I don't need that. >> Contrary to what the deputy told her about letting her leave, he was already developing growing suspicions that prompted him to keep asking more questions. And with each question, it became harder to tell how much longer she'd be able to keep her story together. >> Where did you say you were coming from? >> Boston. >> And who is this to you? >> Uh he's a friend of mine. >> Okay. What was his name? >> Corey Baker. >> Do you guys live together or? >> No. >> Do you know where he lives? >> One more time. I'm deaf in my left ear. >> Do you know where he lives? >> Uh he's staying with me right now in our apartment. >> Okay. All right. Is there anything illegal in the car that I need to know about? >> No, there's not. I I wouldn't let him have anything in my car, so. >> Okay. Um I'm going to get him out. We're going to figure some stuff out, okay? And and then we'll go from there, all right? Um You said this is your car, okay? >> my car. >> You okay if I run my dog around the car, too? >> Yes, that's fine. >> Yep. Um And then you're okay if we search the car, too, okay? Okay, listen. Yeah, it was sweet. >> Syringes too. >> I think those pills are needles or those pills are >> fatty fatty >> He's got needles, you know. >> Yeah, I bet it is. >> You need to be more careful. >> I've seen it. They do it a certain way. >> Yeah. >> Well, everything's kind of been on his side so far. >> Say again. >> So, all of this stuff has been on his side so far. >> But, you see that money on the in the door pocket? >> I don't know how much is in there, but there's some money. Yeah, not much. >> I think he's dope. He's never had teeth all his >> I have clean teeth. >> Yeah, I don't know. >> All right, listen, most likely you're going to go to jail for the amount that we found, okay? Do you have anything else on you? So, if you take anything into corrections, it's an additional charge, okay? I'm just >> anything on me. Um >> Nothing? Nothing stuffed in your junk? >> No, but I can go get my wallet, though. >> Yeah, we'll get your wallet for you. >> The money in the door? >> What's that? >> The money in the door? >> Okay. But nothing You don't have anything tucked? Nothing keistered? >> No. >> Okay. I just don't want you to get hung up with another charge. >> She ain't getting charged, is she? >> What's that? >> She's not getting charged, is she? >> We're debating that right now. Okay? For complicity. >> Complicity? >> Mhm. >> What's that? >> Complicity to distribute methamphetamine. >> Complicity? >> Yeah. You and I both know that's not personal use meth. That's a lot of weight. You know that and I know that. I've been doing this job for 26 years. Would you Would you agree on that? >> I don't know how much is there. >> Yeah, you do. Listen, don't don't [ __ ] me, dude. I've been around the block a few times. Okay? You know exactly how much is there. Right? I'm just being honest with you, dude. That's all I'm asking from you is just be honest with me. But >> I don't know [ __ ] about anything. I don't >> Okay. But we'd agree that it's not personal use, yeah? >> No, I don't. >> My eyes are up here, man. Come on. Look me in the eye like a man. Okay? >> I used to >> You used that much? >> Not Not at once. Not at once. >> Well, I know I know you don't use that much at once. But I saw the note that you wrote her saying that you're going to buddy's house to get rid of that sickness. Remember writing that one? In that black gym bag and the little notebook. Remember that? And you can't tell me that everything that we found in that car is personal use. You said I retired from Worcester PD. You know the drug problem up there. And I worked drugs hard. Right? You agree on that? We're both good. Yeah, I ran dogs for 13 years. So, I know what personal use is and I know what bulk amount is. Whether you got a bulk amount. Huh? More than what What you have is more than bulk amount. >> What is bulk amount? >> I think it's 100 g. Off the top of my head. Don't quote me on that, but that's what You and I both know that's far more than 100 g. It's probably 200 g in there. Listen, dude. Don't [ __ ] me. You know exactly how much is there. You picked it up in Worcester? Let me ask you this. You have ever been charged with possession drugs before? Have you ever done time for it before? Like county time or >> County. >> Prison time? County time? You know how the game is played, dude. You and I both know how the game is played. >> Now, I want you to think about something. I know you didn't go to Worcester today. Engine 37. The bad thing is that I know all the answers to the questions the man is asking you. >> So, you already know all the answers? >> I know a lot of them. I know you didn't bite in Worcester. Do we agree on that? You got little ones? How old? >> [music] >> Mhm? >> Young. >> Now, I'm guessing you want to be a part of their lives growing up, right? When you say young, how young? Cuz I got grandkids, dude. So. >> Between 1 and 5. >> 1 and 5. You know how many life changes they're going to go through in the next 3 to 5 years? I'm assuming you want to be a part of that, don't you? Look at me, man. All right? It It's hard. I know you Reality's hitting in. Especially when you got little ones. You're on probation or parole uh you're not on parole, right? >> Probation. >> You're on probation? For what? >> Mhm. >> Aggravated arson. >> Okay. So, how much time you looking for uh the probation violation? Especially with this amount. >> They'll probably give me the whole year. >> What's that? >> They'll probably give me the whole year. >> I would imagine so. And then plus whatever this charge is going to carry it. 2 months ago, I'll be honest with you. 2 months ago, I got about 140 g, that dude's looking at 3 years. Minimum. So, let me ask you this. Were you sincere about getting clean when you're picking up that much? Cuz you know you know what this does to people's lives. Right? Huh? What? No, it destroys it, man. Destroys people's lives. The uh the pink pills that we we found in that bag, what are those? >> Those are Suboxone. >> What's that? >> Suboxone. >> Those are Suboxone in that little pink uh plastic uh baggy? It's going to come back as Suboxone, not Daddy. >> Buprenorphine and naloxone. >> What's that? >> Buprenorphine and naloxone. >> Okay. >> A search of the vehicle revealed nearly 1 lb of suspected methamphetamine along with several items commonly associated with drug activity, including hypodermic needles, a glass of vaporizer cartridge, small Ziploc baggies, a mini blowtorch, and a digital scale. Both occupants of the vehicle, 20-year-old O'Reilly Finner of Holmesville and 32-year-old Corey Baker of Millersburg, were arrested at the scene and charged with drug trafficking. They were transported to the Holmes County Jail where they remained in custody. Authorities also noted that additional charges could be filed pending further [music] investigation and review by the Holmes County Prosecutor's Office.
