How much alcohol have you had today? >> Uh, a little bit. >> Are you want to do some field sobriety test for me to make sure you're okay to drive? >> No. >> Tammy 10:15. >> All right. I'm officer with the Franklin Police Department. Um, which which vehicle is yours? Ram right there. Okay. He clear. >> Okay. Do you have uh proof of insurance and registration? He tried to get away. >> What's that? >> He tried to get away. >> How? >> He was behind me. He ran into me. So I'm on the phone talking to talk to the dispatcher. Then he whoops around, but he comes to a dead end. That's how we ended up right here. We was up there at the light. He ran into it. He couldn't go nowhere. Okay, I see you. Yeah. Uh my >> license rotation proof of insurance. >> Okay, guys. So, listen. Here's the deal. In the state of Tennessee. So, first of all, I'm officer SP with the traffic unit in the state of Tennessee. There's two reasons why law enforcement doesn't do crash reports. Okay? One is if it's on private property, which obviously this is not. It was on a public roadway. The other is if there's less than $1,500 worth of damage per vehicle. So, that being said, there's obviously less than $1,500 worth of damage per vehicle. So, what I'm going to have y'all do is I'm going to have y'all swap information. Okay? So, you're going to take pictures or write down each other's insurance information, your driver's license, and your phone numbers. Okay? And then y'all are each going to take pictures of the damage, and then you can call the insurance companies. Okay. Yes, sir. >> What damage? There is a small dent right here. >> That insurance and registration both. >> Hey sir. >> Hey sir. Can I ask you a question? Sir, >> how much alcohol have you had today? >> Uh, none. >> Don't lie to me. I'm an advanced roadside impairment detection enforcement officer. >> How much alcohol have you had today? Uh, a little bit. >> Okay. Are you willing to do some fields test for me to make sure you're okay to drive? >> No. >> Put your hands on your back. >> Tammy 10:15. >> I'm going to take stuff out of your hands. >> You're under arrest for driving under the influence. >> Hold on one second. I'm going to pat you down. Do you have anything in your pocket that's going to hurt me, poke me, or stick me? >> No, sir. Take your feet apart for me. Okay, buddy. Hang on one second. I'm going to take this watch off because it's going to really hurt if those handcuffs pinch against that watch. This boy over here must >> watch your head getting in. I'll turn the air on for you. Okay. >> The man in custody is NFL star Jay Cutler. He is most known as the starting quarterback for the Chicago Bears and played 11 seasons in the NFL. He was 41 years old and located in Franklin, Tennessee at the time of his arrest. He was charged with DUI, driving under the influence, possession of a firearm while intoxicated, failure to excess due care to avoid a collision, and violation of Tennessee's implied consent law, refusing field sobriety tests. He was booked into the Williamson County Jail and released on bond the same night for $5,000. It's important to note that Jay pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor DUI under a plea deal in August 2025. As part of that agreement, the firearm possession charge was dismissed after he forfeited the firearm. Under the plea deal, he was ordered to serve 4 days in the Williamson County Jail, and pay a $350 fine, complete a DUI safety class, be on unsupervised probation for one year, and have his Tennessee driver's license revoked for 12 months. Jay has made no public statement about this matter, nor has he lost any direct sponsorships over this ordeal, but his ex-wife has made a statement on a podcast saying she wishes him well and hopes he gets better soon. The other driver later filed a civil lawsuit related to the crash. >> Please like and subscribe for more videos. [music] >> [music] [music] >> Heat.
