You want to keep following the red light? >> You want me to follow the red light? I'm following. Ready? Right. Right to the red and center and left. Hey, >> nice. >> What are you going to do? Throw me in jail? >> We're going to jail. >> All right, everybody. We got another video for you. This one comes from Body Cam Watch, and it's officers amazingly keep a straight face during his this arrest. I've seen a lot of funny calls for service where you just can't believe what you're seeing. And uh let's check this one out. I haven't seen it. >> A traffic stop on a vehicle that had been speeding. It would soon be apparent that the driver was extremely intoxicated. >> Be South Pacing to Merchants Crossing. Send me another unit, please. >> Hi. >> Hey, how are you? >> Turn the car off. >> Yeah. Yeah, absolutely. Stop digging around. Put your hands up. >> So, just so you know, like I've talked about this before. When somebody rolls down the window and they lean to grab the registration, we lean in for a couple reasons. One, we want to smell what's inside the car, whether we smell marijuana, alcohol. Number two, we want to be able to see what they're reaching for to make sure that they're not reaching for anything uh that might hurt us. >> On the steering wheel, where you coming from tonight? >> Anglewood Beach. Angwood Beach. Do you know the speed limit coming off Angwood Beach? >> 35. >> 35. How fast you think you were coming over the the bridge? >> I would assume 40. >> 55 on a radar. On a calibrated radar. And then I had to punch it to catch up to you here cuz you gunned it. >> Sure. Sure. >> Give me your license, your registration, your proof of insurance. >> Okay. Uh, so I just moved here uh 4 months ago. >> Four months ago. Where from? >> Wisconsin. >> Wisconsin. >> I know. Bold, right? >> Cool, man. So, I didn't I didn't get my license registered yet. >> How long you been here? >> About about five and a half months. >> Okay. Well, I'll tell you what. I'm not going to give you a hard time over that, but technically in the state of Florida, you have 30 days to get >> Yes. Yes, sir. I appreciate it. Here. >> Okay. So, we'll work with you. Okay. >> So, here's my uh license. >> You're a Florida. So, you do a Florida driver. You just have registered registered vehicle. >> So, I I bought my I bought this entire car >> two months before I moved here. >> Got it. >> The entire car. So, I didn't get my I didn't get my plates yet. Okay. And >> that's a credit card. I don't need that. >> Yeah. >> Yep. So, uh red >> I've had this happen a ton where they will you'll ask for the license and they'll they'll hand you like a credit card or something that totally not the license, which by the way, that's going to go in the report to show the level of intoxication. This is kind of one that almost seems like it's staged just because of how the cop is talking, which is being very nice. Um, but then how intoxicated or under the influence this kid appears to be. >> Registration. >> What is that? The >> basically when you registered the car in Wisconsin, they give you some pictures. >> So, I don't have that. I got pulled over like a week and a half ago because I just moved here and I didn't have the uh registration yet. >> Okay. because I just moved here a month and a half before I bought the car. >> Okay, got it. Do you have your insurance? Could you pull that up on your phone? >> I do. Yeah. Yeah. >> If you if it's easier for you, you can pull it up on the phone. >> Where did I put my phone? >> Where is your phone? >> I don't know. >> But either way, I have the paperwork. >> Okay. Step out of the vehicle for me. Okay. >> Yes, sir. Yes, sir. You guys made me nervous. I lost my phone. >> Nothing to be nervous about, man. Probably it's still in the car. Okay. Can I turn my car off? >> Yeah, please. No, it's already off. You already turned it off. >> Remember, I asked you to turn it off. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> All right. We're coming right back here. Okay. No, you're good. Come right back here. I'm not worried about your speed. Okay. Speed. >> Yes, sir. >> You got to get a warning for the speed. It's not a big deal. Okay. >> How much have you had to drink tonight? >> Six drinks. >> Uh, six drinks. >> Six drinks. Like, but like since like >> how long over how long? 8:00 p.m. >> 8:00. Okay. >> It's been a while. >> It's been a while. Okay. >> I met a girl on Instagram. You know what I'm saying? >> I hear you. >> Here's the deal. Okay. >> Yep. >> I'm going to give you a warning for the speed. I'm not worried about your speed. Okay. >> I want to make sure you're able to get in your car and drive home from this place. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. And what the way that we do that is through standardized field sobriety task. >> Yes, sir. And that show I've done, too. >> You've done, too? >> I've done two. I'm from Wisconsin. >> Okay. I got you. So, that's what I'm hoping to achieve tonight. Okay. I want to make sure you're able to get in your car and get and drive home from this place. Okay. So, you're on board with that? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. Give me a second. I got to get some stuff. I'll be right back with my hoodie off. >> Stand right here for me. Do what I want. Just stay right here. >> Have your hoodie on, man. It's cold out, buddy. >> What? >> It's cold out, man. >> No, I know. >> Sure. Go ahead. >> Thank you. >> Where are you from in Wisconsin? >> What's real? >> Uh, anywhere near a big city? >> Yeah. What? >> Anywhere near a big city? >> No. Uh, >> hands out of >> Highlander. >> Sorry, buddy. >> I live like an hour and 20 minutes from uh the Canadian border. >> Oh, so you're kind of way up there, aren't you? >> Yeah. >> So, do you live down here part-time or you just now for vacation? I >> I moved here uh four or five months ago. >> Yeah. Okay. >> But I I but I I grew up in uh Fort Lauderdale. >> So, you went from Fort Lauderdale to Wisconsin. Back over >> Yeah. My mom moved me to Fort Lauderdale. Fort Lauderdale. And uh um 20 2017 and a half whatever and uh I moved to South Carolina. >> I don't think I've ever said heard somebody say 2017 and a half >> Carolina in 2016 and I hated it. So I moved back to Wisconsin and moved back here like 2015. No, no, no. I'm sorry. Like three and a half months ago. So like 2017, whatever. Okay. >> And a half. >> I got you. >> Get it. >> Go and relax for me. You want to stay with your hands out and fetch them. We're not at ease. >> Couple question. Yeah. We're couple questions for you for before I do anything. Okay. Are you sick or injured right now? >> My what? >> Are you sick or injured right now? >> No, sir. >> All right. Um, if you will come out here for me. We're going to stand right here in the center. Okay. You face me for this first one. We're going to stand feet together, arms down our side. Just relax. We're not rigid. We're not out of tension. Right. at my at my hips, right? >> Yeah, just right here. Just just kind of see. I like that. You're doing just fine. Okay. >> Can you see? >> What was that? >> Somebody dropped the box or close the door or something. Are you okay? >> Checks out. Yeah. Yeah. I just >> I got you. I heard it, too. I know. I heard it. >> Do me a favor. >> Okay. Just like that. Arms on your side. Can you see the red tip of my finger right here? >> Yes, sir. I can. >> The red tip of my finger right here. >> Yes, sir. I can. >> You're going to follow with your eyes and your eyes only. Okay. It's going to start going back or side to side. We're going to follow with our eyes. Yes. >> Do you understand? >> Yes, sir. >> Do you have any questions? >> No, sir. >> Okay. >> HGN, horizontal gaze nagmus. >> Right. >> You see how it started moving? We're going to follow it. We're going to follow with our odds on our odds only. Okay. >> Yes, sir. Center. >> Right. >> You see how it's moving? >> Yes, sir. I am. >> Follow it with your eyes. >> Right. Center. Right. >> See how See how it's moving? Left and >> I'm listening, sir. Right. >> Do you understand? >> Center or down. >> Do you understand the instructions? >> Yes, sir. Why? When it moves side to side, you're going to follow with your eyes without moving your head. Do you understand? >> You want me to follow with my eyes? Yes, sir. >> Without moving your head? >> Yes, sir. >> So, when it goes back and forth, >> left to right, I'll follow my eyes, not my head. Yes, sir. >> Okay. >> Following right. >> Okay. >> Down. >> You look straight at me. Is there a reason why you're doing that? Do you not want to participate in this? >> I look straight at you. >> You're looking straight at me without >> I did not. I follow I followed the >> You did not. >> Incorrect. >> You didn't. After you yelled at me, I followed it to the right. >> I didn't yell at you. I haven't yelled at you yet. >> I'm I didn't say I >> So, okay, we're gonna start again. >> So, first of all, you'll you'll you'll put down that he can't follow instructions, that he's can't follow the pen, the the pen with his eyes. He's swaying back and forth, side to side. You'll put all that in the report as well. Um you're not supposed to call out. He's like center, right, up, down, right, center. >> Okay. >> Okay. Follow me. >> Together, arm down on her side. >> You see the red tip of my pen? >> Yeah. Yes, sir. >> It's going to start moving left and right. We're just going to follow it. >> Now that I mentioned it, it's probably going to go to the left first, but then it's going to go to the right, and I'm going to follow it >> with your eyes. >> Yes, sir. >> You're going to move your eyes. >> You want my hands back here? >> Whatever is more comfortable for you. Just relax. Yes, sir. >> Down to your side. >> Like that. >> I'm relaxed. Yes, sir. >> Follow with our eyes and our eyes only. Okay. >> Yes, sir. I see the light to my left. We wanted to keep following the red light. >> You want me to follow the red light? I'm following. Ready? Right. Right to the red and center and left. I still see the red and the white to the left. And we're going back center and to the right. Red. White is still to the left. Red to the right. Red to the [ __ ] middle. Red to the left. with the white. I find the white or the red red. >> I've done nagmus HGN hundreds of times. I've never had somebody do it like this. >> To the left. Red is going towards the right to the far right, but he stopped mid. Red is back to the white. Red is going towards the left to the white, but not 100%. Absolutely. Give me the eyes. Red is middle. Red is middle. Red is going towards the white. Towards the white. >> We're not following with our eyes anymore, sir. We're going to move on. Okay. >> [ __ ] Do you mean we're not falling to the right? What am I following with my [ __ ] balls? >> I don't know, buddy. I know. Pay attention to him. >> Yes, sir. For this next one, you got this line right here. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. By the way, he failed that miserably. And I can't even see his eyes. But what you look for when you when you come out here, you're you're watching it and your eyes will bounce when you're really intoxicated. Um, and then they also when they track, they like do they they don't like a windshield wiper is smooth. It's it skips along. They're looking for that, too. And then he couldn't follow instructions and he count he was narrating the whole thing. I mean, very funny. I'm already liking this kid. >> Okay. It's called the walk and turn >> or at least think he's funny. your shoes. I see you wearing moccasins. >> Nah, I mean they're not the best, but you know, >> if you'd like to take if you'd like to take them off, they're right ahead. Okay, it's up to you. It's a nice clean parking lot. I don't see any rocks. I don't see any glass. I don't see anything that would be a hazard. >> So, if you'd like to take them off, go right ahead. >> Man, that's tough. >> Okay. So, would you rather do it with your moccasins? >> Ah, [ __ ] I think I'll I think I'll do without. >> You can take them off. Go right in. I want to make sure you're comfortable with this. >> Yeah. Yeah, I think I'll do without. >> Okay. All right. So, this is our line. We're going to use this. Okay. When I instruct you to begin, we're going to keep our arms on our side, too. We're not going to be not airplane. Okay? So, when I instruct you to begin, you need to take nine heel totoe steps along that line. You take nine heel toe steps back in direction you came from. When you ready, go ahead. One, two, three, four, five. He can't keep his balance. >> He did too many steps. >> Are you done? >> Not yet. >> Seven. Eight. Fine. >> Dude, fine. Stay in there for me. Okay. >> Like this. >> Back on, bud. >> You want to put your shoes on? Go right ahead. They're right there. >> What do you mean? >> You can put your shoes back on. >> I'm not done. >> I thought I thought you were done. Excuse me. >> No. No, sir. I'm not done. >> Oh my goodness. >> What do you want from me? I'm not done. >> What did I What did I instruct? And then >> You asked me two steps ago if I was done. >> How many steps did I instruct you to take? >> You told me to go back and forth. I didn't tell you I was done. You You really didn't You didn't ask me if I was done. >> You didn't I'm not done yet. >> You let me know when you're done. >> Okay. Come over here, man. Right here. Okay. Um, for this next one, it's called the one leg stand. Would you like to try it, >> sir? >> The one leg stand. Would you like to try >> it? I've I've done it all. Trust me, I'm from Wisconsin. Okay. Well, >> can I get rid of these shoes? >> Would you like to do a barefoot? It's up to you. >> I I would like to do a barefoot. >> Kick them off right there. >> Right here. >> God damn, man. >> Ah, it's so it's so salty and cold. >> What do you want? >> Okay. Okay. >> Yes, sir. >> You have any questions for >> No, sir. >> When you are ready, go ahead. >> Oh, there's no way he's going to be able to do this. >> Which foot, sir? >> It's up to you. You choose. You choose the foot. >> Oh, boy. >> 100,00200. >> He's not even doing it right. >> Straight out our leg and pour out towards the horizon like I should 1005 1006 1007. What do you want to restart? 1008 1009 1,0 which is 10 seconds. Maybe 11 11,01 11,0 [ __ ] 14. E 12,000 >> 13,000. >> You can stop. >> For this next one, >> we're going to stand the same way. Okay. Put our feet together, arms out. Okay. >> Going to make two points for me right here. Okay. Bring them back down to your side. Okay. When I instruct you to, you're going to close your eyes and tilt your head back. Okay? >> For now, you don't have to do it. Just watch me. Okay? Okay. So, you're close your eyes and tilt your head back. Okay? >> I got to be honest. I wasn't sure about this one, but I >> say left. >> I'm having a good time. >> Left tippy tip of your finger and touch the tip of your nose. Just like that. >> Yes, sir. So, when I say left, left finger, left nose. >> When I say right, you take the right tippy tip of your finger, touch the tip of your nose, just like that. Okay? >> Right. Left. Yep. Now, when I say tip of your finger and the tip of your nose, I mean the very tip of your finger. Not the pad, not the side, not the nail, nothing like that. >> Yes, sir. >> Tip to tip. Just like that. Okay. >> Yes, sir. >> Do you understand? >> Yes, sir. >> Do you have any questions for me? >> No, sir. >> Okay. So, when you are ready, go ahead and close your eyes and tilt your head back. Okay. >> Just like that. Okay. >> Oh, man. >> Left, >> left, left arm, left nose. >> Left nose. I didn't know you had a left and a right nose. You can put your hand down each time when I call the instruction. You just bring your hand down. I'm not going to tell you. Okay. >> Yes, sir. >> Right. >> Right. Right arm, right? >> And he didn't put it down. So, he's not following the strength. >> Yes, sir. Down. >> Bottom right. >> Left. >> Left. Left arm. Left nose. >> That left nose. >> You can bring You can bring your hand down. >> Yes, sir. down. >> Oh my gosh. >> Both arms are down. >> Right. >> Right arm right here. Up. I'm in charge of I'm in charge. >> I backed the blue. >> Okay, I appreciate that. It doesn't mean you can drink and drive. >> No, that's absolute. But why would you back the [ __ ] away from me? >> What's that? Cuz he's going to >> Look, I don't want to be a buzzkill on a very funny video up to this point, but um I lost kids. my 22-year-old son, my granddaughter, and my daughter-in-law were all killed by somebody driving under the influence of alcohol. So, I have zero tolerance for somebody driving. It was his his the way he responded was was funny, but when I started to think about it, you know, like the seriousness of what he did and what he's doing and how he could have taken lives is is a serious matter. >> We got gloves. We got we got work we got to do here. >> Yeah, whatever. >> Okay, relax. You need anything right now? Right this second. >> Do you need an address for my car? Uh, it'll get towed to the yard. We'll get We'll let you know where it's going. >> What the [ __ ] you mean to the yard? >> To the toward. Impound lot. >> What? I got to pay. >> Well, I'm not sure. We got to pay. You got to pay. >> Yeah, I'll take care. I'll let him know. Hey. Hey. Where's my phone? >> It's in the car. Do not punch your head. >> I need my phone right now. Please. >> Please. >> Do not do that again or I'm going to hobble you. Do you understand me? >> What do you mean hobble me? >> Do not punch your head. >> What are you going to do? Throw me in jail? >> We're going to jail. I'll take care of [Music] >> Sir, >> I got your wallet and your phone. >> No, no, no. It's It's more important than that, sir. >> What's up? >> Look at my [ __ ] phone. >> What about your phone? >> My godamn girlfriend who's a elementary teacher ride home. >> Where is she? >> In Fort Meyers at 10:30, bro. Okay. Well, we'll arrange that. >> No, you [ __ ] won't. >> I'll see you later, Sergeant. >> Hey, you have this bad [ __ ] You think I'm [ __ ] playing games? >> Hey, listen. She needs to picked up or she's going to get fired. It's not even a joke. >> It's probably saved her life. >> She needs She needs someone to pick her up. I live with her, dude. Sir, please. Please pick her up. >> Oh, man. My head. Hey, let me go, bro. Let me show you what's up. That's what I thought. He ain't going to let me go. And I get it. I get it, Angela. Oh, I'm out. I'm out. My left hand is out. I'm loose. Oh, yeah. You better check You better check it out. Yeah, that's what I thought. Yeah, pull me in. Where are we? Alcatraz. Oh, the door is open. >> Hey, >> me. >> Are you going to calm down a little bit? >> Since when? >> Let you out. >> I've been I've been fine since I was arrested. >> Okay. >> Technically. >> All right. A lot of banging and yelling. >> May I get out? >> Yep. >> What the [ __ ] is that? An essay? DUI resisting arrest without violence 248 man. So in Arizona 008 is um a DUI 0.15 or greater is a is a a or is a extreme DUI and then over two is a super extreme. So he was a super extreme in Arizona, Florida. I don't know what their charges are. Um but yeah, he got charged and deserved to be charged. He was uh very funny at least. But this is a serious matter. I mean, people's lives are lost every day by people driving under the influence of alcohol. And there is no way that this kid was able to operate a vehicle effectively. um especially at a 248 and the way he was uh had no control, staggering all over, couldn't listen to instructions, slow reactions, everything about it. So, great job by these officers. They're very professional. I couldn't stop from laughing and uh they they probably saved at least the girlfriend's life and somebody else's life uh by stopping this guy and getting him off the road. So, well done, guys. I hope you like this video. Let me know if you thought it was funny as I did. Uh, comment, like, subscribe, and I'll catch you on the next video.
