school kids searches them.
Well, we almost made it with no
in almost. And
uh so they complained, came over to me.
I was with security over there talking
to them. Walked over, talked to
him. He was pretty shitfaced. Couldn't
tie his shoes. It's like, "Okay, you
know, dude, I'm going to cut you off,
you know." So I went to the bar. I said,
"Cut him off." You know, and then it was
a while went by and then they came back
to me. I was over there and I come over
and I says that dude that went over
there by
me in the bar. I
says I'm going to do you a favor. I'm
going to take you home across the
street. I [ __ ] you. I ain't going
home.
Well,
okay. And then it

get in the car. You're going to get
another man. Stop. Stop being There you

questions
posters on Facebook.
Well, you also have to uh if we're going
to take a we should get jail. Yeah. So,
I mean tickets, I wouldn't go through
all that. I'd tell him right now.
What is your name? Go to jail.
Brian, listen. I'm going to tell you
something. Okay. Okay. All right. Me and
you, I talked to you before. Okay. You
were cool with me? Yeah. All right. So,
here's the deal. My officers are going
to take you to the Burlington Police
Department. Yes, sir. And they're going
to issue citations.
If there's any other outburst from you,
you're going to go right to Rine County
Jail on resisting charges.
You don't want that, do you? Well, you
know what? What? I don't care. You don't
care. I don't care. You don't want to go
to jail, do you? I don't give a [ __ ] I
don't want you to go to jail.
Well, let's go to the brilliance.
What's that? Let's go to the brilliance.
I'll call for a ride, you know. Okay.
That's all I want. I was a little [ __ ]
up. Okay. A little bit, you know. Will
you be calm with them? When we get to
the police department, I'll talk to
them. Until then, I'm not talking. Okay,
that's fine. But will you be calm with
them? Just take me through the police
department and I'll get a ride home.
Okay. You're a supervisor. Okay. I got
it. I respect
officers. But all right. They're going
to take you.
I would do both for sure. I do resisting
all day. If he's pulling guys, you had
to force him in there. He pulled away
from you. He resisted 100%. We'll follow
up on the ground that we need to do. I'm
going to talk to him a little bit and
then that's it. I want I asked Cory if
he could go back with them too just in
case and then I'm going to talk to him
and get a better statement and I'll be
done. He didn't want to get in the squad
so he's going to change any moment.
Okay.
Everybody knows me except you. I guess
I'm junior. I know who you are. I just
wanted to get a better So, how how long
has he been like this? He's been for a
while and I and they came over to me and
they said, "This guy's pretty drunk
politician about it." I said, "Okay."
So, I went over I talked to him and that
and he like
I was looking for tops to give. I got a
bunch of tokens to give you guys to, you
know, hand out to the kids and then Oh,
yeah. So I talked to this guy at his
table and there's two girls there and
he's pretty I pretty [ __ ] face and I
says I think you're pretty much
done in error basically. So I went to
walked over to the bar and I told my you
going to cut him off just because you
know what you know. So then
uh I come I go out and I was doing
something else and then they come
running over by me and like this guy's
uh at the bar and he's usually looping
over and so I go over there and I talked
to him. I said, "I'm I'm here. I'm going
to do you a favor and his mom or
whatever."
Uh the older lady was uh uh was there
and that she said he lives across the
street. I said, "Okay." I went back this
way with the car. I'm going to take you
across the street. You you need to go
home. And he just started getting
belligerent and said, "Fuck you." And
and that. And you know, that's when it
blew up.
And then they called security. I had,
you know, he was there called security
over.
Security come over and they tried to
restrain them. And all the time I'm
trying to get a hold of you guys and
nobody's What do you need? You know, so
I went over to the side and they called
up here and they said, "We need PD down
here." So that's basically where we're
at. I do. Is there anybody in the beer
tent that I should talk to that would
give me a a statement or what you said
is what happened? And I that's there's a
couple people behind um you hop on,
we'll go down there. I don't need I
don't need I I have your statement,
which is fine. I just I didn't know if
he pissed off anybody else or if it just
Well, there was some people at the bar
he pissed off and that's why they called
me.
Give it up. Okay.
And he didn't get violent with me till I
said, "I'm going to do you a favor." And
he said, "I ain't [ __ ] going with
you." Not
okay.
I just You can go with me or go
with almost killed me. He chose the
other one. Yeah. The wrong one. Brian
continued to threaten and resist
officers during the transport. He made
violent threats, attempted to kick an
officer at the hospital, and repeatedly
challenged police.
While still at the city of Burlington
Police Department, Brian was placed in
the WAP for his safety and officer
safety. After receiving medical
clearance, he was eventually booked into
the Rine County Jail without further
