Acting suspiciously, Sean suddenly reached into his crossbody [music] bag. Within seconds, he pulled out a concealed handgun and pointed it directly at the officers. Same [ __ ] different The officers immediately backed toward the exit. [music] A store security guard rushed forward, wrestled the gun away from Sean, and engaged him in a struggle. Fearing the gunfire could accidentally strike the security guard, officers ordered him to step aside. Within minutes, additional officers arrived on scene to provide backup. Thankfully, no one was injured during the incident. >> I'll go grab my camera and take pictures of it. I don't know if this is something they want a BCI for or not. I don't know. There's no evidence really, but I mean, it's attempted murder. It is attempted murder. I don't know. He would have Oh, he would have got me. For sure. Authorities later revealed that Sean had already been wanted on an outstanding warrant [music] and had been flagged as armed and dangerous. After the incident, the officer admitted that during [music] the initial pat-down, he failed to detect the weapon hidden inside Sean's shoulder bag. Sean now faces multiple [music] charges, including attempted murder, felony assault on a police officer, robbery, and possession of illegal items. Investigators [music] also reported that 29 rounds of ammunition were found in Catalina's pocket. She has been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and unlawful possession [music] of ammunition.
