this man was peacefully speaking on behalf of homeless veterans dozens of others had stood in the exact same spot without ever facing trouble despite no crime cops showed up threatened arrest unlawfully demanded ID and tried to silence him they don't have the lawful authority to ask me to leave this public forum this is a traditional public forum and I'm engaged in freedom of speech how many times have I got to tell you that leave me alone and go Tate before you make a mistake what I'm doing is I'm engaged in freedom of speech at the steps of City Hall which is a traditional public forum and if they trespass me off of this proper for engaging in my civil rights you're going to be held liable and they're going to be held liable and the city's going to be held liable so I am conducting an investigation so therefore I don't want you to catch a petty charge for obstruction I don't want to either because I'm engaged in free speech that but but now I'm here though yeah I'm not giv my ID and I'm well then you're about to be putting handcuffs for obstruction till I further figure this out man so it's not that serious right it's not I'm engaging free speech I got you are you going to give me your last name and B what what would happen if I don't obstruction what does that mean it's you're prolonging my investigation
