On the ground. On the ground. You're going to jail and you probably won't get off >> or is there any more? >> Probably years. >> Years. >> Welcome back, Sheriff Lamb for another video review here. >> I've not seen this one. So, let's check it out. >> On July 9th, 2023, the Pleasant Prairie Police Department in Wisconsin was on patrol when he observed a vehicle in the left turn only lane travel through the intersection without turning left. This simple traffic violation should have been a quick conversation and possibly a ticket. >> Yeah, nothing big. >> But the suspect had other plans. >> Not really driving in her lane either. Kind of failure to be driving. >> So simple traffic stop. Looks like she is not stopping >> from 165. >> Okay, >> I'll take a second. >> Looks like she might be pulling over. running. [Music] >> I tell you, when you get on these traffic stops, it's like you have no idea what's going to happen. Boom. Took off. >> Now, this going to turn into a pursuit. >> Simple. Remember, all she did was drive through and decided to turn this into a major problem. Now, Reason for the stop is going to be disobeying a traffic sign. Speeds are 60. One occupant female black. So he was able to get a driver description when he walked up. So he could clearly see the driver. So obviously this is driving in the lane is the least of her problems right now. >> Zero traffic. Now she's driving opposite way. Wrong lane. Wrong way. Very dangerous. Lucky nobody's there. >> On the wrong side of the road. No traffic. Looks like we'll be going westbound. Hunty. >> Ran a stop sign. Like when you're when you're going through this, you'll make a mental note as you're tracing these people of all the different infractions because >> I'm still right behind her. There she is >> going westbound on C. Still past the interstate >> reckless still westbound from the west frontage road. She's in the wrong lane of traffic. >> Now in our agency we got into a lot of pursuit. So she's back on the other side in the wrong track. >> Almost ran in head on with some people. Passing in a double yellow >> 250 light traffic passing the 13100 block. Speeds are 90. >> Remember this started from her not not turning out of a turn lane. >> 29 let KSD know Highway 45 is going to be next. Speeds are 100. Light traffic >> 100 milesPH. Now you got to stop this lady. She's already driven wrong way a couple times. She's putting a lot of people at risk. Um, >> you got to hold You got to get her off the road. You got to stop her. >> 93. >> I'm still good. >> Speeds are 110. No traffic. >> 110's fast. >> Road conditions are good. >> Fast on these roads, too. 29 coming up to MB. I'm slowing down just because of the roundabout. She's going about 90 into it. >> 90 into a roundabout, which she's probably not going to be able to maintain this. Boom. No. Oh. Oh, somehow she >> 29. We're still >> Somehow she survived that roundabout. >> Speeds are only 60. Light traffic. 209. She did pop her left tire. So, we do have one tire down at minimum light traffic. >> Yeah, whenever she ran over it, it popped her tire. So, this is >> It's tough to drive when your tires go out. >> 17,000 block, >> which is why we use spike strips. >> He's still rocking though. She's still >> 80 miles hour still. >> 29 coming up to medium traffic. speeds are set. >> You'll hear him consistently call out the traffic. So, his sergeant's going to hear him the speeds and the traffic. >> Usually you're, you know, obviously directions, but speeds and traffic. >> You could hear him hitting his uh horn on his siren so that he could notify the motorcycle that >> they were coming up on here. >> Passing 18500 block. Got tire debris hitting the car. >> 209. You took the tires out. >> Looks like front left and left rear are blowing out. So, we're slowing down to about 80. Coming up to 45 >> still 80 miles hour on >> couple tires. >> 211. I'll keep you for a little bit longer. >> Oh, she's struggling. >> I'm heading out that way. >> Oh, wait. >> 29 PD. She spun out. I'll be boxing her in. Right over here on the front road. >> Get on the ground. Get on the ground. >> She gets out of her car. >> Making a phone call as if nothing happened. >> I don't have nothing. I don't have nothing. >> Doesn't have nothing. >> Mom, >> calling her mom. >> Doesn't want to be held accountable anymore. 2071 in custody. >> In my opinion, she should go to jail for prison for a couple years based for this. >> I hope they did I hope she did get some type of sentence. We're going to find out what they charged her with here. >> For a simple ticket. >> That's it. All that for a simple ticket. >> Back over there. >> I don't have nothing. >> Well, then you should have stopped. Put your knees up. >> Yeah. Get up. >> Dumb. >> She hit your car. >> Dumb. Dumb. I didn't hit nothing. >> He spun out cuz she was driving like a [ __ ] maniac. >> Get in there. >> I'm driving like >> I'm not even going to discuss it. >> Yeah. Don't even Don't even bother. >> You probably won't get out for a bit. >> He's right. Don't even discuss it. She's playing stupid. >> Probably years. >> Years. >> Yeah. Years. like a lunatic. >> Look, the cop's not not happy. And people they always think that cops should be your name. >> But look, this is a high adrenaline, high energy thing. Put a lot of people at risk. You can his his irritation with her is justifiable. >> It's not worth anything with what you're going through. It's a ticket. >> So a suspended license, she would have got a ticket. It would have been a little pricey, but it would have been a ticket and that would have been it. So that's popped her tire and then she did a full 360. >> Then I was like, I'm ending it right here. >> Yeah, >> that's what we're going to do. I mean, I don't want to damage. >> So I was assuming that she was going to go south on 45 that she knew where she was at. So I was at Q and 45 waiting with bikes. >> Thank you. Well, she wanted to go south on the interstate, but I uh prevented >> perfect. >> The subsequent search of her vehicle yielded no evidence of additional crimes. However, she was charged with two felonies, fleeing an officer and firstderee recklessly endangering safety. >> She spent nearly 3 weeks in jail before she posted a $20,000 bond. >> Too low. >> Currently, she is awaiting a plea hearing scheduled for March 2025. She has entered a plea of not guilty to both felony charges. >> How are you going to enter not guilty? I mean, I know that's the standard, not enter not guilty, but how are you going to say you're not guilty? It's all on camera. >> Look, I I think that she's going to end up serving time in prison. We're going to find out and have to do like a follow-up video to find out if she's actually been adjudicated. Sounds like they had a plea hearing on in March, but uh we'll find out and hopefully get you some more information on it. but she deserved to be charged with this and it all started with because she felt like she didn't shouldn't be held accountable and uh she lost. So that's my assessment. I think she should go to prison. We'll see you later. Catch me on the next one.
