While on patrol, the two officers spotted an unregistered BMW and decided to pull it over. The driver, a man, claimed the car was newly bought and didn't yet have a license plate. The man pretended to reach for his identification, but it turned out he didn't have a driver's license. Additionally, the name he provided to the officers was false. >> What's your name? >> Kindle Chapman. >> Kindle? How do you spell that? How do you spell that? >> K I N D A R L >> And Chapman? >> M A N >> The female officer then asked for his birth date, but he gave an incorrect answer. When asked his age, he made a mistake in his calculation. >> What's your social, Kindle? >> Uh I don't I don't give out my social. I've had it. Uh People give me four by uh >> You're being honest about your name, though, right? >> Yes, ma'am. >> Okay. >> After running a check, the officer found that the BMW had no issues, but the name the man provided was fake. The officer decided to continue questioning him. >> You got something on you, man? >> Huh? >> You got something on you? >> No. >> Okay. You're acting real defensive and real nervous. That's why I'm asking. >> I just went and got got food. >> It was later discovered that the man's real name was Edward. He was evasive and hesitant, attempting to avoid the officer's questions. Moreover, the officer suspected that he might be carrying a gun in his waistband, so she made the decision to take decisive action.
