I've seen a >> Hey, she left in a vehicle. >> Through my window. I thought I'm watching >> Look at this. This is what kind of chaos we deal with where everybody's chalking at once. This person's screaming over here. This person's handing you a phone, trying to show you stuff. This is the chaos that you sometimes get to when you walk up on a scene. >> 299, I have the vehicle. >> She crashed into the bunch. She kept going. >> It's a male driver, right? >> There's a homeless lady here just 1 minute ago. >> I don't know what you're saying, lady, cuz you got a mask on. I can't freaking understand what you're saying. How that the homeless lady avoided being run over by the Maybe she did get run over. I don't know. But like this guy's saying, he thought that she was wrapped up underneath the wheels. Looks like it's down in like Miami or something. >> There's no one injured. Hi, doing? >> What's up, guys? How you doing? >> Good. How you doing, bro? >> Good, good. Got your driver's license and insurance? You guys got your IDs? Got your ID with you, ma'am? Okay, that's perfect. Thank you, sir. I'm just going to put [laughter] this on top right here, okay? Just put your hands Put your hands right there on the dashboard, okay? Everybody put their hands on the on on the steering wheel, okay? In a little bit I'm going to ask you to step out. Just got to step out with your hands up and I'll remove for you, [laughter] okay? The passenger has a firearm. Is that on the Is that a Is a white rail? I'm going to take him out real quick, okay? Not you. Not you. Not you. >> We're at nine okay's so far. >> Any more firearms in this car? >> No, sir. >> Okay. I'll get her. I'll get her. >> Uh you know these two dudes were just They pulled They rolled up and like, "Hey, what's up, girl? "Why don't you take that big old suitcase, put it right here in the trunk of this car, we'll get you out of here?" >> No, just stay on that side. Seatbelt? You might want to take your seatbelt off, honey. Leave all that in there. Just take your book bag off. >> Busted. >> Can you put my hands right here? >> No, no, no. I'm opening it for you, okay? Just step out. Step out. >> Can you Can you reach over and get my receipt book? >> For that right here? >> No, no. My firearm was right here. >> Okay. >> Can you reach over and get my receipt book? >> Yeah, yeah. >> I respect these guys letting them know that he had a gun. And And frankly, having a gun on you totally legal. Um if I don't know if this looks like sounds like looks like Florida and probably and I'm pretty sure it's legal there, too. Now, if you're felon, it's not legal. We'll see what these two guys are. >> No, sir. I'm the only one with the seatbelt on. >> I appreciate Just Just remove Remove the seatbelt and then come out the car, okay? Dog? Okay, I got you. I got you. You okay? You're a police officer or not? >> No, no, sir. >> Oh, okay. Okay, I got you. >> Come on, baby. >> Just keep your hands right there. Put your hands on top of your head. I'm going to make sure I got no weapons on you, okay? On top of your On top of your head. Spread your feet. Spread your feet. All right. >> I'm having a hard time paying attention to everything else because they're counting all the okay's. >> [laughter] >> Okay. >> Sit down next to your boy, okay? >> Uh you have much to check there. Yeah, you ain't hiding much in that dress. It's like a nighty. Boom. >> The driver who gave Sharon a ride was later identified as Bobby, 40 years old. And what officers discovered during his arrest would make it clear who they were dealing with. >> We got a long time to go in this video, so I'm guessing there's some good stuff coming up. >> You conceal weapons in your wallet? WHERE IS IT WHERE'S it from? >> Firearm is legally in my name, sir. >> Okay. >> The other guy, the guy in the white, he went and helped her with her stuff out of the car and told her to go to his car and let her in, so you should go. >> Did they get a description of her clothing or anything? >> No, I think all they said was a like a pink floral hair, yeah. >> The car drove that way. >> I mean, you definitely got Obviously, they haven't seen some of the video that the uh in it the witnesses had, but clearly they got the right lady. >> And then the car goes that way and just put her on the ground. >> Yeah. >> Is that her? >> Um it's a white Oh, if it Oh, yeah, that is her. Yes, it is. Yes, that's definitely 100% her. >> There you go. >> That's the girl in the dress. Oh my >> So, what they do here is you're going to do a drive-by on them, not like a bang-bang drive-by, but you drive past the person, you bring them out there, you shine the You typically you'll shine like the spotlights on them, so they can't see the witnesses coming by, but you drive the witness by and they get a good look at the person and tell you whether or not that's the right person or not. So, there looks like they're doing a couple drive-by identifications here. This guy gave 100% saying, "Yes, that's him." >> Okay. >> You're a big boy, so I'll going to of these on you, okay? I mean, you should have more or less of an idea, right? >> No, I don't know what it looks. We just This girl just asked us for a ride. I seen it was an accident. We was like "Are you the person that had had this accident?" She told us that the guy she was driving with had an accident, so she asked if we could give her a ride to her downtown apartment. >> Sounds made up. >> Yeah, but if you knew she was involved in an accident, why would you know, like you know? You're putting yourself in a position, you know, in a very bad position on that, man. You know, she told you, "I was involved in an accident," you know? >> No, she never Look, she never told us that she was in an accident. She actually said she was with All right. >> Some of my stuff is in that car. >> Your stuff is in that car? >> Yeah, can I get my stuff? >> I don't know what they're going to do about that. Do you know those individuals? >> No, I don't. >> So right Well, how did you get in the car? >> Can I just get my bag from them? >> You have a bag in that car? >> I have a bag and a wallet. >> So how did That's what I'm saying. Do you know them? Do you want >> I just met them today, and then I also have like a luggage. >> You got all of that in that car? >> Yeah, cuz I was transferring to another hotel. >> Oh, okay. >> I just met them today, so I don't know like I don't really trust them that much. >> You don't trust them enough to be driving around? >> I mean, I called an Uber, but they were like, "Oh, we can drive you." >> Oh, okay. >> I bet they did. They saw her, and they said, "Hey, girl, what's going on? Let us take you, give you a ride." Imagine getting in a car with I think there's three actually, three dudes that you don't know, supposedly, getting in a car with them and just driving off with them. I I don't know. S Stupidity. That's all That's what we got going on in this world in a lot of places. >> the weapon or anything like that, right? >> No, sir. >> Sure, no little knives, little baggies looking crazy, right? >> No, sir. >> All right, man. Look, listen. Unfortunately, this chick was involved in an accident. He fled the scene of a of a of an accident that caused a lot of damage, dude. I'm sure you saw the accident. >> But but bro, I >> I'm sure you saw the accident. >> Yes, sir. That don't got nothing to do with me, though. >> I know. I asked you, okay? I asked you. Is there anything on you and >> He asked him or he asked him. >> And I told you to be honest with me, man, and now you're me. So, now we're having we're going to have a different conversation. >> Yes, sir. >> So, now I'm going to ask you again, is there anything else? >> No, sir. >> So, you're willing to risk everything for this little bit for this little bit of freaking >> No, sir. >> Now, I'm going to ask you again, is there anything else? >> No, sir. >> You sure? >> Positive. >> What, you think I was going to find it? That's why you're sweating, you're nervous. >> Let me ask you this, sir. Would you let my friend Dominique >> No, unfortunately not since it's a it's a rental car and you are under the rental agreement. >> What can I tell you to get me out of the arrest for? To get me out of the rental car, bro. >> You gave her a ride and you knew she was involved in an accident. You told me. >> No. >> She She told me she was driving and I didn't know anything. >> You were driving like 5 seconds ago, buddy. >> That's what she told you, sir. That's what she told >> You said you got nothing in your crotch. You know I let you know when we get over there it's a felony. You know that, right? >> I'm sorry, I don't have anything. >> So, you you didn't know she got into an accident? >> No, she told me that someone was driving. >> You were freaking driving so fast. >> She didn't I didn't know she had an accident at all. >> Hey, Nick. Hurry up and bail me out right now, bro. >> This is crazy. >> All right. >> How you doing, Mr. Officer? >> How you doing, man? Dominique. >> Yeah, give me give me something to drink. >> You guys are not going to jail, so don't don't worry. You You guys ain't going to be putting handcuffs on after. They're involved in a crime, so they're going to go to jail. They're going to be at TGK. All right, your boy and the female. Um the firearm we're going to impound >> TGK. I don't know. Maybe that's the name of the jail down there in Miami. >> police station. It comes back clean, it doesn't come back stolen. >> It feels like Miami. >> We're going to impound it. Um and you can get it tomorrow morning, okay? Simple as that. All right, you okay with that? >> Yeah, yes, sir. >> You know, he knows what he did. He's a big boy. >> Come on, baby. I need five more okay? >> He'll be there now. Go like at like 3:00, [snorts] 4:00 in the morning cuz that's probably when he'll be there. >> with you, isn't it just better to run to the jail and give him the >> Man, he's not going to go straight to the jail now, though. That's the thing. So, you're going to be wasting your time if you try to do that. I'm I'm going to give you the case number, right? >> The female witness also went to do the live lineup and positively identified Sharon. After looking up the details of the car, officers reached out to the owner, and what he told the officers gave a better picture of the events leading up to the crash. >> You're under arrest for leaving the scene of an accident. You remember now? Come on now. >> Obviously, she's Please tell me they did her for a DUI, too. >> we got? How many we got? >> But then again, they didn't really have her behind the wheel of the car. >> a juvenile, ma'am? Do I look like a juvenile? How old are you? Are you a juvenile? Okay. Well, we're in here. 52 years old. >> [laughter] >> This lady's like, "Do I look like a juvenile? I'm 52 years old." Should take it as a compliment. >> Barely looking. Did you require medical attention cuz you were in the accident today? Are you hurt or anything? Do you feel okay? Yeah, they were getting me to a hospital. What is wrong with you? What hurts? Well, my head. >> They were getting her to a hospital, folks. She lugged her big old bag the size of her and put it in the trunk, no problem, but they they were going to take her to the hospital. Mhm. >> Okay. They had Are you going to call the jail? I just want to let you know that I'm not going to lay anything. Just actually the legs you'll be processed. I just wanted to put my head You want us to check you out cuz you were in the accident? We're going to get fire rescue for you. Fire Okay, just I don't mind. I don't care. I want to get up. No, no, no, no, no. I didn't say that. Those are your orders. I need to sit down. Okay. I'll call fire rescue for you, love. Damn, she's got a whole bunch of money. It's the worst when they have a whole bunch of money because you got to go in, pound it, count it, do a whole bunch of bull crap. You got to like how many ones, how many fives, how many tens, how many twenties, how many do all that. You got to put make sure it's all on camera so that nobody questions what happened to the money after. She's got a lot of ones. I don't know. She's got a lot of ones. Making it rain. Uh questionable where she might work now. >> 323. I'm just just so you know for for And there's also some things in there. >> So you put your hands up as best you can and pull your two front pockets out and leave them out. >> Those pants are painted on. Got some tight old pants going on. Uh this style may style may exist in other places, but here man, this ain't the style. Especially for a guy like your size. Can't be wearing them tight little fake jeans. Look at this. >> Put them on the table. Leave your hands there. Walk your feet back and while you're standing. Walk back some more. You stand up and put them on? >> Huh? >> Huh? >> You'll be able to stand up and put it on? >> Uh I'll be better sitting down. >> Sit right there. >> Yeah, balance doesn't seem like his uh forte. His strength. >> In jail. Would that be tonight like >> Uh have a good >> [laughter] >> Have a good everything worked out. >> Thank you. How you doing? >> Good. And you? >> Good. >> Let's go inside. >> So this must be the owner of the vehicle. >> Yeah, for a short amount of time. You know, we flew out from LA together. Had a disagreement over dinner. Nothing heated or anything like that. And I just said, "Hey, listen. At this point in time, I'd like us to part ways. She has a friend that's out here from LA as well. I said you can go stay with her. Let's just go back, you pick up your stuff and let's let's part ways. Came back here, went up to the room, she came back down on her own with her stuff. Car was still there, apparently, and the valet had seen the two of us together. >> Mhm. >> And so he asked her, "Hey, is you call me mister, is mister coming down?" She was like, "No, I'm just taking the car out on my own." >> And how do you know this? >> That's what the valet guy just told me. She just grabbed the keys off the counter and she left. All right. >> It is. >> Oh, what's going on? >> Catfish. What catfish? She didn't have permission to take your car. Was her name on it when you signed it into valet? And what's the What kind of car is it? >> It's a gray Dodge Charger. >> You don't know your license plate? >> No, it's a rental car. >> It's a rental car? Okay. Grand theft auto, yes. I need to know. Yes? What you're telling me is true, she's technically stole the vehicle. If the vehicle's not in her name at all and she took it from >> Listen, dude. Throw all the charges you can on this girl. She's crazy. You dodged a bullet and let it hang on her. She needs some consequences for her actions. >> Valet. >> I was still upstairs. I didn't even authorize anything. They didn't even ask her for the ticket, nothing like that. She just took the keys off the table. >> Okay, and how do you know this girl? >> We met, we went out on one day and then we flew out to LA. >> And you flew out here together? So >> That's bold. One date and flew out to wherever they're at now. >> You barely know her. >> Yeah. Wow. Okay. >> It's up to you whether you want to do that or not. I think I think one of the tires was popped. >> Oh. >> But they're having it towed because crime scene has to take pictures and everything. >> Oh. >> So I just need to know whether you want to add on that additional charge cuz that's another felony. >> No. >> No? Okay. Are you sure cuz I'm going to let them know. >> Yeah, she's under enough >> The crash caused an estimated $5,000 in damage and Sharon was charged with leaving the >> All right. They said Asian in the beginning. I could kind of see that. Sharon, I wish I knew her last name. Hopefully we have the we know what happened to her here. Leaving the scene of an accident, property damage. >> scene and property damage. While Bobby was charged with felony accessory after the fact. However, because the underlying offense is only a misdemeanor, the state attorney could reduce or dismiss his felony charge. Both have since posted bond and the sports car was totaled. >> Yeah, that's totaled. She goes, "Um I think your tire's popped." Um I think we got a little bit more than a popped tire here. This one might not buff out. I don't think you're buffing this out. >> and towed. [music] As for why these men picked up a stranger who had just committed a serious crime, we'll leave that up to you. But perhaps the police did more than catch Sharon that night. They may have saved her from a potentially dangerous situation. >> what I'm thinking. All right, here we go. Some comments. Uh >> [snorts] >> I mean, look, I think they this police work they did a good job of getting the information out there and actually finding the car that she was in. And I'm glad they charged the driver of the car as well. I wish I knew what happened. I don't know their last name. Let's see if it says it in here. All right, we don't know. I think they did a good job. They got They just got her out, arrested her. Arrested both took both of them to jail. He got charged. His charge is probably going to get dropped. Be honest with you, it's probably not going to hold up. But he goes to jail for the night. She is lucky that he did not charge her with grand theft. Because she would have been in much more trouble. All right, here we go. Dude, flying your escort out from California was your first mistake. Yeah. That must be the cash for it. So, she had the escort card there. A lot of ones. And it was bold move. Uh flying the escort out, but I think he probably learned a lot valuable lesson. I don't know about you guys, but I think he learned a valuable lesson. All right, let's see here. Uh When you arrive on scene and everybody is on coke. >> [laughter] >> Uh that's a good one. Who is that? Alan Jim 3? All right. Is the car drivable? Well, I think one of the tires is popped. Cue the photo of a mangled totaled car, right? John Johnny 7W5F, we're on the same page right here. All right. No one in this video had good intentions. >> [laughter] >> That's true. No one in the video had good intentions. Um me thinks that was more than a date. Yeah, I think so, too. Shouldn't wear skinny jeans if you aren't skinny. Not only was he not skinny, he was the opposite of skinny and stuffed in there like a like a ham in a can was stuffed into those pants. It was not a good look. Uh that John uh I mean, guy from LA is hosed with the rental because he didn't press GTA charges. >> [laughter] >> He absolutely This is a mistake he made. He should have pressed charges for the theft because then the insurance wouldn't have been as fallen on him as hard. But, because he didn't decide to press charges the insurance company does the best they can to get out of paying this. And um Um, man here is going to have a problem. He should have pressed uh grand theft auto charges. Those guys thought they were getting lucky? Yes, they did. They thought they had paid her, man. This girl they saved her. They were going to leverage that. They got her suitcase in the car, and boom, cops ruined it. Uh the officer is calling her catfish is hilarious. >> [laughter] [gasps] >> Might not be be the best be be the best idea to go on vacation with somebody you just met on a dating site or on an escort site. Uh no, she told me she wasn't in an accident. Don't you just hate it when people approach you and tell you that they weren't in an accident? Happens to me all the time. >> [laughter] >> That actually is kind of funny once I started reading it more. Rusty lightning photo. Uh all right, last one. Too much money, no brains, too much ego, little soul. Well, well, well, well. I love it when justice prevails. This lady, let's take the humor out of it. Obviously, I think she was under the influence, but they couldn't put her in the vehicle, so they probably didn't charge her for that. But she's lucky she didn't run over a homeless person. That homeless person how was behind the vehicle, how she didn't get run over on the curb, I don't know. But she managed to not get or that homeless person managed to not get run over. Then leaves the scene of an accident, totally destroys the car. Frankly, she walked to the other car and put her bag in there. Zero remorse. I didn't see any remorse like I just totaled this poor guy's car that I came out here and flew out here with. Um no, no remorse whatsoever. Put that in the backseat and was ready to just move on with life as if nothing happened. And she She into a car with a bunch of other dudes. But, luckily, good police work, be on the lookout for, they found the car, they pulled her over, they got her out, maybe have saved her from a potentially bad situation, and they were able to hold her accountable. One mistake was made, the guy should have pressed grand theft auto charges. Let me know what you think. How did they do? What would you have done in this situation? And if you know what kind of punishment she got, I'd love to know. I think she deserves a couple years in prison for this, but I don't think she's going to get it, unfortunately. Comment, like, subscribe. I'll catch you on the next video.
