and suspicions surround a criminal investigation right now involving a Sanger ISD employee and a student. But this time, the employee accused of inappropriate conduct is not a teacher or a coach, but rather a Sanger ISD police officer. >> The superintendent urged the community to refrain from speculation. But the district will have to answer more questions to make Jake Williams comfortable sending three of his kids back to school next week. It's getting to where I would rather homeschool my kids because that's probably where they're safest. There nobody's safe at a school anymore. Parents have the right to know what happened on campus. Students have the right to be protected and officers are held to the highest standard, at least on paper. What we don't know should make every parent uncomfortable. Which campus was the student targeted? Were other students present? How long was this officer interacting with students unsupervised? This isn't speculation. This is basic safety. If you're in Sanger ISD, don't wait for the district to clean this up. Ask for the incident report. Ask for the board meeting recording. Ask who knew what and when. This is your district, your kids, your right to answers.
