You are a disappointment and you are just following him. So, you are also a disappointment. You may shut the up and not tell me when I may take my kids. >> All right, everybody. Welcome back. We got another Karen video involving none other than a woman named Karen. So, let's jump right into it. This is one is out of New Jersey. >> So, I know what's going on right now. Let me just kind of give you the backstory. they were driving this car, whether it was tinted windows or something, they were pulled over >> and whether it was the registration, >> it sounds like there's a problem with the registration. >> Could that be done from the light? I mean, there >> probably [Applause] one of their >> So, it sounds like there probably a problem with the registration, but either way, they decide the Tennifly PD decides, hey, we're going to tow this car. So, this girl you see here waving this card over is the daughter of a woman named Karen Turner who was on this commissioner, law enforcement commission, I think, out in that area. And so, she calls her mom to come over and pick her up. And this is really the part of video we're going to watch. >> No, you can take check remotely. I've done it before in Illinois, so I'm not sure. >> I have I can only tell you New Jersey. I have no idea about I if I told you something it might be completely incorrect. >> New Jersey I can tell you 100% what what the process I have no idea what it's about. You're going have to pull their DMV unfortunately not till Monday with the holiday weekend. So >> all right. So you guys are all set. Tow truck driver have what do we need? How do we get >> So they called the tow truck driver. Tow truck driver is coming to get the car. >> The car has >> valid registration valid insurance card. How do they know that this is her car? Like, don't you need to give us a receipt or something? Like, how are they going to know that this one? >> This is a receipt. This goes on file. >> Hi, I'm Karen Turner. >> Hi, I'm a resident. Here you go. It's >> fine. We don't I don't I don't need that. >> Okay, fine. I'm >> You're just here. You're just here as a writer. All right. >> No, I'm not. >> Okay. >> I'm here as a concerned citizen and friend of the mayor and been in Tennifly for 20 years. I take full responsibility for them. And what is >> I'm Karen Turner. I'm a citizen and I'm a friend of the mayor and I'm here to take responsibility for them. Okay. When you have a traffic stop and they involve adults, those are the only people you have to deal with. This lady here is supposed to just come and pick up the kids because the car is getting towed. But she decides to come in and try to throw her some weight around. I don't think it's going to go the way she wants it to go. >> The reason they were pulled over, >> the driver has all the information. He'll tell you. >> No, no, no, no, no. I need to know. >> No, you don't need to know. >> Okay. >> We're not involved here. You're picking them up. >> No, no, no. I'm involved. Trust me. >> I'm not going to tell you. He's the driver of the automobile. He's over 18. That's all you need to know. >> Um >> Okay. Okay. >> If you can We don't need to see credentials. >> Okay. >> You need You need a >> If you can give me a little bit of space here. So, she's already trying to badge him up and show some credentials off. >> Are you a commissioner? Commissioner. I am the commissioner. One of the commissioners and I'm heading up. Do >> you have an ID with that? >> That is my ID and that is my business card. I am the commissioner of the Port Authority and I'm heading up over 4,000 police officers. Okay. >> Okay. So, she's the commissioner of the Port Authority and she says I'm heading up over 4,000 police officers. Well, let me tell you what else she was. She was a co-chairman or a vice chairman on a pack for Hillary Clinton. I don't remember what the pack was, but it was something like ready for Hillary, I think is what it was. So, probably not super pro law enforcement even though she's on the Port Authority Commission. But let me just let her behavior uh tell you a little bit more about Karen. >> So, if there's a problem, I think I have >> There's no problem. >> Well, I think there's a problem. an unregistered vehicle. >> Okay, let's hear what is Why were they pulled over first of all? >> Miss. >> Now, don't call me Miss. I'm commissioner. Thank you. >> Okay, commissioner. They call her miss, which is appropriate. And she says, "Don't call me Miss, call me commissioner." This is the type of Karen. This is like This is why people are called Karens. >> Commissioner. Yes. All >> they pulled over. >> All due respect. >> Yep. >> Why did driver? No, no, no. I need to know. >> The car is getting towed now. >> Why is the car getting told? >> Go ask him. >> No, no. I'm asking. You're the person who ordered it and trust me, >> miss. This does not involve you 1%. >> Yeah, it does. It does. It does because I'm picking them up and I'm offering to take responsibility for them and you can't even tell me the charges. I'm also an attorney. So, I think if you can't tell me what is the problem? >> That's fine. Why is it so difficult to just say why they're being pulled over and why the car? Because everything has already been explained. I know >> if she's an attorney, she should know that they don't have to tell her anything. They're adults. I love this cop. He's like, "Go ask them." >> But I know why. Why do you need to know? >> Because this is impacting me. Cuz I got four people who are coming back to my house, including people who live in New Haven attending Yale Graduate School. a PhD student and I don't know why it's so difficult to say what the problem is. This is impacting me. On Easter Sunday, I got to take four people back to New Be. Yeah. I want to know what the problem is. >> It's more of the way you just approached me and and your demeanor. >> You know what? Okay. That's >> I'm I'm being honest with you. >> I want to know why. >> I just don't appreciate your demeanor. You're being very demanding with me. >> No, I'm asking you a question which is not being answered. >> But it doesn't need to be answered. It's irrelevant. >> You know what? >> If you'd like to read my report, you can come down to police department records on Monday and you can get a copy of it. >> And you can >> I am under >> there is no You have no right to know what's going on. >> This is No, I do. >> Explain to me why. >> Because these are poor people that I have responsibility. >> Why do you have They're all adults. >> That's my daughter >> and she has she's a backseat passenger. She's a backseat passenger. And there's a problem with you describing it because you don't feel confident why why these people are being told. >> Your daughter has not been summoned. She was not the driver. This is not her vehicle. It's not your vehicle. >> I'm sorry. How are you involved? >> But this is not going to be if you have a problem explaining what the problem is and why their car is being confiscated, then we have a problem. And trust me, I will be in with the commissioner of police of Teniply. >> Take a step back. Take a step back. Can't even describe what >> take a step back for me. I can't move back any farther. I keep moving back farther and you keep moving closer to me. >> Can you take a step back? >> The problem is >> because I'm not because of the your demeanor. >> No, I can't. No legal obligation to tell you. >> And I'm under no legal obligation to tell you what I will be doing. >> But you can do whatever. >> That was a dumb comeback. They were They're like, "We don't We're under no legal obligation to tell you." Well, guess what? I'm in noah under no illegal obligation to tell you what I'm going to do after this. >> We've been she's been friend you >> this is a lawful motor vehicle stop. You are here to pick them up. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Report. >> The driver has been advised of everything that's going on. >> Okay. I was there for your graduation when you guys came in in the town and it wasn't that long ago. >> What graduation? What are you talking about? >> Okay. What graduation and Catherine, thank you for your information and help. You know what? >> I hope you have a really nice holiday weekend, too, cuz you just ruined it for a lot of people >> without even the decency. >> I didn't ruin anything. I was doing my job. >> Yeah, you did. I would just hope you being a commissioner, this is their pass. >> You would understand the job police officers have to do. But >> there is no explanation. How can I understand? >> You didn't even ask the decency. You didn't even ask. >> Oh, I'm sorry. Because it's Easter and they go to Yale and they're better than all the rest of us. They can't have I mean, they were the ones driving with the vehicle that wasn't properly registered. They the police officers do their job only to have some Karen show up and tell them that they're ruining their Easter weekend. >> I'm asking you because you're the one that's making the report a problem, stating it. I'm going to appreciate the way you approached me. The way you demanded information, the way you're demanding based off of your position in another agency, >> whatever it may be. I mean, you have a business card with credentials. I don't know you. I just met you a minute ago. You have no official identification. >> You know, Lewis, what's >> What does that have to do with anything? >> Well, I'm just telling you who I am. I've been in the town for 20 years and as a courtesy I would like to understand the rationale for they are being pulled over and their car confiscated. This is a courtesy. I don't know why >> I believe you should ask your daughter and the driver of the motorcycle. >> My daughter is a backseat passenger as you said. You're making the accusation. I would like to know >> what accusation. >> The accusation of I don't know what because you haven't told me. They're telling me to go Monday and read the report. When these kids, >> you said ask them. >> It's not. They It's not them. [Music] I'm not going to ask the driver what you are accusing them of wrongdoing. I'm asking you because you're the source of the accusation. They are not the source. You're the source. So, I'm trying to go to the source. if you want me to go to their side of the story. >> You can look at her face and she's trying to come up with how to say this in her head. And I think even in her own head, she realizes she sounds ridiculous. I would hope so, but maybe not. Maybe she's so not just disconnected. >> I don't do that. >> I think that's the best thing at this point. >> You know what? I'm very disappointed in the way the two of you are acting. You cannot even tell me a mother living in tennis play for 20 years with two kids who went through the school system. What's the problem? And that's shocking. It's shocking that you can't even give me a sentence. >> The entitlement. The entitlement. Because her she's a mother that her kids went to school. So have a ton of other people. Here's the bottom line, Karen. They're adults. These cops are right in not telling you anything. They go find it out from your kids. This how easy this could have been. They could have just got in the car and left and she could have asked the kids what happened. >> This will just for safety reasons. This is a highspeed road. I think we should all get off of the road. A little bit dangerous for us being out here as long as we were anyway. >> Thank you for your concern with my safety. >> I don't need it. You can't put a sentence together. Sorry. >> Okay. >> That's pathetic. And you are a disappointment. And you are just following him. So you are also a disappointment. You can't put together a schedule of what the problem now. >> Are you finished, ma'am? >> I'm shocked. I'm distracted and very disappointed. >> You may take them. You may take them now. >> You may not tell me when to take my child. You may shut the [ __ ] up and not tell me when I may take my kids and her friends who are PhD students from MIT and Yale. You may tell me nothing because you told me nothing. Shame on both of you. I will be talking to the chief of police and I will be speaking to the mayor. >> Number 540. >> I got your name. I got your name. >> Just to make sure there's no discretion before I there's no dis. >> Matt is the first. >> No. >> No. >> Love this guy. >> As long as you got all the information right. >> I got all your information, sweetheart. You can't put a sentence together. That's shameful. Okay. >> That's shameful. >> Have a pleasant weekend. >> You have a wonderful weekend. You're going to I got to send a couple challenge coins to these guys out in Tennifly because they I love the way they handled this. They said, "Ma'am, you you can go now." And she says, "You can go f off." Uh this coming from somebody who's supposed to be an affluent mother nonetheless, but uh in full Karen, she told him to f off and then went on to chastise him. And I just love how patient they were. And uh honestly, it probably made her more mad. [Applause] Just the receipt for impound is that all contained in there is no receipt for >> they can't even tell you the what the reason tell me the reason why you didn't pull over [Applause] What company are you? >> Find out the what? The location of the No, it's the police department. >> Okay, cool. [Music] >> Police headquarters. >> Look at this. >> Shame on you. Shame on you. >> Have a pleasure. [Applause] >> Have a nice day. >> Come back. Take care. Now, [Applause] Matt from Tennifly, I forgot what your badge number is. I should have wrote it down. You're awesome. That was master class in in Karen handling a Karen. Um, that was the tow truck driver that drove off in the car. Karen's going to take these kids off to somewhere else. This one didn't result in any charges, but I just thought it was great how they handled this situation. Now, give you a little bit more. The story continues to go on. Oh no, here comes Karen again. Hold on. Wait, she almost did. She thought better of it. Oh no, she's coming back for more. Hold on. Hold the thought. I guess she's going to go talk to the tow truck driver. All right, whatever. Karen, um, she worked at the Port Authority, the Tennifly Police Department. They actually sent this over to the Port Authority Commission and she with I think she as soon as this came out, I don't know how what the distance was, but immediately when they became aware of it, she resigned. Uh, so Karen did not did not her power was not as extensive as she thought it was and her ability to get these kids out of driving and without know registration was not as powerful. The kids were great. They were respectful. Um, the kids that go to Yale and MIT, she made sure that everybody knew that they were very respectful contrary to uh this mother showing up. So Karen, you got out. Karen, they she didn't get out. Karen, she had a master class of how to deal with Karen's put on her. So, well done, Matt. Well done, Tennifly PD. I hope you guys enjoyed this. Uh, make sure you comment. Let me know what you thought of of this video. And make sure you like, subscribe, and keep coming back for more. I'll catch you on the next video. Thank you.
