I'm not driving. I'm not under the influence >> a vehicle. >> All right, everybody, welcome back. We got another video for you. This one comes from Patrol Cam Live, and it is Man Turns Verbal Warning into Life in Prison. I haven't seen it. Let's go. >> On May 30th, 2025, officers in Marysville, Ohio, were called for a report of a domestic dispute after neighbors reported a heated argument between a couple that had been going on for more than an hour. >> Ah, domestics and neighbor disputes are terrible to show up to. Always just emotions are super high. >> Well, I mean, yeah, but except for damaging your own property. >> I'm not damaging you nothing. I'm trying not to pull. We lost the keys to this car. I'm trying to move this car over so I can get out. >> Well, you know, you're damaging my stuff. >> Okay. >> So, we were called because I guess you guys are having an argument. >> No, sir. I'm not having an argument. >> He's been outside with me for the last 30 minutes, and we've been He's been helping me trying to move my truck. >> Who? >> My neighbor, Doug. He's right there. >> So, I want to speak to Doug. Where's your girlfriend at? >> Inside, probably. >> Inside? >> Okay. >> Can we have her come out here so we can talk to her? >> I don't know. Not really. >> She won't go talk to y'all. Hang out with him. >> Okay. >> I mean, do you guys have a warrant to be on my property? >> We're investigating complaint. >> Well, I do. >> Somebody called and said there's a dispute going on over here. So, that's why we're here to investigate. >> And she won't let me leave until she got through blocking me in. >> All right, so it sounds like a domestic. >> Figure it out. >> Okay, I have nothing to say. >> Okay. Stay out of your car. >> Okay, can I turn it off? >> Yeah, it's fine. >> He's literally been helping me try to get my truck out, and he won't let me come stay at his house. I just want my truck out of the way so she can't block me in. We're having a little argument. It's nothing too crazy, nothing physical, nothing anything. >> All right, if >> It's about talking about stuff that's going on. >> As long as there's nothing physical going on, people are allowed to argue. So, as long as that's all it is. >> Nothing physical goes going on. She said she was going to leave and I told her no, I'm going to leave, but now she won't move her car. So, my buddy just died 2 weeks ago. That's his car. Now I'm trying to pull me out sideways right here. I was actually going to go My neighbor's real cool with me right here and I was going to pull my truck sideways so I can drive out that way. >> Yeah. >> can park at his house. >> Okay. >> I'm literally not doing anything. I'm not drinking. I'm not on no drugs. I'm not on no nothing. >> Where does she live at? >> Here. We live together. We've been living here for like 3 and 1/2 years. >> Okay. Well, the neighbor said that she's not home and that she's walking around. Okay. Stay over here, man. >> Don't let her back in. >> Why am I being detained? Yeah. >> For what? >> Like I said, we're investigating a dispute. >> I know, but what is your reasonable or two suspicious suspension? >> So, he says he's not drunk or he's not on drugs, but he can't even say reasonable suspicion or probable cause. >> I just told you we're investigating a dispute. >> What's the dispute about? >> That's what we're trying to figure out. >> Okay, well, she's not here, then there's no dispute. >> Yeah, we still got to talk to people. So, you you're going to hang out here. So, you can hang out here or hang out back in one of our cars. >> I haven't broken any laws. I'm in my driveway. >> That's why I said you're detained. >> Okay, what law did I commit? >> I just said you're detained. I didn't say you broke a law. >> did I commit? >> I said you're detained because we're investigating a dispute. Yes. >> So, if I don't Yeah. Can't you guys tell I'm trying to move my truck around her car so I can go park out my neighbor's house and hang out for the night? >> Okay, then just hang out for a second so we can get everybody's story. >> Like >> Okay. >> She's the one that's [ __ ] telling me that she's about to kill herself because she doesn't like our relationship, so I'm leaving for her. >> Okay. Just hang out for a second. >> Dog, do you got my wallet? >> It's probably in the car. >> Where's he going? >> Oh boy has definitely been drinking. >> This is her car. This is my truck, full coverage. This is my buddy's >> Full coverage, guys. >> 2 weeks ago when I just took on his three kids. >> Are the kids here? >> No, my kids are at their dad's house, but the younger one, it's his birthday tomorrow and he's We're setting up for his birthday and getting all ready for it. And then and She don't think a PlayStation 4 is enough for and a 55-in TV is enough for a kid. She's mad because we can't get a PS5. Like then she wanted to put it on a credit card and [ __ ] I'm done putting [ __ ] on credit cards. I'm done. But I got work in the morning cuz I got to pay bills. >> Do you know where uh >> No. >> She would have walked through >> No. I'm not >> answering a number of questions. Call my lawyer present. >> Well, your lawyer is not coming out. You don't need to have a lawyer, dude, so stop. >> Right now, you know, we're just looking to see what was going on. You're not in any trouble. >> I know, so I'm free to leave, right? >> Yeah, if you want to go over to his house, I think that would be a great idea. It sounds >> I was trying to get my truck out of here real quick, but you guys kind of like kidnapped me right now. I can't leave. >> We didn't We didn't kidnap you anywhere. >> You pulled up, put your red lights on and told me to freeze. >> I don't have any lights on. >> You shined that light right there and told me to freeze and not to move. Yeah, I have everything on recording, bud. >> I I know what I did. >> I I know what I heard. >> I know what I did. I told you you can't leave cuz you're detained cuz we're investigating this vehicle. >> Okay, but she said I'm free to go. >> Yeah, because we're done investigating. >> Okay then. Bye. Toodles. >> Have you been drinking? >> No, I don't drink. >> How about marijuana? >> Nope. >> I smelled it. >> Yeah, I get prescribed my medical marijuana card. Do you want to see it? >> That's fine. I don't care. But I don't want to see you. I don't want to >> But, you can't drive while under the influence of marijuana. Even though it's legal to smoke it, you're not supposed to drive while under the influence of it. >> You drive. >> I'm not driving anywhere. >> That's great. That means >> I haven't smoked today. >> I wouldn't move this either. >> I haven't smoked today. >> Okay. I smelled some marijuana. >> Yeah, was it coming out of that car? >> Yeah. >> Yeah, that's not my car. Okay. So, what do you want me to do about it, sweetie? >> I just don't want you driving. >> Sweetie. >> I'm not driving. So, you don't need anything? >> Nope. Guys, be safe. >> And it's true, there's not much you can do at this point. Look, you've exhausted it. You you went over. He's not He wasn't in the driver's seat. He did have the keys in there, but you know. And uh he even if he was under the influence of marijuana, there's not much you can do about it. You couldn't make contact with her, so you really can't push the the domestic violence any further. And you don't have any other complaints, and so they're pretty much at a dead end, and this is a good call. You got to just walk away at this point. >> Notice. Okay. >> Before officers could leave the scene, the suspect jumped into his truck and began driving through his lawn, despite officers warning him about driving under the influence. >> So, now we have a problem. >> No problem. For what? You guys haven't What did I do? >> So, you was already instructed before not to getting back in the in the vehicle, right? >> She told me I can move it after you guys leave. >> have your neighbor do it. >> I haven't even left my property, ma'am. I am not drunk. You can have blood blood test me or whatever. >> Okay, we could do that. So, come on out so we can get that done. >> No, bring it over here. Blood test me. >> We can't blood test you here. >> you here. >> No, I'm I haven't even left my property. >> Okay, well >> Are you guys married? Your wife and you? You're his wife? >> Okay. >> I have not left my property. I moved it up here so he could [ __ ] move it. I haven't even left my property. >> Doesn't matter. You can be on your property if you are in control of the vehicle and they clearly he's driving the vehicle right now. >> You've been smacking into that other car. >> No, I didn't smack into the other [ __ ] car. Okay. This is my property. >> All right, Dustin. Come on out, man. >> I'm not stepping out. You guys can figure the [ __ ] out. I haven't even left my yard. >> Technically, you did. Technically, your left tire is in the street. >> This is my street until the [ __ ] about 3 in. This curb right here is my curb. If anything goes wrong with this curb, I pay for it. >> No, you don't. >> Like you guys came here for a dispute. Now you're trying to fish for something else. >> No, we're not fishing for anything else. We told you not to drive. >> I'm not driving. I moved it forward in my grass so he can drive it. I'm not driving. I'm not >> You're operating the vehicle. >> No, I'm not I'm not under any influence. That's not why you guys came here. >> No, that's not why we came here, but under investigation >> No, that's not how an investigation works. >> how investigation works. All right. >> right now. >> So, here's the deal. Either you get out of the vehicle or we're going to have to extract you out of the vehicle. >> For what? I didn't do anything wrong. >> Okay. So, I expect you to be either under >> How can you not have enough self-discipline to just sit there? Just wait like 5 10 minutes after the police leave. Then get in your vehicle. No, no, no, no. This guy's got no patience whatsoever. Totally not in control of his emotions. Decides to get in his vehicle and be the cool guy. I'm going to do this right in front of you cops. And now look at where we're at. >> The presence of alcohol or drugs. >> I'm not under alcohol or drugs. >> Okay. Oral vote. >> You guys don't have any of this in my vehicle. >> There he goes. >> You got it? >> Watch it. Watch it. Hey, stop the car. PUT YOUR HANDS UP. STOP THE CAR. >> UH-UH. >> Get out of the vehicle now. >> going to end well. I didn't do [ __ ] >> This is considered a deadly weapon. So, turn off the car. Do not run into the cruiser. >> Do not run into the cruiser. We have told you to get out OF THE CAR. GET OUT OF THE CAR. >> NO. >> JUSTIN, OUT OF THE CAR NOW. >> OUT OF THE CAR. >> OUT OF THE CAR. >> NO. >> SHOOT ME. >> OUT OF THE CAR RIGHT NOW, JUSTIN. >> Shoot me. >> TURN THE VEHICLE OFF. >> Turn it off. >> So, you're going to have to kill me. >> No. >> You're going to have to >> Justin. >> How do we go to How did he get to this point where he's like, "We're going to have to You're going to have to kill me?" It Anybody out there who doesn't think that he's under the influence of something here that's in making his behavior be a little bit uh erratic. >> Turn it off. >> You're going to have to kill me. You're going to >> Justin, listen to me. How many kids do you got? >> It doesn't [ __ ] matter. >> matter. >> No, it doesn't because you guys want to [ __ ] cause an issue. >> No, we don't. We don't want you to get hurt. Get out of the vehicle now. >> an issue. >> Justin, get out of the vehicle. >> Get out of the vehicle, Justin. Turn the vehicle off, man. >> No, I'm I haven't done nothing. >> You're operating the vehicle right now. >> You're under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Get out of the vehicle. >> Call me. I haven't even left my house. You're about to open my door. >> You're in the world right now. >> You're about to open my door. >> Listen, Justin. >> No, okay. >> Justin, listen to me. >> You're about to open the vehicle door. >> Just turn off the car. >> health problems and you're >> Okay. Then I want to help you. Justin, you want to talk to somebody, right? You want to talk to your neighbor. >> They're doing a good job. >> Turn the vehicle off and get out of the vehicle. >> Bring me to your house. >> Frankie, you're doing alcohol. >> Told me I can leave. Then you want to kidnap me? >> Walk to your neighbor's house. >> I was. Then you guys [ __ ] wanted to surrounded me. >> But we can't do the test from inside the car. >> Open my hands out here and I can blow into it. >> You don't have any portable breathalyzer. >> Something's got to go sideways here. >> We'll go. >> We'll figure it out later. >> Okay. >> No, not a different day. It's right now. >> charges? What are my charges? >> Operating a vehicle under the influence. >> What What is your article of suspicion? >> Right there. Slurred speech. Okay? >> trust you guys. >> But you need to turn off the car and get out of the vehicle. Okay, well, you got to turn off the vehicle. If you ram the the cruiser, it's going to get a lot worse. We don't want that to happen. It's literally driving right now. Okay. >> Oh, did he Whoa. Oh, man. Whoa. Who was doing the shooting? Oh, man. >> Shots fired. Shots fired. >> Wow. >> Oh, no. I got hit by something. >> You good You good You good? >> so. I got hit by something, but >> All right. >> I think it was a firecracker. >> Yeah, you got it or what? >> Firecracker. Yeah, you go get this guy now. Ooh, boy. >> He's turning out 30 41. >> Westbound on 33. >> They're not getting away. >> Sparks are flying from under the vehicle. >> 19E swerving back and forth, taking up both lanes. >> 19E clear passing Northwest Parkway westbound. >> He's bailing. >> Yeah, it's state troopers, IT LOOKS LIKE. >> HANDS UP! HANDS UP! THERE'S ONLY ONE PERSON IN THE CAR. >> THERE'S ONLY ONE person in the car. >> Put your hands up! >> That matters, because now you know, like if you need to use lethal force, you don't have to worry about um having, you know, somebody else get hit, which I've seen. Innocent people that you didn't know were in the car that have actually gotten shot. >> Moving up. >> No. >> So, it looks like he got out of the vehicle, right? >> Roll on your stomach. >> Laying down there. >> Stop moving, brother. Roll on your stomach. >> So, it looks like they hit him. >> Roll on your stomach. Roll on your stomach. Keep rolling. Keep rolling. >> He's not very good at listening to instructions, so I wouldn't have high expectations at this point. >> Got it. >> Now, you don't know you can't see his hands. You don't know whether he's got something in his hands or not. I don't know if they hit him or what. >> In the neck, man. He's been hit in the neck. >> Okay, so it looks like he's got hit in the neck. Look, this is the dangers of being a cop. You have no idea what this guy has, hep, AIDS, any of that. And now, you know, the cops, we get blood on ourselves. We don't have time to put gloves on a lot of times. And you now are walking up rendering aid. Not the ideal situation. You know, half the time you got cuts on your hands, it can be a It can be a very dangerous situation. So, here we go, putting gloves on. Smart. >> Acting right here. >> So, they're grabbing the packing to pack the wound. It'll stop the bleeding. It's um a lot of what we do now is training for the packing, carrying multiple gauze packages so that we can stuff the wound. I don't know if he's going to get a life in prison, but I'm guessing he's going to get at least 10 years. Sometimes the crime and the punishment Sometimes the crime and the punishment are served at the same time. This looks like deputies. So, I think that he might have shot at the cop at the house. There is a firearm. >> The suspect, 29-year-old [music] Dustin Ohm, opened fire on officers from >> Okay, so he did. That's what I was trying to figure out. Um just the way the glass broke and everything, it just was weird. >> inside his vehicle as the officer [music] tried to take him into custody. The officer was injured from flying debris, but she was not >> Lucky. And I appreciated the aggressiveness. She closed in the distance. This is just the risk we run. And uh she's lucky that it she was not hit. >> He was transported to a local hospital, treated, and [music] released. No other officers were hurt. Dustin then fled the scene, striking a squad car and several other vehicles before [music] he was stopped after a pursuit. He was charged with attempted aggravated murder, three counts of felonious assault, weapon under disability, failure to comply, discharging a firearm into a habitation, and vandalism. [music] >> They stacked him a bunch of them up. >> pled guilty and was sentenced on April 3rd, 2026 to 58 to 63 and a half years in prison with 54 years mandatory. >> 54 years mandatory? Yeah, that is basically life in prison. Let's hear what time when he'll get out, what age. >> He'll spend decades behind bars with an estimated release date of September 28th, 2083. >> 2083. So, he's 29 now. He got a A of 54 years, so he'll be 79, 83, 84 years old by the time he gets out, all because all he had to do was wait till the police left. That's it. He didn't have to do anything. All he had to do was wait till the police left and he would have been fine. But no, he had to aggravate the situation making threats, eventually shot at a cop, and then he ends up getting shot in the neck and now goes to prison. Thankfully, the the sergeant wasn't hurt and I thought they did a good job. They tried to they they were cool in the beginning, they investigated it, they when they hit a dead end, they started to leave. He gets in the truck, they know that he was showing signs of impairment, they tried to stop him from getting on the road. He ends up shooting at him. Luckily, she wasn't hit, but they didn't mess around in Ohio. 53 year 54 years minimum is what he has to serve, up to 63 potential. He that's life in prison. That's life in prison. So, and frankly, he deserves it. We can't have these folks out in public that are trying to kill cops and and running amok like this and have no grip on life. So, let me know what you think. Comment, like, subscribe. How would you have handled this? Do you think they did a good job? I do. Um and I'm so happy that nobody else was hurt. Let me know what you think. Comment, like, subscribe. We'll catch you on the next video.
