and suspicions surround a criminal investigation right now involving a Sanger ISD employee and a student. But this time, the employee accused of inappropriate conduct is not a teacher or a coach, but rather a Sanger ISD police officer. Here's CBS News Texas's JD Miles. When a letter from the superintendent went out on Thursday that Sanger ISD was investigating a serious allegation involving a school district police officer and inappropriate conduct with a student. It had parents like Jake Williams asking the same question. >> I mean, once we thought the worst thing that would happen is a school shooting. That's why we placed officers at school. And now we have to worry about this. Also, >> another day, another Texas police officer accused of doing the one thing they're supposed to prevent. This time it's Sanger ISD where a school police officer has been suspended after what the district calls a criminal allegation involving a student. And yes, the district is telling parents basically nothing. [Music]
