Uh we're going to try to get you out of here quickly so you can go home. >> dude. Like come on. I'm being serious, dude. 22 mark 100 in custody and start of the hunt. I want you to sit inside the police car. >> No, but like >> to sit down. I I get all that. Yeah, just get in the back of the Watch your head. Come on, man. I'm not careful. Like Oh my god. Everyone, it's Trent fired up with the Sheriff Patrol Sergeant and K9 handler. This is one of those DUI investigations where it's immediately apparent that the suspect is extremely intoxicated to the point of being over the legal limit of 0.08 and of course making it very dangerous for him to be operating a motor vehicle on the roadway potentially putting a lot of lives in jeopardy. It's noted in the officer's report the original reason for the vehicle pullover is the suspect was essentially all over the roadway crossing over the limit line multiple times. And then we see as the video progresses just how intoxicated this suspect is showing all of those tailtale signs of impairment. Not to mention him trying to get this officer to let him go and then of course the fact that he is the high school principal thinking that's going to somehow get him out of this situation. And in my opinion, if he is the high school principal, he should be holding himself to some sort of higher standard being an educator and in a role of authority and leadership. But this officer maintained his professionalism of course, did his job and did everything he was supposed to do ultimately ending in the arrest of this suspect. And I'm not entirely sure what the suspect's blood alcohol concentration level was or BAC. It's not noted in the report. What is noted is the suspect refused two separate occasions to provide a breath sample which he has to provide by law once he is arrested for DUI. Failure to do so means this suspect's driver's license is automatically suspended no matter what. And typically what law enforcement will have to do after that is obtain a search warrant for the suspect's blood to determine his blood alcohol level. This officer does state that later on upon the suspect's release, he proceeded to verbally assault these officers including one of the supervisors stating the entire thing was a setup. They had no right to pull him over. They were out of their jurisdiction. Basically doing a bunch of things and behaving in such a way that will probably not look good for him when it comes time to go to court especially being a high school principal. He was charged with DUI, improper lane usage, and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. He remains innocent until proven guilty. [Music]
