As you know, yesterday Tulare County Deputy [music] Randy Hopper was shot and killed in line of duty. Kern County was requested with [music] to have their SWAT team and the specialized equipment the Rook [music] and the Bearcat to respond to assist Tulare County. I'm going to talk a little a little bit about the use of force. The other part of the investigation is Tulare County and then I would encourage you to contact [music] them for details if you have questions. During the incident the we deployed our Rook, >> [music] >> we deployed our Bearcat. The suspect moved around quite a bit inside the house and ultimately exited the back [music] window of a of the residence. The Bearcat and already the Rook had already been shot several times. Bearcat went around with employees inside of it, deputies inside of it. As they were approaching the back [music] of the residence the suspect was lying in wait. We think probably waiting for ground troops to ambush them. As the deputies >> [music] >> went towards the house the suspect fired a high-powered rifle. The Rook I mean the Bearcat took four rounds to the driver side of the of the windshield and the deputies driving the Rook [music] ran over the suspect and the suspect ultimately was killed.
