I'm resting for drinking. >> From the hollow stare of a child to a mother's scream that could shatter the heavens. >> It's the kind of pain that leaves scars on the soul. >> ME. DON'T PUT YOUR HANDS ON ME. YOU JUSTING PUT YOUR HANDS ON ME AND MYING HOUSE. >> Every moment isn't just a scene. It's a wound torn open by what we've done to each other. This isn't footage. It's humanity bleeding in silence, begging to be seen. On May 18th, 2023, at a gas station, cops got a call about a woman losing it. Out of control, aggressive, and with a little kid in tow. What looked like a routine stop cracked wide open into a chain of twists no one saw coming. >> What's the issue, ma'am? >> I was trying to use my card. >> Okay. And then so are you causing a fuss or >> No. >> So why are we out here? >> Why are you out here? I don't know. >> Ask him. >> Where you coming from? >> Kentucky Fried Chicken. I'm going >> traffic. >> So did you have anything to drink before coming here? Did you have anything to drink before coming here? >> Yes. >> Where did you have to drink? >> A beer. >> You had one beer? >> Yeah. >> I don't know. You're not doing this. >> No, you just admitted to drinking and driving. Come here. >> I'm not. >> Yes, ma'am. Come here. >> Place your hands behind your back. Place your hands behind your back. >> Don't take her to jail. >> Place your hands behind your back, ma'am. >> Quit. >> Quit. You smell like alcohol and you just said you're drinking. >> You had a beer. >> You said car. >> All right. >> You said you said car. >> Quit. >> I'm walking. >> Quit. >> I'm walking. I'm walking. arrest me for drinking and walking. >> How'd you get here? Did you walk? >> Yeah, I walked >> from where? >> My house. I live right over there. >> So, you walked here? >> Yes. >> With who? >> My daughter right there. That's my daughter. Come on. Why are you doing this to me? >> So, did you drive? >> That's my daughter. >> Okay. Give me answer me. Answer me again. Did you drive? Yes or no? >> You walked here. >> You walked here. >> Me and my daughter. >> Did you guys walk here? >> Did you walk? Whose car? Whose car is that over there? It's a van. >> Did she drive here? She did drive. In what? In what vehicle? >> No. What vehicle did she drive? >> There's a van. Okay. Well, I didn't play games with you. >> First she denied it, then half admitted it, then spun excuses trying to dodge the blame. But the truth had her cornered. When the store owner confirmed she was the one driving, her whole cover story collapsed, exposing the fallout she couldn't run from. >> I told you I'm three times for you. >> Mama, you drink too much. You drink too much. You are punching my glasses. I'm three times you ask your daughter. I'm requested. Mama, you drink too much. You drink too much. Damn, I'm quite female. 1095. Let's go. >> You're an [ __ ] I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I [ __ ] hate you. Get my phone. Sarah >> 42. Can I get a female unit for a pat down? >> You're going to wait in my car till we get a female out here to come get your pat down. >> You not do you not do Go ahead. >> Quit. But you quit. You quit. You quit. You quit. Go mother. You think big of a you >> get inside. >> Run. >> Get inside. >> Do not kick me. Do not kick me. Do not kick me. I can't >> I can't get up. >> You mother. You're breaking my arm. >> No, I'm not. Sit up. >> Yes, you are. >> You can sit up. >> You drove here, right? You can sit up. Get up. Go ahead. >> Take that [ __ ] off my hands. >> Can I get >> Take that [ __ ] on my hands, please? >> Ma'am, is there something wrong with you? >> What's the matter? >> Everything. >> Oh, okay. >> She's intoxicated. >> Once she realized fighting back was useless, she flipped the script, morphing from aggressor into tragic victim. For a split second, you could almost see regret, but it vanished just as fast. All of it played out right in front of her child, the unwilling witness to her little performance. I'm angry. I'm angry. I'm angry. I'm angry. >> I'm angry. >> Please don't hurt me. >> Please just say this. I won't fight you. >> I don't want to go to jail. >> I don't want to go to jail. >> Hey, ma'am. >> I don't want to go to jail. >> My kids in there. >> Your kids are where? >> My kids right there. >> In the car, too. Where's your kid at? >> The little girl over there. >> Okay. >> Hey, sweetheart. You okay? We just called the dad. He said, "Give him 10 minutes and I'mma stay with her. Take a >> daddy's on the way." Okay. >> You want to have a seat for me? >> And now I'm going to tell my children's inside and my boyfriend. Oh my god. Mother's going to be my ass. >> That's why I'm calling because you mama. Go home. Go home. I can't drive fast. The rear car. Yeah. >> To have a seat in the car. Please have a seat in the car. Why? >> We already we already asked nicely. We are beyond nice. >> Why? Why? Because I tried to use >> I don't answer your questions. Okay. You do what you're told. I'm sorry to put it that way. You need to have a seat. >> I tried to use a debit card. >> I'm not talking to you. I'm telling you to get in the car. >> I tried to use the debit card would not get through. >> At this point, it's it's crystal clear that you're obstructing us. >> Yeah. >> You're definitely under arrest for at the very least obstruction. You need to have a seat or what? >> For not following. >> I'm not your lawyer. I'm not answering your questions. I'm telling you, you need to sit in the car. >> Right. So, do you don't want to catch an obstruction charge. Let's just have a seat. Okay. >> All right. She's >> I know she is. >> No. Before you got here, Hernandez has already gern her a hard time. That's why we're beyond. >> What is the charge? >> Obstruction. >> It is obstruction. >> For what? >> Because officer Fucci is trying to gently guide you into the backseat of this car like you were told to do, and you're not doing it. Police had no choice but to use force, strapping her into the back of the patrol car and putting an end to the chaos. Witness statements were taken to lock down the case. While the child was safely handed over to the father, too. >> So, at this point, we're going to pull you in the back of the car unless you get yourself. >> No, you're No, you're not. No, please. No. Why would you do this? Wow. >> All right, Sarah. >> Let's go say hi to dad. >> All right. >> Hey there. >> Yes, he's fine. >> Okay. Thank you. >> Yeah, of course. >> Okay. >> She got the wrong car. The car is over there. >> Okay. >> I don't know. >> Where's the problem? >> She was coming back and forth to the store. The store guy was like, I bought sold you beer two times. The car declined three times and she wanted the beer, but she was stuttering so much that he couldn't sell it to her. So he told her, "Let's go home. I'll come back." And she said, "They always come here." So she didn't want to do that. >> Yeah. And she told him, she said, "Call the cops." And Sarah was like, "Mom, come on. Let's go." She told her and I told her, I said, "Hey, just go because you know you've been drinking. You going to go to jail." And she said, "I'm not going to jail in there." And she was trying to fight the cops and all that. >> Okay. >> So she doesn't have the keys on her. They must be in the store. So the car >> in the car. Okay. >> The lady the you get the now. >> Yeah. >> She'll just go take a nap and then she'll be back. >> Okay. Okay. >> Three times. Mama, you drunk too much. You drunk too much. You go home. Your daughter tell you, "Mama, come home. Come home." >> No. No. >> Okay. Thank you. No problem. No problem. I'm happy. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Is over here. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> Thankfully, the little girl wasn't left alone. Good people stepped in. A quick-thinking store clerk and a woman on scene helped shield her from more harm. But when someone endangers a child and shows no true remorse, forgiveness isn't on the table. A search of her car turned up even more damning evidence. >> Work with her at the gas station. Hey, you you need to go. Oh, wait. And then quickly realizes, okay, this girl's this lady's highly intoxicated and her van's parked out here in like she she drove here with her child in the car under the influence. So, he's he he goes ahead and put puts handcuffs on her. Um, and then she starts obstructing him. She sits down on the ground. We had to sweet talk her into the car. She's a piece of work right now. I told Hernandez there's a very good chance CCDC will make him go to memorial anyways. Right. Right now her charges are at least uh like public intoxication and obstruction, but I think Hernandez is going to swing the uh DUI. He's got camera footage of her pulling up into the parking lot. I I I'm I'm not sure what what his what his plans are, but she definitely needs to go to jail today. Uh dad's here. They're quote married, but he don't even know her birthday. So, it's trouble in paradise, I guess. But she's literally got a weed grinder and a burnt bowl in her in her center console on top of the alcohol we can smell coming from her. I mean, so with that, I mean, yeah, I see like I guess like a little bit of like if I were if I was in your shoes, I'd keep the charges simple. You've got you've got a good case on simple charges. You can you can pursue a deeper investigation into something deeper, but you got some charges. >> In the end, she was hauled off to jail facing charges of public intoxication, resisting officers DUI, and worst of all, child endangerment tied to drunk driving. If convicted, the financial hit alone could easily top $15,000. Add to that, the loss of her license or even custody. On April 19th, 2025, police got a call from an elderly woman who said her neighbor had kicked in her door and threatened her. But this wasn't some petty squabble. This was part of a long pattern of harassment that had spiraled out of control. >> Ashley, are you over here? Are you over here? Were you with >> Are you sure? >> Hello. >> You weren't knock on the door. Nothing like that. >> Can I come in? >> Yes. >> What was going on? >> Okay. >> I don't know. I came home from here and talk to you >> and she was jerking on my door knock trying to get me as I come down the hall. She started yelling, screaming at me and she said, "Yeah, it was me carved up your door." >> Did you happen to get this on video or anything? >> No, I did not. >> Okay. >> There is a camera down at the end of the hall, but I don't know if it actually caught her. >> This has been an ongoing thing. I have a protective order. We're supposed to go for a hearing on the >> 20. >> So, okay. >> I don't >> But was she saying any threat making threats to you or anything? >> Yes, she's been making >> What was she saying? >> She calls me. She said she's going to cut me up. >> What? What did she say today? >> Today she said she's been calling me and she threatened to throw my blood all over her. What was that? >> She threatened to throw my blood. >> You got some pretty teeth. >> Thank you. >> You're welcome. >> This is for a protection order. >> For what? >> A protection order. >> A protection order for what? >> That's That's what >> I don't know. So, when do I go? >> There's not a date on here. They They were here 2 days ago, but they didn't get in contact with you, it sounds like. >> Yeah, it was listed on my door. >> Just this hanging on there. >> Yeah. >> Okay. The victim's calm voice and detailed account gave police solid evidence to work with. A protective order was already on file, showing the suspect's behavior wasn't random. It was repeated and deliberate. Meanwhile, the suspect acted as if she had no clue what kind of trouble she was really in. >> Admitted that you >> that she did this to your door. >> Did she tell you what she did it with? >> No. >> But no, I'm not. >> Do you just want me to shut my door? >> No. I what would be ideal actually is if you didn't live here anymore because we've I've talked to you myself several times and told you quit harassing everybody and you don't stop harassing everybody ever. >> Okay. >> You've been served with protection order, anything like that, which I'm guessing that's what this is. >> So, I'm uh trying to see if we have enough probable cause for charges and whatever cuz like right now we have no physical evidence. Okay. Um >> I I don't know how much more physical evidence she's ruined. >> I know, but like we don't have camera footage or anything like that. Okay. >> Of her actually doing it. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> So that that that's the hard part. Um I'm going to see what we can do. Let's try to get her story. see if she openly admits to it >> or because on the violation of the protection order it says like she can't harass or whatever. Okay. Do you have a car or anything? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, if we do go to the right charges, are you able to come down to the station >> and sign? >> I will. >> Okay. Okay. >> Just leave me alone. >> Okay. Just hang tight. >> With no direct evidence on hand, officers had to rely on the suspect's own words. But instead of answering, she fired back with nonsense questions, stalling, dodging, anything to avoid the truth. Her refusal to cooperate only deepened the suspicion. >> Not you. >> Yeah, I was about to say I don't have no bench warrants. >> Hey, Ashley. >> Did I say that? >> I don't know. I don't think she conser the sheriff this on her door. >> Okay. >> And she said she So that's what I'm saying right now. I don't think she >> So when do I have to get out? >> What? >> Of here. >> We can't make you leave. I like I said, I prefer that you would move out of here. That would be fantastic so we can stop having to deal with you, but we can't make you leave. So, but we'll find out with the protection order, how all that's going to go and what happened today and stuff like that. So, okay. >> Okay. >> But give us a second. You want to step back here and talk real quick? We'll be right back. Keep the door lock. I'll come back in and talk to you. Okay. >> Thanks, Ashley. Ashley, >> question. Why Why did you do that? >> I didn't sprint for her. >> I didn't even say that. I didn't say that at all. What happened to our door then? >> I don't know. Well, why do you why do you keep going and knocking on her door and cuz the other day I I saw I had video of it the other day. The other day when you were knocking on her door. It's like 3:00 in the morning. You're telling her you're going to >> Oh, I was trying to get her phone. >> No. Well, no. You said you were going to drag her down the hallway by her hair and you were going to kill her dog and Yep. I saw the video of it. You definitely said that the other day. >> Well, anyway, I'm trying to get out of here. >> Well, we have to figure out what's going on here first before we get out here. I'm waiting to see if if you did in fact get the protection order and to see if you have any warrants. Okay. I'm waiting for them to come back for that. >> What's the protection order? >> Uh, it is going to be your neighbor here. Uh, >> so this is for her, >> Miss Forest. No, that's for you. You're going to be served a protection order. You're not allowed to be around her. You're not allowed to call her, stalk her, talk her, uh, menace her or anything like that. I'm not doing anything with her. Okay. >> The endless denial and circular talk were red flags. Even when officers showed her video evidence, she stood firm in her lies. It was a clear picture of someone refusing to face reality or accept legal consequences. >> But you can't you can't be one that's the apartment complex is doors. You can't you can't be scratching on the door. Okay. >> Okay. >> What I mean what did you just you were angry at the time and use a knife or what? >> No, I didn't use no knife. >> Oh. What did you use? >> Uh nothing. Hello. >> Your nail. >> Stop calling me. I'mma get your [ __ ] >> What? >> What you been up to? >> What have I been up to? >> Yeah. >> Nothing. >> Causing problems around here. >> Trying to get out of here. >> I don't have no warrants. >> Oh, >> go ahead. >> All right. Come over here real quick. Drop your keys. You're >> done. >> So, this is for this warrant is for the menacing. The other night when I said I have you on video where you're outside her door trying to go into her apartment and all that. Okay. >> And then she's going to have a protection order against you, which uh we're going to get that confirmed because I don't think you've been served yet cuz you got your door hanger. So, I don't think you've been served with that. >> You don't have anything in your body. Do you have Do you have some shoes you could slip on or anything, Ashley? >> Yeah, >> cuz it's wet out there. >> Where's your shoes at? >> That's the best. >> Is your apartment key on here? >> Yeah. >> All right, we'll lock it up. I'll still leave just >> Ashley, you really need to leave these neighbors alone cuz we get calls from every single person here down on that end. The neighbors down below you that you go down there and start messing with them. You know, everybody here wants you out of this building because of the way that you act. >> They shouldn't have to live like that. >> EXACT. >> Come out, sir. >> How are you? >> How are you doing? >> Here. >> Once the cuffs went on, panic set in. She looked lost, almost clueless about what was happening. For someone used to stirring up trouble without consequences, the arrest hit like a cold slap of reality. Her reaction as police escorted her out exposed her lack of control. >> Do you don't have a case work or nothing like that though? >> No, >> I don't. >> First floor. >> Got him. We need >> I mean it's just a arrest ticket. Are you going to do >> Do you want me to do the arrest ticket or >> I can do it? >> Well, do you do you want me to do a 12 for I'll do 12 for criminal damaging? >> Uh I >> What's your name? >> What's your name? >> I said what's your name? >> I am officer Richmond. Then, um, are you still here? >> Yes. >> Okay. I'm going to You have a cell phone, don't you? >> Yeah. >> Okay. I'm going to send you a link to evidence.com and just take pictures of the door and upload them. Okay. >> Miss Ashley, >> did you speak to your neighbor today at all? >> No. And you didn't damage your door. >> 42. >> No. >> I'm going to go over here and I'm going to switch these out. Let's go under the other night so we don't get rained out. This is cool. Ashley, just try to stay away from your neighbors. All right. Okay. >> Stop messing with them. We'll >> get the bottom set off. Besides your keys, do you have any other property, young lady? No. >> Just her keys. >> Watch your step and what have you. I'm going to reach over. I got to put the seat belt on. In the end, she was booked on charges of criminal mischief and making threats. Penalties could range from jail time to hefty fines and restitution for the victim. The severity would depend on local law, the damages involved, and the fact that she violated a protective order already in place. On April 12th, 2024, a wife dialed 911 begging for help. Her husband was drunk, out of control, spewing violent words inside a house where children were present. Police rushed in only to find the night spiraling into something no one expected. Both husband and wife would end up in cuffs. >> What's going on? >> Um, I just want him to get the out my crib cuz he's over here acting up, being crazy. >> Where's he at? >> He's upstairs. >> Same angel, right? >> Yeah. His name is Louis. >> Really? Angel. Yes. >> Hey, Louise. >> He needs to He's intoxicated. He's really intoxicated. Intoxicated. >> Is there any uh Is there any weapons? >> No weapons. >> Okay, Louise, >> I know he's talking about here. He's up there with my other son. >> Is there anybody else up there? Just >> that's just just him, too. But I honestly feel like he's not even going to say nothing cuz he knows that I called the cops on his stupid ass. >> Okay. Does he live here? >> Yeah, he does. He does. But he's acting up and I'm just not trying to deal with him. >> Does he have a place he could go? >> His aunt's house probably. >> Where's his aunt live? >> Um kind of right there by the police station. Moline. >> Hey Louise. >> Yeah. You get the my >> come down here and talk to me. >> No, I ain't talking. My you come out here. >> He doesn't have he doesn't even have guns. I'm sleeping with my baby. >> You're obviously intoxicated, sir. >> I'm [ __ ] sleeping with my son. >> You're sleeping. >> The only reason I woke up is he's the reason why he's like, "Daddy, someone's downstairs." >> I hear a loud voice. Crystal, that's what you want. >> I don't care. Like, I'm tired of you. >> Of what? I'm sleeping with my kids. >> He's about to come down. >> When do you guys move here? >> We've been here. >> I thought you were like a couple buildings over. >> Yeah, but you guys just >> Yeah, it's been a while. Oh well. >> But I'm not going to be dealing with the rock tonight. Not tonight. >> Oh no. Does he have anywhere he can go? >> He has his hands. >> Yeah. She said his man lives down by the apartment. >> I'm just not going to deal with this [ __ ] I'm not going to be [ __ ] dealing with him disrespecting my kids and acting a fool. That [ __ ] tired of this [ __ ] I'm tired of him. >> Angel, >> where you at? Fueled by booze, the man resisted, clinging to his child like an emotional shield. He refused to come downstairs, forcing officers to breach the cramped room. In seconds, tension snapped and the fight exploded. >> Angel, >> what? >> Where you at, dude? >> [ __ ] I'M LAYING IN A BED WITH MY SON. WHAT THE YOU DOING UPSTAIRS? >> Cuz we need I'm going shoot you in the head. >> Are you? >> Yeah. Where you going? >> Show me your [ __ ] hands. >> No, I'm laying with my son. Go, go, go, go, go, go. >> What are you doing tonight, DUDE? >> I DON'T KNOW. I'M LAYING IN BED. WHY THE are you here? Y'all [ __ ] on my sleep. >> We got called because you're causing issues. >> By who? By who? BY WHO? >> NO, [ __ ] TELL ME WHO CALLED YOU. >> They refused. >> Who? Who? >> The caller refused to provide information. >> What do you want to do? What do you want to do? YOU WANT TO DO ANYTHING? NO. YOU IN MY ROOM. >> You were disturbing the peace with my son. I'm sleeping with my kid. YOU GOT ME OVER HERE. BUT WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO? YOU WANT TO LOCK me up? Putting me in the trucks. >> Okay, get back >> then. WHAT THE [ __ ] YOU WANT TO DO? >> I'M TRYING TO TALK. >> THE YOU WANT TO do your hands on what you ch >> We will. I got to get him first and then I will. Okay. Well, pull his pants up. >> Give me your other hand. >> Give me your other hand. >> I don't care. Angel, you chose this. >> I don't care. You chose this. >> Angel, give me your other hand. Give me your other hand. >> Officer, stop. >> Chuck me hard. >> Angel, give me your other hand. >> I don't give a [ __ ] >> Stop choking me. >> Crystal, please step back. >> All right, woman. Be so aggressive. >> Look at my ass. He smacked me. >> I didn't smack me, [ __ ] You I smack your hand. >> Yes. >> I didn't smack you, [ __ ] You're not going to put hands on me. >> No, I didn't. >> That's not how this [ __ ] works. >> So, okay. My son. You going to disrespect my son? >> I didn't disrespect your son. >> No, you you Bro, you didn't. It's on your camera, bro. My son >> I came in here and I was trying to talk to you. GIVE ME YOUR OTHER HAND. >> You're a [ __ ] [ __ ] You scared me, [ __ ] >> Just calm down. Oh, break my wrist. >> Give me your other hand. >> How the am I going to do that? You fat. You're trying to break my wrist. >> Hold your hand. Trying, [ __ ] >> Pull your hand out. >> I'm trying, you ass boy. >> Man, get the off OF ME. I'M TRYING. >> I'm trying to pull my >> I didn't do nothing, bro. I'm laying down with my son. How am I going to jail? >> You're going to jail for 34. Show me 95 with Angel. We're secure. Everybody can slow down. >> Stand up. Let's go. >> You're going to jail. >> I apologize. Can you let know? >> We're good. We're secure. >> Don't touch me. You're aggressive. >> You smacked me. I didn't smack you. Smack your hand because you had that my face. How am I supposed to dude? I'm laying in the laying in my bedroom, my kid. What began as a domestic dispute escalated into a threat to officer safety. The man screamed, fought the cuffs, and when his wife saw him dragged away, she jumped right in, turning the arrest into an allout brawl in the middle of the night. >> Sorry, my radio got >> for all of you guys to come in here. No, this is my >> Don't PUT YOUR HANDS ON ME. >> CRYSTAL, RELAX. WHY IS HE TOUCHING ME? >> SO WHY ARE YOU PUTTING YOUR HANDS ON ME? >> The ass. >> Oh, and I got a All right. And just keep him downstairs. >> What the dislocated? My shoulder. MY SHOULDER. >> I got >> Oh MY GOD. MY SHOULDER. YOU >> I FELL DOWN THE STAIRS. >> OH MY GOD. >> STOP THROWING YOURSELF AROUND. STOP. >> LOOK AT HIM. LOOK AT HIM. >> I know. >> I'm not doing nothing, bro. >> Hey, Crystal, relax. >> Yeah. Help you guys get that ON CAMERA. >> SO, WHY ARE YOU ON TOP OF ME? >> CRYSTAL, if you don't relax, I'm going to place you in handcuffs. >> You're going to place me on handcuffs. >> YOU'RE NOT IN PLACE. >> WHY? I'M NOT DOING NOTHING. >> PUT YOUR HANDS. PUT YOUR HANDS ON YOUR BACK. WHAT AM I DOING? GET the off me. >> What are they doing? >> Sorry. >> Crystal, listen to me. Listen to me. Crystal, listen. Calm down. Just relax. Have to calm down. >> Crystal, relax for a second. >> Crystal, just sit up. You're hurting me. >> Okay, Crystal, sit up for a second. >> Nobody's on top of me. >> Hey, come on. Let me help you up. >> You heard me. for my kids. So why am I going this explaining something to you and then you got all down please? >> I know. Just if you calm down, I'll take you out of handcuffs. Come on. Let's go. Step down. Come on. Let's go. >> You all right? Just relax for a second. >> Make sure he's out of the way or whatever it is. >> Whoever it is. >> It wasn't even 4:00 a.m., but the chaos was deafening. The kids got dragged into the madness, stuck between two parents who seemed born to battle each other. Strangely, the children stayed quiet. Not out of bravery, but because they were used to it. For them, violence wasn't shocking. It was just another day at home. >> Calm down and be quiet. >> Okay. Well, just please let me go because you're not listening to me. >> Let go of me. >> Listen to me. >> Tell your mom to let GO OF ME. WHY AM I UNDERING? >> YOU HAVE TO LISTEN ME IN MY OWN HOUSE. I'M THE VICTIM. I GOT A LAWYER. Watch >> 15 ON ME. DON'T PUT YOUR HANDS ON ME. >> YOU NEED TO LISTEN CUZ YOU DON'T PUT YOUR HANDS ON ME. YOU JUSTING PUT YOUR HANDS ON ME IN MY HOUSE. >> WHY ARE YOU SO I KNOW MY [ __ ] RICE. You're going to go. It doesn't matter. I know my rice and you're I know my rice and I know you guys all got it recorded and you know you [ __ ] up. Don't relax. Okay, that's fine. I COULD TELL THAT YOU GUYS are all baby cops. >> Crystal, relax. You have >> Let me go, please. Cuz my >> I will, but you have to calm down. >> I'm calm over here. >> And stop interrupting us. >> I will. All right. >> Listen to me. I don't want to take you to jail cuz how many kids do you have upstairs? >> I got three kids upstairs. I'm in school right now. >> Do you need to go to jail for a felony? >> No. >> So, can you calm down for your kids and yourself? >> Yeah. >> Can you please do that? >> I'm done. Yes. >> Okay. If I take you out of handcuffs, >> I promise. Will you sit down on the couch and just >> Yes, I will. But my shoulder >> cuz I don't want to take you to jail. >> I know you don't. And you have a camera. I didn't push you, officer. >> If you're going to continue If you're going to continue and you know it's the truth. >> If you're going to continue Why are you >> You're going to go to jail. I'm not stand up. >> Why? No. Please stop. I'm sorry. Please. Why am I going TO JAIL FOR? WHY? >> Only when DCFS was mentioned and the career shattering consequences that could follow did the wife finally back down. Her cooperation wasn't about respect for the law. It was pure fear of losing what mattered most. She was led to the patrol car while her husband still refused to give in. >> I didn't DO NOTHING. YOU'RE TRYING TO ARREST ME, BRO. I didn't do nothing. YOU PUSHED. >> NO, I DIDN'T. I WATCHED YOU. YOU GUYS GOT CAMERAS. I didn't do nothing. YOU HELP ME. I didn't do nothing. Officer, you >> y'all me up. I CAN'T SEE OUT ON MY RIGHT EYE. >> OPEN YOUR EYE UP. >> I CAN'T SEE it on my right eye. You feel happy? >> Cuz it's closed. >> YOU BLINDED ME. >> I didn't blind you. I did not blind you. >> He is intoxicated. >> All right. All right. >> And why don't you fight with us? >> All right. >> And fight with you. You came when I was laying in my bed with my son. How How am I supposed to fight you? >> They don't care. They care. >> I don't care. You're a bum ass [ __ ] rookie. [ __ ] out of here. >> I've been dealing with you for 5 years. I know. >> You It doesn't matter. >> Me enough. You bum ass white cop. >> He said his shoulder. >> LOOK AT Y ALL Y'ALL WHITE. ALL OF Y'ALL WHITE. >> DO YOU WANT TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL? >> For what? >> I don't know. Because you're hurt. You said you can't open your eye. Do you want to go? >> Oh, my eye can't even see out of my right socket. So, do you want to go up there or no? >> For what? >> To get checked out. >> Check out this other one. >> Okay. >> To get checked out. >> That's why we're here, man. >> Do you want to go to the hospital to get checked out and they can see what's going on? >> Get your eye checked out. >> I was sleeping with my son with this ranch. You run up the stairs, violated me. I'm sleeping with my son in the bed. Who are you? >> Officer Thorn Girl. >> You're a [ __ ] >> Okay. >> How would you feel if somebody came up your stairs and violated your rights? >> Well, I'm not. laying with my son in bed sleeping. My son is screaming. Daddy, why are they hurting you? >> He did not say that. I was there the whole >> You a [ __ ] >> Crystal, I didn't want to take you here. >> No, that's what the you wanted though. >> It's not what I wanted. I actually think you're >> victim here. >> I think you're a good person. I didn't want to take you here. No, you you don't think that because I No, the reason why you arrested me cuz you did not like the way I was talking to you and I think >> No, that's not true. You're not guilty until you're proven guilty in court. >> Though I'm guilty >> until you're proven guilty in court. >> WHERE ARE MY KIDS? WHERE ARE MY KIDS? >> I told you already, Crystal. >> They're going to GO WITH SOME DFS. I'M A GOOD MOM AND I'ming here. >> Both were booked into jail. The wife now faces charges of aggravated battery to a peace officer and resisting arrest, a class 4 felony in Illinois, carrying 1 to 5 years behind bars and fines up to $25,000. The husband faces aggravated battery to a peace officer as well, but at the harsher class 2 felony level, 3 to 7 years plus the same steep fine. And with DCFS stepping in, their children's future hangs in the balance. So here's the real question. Should they also face child endangerment charges? Drop your thoughts in the comments below. On September 12th, 2024, what was supposed to be a calm child visitation at the Stow Library was suddenly disrupted when police showed up. The mother involved wasn't just any visitor. She had six outstanding warrants hanging over her head. And right there, in what should have been a safe space, everything unraveled into chaos. >> I don't know if you guys can long or at least No, I'm sorry. >> Okay, that's fine. I get it. >> I know it's going to be upset, but >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> She's got to do what she's got to do. So, >> right. Unfortunately, >> interesting that you guys got it down. >> Mhm. >> She's going to think we did this. That's okay. It's not your fault, >> right? >> Yeah. I mean, we'll tell her that it definitely wasn't you, but uh >> but we can't tell her who got we got the tip. I get it. >> Yeah. So, she doesn't Is this her purse right here? Who How did she get here? >> Her car she drove I we all met here. I got from daycare and >> Who are these other two ladies? >> So, one is my coworker JC and the other lady is um the on the case. >> Oh, okay. All right. >> This is the first time she's seen in person since like April 27. >> Gosh. Yeah. scary and avoidant towards us. So, >> she's what? >> She's avoidant towards us. So, >> the Oh, the mom is well, we'll definitely tell her it wasn't you guys, but um yeah, we tried to give her a few minutes, you know, half hour to spend time with the kid, but >> Sure. No, I I appreciate that. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. I mean, I'm not going to stop trying to stop you guys. I mean, she's got some business that she's got to take care of, you know. >> Where my lean work? >> Yeah. >> Hello. >> How's her is her health okay? Does she have any health issues? >> I'm not sure. >> Okay. >> Um, so we hate to do it like this. Okay. But um you got a business that you haven't taken care of, you know. So, >> no, no, we don't want you to get upset in front of your daughter cuz then your daughter's going to get upset. Okay. >> She Listen, she they had nothing to do with this. So, we got it. We got to tip. Okay. Baby, >> terrified of being taken in. She denied, dodged, and clung desperately to the visit as if it were her last lifeline. But those six warrants told the truth she couldn't bury. When officers asked for her purse, she exploded, turning a quiet reunion into a full-blown confrontation. >> I'm being honest with you. They have no idea. >> Um Okay. Can you can you come come with us if she needs to? >> Um if you go into the bathroom, we've got to take take the purse. Okay. >> Why? >> Because you're going into the bathroom. >> I have to use the bathroom. >> We don't want to do this in front of your daughter. >> Seriously, we don't want to do this in front of your daughter. Can you just not with us? You know I can do this for anybody. >> I just want to use the bathroom. >> I don't really want you. >> Fine. Fine. I'm not going to be able to see my daughter, though. >> Number one, you need to calm down. Okay. I understand what's going on. >> You got business to take care of since you're a baby from your other job. Okay. >> We didn't want to do this over. Okay. >> You shouldn't have. >> Well, we got a tip and we have we got legal issues. You have to take care of this after. >> No, we couldn't have. >> Why? because we're here >> and you might want to visit her then >> you you know you got a chance to visit her if you want. You can say goodbye but you have to give us your purse. >> I want to see my baby. >> Okay. >> Can I say goodbye at least? I have 10 minutes. >> Can you give me the purse? >> Wait after. >> No, cuz you're not going to let me see her. >> Give me the purse and then you can say goodbye to her. >> I'm pregnant. >> No. Okay, we're not going to do it then. Let's walk. >> Get off me. Off me. >> Get off me. Don't do this in front of you. >> I'm pregnant. Get on me. Don't fight with us. >> Please stop. I don't want to go. >> We don't want to do this this way. >> Please don't do this. >> Please stop. >> I'm begging you. Please. >> We're not going to hurt you. Please get off me. >> You can't run with us anymore. >> I'm pregnant. >> We're not going to PLAY THIS GAME. >> PLEASE GET OFF ME. >> WE'RE NOT GOING TO PLAY THIS GAME. >> NO. PLEASE. I want to see my daughter. >> Okay. We're not going to play games. >> Can I see her? >> You've seen her? I want to say IBC loss. >> Unfortunately, because you weren't able to maintain your cool, it's not going to help. >> She was pregnant and yet her rage burned hotter than her fear for her own child. She fought harder for that purse stuffed with drugs than she did for her baby. The contrast was striking. She spoke of wanting a daughter, but showed up late and carried chaos instead of care. >> Yeah. Okay. >> Okay. >> Come on. There's no reason for now. Now you're making this more difficult than I >> please help me. >> Okay, we're going to walk with you. You have to be cuffed, though. You got all these warrants and stuff. Okay, >> let's take a purse, too. >> Yeah, I want to use the bathroom. >> She's got something in her purse THAT SHE GET. >> HEY, don't kick me. I don't feel good. >> Don't kick me. I don't FEEL after me. Get off me. Please get the first fine for now. At least get her hands. >> I don't have my first down. >> I want to see my daughter. >> We really wish you wouldn't have gotten like this in front of your daughter. >> No, you're fine. We need to stand you up. Okay. I can't help you with my daughter. >> We're going to help you out. Come on. One, two, three. Let's walk around. >> Help me. >> Sy, why? >> I love you, Beans. She's really, >> did you cut yourself? Help me. Listen, we do need to get this purse. Okay, right here. Calm down. >> You need to relax. This is a little crazy. >> I'm going to catch more charges. Okay, this is this is unnecessary, right? Yeah. Go take not around here. Do you hear me? >> Going to reach into your purse. YOU UNDERSTAND ME? GET OFF ME. YOU'RE >> NOT GOING TO REACH INTO YOUR PURSE. >> PREGNANT, clutching her stash like it was treasure, she tried to use her condition as leverage. Kicking, resisting, even reaching into the purse mid struggle, she turned the moment into a reckless game of danger, forcing officers to escalate. How much sick you watch? Ready. Ready. HOW MUCH YOU WANT? GET that out of there. Calm down. >> You're pregnant. We don't want to hurt you. >> Hey, just calm down. >> It's locked up, dude. >> Help me. >> It's locked up. Okay. >> I don't want to be alive. >> Please help me. Let me check her in. Good. >> You got gloves? >> No, that's negative. We're fighting with this female. Not right now. >> She doesn't have any pockets. >> Throw me a squad, please. From the library. >> Okay, library. >> All right. Help me. >> Sit on a bench or something. >> Help me. >> Got a cot. We'll just lift her up to it. >> She's got a bunch of warrants. Escape cleaning and stuff like that. >> And she just pain or size is what she keeps saying. She's complaining of pain. >> She's probably got right here. Stepped on the stem. >> Oh my god. I can't I can't My stomach I feel like something. >> Yeah, there's there's stuff in there, Sam. Huh? Well, I didn't I apologize for not going. >> Yeah, I'm just clear clear. >> Watch out for near that. >> I can make a call. >> That was a big one. >> The police didn't just cuff her and leave. They called in paramedics to ensure the unborn child was safe. At the hospital, softer words replaced the shouting. And when the storm finally broke, the regret crept in. Quiet, but too late. You have many felony warrants. Okay. Well, >> only have two felony warrants. No, >> you got six felony warrants. Okay. Where? >> Um, Sugar Valley. You got a couple. I'm trying I'm just trying to explain it to you. I'm just trying to explain it to you. Okay. Several felonies plus Okay. Maybe there you get six warrants at least. >> I know. Okay. You're going to have some charge from today for us. Okay. Cuz you can't just refuse to be taken into custody and trying to kick us. >> You certainly can't. Listen to me. Listen to me. You can absolutely not say you're going to shoot us while reaching into your purse and I drew my gun on you and you're pregnant and that could have gone very very bad. Okay. >> You can't do that stuff. >> All right. So, please I understand you're upset about these things. But number one, they're not going away. All right? You got to go take care of them >> and don't cash more charges as you're taking care of them. Okay? So, um I'm not going to sit on you. I only have mismeter charges on you. Okay? That my department's not going to allow me to sit here on over time to watch you. Okay? Um, I would highly suggest once you get out of the hospital and take care of your your baby and everything and all everything that's going on, you take care of this stuff. Okay. >> How can I do it? Can you help me? >> You need to go to the course that has the warrants. >> Can you do this for me before you leave? >> Can you write me a piece of paper of what where I should go when I get out? >> I would way to do it for you, >> okay? >> Is to go during the week during regular business hours so that the court is open. A lot of these you have to be arraigned. You have to see a judge, >> right? >> If you get picked up outside hours, they're going to hold you and then it just take forever. Okay. I don't want to do that. >> She's been ruining my life like holding a a something on top of me, >> you know. >> Mhm. >> I'm so embarrassed of how I just behaved. >> Okay. >> So, they can remove the warrant, get you in front of a judge, and then they might have to book you and things like that. But, >> okay. >> Um, that's the easiest, sure, quickest way to do it. >> Okay. >> Call ahead, go to the court, get booked, get arranged, get all that stuff out of the way. >> Make sure I have some money for bonds and stuff. >> Bond if you need it. Make sure you got transportation. You can't drive, you're suspended, so don't don't get in trouble going up there. Okay. >> Oh, and they're suspended. Well, >> you're suspended. Yeah, cuz they have the warrants. >> All the warrants. Yeah. So, >> I didn't get that suspended me. >> Yeah, you're probably going to have quite quite some trouble to get your license back. You got to take care of the stuff first. >> Am I going to get a ticket for driving today? >> Not today. We didn't see you drive. >> Okay. Okay. >> You're going to get charges for the fighting with us and stuff. Okay. So, um that's how you do it. >> During the week, during during hours, call those places. Let's go up there. >> All right. Thank you. >> In the end, she was booked on charges of resisting arrest and threatening an officer after claiming she'd shoot them on top of six outstanding warrants. If convicted, she faces prison time for the felonies already stacked against her, plus the new charges waiting to pile on. And just as officers put out the flames of this armed fury, they soon found themselves face tof face with someone who thought they had the right to play investigator. On July 25th, 2023, a concerned citizen called police after spotting a running car with someone inside asleep in a way that didn't look right. At first, it seemed like a welfare check, but when officers arrived, the story twisted into something far more alarming. Ma'am, ma'am. Ma'am, are you okay? Are you all right? Okay. Do you need any medical? What's going on? Oh, can you sit down for me real quick? I just want to make sure you're okay. You're all right. Just come on. Step out for me. >> Okay, I'm coming out. Okay, I >> Okay, I'm just go ahead and step out for me. >> I haven't been driving and I'm about to step out, but my car is count like >> Okay, come on. Step out for me. Okay, >> I I will. >> I got to put your foot down onto the tree. >> I'm not trying to like Are you kidding me right now? I was asleep. >> I need you to step out of the car. I'm going to I just >> Excuse you. >> Ma'am, come on. Step out. >> I am >> I wasn't driving and I am >> Okay, ma'am. I need you to just go and step out. >> I am. >> Okay, step out. Ma'am, step out. >> I am. Excuse you. >> Come on. We're going to >> I'm not I need to grasp some Shut the door. >> Understand? I'm not driving the car. I'm >> We're here to make sure you're okay. >> I'm fine. I'm What is the issue? >> No, I don't. >> I was asleep. >> Okay, I understand that. Somebody told me, "Listen, >> that was they were concerned cuz you the car was running and you were outside their house." >> This car was not running. >> Okay. All right. >> Okay, that's fine. What else do we need? >> Do you have your ID on you? >> No, it's I'm I'm literally waiting for >> back in the car right now. >> I'm not going to sit in the wet grass. This is not okay. I'm in my car. What do you need from me? What do you need? I'm not doing anything wrong. >> Yelling and screaming. >> I'm not yelling and screaming. So, what am I doing wrong? >> Yeah. >> What am I doing wrong? >> I promised you. Okay. What am I doing wrong? >> All right. There's no reason for you to yell and >> I'm not yelling. I'm in my car. I'm doing my own thing. >> Okay. >> Do I need to call my uncle? >> Do I need to call my father? Cuz I feel like I need to. You're you're you're literally stopping me where there's no nothing. Okay. The woman leaned on passive denial, stalling, dodging, creating confusion. When pressed, she lashed out, projecting blame, yelling about legality, attacking officers credibility, anything to derail the arrest. >> Listen to me. At this point in time, I want >> You're harassing me. >> I want to check your eyes to make sure that you're okay to drive. >> I wasn't driving the vehicle. >> No, I want to call my attorney. >> This is not okay. >> I was just sleeping. >> No, we're past that point. And I was not driving a vehicle. What is going on? >> Can I check your eyes real quick? >> I was just asleep and I wasn't with No. This is unbelievable. >> Is this a simple giving me for a second? >> I'm not arguing with you. No, you're you're pushing yourself up on me and I feel like it's not okay and I know my rights. If you keep walking off, you're going to have to get put in handcuffs and I don't want to do that. >> For what? For what? >> You're not free to go right now and you're not listening. >> Free to go. For what? >> All right, let me explain. >> Free to go for what? Honey, >> explain this to you, baby. I have to explain this to you. Okay. >> What? What do you need to explain? I was asleep in my car. >> I haven't drove a motorcycle. >> Stop talking. I'm trying to explain it to you. I'll get to all that. I'll explain it to you so you understand. You got to stop talking. Okay. >> Listen, you're voluntary. But if you refuse to participate, if you're arrested for DUI, that refusal can be used against you. >> I wasn't driving a ma'am. >> Ma'am, I'm going to explain to you. >> I'm not driving a motor vehicle. You're forcing yourself on me. I know my rights. I need you to stop talking for one second so I can explain this to you. Look, I want to give you every chance to show me that you're not impaired so we can get out of here. >> I'm not impaired. Do you want to know what happened? This man right here cheated on me. >> Okay, >> he cheated on me. I'm waiting here. You No, I have every right to. With all due respect, I'm >> going back in that car. >> Okay. Excuse me. I have every right to because you asked >> participate in these field sobriety tests. You're Are you trying to force me right now? >> I am explaining to you what's going to the consequences if you do or you don't. >> I'm not driving a motor vehicle. >> Caught sleeping in a running car at 4:00 a.m. She fiercely denied driving and refused a field sobriety test. The absurd denials only gave officers more reason to act. >> You guys are really really like >> Listen to me. I'm giving you a chance. >> You're forcing me. You're not giving me the chance. You're forcing me from my vehicle. >> Ma'am, I'm >> Excuse me. My car was not Hold on. Stop. Stop. I am not resisting. Why are you doing this right now? >> Cuz I giving you opportunities to operate and you're not. >> This is not okay. I have on my car. You don't know who my uncle is and you don't care. It doesn't have any matter on what we're doing here right now. >> I'm not doing anything. I was in my vehicle. >> Why are you guys doing this? >> Why? All right, we're going to go a little Why are we >> Excuse me, ma'am. Why are we doing this? WHY ARE YOU guys doing this to me? I know. This is This is forcing me against my will, please. If convicted, she faces fines of $500 to $2,000 and a driver's license suspension of at least 180 days. On August 29th, 2025, police were flooded with 911 calls about a man exposing himself in public right in front of children and passing traffic. When officers arrived, the situation instantly turned tense, shaking the entire neighborhood. >> Got some money today and took 50. Now I lost my wallet in her daughter's car. >> Okay. And I kind of backed up a little bit cuz I didn't want to, you know, >> from the first contact, her intoxication was obvious. Unsteady on her feet, slurred speech, scattered answers. Her aggression wasn't calculated. It was impulsive, driven by raw emotion. Even a simple question about seating set her off. Her anger magnified by alcohol >> her to get angrier. >> Um, where are you from? >> Yeah. Where? >> Florida. >> No. >> From where? What? What state? >> Okay. What state? >> Seriously. And she kept it up and kept it up and then she whacked me and then my friend stepped in and and and then she hit her and then she and my wine spilled a little bit the first time she hit me and then she hit me two more times. The third time my wine went all over the other gentlemen. >> Okay. I'm just trying to figure out your Marsha. Okay, just like I said, just relax. You're Marcia Foster from where? >> Florida. >> Florida. Okay. And then that lady came up and got in my friend's face saying, "These effing seats are taken. You're not getting our effing seats." And my friend tried to back up. And then um she started pushing her. So I said, "Hey, stop." >> Are you with family? >> No. >> Uh friends? >> Yeah. >> Are you by yourself? >> Yes. >> Okay. So you're just here by yourself? >> Yes. >> Okay. All right. end up chatting with another woman who had the exact same experience with her at a different table because this person >> okay >> the aggressor >> had sat down and got verbally into it with other people at a table and I don't know if she got physical with that woman or not but that was around probably 6:30 6:45 >> you're cute 21 >> I like this 1065 text IP by name and date of birth out of She was doing this to me, pushing me like this. I'm sorry. Sorry. >> I watch cops. They say not to. >> You're all right. You're all right. >> That's my boyfriend. >> Do you know her? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> That's my boyfriend. >> Okay. >> That's my boyfriend. >> Okay. >> And if not, >> with her inhibitions stripped away, her emotions boiled over. Insecurity or drunken delusions of power may have fueled it, but the result was the same. Every polite word sounded like a threat, and her answer was violence. >> 1875. Wait, wait. >> 19. >> That's fine. Just sit here. All right. So, just just take a seat. Well, >> yeah. Just just lean right there. >> Okay. I understand. Yeah. >> I fast forward food line. Uh my husband's in line for food. I joined him in line. I as I joined the altercation with the other two victims was going down. And I said, "Is she being aggressive to you?" Cuz she did this to me earlier and they said, "Yes." And while I was having that conversation with one of them, she started physically assaulting the other woman. >> Her name is Mara. Mara. >> Okay. Monster. Marsha Foster. >> Yes. >> Does she have a middle name? >> I don't know. >> You don't know? Okay. Do you know her birthday by chance? >> No. February um turning 50. The cops are taking me away. >> Yeah, cuz you're acting poorly. Okay. Do you know if it's on the 18th? >> I'm sorry. >> Her birthday's on the 18th. >> It might be. >> Yeah. We're just trying to figure out who she is, but she's not coming back. >> That's what I was trying to avoid cuz I didn't want to be, you know, punched or, you know, hurt, you know, it was just pushing and whine everywhere and, >> you know. >> Okay. Do you Where's your ID at? >> Okay. Why' you do that? All right. He's trying to pull you off point. Did she strike you? She did push you. Okay. All right. When is that once, twice, several times? >> Um I think I got just pushed once. My girlfriend got pushed a couple of times and the other lady got struck in the face with a closed kiss. >> Okay. Is she is she out of Florida or is she out of state? With me right now. >> Okay. But I'm saying like does she have a license out of the other state? >> No, I can go upstairs and get a license for you. >> But it's out of Florida. >> No, it's Florida. >> It's Florida. Okay. All right. I didn't know she had out of state. >> You want me to get it? >> Um I mean if you're able to. >> Yeah, I'm able to. >> Um yeah, I guess if you can just so we can get our at least identified. So I appreciate that. >> All right. Thank you, sir. and then uh went after her I think three times and then the wine spilled went all over the back of my husband's jacket went all over my bag u went both the other victims got completely >> witness statements became critical each one confirming the same story multiple independent accounts painted her behavior as a consistent pattern of aggression that was enough to give officers clear grounds for arrest >> all right just real quick I need you to come with me okay I'm going to I'm going to All right All right, just really quick. >> I'm going to just take you. Okay, then you'll be okay. You'll be all right. All right, you're just a little too drunk. Okay. >> When we first walked in and they were doing the national anthem, she was already intoxicated. She was acting like she was >> Okay. What time was that? >> Chris, so when did they play the national anthem? when we first got here like maybe 20 hours >> and she's like acting like it's a rock concert just respecting >> Okay. All right. So, >> all right. We're just going to walk over to my car. Okay. >> All right. You're doing all right. I'll help you. >> And I approached her, said, "I need your information." And then she came at me and somebody was between us and she came at me and then hit me with a closed fist. >> Okay. Where did she hit you? >> Uh where did she hit me? She didn't get me in the face. Where did she hit me? >> I think she got me in the chest. >> Okay. >> Um I'm not pressing charges because I understand how completely drunk she is. We're also new to the area. >> Just going to not press charges at the moment. >> Okay. >> Um I you know, um I don't really want to ruin somebody's life if she's >> drunk, but she did hit me and officer, the other gentleman, >> Cooper. >> Yes. >> One victim didn't want to press charges, acknowledging her drunken state, but demanded compensation for ruined clothing and a damaged handbag. Still, declining to prosecute didn't erase the crime itself. Police had both the right and the duty to arrest, to preserve order, and prevent repeat violence. I know this is a restitution thing and not a pressing charges thing, but we would like her to compensate for the ruined items. That suit is not going to get >> right. And as officer Cooper or actually Major Cooper Major, sorry >> instructed I said I said it, too. Um, as he said, that'll be something the court deals with. Okay. Right. >> Um, can I get a phone number for you and then I'll have you just sit down inside? All right. Sorry. Watch your watch. It's all loose. Okay. >> Watch your head, sweetie. When you sit inside, just try to Yeah. Just take a seat back. Okay. Just take a seat back. Right there. All right. And then put your legs right up in there. Okay. >> All right. Perfect. Thank you. All right. Just sit tight. Okay. All right. Uh me and the fire chief just went through the line >> with our food. As I enter, I see a commotion to my right and I see her punch two of the ladies and try to swing at a third. Okay. >> All right. She's highly intoxicated. She could barely stand. She tried to grab and put her arms around me several times. >> Um >> definitely we have disorderly in talks. Correct. All right. And then depending on what they want, I know one wants to and the other two are kind of iffy, but >> depending on what they say. I say [ __ ] either way. I I saw her physically. >> You physically saw at least two cows. So, >> all right. So, two cows battery. >> Yeah. >> All right. That sounds good. >> But we have we have enough. She's highly intoxicated. We're probably going to have to get her shouldered up at the hospital. Yeah. >> Are you going to strip club? >> This trip? >> Yeah. In the end, she was booked for disorderly conduct while intoxicated and assault. Penalties could include fines, restitution for the victims, or jail time, depending on how the court weighs the severity of her actions. >> Hey, I just got here. I'm trying to do my job. Please let me do my job. >> On January 28th, 2024, a panicked witness called the cops after watching a woman go off the rails and attack a teenager handing out flyers. In just seconds, things spun completely out of control. And here's how it all went down. >> So, as I'm putting up my groceries, I heard stuff. >> Stay right there. >> He gave me this. >> Stay right there. >> Leave me alone. >> Okay, stay right there. I'll be talking to you in just a second. >> So, my kids are out riding their bikes. So, I heard yelling. I'm like, "Okay, one of my kids are fighting." Whatever. Come out. And she was like going crazy. She tried to steal his bike. Like, it was her. She was the aggressor. >> Okay. So, I I I saw the same thing. I was I'm here. I'm on my way up to Montgomery. Um and I saw these two uh in some sort of verbal argument and >> hey, stop please. >> And then she physically so she began to chase him and then she went after the bike. And it was when he took the his bike back from her that she she struck him several times and he just kind of shield himself, walk down the street. That's when I stopped. Um >> I stopped him. I'm I just was like, I don't know what to do. Can Can you call the cop? >> So you saw her hit him. >> She went into this house right here. Uh he started walking away. >> I'm going to go back in my house. >> Where do you live at? >> Right there where I told him to stand. Just my stuff's open. I don't >> You're fine. You're fine. I I'll come get some information from you in a minute. Sorry. >> Who done it? >> 10 floor. >> No, not her. Not the one behind the car. The one behind >> Who done it? Over there. >> Stay over there. >> Stay over there. >> Go get her. >> Stay over there. >> Find her son. >> Let me do my job. Please let me let me do my job. >> Got a phone call that somebody's attacking my son >> and I'm trying to find out what's going on. I just showed up, too. >> Well, don't let her go, >> sir. Hey, I'm standing here. Go get her. >> Stand over there. Let me talk to your son. I don't know what's going on. >> She tried to attack him. >> You weren't here. >> I just >> You weren't here. Let me talk to him, sir. Please. >> I've got to do my job. >> Please. >> Even with the tension running high, the deputy stayed calm and professional. He reassured the boy's father, who of course was furious that his son had been assaulted. That small act showed he understood the emotions in play, even as he collected the victim's statement. Please >> tell me what's going on, bud. >> I was trying to I was uh putting flowers all up on houses. >> Thank you. >> I went over there to that house and I was about to put a flower up. She started talking to me and I couldn't understand what she was saying. So, I came closer to her and she was like asking questions like, "My dad work. My dad works. Why so why am I trying to do this?" and all that. Uh and then she uh just stole my like stole my fires and I was like, "Can I get those back, please?" So she grabbed he had hit a bunch of them. She grabbed a bunch of money in >> this orange thing. He's you know trying to make >> and I'm good with that. That's that's okay. >> And then she ran over there to that house. Uh >> get his information please. >> She went over to that house or that one. I can't really see too well cuz my she stole my glasses too. >> Where she still got them? >> Did she break them? I >> I can't tell you. She stole >> took them off her face. >> Yeah. I'm telling you she tried to collect my hands on >> you guys do me a favor. Hang here for a second. Okay. Yes, sir. >> She said she lived here supposedly. He went She went into this house. Oh, here's his glasses. All right. Yes. How you doing, sir? Come in. >> Can I talk to you for a moment? >> Can you tell me what happened over here? >> Unbelievable. Thank you. >> Sure. >> Related to this this guy over here. She doesn't It's not her husband. She's just saying. >> So, she just lied about it. >> Yes. >> She went a random stranger. That's why she ran back there. She >> She lives in this house. She does live in this house. That's He just confirmed that. The next step is I want to know what you want to pursue charges against her. >> Is she mentally handicapped or something? It >> that's should honestly is not it's something I can give you to tell you to make a decision. >> They're telling me she sound she sounded like she's slurring and up. >> Mhm. >> That's Yes. Put her ass in jail. >> Okay. If she's mentally handicapped or something, like >> where's her people looking after her? Like, you know what I mean? >> She's not mentally handicapped. Like, >> okay. If she's not mentally handicapped, man. Yeah. She like, you don't put your hands on a minor. He's out here trying to do good. All this boy does is go to church, go to the gym, and go home. >> I get it. You know, I'm school. >> What I'm going to do is I'm going to give you some paperwork. I need to get a written statement from you. Okay. Yeah. Grab that. I got that from him. >> At first, the dad's anger was clear, but he still asked whether the woman might have a disability before hearing the charges. That small moment of compassion stood out in the middle of all the chaos right after the cops confronted her to set the record straight. >> Hello. >> Yeah. >> What uh what happened with you and this young fellow over here? >> Come to my house and said, "Sir, get away from my house." >> Okay. >> He said, "I'm selling a sir." >> So, he came to knock on your door. >> Yeah, I did. >> Okay. Then what? Then what happened? >> I gave you the paperwork. >> Uh-huh. >> I I was so scared. He said, "I'm going to get you a sub, sir. Leave me alone. The paperwork's here." I ran into my neighbor's house. I'm scared. He called 911. I I hope he did. I ran into my house and I went to bed. But um yeah, he he scared me. >> How did he scare you? >> Um did you get the paperwork? >> Mhm. >> Okay. So, leave me alone. >> But how was he scaring you? What was he That was scary. >> Banging on the door. Went around the corner. Bang. I live by myself. I'm scared. Live here. I pay for this house. >> Simple. Okay. Well, finish your story. >> No, I'm good. Are you good? >> No, not yet. >> Huh? Okay. >> So, he's knocking on your door. >> He won't sell you something. >> You won't leave my house. >> And what made you run across the street to your neighbor's house? >> What would you say? I live >> I'm asking you. I wasn't here. >> So, I mean, I'm just trying to understand what was going on that would make you run to your neighbor's house. >> Let him figure it out. >> Go inside yet. >> You're under arrest. >> For what? >> For battery on a juvenile. >> A juvenile against? >> Yeah. He's only 17 years old. Don't pull away and don't resist. >> I told him, "Get out of my yard." Well, when you call him over to your yard, >> I did not >> ask him to come to your yard and then you go break into your neighbor's house >> without permission and try to destroy his property >> that you took out of his hand. >> My neighbor said that. >> You did that. You did that. >> The woman tried flipping the script, claiming she was the victim, spinning some wild story about the boy threatening her. It was a flatout lie meant to dodge accountability. When the truth unraveled, she shifted gears into defiance, refusing to face what she'd done. >> All right. >> Wow. >> Walk this way. >> Can I get my shoes on? >> You can walk this way. >> You got I'm in my own home. >> Unfortunately, you weren't in your own home when you battered a juvenile. >> He comes and told me to get the hell out of my yard again. I'm going to get my dad. >> You're my dad. >> Did you get your dad? >> You zip your lips. Did >> you get your dad? >> Have a seat. Have a seat. >> Have a seat. >> Pay for it. >> Have a Have a seat. >> Now you got to resist him. Get in the car. >> I'm not arresting you. >> No, I'm arresting you. >> No, I'm not. You have a 148 or nothing? >> No, it's a it's going to be the owner of the house. I'm >> not arresting you. >> What's your first name? >> Just give me one second. >> What's your first name? >> What's yours? >> You're going to get charged if you don't give me your name. You're required to tell me your name. >> I'm sorry. >> What's your name? >> Deputy Moore. What's your name? >> Can I write that down? These cubs are hurting me really bad. >> Well, unfortunately, that's your fault. What is your name? >> I'm sorry. >> Okay. Damn, I am home. >> All right. She is not having mental issues. She has uh drinking issues. Oh, hell no. him up. >> What I need with dad's permission is I need you to fill out this information. >> Officers noted she'd been drinking, which clearly fueled her reckless behavior. But alcohol doesn't excuse assault. It only made her actions more erratic, especially once she was inside the patrol car. >> What happened? >> Uh, battery on a juvenile. >> Nice. young man there passing out flyers uh for work. She according to this witness, she called him to her property, >> say get back here basically. >> Basically, and then stole his flyers, came over here, she grabbed his glasses off of his face in this front yard. So, you definitely have a battery there. She saw him her hitting him as he's trying to get away with cuz she took his bike. >> Play stupid. >> That's her. She is extremely intoxicated. So, guess who gets the Unless you're going to at least transport. >> That's fine. >> Oh my god, I can't breathe. >> Is the jail going to make me sit at a hospital. >> No, she's not that drunk. She's walking, talking. >> Okay. >> Sir, are you all right? >> Hey, can I call 911? >> Your name's Tina? >> Yes. >> Okay, Tina, we're going to go to my car. Okay. >> Yeah. >> Are you going to Are you going to be cool? >> Not I'm not resisting. I know. No, you're not. You're not right now. You're good. All right. Step out for me. >> What am I getting out for? >> I just got to put you in my car just for the time being. >> For what? I'm telling you, this guy come to my home. >> We'll talk about it. >> I told you. >> Yeah, we still got time to talk. Yeah, I'm going to put >> I gave you the paper. >> Yep. >> Can you Can you release these? >> Let me see how bad they are. >> They're loose. >> Nope. They're good. Here, once you sit in my car, I'll loosen them. Okay. >> What's this on here? >> I don't know. >> That's nothing to do with me. >> Nope. I'll loosen them for you once we get over here. >> Okay, Granny. Thank you. >> Yeah, it's >> my home. >> Yeah, that is your house. Come on. I'm >> In the end, she was hauled off to jail, charged with assaulting a minor, theft, and trespassing. Since this all went down on a public street, she could also be hit with resisting arrest. If convicted, she's looking at anything from a few days in jail to a few hundred bucks in fines. On April 25th, 2025 in Ohio, police were called after a woman accused a man at a liquor store of selling alcohol to minors. An arrest was demanded on the spot, but when officers showed up, the whole thing took an unexpected turn. >> When you guys here alone, she says I'm telling the miners, which I'm not. If you don't have ID on >> you want to leave the property. >> Hi. >> Hi. Are you the police officer that I got called? Okay. >> Sure am. >> Okay. I see him selling to a minor. And what did he look like again? What was that? >> Sold a cigar. >> No, he sold beer to a minor. He goes to school over there at Akanu. >> Okay. Call the state liquor patrol. >> Call the state liquor patrol. I will do that. So you can't arrest him now? But that's what you're supposed to do as a cop, right? If >> I have evidence >> cuz you have evidence. >> I'm telling you. >> He wants you to leave the property. >> Oh, does he? Oh, does he? Really? Okay, that's fine. I would you leave the property? You >> need to arrest him? >> Yeah, if you don't leave. >> Why? I didn't do anything. >> Is it It's criminal that you're not arresting him right now after we do investigation. >> Oh, I don't know. >> She's not uh she's not really playing by the rules right now. I'm not doing anything. I called you because he's selling to my house. >> He wants you to leave the property now. >> But you're supposed to come talk to me cuz he's selling. >> I'm talking to you. >> I told you what you need to do. >> Call State Liquor. Give them a tip. >> You're supposed to call State Liquor. You're the cops. >> I don't even know what that is. >> He's looking for what? I didn't do anything. >> Ma'am, do you want to leave the property or do you want to go to jail? >> For what? Because we're telling you you need to leave. So now you're criminally trespassing. >> Why am I I can't find something. >> Okay. And they want you to leave, which is their right. They can refuse service to you. >> No, but he did something wrong. What did I do? I called you. >> They want you to leave. >> I called you. >> Ma'am, are you going to leave? >> I called you to help me. And he's trying. He tried to hit me. >> Ma'am, are you going to leave? >> He tried to hit me and you're not doing anything about it. >> The woman clearly saw herself as the victim, expecting the cops to back her up. But once the store owner identified her as the troublemaker and told her to leave, she dug in her heels. That stubborn refusal became the spark that set her legal troubles in motion. Huh? >> I didn't do anything. >> Are you trying to get by? >> Yes, they are. >> Are you going to weave? >> I don't have to. I'm staying here to buy something. >> Okay. >> He's not He's not selling anything to you, >> ma'am. Last chance. Are you >> Why is he driving the beer then? If he's not selling anything and no one's talking, >> he's not selling to you. He doesn't want to sell to you. >> How do you know that? >> He has the right to refuse service to you and ask you to leave his propert. >> But how did you know that? I didn't tell you that on the phone. >> Damn. Are you going to leave? How did you know that? How did you know that? How did you know? How did you know that? >> Yes. >> 43. >> I'm good. Yes, you are. >> No, don't drop the >> Oh, yeah. >> I can't. >> Oh, yeah. Hey, WHAT DID I DO? Help me. Help. Oh, help. Help me. Help. Okay, let's stop. You know, keep going. >> Help. HELP. I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG. >> That No, that's that's a wrap. We're going to put you in a wrap. >> Why are you going to put me in a wrap? >> Cuz you're not going in the car. >> I'm not complying CUZ I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING. I WAS AT THE STORE and he sold to a minor. When warned she'd be arrested for criminal trespass, she couldn't accept it. The lack of logic was striking. Either she didn't understand the consequences or she flat out ignored them. Her physical resistance showed the desperation and anger of someone losing control. >> You want to go in there? >> Oh, man. >> Oh, Kayla, you're fine. >> I am. Yes. Tate, it's going to hurt a little bit. >> She's talking to herself. Let's just put her in. >> What am I doing? >> I'M NOT DOING NOTHING WRONG. I CAME TO SHOP AT THE STORE. >> OKAY, LISTEN. >> LISTEN. WHAT? >> Last chance. >> Last chance. >> Get in the car. We're putting you in the wrap >> for what? I didn't >> Because you are under arrest. >> Trespass. >> Huh? >> We explained this to you. We gave you multiple lawful commands to leave the property. You did not. >> We are. Yes, we are. >> But I didn't do these things. >> Okay. >> And you're going to still wrap me up? >> Yep. >> Yeah. >> For not doing anything >> because you're being non. >> Will you get Will you get in the back seat? >> Will you sit in the back seat? Can I go? Yes, you sir. >> All right. All right. Have a seat in the back. >> Cuz it's going to get worse than I did. Exactly, Taylor. You got it. >> Okay. >> Damn. And everybody got their phones. Yes, they do. >> We just her last week. >> Oh, you know. >> Yeah. >> SHE DIED MOTHER. Rest me cuz you're all going to be on the Oh [ __ ] And they don't know spit right in their car. Oh, yeah. The white devil. That's why they don't hear me screaming. NO, THEY DON'T. Inside the squad car, she kept shouting, cursing, even talking to herself. She accused the officers of racism, grasping at anything to justify her behavior. It was chaos. An unraveling mind on full display. Ah, >> it's okay. That's even better cuz then WE DID ALL YOU'RE dumb as [ __ ] Oh, we did make up her on purpose. THAT MAKES YOU LOOK WORSE. OH, CUZ I DIDN'T DO [ __ ] OH GOD, WE GOT TO GO FOR HER. YES, YOU DO. >> We got to get her in mental health for I think it's not going to do. >> Do you know her name? >> I I do. >> I got to look it up. I got to even I got to remember what day I was there last week. >> So when you got there sitting there, she's angry that she says electric. >> So I got called for twice last week. First time she was having a full-on conversation with herself in a car window. I just let it go. Um and then we got called the second time cuz she was screaming out her window for like an hour. She was just screaming bloody murder like this. So we went up. We went in the apartment. 9year-old son's in there. >> Oh, what is this? My powers. I can make people listen too. >> You can. Oh yes. That's what we be doing. We are in them too as well. Cuz God is in everybody. You idiots. Oh [ __ ] No, I didn't. that give no cuz you got me in this hot ass motherucking car and you can't breathe in this. Oh, that's what you're trying to do. Oh, yeah. What if the I can't breathe either, Jenny? Yeah, cuz I'm just going to go to sleep. Exactly, [ __ ] Oh, she knows. Yeah, she knows. She just don't want to be in these cuts. It's only until you go to jail. Everybody's so closed. Oh, it's everywhere. Is it? And what's going on? They about to And they're actually about to fly out here. Trump and everything. Huh? No, not him. Cuz he hates us. Yes, he does. And he's happy about it. Yes, he is. But I didn't do anything. And they know that confused parents say yes. Don't be scared. It is scary. I understand. >> Her non-stop rambling suggested deeper issues, possibly mental health struggles. Officers even mentioned the possibility of sending her to a specialty court, a sign they saw her behavior as more than simple defiance. >> I don't have to go to sleep. No, you really know the hospital. Yeah, I was in and out at the hospital. Yeah, but the other day I was up and you were ah and I was faking sleep. You were? And you took me out? Yes, I did. I can't do it. Exactly. Stop not believing in yourself cuz you're scared too, aren't you? I really am. Cuz you think they're going to hit me. I do. Oh, they really are. Yes, cuz I didn't do any. And they're not looking normal. They don't know who I am. Exact. And they're like, who is this innocent and she has no w you good than that? Yes, I am. I bring them food. And they can look up that you door dash cuz that's an actual job. It is. Yes. She That's why she was trying to file taxes and it was not enough. Oh, so they told her don't do it but actually I think it was. That's why that your taxes were so low. She knows I did do that. You are. They want me to run. Yes. He's bringing out his gun. No, he's not. He's putting it away cuz he has to. Because as you bring out the gun and you shoot an innocent black girl that did nothing, you guys are Oh man, you'reing up. We're trying to fix it. They're so confused. Oh man, why don't you just kill them? We can kill them. Please, but we can't. You have to. You got to make them shoot themselves. We can do that. And you're still having fun. And you're not with an innocent one. >> You refused to leave several times. You refused to leave the property. >> I didn't leave. Cuz you guys are the ones that told me to wait. I called you. >> It's all It's all for court. >> It's all for court. >> Yep. Court right here. >> I'm not trying to. I'm just letting you know what happened. >> Yeah, I was there. It was all experience. >> Yeah, it was. In the end, she was booked on charges of criminal trespass and obstructing official business. Because she resisted arrest and refused to comply after being ordered to leave, the penalties could include fines, jail time, or both, depending on how serious the court views the case. On June 13th, 2025 in Ohio, police pulled over a car for a traffic violation. The driver had stopped past the line and drifted into another lane while turning, suspicious enough to warrant closer attention. That single moment drew officers into an investigation that turned out to be anything but simple. >> Hello, I'm officer Albert Chrysley Police. Reason I'm stopping tonight, when you were over at Dole uh at the four-way stop sign, >> you stopped. Your whole vehicle was in the crosswalk. >> Um >> I think you're right. So, and then when you turn on the lake shore, you are actually straddling both the oncoming lane and this lane. Is everything all right tonight or >> you know, I've lived here for so many years, I I got bad handed. >> Okay. Do you have people insurance with you as well? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> Yes. I was right there. >> Yeah. You know, I'm not going to >> Okay. >> I totally get it. >> You heading home tonight or? >> Yeah. I live over there on the west end. Where you coming? Where are you coming from? >> Um, where am I coming from? >> Well, I've been to like a couple places. My girlfriend had abandoned Wakanda. >> Let's see if this one is correct. >> Okay. Give me a couple minutes. I'll be right back with you. Okay. And you I don't want you to drop any stuff in there. I just want to talk to you outside the car real quick. >> Why do you want to do that? >> Uh just cuz just with all of your driving and stuff and some of the things I'm seeing, I just want to make sure you're okay. I just want to talk to you outside of the car. >> I'm actually fine. >> Well, yeah. I need I just like I said >> I I don't see anything that you that I've done. I mean I I kind of admit I'm local and I I usually just kind of just I did stop at the Dole. >> So the reason I'm the reason I'm >> stopped at the Dole thing. >> So when you stopped over at Dole in Woodstock, >> you were all in or was it? >> Yeah, it's Dole and Woodstock. You're all the way in the intersection. >> Okay. >> Well, I'm always, you know, I ride a motorcycle. >> Fair enough. But then when you're coming up and you're driving in two lanes and then when I'm hitting the lights >> lanes. >> Yeah. When you turned onto this street, you were straddling both lanes. >> No, I wasn't. >> Yes, you were. I was right behind you. >> I don't think >> so. Like I said, I just want to talk to you outside. It's not the end of the world, but I'd like to have No, no. I'm giving you a cordial I'm giving you an order so that we can have a cordial conversation. >> From the start, the officer stayed professional, introducing himself, explaining the stop. The woman was polite at first, even admitting to a bad habit while fumbling for paperwork. But the mood shifted fast when she was asked to step out of the car. >> Is when you're on a traffic stop, I have the right to ask you to step out of the car to talk to. >> I haven't been on a traffic stop at like Correct. I don't even know. >> What I'm explaining to you is yes, it's Pennsylvania versus Mims is a Supreme Court case law that says on any traffic stop, I have the right as a police officer, as long as I have you lawfully detained, which I do on two moving violations, to ask you to step out of the car to talk to. What are the moving violations? >> Improper lane in usage and improper turn on a GoPro. >> It's on a dash cam and on my body cam. >> Do you mind if I see it? >> No, because my body my body and dash cam are still doing it. >> So, you need to exit the vehicle right now. Okay. >> I not exiting the vehicle unless you show me what I did wrong. >> Okay. So, you need to exit the vehicle otherwise you're going to be obstructing and I can place you under arrest. >> Would you please mind showing me what I did wrong first? Cuz I'd like to see >> I cannot I cannot stop recording right now. What are you talking about? >> My dash cam, my body cam recording. In order to be able to show it, if you don't exit the vehicle, I'm going to open your vehicle, take you out, and place you under arrest. >> I don't think you can do that. >> I can legally do that. You'd be instructed because I've given you a lawful because I'm telling you because I'm seeing things that could be indicative of impairment. >> Well, I'd like to see what you're talking about because I don't see any reason to stop at the stop sign. >> So So come talk to me outside of the car and we can I can explain it to you. Okay. >> No, I don't like this. Now, you know, I'm hugely back the blue. We ride in all these like >> events for you guys. And I'm like, I don't understand because number one, I've been living here for I don't know, 40 years. It's just I told you it's like a bad habit that I just like drive because I know where I'm going. >> So, why are you so apprehensive about just having a conversation with me outside of your vehicle? >> I'm not apprehensive about it. I just think I know my rights. No, it's it's actually not your right. Uh you have the right to >> you have the right to remain silent. You have many rights, but the right to sit in your car after I've lawfully told you you have to get out. >> Well, you're telling me, but you're not willing to show me the evidence. >> How can I show you the evidence if you're still sitting in the car? >> How about you show me the evidence first? I'd be willing to get out of my >> When the officer cited Pennsylvania versus Mims, she snapped back, demanding proof right there on the roadside. It wasn't about facts. It was an attempt to flip the script, turning herself from the one being checked into the one calling the shots. This was the classic Karen playbook. >> No, no, no. I'm saying driver. >> I'm saying that's my dad. >> No. On stop signs, I don't put my feet down, which I admit on my Harley. >> I'm just used to that. And so I just when I'm in my little car, I kind of do the same thing. I totally admit that. >> Right. And he's >> But I didn't even roll through the stop sign. I stopped at the stop sign. I don't know what he's talking about. Like, >> so so you so >> I don't know what he's talking about. So I want to see what he's talking about. >> I can explain to you. So when we're at Woodstock and >> I want to see the evidence cuz I don't know what you're talking about. >> That's my sergeant's coming down. I'm going to tell you. So my sergeant's coming down. I'm going to tell you right now. We're not going to stop my body cam or my dash cam to show you the evidence. >> Okay. I saw it with my own eyes. That's why I waited for you to go because you were sitting in the middle of the intersection. >> I don't know what you're talking about. The middle of the intersection. I'm going to stop. >> All right. So stop. So stop sign. at a stop light at a stop light at Dole. You didn't see your lights on until after I was after Dole. And I'm like, "What? I don't know what's happening." >> Yes. So, there was a stop sign. >> Well, if you didn't like the stop sign, why didn't you pull me over after the stop sign? >> I still have to run your plate. I like to know who I'm stopping before I turn my lights on. >> What's going on, >> ma'am? So, like, like you said, you didn't have anything to drink. He's just covering our baselines with with that. So, 40 years. I love you guys. Great. >> I've been backing you guys forever. I know so many people in the police department. What is the deal? >> I like >> I've never heard of something like this where I'm >> like like you said stopping at the stop sign >> because of the driving infractions. They're just consistent with somebody. >> There's no driving infractions. >> Yes, there was. Additionally, you're fumbling with all of your documents. You're slurring your speech. I can't find my I'm like where the heck is I usually put my insurance card like >> Okay, this is what happened. >> Let Let me ask you this. Would you would you even just submit to a breathalyzed? >> No, I would not do anything because I don't know why you're even stopping me. You're not even telling me. >> She leaned on emotional appeals. I support the police and I know people in the department. She expected personal ties to earn her a pass, but the irony was clear. Her combative attitude erased every claim of support. >> Am I sergeant? So I'm I'm trying to tell you, but you're not listening. >> Seriously. >> So when I pulled you over >> I pulled you over for that one and then I follow one. You're not even >> the stop sign that that we've been talking to the Dwood. >> But you didn't even pull me over after that. >> That's when I hit my dash cam and then we kept going and then as we were coming down. >> No, you didn't even pull me over till after the stop light >> at Dolan 14. Correct. Cuz I was still running your plate. I was still following you. And then when it was a safe location to make a stop, that's why I stopped you here. >> You weren't even following me. You came on a turn after that at the stop sign. You're flashing your lights at me to turn >> to keep going. Yes. Because I was getting behind. >> I'm waiting for you. I'm at the stop sign. And you're I'm like, why are you not turning? >> Because you stopped in the So the stop line on the stop sign, right? You were all the way in the intersection. >> It's called enttrapment. If that's what you're talking about. But that's what he's talking about. Cuz I'm sitting at the stop sign waiting for the car to turn. Then he starts following me. >> I don't blow. >> Karen, here's the thing. >> Look, my name's Dave. Okay. >> What? >> My name's Dave. You can call me Dave. >> All right, >> that's fine. >> But here's the thing. >> You're on a traffic stop. >> When you get a chance to keep that, >> you're on a traffic stop right now. Officer Hobb is the one in charge of the traffic stop. He's giving you a lawful order, which we are allowed to do, for you to exit the vehicle so we can continue his investigation. If you refuse to do that, you will be arrested for obstructing an officer. >> I'm not stucking an officer by not exiting my vehicle. >> Yes, you are. He has given you a lawful order to exit the vehicle. >> I know my rights. I do not have to exit the vehicle because I know for a fact that I've done nothing wrong. >> Take your seat belt, >> Karen. Please, please. >> So, >> do that for me, please. Why do you want me to exit the vehicle? >> So he can continue his investigation. >> What investigation? >> I I've not even done anything wrong. >> When the sergeant stepped in and repeated the order, reality hit. Her tactics had failed. Frustration boiled into rage and rage into desperate resistance. Logic crumbled, leaving only pride refusing to back down. Funny how those who shout loudest about knowing their rights often end up in handcuffs. Oh man, you do have a body cam on, right? Yes, I do. We all do. >> So, I'm going to give you Karen. Is there anything I can do or say to make you exit this vehicle before you get arrested and I have to put hands on you? >> I'm thinking. I'm thinking. >> Okay, take a moment. >> So, what's going to happen right now is either you're going to get out of the car and we're going to continue our conversation and back or I'm going to put hands on you, take you out of this car, tow your car after you get arrested and taken to Crystal Lake. >> But you need to come up with a reason why you'd be doing this to me. because you're fumbling with items. You are slurring your speech. You >> I'm not slurring my speech. This is so >> I've never met you before, but that's what it appears to me. >> Oh my god, you're cracking me up. >> So So I want to make sure that you're not impaired. I want to do a couple of things to make sure you're not impaired. >> But Karen, this is this is the last opportunity I'm going to give you before I arrest you for obstructing. Do you understand? >> That's fine. >> So just step out of the car. Let's make this easy. >> And >> I'm not stepping out of the car. >> Okay, then you're under arrest >> for what? Well, can I have my Wait, hold on one second. Wait, come out of the car. >> All right. Well, we give me one second. >> You were under arrest. Get out of the car. >> Well, can I get my purse and my phone? >> Nope. We'll get it for you. You're under arrest. >> You got Just get my phone to my purse. >> Okay, Karen. >> Okay, turn around. Put your hands behind your back. >> Oh, this is fun. >> You guys crack me up. >> All you got to do is get out of the car. That's it. We're going to go to the passenger side. >> Going to do it. The reason was so you don't get arrested and so we could have a civil conversation. What? >> Okay. Well, we had a civil conversation when I was in my car. >> In the end, she was arrested facing multiple traffic violations plus resisting arrest. Penalties could range from fines to jail time depending on Ohio law and the court's decision. On February 13th, 2025 in Ohio, police got a 911 call about a drunk woman causing chaos in the street. Abandoned by two men and suspected of having been assaulted, she quickly became the center of a stormy and unpredictable scene. >> I don't know about her. >> Y'all don't know her. >> You don't know about me. >> No. >> What you talking about? >> Don't push on me. >> Don't play with me. >> You're not going to push on and I'm not going to play with you at Don't worry about where do you live at? >> Where do you live at? You're acting a fool and you're drunk. >> Stop. >> Let me tell you this. Let me tell you this. Officers tried to calm her down, hoping to piece together the truth. But her shouting, defiance, and refusal to cooperate turned every attempt into a dead end, blocking the investigation. >> I don't give a about none of that [ __ ] >> Are you going to get your information? >> I'm not giving a [ __ ] >> Turn and appreciate it. She kept pushing boundaries, provoking, insulting, refusing commands. At one point, she even claimed to be a sergeant, either as a ploy to dodge arrest or simply the ramblings of someone completely out of control. >> Somebody run you over tonight? >> Are you >> Did somebody beat you up tonight? >> Are you >> Did anybody assault you tonight? >> Are you >> Are you injured? >> Are you? Intoxication had weakened her brain's ability to regulate anything. In her paranoia, everyone looked like a threat. And when her defiance cracked, only helplessness and raw desperation remained. >> Are you okay? >> No. >> Oh, you're finally talking to us in a normal level. That's an improvement. >> Hey, lady. >> Hey, lady. Whoever sw the god is one of them. >> Okay, you can be Jane Doe then. >> No. And I'm done. In the end, she was taken to jail and charged with disorderly conduct and refusal to identify. Those charges usually mean fines or short jail time, depending on state law. On March 27th, 2025, police were flooded with 911 calls about a 5-year-old left alone in a shut off car for over an hour. The sound of a child screaming, pounding on the doors, and the blaring alarm forced officers to act fast before tragedy struck. You said he's been out here for about 45 minutes. >> I've been here. Her appointment, my client's appointment was at 6:30 and I got here about 10 minutes late and you've been here. >> The mail here says that he was parked in the back of 787 >> and it's no one in there. >> I have no idea. Okay. I'm just asking before >> go and find out if it's anyone's >> and then there somebody shut the alarm off. So >> it did go off at one point. >> It did. He tried to open the door. >> Okay. Would you obviously like our number one priority is to get the kid. Would you mind like hanging around so we can gather more information from you? >> I absolutely will. >> Okay. >> I will stay as long as you need me to. I appreciate you, man. Is this your car? Do you know whose car this is? >> 88. >> Okay. >> 88. Go ahead. >> Seems like maybe they've got it figured out. Do we have it figured out? >> No. >> The dance studio. >> It's closed. >> Cannot find what I need. I've seen somebody quite a few times pass with a dog, but nobody has nobody came up and >> it's Yeah, it's probably from one of a kind is what >> Okay. I don't know if you >> Where's your Where's your mommy at? Can you unlock the door? No. Unlock the door for me. Can you unlock the door? >> Mommy's in there. He's pointing over here. >> Okay. Hey, can you unlock the door? Can you open it? >> What happened? >> Where's Where's mommy at? >> In there. >> She's in there. >> Mhm. >> Witnesses confirmed the child had been trapped inside that freezing car for at least 45 minutes, crying so hard the alarm went off. When the mother finally showed up, there was no remorse. Just excuses, denials, and a chilling lack of accountability. >> Is this your child? >> What are you doing? >> Okay, what I'm going to need to put these down right now. You're going >> Why? >> Uh, that's not how that works. It's okay. >> It's okay. >> It's okay. It's okay. It's nothing. >> Come on. >> What's your name? >> Sunny. >> I'm going to put >> your name. >> What's your name? >> Her name is Sunny. >> Sunny? >> Yeah. >> And even who's not stealing me? Who is my mom? >> I know she's your mom. >> But I do got to go potty. >> You have to go potty. >> Mhm. >> Okay. >> That's why the we >> Okay. Um, what about my son though? >> Yeah, we're going to make sure you Where were you when your son was in the car for 45 minutes? >> I've been checking on him. I wasn't in there for 45 minutes. >> Are you okay? Well, okay. She came in for an interview. >> Okay. >> Or to enroll. >> Okay. >> I had no idea there was a kid out. >> And it's been a pleasure. You want Are you too hot, cold, nothing? >> I'm fine. I'm just watching my son >> now. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> So, since you're in the back of our cruiser and cuffs, >> I'm going to read you something and I'm going to ask you some questions. Okay. >> Mhm. >> All right. So, I I get that you were going in for an interview. >> Mhm. I actually wasn't even going in for an interview. >> Me and my son just drove by. We just left the pet store >> and I was like, "Oh, yeah. Gerber always wanted to go here." Okay. So, the lady was like, "Can you fill out the application?" I was like, "Yeah." So, I was like, "Sunny." >> Yeah. I was like, "Sunny, do you want to go in?" He said, "No." >> Yeah. His name's Sunny. >> She tried to downplay the time, claiming she'd checked in while the store manager swore she'd been inside for over an hour without once mentioning her son. The contradictions were glaring, and her refusal to take responsibility sealed her fate. So, we came here and then I came in and asked if they had any openings for esthetician school. And the lady was like, >> "Actually, the manager is here. Here's a form." >> So, she's like, "Can you fill that out for me, please?" I was like, "Yeah." So, I came outside and I was like, "Sain, do you want to go in?" He said, "No." So, I filled out the form with him in the car. I was like, "Do you want to go in?" He's like, "No, go inside." And she was talking. We just started yapping. >> Okay. The with the manager in the back. >> Mhm. >> Okay. And then >> and then I heard the car go off. Check on him. But between then I didn't come out because I could always see him. Whenever I was inside you could there's literally a sitting area off. >> Like how long were you in there total? >> Um I was probably in there for an hour. >> An hour. >> But the car alarm had went off. But there's two doors right there on the side and her office is right there. pe you can through the entire time while you're watching him in the car. >> Yeah, cuz like there's the front area right there and then there's two doors right there and then at that end we it was literally a random trip of us coming over here. We didn't plan to do this. So I was like I'm hungry. Me and the lady was just talking. I was like my son is probably tired. You know it's time to go. But me and her just was connecting. So yeah, we were in I was in there for a while talking to her. >> But you were watching the whole time. >> Yeah. Okay. And and I obviously I'm like it's starting to get dark. We didn't even I didn't plan to do this. I'm like it's time to go. When I came out you guys were already here. But I I pro you know how you can feel a feeling like it's time >> you're being interviewed >> right here. >> Right here. >> Yeah. None of us knew that she had a child. >> Wait. Right. Which is I'm not >> Yeah. >> saying that's we're just trying to gather information for >> Yeah. So here's my card. >> Okay. >> My business card. >> At no point it came up that she had a kid. >> No. >> Okay. >> Cuz she could have brought him in, >> right? It seems like you guys are all, you know, supportive of, you know, that. >> I mean, I kind of felt bad for her that maybe she didn't feel like she could ask. >> Um, she told me he wanted to stay in there, which is >> as a 5-year-old, you don't get to decide that. >> No, especially with all the child trafficking today, for God's sakes. >> When the car alarm went out off, >> um, I I didn't even know then that she had a son out there. >> Okay. She heard her car alarm go off. >> Yeah. You could hear it in here in the back. >> Okay. So, what did she do when the car alarm went off? >> She got up. It went off twice. She got up, turned it off, and which >> did she walk out of here like to turn it off or was it like >> Yeah. She she leaned out the door like this? >> Okay. >> Out that door. >> Oh, out this door. >> Yeah. Unfortunate situation. >> Yeah. All right. >> She never told staff about the child, clearly hiding the fact she abandoned him. Her excuse that she was keeping an eye while busy connecting only revealed a dangerous illusion of supervision. A total failure to grasp what true responsibility looks like. >> Want something to eat? Can he have these crackers? >> Yeah. >> The peanut butter crackers. >> That's fine. >> That's fine. >> Okay. >> Okay. Do you want some news? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So you are being charged for child endangerment >> because you left your kid in the car for over an hour. >> He is going to be referred to child protective services. >> Uhhuh. >> So they are taking him um to better his you know experience. Do you have any relatives or family members that I could give their information to child protective services >> so he can stay? Yeah. >> So he doesn't cuz I'm not here trying to take your kid away and then have him go with some random family. And I mean if he knows these people and you know >> Yeah. I know my parents. >> Okay. What's your parents' names? Is there anybody else that you can think of other than your parents? >> No, just call my parents. >> Well, I'm not going to call him right now. So So it'll be on um CSB's end. I don't know how long he'll be there, but I'm guessing, you know, immediately tonight they'll start making phone calls >> once everything gets submitted. Um, and if he's, you know, if they >> Wait, so I'm confused. This is literally insane. So, because my son wanted to sit in the car and I was watching him, I'm getting arrested. >> So, have you never got >> Yeah. So, have you never sat in a car when your parents went in the store? Not when I was five. And the car's off. >> Okay. >> So, I mean, you that's what court's for. You're going to go through a whole court process and you you're, you know, allowed to, you know, have your side of the story and give them all that information. >> Even on the way to jail, she played the victim, calling her arrest crazy, brushing off her choices as no big deal. She even compared it to sitting in a car as a kid herself. Proof of emotional immaturity and a shocking inability to see the real danger her son faced. >> So, I'm listening to what you're saying and you heard my story. >> I want you to think I'm some, you know, a-hole that's trying to take >> It seems like that because you're very rude to me whenever you grabbed me. You didn't hear anything. >> Well, do you understand coming into that what I saw? >> Okay. >> People calling in about some kid crying and banging on the door and setting off car alarms. >> Okay. >> And he's alone in a car that's off by himself. So, >> okay. Can we turn off the light in my car? >> Yeah, I can do that for you. >> So, where is Sunny going right now? I seen that red car. >> What? >> He's going with CSB right now. >> So, they're going to have custody of your kid. >> I gave them >> your parents info. So, they're going to be calling them >> um to see if they would want to take custody. And uh >> I don't know how long that process will take. Obviously, I'd rather him go with your parents cuz he knows them instead of somebody else. >> Mhm. >> So >> So they're taking them to that fat uh like that place on Arlington. >> Yeah, it's off of Arlington. >> Okay. >> All right, Sunny. You ready? >> You're going to go with my friend here. Okay. >> Okay. >> It's Everything's going to be okay. All right. >> Okay. >> All right. Fist bump. Have a good night. Okay. >> Okay. >> Okay. right here. Really cute. Okay, >> I gave her all the information like your parents, whatever. So, she'll probably be calling them tonight. >> Okay. Is it possible for me to get some chopstick >> in my purse? Yeah, >> you have some in your purse. Okay. >> Yeah. >> It's going to have to go back on once you're done. Okay. >> Thank you so much. cuz I won't be able to keep that while I >> get any other ones. I don't want to get your uh bracelets caught up. Double lock it. In the end, she was booked on charges of child endangerment for leaving her 5-year-old locked in a shutoff car for over an hour in the freezing cold. The consequences could be severe jail time, probation, heavy fines, and possibly the permanent loss of custody since the boy was immediately placed in the hands of child protective services. On April 26th, 2024 in New Mexico, officers showed up at the registered address of a woman wanted for violating probation after skipping mandatory check-ins. What should have been a straightforward warrant service quickly spun into something far more volatile? >> Hello, sir. How's it going? >> Is Crystal here? >> Uh, no. because somebody came over something for a while. >> You don't know where she went? >> I'm the >> where the park who who did she go with? What kind of car? >> Oh, no. She was up right there. >> She walked up. She walked up. Then >> where where is she staying at? Can you show me her room? She's on probation with us. >> Oh, okay. >> And this is the address she listed. So, this is where she lives. >> Huh? >> This is where she lives? >> Crystal lives here? Uh-huh. >> Can you show me where she's living? >> Huh? >> Can you show me where she's staying? >> Don't post. Let me see. Crystal, >> you guys are not mobile. >> I'm a probation officer. Crystal, show me your hands. >> I called you guys. Show me your hands now. Get out here. >> Crystal, come on. Come on, >> Crystal. Don't do that. >> Get out here. >> Come on. Get out here. >> We're going to just stay here. Okay. >> Hey, Crystal. Show me your hands now. >> Show me your hands. Show me your hands. >> Crystal me. >> Okay. Stay back. Stay back. >> Stop it. >> Okay. Stay back. >> Crystal, get up and come here and talk to me. I'm a probation officer. >> I'M SICK OF I'M COLD. ALSO, YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE PROBATION. WHY DO WE WHAT THE YOU'RE ASKING? >> You guys ARE TO THE >> YOU HAVE not reported to the LAS VEGAS OFFICE. >> I DID. >> WHEN? >> AND MY LAWYER DOESN'T ANSWER. >> OKAY. WELL, STOP YELLING. >> NO. GET OUT OF THE HOUSE. >> OKAY. AS OF RIGHT NOW, YOU'RE UNDER ARREST. >> From the start, her father tried to shield her, but the attempt failed. Police acted on a lawful warrant. When she refused to raise her hands, the danger instantly rose. Clear proof she had no intention of cooperating. Officers followed procedure to the letter to KEEP CONTROL. >> STOP. >> COME ON. >> Stand up. >> YES, I DID. >> I'm recording. What are you doing? >> You guys, STAND UP. >> NO. I DIDN'T DO NOTHING WRONG. >> LET ME TALK TO YOU. >> GOSH. >> CRYSTAL, let me talk to you. I DID DO NOTHING WRONG AFTER THIS. >> I DID DO NOTHING WRONG. OKAY, I'll go. >> Come on. STAND UP. >> A JAIL. ALL MY FAMILY WORKS THERE. I KNOW THEM. >> You guys are hurting me. Stop. >> Come on, Crystal. Stop it. >> Stop it. Please, sir. >> Please stop it. >> We're going to charge you for resisting baby. STOP. >> I'M NOT DOING ANYTHING. I'M NOT EVEN SUPPOSED TO BE ARRESTED. >> You're on probation. >> I'M NOT DOING ANYTHING WRONG, THOUGH. STAND UP, >> YOU GUYS. I'M MAKING BURGERS, GUYS. >> CRYSTAL, I don't want TO HAVE TO PUT >> SOMEBODY HELP ME. >> All right, Crystal, sit up. >> No. No. >> Don't move. >> You're hurting. >> Don't move. Hold on. I got to lock these so tighten. >> No. >> Hey, that secret brother want to hold. >> You guys do this to me all the time when I start to STAND UP. I DID REPORT. WHERE DID YOU GUYS COME IN? I CALLED EVERYWHERE. >> LET ME CALL. >> Hold up. You need to relax. >> I called everybody. >> I put on THE BACK. >> JUST RELAX. >> CRYSTAL. HEY, STOP. >> Her resistance escalated. Yelling, refusing to stand, pulling away. Classic psychological manipulation. Painting herself as the victim to force hesitation. But the tactic only deepened the standoff. >> Cuz I don't have nothing in here. >> I'M NOT LETTING YOU GUYS pin stuff on me. I'm tired. I am. >> What am I going to find in here? >> Nothing. That's what I'm saying. I thought you put something in here. >> Okay. >> Oh, my baby gun. I asked the the judge if I could have it. He said yes. >> Look, Crystal. >> Yes. He said yes, I could. >> Crystal, we're here because you didn't call you. >> I didn't call you. >> They didn't get it. >> I don't want to leave my house. >> Listen, they didn't get any calls, dude. >> Let me pee myself now. >> You You're resisting. >> I'm not resisting. You You guys are doing this illegally. This is illegal. >> You're on probation. >> This is harassment. IT'S HARASSMENT. I'M AFRAID OF YOU GUYS. >> OKAY. OKAY. >> You guys PUT ME IN DANGER. YOU DON'T HELP ME. >> OKAY. SO, you have nothing else in here that's going to get you in trouble. >> No, I just want to call Michelle. >> I did. She She'll call me back. She didn't answer. Why is your dad lying for you? Why are you afraid to talk to us? >> Because you guys take me to jail all the damn time and I don't even know for what? Cuz you don't report. >> CUZ I DON'T REPORT. LOOK, LOOK. Last time I came home, THEY SAID THE COPS TOOK ALL MY STUFF OUT. >> Because you're under arrest? >> No. Why do you have my phone? That is weird. I You guys I'VE BEEN CALLING YOU FOR 2 weeks from my other phone. Somebody stole my phone. ONE OF YOU GUYS. >> It wasn't us. We didn't come. This is This is the only thing we have. >> Damn. There's somebody with one of the machines that takes phone calls. I tried and tried. I I DON'T HAVE A CAR, SO I can't go. Another way. >> I don't go anywhere. You guys see me. I don't do anything wrong. The >> first time I've seen you, Crystal. >> I don't have friends. Too many. I mean, I do nothing wrong. >> I spoke to Chris numerous times. These charges were dropped to Washington DC. ALL MY CHARGES. SOMEBODY KEEPS JUST POPPING THEM UP. LEAVE ME. IT'S NOT funny anymore. >> NO. PUT MY PHONE BACK. >> Give me my phone. >> Oh my god. Yeah. >> You want to leave it here? >> Good. GIVE IT TO MY DAD. SIR, >> this is Crystal's phone. She requested that you hold it. Okay. She wanted you to have it. >> Okay. Well, you got to check. >> I DON'T DO I DO CHECK IN. I'LL CHECK IN WITH YOU GUYS EVERY DAY. I'M RIGHT HERE. >> She clung to the idea that words could change her fate, repeating accusations like a broken record. But the truth had already been verified. And when officers moved in, the illusion shattered. Her desperation erupted into full-blown resistance. Leave me alone. >> LEAVE ME ALONE. LEAVE ME ALONE. I'M TIRED OF IT. >> HELP. >> Come on, >> Crystal. I don't want to have to leave. I don't have to drag you all the way out there. Okay. >> LEAVE ME ALONE. >> I DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO DRAG YOU OUT. >> NO, IT'S NOT FUNNY ANYMORE. >> COME ON. Why you acting like that? >> That's not funny. >> NO ONE'S LAUGHING. I b I'm not doing anything wrong. I'm not doing anything wrong. I'm not doing anything wrong. >> STOP IT. DAD. >> NO. I'M NOT doing nothing wrong. Leave me alone. >> Daddy. Don't you love me alone? GET >> STOP you guys. We all IN SANTA ROSA. THIS ISN'T SANTA ROSA. >> IF YOU DON'T COMPLY EVERYTHING, IT'S not Crystal. >> No, it's not. >> If you don't comply, >> LISTEN, CALL GAGE. >> LISTEN to me. >> I didn't get nothing. NO. >> CHECKED IN. HOW are you guys DOING THIS? IT'S ILLEGAL. >> Let's go check again. Come on. >> IT'S ILLEGAL. >> COME ON, CRYSTAL. >> I was cooking. >> Come on. Let's go. >> No, Dad. >> Hey, JUST JUST CUT IT OUT. >> JUST CUT IT OUT. COME ON. >> STOP. >> Come on. Just You'll be out. You'll be out. NO TIME. >> LET ME KEEP IT FOREVER. >> Come on. >> STOP IT. YOU GUYS HURT ME over there, too. Please leave me alone. >> You're going to hurt your arm. a grown woman yet sobbing for her father like a teenager. She wasn't afraid of handcuffs. She was terrified of accountability. Not the police themselves, but the weight of her own choices. And in a final moment of chaos, as she was led to the patrol car, even her bladder betrayed her. >> This is big. You guys are dead. >> You want to take it? You want to take it? >> Hold on. But I trust the mom. Stop. our phones and everything. >> Our identities from wives out there. >> Hold on right quick. Go ahead. >> You okay? >> You peed your pants or what? >> Yeah, he used a pressure point. A little short one. Do you have anything on you? >> Oh, yeah. I don't know. >> Have a seat. >> Come on. >> I wasn't DOING NOTHING WRONG, THOUGH. >> I DID EVERYTHING RIGHT. I WASN'T DOING ANYTHING. >> Calm down. We got to take you to the hospital. Get checked out. Okay, >> I'm fine. >> We still got to go. Okay, just just relax. That's the guy that was hurting me. Who is he? I'm not no me with the >> stupid just eating a burger. I'll have him do the med clear and then I'll go over there, finish my clean stuff, then I'll have him take the swap >> cuz I'm going to summon her for resisting bail. >> You want to summon her? >> Yeah. >> In the end, she was booked into jail, charged with resisting arrest by physical force, bail set at $1,000. Already convicted once for resisting, now combined with the outstanding warrant, she faces the very real possibility of long-term prison time. On March 27th, 2024, police showed up to serve a warrant for Destiny Harris, who was accused of scamming the system for $16,525 in unemployment benefits, all while working full-time for the Florida City government from April 2020 to February 2021. A bold con pulled right from inside the system itself. >> Hello. >> Hi, Destiny. >> Um, what's going on? >> Are you Destiny? >> We have a couple people here. >> Okay. must be inquiry. >> I'm not the residential room. There's something going on. >> Is are you Destiny? >> Uh, no, ma'am. >> Okay. Can I speak with Destiny, please? >> Casper, quiet. May I ask you disregarding, please? >> Are are you Destiny? >> Can I inquire of like what it's for and then I can make a consensus if you don't mind? >> I'm asking you if you're Destiny. Are you Destiny? >> No, ma'am. >> Okay. Is Destiny here? >> No, ma'am. Huh? >> You're destiny, right? >> Would you mind if I just made a quick phone call? >> A phone call? >> Listen, we just want to talk to you real quick. >> It's kind of weird when you're holding the door like because they have the dogs and I just want >> That's why we're asking. I don't want to get bit by a dog. That's why >> just my comfort and like my just for my own >> I can hang out out here. We can hang out out here. She just wants to talk to you a little bit. >> Okay. Would you mind just for my own comfort and like this is not my home and I could step out for you all? It's just odd that on a on a Wednesday that this is happening and we don't know what's going on. >> Well, it's just we're working we work weekday. So, >> no, I get it. I understand. >> Okay. I'm not we're not here for the homeowner. I'm here to speak with you. So, we can step out for a second and we'll explain to you what is >> um just for my own safety or like do you all have a warrant or anything like that? >> I need you to answer me first. Are you Destiny Harris? >> No, ma'am. Okay. I don't I don't believe what you're telling me. I know that you're destiny. So, I'm asking you to come outside for a second. Speak with us. Okay. Could you just give me one second, please, >> to grab my telephone? It's right behind the table. You leave the door open while you're grabbing. You can come and make the phone call out here. We'll let you make the phone call, but we do have to talk to you. If you leave the door open, we'll let you grab your phone. You can make the phone call out here. Is that okay? >> I'm comfortable with that. Is she Are you okay with that? >> Yeah. Okay. Can we leave? >> When officers arrived, Destiny played dumb. claimed she didn't know what they were talking about, wouldn't confirm her identity, hoping maybe they'd just give up and go away. But they weren't buying it. These officers had done their homework. They knew exactly who they were looking for. >> She can hear you. >> What is going on? >> I have no idea. >> Okay. So, there's a warrant for your arrest. Okay. >> Oh my god. >> So, that's what that's what we're here for. So, I would like to explain more to you and actually sit down and have a conversation with you. Um, but in the meantime, we do need to take you back with us. And because you have your mom on the phone, that's why I'm explaining this to you. >> Um, so that she knows what's going on also. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. Um, she won't tell you what the warrant's for. >> It's for fraud. >> It's for what? It's for fraud, but like I said, we'll go back and and sit down and actually I'll tell you. I'll let you >> Yeah, please. >> I'll explain all the charges. Exactly. >> Okay. >> But just because you have her on the phone. That's the only reason why I'm making >> as much as I am to my mom. That's fine. >> Okay. Um can you give your phone to um somebody and then I'm going to call Jette and then I'll call uh I'll call uh Vinnie. I mean, not Vinnie. um uh Gary right now to see to get details for >> um okay I'm in the middle I need to tell my boss I'm not telling my boss that obviously >> can she can she tell her boss that like >> I work for the federal government myself so there's for me for my job security and my children >> are you working right now >> I'm in I'm in a meeting like right now >> okay >> yeah so I'm going to give you that courtesy and we don't normally have to do that so go ahead and make a phone call to your boss and let him know that you're going to be, I guess, out for. >> After a few more questions, she was identified as Destiny Harris. She asked if she could make a phone call and looked visibly shaken. That's when they told her she was being arrested for fraud. >> What the is going on? Do you have a context for like what's going on or like what's the door cuz I don't want to hear that. >> Is anyone else here adultwise? >> Yeah. >> Dad. Dad is here. >> Okay. Just cuz we don't obviously want to leave the kids. >> Oh, yeah. That's fine. >> I don't know how long I'm going to be here. >> She'll be able to Let me give her my phone number. >> Anybody without your attorney? >> I understand that, Mom, but I don't >> I mean, they're going to arrest you. >> I know that. I can't go to jail, Mom. >> I understand. You have to go. I don't know what's going on, but you can't fight it. Yeah. You'll get another charge. I know that I can't. I'm going to call their attorney. >> I'm going to call their attorney. You have to go with them. I mean, Del PD people, believe me. But you have to go with them. I'll call J. We're going to call Gary to see what the charges are, and we'll go from there. Okay. Just be calm, but you do not say anything until your attorney gets you not to say not one thing. Do you understand? >> Yes, Mom. I understand. >> All right. I know you're worried about your job. Did you tell your job you had to get off? >> I just sent my boss the ping on Teams. >> Do you have your boss's number just in case I need to call her? Cuz I don't Well, you'll be able to call me. Don't worry. So, let me let me If you want to text me while you're there in front of them, your boss's number or something just in case. >> Mom, you cannot tell my VP that. >> I I'm not going to tell her that. I'm I'm smarter than that. >> Okay. So, you've had a chance to reach out to the boss. I'm me I'm still messaging him right now. >> Okay. And then um I'll have you leave your watch here so that you don't have to worry about that when we get there. >> Okay. And do you have any other jewelry or anything else that you want to leave there? >> You need to take Do you need to take your asthma pump? I don't know if you're allowed to have that in there, but I'm going to I'm going to grab it. >> Is it inhaler? >> Yeah. >> As she called her mother, Destiny started worrying out loud about losing her job. It was clear this wasn't some hardened criminal. More likely someone drowning in financial stress. Still, how do you justify collecting unemployment while holding a government paycheck? That's not just risky. It's downright foolish. >> You could be there. We don't know. But do the kids see the >> Yes, mom. They saw them. So, they're not stupid. They know what's going on. And I'm sure they can hear me through the window over there. >> All right. Turn around to bring them in the room. >> I already put I already put them in the room. Mom, >> hold on. But they know they saw them at the door and I told Chloe to move. >> All right, let me I need to call their attorney. Just go with them. You're you're in good hands. Everybody's good. Um let me just call the attorney. Okay. And then um I'll reach out to Kim to see what's going on and I'll call Gary to make sure you're good. Okay. You have no idea what it's for. >> Mom, I have no idea. I wouldn't be sitting here right now. I'm literally driving around and walking the streets and going to Trader Joe's as if I'm a free person. >> Um, I need to tell >> All right. Y knows. How about that arrest? >> Okay. Yeah, there's a warrant. >> Okay. >> So, um, obviously you got the kids and everything and I'm going to have her leave her stuff with you so that we don't have to. >> You know how long she'll be in there? Like >> they have they have no idea. I asked. you know, we don't make that determination. So, once she goes up to county, um, then >> what does that what does that mean? >> So, when we take you, we take to our police department just for processing and to do paperwork and then we'll take you up to county jail where they process. >> Y'all had like a time where she said, "Judge, anything?" >> I don't know. Stop. It's going to be fine. >> No, it's not. It's going to be hard. >> I need to call my boss. Mom, I have to go. And I need to tell the kids goodbye real quick cuz they've already been standing out here for a while. >> Hey, Jake. I have to log off. I have a family emergency and I'll probably need you to for the rest of the week. >> Okay. >> Ballpark. >> She agreed to go quietly. Officers let her say goodbye to her children first. No handcuffs in front of the kids. No shouting. Just a quiet, respectful moment in an otherwise sad situation. One of those rare scenes where you see the human side of law enforcement trying to protect the kids from emotional trauma even while doing their job. >> Just say bye to my kids. >> Yeah. I mean, we don't really want you to go back in. >> So, that's the only thing. >> God, I don't I just don't I don't want them to I don't want that type of anxiety to sit with them. You want us to like step out and one of us stay with you and the kids can come out and you just tell them that you got to come and talk to us at the station or something like that. That way you don't have all four of us standing around when they come out and they won't go through. >> Wait. >> I'm good. >> You good with that? >> Yeah, I'm good with that. >> Thank you. >> I don't even know what to tell them. Like what do people >> just tell them that you're coming back to talk to us about something? >> Embarrassing. for now. >> I mean, it could be tonight, you know. I I really don't know. So, I don't want to tell you it's going to be tomorrow when it's tonight. I don't want, you know, >> it's not even like I can say, "Oh, mommy has a work trip. I travel for work sometimes like DC and stuff." >> Yeah. I do this. >> Hello. How yall doing? right? Hey honey, how's it going? >> Okay, relax. >> I'm gonna have to head down down there with him and talk about >> Yeah, it'll be fine. >> All right, I'll call you. All right. I love you, honey. I'll see you later. >> Can I let you man? >> No, no, no, no. >> I'm going to let you walk down to the car so we don't cut in front of you. >> That's why I said we can go right between the cars over here. We're going to go in this car. >> Destiny was charged with organized fraud and false statements to obtain benefits. In court, she received four years of probation, 75 hours of community service, and was ordered to repay the full $16,525 she took from the system. And now the question goes to you. If you were the officer on scene, would you have handled Destiny with a firm hand or shown compassion for the sake of her children? Innocent kids shouldn't pay for their parents' chaos.
