. >> No, I said 2002. >> 2002. >> What did you say your first name was? >> Cashache. >> Cashache. What did you just tell her? >> The same thing. >> You said S H A N T E L. Show. >> I did not. That's my sister. >> That's your sister. >> This is my sister's car. >> This is your sister's car? >> Yeah. The insurance that I showed you. That's This is my sister's car. Okay. One more time. >> Who owns the car? >> Huh? >> Who owns the car? >> My sister. This is my sister's car. >> What's your sister's name? >> Chantel. >> No. Do you know her birthday? >> It's 08. It's August the 27th. >> Okay. Do you know what year? Do you have anything with your name on it? >> I don't at the moment. >> Photo of your ID. >> Photo works. or like an insurance card with your name on it or anything you on your phone's fine. >> No, again, this is my sister. >> No, I know. No, no. I mean like health insurance. Anything. >> Yeah, just something with your name on it. Or if you have a photo of an ID, that's perfect, too. >> You going home? >> No, I'm going to work. >> Oh, where you work at? >> She admitted she didn't have a license, as if the excuse had been rehearsed. But when the officer ran her name and found no record, things got serious. Anyone who's worked at UPS knows you have to carry ID. So, it was obvious she was lying and not doing a great job at it. >> Your ID or something? >> I got a new phone. So, let me see. I'm looking for a photo. >> Yeah. Do you have like a debit card or anything? Something with your name on it? >> You don't have anything on? >> Nothing. Like no. No problem. Like I'm not even joking. Keep doing that. Okay. >> Or like a photo of your health insurance or any work like a payub from work banking >> something's worth it to >> like I said I have a new phone. Like I just got this phone yesterday. So it's like I don't have much >> everything looks like it's transferred over. >> No. >> You got up from work or or banking app? >> But my phone don't have no data. That's the thing. >> What do you mean? >> I don't have no data on my phone. >> So, you don't have your driver's license. You don't have your purse. You don't have anything that can verify. >> I don't not not at the moment. I'm sorry. I was running late to work. I was playing from a family function. >> You're going to have to pull up something. I can't just let you go without verifying who you are. >> Are are you sure? >> I'm not Shante. I'm cashing. >> Okay. Are Are you lying to us? >> No. Okay. What birthday did you give him the first time? >> I gave him July 20th, 2002. >> Okay. And did you spell your name with a K? >> I do not. My name is still with a C. T A S H A. >> I just need to see something, anything that has your name on it. >> And I don't think it's that hard. There's a million options on your phone. I a payub from work, a work email. You can log into something. again. Ma'am, I don't have my phone to log into anything. >> You can log into anything that has your name. >> This wasn't just about lying. It was about control. The more she talked, the more confused she became. When she refused to show her payub or bank card, the officers grew suspicious. Maybe there was more to this stop than just speeding. >> You still be able to pull it off. >> Just go on your phone. Throw your email. My email is not going to show because I don't have no data s your email up anything. Oh, it should be a two. Does it say two? >> I don't have no data to show you anything. >> This is You have a bunch of emails. >> I do, but I'm saying it's like no data to show you anything. I don't have no data to pull up anything to show you like it's not going to load. You see? >> Um, >> okay. >> Um, do you have any other apps or anything? If you go to your homepage, >> Instagram, >> it's not going to show you. I have multiple accounts. >> Where are you lying to me? I'm not lying, sir. >> You have multiple account. Why would you have Shantel's account? >> This is my sister's account. >> Okay. What's Shantel? Hey, >> what's Shantel? Drives us. What's the status? Ma'am, just step out of the car. Step out of the car. >> She just pulled up her Instagram. >> I have multiple accounts. That's what I'm telling you. >> Step out and then we'll figure out more. Okay. All right. Just let's talk first. Let's talk first. Step out of the car. It's a lawful order. Okay. Step out of the vehicle. If you do not step out of the vehicle, he will remove you from the vehicle. It is a lawful order to step out of the car. >> Bring your phone with >> you. >> All right. Come to the back part. Then came the turning point. She accidentally opened Instagram. The name Shantel flashed across the screen, blowing her cover in a single second. Her carefully built story collapsed like a house of cards. She didn't just lie. She overestimated how smart her lies were. >> Like, you all know why we're here, right? He He went to >> He said I was speeding. >> Okay. >> Why we're all here now? Why we're all sitting outside our car? >> Because he think I'm lying about my name. You don't have anything with your ID on it? >> I do not, sir. My My I'm telling them my phone don't have no internet to load like the browser. >> Okay. But you don't have like a wallet on you. You don't have anything like where you going right now? >> I'm going to work. I work at UPS. >> Take anything with you to work. Do you have your ID, your badge to get in? >> No, we have to punch in. Where's your work? >> It's in my car, sir. >> My work stuff is in my car. You want my shoes? >> No, you can stay back here. >> My shoes and all my uniform is in my car, sir. My shoes is everything. >> What about whose purse is this? It >> This is my sister car again. >> She just makes sure I get to work. >> I just having a hard time with you not pulling anything off. I think that's >> Instagram. Well, that's your Instagram. If you have more than one account on Instagram, >> show me. >> I do. I have more than one account. >> I thought you said you don't have internet. >> I do not, but I can log in like I I can't log into different account. I can't switch the account. >> Go back to your Instagram. >> I scroll to the top and say Shantel. >> Exactly. And this is another account, right? You keep your sister's account. >> I do. >> That's a little strange. >> It may be. >> We are two different people, ma'am. >> Well, it doesn't You can't be two different people if you're keeping her account. >> You are you and I am me. >> This is a different back to the other one. >> Look, look. This is This is the >> Go back to the other one. >> This is the other one, right? That's This is my sister's account. >> Denying everything was her final move, but time wasn't on her side. The officers had a clear process. Take her to the station, run fingerprints, confirm her identity. No drama, no debate, just procedure doing its job. >> Damn. Turn around. You're under arrest. The drive suspended. And you can make it to work, bro. I should have pulled the >> You want to tell me your name now? Cuz I know. >> I told you my name. >> Shantel. All right. So, you're going to get taken back to the station. You're going to get fingerprint anyway. Your name's going to come back. I shouldn't tell. >> Okay. Let's go. We going to do bro. We ain't I ain't talking. >> Take our ass on the house. >> Are you making your money? >> Why you lying to me? >> I'm not lying, sir. >> Yeah, you are. You're clearly not even going to work. >> I'm going to work. If you want to see, I I go to work. I work from 3:00 in the morning till 10:00 in the morning. >> I believe that, but you're lying to me about your money. You just pulled up and tells Instagram on the story is you. How dumb do you think I am? >> Okay. Okay. >> That's what make your money, bro. Okay. >> That's you. Come on. All right. Right. Okay. Is that you? Okay. Another charge for life. >> Yeah. >> All right. >> Y'all get paid for this. >> Of course I get paid for it. >> Of course. >> I'm saying y'all get paid extra for take. >> You sure you don't want that bag or anything? >> Where y'all going to take my car to? >> Huh? Where y'all going to take my car to? >> I'll give you that information when we get to the station. >> That's what I'm saying. give you that information when we get to the station. >> Can I call my job and tell you tell them that I got arrested? >> We'll give you the station, >> but don't the number is in my phone. >> I'm going to grab your phone. >> Bring your phone with you to the station. Okay. [screaming] >> In the end, the woman was arrested and charged with obstructing identification and driving on a suspended license along with the original speeding violation. She was also found to have an active warrant. If convicted, she faced up to $2,500 in fines or a year in jail, depending on her attitude before the court. Every lie has an expiration date. And when the next Karen showed up, the line between fear and madness completely disappeared. On June 18th, 2025, police were called to a bar after reports of a disturbance. A woman had been escorted out by security for aggressive behavior, but she insisted she was the victim. And here's how the truth came to light. >> So, we can talk to you. Okay, I'm fine. I'm fine. >> Can you just lean against the car? >> Yeah. Yeah, I promise. You're good. >> You're fine. >> You lost your shoes or you took them off? >> No, I took them off. >> Okay. >> Okay. So, >> what's your name? >> Okay. Just come over here and talk to me. just like started kicking me at the bar like just randomly. I promise I don't know personally. I don't know because I was up started kicking me on the bar and I just I have a bunch of pain all over me. Some guy just kicked me to the floor, kicked me to the kicked to the ground. I literally literally looked at the ground while I was falling at the door. So I know somebody literally punched me. I feel it like I I feel hurt. Do you have any marks on you or anything? >> You just feel pain like in your wrist or something like I I just I just feel >> I don't know. Like I said, I don't know because I'm drunk. I called my brother to come get me. I know he's calling me right now, but I'm dealing with you guys right now. >> Okay. >> I just know I was walking out the door and I was pushed to the ground. I don't know. I know I was acting a little drunk with my friend. I know that. >> Okay. Like I'm not completely >> of anything specific that happened inside before you. >> I just know >> besides you just being drunk. >> I know I was talking to my friend about the guy I was with. Like literally it was to that point. >> She tried to play the victim card claiming she'd been pushed and mistreated. But her actions told a different story. She even refused medical care. Clearly she wasn't looking for help. She just wanted to be seen as the one who'd been wronged. No matter how far from the truth that was. You push me to the ground. Like I feel it in my hands still. Like I feel it. Like you did not have to do that. You just asked me to walk out. You asked me to go to my car. Anything. But you pushed me to the point I fell to the ground. >> Like I literally was looking at this man while I was on the [ __ ] ground like aing animal, bro. >> Okay, I'm listening to you. >> I'm not an animal. >> So the fact you had to push me I'm not I'm sorry. I'm not being you're you're hurt in your own car. >> I'm so sorry. >> Went in here went in there and talked to the management inside Blueore >> and they said that you were causing a disturbance inside and so they kicked you out of the bar. >> Nobody kicked me out of the bar. I promise you nobody kicked me out of the bar. >> Okay. Well, it seems like they wanted you out of the bar and maybe you weren't you didn't hear them or something like that. So, they thought maybe something was not okay. So, that's the case. So, they escorted you out of the bar. >> Come and get me. And no, if that's the case, I'll ask my brother to come and get me. But that's not the case. I was pushed out the bar like a [ __ ] animal. >> You want to call him? Cuz I know he was calling you a few times. >> Yeah, I'll call. If y'all want to leave, I'll call. >> I'm not trying to leave you here. I'm just trying to >> him. You could tell. Let me just call my brother ass when I hear. >> No, like literally how the acting like I'm I'm sitting here talking about something I said. I probably would have >> started. Thank god you didn't. >> You could have got a DUI. >> Tell you we watch the cameras. Okay. Mhm. >> And I'm not making any of this up because I promise you it's all on video. Okay. >> Yes, please. >> So, you were causing a disturbance inside the bar. Okay. I don't know if it was. You were yelling. That's what you said that you were doing. So, it seems like you were yelling inside the bar. Okay. So, the manager asked you to leave. You refused to leave. You started throwing things at people inside the bar. So, the manager requested the security to escort you out of the bar. When officers reviewed footage from a bystander's phone, the evidence was crystal clear. Yet, she still argued loudly, relentlessly. Maybe it was the alcohol, or maybe pure pride. But she couldn't grasp that every second of her outburst had already been caught on camera. >> While you were being escorted out of the bar, you started hitting the security guard. And then when you went through the door the to leave was when you were given like an escort out and then that's when you fell. Okay. And I'm assuming you hit your hands. Okay. So that's why your wrist hurts. Okay. Okay. >> Yeah. >> I just want to go home. Please. Please. Cuz the fact that I sat here and cause disruptions in front of a bar is highlying confusing to me because that's not what I would do. Yeah, I would sit here and get a little loud with my friend, but when my friend left is when I shut the up and was the fact that I was kicked out theing bar and kicked to the [ __ ] ground from being at the bar. So yeah, obviously honestly I'm not pressing charge and they're not pressing charges. We can just shut the [ __ ] about this situation and I can go the home. Don't look at my [ __ ] car cuz you have no right to look at my car cuz I elect you. Thank you. >> Don't touch me and don't get next to my [ __ ] car. Okay, you're next to my car, right? My property, what I pay for, right? Walk the away from You're not Thank you for my brother for coming here. >> But I'm not that type. >> I'm trying to help you. >> Okay. Okay, that's done with I have not raised my voice. I haven't been rude to you once and you're being extremely means. I'm done talking with y'all. Y'all can walk away from my car and my brother could cuz y'all no help. >> Y'all no help. Y'all no help. Nothing happened to my fingers. You don't walk away from my car. No consent on my car. No consent. Search on my car. You can walk away. That means >> technically I could search. It smells like weed. >> That means you can walk away. >> Nope. >> That means you can walk away. Thank you. >> When sympathy didn't work, she switched tactics, turning to fake dominance. Every scream, every curse was just armor for a bruised ego. But that same aggression left the officers with no choice but to end the confrontation the hard way. >> Am I? >> No. My brother's going to take me, right? >> You were while I was running. >> No, I wasn't. >> No, you're not your car. >> Honestly. >> Nope. You're done. >> You're done. >> No. I just want my license so I can go with my brother. >> I just want my license so I can go with my brother. >> Not being like this. That's crazy. That's crazy. I just want my license so I can go on my bike cuz I see him and I'm letting you know. And that's crazy that y'all doing this, bro. >> You did it. You're going to jail. >> I just wanted my car so I can roll on my bike cuz he's right there. >> I'm suing y'all. >> I'm suing y'all. That's crazy cuz I'm What's your name? >> Deputy Henderson. I do number 41082. >> It's going to be on your probable cause affidavit. You can read it. >> That's fine. That's fine cuz I was getting my license to go with my brother that's pulling in right now. >> Okay, we're conducting an investigation. I told you not to get in the car and he pushed me. >> I wasn't going in the car. I was just getting my license coming right back out. You could have seen that if you would have listened. Right. Right. She's going to go for >> You would have listened. I was going to my car to get my license so I could come back out the car to my brother. >> Yeah, that's what I'm doing. Your license on? Is it on? >> Bro, THEY KNOW, CHRIS. I'M GOING FOR MY LICENSE, BRO. And this No, you you're >> Get in the Y, bro. >> Kick us. Kick us. YOU GET IN THE PHONE. >> I'M NOT. >> GET IN THE CAR. >> I'M not back. >> I'm trying to get in the car. >> You're not helping anything. You're trying to kick us. Put your feet down. >> Put your feet down. Sit like a lady. >> Swearing. I can't use >> Put your foot in the car. >> Put your foot in the car. Sit up. You're a grown woman. You can sit up. >> I promise. I'm trying, bro. I promise you. Please stop. I'm trying. >> I'm helping you. >> I promise. No, I'm >> put your foot underneath your butt. >> Please, just try. I'm trying. I promise. I'm trying. >> Not hard. >> Please. >> There. Now, put it underneath you and get in the car. >> I just beg. Please. I'm trying. I promise. I >> The arrest came when she ignored commands and tried to re-enter her vehicle. >> [music] >> The faint smell of marijuana made officers suspect something bigger was going on. Even in handcuffs, she fumed, unable to accept that this time the story didn't go her way. I'm going to I'm going to sue everybody in this [ __ ] I promise you. [laughter] I promise you. You acting grimy as when you knew I was no trouble, right? You knew I was no trouble. You knew I was no trouble. And you still want to acting what? For what? Your points. Your points. I don't know if it was him or her who literally put their hands on me to push me against the car to get me in handcuffs when I was getting my stuff from my brother to come and get me. I wasn't being whatever the [ __ ] in cooperative, whatever. I wasn't being >> I just wanted my stuff for when my brother was legally right to come and get me because that's what the they were saying on the phone, right? For him to come get me, right? >> They didn't hear you on the phone, man. >> Oh, they didn't hear me. They were they were right next to me. So, get theing camera footage cuz they were right next to me. >> I am going to look at the camera. I was getting my footage, my whatever the [ __ ] it was for my brother to come get me. And that's what he that's what I was doing. And they put me against whatever the car I was against of on my will, hurting me to get my information from where my brother came to get me so I could give it to you guys when my brother came and got me. I didn't need to be done, bro. Done. Y'all ain't y'all. I want sued. Look. Look, look that outside that white. I want sued. Guess what? I'mma take her for everything sheing owns. That's how my [ __ ] daughter thating dumb ass knew why I shouldn't have been arrested. She knew. She knew my brother was literally right there to come get me. [laughter] I [ __ ] y'alling died. In the end, the woman was taken to jail and charged with battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest. Her bond was set at $1,000 with her final sentence left to the judge's discretion. As the cuffs locked around one wrist somewhere else, another hand was quietly taking something that was never theirs to begin with. On January 10th, 2023, police were called to a Target [music] store after reports of a Lego theft. Not long after, they spotted a vehicle matching the suspect's description. What started as a simple traffic stop quickly unraveled into something much bigger. >> Hello. How are you? >> I was stopping you because this vehicle uh was possibly involved in a shoplifting from Target. So, they provided the description very well of the vehicle and uh description of, you know, you So, uh, do you have your driver's license with you? >> Yeah. I don't a clear description of a vehicle which matches this description and almost an identical tag number. So, um, you know, just uh, hang out. Okay. You don't have any weapons in the vehicle or anything? Okay. All right. I'll be right back. Ever look for Legos? Legos. >> So, where are you heading today? >> Where? >> Interlock. >> Interlockan. Okay. What brings you in Palm Coast? >> Just driving through from Edgewater. >> Just driving through from Edgewater. Okay. >> What takes you out to uh Interlockan? >> I'm staying there. I'm like going through divorce. You going through a divorce >> and my mother has a lighthouse. >> You have a witness respond. >> So, um, so do you live in Edgewater? >> Kind of. Yeah. And I have a storage in Edgewater. >> You have a storage unit out there? >> Yeah. Like I'm kind of taking all my stuff to my mom or to the lake house right now cuz it's too much for me. >> For a couple minutes are just kind of trying to figure out what's going I just rolled up. So, I don't, you know, I'm just here standing by for safety. I don't really know a whole lot what's going on. So, >> you don't know what happened? >> Yeah. >> Did you make any stops when you got off the highway? >> Um, yeah. >> Where'd you stop? >> Target. >> You stopped at Target? >> Oh, nobody said you took anything. Oh, so what'd you get at Target? >> Nothing. I didn't get anything. >> You didn't buy anything? No. She tried to play it cool, speaking softly like someone caught in a minor misunderstanding, but the officers weren't buying it. When questioned further, she accidentally admitted she'd been at Target. And in that instant, her earlier story began to crumble under its own contradictions. >> How come you stopped at Target? >> Just to shop because I like I buy and sell Legos. So >> you buy and sell Legos? >> So you were shopping, but you didn't get anything? >> I didn't end up getting anything. You didn't get anything? No. Okay. So, they just didn't have what you were looking for. You nervous? You seem like you're shaking a little bit. Yeah. >> Well, they got the property. >> Yeah. out. She I mean she passed all lines of sale outside. They recovered it outside the store. >> I'm gonna grab some water. Okay. >> Okay. Any weapons in the car? >> No. >> Did you just get that? >> No. >> No. >> Do what? >> I've had this since yesterday. You >> had it since yesterday. I know that's the Target brand. Good and gather. >> Yeah, it is. >> That's where I do all my shopping, too. I like that product there. It's good. I'm going to have her step up cuz be driving away. >> All right, mama. I'm just going to have you step out of the car for me. Okay. The officers built their case carefully, one piece at a time. Store employees confirmed that the stolen merchandise had been recovered outside the sales area. Undeniable proof of theft. The moment she was asked to step out of the car, her freedom ended right there. >> Okay, you just hang tight right against the car here. >> Right here. Excuse me. >> You could just lean right against the car. >> Is the key still in the ignition? >> Yeah. >> Is the car on? >> I think so. >> Okay. Hey, do you mind if I go turn it off real quick and leave the key on the dash? We just don't want it running off on us. All right, just real quick, just because there's a lot of cops here, you know, you're on the car, we're standing by. I'm just going to read you your rights real quick. Okay. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say may be used as evidence against Leo. You have the right to talk to an attorney and have him or her with you now or at any time during questioning. If you cannot afford an attorney, what will be a plan to represent you? Do you mind if I partner looks? >> No. >> Okay. >> All right. So, real quick, before I go search the vehicle or anything, would you mind just going to the back of his vehicle so that way we're not as close to traffic and so you are aware that thing is sharp, so I don't want you getting hurt. Okay. All right. Be careful for ants. >> Yeah. >> It looks like you look a lot like you. >> We're going to do a show up and uh the deputy is going to bring by the witness that we have and they're going to say whether or not that what whatever they observed was uh you or not. >> I didn't take anything from that. Even before she was questioned about the theft, the officers read her rights because at that point she was no longer free to leave. They conducted a showup identification where witnesses confirmed on the spot that she was the suspect. A [music] crucial step in ensuring immediate accuracy. >> Tells me that you have kind of an issue with this stuff, you know, and maybe you should get some help, you know, cuz this isn't the way to be. >> I'm having a rough time. I know, honestly. Like I'm going through the voice of the music. >> Yeah. >> And I'm sorry. >> Some people who shop with can do it for the thrill or or they're on hard times. >> But you know, uh it may seem like not a big deal to you, but the the those big corporations, they just write it off and they end up raising the prices of everything else. So the people who work their butt off to pay for stuff, me, I end up having to pay more for stuff like that. You know what I mean? My shoplifting bill or shop shopping bill is more because of theft. I don't think it's fair. >> She has a roll of Walmart receipt paper for some reason. It's not Walmart. >> Survey Walmart.com. >> Really? >> Yeah. >> Survey Walmart.com. >> Okay. >> Wonder if Walmart has anything on her. >> So, you're going through some tough times. That's kind of why you're getting caught up in this stuff. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Like financially difficult times. Yeah, my her husband is not supporting me at all and we can put together. >> So, are you I mean, are you having to are you having to shoplift to provide for your needs? That kind of deal. Huh? Is it basically >> I don't want to pay too much to >> I'm sorry. I can't >> I don't really want to say too much to you guys. >> Oh, okay. I see what you're saying. I'm starting to dig up the old uh things. These are some brand new shoes in a Target bag. No tags. Um there's an lot of like Target bags are in this um compressed like state. Here's a Walmart roll. Here's a Target roll. Blank receipt paper like but on the back is the store paper. >> Despite showing empathy, the lead officer stayed calm and professional throughout. When they found a roll of blank Walmart receipts, the message was clear. This wasn't a mistake. It looked like preparation, a tool for disguising stolen goods, maybe even for future thefts. >> It's your word versus theirs, right? Because they're saying something. Explain to me what happened. How How did it all go down? >> I was pushing a car out of the store and they said they stopped me and I just walked away. >> Where did they stop you? >> In the in the restroom. The door rest. >> Um, you mean like the main doors to the store? All right. So, so you didn't you didn't uh you weren't like in the parking lot going to your was you were heading out and they stopped you before you could get out >> this Yeah. >> What's that? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Yeah. He needs to just be driving by. Okay. Yeah. So, just let us know on LE3 or nay. >> Also, um have your guy contact other LPS for other targets because we're fighting a lot more merchandise. >> Okay. But do your thing. >> Have stand just by the back of your vehicle. If you could stand over there, please. >> Yeah. Just >> if you want right under. >> So, just take a look as we drive by and let me know. >> Mhm. >> That's her. Okay, >> stand up. Turn up. Face the car. Put your hands behind your back like you're clapping. Put your palms together. You've been cooperative. Try to take it easy on your hand here. >> What's that? >> It's going to happen to my vehicle. >> It's going to be towed. I'll walk back to my vehicle. In the end, the woman was arrested and charged with grand theft. The value of the stolen Lego set, the physical evidence, and witness confirmations made the case airtight. If convicted, she faced up to $1,000 in fines, 30 to 90 days in jail, and 2 to 5 years of probation. So, when greed fades, resentment takes its place, and the police remain stuck in the middle, holding the line between the two. On May 7th, 2025, police pulled over a vehicle for a routine traffic violation. But during the ID check, they discovered that one of the passengers had an active warrant. What started as a simple stop quickly turned into an unexpected arrest. >> I'm Deputy Weaver at the Sheriff's Office. The reason I got you stopped today is when you turned off of uh Clinton onto veterans, you didn't use your turn signal. >> You got Huh? >> I did. You might see it. I did. Ain't working. Who came from the gas station first? >> You got your license, registration, proof of insurance? >> Yeah. >> All right. I got pulled over. >> Mr. You got your identification? >> I got pulled. I'm just calling you. >> Thank you. All right. I'll be right back with you. All right. >> Can you step out for me? like everything. >> Jada. Jody, here's your ID back. Allan, >> here's your ID back. >> Oh, sorry. >> And then >> No, you went to court yesterday. >> Charles, here's your >> Okay. So, you're showing a warrant to the city for a coffee. >> What? >> Um, >> yes, she went to court yesterday. >> What? >> So, you stand back here with me while we No, you're fine. While we confirm it. Um, >> criminal mischief, I believe. >> But I just >> real I'm I'm 100% real. Yeah, I'm I'm >> So, what happens now? >> We're going to wait for it. Um, wait for them to confirm it. >> Can I I called them about this and they never called me back? >> I I You're showing a warrant. Can you please talk to him >> about them me calling him because I swear the lady said she would leave her a message and because she wasn't in work. >> I I can't ignore the warrant. They put it in the system. I mean I have man. >> The officer remained calm and professional as he confirmed the warrant. The woman on the other hand froze in disbelief. She never imagined that a domestic argument could spiral into a legal nightmare. But now things were well beyond her control. >> Here can you confirm it? It's within pickup. So, >> what's that mean? >> That that you're going to have to go to jail. >> Oh, come on. Please. No. >> I'm sorry. >> No. No. I I get it. >> I was going to say, >> you got anything on you any note about? >> No. >> Okay. All right. >> This is his dad. >> Yeah. >> Catch you in front. All right. Just like this. >> Oh my goodness. exciting to me. >> No, I get it. >> What time? >> Wednesday. >> Yep. Today is Wednesday. >> Did you get a return on that signal coming upstairs? >> I get it. >> I'm working on it. We were still getting >> 84. Ross, one female 21. I got her as a 21. Um, >> all right. So, >> you know her bond or no? I honestly I do not know. >> What? Misdemeanor fourth degree. >> I can look real fast. Let him let him talk real fast and I'll get all those answers for you. All right. I promise. >> Minor misdemeanor. >> Go ahead and step out for me. You step out on that side with him. Allan, step back here to the front of my car for me. >> You got any weapons or anything on you? I was there last right now before you want me to call if anybody get a hold of >> Yeah. Unless Unless you're cool with me searching you cuz you ain't got nothing. >> You tell me. >> Okay, that's fine. No, no, no, no. That's fine. I feel you. That's the size of my life. >> I get it. That's your normal. You know what I mean? But After verifying everyone in the vehicle, officers confirmed that the warrant stemmed from a dispute with her stepmother. The woman was promptly detained and transported back to jail, ending a short but costly chain of events born from a family feud. >> Charges, uh, >> it's a warrant for criminal mischief. Criminal mism. >> Where's her stepmom live? Maybe like some numbers or people know. >> Okay. >> All right. Let me see your phone. I'll put it up here. >> Yep. I'll let I'll let >> I can't make them, but I'll I'll tell them that you need numbers. >> They they they normally do when when requested. They do. for a week. >> I can promise you you're not going to be here for a week on a criminal mischief. >> I have other stuff like >> Are you on bond on something else? >> Oh, well that's a different story. But the criminal mischief charge itself, we honestly um you won't be here a week at max. You'll be here till tomorrow morning when you have court southern >> I don't work in the city so I I could >> Yeah. No. No. You say nothing wrong. Nothing else. Nothing else. Nothing else. Don't manifest box Tuesday across the street. Yeah. >> In the middle of all that tension, they shared a brief conversation about tattoos. A small human moment that softened the edge of an otherwise stressful scene. It was a reminder that officers aren't just uniforms, they're people, too. >> I'm trying I'm thinking about I'm trying to work on my helmet, but I just don't I want it different. I don't want the same wings ready. I want something different. >> Yeah. General >> I was saying because he's a Washington commander. >> Mhm. >> Redskins die hard since he was a kid. >> How's he feel about that name change? >> Well, he passed away a couple months ago. >> Oh, none of them. >> But um >> can be a young >> he um I was thinking about getting um like a jersey >> but with his name. >> That'd be awesome. Actually, >> I think that's that's different. >> Yeah. >> Oh, sorry. >> I mean, I would say different. >> Yeah. >> Years that >> a cute >> Yeah, that'd be uniquely. >> That's very very like >> Yeah. Like you can always you can do anything. You can put it in like you like hang it up all kind of stuff like jeans and stuff. You can frame it. >> I don't know about that. Yeah. >> Oh, I think that would be second TJ. There's a couple other people there, too. >> First name >> K. Who are you? K to >> my uh Danielle. >> That's my cousin. >> Oh, >> I Y'all don't believe me when I tell you I'm related to everybody. I I BELIEVE YOU. I I believe you. >> So Kenny's your dad? >> Yeah, your mom. >> Who's your mom? >> I know. Kenny. >> Yes. >> When the officer later discovered they were distantly related, things got even more delicate. Yet, he stayed composed and professional, following every procedure, including a thorough search before transport. Keeping that level of composure and fairness in such a situation is no small feat. family and >> yeah and the Yans are a big family >> and you know the bad part about that is you don't you got to be careful who you d cuz it might be your stand over here give me a wide stance right there straight in the air don't touch it straight up reach for the sky squat just a little and hold Yeah. Good. What am I here for now? Since I know that you're my cousin. >> Well, uh, you know, Cindy, >> she's my stepmom. >> She's my cousin, too. >> She's my stepmom. Ever they were fighting? >> No. Well, no. She I was at her house and she came home and started looking hard and drunk and all that stuff my face called cops on me. Well, told me if I didn't leave after then I left walking down the street with my kids know she was with my kids. So, I walked down the street with the kids and then she I got criminal about it. >> Well, it says a warrant. >> I got warrants for criminal mischief but >> Oh, this is what happened from that. >> Yeah. Well, I called the the on here and they told me they'll leave her a message and she went in. >> You know what? She she won't show up. >> Well, she should call me so I could be a city warrant. They shouldn't be bringing it over. >> I love Cindy, but she drinks. But that's the first time she was her and been for together forever. I think they tried to leave each other up. There was I know. I >> In the end, the woman was charged with [music] disorderly conduct tied to her prior dispute with her stepmother. Since it was a minor offense, the likely outcome was a fine or probation. Most likely, she would appear in court the next morning and be released shortly after. On December 24th, 2023, police were called out on Christmas Eve to break up what was reported as a domestic dispute between a woman and her boyfriend. But what waited behind that door was far more intense than your average lover's quarrel. >> You want to hang out while you get your stuff? >> No. >> Sure. >> Yeah. >> Thank you. >> Okay. Have a good day. >> What's up? >> He's trying to tell her she's got to leave now. She doesn't want to leave, but doesn't really What's the situation here? >> He just wants me to leave and I'm not going to leave. Like I live here, too. >> You live here? You live here? >> Yeah. >> You got kids? >> Yeah, we have kids. >> Okay. How long right now? >> 7 years. >> Okay. How long have you been living here? >> Uh 2 years. >> You told me it's been a few days. >> No, like we just got back together. So, I just moved in. But we've been living here since last August. >> When did you move out? >> August before. Huh? >> When did you move out? >> Like two months ago. >> Okay. And then he moved back in 3 days ago. >> Yeah. A couple days ago. I just turned on the electric. >> I mean, I don't leave. It's not a problem. But he's not going to keep sitting there trying to harass me, >> right? >> I told him to go upstairs. I can put my stuff in my car. >> With you having moved out two months ago and then moving back in 3 days ago. I mean, >> technically that would violated the residency um as far as you having established residency. But I mean, what do you want me to do? Do you want me to convince him to let you stay or >> No, I'm just talking my stuff in my car. That's it. >> Okay. What's his name? >> There hadn't been any violence yet, but a messy argument over who had the right to live there sparked major tension. The woman had only just moved back in a few days earlier, which complicated things legally. What seemed like a small misunderstanding quickly spiraled into something much bigger, something no one saw coming. >> Maybe you want to just just hang out over there and I'll talk with him. And she just wants to grab her stuff and go >> right now. So >> that's all she brought from home. >> She have anything else upstairs? >> No sir. You ask her. Okay. >> What y'all came from? >> Huh? >> Actually, I don't know what y'all came from. Nobody did nothing. Put his stuff downstairs. >> Okay. Shouldn't have anything else in there. >> Is that all you have? You said everything that she has on the porch. >> Yeah. right there. The rest of mess up. I put my car. >> So, all you need is what's here. >> I just want to >> Okay. Hey, boss. Can you move off the stoop so she can grab it? >> No. Go over here where I was. >> Go right back upstairs where you belong. >> Hey, we're not going to do that. >> Go back upstairs. >> Go back upstairs. I don't want you staying there. Go back upstairs. >> You grab your stuff so we can go. >> It's not your house. IT'S NOT IN YOUR NAME. GO UPSTAIRS NOW. >> OKAY. LISTEN. We're not going to do that. >> Go. >> Stop. Stop. >> Ma'am. >> Okay. Okay, now we can walk back to the sidewalk. Come on. >> Go upstairs, >> ma'am. Come on. Come on. Let's go. >> Go upstairs, Belle. >> I'm not here to yell at people. Let's go. What's your name? >> What are we doing? >> Go upstairs. >> Go upstairs. >> Go upstairs now. >> All right. Hey, stop it. [screaming] >> STOP. STOP. Stop resisting. I'm going to chase you. [screaming] >> [snorts] >> She ended up in cuffs all because of a man who clearly didn't care about her. Her blind rage cost her everything. And now instead of spending the holidays with her daughter, she's behind bars. A heartbreakingly high price to pay for someone who never truly chose her. >> Why did we do that? We [snorts] >> Why did WE DO THAT? >> NO. >> NO. You're going to sit here for a second. Think about what the Christmas Eve you had to do that. [snorts] >> Come on. >> You got it for a second. My body came down. >> Stop for Can you use the female for search, please? on your left side. >> Stay there. >> Stay there. [snorts] Stay down. >> Let me get up. >> You can sit up. >> If you sit up, you going to start fighting again. >> Stay right there and don't move. There's no need for all of this. >> Can you just step inside for a second? >> Get your ass inside, bro. >> Really? After all that, we're still doing >> whatever. She wants to run her. Stand up. >> Let's go this way. >> You don't get it. I don't know. >> Keep laughing, [ __ ] >> I got it. >> Does this come off? >> Let's wrap. >> The man jobless, dishonest, and still messing around with other women. Meanwhile, she's facing jail time. If you're listening, girl, maybe this is your wakeup call. This might just be your shot at real change. letting go of a man who's never lifted you up and finally focusing on yourself and your child. Don't throw your life away for someone who wouldn't even stand up for you. >> Why did we do that? >> Cuz I'm heartbroken. He was supposed to be home to watch our kid and he was out with a [ __ ] I don't like. >> But but no, you're going to jail on Christmas Eve. You being heartbroken [snorts] >> for something silly. >> I've been burying these past months and you don't see that. He just got in jail for domestic violence on me. >> Right. And guess what? You just gave him exactly what he wanted >> cuz he's been hanging out with the same girl he was hanging out with the day he got locked up. The night he before he got locked up. >> And guess what? >> She's come out to be here. Like come on. >> And now she's going to be here and you're in jail. You gave him exactly what he wanted. Come on. [snorts] >> It's ridiculous. You're not dumb. Do you have any weapons on you? No. >> Okay. Have a seat in the back until we can do a female search. Go. What do you have that you need? You can take your purse and your stuff and your phone with you. You have a car here. >> That's what I need to call his mom. >> You have your car here. Okay. You want your his mom to come get your car? >> What's Who Who's Is that Barb? >> That's her. [snorts] Hello. >> Yeah. >> Can you come get my stuff? >> Where is it at? >> In front of the house. >> So, what's going on? >> I'm in the back of a cop car. >> Okay. >> The cop has the phone, so you can talk to him. >> Okay. >> All right. >> You good? Do you want me to talk to her? >> You can. >> Hey, how you doing? >> Good. How are you? >> Good. I guess she wants you to come get her car and her purse. >> Okay. My phone. >> All right. Um, I'll be there in like 15 minutes. >> 15 minutes. >> Sounds good. We'll wait for you. >> Okay. Thank you. >> Then his mother showed up and the truth started pouring out. Turns out this young woman's been carrying a lot of old pain. She wasn't evil, just a wounded mother who never got a chance to heal. That pain turned into anger and everything fell apart from there. >> Hello. >> Hey. Sorry I had to be here. >> So, she's going to jail. >> Yep. >> Okay. >> Um, it was supposed to be to get property and we went up on the porch to get the rest of her stuff and she decided to >> try to start in front of you. >> Oh, yeah. >> Okay. So, um, she's going to jail for that for domestic violence battery and she might catch a resist arrest charge cuz she didn't want to be handcuffed. So, I guess she just wants you to take her purse and then something with the car. You're welcome to talk to her. >> Okay. >> Where's the person who cares? >> It's in my car. >> Oh, okay. I told you to leave her on it. >> [snorts] >> Um, so I Okay, I have their kids and I've had their kids for over a month. >> Okay. >> Do I just contain like I don't even know what to do. >> I'm not taking them. >> Okay. >> If if there if you guys had an agreement that you're in custody of the children right now, we don't deal with custody. >> Okay. >> Disputes. Um, that's something you guys deal with in family court as to who gets the kids when. Okay. >> So, if you have them, they're yours. >> Okay. >> Um, she just she's going to jail Christmas Eve. So, >> okay. I love you. I'll see you later. >> Um, do you have any questions for me? >> Uh, no. I got to call her. I'm the mother-in-law. I'm his mom. So, >> but she's been with us since she was 16. So, >> okay. >> She's very close to us, too. >> Got it. >> Um, >> she won't be out tonight. So, >> okay. >> Probably not. >> Tomorrow being Christmas Day, she probably won't bond out tomorrow either. So, probably Tuesday. >> Okay. >> All right. >> All righty. >> All right. Thank you. >> When even his own mother tells her to leave him, you know, the story's been written for a while, but the law still had to step in. She was taken to jail and charged with domestic violence and resisting arrest. If convicted, she could face jail time, fines, probation, or even a restraining order. If you were the mother-in-law here, would you stand by your daughter-in-law or hold her accountable? especially if your own son was the one causing the real damage. Next, a Rich Karen's fantasy is about to crash headfirst into cold, hard reality. On November 22nd, 2024 in Florida, police were called to Angry Moon Cafe after reports of a drunk woman refusing to pay her bill, threatening staff, and attempting to drive off while possibly intoxicated. What happened next was a full-blown lesson in how fast things can go south. >> Coming. Are you coming from the bar tonight? >> Yes, I I am. >> Can you stay in your car? >> Okay. You want to lower your radio for me? >> So, do you have your driver's license on you? >> I guess. >> You don't have any guns or anything in your purse, do you? >> Guns? >> No guns? >> No, sir. >> Okay. So, where are you coming from tonight? I just came here from the restaurant. >> You were where? >> Over here at the restaurant. The the restaurant over here. >> Okay. >> Uh Angry Moon Cafe. >> You were in the Angry Moon Cafe. >> Yes. >> Were you in a cigar bar? >> Yes, I was. >> You were? >> Yes, I was. >> Okay. And uh there were some people that uh wanted me to leave there because uh I shouldn't tell you heard a Chardonnay from me. I brought it out. Everything was normal. She ordered another >> Just give me one second. >> Sorry. >> So So she came in around 5. >> Um yeah, she came in around 5:00 and she ordered a Chardonnay. Everything's fine. Uh a little while later she got another one from me and then she went into the door. She asked for my assistant. We picked out a cigar. She mentioned that she's a little expensive. Whatever. I could already tell I was starting to read a little bit of a vibe off of her but for no particular reason. Um she had told me that she was waiting for her friend. Then she ends up coming inside. She sits with another woman and then >> eventually the friend shows up. We have a couple more drinks. She had four total over the span of like 2 and 1 half, 3 hours maybe, which she seemed fine until she wasn't. And then I saw her walk into the humidor and ask one of the guys that was inside for something. It seemed like she was trying to basically get him to pay her bill. She was trying to negotiate. Eva walked in around 5:00 p.m. acting completely normal. But after knocking back a few too many drinks, she started trying [music] to dodge the bill, pushing it off on others. And when confronted, she turned combative in an instant. This wasn't just about a bar tab. It was about avoiding accountability. And it marked the start of her downward spiral. >> Did she come in? She seems very intoxicated right now. Did she come in intoxicated? Like, >> no, she didn't seem intoxicated at all. >> Cuz like it's like you can really really smell it on there. say uh I have to say it felt like zero to 100. It seemed like she came in, she was fine. I didn't interact with her that much and then hours passed and I mean yes, four glasses of wine, sure, but over the course of 2 and 1 half 3 hours isn't outrageous for most people. So I don't really know when that happened. when she started getting aggressive violent, she started, you know, she was in my face a little bit when I was asking her to pay the bill. >> You want to pay it? >> So, okay. So, what would you like to do about that? >> Honestly, as long as she's not able to come back here, that is that's really on us. And for the bill to be paid, I think it's like $55 or something. That's not good. >> Her tab's $55. >> Yes. >> So, let me see if we can get her her tab settled and then we'll deal with her on the traffic. >> Thank you. That would be ideal for me. So, >> all right. Let me write this down for for you. >> All right. These guys want to >> Hey, listen. All right. You still got a $50 bill in there. You got to pay. All right. You have a credit card or cash, you can pay for it. Of >> course I do. >> But if you don't own them, it's misdemeanor petty theft. We don't want to do that. Okay. >> Of course I do. I I own my rent. >> Okay. All right. Miss uh >> Abrink. It's Eva. >> Eva? Yes. >> All right. Miss Eva, do you still live on Beach? >> Yes, I do. >> Okay. Is that where you're going to head to? >> Uh, no. I'm going to go to my boyfriend's place. >> Okay. Where does he live? >> Uh, he lives on uh right over here. Uh um uh gosh. Um Michael, you just dropped something over there. Um it's uh you just bought a place over Yeah. Over here. Just over here. Yeah. >> Okay. So, you were hanging out here at Angry Moon. >> Yes. I was meeting my girlfriend over here. Uh, she wanted to come up here and that's where I met her. >> Okay. Uh, is this the only place that you went to or did you go somewhere else before this? So, >> yes, I did. I w I walked right over there, but it was too busy so I walked over here. >> You went to Carmines? >> Yes, I did. >> Okay. But this this was the only place that you were drinking at? >> Yes. >> What did you have to drink in there? >> Uh, Chardonnay. >> Okay. I see if I can get a receipt for them. >> Itemized. >> Um, Chardonnay. How many of them? >> Uh, I had one, two, and maybe three when we got to the But I had two outside. >> So, you had two outside and then two inside? >> No, only one inside. >> Just one inside. >> Once staff gave their statements, Eva lost control of the narrative. That fake confidence of hers unraveled fast, replaced by defensiveness and confusion. She started tripping over her own story, dodging questions, denying everything, and awkwardly trying to twist the situation in her favor. But her act wasn't fooling anyone. >> How do you feel right now? Do you feel all right? >> I'm okay. Yes. >> On a scale of 1 to 10, one being stone cold sober and 10 being drunk. Where do you think you're at? >> Um, I'm pretty stone cold sober because what you just did me through, I'm pretty stone cold sober. Yes. >> I didn't do anything. I didn't put you through anything. >> No, no, no. But what what does the other officers here? >> So there was a disturbance here. They called in said you were trying to skip out on your tab that you pushed somebody and that you stormed out and they were worried that you were intoxicated. Okay. So my concern is I'm a DUI officer. Those those other officers, they handled all that initial complaint. I believe we also believe as officers that you're also intoxicated. Okay. So that's my that's me expressing the concern. That's why I'm now here. Okay. So I want to make sure that's not the case. All right. So, I'll like to do some standardized field sobriety exercises with you. Okay. >> So, let's go ahead and hop out. We'll come back over here. >> Um, we'll go. You see that open area right there? We'll go over there so there's no traffic. >> Watch your step. >> Yeah. Watch. Watch. Coming down. We'll go right over here. >> Um, escort. Once again, you know, I express the concern that you're under the influence. You weren't actual physical control of the vehicle as observed by this officer over here. I understand exactly what's happening right here. >> Okay. So, yeah, I'd like to do some standardized field sobriety exercises. All right. >> I understand exactly what's happening here. >> Okay. >> I get everything what's happening over here. >> Okay. So, do you have any medical condition with your eyes not corrected by glasses? >> Uh yes, I do have a problem with my eyes. >> What is it? >> Uh I I I don't see correctly. >> Okay. So, that would be corrected by glasses. correctly. Yes. >> Okay. Any any other issue with your eyes besides that? >> Uh I don't see uh um I don't see. >> Do you wear contact lenses? >> No, but I don't see uh correctly. So I I mean you're asking me correctly. I'm asking you honestly. I don't see uh >> Well, I'm saying besides for for having to wear contact lenses or glasses any because that's correctable. >> Yeah. But I don't see uh correct. >> During the field sobriety test, Eva played every card [music] but the right one. She blamed her eyesight, ignored instructions, and flat out refused to cooperate. At one point, she even brought up her personal connections, hoping that it' get her a free pass. But all it did was show how desperate and out of touch she'd become. >> Do you have any medical condition which prevent you from balancing on quit? >> I don't think so. >> All right, perfect. So, if you would just go and stand right here in front of me. >> Right here. Right where I'm pointing. >> Why am I saying that? >> No, no, no. We're not We're ignoring that line. That line doesn't exist. We're not doing anything with that line. Just go ahead and stand right here in front of me. >> Why? >> Cuz I got to check your eyes out here. >> I'm not We're not using >> No, no, no. I'm sorry. The land is over here. >> Wait a minute. Time out. Are you Are you conducting these exercises or am I conducting? >> I am telling you. >> You're participating. I'm conducting. >> The land is over here. Okay. >> Okay. But we're not worried about this line. Actually, Miss Eva, come over here. Now the lady grown up. >> Now why would I be >> a grown-up? Come here. I'm >> sorry. >> Come over here. Listen to simple instructions. Okay. >> You're going to stand right in front of me with your feet together and your hands at your sides. Just like this. Hands at your sides. At your sides and behind your back. At your sides like this. >> I have my sense on my sides. >> No, they're I I mean I know exactly what you're looking for. And I have a lot of people in the government. >> That's very interesting. Anyway, go ahead and place your hands at your sides for me, please. >> I have my stance on my sides. >> No, they're behind your back. Just learn your words an awful lot. All right. >> I have a lot of people in the government, so I know exactly what you're doing. >> That's cool. You see this red light? I want you to follow this red light. Put your hands down. >> I want you to follow this red light with your eyes only. Okay? Do not move your head. You understand me? >> Yeah. Don't move your head. Don't move your head. Don't move your head. Don't move your head. You're moving your head. Please don't move your head. >> All right. Do you do you understand when I when I say don't move your head? Do you know what that means? >> I understand what you're talking to me, but I have a lot of people. >> Then came the delusions of grandeur. Eva tried to flex her supposed status, acting like her wealth or connections could buy her way out of trouble. But that fantasy didn't last long. Reality was waiting and it was wearing a badge. >> We need to talk. >> No, we don't. >> No, we need to talk. >> So, you see this red light? >> Yeah. >> Follow with your eyes only. Do not move your head. Okay. >> We need to talk. >> Don't Don't touch me. Don't Don't >> Don't grab my partner. Put your hands on him. >> Okay. >> Give her one more chance. I'll give you one more chance. Give her one more chance. Don't grab my partner >> right now. >> You put your hands on him. I'm >> stop. >> All right, ma'am. >> Stop it. >> Got it. You okay? >> It's just cuz they're cold. They got pinched inside the side of the co. >> Yeah, sure. >> Loosen your hand. >> Loosen your hand. >> Don't take my ring off. >> Loosen your hand. >> I know, but don't take my >> to take your ring off. >> All right, but I know the ring you're taking me. >> Stop. Don't get hurt. We will, but you got to get searched first. >> You guys in the background? >> Yeah. >> Do you care what side or >> take the coat off? >> Yeah. Don't focus. Tearbox. >> I'm just going to take the cuff off to uh take your watch off real quick. Okay. So, just keep your arm where it's at. It's a little stretch. >> Can you force this watch on? >> No, it's it's it's not it's it just >> Can I Can I show you? Can I show you? >> No. >> No, there's no more. >> But put put the other one over. Okay. Put the other one over. >> One more that goes over. >> Okay. >> Yeah. Put the other one over. >> This one here or that one? >> Yeah. Yeah. Like the other one over. Can I show you? >> I guess I can. Yeah. Eventually, Eva was arrested and charged with petty theft, assault, and DUI. If convicted, she could face fines, license suspension, community service, or even up to a year in jail, depending on her record and how the court sees it. While privilege crumbles in silence somewhere else, another city watches a self-declared speed queen challenge both the rules and reality itself. On May 30th, 2024, at an inactive construction zone, a car was clocked doing 66 mph in a clearly marked 35 mph zone. It was a serious violation that left officers no choice but to intervene. But once the vehicle finally stopped, the story took a turn no one expected. >> I want you to hurt my dog. I'm trying to get >> Let me get another unit. Normal, please. >> Please let me get my dog. >> Get out of the vehicle. >> Yes, ma'am. Stop the vehicle. Listen. >> Really? >> Ma'am, listen to me. Please understand. Do you want to go to jail? >> Please stop the vehicle. Put the vehicle in park. >> Can I Can I >> get out of the vehicle, ma'am? >> That's fine. Get out of the vehicle, please. >> I'm going. Right. >> Ma'am, right now. >> Right now. Get out of the vehicle. >> Ma'am, get out of the vehicle. >> Please. >> Ma'am, get out of the vehicle. Sir, no sir, you will not do that. >> Ma'am, get out of the vehicle sir >> or you're going to go to jail. >> I am telling >> then get out of the vehicle, please. This is your last warning. Please get out of the vehicle or you're going to go to jail. >> Thank you. >> Go anyways. Right. >> Put the dog down. >> I put the dog. >> I have to get out. >> Put the dog down. >> How the [ __ ] DO I PUT HER DOWN IF I AIN'T GOT NO? >> GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE THEN. >> EXACTLY. The is you talking about? You don't even know what the you're talking about. Shut up. You want to be mad or something? >> Step over here for me. >> No, I'm going step right here. Step over here. Step over here. >> Why do I have to go that way? >> Because I asked you to and I'm telling you to tell you why. >> Because I I want you to step over here. Step away from your vehicle. >> This for no reason. >> You're going 66 in the 35. That's the reason. >> There's no such thing as a 35 after you pass that. After you pass that sign, I know. >> A mask on the dash of a convertible was the first red flag. When told to pull over, Tanya made a beline straight home, convinced her sovereign citizen beliefs somehow placed her above the law. It's a delusion often found in people with oversized egos and a warped sense of personal rights. >> That's fine. Step over here. >> I know. So, I'm not >> Step over here. >> Step over. Away from your vehicle, please. >> Step away from my vehicle. >> Step away. Ma'am, >> I'm not going to your Okay. >> Turn around. Put your hands behind your back right now. >> Why are you doing this? >> Turn around. >> Why are you doing this? >> Relax. You don't want to listen to me. Stop. >> Relax. Relax. >> Relax. Relax. I don't care. Relax. Relax. Relax. Stop tensing up. Relax. You're >> making my anxiety. >> Relax. You're going to go to jail if you don't relax. >> I can't relax. I have anxiety. Relax. Relax. >> I don't think you actually know what you're saying. And y'all really need more training. >> I'm going to Can you get in here without my garage, please? I didn't see the price. Can you get my hand out my garage, please? Cuz that's why I want to make it in my house for my >> That's not how that works. >> Medical. You do not pick when you get to stop. >> No, I do because you're pulling me over to No. No. Why the is going on? >> My camera is on in my car, by the way. >> That's fine. I have a camera on right now. >> No, but my camera caught my speed. Stop. >> No, but you're mishandling me right now. >> You're really mishandling me right now, and I don't like it. >> I I don't like how you're handling. >> Listen to me. Listen to me very carefully. I do not care what you think. >> And that's fine. But your car is very hot, sir. >> That's fine. I cannot stand right there. >> You're going to come in the back. >> Okay. But you don't have to handle me like this. >> You were You were You were really mishandling. >> Do you know what resisting is? >> No. Okay. I do. >> You are not complying at all. You have not complied from the very beginning. Okay. >> At what point? >> Do you know failure to stop is a felony? >> Do you know what? >> Do you know what failure to stop is? It's a felony. >> Okay. >> Are you trying to catch a felony? >> Okay. Are you going to listen or you listen? >> I'm not going to listen because this is not a conversation. I am going to ask a question. I'm going to ask you a question if you don't want to hear the answer. >> How much marijuana is in the vehicle? >> You know, [ __ ] you was not going to do that. I have a card. >> Okay. Yeah. >> She spoke over the officer non-stop. Classic power play. People who fear losing control often used this tactic to dominate the conversation. Tanya clearly believed she knew the law better than the police and tried to use legal ease as a weapon. >> You know you know you going to go for these going down, right, for harassing me for being >> I'm not harassing. You aren't cuz you have the right for. >> You're not going in my car. You do not have the right to GO IN MY CAR. I am TELLING YOU THAT RIGHT. >> RELAX. Stop tensing. You're going to jail. >> I'm going to jail for what though? What am I going to jail for? Why am I being arrested? You have to tell me before you put me in a car. >> Why am I being arrested? >> I'll get a 14 a second. >> I would like to know why I'm being arrested. So, you're going to arrest me for no reason? >> Stop. >> No. I want to know why I'm being arrested. First of all, you going to slam it. >> Jesus Christ. >> Not stopping one. Then she wants to back in. Say this is her house. Tell her to get out of the car. I'm not getting out of the car. My dogs yada yada. She going 66. Car reeks of weed. You want me to put my dog in the house? >> Yes. Well, I I'll work with you. You haven't listened at all. >> Your thing is really bothering me. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY I'M HERE. I don't even know why I'm in bed. YOU CAN'T TALK to me back here. I said I have anxiety. This does not help me. >> No, it doesn't help. You not complying with my orders. >> I'm claustrophobic. Okay. >> Relax. >> Please let me out. >> Not going my house. He's not going my house. >> He's not. He's knocking. >> He was not going in my house. Nobody's there. There's nobody there. My husband is at work and it's just me and my husband that live here. And I don't why I mean harass right now. >> No one's harassing you. You are harassing me because you >> Let's be real. If a routine traffic stop sends you into a full-blown meltdown, maybe you shouldn't be driving. When Tanya started gasping and panicking, it felt less like a genuine medical issue and more like a bad performance aimed at dodging consequences. >> I don't know. >> Let me talk. Is there anyone here who can get your dogs? Cuz you are not going to be the one that secures your dogs. >> There's nobody here. >> Okay. Is there anybody that I can call them get your dogs? Because it's just me and my husband. I don't even know. Where's your husband? My husband works for the military, baby. So, I don't even know why y'all are bothering me right now. I am so confused. I don't Hey, listen to me. This is not This is not how a normal person. >> I have anxiety. >> That's why I'm telling you, you don't know him. >> I get that. I get that. That's why I was trying to make sure that my dog didn't get hurt. >> Nobody wants to hurt a dog. So that's why I was just trying to put them up cuz I was I love my baby. >> No, I'm not. She everything I did. She >> which dog is the one you're talking. >> Hey Tanya. >> Tanya, can you look at me, please? >> Here's your phone. Take a look at me. Here's your phone. I haven't >> Oh my god. The lights don't work. >> Would you like us to call your husband? >> No. I don't want to go. >> Okay. So, here's what's going to happen. >> When I call my husband. >> Because we need someone to come get your dogs. >> Why? >> Because you shoot. >> Yes. >> Okay. You're going to be placed under arrest. >> So, >> obstruction right now. I can charge you with the felony fail to stop. >> Listen to me. Listen to me. I don't care about the charges. What I want to hear, what I want to know, >> y'all really doing this on my name. Y'all really can >> I need you to take a deep breath and relax. I have tried to talk to you from the very beginning and you are not. You have not though. >> I did. >> Do you know that the worst you would have got was a ticket >> for what? >> For speeding. >> I wasn't speeding. >> You were going 66 and a 35. >> Sir, if you look at my camera, you can record. You can rewind it, sir. When I saw you, I was past the the construction site. >> I had already clocked you. I had already clocked you. >> No, sir. I was riding with traffic. >> I don't care if you were riding with traffic. You were going 66. That's fine. That is fine. >> No, sir. I do not. >> Her excuses sounded rehearsed, like she'd practiced framing her actions as circumstantial. At the same time, she lashed out, accusing officers of being untrained, pushing blame outward instead of taking responsibility. It was textbook entitlement, never her fault. >> All right. And I had you at 66 within the 35 zone. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. And I and I and I >> I had to catch up to you with my lights and sirens. And this I caught up to you at Woodbine. Okay. Listen. At Woodbine when that construction zone started. All right. >> Construction zone. >> On Woodbine right here where the construction zone right around there. There is right past right past this. When you got up to me on Woodbine, right? >> And you did not stop. >> Answer my question. Right. When you caught up to me on Woodbine, was I in traffic? >> Did you have to break through traffic to get to me? >> I did. Okay. >> So, that means I was driving with the traffic. >> Okay. Doesn't mean just traffic could be going could be going over the speed limit. >> So, only I get pulled over. >> I already had your being way more confrontational than this needs to be. The problem the problems that you're having can be addressed in court. Okay. That's the No, here's what I need you to understand, ma'am. Okay. The problems that you have with him right now, they're addressing the courtroom. Actually, can I get out and call my husband? My foot is wet and I really need a chance. >> Listen, man. We're going to I'm telling you. >> No, I'm I'm just saying it's like really wet because >> I'd rather get the husband on the phone so we can get the animals because there's four of them. >> Yeah, I already have them in route. Let me know. But yeah, I just >> How do I make it easier? >> You want to see my slide? It's so nasty. >> That's something. Okay. >> So, please get over >> I in the state of Florida. All right. You cannot smoke in your vehicle. Even if there smell that is emitting very strongly from your vehicle with the windows down in a convertible. All right. It's a very strong smell. >> All right. Is burnt marijuana. >> Okay. It is. >> I am not crazy. I've been doing this a long time. It was not the smell of burnt marijuana, sir. I keep getting sick to myself because I keep swallowing snot. I'm sorry, sir. >> We can take the mask off. >> Even if I took the mask off, the snot wouldn't go away, sir. Where's the snot going to go if I take your mask? >> You can blow your blow your nose. >> Can I get another mask out the car then? >> They're going to take You're That mask is coming off. Okay. >> No, I'm not. >> When we get to the jail, that mask is coming off. It is. I'm then before and I've had my mask because I can't. All right. >> So, just please don't take my mask. >> She's 45 minutes out. Okay. >> Oh, I thought that was you. Oh god, you guys are so funny. >> Eventually, Tanya was arrested and could now be facing charges for failing to comply with a lawful order, passive resistance, obstruction, and drug possession. Marijuana in the vehicle. Penalties may range from a few months to 5 years in jail, plus fines. So, what do you make of someone who breaks the law then blames the cops for being untrained?
