She was charged with battery on a peace officer, trespassing, and resisting arrest. Officers noted that Latana also had several outstanding warrants as well. She was booked into the Solano County Justice Center detention facility with no reported bond. What started as a routine call quickly escalated when Latonia ignored commands and became physically aggressive as officers attempted to take her into custody. She stomped on an officer's foot and bit his finger. Despite the sudden violence, officers maintained control of the situation and were able to safely restrain her without serious injury.
